I go here quite often for breakfast Their selection is top notch and I haven’t had a bad meal The servers are excellent and you will never feel like they are too busy for you

As a night shift person, the thing appreciate most is being able to grab a cocktail or beer on my way home to get some sleep If you’re looking for a solid breakfast check out this spot!

Amy Bradford

The service here is usually pretty good I do appreciate the sequins the servers wearThe menu is overpriced for what you get

I went here for the last time a few days ago Coffee was cold, and $24 including a tip is far too much for a single reindeer sausage, coffee, two eggs, and a small portion of unseasoned, uncrispy hashbrownsAlso I have ordered to go food from here and found hair in itSorry Windbreak, but you need to increase the quality and portions, or lower your prices

Charlie Foster

Ordered the stuffed French toast It has gone up a ton over the years but I thought I’d treat myself The menu says any meat

I ordered the rainwear sausage and they charged me 250 extra When I brought this up to the manager she wanted to argue about it My wife and I both ordered this meal and they only credited one Attempted to talk to the waitress after and she ignored me This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Wasilla Won’t be going back for a long time

I only like to comment on how hard it is to get a hold of anyone in this motel They never pick up their phone Didn’t return a voicemail

They didn’t answer emails Their website doesn’t have an option to cancel bookingsTip: if you are trying to cancel a booking with them Try calling them repeatedly They’re there they just wouldn’t bother picking up the phone the first time

Don’t let the outside fool you (not that it’s super dumpy on the outside it’s just very low key looking and not much color) but the inside is fantastic You can tell they put extra care when putting this place together We got to chat with Linda before we checked out and she was very sweet and even gave us a tour of the property as they also have units with kitchens for those who want to cook

Highly recommend this place! It’s also right by the reindeer farm which is super fun!

Marsha Lowery

This place is such a gem The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfy, there are 4 pillows per bed, there is a full size fridge, and everything extremely cleanThe staff was very helpful and gave me tips on things to do with the kids

This was a very lovely, delicious (!!) ladies’ luncheon in connection with my church denomination’s annual business meeting+ meeting The facilities are excellent Be aware that there is not a (client-available) elevator! For the lady in a wheelchair, we had to go back outdoors, around the left side of the building, then bang-bang-bang on the door! A sign at the entrance would have been helpful

Aside from that issue, the food and spacious banquet room were perfect!

This place is super old, they are slowly updating some things but have long ways to go to bring it up to modern standards They have no HVAC controls here, in fact the heat is always on, even with thermostat off, thus why the fans in the room I as told to open the patio door for cooler air, what is this 1910? Typical hotel breakfast so pretty low quality there, so don’t expect too much on that subject

Shower curtain is shorter the height to bottom of shower so lot’s of water gets out on floor, honesty i don’t understand who can’t see that in management and says that is a good thing for safety or the flooring, but whatever Great view however, see pic Floors are super thin so hear everything above you

Okay so I found this hotel decent, good enough for our one-day stop But I think I would have hated it if I stayed longerThe rooms are okay-ish

The showerhead is static There is no airco while it can get quite warm in the rooms The walls are thin, and the doors of the room slam shut So soundproofwise its terribleCurtains were ripped off by one of the previous guests, and were somewhat dirty tooThe beds are big and cozy thoWhile the rooms are big the bathrooms feel cramped, with the waterboiler and the icebucket being put in the bathroom Like why? There is enough furniture and or place in the room for them to be placed in the roomThe breakfast contains the most cheap products, like cheesestrings and scrambled eggs made from eggpowderThey had constructionworks going on, but that didnt bother meStunning view on the lake6/10 not great, specially soundproof wise a lot of work to be done

We were looking for an alternative to a hotel that was reasonably priced This cabin was perfect Very comfortable, clean common area with a lodge feel

The kitchen was fully equipped and well stocked to comfortably make a real breakfast Lots of outdoor space with a fire pit, complimentary wood, and a hot tub The room and bathroom was clean and nice I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone that wants a great spot to use as a home base to explore all the great things within an hour or two drive from Palmer

Stayed 1 night, June 2022 Wow, we had no idea how luxurious this stop would be The quality of the construction is amazing

Rooms had luxurious details, see photo of bath in one of the rooms! Large beautiful living room with lots of couches Owner is super responsive and friendly without being intrusive Beautiful grounds Front and back porches Great quiet location yet so close to Reindeer Farm, Musk Ox Farm and restaurants in Palmer We were sad to only spend one night here It would be great for gathering of larger groups

Lynette Bryan

This Bed and Breakfast is secluded and couldn’t be a more beautiful setting, nested in the trees by Lazy Mountain All the facilities are very clean and well maintained with lovely common areas and private rooms The owners are very responsive and have clearly paid attention to many details to make your stay as enjoyable as can be

The Alaskan decor is very beautiful! Thank you Alaskan Knotty Pine B & B for a wonderful stay!

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast and wow it set the bar high! Collette’s attention to detail was amazing

from the themed decor to the fabulous spread for breakfast and all the amenities (including the opportunity to say hi to their pet sheep) The view is breathtaking We felt very welcomed and relaxed during our stay If I’m ever back in the area, I know where I’ll be staying!

Shawn Monroe

There’s not enough marvelous things to be said about this beautiful cabin and hostess It is such a warm and cozy space You walk in the door and immediately decompress from whatever the days prior threw at you

The beds are so comfortable We slept so well! and to look out the windows to the southjust breathtaking! You won’t want to leave! Our family came to visit Alaska from Oregon, and we wanted to give them the Alaska welcomeand so we went all out and were so rewarded It was a wonderful time! 6 amazing days Thanks Colette and Joe for all that you do Looking forward to the next time Shalom!

Lucy Golden

Once again, Colette & Joe made our stay wonderful
One of my sisters & one of our nieces stayed at Collette’s B&B & things couldn’t have been more perfect There was a heat wave going on when we arrived, but there was a portable fan & the ceiling fan going when we arrived, so our room wasn’t miserable

“Our” room (the Bears Den) was nicely appointed, as usual, & we enjoyed our stay thoroughly When you go, make sure you take a walk around the grounds; the yard is amazing!
