Wow, this place was absolutely MAGICAL We enjoyed thorough relaxation with the chilly mountain air and had the absolute best service EVER I never wanted to leave

The people who run this resort are so friendly and such great hosts The place was quiet, stunning, and remote The rooms were GORGEOUS Very well decorated Everything worked – AC, WiFi, hot water, etc The drive into the entrance was super fun, you go down a steep hill and drive through a shallow river to get to the resort Such an experience!I will 100% return and recommend this to every traveler and local that I know When my mom comes to visit, we will be making a special trip from San Juan just to stay here This should be a bucket list destination for anyone in PR!

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itGreat location, all organized and very clean Small casino but fun to spend time Loved the pool tables and the 2 swimming pools

La Johnny Ellis

My My uncle-in-law (My father-in-law’s brother) at that 50th wedding anniversary hereThe staff was great, they provided excellent serviceThe chef really knows his way around the kitchen and ingredients, the meal was one of the best I’ve had in the convention center type setting

I would recommend this place to anybody for any event

maria caraballo

I gave a 4 start because the property is beautiful, rooms are big and very clean There is two out door pools and rooms looking at the pools They have a nice small casino

I have to say customer service was not great When we arrived they didn’t knowledge us and it was like here are your keysI had to tell the front desk agent I am here for checking because she was busy doing other stuff In the morning after check out there were 3 agents all talking gossip and I had to break up there conversations to tell them I was checking out The one girl just took my room keys and was like ” ok that’s all you are done” I ask for a receipt and I was told they do not give receipt to reservation done by third parties, only if you booked directly with them 😒 I have never heard that before in any hotel I always get a receipt at check out with a cero balance The agent turn around and continue with her conversation with other agents This was the only complaint I have Customer service is not the bestvery disappointed

My husband had been to Mary Lees several times in the past, after hearing nothing but good things I was not disappointed The staff is friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, with someone working the main office proficient in English The price is reasonable and from the moment we walked in we felt at home

Anything needed was provided, and we even had a small lizard friend living with us in the bathroom We also rented a two person kayak and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area Best part was the lack of tourists, it felt like a local gem and the view was amazing Really liked the spacious shower, along with the funky layout of the bathroom Quiet and peaceful at night, with no cell phone service in our room, it really is paradise We will be returning year and after year, and with our friends and family Highly recommend

Explore With Who

Very unique we stayed in the Studio called Ruthie’s enjoyed the open space and Susie is very friendly and helpful with the area questions we had She has private boating for island transportation to Gilligan’s Island which is wonderful off-season no crowds at all and we snorkeled near the reefs where the ocean breaks pretty much the whole time lots of water life to see from Octopus, starfish, conchs and more

I came here on vacation and though I can’t speak for the prices, as the stay was a gift, I can tell that the staff was extremely helpful The accommodations were very clean and beautiful and the perks of various restaurant discounts were fun and useful I greatly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone in need for rest during the off season

I can’t speak for it in holiday season but I imagine that despite the crowds the service would still be cordial The employees were really sweet and thoughtful

Scott Hair

We booked a room for January 3-5, they gave us the corner room (15) which has a spectacular view Check in and out was quick and employees were very friendly Price for the room was reasonable and it was very clean

WiFi was fast and water pressure was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel Some odd things though No ice machine on site No refrigerator in the room Coolers are not allowed in the rooms First time I’ve ever seen that, even in cheap hotels We never got maid service either Returned after aboat trip after 1 pm, no one had been by, no one came after that Whole the room had an excellent view, the music at the restaurant on the other side of the church had a really loud band Saturday night that played until 12;30 am But it’s a party town so that’s to be expected The morning sun lit up the room like crazy, needs darker shades to prevent thatOverall we liked the hotel but not sure if we’d stay there again without room refrigerators Too expensive to constantly have to buy cold drinks

Luis Bernal

rooms are nice and well maintained and cleaned staff is extremely nice and very accommodating the only thing that kept me from giving five stars is the fact that the restaurant and pool bar on site is closed Monday-Wednesday

i realize that it’s a tourist town and that half the town is closed on these days but it’s a hotel and you have guests that want to sit by the pool and have drinks at the bar you gotta at least have the bar open for peoplein general, I’d definitely recommend the place, though

