I am currently staying at this hotel  I booked for a last minute weekend getaway  When I pulled up the outside was beautiful

Having never stayed here the outside made me feel like I made a great choice Staff was polite at check in which was great as well Upon entering the room there was a pen top on the floor, just assumed housekeeping dropped it on their way out, should have been my 1st clue There was brown hard water stains in the toilet which was a little off putting and both rolls of toilet paper were low There are small splattered stains on the inside of the bathroom door at the bottom Hate to think of what it could be I checked in after 8pm so I was eager to unwind I tried placing my drink in the freezer but it was completely frozen over Sat on the couch and there were stains all over Had to cover it with towels Opened a drawer and there was someone’s birth certificate in there My husband told me not to worry, we can get past those things, it’s just 2 nights and the bed looked very clean and well made The pillows were horrible and I didn’t sleep well at all Today I requested toilet paper and wash clothes After over 30 minutes and 2 calls, I was advised to locate the housekeeper on my floor for assistance So of course I have to get dressed to do so and I obviously needed to use the bathroom 30 minutes ago, instead I’m hunting down housekeeping Needless to say I won’t stay again These may all seem like small things but grouped together they are a big problem and leads to a horrible stay, especially when you pay good money for good service

Blaine Pierce

The rooms were clean and that’s solely where the two stars comes from It was defiantly not worth the price they charged or the amount of stars this hotel received online The bed was hard as a rock, so needless to say sleep was minimal

There literally is a sign posted at the front desk stating I’d you need any extra towels, see the front desk due to house keeping not coming into rooms where guests are there longer than a day We go down to the front desk and the woman told us every towel was in the washer/dryer so they have none To top the cake, house keeping entered our room without knocking We opened the door and the house keeper acted like nothing happened No apology, no nothing except her going on to the next room knocking on the door before entering like you’re supposed to We thought we had found a nice place to stay when we came down here, but we will be continuing our search for other amenities

First off the app allowed me the option to quickly check in and checkout I loved the digital key feature on the app which allowed me to unlock the room door The hotel lobby was clean, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice

The room had hanging curtains that allowed you the option to divide the room The room had a kitchen with a standard size refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, large microwave, dishes and utensils You could even request a hot plate burner at the front desk if you wanted to cook I will definitely stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton again

Kevin Monaghan

We cancelled a stay at another area location and chose this one instead The rooms are clean and comfortable and we experienced the front desk staff to be friendly and engaging Joy, in particular, is a true blessing and went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected at check-in to resolve a separate issue for us

She is terrific Travelling with a pet for the first time, we found this easy and convenient and the hotel is remarkably quiet, given it’s pet friendly policy Will definitely be back

Amazing hotel with a great staff! The breakfast bar was always well stocked Rooms were spotless The rooms are well thought out – all of them have a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher

You can request an induction plate from the front desk In addition, they have a great patio space with built in grills! One of the best hotels I have been to!

I was nervous about booking here due to some of the reviews I readbut I’m so glad I did

The hotel itself is located in the business district of MD, so it’s a fairly quiet area that’s tucked away There were a few eateries near by but like we all know the good stuff requires som travel (longest we had to travel was 20minutes) The lobby of the hotel looked like it was being worked on so I was super nervous about the room We were booked for a suite on the fourth floor and it was beautiful! We had a room at the end of the hall and it was directly across from the elevator so that made things ten times more better We couldn’t heard outside noises from the room and because of our location we felt safe in knowing that we wouldn’t have that much foot traffic near our door The room was very spacious and comfortable The carpets and room itself was clean The only problem we had was the tub retaining water, but the front desk quickly resolved the problem in less than 30minutes In all, the room was affordable and exceeded my expectations; I think we found our returning hotel for future visits!

Melissa Dutton

We stayed here with a school group and the service was excellent The staff was kind and helpful Tyrone, Lorenzo, and Wendell were our favorites

We appreciate you guys answering our questions and giving us directions The shuttle was quick to take us to restaurants and stores nearby We have had a great time Strongly recommend this hotel!

