Obviously comes with a high price being dead center in Pismo and offering a beautiful view of the city from the rooftop and beach if your lucky to get an ocean view It is modern, but lacks the cleanliness that would be expected of an expensive hotel The valet parking was nice and customer service was decent

They had a small bar downstairs that I did not utilize The restaurant on the rooftop with the hot tub was fairly nice Quality view, but it got kind of chilly and windy Drinks were made well, but the waiter and bartender were in no rush The most convenient thing is the location There is good eats and coffee shops all in walking distance The rooms were clean and the service was good The hallways could use a touch up as they seem outdated A decent location if your honeymooning, but there is some hotels near the cliffs that provide better rooms if you plan on staying indoors If your a family looking for an easy going trip, this is the place to be

Inn at the Pier is my new favorite central coast hotel The quality of service provided here is superb and rare these days The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond being kind and helpful

The oceanfront view is nice because it’s situated across from the pier, and from the vantage of the balcony, there is an expansive view The location is perfect, and the hotel is within walking distance of everything that downtown Pismo Beach has to offerThe rooms are comfy, the beds were amazing and the shower is huge Try it, you’ll love it!

Stayed here for one night while driving along the coast Location is great, you can walk to the beach and nearby restaurantsI was excited about having a morning coffee on the rooftop, but they don’t allow entry outside the working hours of the bar, so it’s not accessible until noon or after 9pm

Valet parking is unfortunately mandatory, however it’s included in the price so some people might like it Crew was niceRoom was good, big and quiet, however the water pressure was somewhat weakI paid over $400 for a night, which didn’t even include breakfast, and the one thing I looked for (rooftop view) was closed, so I think the price is too high for what you get

GREAT HOTEL AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEMy husband and I recently stayed one night at the Hampton Inn and Suites San Luis Obispo The hotel is conveniently located with lots of parking The staff is friendly and responsive, the place is clean as a whistle and the breakfast offerings, although simple, did not disappoint

We had a problem with noise in the parking lot during our stay, which is very unusual in our experience with Hilton hotels We spoke with the temporary manager Zack M in the morning and explained the problem to him He was extremely concerned and responsive and went 100% of the way to make sure that our stay was satisfactory All the way around we had an excellent stay and even more importantly, excellent customer service from this hotel

Yosh A.

Great stay No issues other than the lack of daily room cleaning They really need to bring it back

Daily cleaning is much better than we weekly deep clean Ppe in an unoccupied room makes COVID transmission nearly impossible So there’s really no reason not to clean rooms daily Unless they’re just trying to get rid of house keeping in general

Hampton Inn has vastly improved in the past 5 years to the point where I am actually impressed lately This one is not impressive Room was newer than my colleagues had on floors 1-2

Staff – super super friendly Unfortunately missed my diamond status and talked me down from an upgrade on day 1, although I had a higher class room for days 2-3 I am sure it was because they missed my status They apologized on day 2 when I said I wanted to keep my room…Not clean Very dusty above 5’4” Floors wet when I several hours after I arrivedFront counter pantry out of stock of everything frozen except burritosAir conditioning couldn’t keep up at all during the 75-85F days Then super cold by morningNumber of Stays: oneRoom: King Suite, first floor, 334June 2022As a frequent business & leisure traveler, I’ve decided to go back through the years and review the properties I stay at most Hilton (Diamond) Marriott (Titanium Elite) This is my first in this effort

The General Manager was amazing Very sweet, friendly and helpful Even when all her staff called in she worked a 12 + hr day and was still very kind

the room was nice, my only complaint is i had a small old TV in the room I was told that the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors have updated TVs so i recommend those rooms The spa and pool have an AMAZING view specially at sunset!

Jessica Tuck

Location is convenient and breakfast and breakfast staff were wonderful However, upon checking in we were not notified that the carpets were scheduled to be cleaned We came back to our room with our luggage and things thrown all over the beds

The carpet was so wet it sloshed when we walked and we had to soak it up with towels We brought our stuff out to the car before even going to sleep because we didn’t want it to get soaked being on the floor The air conditioner made terrible noises and kept us up all night We brought this to the attention of the staff and they just shrugged and kept doing what they were doing

Nice hotel in a great location that is within walking distance to plenty of places to see and eat, including the downtown area The pool and outdoor area has a beautiful view and in the morning they serve a nice hot breakfast The actual room felt a little outdated and you can hear the people in the room next to you (their TV mostly)

