Kendra and Jonathan were ABSOLUTELY Wonderful A1 customer service is definitely what they providedThey explained every single detail in regards to the room, dining, parking, events being held at the hotel, local things to do and much more

The room was very nice It was clean, the towels were great quality compared to a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at recently, elevators were clean I also like the fact that there was a microwave on each floor to accommodate the guests that needed oneI will definitely stay at this property again in the futureMy opinion for the negative reviews I read, closed mouths don’t get fed A hotel should not receive a bad review because you didn’t speak up for them to address your issues with your stay while there There are a lot of staffing issues due to COVID and unfortunately the hotel industry is probably seeing a impact just like every other businessThanks again for wonderful stay away from home!

I’ve been traveling to this area often for work and have had a hard time finding a decent hotel in the area This Renaissance met all of my expectations Clean, quick and friendly service, updated rooms, quiet and has a nice gym

See Hugo if you go to the restaurant, he’s fantastic! The beds here are SO comfortable I slept great every night I also liked that while they don’t have a microwave in the room, they have one for guests in the grab and go areaMy only wish is that they had coffee options before 7am, as I’ve been heading out early for work I’m happy to have had a great customer service experience after what feels like far too long Will be staying here going forward when I travel here!

LAUREN CALTA

While the hotel itself was clean with an attractive lobby, the customer service was below what I would expect You must give 24 hours notice if you want your room cleaned and then I would recommend that you follow up to make sure your request is recorded I stayed Thursday through Monday and although I requested the room be cleaned twice, it was never documented in the computer and therefore never cleaned

I had to request twice for someone to come get the dirty towels from the room and getting a full set of clean towels was a chore The housekeeping staff was less than accommodating , as I had to chase down a cleaning cart to get fresh towels as the chamber maid ignored me while pushing the cart right by me Certainly not worth the money and I would not return

First time staying at this particular hotel I loved it Even though it was 12 miles away from the convention center, I didn’t mind the drive because it is a world better than the hotels right by the convention center

I loved the location Staff was very nice and eager to assist with whatever you needed Exactly what you would expect from a Marriott property I will stay there again and hopefully Plantation Walk will be open Very nice!

I have stayed over 1,000 nights at a Marriott branded Hotel This Hotel is significantly below average compared to other Sheratons I stayed atLet me first start with a positives

The guy in the club lounge was super curious, responsive and wanted to help Excellent service mire commonly found in Asia or Latin America that the United States The lobby gets lots of natural light and it appears was remodeled not too long ago It’s got your standard breakfast area, a little bar and some conference rooms There’s a fountain outside and there’s plenty of parkingThe reason why I’m getting this two stars is because the rooms are just very old and kind of dirty For example, there is scum in mildew all over the bathroom Another example of the coffee table was scratched up Except for the mattress, it felt more like a old courtyard Marriott than a Sheraton The room is large as you would expect in a suite but again in bad need of updating The drapery seem like it came from the 1990s The shampoo and soap they give you is from big bottles of fixed to the shower wall There’s some hygiene risk there given I’m sure they don’t replace the whole bottle after every guestI have included photos so you can judge for yourselfThe AC unit was loud and didn’t respond to the thermostat very well I think I might have caught a head cold or something after two nights

Maggie Lou

Did a weekend staycation, this hotel is located in the heart of the upcoming area of Plantation Walk For that reason, make sure you get a parking pass because they do ticket cars There is security patrolling the area on a cart

Just a reminder parking isn’t free The staff were really nice and helpful The Sheraton Suites appears to be renovated from the outside and lobby area There are places were upgrades can occur such as the pool and hot tub area The room was nice but it has it quirks like turning the switch down to turn on the light, the noise the sink makes, the struggle opening the closet, and the movement of the refrigerator when you opened it They have a dining area where they serve breakfast, Starbucks, and a small bar Aside for a sign saying they have a breakfast buffet, if you don’t inquire about its most hush-hush There were not many people eating meals when I pass by in the morning or evening If there was a menu available in the room or during check-in, I’m sure they would have more people The hotel was reasonably priced but certain days the price fluctuates tremendously especially weekends and holidays