Sarah Caskey

Staff is super friendly and welcoming The hotel itself though is very dark same with the rooms, not a big deal but the perception of the lamp shades completely bent out of shape and position, cardboard stuffed between the fan I assume to keep it from rocking, burn holes in the furniture, hair in the towels Rough guests and/or poor attention to detail when maintaining

The interior is dated with some signs of wear However, the room was immaculate, perfectly clean The staff is outstanding, extremely accommodating, super nice and friendly

The in-hotel restaurant is above average, but the menu is limited However, again, the staff were superb Overall, if you don’t need a new or recently renovated placetostay, you’ll be happy here Oh, and there are several places to eat nearby if you want something that’s not on the in-house menu

C Smith

Paid for Room 1: Executive Level Room – Two Queen Beds which was supposed to include breakfast Upon check in the receptionist failed to mention anything about breakfast nor did she tell us you had to request to have your room cleaned because of Covid Yet, everyone is walking around the hotel without a mask

I’m so tired of businesses using Covid as an excuse for giving below average serviceHouse keeping was two doors down and we were told she already had her listThey refused to clean my room upon request Only empty the trash cans and bring clean towelsBrought clean towels and left dirty towels Why not take the dirty towels when you brought clean? Housekeeping entered the room to bring clean and not take dirty Worse hotel experience everExecutive Level Room – Two Queen Beds there was nothing executive about this roomI would never stay again unless management make it right I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you want a dirty room and not getting what you paid forBusiness don’t care how they get your money and do absolute least for it

Arianne Clar

We had our long flight from Germany and we decided to stay in this hotel for 1 night before get to our next flight But due to delayed on our flight, we just got to stay in this hotel for 4 hrsThe receptionist is really nice, our room is big and clean

They do have free shuttle to pick you up and bring you to the bwi airport, which is really nice, since we were very late and so tired, not having to think about rides is good plus, the lady driver is pretty awesome as well

Terrible experience I checked in for 1 night around 8pm and had to be transferred to 3 different rooms until I was in a proper hotel room The first room looking horrific with brown liquid dripping from the ceiling onto a plastic covered bed

The second room didn’t have working A/C, to which the front desk said it’s been broken for awhile Finally made it to the 3rd room around 11pm and it was in working order Not really the night I was looking for after a long days travel Highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel This was simply unacceptable and I will be taking my complaints to corporate

Sabriya Ali

I enjoy my stay very friendly customer service was fabulous and the energy was amazingKeep up the fabulous job Yet l think they need to loosen up on the dress code I enjoy seeing colors l feel as though we’re in a place of being yourself but with professorism

So as long as l can see colors it bright my day

Seth Burke

Front desk staff told us it was cheaper to go online and book however the online booking was very glitchy and we ended up having to have the front desk staff check us in The three people in the back were feet up chatting and didn’t seem too concerned with helping us out Also had a smashed screen outside our window that looked like it had been there for a while

Room was comfy overall

It’s a decent and affordable hotel, not the caliber that would be my first preference however Rooms were clean, staff was professional Ashanti was exceptional! Our couches had stains, no big deal

They accommodated us when our AC unit was broken Continental breakfast, beautiful lobby Why three stars? Called our last night to simply request if it was possible for a late checkout Carl, the night attendant responds, “No” and after a brief silence says “no, no, no we are already booked, no” as though I was being scolded and he was aggravated about receiving the same request from other guests Poor customer service and soft skills When I was asked to sign a contract at check-in promising no parties and loud music and given a parking permit stating take all valuables out the car, that told me all I needed to know about the environment, the people that stay there and what staff has to deal with Nevertheless, that doesn’t exonerate staff from treating guests like second class nuances Do better Carl

Michelle

Long but thorough!…Staff: EXCELLENT WonderfulCustomer Service Honestly best staff experience I’ve ever had…and I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, some very high end

They go above and beyond, even for my kids! So friendly!Breakfast: FABULOUS spread Had sausage, was only lacking bacon 😂 tons of choices and on the go options too Not skimping with generics, either EGGS MADE WITH CHEESE…Need I say more?!Room: No complaints about cleanliness; AC DEF WORKS! 😉 Housekeeping is nice, helpful and efficient when needed Comfy bed and pillows! And of course, the suite factor with a sectioned off living space + kitchenette is clutchPool & hot tub: Fine, does the trick Could use more seating and keeping up with stock of available “pooltowels” on a shelving unit, but that’s ok Can get loud, but that’s to be expected if an indoor poolFree (soft) chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, GOOD COFFEE always hot and available, easy parking… what else can I say?PS “The Green Turtle Bar & Grill” is an easy, short walk and fantastic food! Menu and food quality much better than any typical sports bar!

