We were hotel hopping in New Orleans and found this great place right next to or in the French quarter actually This was a great fun place to stay for a night my family enjoyed the place There is no pool but that’s OK because we’re not here to swim

Walking to all of the things that we were interested in was no problem It actually took 2 to 3 times longer because we saw so much other stuff we had to stop and grab some great photos and some tremendously good food I would definitely stay here again

The atmosphere is wonderful at the Cambria Very polite and helpful staff Rooms are comfortable and neat

Food was also very affordable and delicious The bar is a great place to hang out and talk with others The bartender Renee is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside with great personality She gave wonderful tips of things to do and see Definitely will recommend to others!

I decided to stay here because I had a terrible experience at a different hotel and had to leave The staff at Cambria are incredibly kind, especially Sharon who made our stay amazing! Sharon was so caring and really went above and beyond to make sure that we felt safe and taken care of The rooms were spacious and very clean

We even received text messages from the hotel to make sure that we were doing alright and to see if we needed anything like new towels The hotel is in a great area and I would recommend anyone stay here!

I really loved staying at the Jung Hotel! Check in was easy I thought it was appropriately priced for the location, considering it is a hotel in the French Quarter I liked the layout of the hotel room

I appreciated the location of the safe – super hard to find The bathroom was also really nice, probably the most impressive bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel Just very modern and sleek Not having a shower door was kind of jarring but I got used to it! The only complaint I had was that the cleaning service was pretty nonexistent from what I could tell Towels were never replaced, beds were never made We were only there 3 nights so not sure if that had something to do with it Overall, great stay for the price

I visited the Jung Hotel during the week everything shut down during the 2020 pandemicWe had an absolute lovely time during our stay The hotel is very beautiful

Someone plays the piano in the lobby We got a free alcoholic drink with our stay from the bar We got a free tour of the art on the property & the concierge did a fantastic job She also helped us with arrangements around the city & did a great job with recommendations The restaurant in the hotel is award winning & we could tell why The food was spectacularThe room was super nice and spaciousReally close walking to Bourbon Street Located right in front of the trolley

This is a nice pet friendly hotel set back off the main road so it is quiet Only noise is that the doors are extremely loud You are near lots of restaurants, groceries, shopping etc

Staff is very nice and helpful Room was cleaned well, shower has great temp and pressure, bed was comfortable-pillows are on the small size The TV is set up in an awkward corner just so your aware You are about 25-30 min to New Orleans Overall it is a good value for your stay and breakfast was decent variety

Disgusting run down hotel Under construction and in terrible condition inside and out Room was dirty

Plaster under TV, stains on couch Chips in tub 3 TVs in room, and none of them worked No ice machine worked in the whole hotel AC in gym was broken, so had to workout in 89 degree heat at almost midnight Area around hotel is dangerous at night, so no possibility of running outside alone Laundry room had trash all over the floor Obviously not cleaned in weeks Location is horrible Nothing around Nowhere to walk safely Front desk personnel were kind and came right away to fix my TVs when called Only positive I can give

Kirk Reid

Undergoing some renovations on the hotel exterior entrance but inside the hotel lobby & the rooms are very clean Good food & beverage choices offered for continental breakfast Location is off the main street but a short walk to restaurants & fast food

Apparently no one else could either bc the neighbors on both sides of us had theirs SUPER loud Overall the stay was good

Location is very important when staying in the French Quarter so this hotel did not disappoint We had several rooms at the hotel for family members and everyone felt the same with the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds The hotel is small and only has one elevator but I never waited long

The service was amazing and Ms Shelly was extremely nice and hospitable to everyone I don’t recall the other staff members names but those young ladies who worked in the evenings were just as nice and professional The housekeeping is not done during your stay due to Covid but anything you need the front desk accommodated I will definitely stay here again

This place is a freshly painted dump!Walk in, seems fine as pictured I get closer to the window and start seeing white spots on floor I let front desk know (after receiving a nice welcome text from them) and they responded that it was dried up paint