It also did not feel the cleanest, like maybe they forgot to vacuum because I saw hair and other crumbly-like things when I arrived They do ask all guests to wear masks while indoors and social distance Overall, a decent value for location and amenities

Steven Bessette

I would recommend this hotel to any and everybody I showed up to hotel with a large tour bus From the minute i got there they were very friendly and accommodating

Jenny gave me some parking options, witch for a driver was so helpful As for the property itself Wow! Great place Thank you Jenny and Lauren You two where amazing

Staying here now When we got to our room after a five hour drive, we had no toilet paper at all The phone in our room didn’t work to call the desk to get some, so went down to tell them

They handed me two rolls and said they would have someone come look at the phone No one came One bed literally looks like it has food stains on it The chair has a dirty used napkin on it that did not come from us The hallway is freezing I will never stay here again It seems barely cleaned I don’t get the feeling anyone wants to help The pool area is incredibly dark too It’s about 20 minutes walk from anywhere Parking is $15/day which was surprising It doesn’t seem very secure either I’m a little shocked

Room was clean and a nice size The bathroom area was very nice and large; double sinks with lots of counter space and a large shower Staff was friendly and efficient

We were celebrating an anniversary and they set up the room special for us upon arrival The location is a good walk away from the heart of the town, but it was a safe and enjoyable walk Breakfast is up and running again with a pancake machine, microwave breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice options The pool and jacuzzi were clean We did have a problem with getting the jets in the jacuzzi working, but I saw them working the following day, so I guess it was user error I would recommend La Cuesta Inn for a stay in San Luis Obispo

Most important thing first: I would discourage you from trying this place if you are chronically ill, disabled, elderly, young (talking to you, friends of college students! Dodge this bullet and sleep on their floor) People of color be wary, as management is liable to call the police if they don’t like your “tone

” Also, not COVID-19 safe (front desk didn’t even wear masks)Now for the review: Two awful experiences here, one as a neighbor and one trying to get a room for a friend (in town for cancer treatment) The first experience, I came past with a friend on a walk and sat down for a water break at the edge of the parking lot–dude came out and got really aggressive telling us to leave Second time the front desk was sort of friendly, albeit condescending, until they found out my friend was disabled–then threatened to call the cops if we didn’t leave (We told him to go ahead, but they never showed) Same guy both times, I believe, though the incidents were a year or more apart Overall, this establishment is NOT safe for any travelers who are ill/disabled, elderly, young, or people of color Would also not recommend to women, especially traveling alone Probably safe if you are in middle age, White, and appear very affluent–just don’t try checking in with grandma I can’t imagine the noise from the highway makes for a good night’s sleep, either, and that’s pretty much the only view available Also note that the parking lot is partly down a steep hill (and, I was told, if you can’t walk up it on your own, you won’t be allowed to get a room) Visit went from not-friendly to openly hostile; I even avoid it on my ladies’ walks Nothing in reception but a bowl of mints Place used to be a whole lot better, but that must have been a decade ago

Marc Seely

Pros: good free parking (pro tip: drive around to the garage underneath the hotel), friendly staff, free yummy chocolate chip cookies, free water bottles, nice little clean swimming pool with fun floaties for the kids, descent free breakfast with pancake machine, oatmeal, bananas, pre made breakfast sandwiches, and packaged pastries etc As for the room it was a good size, cute little balcony, had a fridge and microwave, was clean, big bathroom with a trick nightlight that automatically turns on at night when you walk in Good water pressure too

The location was good with easy access to the highway and not far from downtownCons: the bed was very uncomfortable and way too soft for our liking Pillows were small and lumpy The air conditioner was super noisy and didn’t work all that well Because of those two things we wouldn’t stay here again The room key wouldn’t let us in the exterior doors and we often had to walk around to the lobby just to get in We even swapped keys and had the same problemOverall we had a good time Unfortunately because of the poor sleep we won’t be back

The Cliffs is extraordinary! A staycation within its premises We stayed in a beautiful king suite room, well polished and very clean Upon arrival you are greeted with free valet service and free welcome wine glass

Outside in the courtyard is a decent size pool and beautiful views from atop the bluffs overlooking the Pacific To the right there are stairs that lead you to a public but very secluded beach Hotel staff is more than accommodating and had a very relaxing stay My wife took advantage of the day spa located on the first floor Would stay again!

