The hotel is in a scenic, and quiet location It’s nice that you have access to the other Red Jacket Resorts along the Ocean so you don’t have to pay for parkingThe only rooms I have stayed in have been on the second floor

They are spacious, and look out onto the pool area which is nice The downside of the rooms here are they are pretty outdated, and I really noticed my last visit The bed was uneven and uncomfortable which caused me to not get much sleep There is a mini fridge, but no microwave, coffee maker, or anything else a lot of people traveling want in their room

Shout out to Michelle at Vesta expertly slinging drinks and food to everyone We were happy to burn our food credits on delicious brick oven pizza and hang out by the fire in the courtyard The housekeeping staff was great tending to requests from our party of seven in adjacent rooms (a great perk with napping babies)

Everyone loved the saltwater pool and the location is very convenient Other great interactions with Matt and Jared at the front desk We would definitely stay here again

The staff at this Hotel is terrible They are rude and poorly trained You must ask for your $400 a night room to be cleaned

I travel frequently and was staying here for a funeral and wanted my bathroom and bedroom cleaned with fresh towels I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON GOOGLE BEFORE When I arrived back mid day the room was not cleaned When I alerted the front desk I got a curt response that they would send some towels and that “they would see if they could get to it” I told them about the funeral When we got back to our room hours later the room still had not been taken care of When I called the front desk to complain the young man offered no apology and actually hung up on me! I have never experience anything like it in 40 years of travel When I went to speak to him he said ” he was not responsible for listening to angry complaints” WOW! what a great staff DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE BEACHES THERE ARE OTHER GREAT BED AND BREAKFASTS AND HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT WERE BOOKED THAT WE WOULD HAVE USED BUT FOR THE UNTIMELY DEATHPS> I was supposed to receive a call from the manager about “Joey” who hung up on me–no call ever came

Friendly staff, clean but extremely outdated rooms Good location to access anything on rt28 It was the most affordable option when I booked only a few weeks ahead of time

The room had a chemical cleaner smell that lingered our entire weekend stay Interestingly, room service did not clean the room or replace supplies during the stay — I was able to obtain fresh towels from the front deskIf you stay here, don’t miss the lobby shop It’s full of treats imported from the UK and Ireland to keep on theme with the hotelIf you check photos and reviews, you should get a good sense of what to expect

Scott Greenleaf

This place is really fun, has plenty to do on premises, like indoor outdoor pools, 2 bars, and a restaurant They also have live entertainment It’s only minutes away from a few beaches

The rooms are just ok, could use a little update, they’re fairly good size with 2 beds and a little couch and kitchenette area And 2 tvs in the room

Eleanor Alves

I was a chambermaid here back in high school and I graduated in 1985

it appears they haven’t remodeled since then Dank, dreary, carpeted halls, smelling strongly of cigarette smoke and the room was totally dated, run down and it could be cleaner, for sure! I booked this off season, to return to the Cape after my Mom passed away two months ago, to do some grieving and having personal rest and relaxation However, when I checked in, I realized that I had made a huge mistake and it wasn’t going to be the experience that I had hoped But, I disinfected every surface and locked myself in at 4pm I have to make the best of it Don’t stay here!

Had a really great stay with my kids I love that you can use the amenities at the nearby RJ resorts as well We spent a week here with the only complaint being there was no microwave in the room

Staff was friendly, food was great, everything was clean, and it was not overcrowded Will stay again! Gabriel and Antonio(in Jonah’s pub) were awesome!

R DL Reyes

Excellent resort and very friendly staff Two pools, indoor and outdoor plus a private beachfront and beach chairs Overall a well maintained resort

Only negative is the very narrow parking spaces They just haven’t kept up with the times that cars are being made wider

Donna Troiano

I can’t rate the resort because I wasn’t able to stay They say it’s pet friendly, so I booked a great ocean front room I have official Emotional Service Support documents for my cat, but was told when I called to confirm, that they don’t honor them

Got charged a cancellation fee which I feel should be waived since they turned me away and lie about being pet friendly