It wasn’t, it was I paint chips that weren’t properly cleaned The chips cleaned with very minimal effort if you scratch it with your nail, which shows the complete lack of effort by the hotel to properly clean the propertyNext is the obvious paper thin walls, I decided to give it chance and of course I got the room next to the elevator THIS WAS HORRIBLE Constant loud noise from the only tiny elevator available, so it’s non stop all day up until 1am for our stay, then it woke us up again at around 6:30 If anyone is having a conversation outside the elevator you can hear it CLEARLYLastly the worst part, was the smell There’s an unbearable smell in our floor (I didn’t visit any other floors) and even stronger in the room It comes from everywhere specially the AC, and the underside of the sink cabinet I opened the cabinet looking for cups and I got blasted with a terrible smell The underside of the cabinet was stained and had a vinyl sheet, under that sheet there was MOLD Not JUST brown mildew, not JUST water stains, BLACK moldy wood under peeling paint We slept on the bed closest and the smell was making my head hurtIt’s obvious this is a quick cash minimal expense project All walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, are painted one same color, but no bother painting the smaller closet They didn’t even bother to remove electrical plates and the old color still shows, and some plates were too small and there’s holes behind Old everything was left and not in a good stylish way The sink cabinet was painted on the outside and the inside was left uncleaned with an extremely foul smell from issues mentioned above Terrible restroom design you can’t turn the shower water on without being entirely in the shower There’s a general quick cheap feeling to the entire room Floors are LOUD there’s no going in the restroom quietly at night everyone in the room will know you’re goingAvoid if possible!EDIT: I had to contact the hotel over the phone regarding some accidental double charges, and they were very helpful about it While on the phone with the manager (Jose Galindo) he came across my review and fully refunded me for my stay without me asking for a refund once He was understanding about my issues so I know he at least had some empathy, but I have no idea if the physical in-room issues were resolved

Patricia Sicinski

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect from everything we wanted to do The longest walk was about 13 minutes to get to the one cemetery tour Bourbon street is about 3 minutes around the corner

The river front is maybe 5 or 6 minutes up the street All in all its close to a lot The desk staff was always warm and friendly and willing to chat when not busy Our room was larger with two bedroom sections However the first room with the desk was just so dark Not enough lighting The main rooms bed was super comfortable Yes the walls aren’t sound proof so you can hear a lot of footsteps and muffled talking The water pressure isn’t the best but honestly that’s all over down here The charm of this place out numbers any of that It’s a great clean place to rest up after exploring

The staff was very friendly and nice Even the over night staff was very nice and friendly I did breakfast every morning at 6:00am and the was met with a friendly and heartwarming “good morning” every morning

It was during the Essence fest and I believe one of the young ladies actually attended the Janet Jackson concert the night before It didn’t let out until almost 1am Then for her to have to turn around and be back to the hotel just a few hours later to make sure the breakfast was ready to go for 6am was amazing She may have been tired but was still really pleasantThe hotel was really clean and my room was too Over all I enjoyed my stay and had a great time I will stay there again

Kitchen Staff needs to be more customers service oriented The employee seemed mad all the timesRoom service should be offered more often for long stays

Front desk were niceNote: Please remove services you don’t have available to avoid misleading communications Like the pool which has been closed since March 2021This was our first time ever in New Orleans and we are very disappointed We don’t plan to be back again nor recommend it

Julie Healon

Our original thought was to stay in the French quarters But with the ridiculous pricing for parking we’ve decided to stay on the outskirts at this hotel with free parkingCheck in with fairly quick

They gave us some waters, cookies, and some king cake But nothing was labeled, so I can not eat it It was nice, thoughUnfortunately they do not have any rooms on the 1st floor So we got the 2nd floor The room was pretty small but clean There’s really no view outside except for the parking lot We have a soft travel shell on top of our car that I was really worried about But it went undisturbed all nightEveryone was friendly, from the staff to the other guests I won’t lie; we were the only white people around I mean, we literally saw no other white people Which I don’t mind But, I was a little worried that we would be treated like outsiders We were treated just like anybody else Everyone is just so nice When my husband checked in, he told the girl I had a terrible migraine, and when he went back down for something, she asked how I was That was super sweetIt’s pretty quiet around We didn’t hear too much noise in the halls or from other rooms The bed was decent A little firm for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference Overall, it was a good stay

So rare to find such a great hostel in the US! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is super personable and helpful, the bar always has good vibes, and the free breakfast is much appreciated The Quisby feels like a family guesthouse more than a hostel, and the only downside is the slightly long walk to the French Quarter (the streetcar stops directly outside, however)