Overall, we had a good stay Our room faced the city so we were able to enjoy the sunrise Rooms were neat and bathroom was clean

The food menu is limited and the hotel is dull when it came to decoration The casino was more vibrant than the hotel The pool was area was nice and has a very nice ocean viewHowever, the hotel is going through renovation hence hope that it will add more vibrant/tropical themed decoration

LaToya Pierce

The hotel itself was nice and great pool and ocean view The house keepers were very nice they came everyday to check and see if I needed services The hotel staff mike was very rude at check in I have status for one was not greeted as normal for my status

I had a voucher for breakfast when I asked where breakfast he snatched my card back and said oh breakfast not included with your stay I told him I called and my package it was included he said Talk to my manager in the morning I told him that was rude he should not have just snatched it from me he was like I’m just doing my job I was upset but I did tell the manager the next morning and he gave me my voucher back The hotel didn’t have a lot of choices for food I never received my welcome points other than that the hotel was okay I took my 4 year old to pr for his birthday he loved it

Adam Young

Will I stay here again? Yes I travel for business and it is a good value in an area that doesn’t have many international hotel chain options Is it a hotel I would rave about? No

It’s a hotel that is on a small hill outside of Ponce It’s not in town and you can’t walk to anything except a cool looking restaurant that closes early It has the look and feel of a 1970s hotel Some floors have been renovated and the look is modern but still an older hotel The bar is outdated but they are probably going to renovate it in their plan

We did not stay at the hotel This review is for the restaurant We arrived about an hour before close but were served quickly, despite being a large group

I had a regular monitor which was average and a passion fruit monitor which was good The lobster was not great, it lacked freshness and was a bit overcooked We had a sampler #1 as appetizer and again it was good just not great The place ambiance is beautiful and very unique concept

Lauren Vaughan

I highly recommend this hotel The staff is phenomenal and the property is peaceful I loved the hammocks

And the room was extremely clean and comfortable I will be back soon! The property is also close to some of the most beautiful beaches in this part of the world

We went for our anniversary and it was great Live music Good quality food

Good Service The only bad thing was that they were some loud/drunk/rude girls at the bar that interfere with the music Just an advice to managment please don’t let this happen again I don’t care how important people might be It was annoying to hear This is a really nice romantic place and those people ruined the experience We kind of blocked them because we were celebrating but for most of the tourists this will not be a good situation When I was going to pay one of the girls was using bad words and telling the waitress that she was going to punch her Waitress was very professional But the girl keep throwing the straw paper at her Please don’t allow this to happen again Kudos for the professionalism of the waitress!

Other than the pool didn’t see anything else as entertainment Not sure if there’s a restaurant, didn’t see or look for it Small café Good coffee They also have a food menu although limitedDefinitely there’s room for improvement

Elena Febus

The drive is intense with all the curves!! But once we arrived our reservation was canceled from booking for whatever reason we don’t know! But the lady in the front desk was super sweet she got us the room right away l!! Once we got the room we noticed it didn’t have AC when we did more research we had to book rooms with AC and we didn’t think we had to do that it was my fault for not reading lol! The room felt good at night opened the window and it was nice and fresh/cool!!! Other then that they have a pool/ restaurant/ sheep u can buy food at front desk and walk down to feed them! Super quit/ now keep in mind the city is about an hour away!! They do have a couple of restaurant about 10 mins away but not allot of variety!!! If u want beaches they are about 1 hour and 45mims away depending on what beach u want!

carmen dappo

after I made my reservations on the company site I drove at 11 pm 3 hours to get there (the drive is very intense since its all curves on a very narrow driveway) for them to tell me that they had no rooms available and nothing they could accommodate for me As a young woman these plans are well planned out so I am not left stranded ever and today, my first day in puerto rico, I am looking on near by pueblos for accommodations Im so upset and disappointed

I was very much looking forward to staying here My advice, call them before booking Not an organized ran business

We stayed there Christmas 2021, Perfect place to stay in La Parguera Perfectly located, close to the docks and restaurants, but far enough to have a good night of rest Plus the cafeteria next door, seals the deal

The smell of fresh baked bread and coffee will wake you up, their pastries and entrees are supreme !! Highly recommended