Deborah Sanchez

So my family and I needed a 2 night stay the price was more than I’d like but it was a weekend so 340 is about average The room was accommodating but there were plenty of noticeable stains on the mattresses and sheets

There is a complimentary breakfast but the Waffles were all burnt and stuck together in the plastic The milk was going bad because it was being held at a warmer temp than it should’ve been There was visible mold in the bathroom and due to lack of staff, we couldn’t get an extra blanket or pillow until the morning Our room had a pullout sofa with no dressings Not the worst hotel experience but Def could use some improvements The staff that was there was pleasant at check in and during the interim The manager did make a point to come up to check the toilet which wasn’t flushing so that was a plus I’d come back for the sake of convenience

We have been traveling up and down between Pennsylvania and Florida for the past 2 during the pandemic staying overnight in at least 10 different hotelsIt would be very easy for me to say that this was by far the best stay we have experience! We would not change a thing The room was clean and had a nice aroma to it

When we arrived the staff was courteous and helpful at all times and the best part of it was the breakfast was the best breakfast since the pandemic began! Will definitely stay here again next time

Nice hotel: quiet, fresh towels and cleanBUT:Please pay attention that one of the destination Tesla chargers is dangerously mountedThe male maid who was servicing the bins at the breakfast area has a terrible cough as he has a severe disease

Kindly asking to provide him with a maskOther than that, the receptionist was a smiley polite and competent personThe flower decor is nice!

Perfect location for my needs The hotel needs work and quickly The phone in the room did not work! Couldn’t contact the front desk, so when we needed them we had to go down to the lobby! We had to ask 4-times to get body wash as the previous guests ripped the bottle of the wall in the shower

Awesome bartender! He was all by himself but kept up with everyone in a timely fashionLocation was very convenientThere was a wedding after party in one of the rooms It large l lasted well into the early morning hours The group was extremely loud; making it impossible to rest, sleep and relax! We called down to the lobby using our cell phones and they said there was nothing they could do as it was almost over and those guests were quiet That’s because management was in the lobby and not in the 3rd floor!!! Absurd

Jessica Pereira

At check-in, the gentleman was extremely nice and provided a warm welcome to Baltimore after a day of flight delays The hotel was nice with a clean lobby and nicely furnished room The bathroom left a little to be desired and the wall dispensers in the shower were broken off but it wasn’t a big deal

All in all, the actual stay would have been 4-5 stars, HOWEVER, when I arrived home from my business trip I found that I had been charged $108 and each of my colleagues staying at the same time had charges ranging from $90-210 with no reason or acknowledgment provided by the hotel at check out and itemized receipts never sent by email as promised I don’t know if they think that business travelers won’t be checking statements and that they can just throw random charges onto the room? Because of the shady nature of these additional charges and the time now spent on the phone with Marriott to dispute the charges, my company and our clients will be finding another hotel to use for our Baltimore travel needs

Brian Bittner

Spacious rooms with nice amenities The hotel is clean and the small sitting areas available both inside and outside are great to relax and chat or read It’s definitely designed to ease the weariness of travelling

The staff are cordial and very helpful The parking lot is very small but there is a good deal of guests from the airport with no cars – just depends on when your stay is

TLDR – Great place to stay!Although we only stayed one night we feel the hotel was very accommodating We wanted a place to stay so we could get an early trip to the airport We got a great price to keep our vehicle for a couple days until we returned

Jackie, at the front desk, was extremely courteous and helpful to us The trip to and from the airport in ‘the cookie van’ was prompt and courteous The room was clean and modern The food we ordered from the restaurant in the evening was delicious and the service was greatsame with breakfast in the morning The cookies were a nice touch We’ll stay there again the next time we fly out of BWI

Joseph Elkins

The front desk staff sit “too busy” on their personal phones and lie to people by saying that they don’t have water bottles for guests that pay hundreds of dollars for poor quality beds in rooms with very loud air conditioners and doors/walls through which you can hear every tone some one flushes or is talking Disrespectful staff 24/7 available to charge you $3/20oz water bottle The only great aspect of this experience was the wonderful daytime shuttle driver who is extremely kind and professional