Kelsey Reid

My first stay at a hostel just to hold me over until I could get to a relative’s house Last min trip, low on extra funds I fell asleep on the top bed right away in a 4 bed co-ed suite

I felt safe the entire time but would definitely be sure I book a female suite beforehand and bring a lock for the luggage locker I was with all males, eeek! Only came to the room to sleep, but still risky The young lady running the bar was very friendly and efficient with the numerous people in the lobby area Unlimited coffee and free bagel was super helpful and kept me productive all day in the lobby area The location & price was perfect Expect to park on the street as the site says I recommended you go the site to read the FAQs before hopping on a 3rd party site because some reviews people say they didn’t know things that were made plain on the site You really can’t beat the price and I didn’t expect anything else like the free drink and coffee I would def stay again

Jesús J. López Fernández

I’ve been to a number of hostels in my life and let’s just say that The Quisby has some homework to do While understanding that this is budget accommodation, there’s plenty of things that don’t cost money at all and would definitely improve the whole experience- the rooms are minimal but clean and practical; my one comment would be concerning the annoying sound that comes when flushing the toilet and that goes on for minutes or hours

It is so loud that it makes it difficult to sleep at times- it is awesome that the hostel does house cleaning, but I found it strange that even if I awkwardly bumped into the staff inside my room twice, the soap dispenser was empty since day one and throughout my 5 nights in the hotel, plus I didn’t find the room particularly cleaner- much of the staff is young and inexperienced, and it shows You will often find members of the staff engaging into arguments with each other or being somewhat discourteous with guests In particular, there were a couple situations with a male receptionist who took the night shift and we would have to basically wake him up and remind him that breakfast was supposed to be served at 8AM (to which we got an “oh shit” for an answer) It was also particularly upsetting from this particular person when we had to take a call late at night and went down to the hall only to find him hanging out with other people and being so noisy (loud music and all) that it was literally impossible to take the callI think it’s fair to stress as well the gentleness of whom I believe was the janitor, looking after the guests and ensuring everything’s alright Breakfast is really good too, with fine bagels, fruit and coffee

I booked a room for one night at this location and had to cancel due to a flight cancellation My flight was cancelled the night before my stay so I called to reschedule for the following week They informed me that no rooms were available the following week so I asked if I could cancel my stay

After about one hour on the phone, they finally said they would cancel my reservation Initially they said that they wouldn’t be able to cancel since it was short notice, but my flight was cancelled due to weather and it was out of my control After they ‘consulted’ with a manager, they said I would be refundedNext week roles around and I booked another Hilton in the area (about 5 min away) I saw that they did end up having availability for my new stay, since I would be able to book the same room I had originally booked, so I don’t understand why they told me that they didn’t have availability Possibly they didn’t want to refund me or rescheduleIt has been over 2 months since my scheduled stay and I have yet to receive a refund on my initial cancellation I would have rescheduled for the following week, but they were either misinformed or intentionally lied to force the payment since I had to reschedule Either way, this location does not appreciate their customers and I will question future stays at Hilton hotels They still have my money for a night I did not stay and I have been unsuccessful in getting a refund Avoid this location if possible There are many other better hotels in the area

I’ll only state the facts based on my own personal experience at this Hilton Homewood suites location My family and I are currently temporarily relocated to the Gretna La Hilton Homewood suites from off base military housing due to extensive Hurricane Ida damage to our home We were given a 2-3 week timeframe for our Hilton Homewood suites hotel stay

