This hotel is not at the same level as others under the same name For the price, I expect higher quality The hotel itself has a small layout, making many areas feel claustrophobic

I had a suite, which was also small The AC in my room did not work The front desk sent up a fan, and with the one I had brought with me, that made the room bearable The breakfast was terrible, terrible On a positive note, housekeeping was on their game in keeping the entryway freshly mopped

After me and my toddler son missed our connection flight , we booked a room here and let me tell you it did not disappoint Staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and let me tell you they had to deal with a lot of disgruntled exhausted travelers They were so kind helping with any and all questions

And the room was clean spacious and all around very pleasing Definitely recommend this hotel to any and all travelers

Wow, what a difference a day makes We thought we’d have a nice evening at the pool on our last night in Houston So we returned our rental car and waited 1 and 1/2 hours for the shuttle from this hotel to pick us up! No apologies or explanations

Then when we got to the hotel (finally!), The pool was disgusting It was nasty green The next morning was totally different the shuttle driver came in early to take our family to the airport and the guy at the front desk even gave our kids a few apples since we were missing the breakfast Hence the two stars instead of one Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you need a shuttle or a pool If you just need a place to sleep the room was nice

The staff are very friendly and the suite was well cleaned Overall a very great stayThe reason for the 2 star review is because my suite was situated next to an ice machine

For the last two nights of my stay the ice machine was running every other 5-15 minutes at 4AM The first night wasn’t bad and I just went back to sleep My last night was terrible The machine would vibrate the wall of the head board every time it ran and it ran for 90 minutes I couldn’t get any sleep after that pointIf you end up in a suite next to one of those ice machines, consider another suite

gyo

My experience was poo First of all, the air conditioning was not working, and the staff was not helping at all They was lying and saying that it worked but it did not

They didn’t give me another room when I asked for one They had old beer bottles at the pool And the pool did not smell clean Not a lick of chlorine It was also located in a bad neighborhood near a busy intersection The food was poo I hated it so much It was dry and it was not girlboss The side door had disgusting things on it for as long as I stayed there When I left, the door handle was still covered in whatever splashed on it I do not recommend staying at this hotel It was not giving what it was supposed to give They thought they are but they didn’t even have no food

Wilma Mukdree

The hotel room was awesome however as I was told by staff the pool party was unscheduled party Over 20 kids with a very few adult was at the pool with a birthday party They were eating in the pool with food dropping all over the concrete , throwing up in the pool and unruly children , diving in the pool, running around the pool

Parents was cussing and some not paying attention to the children Many of your paid guest was unable to enjoy the amities that we paid for I feel cheated out of my stay as my real reason for booking this hotel was because of your pool area Very disappointed

If I could put a 0 star rating I would Upon arrival front desk seemed very welcoming Gave me my card for my room and all, not even 10 minutes into staying in the hotel and the same guy at the front desk knocks on my door and harasses me asking if I wanted to go out and what not

This was unprofessional and unsolicited There was no security for me to notify I left immediately and told the other front desk guy what had happened No refund no nothing he walked off and made a call I chose this hotel for the ratings it had but the reality was otherwise Room was filthy there was handprints on the back board of the bed and sheets had yellow stains

Had a great time at this hotel! I was there for a conference and the catering service was excellent The hotel is clean, my room was as well The room is spacious and very comfortable

I love the lobby area of this hotel, plenty of room to stretch out and a variety of different places to work The staff was very accommodating, polite and professional I would definitely stay at this location again the next time I’m in townThe hotel is located very close to a shopping plaza with restaurants This makes it convenient if you’re looking for lunch after the restaurant closes There’s a Starbucks located inside the hotel Shuttle service is available and runs to/from the airport every 30 minutes

I was traveling from Honduras and the airline booked me at this place It was great I was traveling with a baby, two suitcases, a backpack, and a stroller (I know)

Staff was super helpful and they went above and beyond to accommodate me and my daughter The facility is super clean and very modern too It’s easy to get to from the airport (15-20 minute ride from IAH) The room was spacious and it had all the amenities you would expectThe walls are thin and I know I may have caused a fellow traveler a bit of a rough hour but everything was goodWe woke up happy and ready to continue our journey to Chicago (see photo)

Barbara Martinez

Very well kept and clean The night auditor at the front desk was engaging and funny (whomever was there after 11 PM on Thursday, Feb 10, she was so welcoming and charming!)The room was remarkably comfortable, once it cooled down after a couple of hours The parking lot is a labyrinth

Other than that, I was very pleased

The room was very clean and simple, I loved the shower! I stayed alone as a single woman and felt perfectly safe Management was very friendly Location provides easy access to the city

The lights in the parking lot stay on all night so you can see your car and what’s happening around you at all times The only issue I had was the wifi but the local Starbucks was an easy solution Great stay for a quick trip to the city!