Love and Peace

We had a wonderful short gateway on 4th of July weekend at the Cliffs Hotel and Spa Everything was simply perfect from the gorgeous ocean view from our balcony to tiny but precious details such as rubber duck for the bathtub enjoyment The staff was very friendly and helpful

Literally every member of the Cliffs team went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it can be We did not spend time on the pool but instead we enjoyed the gorgeous beach with a breath taking view, which located down the steps The hotel has a Marisol restaurant where we dined in for 3 evenings We love the view, the service and the menu As vegan, I am never sure if I would be eating anything exciting when I go to a new place Marisol met my expectations ! We highly recommend The Cliffs Hotel and Spa – we had great time staying there and we will be coming back for sure

Jodi Fleming

Everything about our long weekend stay at the Cliffs Resort and Spa exceeded our expectations! Beautifully appointed and spacious room, lovely pool and jacuzzi, incredible ocean views, walking trails to small beaches, an oceanfront lawn with entertainment and plenty of chairs and tables to relax in! Our afternoon at the spa was delightful! My esthetician was so accommodating at my every request and made me feel and look amazing My daughter’s massage was the best she ever had Dinner at the restaurant was scrumptious, front desk staff and valet were so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this beautiful property for your next stay in Pismo!

Room 304 was great until the sinks and bath tub clogged up in the middle of “our” night Front desk was very nice and was able to accommodate us with the vacant room next door I highly recommend this hotel and this room (when plumbing is fixed)

It has a great balcony view and the king beds were beyond perfection One of the best night sleeps I have had in a long time The wife was also happy about that Will be back

Veronica Cortez

Booked an ocean view room for one night Checked in through text and received a text that our room was ready earlier than check in time Definitely a plus since we got in early

The lady at the front desk was super nice and quick The view was great The room was clean overall The bench at the foot of the bed was dirty but I just set my stuff there didn’t sit on it The fridge wasn’t cold enough, we just kept our stuff in our ice chest We liked the fire pits available, we got to enjoy the sunset from there I would stay there again

Tom Scott

I called ahead for an early check in I only had a small window of time because I was coming from a wedding and had to run back to it I was told that there would be no problem getting in by 3 PM

When I arrived at 3pm, the front desk told me that there were no rooms available When I pressed the issue and told them about my call, a room was made available, room 132 I was checked in and told about your no smoking policy When I went to the room, it was definitely not ready at all and reeked of marijuana So I hurriedly went back to the front desk and told them Another room was made available, room 202 When I arrived at the room, I saw cleaning towels on the bathroom sink When I opened the cabinet underneath, there was a pile of dirty towels Cleanliness is high on my list of priorities when I choose a hotel When I see things wrong in that area, I can only assume that there are many other things that I can’t see The lady at the front desk was nice, but the staff in general seemed to be in disarray This was my first time using your hotel and will be my last

I stayed here for 3 nights Hamed is hands down the kindest, most genuine, and most helpful person I have ever interacted with in a hotel Checking in at 1am I was greeted with a warm smile and welcoming demeanor

He made sure that all 3 nights of my stay at the Kinney were an absolute delight Anything that I needed during my stay, he was glad and eager to accommodate 5/5 would stay here again just because of the wonderful staff

KeaganPlays

Welcome- 5/5: Was easy to book for a last minute trip The lobby person at night was SUPER nice They informed us some tips for our stay in SLO

Room- 3/5: our room was a small room with 2 beds Was very clean and nice except that it was very noisy and dirty on the floor It looks like someone took a tiny poop on the floor which sis honestly disgusting but the floors were super thin you could feel the furniture shaking if someone walks in your room and you can hear upstairs too It was very cold out there and the heater was great!😊Location and entertainment- 5/5: a little walk to downtown won’t hurt and it is very nice out there The hotel also has Leroy’s Leroy’s had a few games and those were nice but thank you to the girl that works in night in the lobby she literally fixed 1 game and made drinks for everyone who orderedOverall- 5/5: great hotel I do recommend it especially the pool it’s very nice

Rachel Stephens

This hotel was a renovated Holiday Inn Express that had been changed over to The Kinney, a Hilton Tapestry collection property This place has potential because they’ve done a great job decorating and having a fun game area Staff is pleasant