For the record, I am a night time shift worker and sleep during the day My family and I have found it especially difficult for me to have any type of quality sleep while my family is awake during the daytime I’m truly only writing this review because since 2018, I have ALSO been a Hilton honors DIAMOND member With that said, I requested a Hilton Honors Diamond member upgrade ONLY due to my day time sleep schedule or lack thereof Yesterday morning, I spoke directly with the front desk at 0800L and then was directly transferred to Hilton reservation’s at approx 0820L on 24 July 22, who then guaranteed WITH the Gretna Hilton Homewood suites front desk that a 2 bedroom Queen suite, (which once AGAIN would allow for me to sleep during the day in a separate, “closed door,” bedroom) This would have given me the opportunity to get some quality sleep during the day, and not have my family going out of their way to remain quiet) was available and booked!!! I remained in contact with the front desk, who stated that if it was okay for my family and I to wait until the 2 bedroom Queen suite was cleaned and that she would call me back at 1530L to confirm that the room as cleaned and ready to go No problem! At 1430L my family and I completely packed up all of our 1 King bedroom’s belonging’s and, after being called from the front desk, at approx 1545L, my daughter and I went to the front desk and were given a key We ended up walking into the EXACT SAME 1 KING BEDROOM SUITE THAT WE PACKED EVERYTHING up from!!!!!! I immediately phoned the front desk and the on site manager stated that “she knew NOTHING about my circumstances nor the upgrade!!!!!????? Better yet, had no knowledge of my my earlier phone call through Hilton reservation’s directly!!!!! In the end, my family and I had to drag all of our belongings back to our “original”1 bed King suite accommodation???!!!

They really worked with us after we had a problem with our Airbnb We had two dogs, and were just visiting NOLA for Easter They didn’t even charge us the pet fee, and allowed us to check in at 9am instead of in the afternoon

They also gave us a room on the top floor The customer service was top notch, the bedding and room was clean (including the bathtub which is usually dirty at most hotels), and the breakfast was great I plan to come back and stay there next time we are in NOLA

They saved my vacation! I was 19 trying to find a quiet place to stay during a break from college, the hotel I had previously booked with denied check in (fine print 21) and barely returned my deposit This La Quinta was the only hotel to be kind enough to accept us for the three day trip The rooms were perfect, staff were amazing, and they made our trip possible

I will only stay at this location for all future trips, thank you guys!

So, I get the feeling that the manager Tony is one of those type of people that looks down on his own people who he feels displays “undesirable” behaviors I came from Wyndham, which is where I am a timeshare owner, but my week was up and I needed one additional night, so I booked at LaQuinta I arrived around 1:50 which is about 1 hour before check-in which is around 3pm

The front desk took my id and credit card info and said that my room would be ready shortly and that I could check in early I waited for about 15 minutes and still no room I decided to start eating my food which was crab legs and seafood fried rice while I was sitting down I was eating the food already for 15 minutes when one of the workers went and told the manager that I was eating it and then he walked over and told me I couldn’t eat the seafood inside I told him that it was fine I was almost finished anyway and I could just finish it when I checked in my room Then he says that his hotel had a no seafood policy and that I’m not allowed to eat it in my room or I’ll be charged a fine I asked him why wasn’t this in the agreement that I signed and why wasn’t I told this at the time they took my credit card? He had no answer Basically he was assuring me that I would be charged even if I bought the food to my room and there was no proof that I was eating it He was completely rude and wanted to argue with me back and forth I asked him if I would be charged even if I bought it to my room but didn’t eat it He insinuated that I would eat it so they would charge me anyway and he instructed the front desk clerk to put a note on my account to be sure to charge me He was out of line and rude This is New Orleans where people come here for the seafood and even some hotels serve seafood in their restaurants Telling a guess they can’t eat seafood on their room without being charged a fine was completely unreasonable and unrealistic Furthermore I don’t think Tony the manager, would have said that to any other guest unless they were guest of color People need to realize that you can be prejudiced against your own kind I feel that Mr Toni targeted me because I am a black woman who was wearing an Afro-puff at that time and I was sitting in the hotel lobby cracking open crab legs, and he wanted to make an example out of me

Stella Debarros

Going to a wedding in New Orleans May 6 Twice this hotel has canceled our reservation without any notification No call and no email to state cancellation

Today I called to check in on my latest reservation and it was canceled No rooms available and no explanation I am left with having to go and find another place to stay because they can’t figure out why they canceled our reservation Unbelievable! I am very very disappointed I did file a report with Customer Care

Room 718 I’m convinced has mold or some other allergen My sister and I stayed 5 nights On the second night it was so bad we could not breathe

The front desk moved us to room 709 which had an air purifier It was better but still bad Bellmen, valet, front desk staff were very nice The location was great and the hotel looks very nice 50$ nightly for incidentals 10$ nightly for a preservation fee (please read the fine print) If they are charging to preserve the building they could do a better job Overall, I would not stay here again The air quality in those rooms are horrible Been to many hotels in my travels and this is something I’ve never experienced

