This place was great! My niece hosted a small birthday party here that went very well It was easy getting the girls ready for the pool The pool had access to a restroom across the hall, which we all know how that can go if the restroom isn’t close

Rachel made us feel right at home by being welcoming all while ensuring that we stayed within the guidelines of guest policies I appreciate it when someone in customer service can go above and beyond, maintain their composure, and keep safety in mind Thank you for helping make my niece’s day special

Seth Nichols

Clean rooms, but nothing special The service was excellent Everyone at the front desk was very polite and helpful

Even the cleaning crew was kind and respectful of privacy The location isn’t good if you’re trying to do/see anything interesting easily There’s a Circle K within walking distance and other than that, it’s just off the highway A good 20 minutes to downtown

Jennifer Tab

I usually stay at Holiday inn, it’s reasonable, I’m a member and it’s usually really clean This one was no exception You won’t be disappointed

They may be a little short staffed but everything looks good, the staff are friendly and very courteous The only reason I’m giving it four stars and not five is because breakfast is so expensive But I’ll be back since it’s kind of close to where we need to go when in town, lots of restaurants and shipping nearby

Excellent hotel! First time we have stayed with them and really was impressed The room was clean and tidy when we arrived The staff were great and the breakfast was fantastic! They even had a thing called dinner and drinks in the evening

Really enjoyed the stay Had to cut our vacation short and they were great helping us check out early

Becky Vickrey

This is THE BEST hotel! We came for Spring Break We were 17 minutes from Downtown and literally just off the interstate So, let’s talk about how amazing the staff here is

Man They were engaging with my kids The manager was very visible – not just sitting in an office The first night they were booked solid and they let us know that it would probably be busy for food The food served was amazing Always fresh and hot The servers were continually checking to make sure things weren’t low Everyone greeted us in the hall Maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, it made no difference I heard many say they love being here That says so much about the management I would go out of my way to stay here again

Kaitlyn Davies

A very nice hotel! I enjoyed my stay Fridges were a little small, I couldn’t put a leftover styrofoam box in without taking out the shelves and using them to keep the box from opening fridge door

Room and other parts of hotel smelled funky Kind of like a wet mold The food and the complimentary bar were great! Staff was very nice

I had a weekend getaway for my granddaughters and we all were VERY happy with the stay First of all the cookies are to die for My mouth is drooling now on the keyboard just thinking about them

The girls swam and slept like logs on the comfy bed in the room Sunday morning Porter’s the adjoining restaurant had a buffet breakfast filled with high quality tasty food both hot and cold Not to forget the Starbucks coffee or assortment of teas available Kudos to Kiele who provided top notch assistance in helping me at Porters We will return and I will probably fast first so I won’t feel guilty about eating the great cookies and Porters steak

Brittany Piggee

Property not maintained as well as it should’ve been Trash cans outside the hotel were full to capacity, sidewalks cracked, baseboards were filthy, lighting was horrible, chair in room had a white stain on it (kinda scared to know what it was), headboards were peeling, and the front desk clerk wasn’t very friendly If this place put more time and effort into the hotel’s rooms and hallways as they did in the front lobby, it would be 10x better

It’s definitely time for an upgrade The only thing that was comfortable was the bed We had initially planned to stay three nights, but quickly changed our minds once we saw the hotel and all of its flaws

Vanessa Shackelford

They gave us warm cookies and cold water at the front desk when we checked in The guy that checked us in was honestly really pretentious about us checking in 5 minutes earlier than what we said online Our first room was disappointing for the price we were paying

It didn’t have a refrigerator or a microwave (Personal complaint; all the soaps have lavender in them so I couldn’t use any of it because I’m allergic to lavender) the fan in the air conditioner was broke so it only got more hot in the room They did upgrade us to a room with a couch and fridge/microwave with working air conditioning but the unit was so loud that it woke us up every time it kicked on throughout the night Morning staff was much more pleasant than evening staff Also poor drainage in both bathrooms

i’m a truck driver and broke down in the area the company i work for put me overnight here during a repair the room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable

the bed was a tad firm in my opinion but nothing that would deter me nice hot shower, fantastic breakfast in the morning and a friendly staff check in and out was quick and easy and lots of places to eat within walking distance if you’re in the area, stay at the comfort inn