This hotel had great staff, was overall very well maintained, and had great food We stayed two nights in two different rooms Not the top of the line hotel by any stretch but it was a good affordable place to stay

The pool and exercise room were clean and quiet The second room we stayed in felt very damp and smelled bad like pee or mould from the air conditioner and that was really unpleasant but they were fully booked I would stay there again because the staff were great but should’ve pushed harder to get that room changed

kimberly cox

They let us know the room was ready early via email they let us check in right away checkin and checkout was greatThe room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable The only complaint would be breakfast the ladies working on Saturday morning were extremely rude they started shutting down breakfast before 9:30 am

If you asked for anything like the pancake machine to be refilled they said no until one guest spoke with the manager on duty and the ladies were told to put another bag of pancake mix in the machine They locked the fridge with milk and yogurt before 9:30 so you couldn’t get any even when I was asked I was told there is juice

We stayed for 1 night but it was great The front desk staff was friendly Ernesto Figueroa helped at the front desk and he was very friendly

The lady who sat us for breakfast was super friendly Our server was very friendly as well The whole breakfast was great One lady behind the omelets station was alone and doing everything from scrambled eggs to making omelets, to making waffles She did it all by herself and she was still so friendly The pool was great The water temperature was perfect The bar staff was friendly Everyone in this hotel looks like they want to be there and truly enjoy their job I would recommend this hotel 100 times over We will be back Thank you so much to all the staff members at this hotel You guys are great

This wasn’t a favorite, for sure It’s generally a nice hotel but it was clearly purchased from an Embassy Suites and even with the renovations they are doing, it’s a very dated hotel There are also areas of the grounds in your way in that almost look like the area was abandoned

The area right around the property though, has very attractive up-to-date landscapingStaff was ok, though no one seemed overly cheerful or happy to be thereThe rooms were clean, nicely appointed and comfortable, though their TV system dropped out and lost signal repeatedly In this day and age, maybe cable would be a better option for higher-end hotels in Florida where storms are a constant

thesecret shopper

We’ve been coming here many times and the last time we were there was just this month of April and everyone was amazing especially people at the banquet, they’re so helpful and friendly! My concern is just the breakfast buffet price which is $20++ plus 18% gratuity!! Which is shocking I know it’s a hotel and everything Is really expensive but $20 plus for a simple buffet? I think they need to make the price lesser And I was surprised that the housekeepers can’t clean our room because of COVID

🤦 Overall, everything was an amazing experience! All the staff were friendly especially front desk and banquet staff!

We have been here for three days so far and leaving tomorrow We have enjoyed staying here immensely Our room was so clean and we let housekeeping clean it each day

I like the fact you smell bleach in the bathroom It lets you know they actually clean it The staff here are always happy to help you except the maids They really aren’t socialable but that wasn’t anything to complain about The breakfast is very nice and very cleangood food as well This place went above and beyond my expectations We were in room 403

I can’t give this hotel 5 stars for 2 reasons1) The water pressure in the showers 🚿 is far to weak2) There is no microwave in the rooms

I stay in same hotels, for weeks at a time, and a microwave is a definite plusThe staff in this hotel is EXEMPLARY!From the front desk to housekeeping to the person arranging 🥞 the breakfast 🥐 buffet, everyone is friendly, efficient and pleasantI’d rather drive the 30 miles to my location, than stay in a closer hotel😌

Leader1- LARRIO A. WALDEN (Captain)

Nice Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast buffet

all you can eat But your car will get very dusty from all the construction going on next door And tree leafs falling on the windshield Otherwise, I like this property, will stay again and I do recommend this Holiday Inn Express & Suites However, they must stay steadfast, continuously striding in all categories to earn 5 Stars hotelNow, Breakfast dinning I rate 5 🌟 for cleanliness, food quality and quantity, temperature of the food and the good helpful attendant on duty therewho’s name is Trevor Very helpful and clean man