– RESORT CREDIT -Because of our status, we had $30 / day resort credit Unfortunately due to staffing issues their restaurant & bar were closed except for Saturday morning breakfast Sunday night they had beer & wine only We ended up using one of the resort credits on a bottle of champagne, although it was a cheaper brand than was listed on the menuIt was hard to use the resort credit when I have Celiac disease and our waiter said that even the eggs have gluten (which makes no sense) We ended up having to get 4 cappuccinos on the last day to use our resort credit- NOISE-While it looked cool and they did a good job on decorating, as well as having a fun game area for adults, the walls were SO thin and the curtains didn’t blackout the sun in the morning The curtains are actually too short, so sunlight streams throughPeople who don’t know how to close a door and just let it slam behind them were common and it literally shook the entire room every time it happened It felt like the building was going to collapse when the doors slammed which made me wonder if there is something structurally wrong with the buildingThe older I get, the less patience I have for kids who scream and go wild in public (It’s a good thing that I don’t have kids) In the morning, some little kids were making so much noise banging on stuff and screaming next door that I was able to yell, from my bed, at them to quit making noise I know they heard me because the noise instantly stopped for a few hoursYou can hear staff on their two-way radios at like 7 AM, and on the weekend I don’t want to be up so early due to noise I don’t know how they can soundproof, but this building needs it- MAINTENANCE -I let staff know that our mirrored closet door wouldn’t close The tub spout was also loose and pieces of grout were missing in the shower, which may explain the water damage on the walls There was stuff peeling around our ceiling in our room as wellI also had to take a bath with a rag stuffed in the drain because it was missing a stopper I mentioned it to the front desk and the staff pulled a stopper out right next to the desk She said they have a problem with people stealing the stoppers? Very strange issue- CONCLUSION -This could potentially be a cool hotel if it was an adults only place and maintenance issues were fixed, but as is, I probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the thin walls and doors that make the rooms quake

Beautiful, new rooms The bar is exceptional with creative cocktail selectionsThe electrical situation in the room is odd

I tried charging my portable charging unit and after a while it would just stop charging until I unplugged and plugged it back in Shower water pressure in our room was very low No blackout shades for the window/sliding glass door, which made sleeping more difficult for meOverall, it’s very nice and I would stay here again

this hotel is possibly one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed It’s gorgeous, and in an unbeatable location right in downtown SLO We stayed for two nights and were easily able to get a very late check-out our last day, so we could sleep in, eat some room service, and go for a last dip in the pool! the room was gorgeous- huge and airy, with a fantastic bathroom and really beautiful contemporary design

We also brought our dog- this place is seriously dog-friendly, and she sat with us while we ate, sat by the pool, and was super comfortable in the room when we left her We will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely little dog friendly hotel/motel in SLO Our first trip here me and my pup The grounds are sweet with a nice porch for lounging on and mountain view

Every morning they had a very substantial continental breakfast with excellent coffee! Breakfast room was decorated with fun art of dogs on the wall In the afternoon if you want to take your wine on the porch they have a few crunchy snacks for accompanying as well as newspapers I was in room 117 which is right in the front I has no issues with street noise but I did have AC on But it was never noisy during the day The room was pristinely clean and serviced every day (don’t forget to tip your room attendants each day you are there!!) Mattress was so good I was interested in finding out the brand of it I called up there and Oscar at the front desk went out of his way to go to the room and take a pic of the mattress tag and text it to me Everyone there was very nice and helpful but had to give Oscar a special shout out for going the extra mile Lastly the price was extremely reasonable for my room and my dog rate I can’t wait to return and next time I will stay longer Thanks so much

I got neck pain by sleeping on it Only go if you need a stopover inn (like I had to) and getting a super cheap dealAt least offered breakfast which was average but a good deal Car can be parked right outside room Bad bed caused the rating to be a 3

Absolutely love this place! This hotel is perfect for self-sufficient travelers There’s no front desk–they just text you codes for the front door and your room I never expected how nice it would be after a long drive to just go straight to my room, rather than dealing with check-in

Beyond that, the place is gorgeous My room was spacious with excellent bedding and a fabulous shower & toiletries There’s a shared living room area that was very cozy We spent mornings sitting on the couch drinking coffee and listening to records What a great way to start the day! There’s also a nice shared wet bar area that has excellent coffee, very fancy teas, a bottle of complimentary wine, as well as some additional treats that popped up now and then What a great home base for our trip to SLO!

Came to SLO for my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay at The Butler Hotel This was a new type of stay for us as there is no front desk, however once we walked in we immediately understood that this property was special and didn’t require one They email and text you the code to the front fore and the code to your room

Upon walking in we were shocked at how nice everything looked and the attention to detail with the design There was a bottle of wine and local treats on the bar, and cute little reading/sitting area, and the interior design was amazingAs for the room, we loved the tall ceilings, lighting, and bathroom design Everything just seemed to flow wellI would definitely recommend this place!