Lovely hotel but the owner is a complete nightmare Just like all the reviews about she is rude and condescending We had been going to this hotel for 6 years and this year after checkout at 11am we were told we needed to leave the property

We had already checked out and returned all towels and lawn chairs We told the front desk that in years past we have been allowed to hang at the beach for the day The lovely woman at the front desk said that would be ok So we headed to the beach and were the only ones down there for an hour Then out of nowhere the owner Sandy came down to the beach and screamed at us all to leave I have never been spoken to in such a manner She called us all low life liars and we were not welcome back She said there was no room at the beach for us with new guests arriving (…ok?) We were the only ones out on the beach the whole weekend so not sure what the problem was We paid for 7 rooms for the weekend spending thousands of dollars and being forced off of beach on a beautiful Sunday on the cape seemed slightly unreasonable to say the Least We had zero complaints all weekend from any other guests or workers until she arrived There are plenty of nicer hotels on the water with more respectable owners

Autumn Marie

The view, the VIEW is amazing Wireless connection in this concrete building is terrible GONE are your chances of getting any work done or checking email, streaming your favorite music to get you in the mood for a big day exploring, making dinner reservations or uploading all of your daily vacation photos to your social network (or cloud storage) of choice

Clean rooms and friendly staff Unplug, come for the view & great beach location!

What a lovely place! The rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully decorated the check-in process was very easy The owners and staff are very gracious and accommodating There were eight in our party and we arrived well before the 3 o’clock check-in hour

We had a toddler with us and we inquired about using a bathroom so some of us could use the pool and they were able to get some of our rooms ready early The pool area was great and the grounds are beautiful! Great central location I highly recommend The Escape Inn

Jennifer Hoagland

We stayed here for a week, and from the start the rooms and property are very well kept Extremely clean rooms Hardwood floors soo nice

The pool is just perfect! Clean, many nice lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas It was completely booked, but very quiet, and peaceful The owners couldn’t be nicer people The continental breakfast was very nice, bagels, breads, sweets, hard cooked eggs, yogurts, fresh fruit, coffee, teas, juice etc Short drive to beaches Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for that cape cottage vibe!

Julia Fitzgibbons

So much good to say! The rooms are clean and homey, and the check in process is literally effortless with digital keypad locks Rooms are quiet, and have a great selection of streaming services on TV Love the location in the center of the cape, especially with a homemade Icecream shop next door

The Pet Friendly Hampton Inn & Suites is a solid choice for families traveling with their pet The Hotel is clean, comfortable, and welcoming It also provides a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the evening

What more can you ask?The only downside is exiting the hotel on route 28 It can be challenging with cars speeding by on both directions with no traffic light

Jessica Miller

After having a bad experience at another hotel close by and traveling over 5 hours, we walked into the Hampton Inn & Suites to be greeted so kindly from Elissa She went above and beyond to make us feel relieved, and helped us book a 3 night stay very last minute The hotel staff was wonderful and willing to help us feel welcome! The room was very clean and the stay was quiet and comfortable

Sarah Soller

Super friendly staff and excellent amenities They were really sweet and accomodating to us, especially my six-year old daughter We alsp loved making s’mores by the pool and the grilled pineapple! Clean rooms, loved the available toiletries if you forget anything, and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic breakfast buffet and unlimited coffee refills! Also, what a great location to get to restaurants and the downtown Hyannis Main Street area

Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay here this weekend We had an oceanfront king and wow – truly oceanfront! Could walk right out to the beach The bed was very comfortable and while the room was a little dated, everything was functional

Food onsite was delicious, as were the bar drinks Resort staff was super friendly and helpful We will be back!

