Terrible property Terrible owner Bankrupt

Low class Out to get you Loretta charged me for a room and would not refund me 3 mins later when I told her that my second guest was a child (Apparently her b&b bans children what a peach!) it’s one thing to have an adults only hotel but Why would you steal someone’s money? No surprise she is shut down Good riddance !! 🤮

N GG

Had such a great time at Rhinestone Rose Inn! Loretta was awesome and the place is clean and quiet There’s a hot tub, sauna(which I didn’t try but would have if I could’ve stayed longer) , and even two lounges; one in a quiet living room type setting, and one in a den type setting with a TV and little bar I loved the ambiance of the whole place

This is the first time I have ever stayed in a bed and breakfast, so I wasn’t sure what to expect You are real close to some of the guests compared to a traditional hotel, but if you aren’t afraid of human interaction you should be just fine

Jenny Shipley

This darling B&B is easily found, just outside of the town of Wrightwood (great little farmers market, and we enjoyed eating at the Grizzly Cafe and especially Village Grind), and not far from Mountain High Loretta, the owner, is friendly and fun – she makes you feel like family And she makes a mean smoothie too! Breakfast includes coffee and tea, fresh fruit (also in the aforementioned smoothies!), organic cereals (including oatmeal), yogurts, and an assortment of toast and bagels

All the rooms are cute, each with its own theme and unique charms The shower was cold one night, but we waited a bit and it warmed up again The gardens were sleeping for the winter, but I can imagine them very beautiful in the spring Lovely views from the enclosed sun porch, and sweet touches like hearts on the covers, Brita water pitchers in the rooms, and an assortment of toiletries Lola the Yorkie is an amazing hostess, mascot, and ambassador too! We will definitely be back for more snowboard/ski weekends!

Second time staying here and both times the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable If you like soft, squishy pillows this is your place!Only complaint is the water never reached more than tepid for both taps

Valinda Henry

Came to the area for business The staff were helpful and friendly enough The breakfast was typical with regards to eggs, sausage, cereal, and yogurt

I was surprised there was no fresh fruit The room was clean and and it had a microwave, small refrigerator and a sink The laundry room only had 2 washer/dryer, had to wait to do my laundry, a bit annoying It’s a fairly large hotel so I would of figured they would have at least 4 of each Overall they stay was fine

This isn’t the nicest area in town, but it’s not awful Great sushi place next door The room was clean however my room had the most awful view of piles of bird poop and the roof of the restaurant

I understand that it’s not going to be sparkling clean, but it would make a world of difference if they handled the pigeon issue in that corner (room 217) because I had pigeons waking me up early every morning, running into the windows and pooping all over the window I would not stay here again

Mark Darwin

Very nice hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable Staff is friendly and helpful Location is pretty good, as there are tasty restaurants in walking distance

Heating/air conditioning is a bit loud in the room and somesmall superficial things could be repaired However! I have enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

Today, March 1, 2022 While traveling from Arizona we called Holiday Inn in Victorville to see the cost for the night I spoke with the receptionist, told her I was a veteran to see if they had military discounts

She said my cost was $96, I asked about breakfast and she said it was included Somehow we got disconnected, since we were a short distance away we went directly there When we went in the price changed to $143 and if we wanted breakfast it would be a extra cost We talked about the difference for a short time so I asked for the manager to see why the differenceErika came out of her office and explainedI need a different ID even though my California driver’s license showed I was a veteran She then told me my cost for the room was not the $96 or the $143, it would now cost me $176 She did not even apologize for the mistake and would charge more which was an insult I walked outI own several companies that are service oriented and this was not the way to work with customers If the mistake could not be honored, or some token gesture of good will made, at least an apology seemed in order I have stayed in 15 hotels this year I no longer feel Holiday Inn deserves my business and I would not recommend this kind of service to anyoneSincerely,Larry Rankin

This elderly couple stayed 3 nights while visiting a very elderly mother in hospice The room was quiet, not paper thin walls like so many hotels, motels we’ve lodged in the past The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in