Dimples h

The hotel smelled like gas Spoke with rude Kyle at the front desk about it He stated management was aware as this has been going on for weeks and they were not going to do anything about it

He brushed me off to speak with the next guest that walked up This is very dangerous for the guest and employees to be inThe next day (Sunday) I’m coming out of the bathroom naked and housing keeping is entering my room at 10am I went to the front desk and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager (did not want to provide his name to me) explained to him what happened and why are they entering my room at 10am if check out is not until 12pm He confirmed check out was at 12 and stated house keeping is short staffed I told him there was not an excuse as to why they were entering my room so early He apologized and asked if I wanted coffee or a cookie Like why would I want coffee or a cookie when I was just violated by entering a room we paid forOverall the room was nice! Doubletree needs to do better with their staff

The only reason that I gave this two stars rather than one because of the staff is really nice But this hotel has seen its better Days The rooms smells molded, it may be the carpet

It was difficult for me to sleep because of the smell I had a headache for the 2 nights that I stayed there My coworkers stated the same thingNormally hotel lobbies are nice and updated Not this one, so you know what you are going to get when you get to your room Even the wallpaper has scratches and dirt on it Horrible!!! Do not stay here unless you live lesser than this!

Gavin GUARDMAN

We booked in to a “suite” which is putting it very modestly The only upgrade was a bit more floor room It was on the fifth floor

There was peeling paint and wallpaper across most of the walls The toilet would not flush and ended up clogging immediately When going to the front desk, clerk was on a smoke break and had to call maintenance personally who was just not at work What kind of Hilton has no maintenance staff? We had to plunge the toilet ourselves Subsequently another person in my party tried to shower and the bath tub backed up When going to plunge to it to maybe try and fix it, black pieces came out of the drain God only knows what those were So we asked to move which they obliged The room the system said was available was not It was filthy and torn apart and smelt like some one had died in it from the hallway Back down to the desk we went They finally seemed to pull enough sense together to get us into a room seeing as how it’s approaching midnight and we’d be lucky if there was any more available The consolation was free ice cream and a changed rate The rate going from 135 to 99 a night In my opinion this place was comparable to a motel 6 which cost 30 dollars a night I probably would have slept better there I like a stiffer bed but I left with back pain The ac wasn’t working properly either as I dropped it to 66 degrees and the ambient temp stayed around 71 Damp and dingy The lobby bathroom stall is falling apart The pool was nice enough with a broken gate The entirety of the hotel comes from a time forgotten which was kinda cool for two minutes until you see how nasty it actually is I guess if I was as drugged as hunter s Thompson in fear and loathing this place would be marvelous But it is indeed a dumpster fire If you have live anywhere close to better than this hotel is not for you

Before a long day of travel, I had booked a room at this hotel for over $200 in hopes of rest before a 7 hour drive the next day I arrived to a chaotic place with people having cookouts and throwing baseballs in the parking lot There was one person working on an incredibly busy night

I tried to go to sleep just before 9pm to no avail There was yelling, screaming, and door slamming I contacted the front desk They sent “security” up to quell the ruckus to no avail The next time I called the lady said she’d have them evicted, but still nothing I called the front desk 8 times over the course of 3 hours and as I write this the noise is still as loud as it was at 9pm This is behavior I expect paying $60 at a Motel 6, but this is a Hilton property charging almost 4 times that amount Stay away from this place if you actually want to sleep

Was super excited to stay at this hotel and picked it because of its great location and proximity to the inner harbor The architecture inside and outside is so pretty & very historic The front desk manager (Ralph) however managed to take away from our experience on the very first day

He couldn’t care to talk to a customer who was waiting in the lobby for 20 min for a valet In his opinion, the customer should have come to him and asked for help instead of waiting for the valet When my husband asked for help because of the long wait, Ralph tried to justify the long wait My husband is a Diamond member and stays at Hilton hotels every week He knows the ropes and understands good customer service and quick resolution of problems Ralph kept trying to explain his point of view (regarding the long wait for parking) in an effort to argue his case and prove us wrong Ralph also made a mention of the fact that my husband probably didn’t understand his explanation very well! Having travelled the world and having stayed at some of the best Hilton hotels, I can unequivocally say that this manager represented the hotel chain very poorly!!!Here’s a tip for Ralph: When a customer is unhappy about a situation, apologize and fix it instead of justifying yourself and then coaching the customer about what they should have done differently!!PS Received an email & phone call with management who apologized and tried to make it right…appreciate the effort!