Edit 08/05: my husband and I stayed at this hotel for about 3 weeks and we were satisfied with the prices they gave us and the service because we never went to the hotel next door There was never any breakfast here, despite their prices being more expensive than the hotel next door We stayed at the Haven Inn & Suites last night and honestly, wow! 5 star breakfast from 6:30AM-9AM, the rooms, furniture and bedding is MUCH better! They even gave us 2 packs of high quality tooth brushes with small toothpastes in each pack, as well as a shaving pack!! There’s even a small coffee pot in every room to make coffee with coffee packs

The service was ok while we stayed here but I prefer the Haven Inn & Suites over this hotel

on Saturday someone from the staff went into our room changed towels and the trash while I’m there decided to steal my $600 Gucci sandals

Front desk was very friendly and accommodating Lobby was comfortable providing plenty of seats for lounging or waiting to check in The room was clean and bed was comfortable

Breakfast was also good The sitting areas outside were clean and provided nice shady areas that you could sit to be out of the sun I would have given 5 stars except for a couple of things Housekeeping did not come clean the room during the day and we did not have a microwave in the room Otherwise, it was a very nice stay

Due to a canceled flight 7/25/22 ✈️ I was left in a bind but my night was made better by the service, energy and accommodations provided by Pierre once I arrived I called in advance to request the shuttle pick up a door 115 and the driver was friendly and arrived promptly Pierre also advised on the best way to book a room

My room was immaculate and on a high floor – 10 I’m eager to try the buffet breakfast and see the lounge in the morning It’s almost 1am I’m writing this review now as a testament to the front desk team with Pierre being a standout!

Aidea S.

I was very impressed with your bar/restaurant recently when I was laid over during a recent rain cancelation of my flight, luckily got one of the last rooms! Your bar was slammed with late night arrivals of hungry people and I was sitting there enjoying a honey chicken pistachios salad that was delicious and beautiful! I was impressed by the way the bartender, manager and waitress all handled so many people so smoothly and all the food came out with compliments from the people that enjoyed it So KUDOS!

Consistent The quality is consistent I love that about Courtyard, no surprises and the best they have to offer in staffing, amenities and rooms

I needed to be at the airport so that I didn’t have to take a costly taxi over I wanted a little luxury (great bed and towels) and a few extra amenities (a bar and Starbucks coffee) So the Courtyard was the place Next morning after meeting the pleasant shuttle driver, I was at the terminal in 10 minutes I couldn’t have been more pleased with the stay!!

Renita Burwell

I just came home from Texas and am truly amazed at how immaculate this hotel was! Since Covid I know standards above anything else the cleaning standards have diminished Not here! From the time I walked in the guest services representative was kind and professional I tried to tip her and and she refused it

The lobby smells so fresh and clean The air freshener in the lobby is a great choice and lets you know youve come to the right place The room was spotless! Bed=perfect! The amenities were good too Overall I loved loved loved my room and enjoyed my stay Will definitely return

Molly Federline

The room was nice but the parking cost me my catalytic converter There are no cameras covering the parking by the front entrance No signs saying as much either

No response from Corporate eitherEdit: If the lack of security/surveillance is “out of hotel control” then it would be something that should be noted on the parking form I signed

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I’m sure!I can honestly say yesterday and today were the worst day of my life My flight was originally to Austin but ended up in Houston The airport sent me to this hotel, I think they saw my frustration specially since we ( my young kids and I) have been up all night trying to figure things out They did EVERYTHING they could to make me feel better and comfortable This hotel has the best costumer services that I have received in years, also the room was nice and very clean After a long day and night, I was happy I stayed hereBest hospitality ever!