Lee Kyler

Family of 5:Pros:- Excellent location, close to just about everything, including Skippers, the best seafood meal I’ve ever had;- My kids loved the pool (they’re young and don’t know better);- All the staff were super friendly!Cons:- The price is not at all commensurate with the quality;- The bathtub did not drain;- My feet were dark after walking on the carpet in the room, which was very small;- The air conditioner was dusty and I could not adjust the thermostat;- The furnishings were old and out dated;- The room smelled and felt dirty;- The pool, while nice, was way too crowded and very dirtyOverall, for the $400/night we paid, I would not ever stay here again I would put it into an AirBNB

MiKayla Thomas

This place was a last minute booking on a weekday in order to extend our Cape vacation one more day We got lost trying to find it amongst the strand of RJ properties, but found it eventuallyThe room was clean but definitely dated and not a luxury resort by any means

Bed was okay, could be better could be worse Absolutely LOVED waking up and being able to walk right out of the room and onto the beach I got up early and slept on the chair by the beach and just listened to the waves, it was so peaceful By 9 am there were so many families with loud children I had to get up and leave It’s fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but just be warned! I can’t imagine how busy and crowded it gets on weekends/warmer summer days

First time to this area and we loved the hotel It was close to ferry, shops, restaurants and essentials The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, and enough space for 3 of us to place our luggage and still have ample room to move around

Shower had good pressure and shelving space We were on second floor and the small balcony gave a nice view of foliage and pond in the back Nice fire pit and seating area in back also Never had a problem parking there Would recommend this hotel

Eileen D

Highly recommend! Staff was very friendly and accommodating Room was very clean and comfortable! The beds and pillows were really nice We got a good night’s sleep on them

The inn seemed to be full while we were there, yet there was no bothersome noise at night The bathroom was spacious There was a little deck with a nice view We’ve gone to other nearby motels in the past but this one is by far the best! Will definitely come back here!

arleen k

This is a wonderful place By far the best place I’ve stayed at on the Cape I’ve stayed at more expensive places that don’t come close to the amenities, friendliness of the staff, or the location of the Cape Sands Inn

The rooms are comfortable and clean There are many amenities: each room has a walkout patio on the first floor or a deck on the upper floor with wonderful views of the waterway; a relaxing outdoor area with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, barbecue grill and bean bag game The room was very quiet and peaceful There was a coffee pot in the room with coffee, choices of tea and hot chocolate Also an iron and ironing board, and a good size refrigerator, and a dehumidifier They don’t serve breakfast but across the street is a wonderful place – I think it’s called Heavenly breakfast The food was delicious and reasonably priced The hotel’s indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub were clean and very relaxing Collette and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful We enjoyed every minute we were there and I highly recommend this Inn and the location

It’s a lovely location The views of the ocean are spectacular! And the room is nicely appointed The people who run the place are very friendly and accomodating

My one complaint is the noise level of neighboring rooms The people next door could be heard quite clearly through the walls Even with earplugs I could hear them I’m a light sleeper and love my peace and quiet

Jessica Chandler

We only stayed one night so probably didn’t get the full experience but the room was great It was comfortable and clean I really liked the breakfast nook in the room and the sliding doors that separate the bedroom from the living room

Only con was that the bathroom was small and hardly had any counterspace which would really only be a big deal for multiple-night stays

Megan Dykstra

After checking into another hotel and finding it absolutely disgusting (I will not be naming this hotel), my mother and I frantically called Ocean Club to see if they had availability Linda answered the phone and was absolutely amazing She sympathized with our situation and invited us to come to the hotel and look at 2 different rooms to see which one we wanted

The rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and spacious Ocean Club has forever customers out of our entire family from now on!

Really enjoyed staying here Motels have a negative connotation in my mind, but Veranda was nothing like that! Cute, updated, clean, lots of amenities It was a great combination between a hotel and an Airbnb

We had flexibility to come and go without having to walk through an entire hotel and lobby with the service- breakfast, more towels, pool, corn hole, outdoor dining spaces- of a great hotel The owners were kind and friendly and very personal, which I appreciatedI’d definitely recommend and would stay here again

yolanda brooks

We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms and they were amazing! The beds were comfortable, the pillows were a little soft but thats personal preference, the bathrooms are gorgeous! I liked that each little room had its own parking directly infront and a little table to eat if you wanted to bring your meal from a nearby restaurant Free continental breakfast in the morning was very welcoming and the pool area looks new as wellAll in all a nice hidden gem and I would return