Mynah Howard

*writing this review on behalf of a family member*Was staying here for work, & they have taken over $2000 out of my bank account when our room was paid for up front Even after leaving this hotel, they decided to take over $1000 out again, and have told me they can’t “give it back” and that it’s just a “pending” charge? The money is not in my bank account, therefore it is not a “pending” charge Ridiculous

Absolutely do not stay here or you will get robbed Contacting corporate now

Stay far far away from this hotel The night staff were super nice and friendly but the room? Wow Electrical hazard, toilet isn’t stable, the sink counter is held up with two pieces of wood and piece of sheet rock on the other side

Look under the counter the plumbing is scary itself The tub? It’s something you’d see from 3 decades ago Need shampoo? Forget it, you’ll need to go up to the front desk to ask for it Book a room? Don’t count on getting it as you won’t get the room you bookedThen in your non booked room, the pull out couch? You’ll likely need to tear off the gross cover and hope there’s bedding otherwise you’ll need be back up at the front desk(luckily the manager was on site and happened be in the room notice they bedding wasn’t there) I strongly recommend you don’t look under the couch No one moves it to vacuum it Towels? We had towels but two of the towels had stains on them Don’t expect fresh pillow either The rooms are supplied with old pillowsNext let’s talk about the wash cloth hanger, yeah that was broken to the room really needed far more detailed cleaning then it gets The room didn’t have any smell bad as other reports stated prior to my review Breakfast? Breakfast was mediocre at best The breakfast area needs some attention as well as the equipmentI’m assuming the manager was who happened to be on site(05/28/2022) I will say she was super friendly and very customer satisfaction focused, along with the gentleman who checked us in I really enjoyed speaking to both as neither gave negative attitude or nasty attitude The manager also was taking notes and looked at things pointed out to herOverall, I won’t recommend anyone to this hotel but i again want to highlight the friendly night staff For the future, I hope they have name tags so that if I ever stay here again I may leave a better more positive review to hopefully mention them once again!

Room smells terribly like mold TV remote is sticky looks like it’s never been cleaned Shared with front desk that the room smelledlike mold

My wife and I love the service we’ve received from the staff! We had our wedding and reception here a few years ago and the staff helped to make such an enjoyable experience! I’ve always loved staying at Embassy Suites for their spacious suites but this location is certainly unique building structure, layout, and high ceilings The breakfast is great and they offer delicious cook to order omelettes The evening bar reception Is always a nice touch and the bartender was super friendly despite the number of guests that arrived all at once

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an enjoyable stay with friendly service!

Worst hotel ever High price No clean room service

Valets parking $42 per day Smelly carpet I found wet towel under dry towel Broken calling light fixture Dirty yellow big stain on standing lights fixtures The refrigerator door is not closed well Push the door very hard to close Couch was tearing All furniture colors are faded Very delayed all service Broken detergent machine when I needed laundry and hotel said the machine is not belong to us Go to dollar store So so dirty swimming pool water Whirlpool pool is broken and water temperature is not warm Let people still using it I don’t understand why this hotel has high reviews I feel like staying a ghost hotel

Jon Rustad

The room was very spacious for our family We also picked a room very close to the pool, on the fifth floor This worked out really well for going to the pool and coming back with the kids

The breakfast was good, my daughter and I went down early and had no weight When the rest of the family went down at 8 o’clock, there was a large line for food and it took about 20 minutes to get through it The front desk is very helpful Beware of parking, the valet overnight parking is $39 We chose to do street parking since it was free from 7 PM to 8 AM and you can use the app to pay for the spot before after that time There is a risk for street parking in a downtown metro area, but we felt safe with the area we were in and saved a lot of money!