There’s a reason this place gets almost all 5 star reviews- it’s honestly perfect If there was a rooftop pool I’d want to move inIt’s definitely different

If you love the experience of staying at a hotel, this might not be for you If you want the feel of an AirBnB with the hotel touches, this is the place If you like great design, thoughtful touches but don’t want to interact with people, this is the placeThere is a contactless check-in, you simply punch in your special code The bar area is set up with complimentary wine in the afternoon and a nice continental breakfast spread in the morning (little Danishes that tasted so fresh, muffins, fruit, etc) There is a lounge area with beautiful seating, a record player with great albumsWe stayed in Room 4 and the bed was so comfortable The bathroom was clean and spacious Every detail is well thought outThe main area was a bit warm during the day with a large fan running, but our room was perfectly ACedWe took advantage of the bikes and cruised around the downtown area, all the way to Madonna Inn and to the SLOMA We also sat outside in the morning with our coffees, which you can prepare with the french presses set up in the kitchenI don’t have plans to be in SLO again, but if I did, I would 100% stay here againKelly was The Butler and so helpful with any questions we had Thanks Kelly!

WE LOVED OUR STAY! My mom and I spent 3 days/2 nights at this hotel for a mother-daughter weekend getaway We stayed in the Premium Double Queen Room with Fireplace The room was absolutely beautiful – it was bright, spacious, modern, and minimal

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the whole room was spotlessly clean Our room was quiet; we didn’t hear anything all night The staff was warm and welcoming, and the scones and coffee that were delivered to the room each morning were delicious and a wonderful, personal touch Downtown SLO was very close (5 min drive) so the location was ideal without being in the middle of the nighttime/bar crowds I would 100% recommend staying here and I hope to be back one day!

Excellent location for our needs with local charm, but not without flaws I read reviews and was expecting a very basic inn There are some cute touches, but the creature comforts are lacking for the pickier traveler

The bed really seems smaller than the advertised queenI have a queen and slept on a queen the following city The very firm tiny mattress was fine when I slept on my side – so more an issue of size not comfort I did bring some of my own extra plush blankets to ensure I was warm enough Pillows were subpar The shower had extremely low or close to zero hot water pressure, but the bath tile and sink appeared to be updated in the last decade I washed my hair in the sink with cold water We did visit the restaurant and they seemed to be challenged with not enough qualified staff Pancakes and eggs were good enough, but coffee was not to my liking Lobby coffee and tea were a nice touch, with a slightly better brew in the lobby I did get a text about free wine, but I was not able to enjoy it A pleasant surprise was the two-person hot tub which was awesome after hiking and biking for two dayswe did also get a kick out of the nightly frog serenades Some of the car engines could be heard early but the benefit of a single story was no audible hotel door slamming or heavy-footed neighbors Phoenix in the lobby was very friendly upon check-in

Took a short trip to SLO for a concert Booked a stay at the Apple Farm Inn Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprise how lovely the grounds of the surrounding area were

Upon checking in, we were given fresh cookies and tickets for free wine tasting in the Apple Farm Cellar They also offer coffee, tea and warm apple cider in the lobby after 5pm Although the buildings seem older the interiors of the rooms were upgraded with great thoughtfulness to comfort and convenience The the room was well situated and bed was very comfortable with crisp clean linens Although our room was close to the street, literally right off the highway, relatively little noise could be heard from inside our room In the morning we had breakfast at their restaurant The coffee was great and our breakfast was delicious! We will definitely plan to stay there on our next trip! They offer great rates as well Give Apple Farm Inn a try

Ron Mellen

We showed up on Thursday night with no reservation The hotel was pretty much sold out We had a very nice, helpful man named Steve trying to find us a room

Not only did he get us in, but our rooms were spectacular We were two couples and we wanted to stay one more night and we were able to keep our same rooms with the great juggling the hotel desk did to get us covered I love this place and will definitely come back again soon

Usually you can expect consistent accommodations with an embassy anywhere you book Very disappointed with this property Room was was rundown and dated