Everyone working at this hotel was so nice Valet, front desk ladies, cooks, housekeepers, etc The hospitality was on point

They did this and also left us extra bedding and blankets The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful  They provide a free 24/7 shuttle to/from BWI and Jack, the shuttle driver, was excellent Our room AC worked well in the summer heat and the bed and bedding were comfortable I absolutely LOVE their soft down pillows Breakfast options were very limited but I did enjoy the oatmeal (I was able to add butter, coconut flakes, shaved nuts and cinnamon) and coffeeThe badIts definitely the most rundown Hyatt Place I have been to Its an older building and the furnishings are very worn, dead bug in the light above the sink, moldy shower tile, carpets and furniture stained, etc  No outlets at the desk and the outlets by the TV near the desk didn’t work The outlet next to the bed was difficult to get to The blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the whole window so light poured in and woke me up at 7am

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Linthicum MD a few weeks ago and the staff was exceptionally kind The young woman at the reception desk with the long hair and big glasses is an asset to the hotel It was very busy and the rooms were not ready but she handled everything with patience and kindness

The room was very nice and clean and the pillows are great! I will definitely stay there again!

I wish zero stars was an option because 1 star is too many The hotel stunk and smelled liked pot It was dirty and in disrepair

My daughter was threatened by another guest because she thought my daughter was “stalking her luggage cart” when in reality, my daughter was just trying to get the one and only other cart in the entire hotel which just happened to be down the hall past the threatening guest The carpet in our room was stained, the enamel in our tub was chipped, the sink did not drain, and everything looked like it was falling apart We booked for 4 guests and the room had glasses and towels for 2 guests Also the towels were awful They were old and worn out We tried to buy bottled water in the “shop” and we were told to go to 7-11 We paid over $200 for one night I feel like if the hotel doesn’t provide a reasonable representation of what they claim to offer they should have to refund your money since we can’t get a refund if we cancel too late Fair is fair Save your money and stay somewhere else

My large group and I stayed one night at this hotel Our flight (Spirit airlines) was canceled from Philly to NOLA and the only alternative flight was the following day from Baltimore at 7pm I quickly booked this hotel and just assumed we would have to deal with being cramped in a small less than favorable room

I was wrong! The room was spacious, beautiful and cleanthe staff was incredible Special shout out to Margo! She was so kind and accommodating We were blessed to encounter her The free breakfast was delicious (waffles, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, breads bagels etc) we washed our airport clothes (small coin fee the hotel provides detergent) Margo provided us with a late checkout due to the circumstance and scheduled a shuttle ride to the airport Thank you so much! We will definitely be back if ever in the area!

We were traveling through the Baltimore area and booked this stay in advance Romelo provided outstanding customer service at check-in, honoring our request for a pet-free room Our room was exceptionally clean

We liked the layout and found everything we needed in the kitchenette Check-out was seamless and we enjoyed the breakfast options of waffles, yogurt, fruit, juices, pastries, and to-go granola bars Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful

This place overall is a great stay!! Especially for pet owners I love their pet policy and the housekeeping staff is very friendly and thorough with the cleaning overall A slightly annoying staff member and a lil bit of updating needed in the bathtub irritated me while there

However the friendliness and efficiency of the managers as well as most of the staff, made up for any glitches The hot breakfast, pool, and gym are all great additions I do recommend this hotel and will try this brand from now on when traveling with or without our pet

The hotel is in need of a deep cleaning It was dusty and visibly dirty base boards, windows etc The bed was worn and the pillows are like small bags of rocks