John C

Exceptionally friendly staff, rooms were properly maintained in Marriott fashion 8th floor Concierge Lounge is a nice touch for those loyalty members, showing that they appreciate those that frequent their brand

Update: return stay proved to me that the hotel is consistent with service and cleanliness Front desk staff, Courtney, represented the hotel perfectly and even called after I got to my room to ensure everything was to my liking awesome customer service and instills the reason I stay at Marriott properties

Minh Nguyen

Decent for business stays, especially given the fact that they just renovated the room There is a shuttle bus service that runs every half an hour to the airport Service staff was really nice

The only disappointment was the restaurant, which needs to really improve their food My salmon pasta tastes like boiled pasta and overcooked salmon

Our family stayed here for 1 night The receptionist during the night is nice, but when we enter the room seems clean but it’s not like that Blankets on the folded bed cover neatly

But when the blanket is opened I saw a lot of hair in the bed and hair on the pillow It smells like it’s been used and hasn’t been washed I had to spray disinfectant and put our clothes on our pillows to sleep I feel bad to see this and will be the last time to stay in this hotel

Pilar Constantine

By far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any hotel When we got our room our sheets didn’t even cover the entire mattress and the blankets were damp feeling We booked for a King size bed and we’re given a queen

We stayed an entire weekend, we asked for more towels early on our second day and never received them and at almost 4 in the afternoon when we came back to the hotel we still didn’t have any, when we asked for more towels again they said they had none washed at all Our toilet stopped flushing and even after informing the front desk and asking for a plunger or someone to come look at it nobody came The wall outlets were broken and the frame on the outlet wasn’t even connected to the wall anymore, just resting and fell off if anything touched it The bathroom door knob was loose and continuously would completely come off of the door and we’d have to snap it back on The front desk people were very nice and had great mannerism but that is the only good thing I have to say about our entire stay

Mel Ram

Tyree at the front desk was what all hotels need She welcomed me and my family as if we belong to herI asked to view a room before checking in and she didn’t exchange words

I appreciate how warm and pleasant she was not to mention beautiful!!If she is not the property manager she needs to be She took time and walked us to our room She checked on us during our stay and that made us feel like familyThe grounds were kept well and the room where clean The rooms where a great size and that was important to us due to family illnessThank you Tyree for being amazing! We will be back and soon

Nice hotel , close to the airport We took one of the larger suites 2 queen – one bedroom and living area Rooms are spacious with full kitchen

Did not use the kitchen though Breakfast was quite a good spread too Good if you need something closer to the airport The manager Louis was a very kind and helpful man who kept our bags in his office and allowed us to leave the car parked until we returned in a week The staff was polite , enthusiastic and happy to help

J

It wasn’t terrible

I had alot of little gripes but nothing egregious I couldn’t contact the front desk because the room phone didn’t work The shower curtain had more tears than my jeans The toilet paper didn’t have a holder to spin it in place I had to find a creative way to hang it up The ottoman in the living room had a big hole in it, which you can only notice if you move it out from under the desk Probably the most annoying thing was that the water temperature in the shower doesn’t go beyond lukewarm Other than that it’s clean and comfortable with really friendly staff Just a bit run down of a place

Finch Dunkin

I travel 70%for work and stay exclusively at Hilton properties This location seems really nice and I enjoyed the first few nights The staff is really nice

But, the location experiences a lot of crime/ vandalism on the weekends My truck was broken into and the front desk tells me that it happens nearly every night So disappointing They have security that comes by for 10 minutes every 2-3 hours The security guy stopped by and said the police might not respond It took almost 2 hours for the police to show up Basically, save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere

This is a very good Holiday Inn Express location I had a minor issue during check-in, but the staff remedied my issue immediately The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest

The complimentary breakfast was good, but had very little fruit and healthy choice food optionsThe road leading to the hotel had an extreme amount of potholes that were very large, so be very careful driving to the hotel Overall, this was a good stay

Rich n Sue

Great guest service staff Good recommendation for local pizza pick-up Our beds were super comfy

The room was clean and all toiletries were available The room and the hotel breakfast seating need refreshing, Im sure with the close proximity to the airport they stay real busy Breakfast was ready promptly at 6:30 which we appreciated! Food choices were the usual faire for Holiday Inn Express We saw the pool being used, it looked very clean and welcomingwe just didn’t have the time! Refresh the tired furniture and bedroom carpet and you’ve still a winner!