Hotel is old Bed was very uncomfortable Lumpy and too soft

Pillows were lumpy and so thin they offered no support AC wasn’t working well Room temperature was just below 80, even hallway was cooler This was one of the worst Hampton Inns I’ve stayed inStaff was friendly but poor room quality couldn’t be overcome I would not recommend

After giving rave reviews to Orlando Hampton, this one was sad Table not cleaned, didn’t see any workers One elevator not working, no sign

Twice I waited 3 minutes for this elevator (I’m slow) Slept in to 7:30 to very loud Sounded like jackhammer outside our window Husband thought it was AC, I don’t know, but not happy Breakfast area – not happy Bacon floating in grease, machine had no cranberry & orange tasted/ looked strange and tossed No oatmeal like Orlando, sad again Room clean, comfy bed, roomy bathroom, Nicely decorated This Duck likes it here for last 7 years!

Avoid room 104 They were fully booked and I think they knew this room was problematic We have been staying here the last 4 nights as my wife’s grandmother is in hospice with no issues

This morning (7/13) there was constant doors slamming from 6am to 8am and we woke up restless and with a migraine We have late nights as we are spending our nights in the hospital I complained to the receptionist at the front desk in regards to it to hopefully prevent it from happening I mentioned it might be the staff door where they get supplies (as it close to the beds) and she continued to argue with me what door it might be The door slammed at least 15 times in last 2 hours If a customer is complaining to you, acknowledge their complaint and don’t sit there and argue with them as something as insignificant as which door it is We have stayed here over 10 times in the past, but will be taking our business elsewhere The receptionist needs heavy training in customer service or be terminated as she is not fit for that job We will miss Fred the duck

This hotel has the potential to be a nice hotel However, there are some issues that needs to be rectified During my 2 day stay my room did not have any hot water in the shower

I was told that the water only gets warm but the water didn’t even get warm It is obvious that the pool haven’t been cleaned in a very long time Plus the overall cleanliness of the hotel can be better Even though the rooms are decent and the hotel is in a good location The issues that I address tends to take away from the potential of the hotel

Ab M

Woke up and wanted to take a shower; the water was cold You can imagine how that felt They serve “breakfast”

Came down and it was a few apples, crunch bar and a few pre made ham/sausage burgers No veggie options Pool was not functioning Jacuzzi was dysfunctional Why did I pay that much money for? Would’ve been better off at Marriott or Hilton Staff was nice and respectful, that’s why the two star

Glenn Witherspoon (Spoon)

The cold water pressure varying during the day The faucet usually there no cold water, and the water is to hot to wash your hands The shower water pressure is very weak

Above the shower head, there peeling paint, you can see the green mesh tape The bathroom door get stuck The carpet is sticky, need to be steam cleaned The lobby is really nice, and they have great parking The staff are nice and professional

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be disappointedAfter a nightmare experience with an AirBnb (never again) we came to the Westin Fort Lauderdale at 3 in the morning and were greeted by one of the most excellent customer service representatives we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, Nicole She made our check-in effortless, quick, and ensured that our stay here would be a fantastic one We had a car rental, so the location was extremely convenient (right off the highway) and several miles away from major boulevards and beaches The hotel is excellent, clean, welcoming, the staff are great and helpful The pool is refreshing and nice (although we wish it was heated), and the grounds are fantastic The only criticism I would have is that the pillows could be a bit firmer (or at least an option) and the pool should be heated Otherwise, the hotel is highly recommended, thanks again to Nicole!