Absolutely wonderful experience! Stayed for just one night but in that short time was treated the best I have ever been at a hotel Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful Made it seems as it was a pleasure to do their job to make make my experience as comfortable and positive as possible

The men and women of the valet especially were great and welcoming Hotel is beautifully decorated and elegant Room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated as well Would stay here again given experience and location

So, I first went to Le Pavilion over 10 years ago – it was beautiful (and still is in some ways) in an old world sort of way The lobby is glorious, and the rooms felt old and lived in and early America It’s a haunted hotel, although I’m sad I haven’t seen a ghost

It may be because about 5 or so years ago they renovated all the rooms, modernizing and sanitizing them, and they lost that old world charm It’s sort of sad that it feels like a Holiday Inn now The lobby is still spectacular, but the rooms are bland Sadly the pool was closed while we were there, and the front desk wasn’t very friendly We inquired when we checked in about a military discount because it wasn’t available to select when we booked, but then the person at the front desk said that we needed to do that when we booked – well, then I guess you don’t give a military discount since it’s not possible to get it Let’s just leave it at that, shall we? Nonetheless, I had some wonderful experiences in the past at Le Pavilion, including the fruit basket in my room the 2nd time I went back that had a card that read “Welcome Back, Mr Meek” I still remember that little gesture, and it still makes me smile But that was then, and I don’t think we’ll be staying at Le Pavilion anymore It’s not the same, although I will miss the PB&J happy hour, which is a nice holdover from before all the renovations

Absolutely love everything about this hotel Great staff!! It’s right across the street from the casino didn’t even know when I book Your right in the heart of everything

Bourbon St isn’t too far from this hotel at all Rooms are clean & well kept Room service was great, we had a two night stay When we got back our room had been cleaned, restocked with everything River view was great All charges were told up front no surprise Definitely will be back

Katie Rages

Good location but room was somewhat run-down The air conditioning was not keeping up but not quite bad enough to be worth changing rooms Pool was nice but be aware it’s in the shade in the afternoon

You will be charged a hefty fee to self-park (because the valet section is full or under construction or something?), but don’t worry, the five valet guys standing around will be happy to go self park for you for $20 Good location to explore the French Quarter and the Riverwalk outlet mall though!

This is a great little hotel The rooms are attractive and clean, designed to maximize the amount of space The bathroom is beautiful

The outside area, with a small pool and regular-sized hot tub, has everything that an adult might want to have a nice evening after a night on the town There’s a coffee machine, a bottle of bitters, even a half pack of smokes someone left It’s thoughtfully put together, like hanging out at someone’s house I would love to stay here again in the future

Laura Lee

This inn is spectacular The pictures and descriptions cannot do proper justice The room and outdoor area was very clean and accommodating

Our Elvis room was perfect The decor, high ceilings, furniture, and large windows were outstanding Very close to more tourist areas, but far enough to escape traffic and noise There is a bus stop one block away, making for easy transportation to and from several places in the city We’re looking forward to staying here again and again! So glad we stumbled upon this listing Thanks Kelly!

Beautiful hotel with a rooftop pool and hot tub Love the breakfast, cocktails, and dinner included with the stay Felt very secure due to having to use your room key to get basically everywhere

Bed was very comfortable Shower could use more water pressure but it was still a great place to stay Location was amazing We were able to walk to Bourbon Street every night to enjoy the festivities

I love Drury Hotels because of the service, cleanliness, and prices This one in particular is a beautiful hotel Our suite was roomy and comfortable

The free breakfast and kick backs are great perks We loved the location Close to the St Charles streetcar and easy walking to the French Quarter, yet far enough away from the crowds and craziness What really makes this place special, however, is the staff Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to help and answer questions Special thanks to Pat and Jamie who were exceptional Jamie especially is a gem and seeing her each day was a joy!