I did not stay here I inquired about a room for a week and was told it was $750 then asked about 5 days and was again told $750 The Cape is not busy this time of year and yet the woman was extremely rude and acted like it was an imposition to answer me

However 15 minutes up Rte 28 we found wonderful accommodations with an indoor pool and hot tub I’m extremely glad for the complete and utter rude employee I spoke to

We recently held a family reunion at Red Jacket Beach Resort and I cannot say enough about our time! Our group was 33 people, ranging in age from 1-78, coming the West Coast, Midwest and MA, and we had the best time! The property had so much to offer for everyone; the pools were great, direct access to a huge private beach with a jetty and beach volleyball, bikes for exploring nearby and so much more The rooms good sized, and while a little dated (which you’d expect), were well appointed and very clean The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, the cleaning staff were thorough and kind, and the food and beverage staff were amazing! Food and Beverage manager Karen Rood and her team went above and beyond to accommodate us, and everyone was beyond impressed

I’m so thankful to Karen for all her hard work and planning/communication she did with me to coordinate  With a group our size, dining can be tough, but she arranged a wonderful private clambake for us, and everyone enjoyed the daily breakfasts (honestly one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever come across!) The poolside grill, bars, and online ordering from the kitchen – with delivery to anywhere you were on the resort- were awesome, and the staff was so friendly and hard working We were all really impressed and happy with everything and everyone at Red Jacket Beach Resort, and will definitely be back!

Stayed for a couple of nights in July and had an amazing time I read a bunch of the 1 and 2 star reviews and if you had such a problem with this place to leave a review like that you have to re-evaluate what you’re doing in life The huge staff was very friendly and always said hi or held a door for you

The breakfast buffet was well worth the package price The family room we got was really nice having the separate rooms Everything was clean The facilities were great 2 outdoor pools with a beach bar and an indoor pool The landscaping is impeccable Multiple activities for the kids every day like kite making, fishing derby, crafts, etc Free towels on the beach and the staff even comes out and sets up umbrellas for you! The location is great Not a thing to complain about unless you’re someone who goes looking for things to complain about

Josh Smith

Let’s start with pricing, this resort is way to overpriced for what you expect! The rooms are okay But not worth $400 a night! At the front desk there was a lack of information given to us about the resort and things around it etcThe service despite lack of info was great! The staff was kind and even held doors as well as helped

That is really all Staff is great! The location I would say is good for a beach resort The beach is amazing (despite the wind shooting little sand bullets at you which is out of their control I am aware)For the food I would recommend going to a local restaurant since there is a few The food is not as authentic as advertised In total I give this resort a 35/5 Good resort but to a certain point if you get what I mean Would a recommend ? 50/50

I visited for a wedding I was photographing in early June and I left completely sold on not just the Inn but the cape as a hold as it was my first visit to the area Lighthouse Inn is open and spacious and feel beautifully maintained from another era without lacking integrity Outdoors is where it shines for sure, right in the beach and coast to both sides as far as you can walk

The sunsets are also incredible Very much looking forward to another trip some time

We have not been here for many a year We celebrated our honeymoon there in 1968 (almost 54 years) and came back for our 25th The Stone family ran the Inn back then and as newlyweds, we were treated like royalty

We were probably the same age as a lot of the staff so that made it nice I am glad to read the recent reviews and to see how well it has continued its excellence May God Bless You

Lighthouse Inn was overall a great venue to host a wedding weekend We would do it again! What really made our weekend memorable was being able to have all of our guests stay onsite This allowed us to enjoy the grounds and spend time with our loved ones; we brought our own games in addition to what was provided by the Lighthouse Inn