My wife agrees, and we don’t always agree! Thanks for installing a support bar in the shower for someone with Parkinson’s Disease Made use of the food court in the morning Hand sanitizer was not obviously placed; didn’t see it till we sat down Eating area was spacious and clean The breakfast offering was lacking variety in yogurt selection Cooked a dinner for two in our room with a fry pan made for one serving on an electric burner The dishwasher and refrigerator were perfect size Dish towels were insufficient in drying hands or dishes Paper towels were used sparingly to make them last the stay Coffee and tea selection in room tasted old A gold star shout out of gratitude to the house keeping person offering help for someone with Parkinson’s Disease to get to his room!

My wife found Home 2 suites this year while looking for hotels with continental breakfasts One thing about my wife, is we start at a hotel…it MUST have a continental breakfast So, while on her quest, on a whim we found this chain of hotels, and we LOVE them

In this year alone, we have stayed at six different Home 2 suites We have stayed at them in Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Texas, and NONE of them have disappointed us All of them provide excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent coffee, and excellent breakfast We love this chain and we are glad that we have found them We recommend Home 2 to everyone

Joseph Catalan

Nice, clean and newer hotel The rooms are spacious and nice amenities The kitchenette is awesome

There are silverware, plates, coffee maker and cups The hotel is in a good location to order from a delivery app Easy access to and from the freeway The staff is nice for the most part Some people say that there is a lot of noise from the freeway, and there is noise, but not enough to make it the worst stay ever Its a freeway, there is supposed to be noise Overall, the wife and I were very pleased with our stay

I don’t think there’s any hope for hotels like this They subsist on vagrants and apparently the local party scene, and at a relatively (for the quality) expensive rate I got a smoking room despite requesting otherwise

The driveway around the hotel is filled with potholes and what appears to be people living in their vehicles Getting in and out of the hotel is nearly impossible due to the “traffic situation” in this area Oh, and there’s 0 insulation between rooms Hope you like the ‘hostel’ feel because you’re basically sharing a room with all the people around you And the people around you are scary crack heads Just camp in your car or pay the extra 10 dollars a few miles from here for a decent spot Ugh The front desk woman was relatively friendly

Adrian Parra

I have not had the opportunity to visit or stay at Cajon Pass Inn Although, I have had the opportunity to work with their staff setting up a reservation Philip at Cajon Pass Inn was extremely helpful on all of three of my phone calls

Philip diligently answered any questions and made changes to my reservation on several occasions I am extremely satisfied with their customer service and am looking forward to staying with them in the future Thanks Philip!

Roberta Childress

We were hoping to have a pool in a jacuzzi, but we’re sorely disappointed The place seems clean but the toilet rocked, and the seat was missing a bolt They had someone come and fix the seat

The place seems kind of old and worn out The insulation was not good enough to keep you from hearing other guests And the doors didn’t automatically close so you would hear doors slamming a lot The cost was more than the value of the place It was a place to sleep, but that’s about it Nothing to really enjoy or feel relaxed No Wi-Fi, no pool, no Jacuzzi, and the smallest pillows you’ve ever seen They barely had enough towels for two people to take a shower The people that ran it seemed nice enough but we felt overcharged

I came across a young lady today while searching for an rv park and I’ll tell you what!, I really miss the way the world used to be!!!I be Believe her name was sheryl and she went above and beyond to meet our satisfaction or beyond what we’ve ever been served in our five years of traveling It doesn’t matter the facility, it doesn’t matter the space, When you feel like your money was appreciated and everything that you have expected is an abundance of what it should be it matters that I felt at home when I was away from home she made sure that I was completely satisfied and I had everything I needed and then went above and beyond that just to make sure we were happy most people don’t care