My wife and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary in New Orleans by spending 7 nights at this excellentHotel What made this Hotel exceptional was the management and their excellent staff The GM provided us with an upgraded room which went a long way in making our stay more comfortable

Both himself and staff congratulated us several times The room was VERY clean and unlike some of the hotels in the area they provided daily cleaning if desired The location was excellent easy walking to every place we went We definitely would consider returning to this hotel

Check-in was easy and all details were emailed to me the morning of our arrival The decor is modern and spacious and it was perfect for my family The only negative is that there was a bit of hair inside of the bedsheets and I had to throughly inspect/disinfect the beds to remove the traces of hair

I would simply recommend that more emphasis is placed on hair removal during cleaning However, once the hair issue was resolved, my family and I enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable during our stay

Monique DARPY

Very nice apartments Very well located in the business district just a few blocks away from French square Nicely decorated

Only critic the kitchen was poorly equipped in utensils not enough plates, silverware, bowls, no potholders to remove things from the oven and the washing machine only worked on hot water and did not spin well

Joseph Raczynski

Much better than expected Modern, clean rooms living inside a historic building Brick exposed, open, and very well appointed

One semi challenge is the noise from the hallways to the rooms Everything seems to carry into the units, way more than you would think Also, oddly, you can feel the footfalls of people in the hallways while on your couch The boards from the floors must run across the entire building They’ve tried to compensate for this with soft flooring in the hallways

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I’m sure! The hotel service and staff were very accommodating We had a family emergency and the hotel management handled everything and made our stay comfortable and carefree Thank you for the very clean room, hotel hospitality, good restaurant food and great customer service I will definitely visit again!!!

dolly Salcedo (Dollface)

Room was clean did have an issue with the toilet first it was leaking then it wouldn’t flush but both issues were resolved the same day Relatively close to everything, did see a lot of homeless people around the park front of hotel, cable car stop and bus stop next to hotel Overall service was good

The pool was open which was great because I had been informed after I had booked that it was closed Do wish the pool was bigger though, it was more of a watering hole size no deeper than 45 feet So there was a family the size of 9 and another group of 3 people and that pretty much took over the pool leaving no actual room for swimming

Rachel Kahler

Our initial room had a clogged sink The staff were super prompt getting maintenance to the room, and when they were unable to fix the sink, they immediately got us a new room The maintenance guys were super helpful in getting us new keys while we gathered our stuff

The bar is a great feature of the hotel The rooms themselves were pretty basic, which was what we expected They were clean and the bed was comfortable However, the toilet was a bit wobbly, which I suspect is due to replacing an old toilet with a slightly different sized one, and one of the bolt holes on the floor was slightly too big or the bolt was loose Also, the shower curtain rod was curved while the tub wasn’t No big deal, but it meant that the curtain tended to slide open on either end The curtain still kept the water in, but it made me a bit paranoid that I was making the floor wet

Hotel beautifully decorated Staff niceNegative -Room thermostat a/c locked at 72, room was stuffy

Room windows open and neighbors took the opportunity to smoke a couple blunts AC sucked it straight into our room Fold out couch bed linens weren’t changed, had dirty sock in it Tissues were empty in bathroom Located within a couple hundred feet of highway overpasses Positives-very nicely decorated hotel located less than 5 miles from the Carnival Cruise Port

Not Dr Strange

I’m a huge Marriott fan I go out of my way to book these hotels and I’ve stayed at this one before But this experience was the most disappointing Courtyard stay

These are good hotels but not this oneThe staff was top notch though so this isn’t about themIt’s everything else The room is poorly layed out Light switches for the bathroom are behind doors & difficult to findAnd my room wasn’t cleaned the entire 6 days I was there I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t service a room for 6 days straight Even in the post pandemic, save the water times That’s excessive I’m going to avoid this place next time I’m in NOLA

Cori Frede

I was in town for a convention this week and stayed at this Courtyard All the people were really nice and the room was cleanI saw a few reviews mentioning the AC not going low but I didn’t have any problems

I was able to turn it down and actually ended up turning it back up a few degrees because it got really cold in the roomMy room looked over the pool and it looked beautiful from the window but I didn’t have time to walk out there so I can’t say about the actual weather qualityThe one morning I had a delicious breakfast but the second day the registers were having technical issues so they couldn’t serve any food, not even if your paid cash which seemed a little oddJust a note, you have to walk into the parking garage to reach the entrance That is the main/only entrance

Hotel is making a huge effort towards cleanliness Which I greatly appreciate The staff friendly and helpful, lobby nice and clean, breakfast was very good, and the room majority of it was clean (bathroom, foyer area, etc