The Change Agent

I made this reservation but I was skeptical at first I’ve heard some not so good news about this brand I was impressed

The 2 men that were at the front desk were very polite and nice, they treated everyone with the same energy they were genuine in their interactions they were not fake They really made me feel welcome I am a Travel Agent and I have told everyone I know to go there when they are in Houston The room and the hotel is clean smells good and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave It is super quiet it felt like I was the only person in my floor I’ll be back on tomorrow and I can’t wait to see how clean and decent my room will be oh and the breakfast it the bomb, you get a variety of a lot of food and beverages and no one rushes you or looks at you funny if you want seconds This is my go to spot It used to be Marriott but not any more Thank you Holida Inn

This was a great hotel The rooms are huge and clean, but the best part is the staff The staff when I checked in in the evening and out in the morning were so extremely friendly and helpful

I’m not a fan of the Houston area I was here for work and a coworker had the catalytic converter stolen off his truck while he was at hotel in Houston (not this one) a few weeks ago However, I felt pretty safe leaving my car in the parking lot They have a bunch of cameras set up and a big TV behind the counter that shows the live feeds Overall a great stay!

Seror

I can’t express how our stay here was amazing!!This Place was great, it feels like it was new construction and you were the first person in that room!!The best part was their door closed at 10 pm and if you don’t have a key you cannot get inside, which made us feel very safe over there! The breakfast had many options and was freshly cooked, everything was perfect I can’t find one thing to complain about!

Naiesha Haynes

I had made reservations with the night staff at this location instead of booking online Which I will NEVER DO AGAIN I made reservations a day before my actual check in

Check- in day it was a lot of mistakes made by the night employee which caused me to not be able to check in to the room he assigned to me I was in total distress from the long drive from my travel and from not able to check-in from when I made prior reservations The young lady at the front desk name Monica was very professional, patient & understanding Her management WORKED OUT EVERYTHING to get me a room My stay turned out great The establishment was really clean & the room was very cozy! Thanks again Monica for your help!!!

They are also a little outdated with the popcorn ceilings Our room was also a little dirty when we arrived There was some food crumbs on the floor, and what I think was a booger, on the bathroom door handle The staff and service was amazing They made us feel welcome The amenities were excellent The pool/jacuzzi area was awesome The weight room was nice also There is a business/computer room also But no complementary breakfast We arrived Wednesday and left on Sunday The hotel was nice and quiet until Friday night when the party crowd showed up Friday and Saturday night people were running up and down the halls, shouting and yelling late into the night, at least until 10:30-11:00pm It almost sounded like people were fighting I was happy that they had a security guard in the parking lot In the end it was a nice place, but I don’t think I would stay there again I think it might be slightly overpriced for the experience 4 stars

This hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport There is plenty of parking there I like the simple interaction with the receptionists

They are behind a podium looking desk, plain and simple It’s kind of unique There are enough elevators placed through this hotel that you don’t have to do long walks to find the next elevator The room number boards are well designed with a combination of color background that it is easy to read the numbers That caught my eye The restaurant is nice The waiters are nice and courteous The rooms are spacious and have very soft pillows That was worth the price of the room This hotel is very clean and well maintained I would recommend this hotel and will stay there myself again

Overall I’ve had a good experience for the price that you pay I am paying $100/night for a single King bed and it’s been a great experience so farEvery night my room has been cleaned and sheets have been changed including bath towels

I actually very much appreciate the legit security that they have throughout 7pm-4am every night They have an official state police officer observing the parking lot checking if every guest has their key card to prove they are a guest of the hotelThat little thing made my experience here 5 star vs 4 starI appreciate the business putting in the extra effort to make sure my car is safe and my family is safe inside the hotelGreat work guys!!!

Very clean hotel There is a complimentary breakfast that was just perfect for our stay If you want to spend money on a more extensive menu, go about a half a mile South

But overall no complaints The staff from housekeeping to the front desk was exceptional This might be the nicest, most friendly staff I have encountered at any hotel and I have stay at dozens and dozens of different hotels around the countryIn terms of location, you do need a car to get around However, for being a big city it is easy to navigate Staying near the airport is convenient for cutting down on travel timel to catch a flight and dropping off a rental car There is also a nice little salt water pool that is not crowded if you are staying during the week I would be happy to stay here again

Fantastic location for resting before an early morning flight Exceptionally clean with modern furnishings Plenty of parking

Awesome water pressure and temperature in the shower Most importantly, incredibly honest staff Left a sentimental necklace behind and the housekeeping staff secured it for its eventually delivery to me Truly good people work here