Super uncomfortable stay Staff wasn’t to friendly and hardly said helloWe’ve stayed here before and each stay has gotten worse The bar tender was on her phone checking out social media while we were trying to get drinks We will not stay again I certainly do not recommend this hotel, there are other options in this area These were my pillows in my picture I literally folded them in half When I asked for new ones, they lady at the front desk was totally annoyed with me They did deliver 2 new pillows that weren’t much better and they said they could only replace 2, so my husband had to tough it out

My first visit to this hotel will be my last I had a bad feeling about this place upon arrival The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful, but the overall experience was terrible

I reserved two rooms and requested either adjoining rooms or rooms next to each other (for me, my daughter(s), and her friends who were celebrating her birthday) They allegedly accommodated my request, however, when my children and I went into one of the rooms, it was already occupied We had to scramble back out of the room as not to disturb the occupant Unfortunately, the only other available room was two floors away from my girls in the second room That didn’t work for us, so we wound up leaving and checking into a nearby hotel I understand an honest mistake, but it was late and we’d had a long day We were ready to hit the showers and go to bed Having to find another hotel after 11P was very inconvenient and even more tiring Also, IDK if the guest in the room we went into was a hard sleeper or what because they didn’t budge when we barged into the room I asked the front desk attendant to check on them I hope they did!

My boyfriend and 2 of our friends traveled to Baltimore for the Arsenal soccer game this past weekend We had originally booked a different hotel and after driving 7 1/2 hours we pulled up and they were permanently closed and did not inform us prior When I looked online it said that Hampton Inn was fully booked but I still decided to call for a room

Ricardo was able to get us the last room available and his customer service after hearing of our issue was better than could be expected Ashley P who works the front desk was equally as amazing! She checked us in and out with no issues, gave us food suggestions when asked and was honestly just the sweetest soul after our horrible morning Her level of professionalism and compassion was top tier and Hampton Inn is lucky to have someone who cares so much for guests working for them The room was great, good choices for morning breakfast and an amazing staff Would definitely stay again!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile from Charlie, treated as a diamond member She provided water, I did ask for the higher floors but the no rooms were available, but was provided a nice quite room The rooms are very clean, hotel is close to everything you need

During my 4 day 3 nights stay I have only dealt with Charlie and she has been tremendous Helpful with local restaurants and such I would recommend staying here and would come back

Margaret Clark

We were in the area for a funeral The desk clerk when we checked in was quick to give us recommendations for local restaurants that we might enjoy, and to see if we needed anything at all for our stay We thoroughly enjoyed our time there even if the occasion was difficult

All the staff we met was very kind and encouraging and we highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel Breakfast included Typical breakfast, not a lot of choices

We found pancakes, bagels, scrambled eggs etc Always try to pick a corner king room, that has the best view around the hotel The room clean not automatic, you need to request it Digital keys are not available at least that is the case when I checked in There is a $150 security deposit, which you will get back after check out

Peter Yong (PedroJoven)

Check-in was fast, room and bathroom was clean, bad view (power station), toilet handle was broken but usable, room was low light, good idea with motion sensor lights except for the bathroom, equipped with many USB charging on the desk, TV area and by the beds Breakfast was goodSunday 08/07 front desk guy – friendly, fast and helpfulMonday 08/08 front desk lady – unfriendly and liarTuesday 08/09 front desk lady – friendly, honest and helpfulWednesday 08/10 front desk lady – friendly and quick checkoutI requested for late checkout and the Tuesday front desk lady lied to me that it was not possible due to the hotel fully booked

I tested booking online and the hotel was far from fully booked for Wed 08/10 Checked again with a different front desk lady on Tuesday and she verified that Wed was not fully booked and told me no problem with 1pm late checkoutBob, parking attendant – friendly, fast and helpfulThe motion sensor for bathroom is placed outside! Hence, when you’re in the bathroom, the lights can just go off on you!TV is far away and the sofa on the side, TV mounted and cannot be turned so either sitting on the bed far away from the TV or watching the TV sidewaysHousekeeping – very good, cleaned the room well and replenished everythingLocation is pretty good and there’s access to free city bus tour Walking distance to harbor

When you first walk into the hotel and there is an overwhelming smell of air freshener After walking into the room it was clear why- I immediately noted crumbs all over the floor and a foul smell on the general hotel floor I reported it to the front desk and we were “upgraded” to a suite