Please be aware that this hotel is gradually being renovated You may not get a newly renovated room, and that makes a world of differenceThe first time we stayed here, it was great! The room looked fresh and was very clean

We decided to book a second time (for longer) based on that first experience, and it’s like we’re in a different hotel entirely this time The carpet is old and there are bare footprints all over it from the previous guests — no one had vacuumed the room when we arrived It’s dirty, outdated, and smells oddly perfume-y and damp There is what looks like a blood stain on one of the pillow cases and the couch is stained and faded It’s clear that the room we were assigned to this time isn’t one of the renovated onesThe only reason we are staying tonight is that we checked in very late after a long cross country flight Despite our reservation being non-refundable we will be moving to a new hotel tomorrow Yuck! Avoid this place unless you enjoy the thrill of not knowing what you’re paying for

Our company held a conference with approximately 40 people staying at the hotel including myself Everything was amazing from the reservation process, to checking in and room accommodations We had food catered in for two events and everything was amazing

The staff at this hotel makes planning and holding an event easy I had so many other elements to handle and having Maureen Sallustio, the Director of Sales manage the event was a blessingThe general staff all were accommodating, willing to help in any way, and went above and beyond

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itEverything was amazing The valet was very fast and efficient, all the staff was very kind and the rooms were clean! The gym was a tad small but I expect it I travel for business so this was everything I neededPhilencia Smith at the front desk treated me with the up most respect and made sure my stay was more than comfortable I had a horrible trip on the way there and after our interaction, I felt so relieved and grateful that she was there to help me9/10!!!

Jennifer Cale

We saved about $20 a night by staying here rather than other nearby hotels NOT worth it! Being cheap didn’t pay offIssues:- A lot of hair on the comforter

– Thin bedding that didn’t keep us warm- Stairs inaccessible from outside- Treadmill and elliptical were old models that haven’t been maintained and didn’t work well- Our outside view was obscured by a wall- Low water pressure- Loud wall AC unit The thermostat inside wasn’t attached to anything- Relatively remote location, so more miles put on the rental car- All staff have masks hanging down below their noses- The fridge is tiny – smaller than a dorm sized one – and the back half had built up ice, so our leftovers froze- Thin walls, loud noise from halls- They do offer breakfast, but only if you pay for each item- Stains on the bedding

The whole experience was terrible I checked out early and was unable to even complete my stay there because the experience was just that horrible The hotel staff were not hospitable and not what I am accustomed to experiencing from the Marriott brand

The room smelled bad Our concerns about the smell were not adequately addressed The first night they stated they could only clean the room but they were unable to move us to a comparable room since they were at capacity for the night The next day the hotel staff said that they would need to do an assessment of the room before moving Ridiculous! They then say they still are unable to move us and offered to clean the room again, which I was not interested in then having to stay in the same room where they are spraying with tons of cleaning products, also while our luggage is still in the room The manager followed up later on that day Finally, the manager told us that they would move us to another room on the same floor The manager stated she would leave a note with the front desk staff However, the communication between the managers and the front staff was horrible Once we were packed and were ready to move to the different room the front desk staff acted as if they had no idea what we were referring to They said they had no comparable rooms available I asked to speak with the manager and they advised they already left for the night Eventually, they “magically” found us a comparable room, but it wasn’t on the same floor as they promised Actually, the new room was now on the lower third level close to the highway, where we can hear the highway traffic all night long I imagine this wouldn’t have been an issue if the hotel had double pane windows The next morning we speak to the manager of the hotel and he is condescending, ignores our concern, and makes tons of excuses instead of apologizing for the many inconveniences we experienced during our stay After that encounter, I checked out early I moved to a full service Marriott hotel in the area And the experience was night and day I received much better treatment after moving to another hotel This Courtyard location needs to ensure they are adequately cleaning their rooms, especially if they are a pet friendly hotel But most of all, they need to learn to treat their customers with respect As a Marriott Gold elite member I’ve never experienced this type of treatment and horrible customer service I would never recommend staying at this hotel

Eric Gotham

This has been a pleasant surprise  For the price, I was expecting something a little more aged but it looks brand new   Even though its new,  the staff really knows what they’re doing – all very pleasant, busy, kind, etc