Hotel is adjacent to a rough neighborhood but you’ll have that when you stay downtown in a large city Hotel itself is gorgeous and all of the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful I wish I’d have gotten the valets name from when we checked out – he was amazing

He was super kind to our pups and helped my hubby load the truck so we could easily continue on our adventure He also helped to check us out efficiently We will definitely stay here againOur room was well thought out, with a huge shower in the bathroom Beautiful furniture and a truly eclectic and welcoming vibe

I totally feel like I underpaid for this stay! What a nice hotel with amazing historic properties Loved the exposed ceilings and all of the Art Deco but modern touches The security was an added bonus, all the elevators needed the key card to go up to the floors

Beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean The large walk in showers were just exquisite! I will say that any modern hotel I’ve stayed in lacks hooks or bars in the bathroom Only one hook and one bar in the bathroomJust so you know, there is no self parking included here There are pay lots very close or street parking but the hotel only has Valet that was $30 a day We parked on the street the first night on Sunday since it was free, but the city starts charging at 8am Monday It’s all by the Park mobile app which was easy to use

Shylah Kunick

Pros: The views are awesome! There is an obvious level of attention to detail in the artistry through the entire hotel Most of the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially Luke at the front desk! The morning of check out we hung by the pool and that was the BEST experience we had at the hotel! We got lounge chairs and enjoyed the incredible city skyline The pool water was mostly clean and refreshing in between sun bathing

Cons: check in was at 3 and we couldn’t get our room until 7pm! I’ve never experienced this before at any hotel, much less a high end place We tried to enjoy the rooftop pool and bar while we waited but it was disappointing The place was packed with day pass people There was nowhere to sit and the pool was… Incredibly dirty I think someone puked in the water or something because yikes There was only one bartender and she was out of every single drink I asked for, including the ones advertised on her chalk board… she was way overwhelmed That was a 3 person job she was doing aloneRedeemed: after waiting for two hours upstairs, we finally came down to the lobby bar They comped our drinks, two each, while down there waiting for another hour They comped our valet, $30 also They still couldn’t get our room by 7 so they gave us an “upgrade” which took our regular king room to one with a sitting space We didn’t need that but we were glad to finally have access to a room to freshen up and unwind in!I can only assume the hotel is seriously understaffed right now, causing the struggles we experienced This seems to be a common problem these days, though Hopefully they can get it figured out because I think we would have really enjoyed the hotel otherwise!

The coffee in the rooms is not good The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great Took extra time to rinse off There are refrigerators in the rooms, but there was no freezer in the refrigerators I like that I can do laundry here

It looked relatively new, and with 3 bedrooms was spacious and friendly All household amenities were there in great condition A great way to welcome new presley to the base

My husband and I just got back from spending four nights at Fleur-de-Lys Mansion while visiting our son and daughter in law in St Louis We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The mansion is beautiful and elegant while also feeling warm and super comfy Our room “the Library” was very large and pretty and the bed and bedding were amazing Leslie and Mark were so welcoming and attentive The breakfasts were delicious and an absolute treat in starting our day This will definitely be our go to for future visits Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Robert Passman

My wife and I stopped at the Mansion on Sunday, March 20,2022 We stayed in the Reservoir Park room which was excellent The bed was a neat old 4 poster queen size bed from a bygone era

We missed that time It was very comfortable and we got a great nights rest The room was comfortable and quietThe location was close to a section of the town with a number of diverse restaurants to choose fromWe were met by Leslie, who together with her husband Mark run the Mansion She gave us a brief description of the Mansion and “it’s” life” from 1915 to the present It was very informative and added to the atmosphere of the MansionWe met her husband Mark for a few moments Mark is a true gourmet chef and served an excellent breakfast in the morning Even with a long day ahead we were very glad we didn’t leave before breakfastWe did arrive early enough to walk around a bit and the neighborhood has many homes with architectures you don’t see just anywhere We felt very good walking aroundWe did walk to dinner which was about 3/4 of a mile from the Mansion Many choices for cuisineIf we pass St Louis on our way home, we will definitely adjust mileage to stay againAlmost forgot – the Mansion is close to Interstate 44 It only took 2-3 minutes after getting off I-44 In the morning, it was another 2 or 3 minutes to get back on I-44