The pool and beach were a huge hit for our guests It felt like a vacation with the side of a wedding, which is exactly what we wanted – not to mention, the food all weekend (rehearsal and reception) was outstanding!Reviews about different aspects belowRoomsTiana was outstanding! She was super accommodating, patient, and understanding as we had multiple room changes (especially getting close to the wedding due to COVID) The changes at times were complicated but she seamlessly updated the reservations The accommodations were great from houses to cottages to individual rooms The venue made sure to put our welcome bags in each room and if there was a problem, they responded promptlyPlanningBill & Carri were amazing! They were so sweet and helpful guiding us through the wedding planning process We were able to meet with them on several occasions in person and over the phone Coming from out of state, they truly made the process smooth and alleviated our stressesRehearsalCarri was great during the rehearsal; we had quite a few people to organize and she helped us rehearse quick! We had our rehearsal drinks and dinner at Lighthouse Inn and she wanted to make sure myself and my husband were able to get to the fun as quick as possible We did stations for the rehearsal and the food was fantastic!Day ofCarri helped make sure guests found their seats at the same time as coordinating the groomsmen and bridal party She was fantastic The day before the wedding, we gave her all of our décor with instructions on where it should be placed and everything was exactly where it needed to be! The ceremony went smooth and quick, like we wantedA minor issue we faced was moving from the downstairs to the upstairs and back down again during various parts of the night We knew this going into the wedding, so Lighthouse Inn isn’t at fault As well, the upstairs room was on the warmer side; it didn’t help there was no breeze that night!

Pros: Location is great Located right on the water /beach Beautiful scenery

Rooms clean and cute, they have recently been renovated Big common lawn to let your kids run crazy Decent pool Parking Cons: Gym closed , very annoying as my husband I I picked this hotel with that in mind, we need a gym Absolutely no sound proof in rooms I could hear babies crying at allHours of the day, dresser drawers shutting in room over and next room conversations And everything happening outside on the common lawn Walls are paper thin No service, you have to call to have trash emptied Fresh towels , tpee etc But they are good about bringing it Overall nice place, not a “resort” but very simple cute cape cod Just loud and no gym

Sam Gardner

The unit was spacious and clean Nice patio on the first floor that was very close to the beach Staff friendly and quick to attend to our needs

The gas fireplace was a plus I look forward to coming back here when the weather warms up I only wish the second bedroom had something other than twin beds Not ideal for additional couples traveling together because of the sleeping arrangements

Jenn Stephens

Person at check in was standing offish I had to ask the questions that most places go over with a guest when u check in and I felt that I was bothering her with my questions The entrance to the room was thru the bedroom and being winter we were tracking in salt and dirt

They should have supplied a rug or something Location was nice right along the water Not sure if I’d go backagain

We went for a couple of days, it is a very useful and nice place Safe, close to shops and restaurants just walking around Nice pools

Good variety Breakfast A very good relation between price and quality for this very expensive area Parking in the place One hour to providence and less than one hour to Martha´s vineyard by car Perfect to visit this area with a couple of teens The staff was so nice they took care of our baggage allowing us to visit the beach the second day We really appreciate it and if come back we will stay again here

R. Thomas

We chose this hotel because of its excellent ratings and very reasonable price We usually stay at chain hotels, and because of that and a very reasonable price, we had low expectations We were very pleasantly surprised and experienced fantastic customer service, from the owner, every front desk attendant, the head of maintenance, and the housekeeping staff

Everyone was very friendly, offering to help with bags and anything else including storing our bicycles in a secure location every night, and providing guidance on the local attractions Anyone who stays here will have a fantastic stay The facility is nice, clean, and in a great location to walk or ride a bike to all nearby attractions, the ferry, and restaurants We will definitely go back and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

Dawn Allen

If you are looking for a fancy 5 star hotel, this is not it However, if you are looking for a super affordable clean place to spend the night while you are in Hyannis, THIS IS IT The room was clean and comfortable in a great location, just a few minutes to walk to Main street

We were checked in by Cliff, the manager He was so friendly and offered lots of suggestions on places to go We encountered several housekeeping staff on our way to the room and they were all super friendly I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

My husband & I made a last minute decision to head to the Cape and found this gem! The location is ideal ~ overlooking the bay, not far from the commercial part of Yarmouth but simply relaxing The staff was so helpful, giving advice for a sunset dinner location & let me see their handicap room to see if it would accommodate my grandmother’s needsThe room was VERY spacious, private balcony overlooking the private beach, pool, lawn & shuffle board courts

It was very clean Although we were alone we thought what a great place it would have been to bring our kids when they were younger ~ We will definitely go back