As we entered, the room smelled stale, the carpet had rips, popcorn ceiling was peeling Bathroom was tiny and didn’t feel clean Toilet has stains in bowl 2 nights at this hotel We made the most of the first night Returned to our room for the second night to go straight to bed and leave early A dog in a room nearby was barking – a small dog so it was a constant YAP! We called the front desk to report and all they could do was send security to investigate The front desk was barely apologetic and said there wasn’t anything they could do because of the pet policy It was as if they had a scripted response and confided the pet policy has only caused more trouble than good After an hour of trying to sleep through the yapping, I called and asked to be moved to another room The last thing I wanted to do at 11pm was pack up and relocate for the night They were a little ore sympathetic in person when we walked down to the front desk but you could tell it was an uncomfortable situation as they were not even permitted “by policy” to contact the guest via cell phone to let them know the dog they left in the room was barking and poor dog was upset So horrible We were relocated to the back of the hotel backing up to the freeway Guess the consistent freeway traffic buzz was less painful than the yapping dog Very disappointing

No issues during this stay! Room was well kept and clean Carpet appeared a bit older and was worn but I wouldn’t say as bad as other coastal hotel/motels nearbyBreakfast at Embassy Suites never disappoints

The omelet bar is always a treat! Warmed food is always replenished and fresh Lots of variety for all appetitesLounge and Atrium area has many live plants and is so beautiful just to sit and relax especially during cocktail hour

C. Young

I appreciated the free hot breakfast and evening happy hour… so rare these days!Fitness center was sufficient, but uncomfortable if there’s more than one other person in thereRoom was comfortable enough, but I couldn’t figure out the thermostat so temperature was inconsistent Couch was oddly positioned so the chaise was right in front of the door; you have to open the door really wide so you can walk around the chaise to get in and then walk back around to close the door

Hotel is in a shopping center, so it’s close to food, everyday shopping necessities, and plenty of parkingThere’s a free (very slow) EV charger a few buildings down, if you need one I’d plug in early in the morning while I worked out/shower/breakfast and that would get me enough charge to do errands around town and some sightseeing nearby There’s a supercharger across the street at Madonna Inn if you need something fasterOverall I had a pleasant stay

We had reservations at a near by motel that was way below our standards so we called the courtyard and the manager was very accommodating and set us up right away The staff are all very nice There is a Starbucks inside the lobby

The rooms are clean and comfortable and again the staff are all so friendly Pool area is great as well

Adriana Berrios

Always feel welcomed atmosphere is great Love the fact that they had the pool man come right before 10 to make sure the pool was clean and to see what treatment needs to be done Room was clean the shower still had hair but that could have been washed down

The shampoo and conditioner I’m so pleased they had Paul Mitchell tea tree but the body wash was empty so i didn’t even use My main complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable i didn’t get a good night’s sleep kept moving to re adjust That’s the main reason why we get a room for sleep I have stayed at multiple Marriott hotels and always comfortable

I would not recommend booking the Fabulous Fifties room 118 There is considerable water damage, moldy/wet carpet and the shower faucet drips consistently Upon notifying the staff of the water damage, annoying dripping faucet and wet carpet, they confirmed they were already aware of the issue with the room; so that was disappointing to hear that they already knew of the issues but continued to allow bookings for a damaged room and charged full price but discounted the $35 resort fee on a $200-300 room

The staff was nice but clearly the property is not being kept up and managed to the best of their ability for what you would expect they are charging Luckily we only booked the one night stay as the room was unacceptableThe breakfast and service were excellent but the sweater I purchased from the gift shop is already coming apart at the seams and I only wore it once I tried it on in the gift shop and it left white debris all over my shirt so I felt obligated to purchase the sweater to hide my now dirty black shirtI’d consider going back for the food at the copper cafe but probably won’t book another room stay as I was disappointed at the underwhelming quality of the room and buyer beware of the poor quality of gift shop apparel Great food and staff was nice but not worth the room rates overallTo respond to the owner’s reply below Please locate my contact info within your guest registry for Room 118 for April 2022 I do not feel comfortable posting it publicly on this platform and you did not supply me with an email to contact you directly Thank you

This is a great place to visit just to marvel at the decor I only stopped in to walk through and have a drink at the bar, I did not visit the restaurant or stay in one of the rooms There is no cost to get in the door and wander around, but the cost of whatever you buy in the gift shop or at the bar will make up for it

Still it is fantastic to walk through and admire the woodwork, photos, and everything else that makes this place truly unique Hope you like pink!

Charlie Calabrese

The rooms and the grounds are amazing! Absolutely over the top Camp, you won’t be disappointed We also had drinks and ate at the steak house, which were really great as well My only complaint is that it’s not as pedestrian friendly as it should be – to walk from the restaurants/bar up to the rooms was an experience in itself (huge hill and competing with cars)

A nice pedestrian only walk way would be really amazing and make this place even better