People like that are hard to come by! I will definitely come back just because of the customer service I received this evening she is an amazing campground host with undeniable care for the business she needs to be recognized for it so that concludes this review what an amazing park with an amazing stay with amazing employees The Wi-Fi is amazing the TV is wonderful it’s DIRECTV the bathrooms are clean the laundry facilities were all available and easy to use the office offers books and DVD movies it’s not much more you could ask for at a cheaper rate of $3599 because we’re seniors not too sure on the regular rate but we got a 10% discount thank you Oak hills Rv Village

Patrick Dennen

Place is amazingly quiet right next to the freeway very clean and the manager lady there is so very helpful and nice, even came and checked in on us after we had been there for a few hours setting up I highly recommend checking with her for space availability before showing up It’s in a beautiful location with great views and when it snows it’s a great stop before getting stuck in the Cajon pass

Plenty of space to get the biggest RV in and out the facility

Albert Sebastian

Oak Hill Rv was able to reserve me a spot with a days notice Much appreciated I didn’t look around at the facilities to rate them other than my own spot #4

It was fairly level I was able to keep my trailer (26ft) hooked up while parked as I was leaving the next day No problems with the Electric (30 amp) Didn’t need the water hookup The sewer needed a cap The back portion and area of the hookups could use some tidying up, but other than that, all was fine And for $3500 for the one day stay, worked out greatThe manager Cheryle seems to be a stand up lady

I was so disappointed we have water damage to our home and our insurance sent us there it was disgusting dirty with Roaches there was a dead roaches in the bathroom and 2 running in the living room besides when we walked in there was even a roach in the front office where you check in… That’s next to where the breakfast is served ewwwww…

Also the sofa in the living room was Extremely extremely dirty old and nasty…We didn’t stay we left they are supposedly giving us a full refund for 15 day 2 rooms…I don’t think this is fair at all honestly I left the hotel at 3 am with my 2 daughters and we ended up going to the MarriottI did stay at this hotel a few years ago it was clean with no issues at all…They definitely need major upgrades and a good fumigation company

Nicole Jenkins

Horrible The check in staff was rude, unfriendly Never greeted me

The room was very much out of date The bath tub water drained extremely slow I saw a bug crawling up the wall The complimentary breakfast was horrible Waffles practically crumbled in my mouth The eggs were good though so I guess that’s something There’s only 1 ice machine in the whole hotel I was on the 3rd floor so having to go down to the first everytime was annoying and lastly At 4 in the morning the fire alarm went off and the staff eventually said it was a false alarm I was on vacation and everyday I wake up at 4am I got this hotel to sleep in and relax and the hotel quality prevented that and we’ll as woke me up and I could not get back to sleep Now that may have been out of there control so if that was the only thing I could understand but that on top of everything else is what confirmed my thought that I would never stay at Hawthorne suites ever again

Indian Slayer

I’ve been here off and on for awhile and this Hotel used to be amazing However it’s gone downhill quite a bit Homeless hang out in the front constantly

Sometimes high, sometimes trashing the front, etc They’ve also lowered their standards for the people they rent rooms to Now this Hotel is filled with addicts and drug dealers The staff here aren’t so bad although Robert needs to hire proper employees The breakfast is awesome which is a plus and the housemaids do a really good job when you ask for room service Hope this place improves because it has so much potential but as of now the $170-180 a night for a room isn’t worth it

This has to be one of the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed in The service and employees are nice But the rooms are not what I would have expected from a higher end hotel

The floors creek when you walk in your room You can hear the people above you very easily walking around Wallpaper in the bathroom cracked and little holes in the wall The carpet is old and really needs to be replaced You can tell it’s old by the pattern and how dark and dingy it is The curtains do not close all the way and they let light in during the morning hours I was under the impression that all Hiltons had black out curtains so that light doesn’t seep through, so that’s disappointingThe beds are comfortable which is the most important thing And the size of the room is decent It’s just not much better than a lot of the low-end hotels that I’ve stayed inIt’s conveniently located next to a family fun place with rides, go karts, mini golf, etc So that’s convenient to have next to you Lots of food places to eat nearby