Deborah Calabrese

I had such a wonderful stay at Fleur De Lys Mansion this June Leslie and Mark are wonderful hosts ! They had the perfect balance of making me feel at home , yet very pampered The breakfasts were amazing, and they catered to my dietary needs beyond expectation

The inn is beautiful, and it is situated in a perfect area with beautiful neighborhoods, and parks in walking distance I had a great visit with my son ,and look forward to another stay at Fleur De Lys in the future

Patrick Mlynek

Overall, it was a nice, short stay It’s your average 3 star hotel Beds were comfortable and rooms SEEMED TO BE recently renovated (within a few years ago)

Breakfast was pretty good I’m not a huge breakfast person, so there’s that, but to me, it was pretty good Complementary omelets, bagels, waffles, sausage, potatoes and more! Only complaint is that the floor in our room was dirty (hence the 4 stars), but otherwise was extremely clean and neat Would reccomend staying for a night or a few The lady at the front desk was very kind and welcoming which was a plus! Nice modern, yet rustic themed rooms I didn’t check out the pool or business area, but they looked pretty nice Overall, it was a nice 1-night stay, for what was needed

Billee Runnels-Potts

The front desk staff check-in and check-out, was great, and friendly They made sure we had a wonderful stay Very clean

However the breakfast was not very appealing and the young lady who was working in that area was rude and not helpful when asked about breakfast option Instead of being greeted with a nice good morning she said “Just so you know we close at 10” We still had 15 minutes and there was not any hot food out As other guest arrived after us she sighed and rolled her eyes That is not the impression you want guest to have If I don’t eat in the mornings I can manage, but children are different and could have been accomadated in some way

Ross Walters

BUGS in the bed Swarming under the pillowsWe demanded a different room but still found the carpeted floor to be dirty and the room was musty smelling and reeked of disinfectant

It was raining outside and the parking lot was a giant puddle we had to walk through and unload the car in standing waterAfter getting home we had to wash & dry all our clothing and bedding to ensure we don’t bring bedbugs into our house We’ll leave the suitcases outside overnight and hope they’re bug freeWe’ll not stay at the Hampton Inn in Collinsville ever again I thought ‘Hilton’ was supposed to one of the better chains so we paid extra to stay there

Overall, the hotel is average but has the potential to be better The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous The room was adequate and clean when I arrived

The bed was well used and not very comfortable The air conditioner was controlled at the window as the wall thermostat was not working This made the room either too hot or too cold because the temperature was sensed at the window The television was older and freaked out when I tried hooking my laptop up it There are laundry facilities which are a little pricey, 225 a load for the washer and the dryer (450 total) There is a bar and restaurant The beer is an average bar cost, but the food is overpriced and not very good There is a lot of reliance on microwave reheating They serve breakfast at the cost of $10-$13 When you book your room you can get a breakfast package for your stay but the booking site is not very clear in how to do it It is nearby food and shopping options which helped I did have an issue getting my room cleaned I requested a cleaning, and somehow, it didn’t get noted, so I had to wait until the next day to finally get it cleaned Overall, the stay was fine; I would stay there again

Valerie Bailey

Hilton Garden Inns we’re amazing sadly though this hotel chain is left somewhere in 1990s The room was OK bed was lumpy Tried to get the sleep comfort system to work and it just didn’t

The AC unit was loud It would run loud then quiet down but seems when the cooling kicked in it rattled something awful It couldn’t seem to keep the humidity down so the towels always felt wet Bathroom lighting was a joke and the exhaust fan did little to unfit the mirror maybe took 15 minutes The bathroom heats up as the AC doesn’t quite make it that far Hotel carpeting is just ugly to look at room carpeting wasn’t much better patio furniture was old and dirty New cushions would greatly improve this area 100% Staff was really friendly and helpful as my key kept shorting out everyday I had to have them rekey it I didn’t have it by a phone only hey just kept dying Workout room is small but enough equipment to get a decent workout However it is hot a heck again no AC here the screens on the equipment aren’t working so you’ll suffer with a view to the pool or the wall take your pick All in all there are many hotels in the regency park many much newer and would probably be a much better stay for your money Hilton get on it and start updating your hotels Last thing no maid service for your stay for a week You have to get towels at the front desk This leaves you with towels piling up in your room No isn’t that nice If no more maid service OK the lower your prices or give me a free breakfast something to make me want to stay in a Hilton Till then I’ll search other hotels for something newer Sad what a great chain Hilton used to be

tonjand haleg

The hotel was average for the price point Was clean and in a safe area with a lot of great food choices nearby The best part of this place was the staff!! They did their best to accommodate your needs

The best part was the staff in the little bar they have on-site Xavier and Grace are the best!!! Handled lots of customers with a smile They deserve a raise!