It was close but no cigar The suite was extremely dusty, the side table was filthy, the mirror was disgusting and I even found a used towel hanging in the closet The state of both rooms demonstrate a clear disregard for thorough cleanliness When we reported our garbage was full we were told to leave it outside our door which was then not picked up until the next day despite putting it out early in the day The overwhelming smell of air freshener seems to be a way to mask the foul smell of no upkeep Understandably hotels are shifting away from cleaning rooms every day however there should be a standard of at least thoroughly cleaning a room once a week and the common areas every other day I’ve stayed at other Hampton Inns and while Charles at the front desk tried his best to assist, this was by far my worst experience

Wonderful hotel Very quiet for as packed as the hotel was You couldn’t hear anything once inside your room

The bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at a hotel in this price range Also it was very clean and everyone that works there seems to really take pride in the way this HI Express is run Morley at the front desk was also so nice and just made you feel really good and happy

Brian Janowsky

We only stayed on of our 3 nights and checked out early Hotel was great as well as the front desk lady The room had a Comfty bed, soft pillows, big tv, hot shower with awesome pressure, nice size room and king bed

Easy access outdoors with a bench and ashtray to smoke cigarettes I wish all hotel employees had the front lady’s energy, I hope she enjoys her vacation in Texas she just left for, I’m sure she earned it! The only downfall to this hotel is that they didn’t have Dr Pepper available!! Thanks for good hotel choice!

Holiday Inn Express is a awesome place to stay I paid almost 30 percent less than the competition and Holiday Inn Express was just as nice Furthermore, I got a military discount

They have a gym, swimming pool, and a awesome breakfast I liked the fact that they have showers instead of bath tubs Their hospitality is the best The Desk Clerk was very informative and polite

Would’ve been much better if we’d had curtains in the eastern facing windows Guess they want you up early Everything is clean

Bed is very firm Building looks like they have recently renovated itAddition: there were only electrical outlets on one side of the bed No table or lamp or anything for the other side We were in room 501 Our friends were in 204 and they did have curtains A/C worked great If anyone used the spiral staircase everyone in the building could hear it To be fair, it is a really old building Not sure I like the “no contact” and all electronic check in I’d at least have liked to have had a phone number for someone if I had a problem Decent place but probably wo t stay there again mainly due to the price being so high and how little you get for it

D S

The positive: The unit was clean Bed was comfortable Air-conditioning worked

Nice TV in the room Neat looking building from the exterior They honored the AAA price for the unit (10% discount) Truly a contactless facility if your worried about CovidThe negative: No staff in the building to help you if you need it When you do need to contact them you have to contact them via email and response time varied significantly (it was never immediate, but they did eventually respond) The phone number for the facility online is disconnected Limited number of electrical outlets in the room making it difficult with 3 people are in the room No where to store your luggage temporarily on check out day if you have a late afternoon flight (there is no front desk)— contacted them via email and was only given an option of paying an additional $45 for a late checkout which was very inconvenient “Cleaning fee” Raises the price significantly of the unit per night We had no one clean our unit while we were there for only 2 nights (our choice), but still paid the flat $75 fee for the cleaning For the same $150 I paid for each night I could’ve stayed at a Hyatt downtown and had breakfast provided plus be much closer to downtown and all of the restaurants/activities Instead had to pay for Uber to get downtown because really did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood

While my stay at the Hotel Brexton was overall a positive experience, I did want to share why I am only giving it 3 stars:- The check-in process is confusing You need to go through it digitally since the hotel is all contactless There is no one physically at the hotel to help you

– The elevator inspection and registration expired in January 2022 I reached out to their virtual front desk about updating it and did not receive a response- Misleading amenities Microwave was listed as an amenity, but the room did not have one—there was one microwave in the lobby Netflix was listed as an amenity, but I had to sign into my own account on their Roku- The bathroom sink was very difficult to turn off and water would sometimes overflow from the handle- The water temperature of the bathroom sink and the shower seemed to have two settings: hot and scorching hot- Paid for a cleaning fee but the room was never cleaned during my 5 night stay- I’ve seen similar reviews, which concerns me regarding the hotel’s diligence in addressing known issuesAll of that said, the room was clean, comfortable, and got lots of natural light However, it’s overpriced for what you get and is best for someone low-maintenance