Joel Reeves

We had two rooms for 3 nights ea 1st night both rooms was very good, all slept well 2 and 3 nights were repeatedly interrupted with very heavy steps, on our ceiling, from one end of the room to the other, back and forth with running and loud bangs, like some one was dropping a bowling ball, scattered all over our ceilings

Called front desk several times They said they’d send up security No security was ever seen and the problem would only stop for maximum 20 mins and then start up again I went up to the room where the problem was being caused Found dirty towels in front of door in the hall way and heard voices behind door- I went to front desk- and told her what i saw and heard and she told me that room did not show to be occupied but she would check the system again ??Of course she was unable to do anything more except to forward our complaint to the manager who was not on the night shift Same when we checked out they would “forward our complaint to manager” Manager has yet to contact us and the front desk offered us noting but very weak apologiesVery disappointing for HILTON to allow this lack of professionalism

I’m a truck driver so any hotel with truck parking is convenient The room is pretty clean No coffee maker in the room

No cups or anything of the sort Just soap Transients walking through the parking lot (expected in Cali) and people spinning tires in the parking lot The other tenants are pretty loud with no concern for other guests Loud noises and doors slamming all night long Don’t expect a good night’s sleep The ladies at the front desk are super friendly, so that’s a plus They serve coffee and tea in the morning Pets stay free For the price and not charging me for the pup it’s pretty much on point Just don’t come here expecting much It’s not a Hilton

My only big issue was wishing the towel policy was told to us at check in wed gotten back late, asked for more towels &was told we needed to bring down our old ones a few light bulbs out as well as missing boards under the sink

But the service was friendly, room was clean, location was great, price was affordable and room was spacious Other than the wishing we had known the policy at check in & minor maintenance needed it is a place we wouldn’t mind staying again

Vaa Motufau

The rooms are filthy and the carpets are stained Much of the walls inside the rooms we’re damaged such as missing trims, holes that were the size of baseballs, and deep scratches Restrooms were not cleaned and still had urine on the top of toilet from previous occupants as well as there was roaches which crawled on the walls inside of the tub and around the toilet

Beds had dust all over the sheets and pillows as if the last time a cleaning crew past three was years ago! I spoke to the manager immediately after inspecting the room and she told me “ We are already aware of the rooms conditions and that don’t charge anyone for damage because we know the rooms are already damaged” so the staff also know that there services are not at all up to par and completely a scam This place should be closed down and never reopened especially with the current owners and management

Local.Lawnmower

No breakfast provided and had terrible service, the rooms had patches of paint that were covering graffiti and it smelled of Marijuana The rooms were okay for the most part but the hallways were honestly really sad They carpet looked dirty and the floors were wet, thr hallways smelled like rotten takeout food and the elevator smelled strongly of the rotten food and smoke

Was too expensive for the same expectations as a 2 star motel, Very disappointed

The location is tricky because the parking stalls are tight When the sun was setting and we pulled out to go ahead and have supper we couldn’t see the lights and we ended up running a red light The room is fine for our one night

For people that have disabilities they did make sure that there was a shower chair in the bathroom and the shower stall is flat you don’t have to lift your foot up to get in it They do make you sign a waiver about the pool because of covid-19 The front desk was very sweet and helpful Our room is in a sweet spot, rooms 102, 103, 104, and 105 very close to a side door and this makes it very easy to bring in your luggage

Good experience Room very clean, bed very comfortable lots of pillows which was greatBreakfast was very nice offer a lot of food

We would differently come back to stay Jacuzzi could be hotter feels just like bath water Coffee was great and creamers were nice to see out

Ash

The hotel was nice, very clean and organized Staff is respectful and polite, although the location the hotel is in is a little unhinged The rooms were also very neat and tidy with fridges inside

Some of the guests are a little odd, as I smelled marijuana in the hallways and in the breakfast lobby, a man was walking around with just a towel around his waist Overall I give this hotel 3 stars