Rooms are clean and spacious with large windows and televisions  Modern lighting controls and plenty of charging ports The lobby is contemporary, yet inviting It has a convenient little “store” for snacks and drinks  The restaurant, coffee shop and bar on the lobby level are OK – kinda the only thing that’s missed the mark Dinner is far better than breakfast The food portions are small and quality is so so (it’s a hotel, I get it) The real bummer is they say it’s not part of the hotel, so you cannot charge your room for meals or drinks  Same with the roof top bar

We got a handicap room (did not ask for it) on the third floor with a view of the rooftop of the restaurant complete with all the mechanical doodads The rug was wet, the room was cold and damp and there was a strange gurgling noise that kept me up all night ( like being in an aquarium) I wanted to change rooms, but my husband was exhausted (we arrived really late) and was too tired to change and went straight to bed

When we checked out, the clerk asked how our stay was and I told her She apologized, gave me a cookie and a Starbucks certificate (actually she offered us breakfast, but we did not have time) She said the manager would call me to discuss our stay, but THAT NEVER HAPPENED Considering the room was a couple hundred bucks, you would think the room would have been better It was supposed to be a 4 star hotel, it was not In their reply: “We would have loved to know this when it happened so that we could have rectified the situation” You were told You chose not to contact us (left my phone number and name) Guess you had no intention of any reparation for a sub-par room

This hotel is one of a kind! With great attention to details, wonderful service with our room and restaurantMy partner and I booked for two night, but we ended up extending our stay! We enjoyed all of the accommodations, friendly services, and comfort we received Oh and the cookies are soooooo good!!! My partner could not get enough of those! Big shout out to Cece- who made our stay wonderful from checking us in, taking care of any discomfort we may or may not have felt, to being friendly and welcoming! Cece we appreciate you! When ever we went to the counter she ALWAYS greeted us with a smile

When we came down for breakfast or to go explore she greeted us with good morning! Your kindness in meeting our needs made our stay special She truly made our stay memorable! Thank you Cece for the hospitality you’ve shown! 🙂 we would like to also shout out Robert in the Restaurant, it was great being served by you! Your kindness and willingness to meet our needs was truly appreciated!

Prior to our arrival to the hotel, we received a phone call from the Front Office Manager, Ramy concerning our room He stated that there was a guest at the hotel that needed our room which was a handicapped accessible room Without hesitation I expressed to him yes! As long as we had a room I was truly grateful

Well because our willingness to switch rooms with the guest, our stay was upgraded as well as we were placed on the highest floor Our overall stay thus far has been truly blessedThe front desk, the restaurant, the hotel stay and the banquet staff have truly exemplified the level of professionalism and standards that the Hilton brand has to offer! I’m truly glad that our church, True Holiness Tabernacle of Prayer, chose to use the Doubletree by Hilton in Sunrise, FL for our Holy Convocations 2022!

This place is nicely located off the main street It is modern and the amenities are great to have The check process was effortless that it seems unreal, the facility is very clean and there is a pleasant fragrance that welcomes you as the automatic door opens

The staffs are hospitable and polite, always greeting and acknowledging you I liked the diversity of the staffs I loved the room, especially the shower Checking out was as easy as checking in, unfortunately all great experience has to come to an end I look forward to my next stay

This had to be the WORST Marriott I have ever had the misfortune to stay atFirst, when I arrived they had no re ord of my reservation even though I showed it to them through my email Then they realized they canceled it and had to give me another room

Of course it was right next door to the elevator and the a/c was stuck on 75 I called the front desk and they sent two repairmen to my room and one said ” oh that’s they way it works If I can’t change it you need to get another room” Why say you can change it but tell me first thats the way it works???The next day I was finally able to get a room in the afternoon with a balcony which is what I requested Unfortunately I made the mistake of leaving 2 of my own pillows along with my necklace on the other room I called the front desk and of course they didn’t find it or have anything turned in The necklace I could see but pillows???My main issue with this courtyard was their lack of empathy and their poor customer service Pretty much everyone I spoke to seemed preoccupied with something else and showed no concern whatsoever I chose this courtyard over my usual one in plantation just to save $20 and it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT I would suggest you not visit this one until they get better management and start to hold their staff more accountable for how they treat their customers