Just a quick one night stay, but seemed really nice! On line booking and check in super easy! The room was large and updated 2 bed queen room (look carefully – a lot of hotels in the area are just doubles or full, not queens) Beds firm but I like them like that I thought was very comfortable

AC worked great Hot breakfast was great for a hotel hot breakfast I’d definitely stay on my way through again

Where to start, the hotel is on the freeway so much road noise you can’t fall asleep The lawns are over grown weeds everywhere The hotel is run down

The elevator is slow and the paint is all chipping off of it We are rewards members and one number on request is to no be by an elevator and they gave us the room across from the elevator Then our pullout bed had no bedding, went to call the front desk the phone didn’t work Went to the bathroom and the shower door was broken off the track Walked down to the front desk they did move us but horrible start Then we went to the pool, the ice machine was so rusted I would never use ice out of it The ceiling was peeling off just gross!

Clean and large rooms with comfortable beds Overall the building is well maintained and relatively new – my visit was in early 2022 Friendly and helpful staff

The hot breakfast was basic but hot and good It’s located off the interstate and easy to get to Very close to many restaurants I stayed for business and will be staying again

I’ve worked in the service industry for 24 years and interviewed and hired hundreds of candidatesI have to tell you I was on a Saturday night to Sunday morning shift I interacted with four people at the front, breakfast people and some housekeeping

There were sincere hearts of service so there’s good selection going on there in the interview process and it seems like a good culture coming from leadership here very good service at the front deskI have three kids and I come with my needs and I just got great service from everyone I interacted with todayI have to tell you this hotel is led well I directly interacted with the assistant manager Adam and shared my experience and his response to my positive review made me even more of a fan of this hotel If I need to stay somewhere in the St Louis area trust me you just became my first choice

Very clean, modern updated Hampton Rooms are a little larger and have the sliding bathroom/closet door If possible, pick a room facing the hospital and pond on the back

FYI there is good walking path around the pond Breakfast was a little below average for Hampton with the only fruit being red apples and no smoothies 4 out of 5 days was eggs and 1 day premade western omelettes with potatoes and sausage Waffle maker, yogurts and oatmeal available Front desk was friendly when there but personnel missing at times Great location for easy access to restaurants and stores Overall good stay and would stay again

The room was very nice, the location was very nice, the restaurants around the hotel were very very good, the housekeepers were very kind, and very loud! If you are getting up going to a job at 6:00 am it doesn’t matter, however at 9:00 a

m they all have key access to rooms but they put the stop latch in the door so they don’t have to use it therefore the door slams very loudly and if you imagine seven rooms open at one time and every time they go in each one they do that then there is no way you’re going to sleep after 9:00 am if you are there to rest We had it going on on the floor above us as well and we called the front desk to let them know and they said no one was in the room, meaning no guest, we later found out it was the housekeeper! Hotels who have housekeepers who are trained to be quiet but to be excellent are the ones who really thrive Outside of that the stay was excellent, I think if they just simply use their key access to get in rooms and consider that some guests may still be resting or babies resting as well, it will be a perfect stay for you Make sure you check out the restaurant “fire and smoke” next to it Excellent barbecue!

Clean!!! Staff is not bad, but there is this wonderfully nice manager type person She was so nice and helpful She seemed like a manager because she was helping a new front desk agent

Breakfast was not bad I wish they had chocolate muffins, English muffins, and more bread choices They had nice long breakfast hours for the holiday and never kicked people out Maintained very well Snow plows came immediately Very pleased with hotel