I travel a lot and am a diamond level with Hilton This hotel doesn’t provide the services that are paid for, then Hilton and this hotel don’t respond to the issues I paid for premium room with snacks/drinks

Nothing was in the room (hotel uses the Covid excuse) and when trying to deal with it with the front desk, that person was overwhelmed with other things and couldn’t assist So, I paid for items that I never received Also, as a diamond member I should get a credit for food/drinks in the restaurant I didn’t receive that credit I’d advise business travelers to avoid this hotelUpdate:I wrote a review regarding services paid for and not received, and items that should have been provided based on status, but not received I’ve tried contacting the hotel and going through Hilton Honors, and still have not received any sort of direct reply (over 2 weeks now) Instead this hotel chooses to go the route that shows they have poor management that avoids the issues and demonstrates they lack skills in customer service Instead of correcting the issues, the management replies to the review by providing a canned response that lacks sincerity or care This issue is about services paid for, yet not received So, to step of things, maybe a fraud charge will need to be made with AMEX to escalate the issue Since the hotel fails to respond to me directly, it appears using online reviews is the only way to contact them I tried to get this issue corrected directly and do this the right way, but this hotel definitely shows they don’t care about their customers and will discard issues

1 Airport shuttle did not show after three calls to the hotel and waiting for 20+ minutes2 No toothbrushes or basic toiletries available without purchase

In my experience hotels have always offered this feee – toothbrush, razor, toothpaste Toothpaste available for purchase but “out of toothbrushes” To me, if a hotel has an agreement with an airline to host guests overnight with a voucher, they should expect that some of their guests will not have all of their toiletries3 Air conditioner in my room does not work, carpet feels sticky, wall AC unit completely came apart in two whole pieces

If I could give zero stars I would Went on a 6 day vacation and parked my car here You’d think I’d be able to have peace of mind considering they stated they have 24/7 security and it’s a fairly busy hotel and I parked right out front

However that wasn’t the case I came back from my trip only to find that my catalytic converter was stolen! Cut right off my car When I went in the office all they said was sorry and that it’s happened in the past Please save yourself a 500-2k charge by not parking here! Lesson learned

The hotel is clean and quiet and the room is a nice size The staff is very pleasant and courteous Our only concern is the sliding door for the bathroom (not an issue for us but it might be if you are staying with children or a coworker)

The breakfast is hot with pastries too FYI the shuttle does not run during the early afternoon We will stay here again

What Gas

Let me start by saying my stay was comfortable and the staff was one of the friendliest However, there were few things made me give it that rating

1st, the bathroom door was a sliding door that exposed about an inch gap on both ends of the door making it easy for someone passing by to see inside Zero privacy The breakfast was very slimed down but it is a good start to the day

My stay here was the best experience I’ve had at a hotel The staff was extremely friendly and kept my room very clean and homey I am especially appreciative of Heather who went the extra mile in making sure that I was well accommodated when something went wrong with my flight

She didn’t have to go above and beyond but she did and for that I highly recommend staying here 5 out of 5 stars!!

The stay was terrible the toilet was broken I ask the front desk can we be move to another room or get a refund to go somewhere else he told us no and hung up I explained to him that the toilet needed to be Flush he told me to get a pot and fill the tank up with water and flush it myself after telling him I’m not doing that after going backwards and forwards with him he came and did it it was horrible we was using the restroom on top of each other mess

With the exception of no restaurant/food service or bar, minor shower door issue and false alarm to evacuate at after 06:00 am issueJose was polite with a speedy check-in My room was beautiful with modern decor, crisp clean and eco friendly features

Giving good vibes of a comfortable relaxing stay

The breakfast is $5 and is very limited Make yourself a waffle, bread or yogurt was the basic offering I saw The restaurant and bar was not open during our stay

I assume this is left over from Covid times Does not look like the are prepared to be open anytime soon IMPORTANT: They do not offer shuttle service to IAH as the website states I did have an odd charge but the front desk in the morning took care of it quickly and efficiently

Pictures can be deceiving This hotel was not what my co-worker and I expected It started with driveway leading up to hotel had enormous potholes

Make it inside and they are having plumbing issues, WiFi goes in and hotel so the room keys (cards) doesn’t always open your room door Bring your own pillow cause they are flat and no support My ac in my room made loud gurgling noise like it was on its way out I believe this hotel is in a bad part of town You would see people hanging out and walking around the parking lot drinking beer in a brown bag Nope- never again!