I stayed here for the first time with my family including my infant son I was very impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel room, lobby, dining area, and surrounding areas The breakfast is complimentary and there are a lot of great choices

Also the staff was very helpful and very sweet I want to especially recognize Sarah who very kindly allowed my mom and I back into our room after checkout so we could wash up my baby who was fussing and crying We were all so grateful for her compassion and understanding I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

The stay part was great Clean room comfortable beds and a very good breakfast Issue was paying

We set it up on our credit card but wanted to pay on our debit So they split it saying our debit was declinedwhich we have plenty of money So now after a long drive home we have to figure this out They said they called this morning before check out but failed to leave a voice-mail Will be back but need better communication The lady that check us in and the lady on later nights were super nice

Brittany

I stay at a lot of Hamptons They’re all different quality wise As far as this hotel quality wise is concerned, it is fine

No issues, but nothing exceeding expectationsMy air conditioner didn’t work and a part needed to be ordered They had no other available rooms and I had a pretty restless night I’m giving 5 stars because the lovely lady working the desk that night automatically offered to take some money off the total I don’t tend to push for that because I understand things pop up they aren’t expecting, so was pleasantly surprised However, the next day they completely waived my entire stay!! I’ve never had that happened What amazing customer service! Props to the service/management team at this location Really impressed and thank you!

I was here for two nights and I found the room to be clean and the staff to be very accommodating My only issue is my room was near the highway which sometimes people with out mufflers would go by during the evening This is not the hotels fault and I am sure I could have asked for a different room and they would have done this

The room has a full refrigerator, stove and microwave Wifi worked great and I would stay here again

Ivy 2343

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite It’s bigger than most but a bit rundown and stained It’s on a busy street so it is not as quiet as I would have liked

The breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt etc coffee is at the front desk instead of with the breakfast for some reason The pool was very tiny and we decided not to go as 2 guests in there already made it too crowded I would say I’d pass next time Keeping it real as always

Lawrence Jones

Don’t stay here The room was not new and clean as it appeared on the picture Actually looked nothing like the pictures, well a dirty run down version

It stated that it was a smoke free room and that room smelled like a chain smoker stayed there We left right away and they still charged us a 1 night stay and we were literally in that room for 2 mins If your a chain smoker and don’t mind a nasty room then this place is for you

Far from the madding crowd A great quiet location with everything you could need for a quiet vacation within a 20 minute walk On site breakfast bar has a wide variety of delicious snacks and meals with pleasant attendants

Many local restaurants and bistros within a 10 minute saunter, although it does get crowded at normal feasting times! A wide variety of rooms to suit most peoples tastes, and the in room a/c is adequate for the climate Bathroom supplies were plentiful and housekeeping were always somewhere on hand for top ups or little extras A great little find

Maranda Jean

This is my go to spot for when I’m in town for work and the ladies at the front are so wonderful! Natasha always remembers me greets me with a smile as soon as I walk in I enjoy her conversation and look forward to my stays here because of her! The entire staff is so gracious and kind There is a nice little Starbucks and bar

Rooms are always clean and hotel is maintained extremely well Great work to this staff!

There were major problems with noise coming from a party in the hotel’s pool past 11:30 PM at night The hotel allowed 20 or more people to stay in the pool past the stated 11 PM closing time (the pool is in the middle of the hotel property) When a phone call was placed to the front desk at 11:30 PM about excessive noise still coming from a party happening in the pool, the desk attendant explained that the hotel cannot ask guests to leave the pool area even though it was time for it to close for the evening based on the hotel’s own rules

This was an absurd answer for a Marriott employee to give to a guest I’m all for people having a good time but what about the rest of the guests going to sleep? Hotels have rules for a reason This is second time we have used this hotel and won’t use it again