) But the carpet in the rooms either needs to be cleaned or removed The odor and stains on the carpet were very apparent, seen and smelt

Shirl Bennett

I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that helped us We were on a road trip and my friend wanted to stop and see the tanks in the museum which was close the next day All the hotels in the area seemed booked

He happened to share with the nice lady at the front best our dilemma and also his desire to see the museum and the fact that we were only passing through and if we couldn’t stay in the area he wouldn’t be able to go in the morning We stopped there around 10pm She called another place for us and found out they were booked too There were many people still living there that homes were effected during the resent storms Also crews working in the area to help repair the city Without our knowledge she called the hotel manager and was given permission to let us have one of the room the had been reserved by a corporation but was still empty (By this time it was almost 11pm) A double room was around $200 The pool was still being repaired The free breakfast was great The room was clean and the beds were comfortable

Storm

After staying here I realized unfortunately my choice to stay here actually was unfortunateThe staff was incredibly rude at check in Not to mention the amount of disrespect that they exhibited as they check me in

I felt very rushed and treated as if I did not matter The carpet had disgusting red stains and the bathroom was not clean I chose to ignore and clean myself as I had already felt enough disrespect The breakfast was very unappealing and staff was doing laundry on the dinning tables The location is just ok the pool is very small Elevators are extremely slow and dirty

Hotel is nice Clean I’m normally not one to complain about anything, and maybe it’s just because I’m awake at 4:30am burning up, but for $200 a night you should be able to control the temperature of your room

Also, if you drink something besides juice, you might want to bring it with you because they don’t sell it Then when you wake up from sweating, in the middle of the night, the constant light flashing in the smokealarm will keep youcompany If you stay here, I hope you game better luck

Crystal

Shower did not work The knob that creates the temperature was broken and constantly changed during the shower No complimentary toiletries were in the room at arrival

No shower cap, lotion etc which was odd We stayed 3 nights The second night I heard housekeeping outside the room and went to ask for towels The lady asked if I would like my room cleaned? I said yes please if that was ok, that would be great She said she will be back to do my room So no towels were given and I never saw the lady again As I walked out for the day I ran into another housekeeper and politely asked will someone still be giving clean towels and refreshing the room as offered? She said ok, yes So basically returned to a dirty room with no clean towels and no explanation The room was already overpriced due the holiday weekend but it just wasn’t worth it

The appearance of this hotel is nice, and it is clean The bed was comfortable except for the thin blanket that was not particularly cozy I only had a $10 bill and was informed that there is no cash on site so that I could break that bill and tip housekeeping

The free breakfast is an insult to hotels that really offer free breakfast It’s obvious that the cereal, shrink wrapped muffins, and strawberry banana — hope you like that flavor — yogurt are purely there so they can advertise free breakfast (see pic) Coffee? I tried to get a cup at 6:30 AM and was able to pull a third of a cup of if the urn before it ran out Noise from the road outside seems to be totally unrestricted within the rooms I was awakened at 5:15 by it, and there wasn’t very much traffic In short, this is a great $80/night hotel that is charging nearly $200 I would not stay here again

Corn powa

The rooms were very clean and in good condition The folks at the front desk were very politeI’d have gave the place five stars, but for one fairly major incident

At almost midnight I was startled by my door being opened by someone with a keycard to my room When I tried to call the front desk to see if I’d have anymore unexpected visitors with cards to my room, no one answered I didn’t want to leave my room to go to the front desk since some stranger had a keycard to my room and would be able to get to my things if I wasn’t there with the flippy catch thing engaged I was tired and didn’t think to just use my cellphone to try calling them that way I ended up staying up much later than I planned and wound up sleeping later than I wanted to affecting my schedule for the next dayI found out in the morning that dialing the front desk from a room phone hadn’t been working for a bit I forget what the woman’s title was at the desk the next morning, but she was apologetic and very polite She said there would be a discussion about giving cards to rooms without verifying who the person is and checking what room they are actually in instead of just giving one to the person to the room they thought they were inI’d consider giving them another chance if I was ever in the area again due to how clean the place was and polite the employees were That middle of the night adrenaline dump will take a bit of time to forgive though
