Great comfy king-size bed and well laid out room but with a noisy air-conditioning unit Good sports bar and traditional restaurant on site and also within walking distance of some other restaurants and hotels The stay was good but it was disappointing to find there was no housekeeping service on a Saturday

However towels and bedsheets were provided for a DIY job The bath tub did not seal but this was promptly attended to by myself with a quick engineering adjustmentValue for money generally good at around $150 a night

So, the hotel is nice, but the front desk is quite disorganized We are staying for a wedding, and the group rate was not a significant discount off the standard rate – so we booked with IHG Points We called up to have our room joined to the group block, and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful – he even informed us that the group rate is less than we were initially told by $35/night

He then offered to book us under the group rate and cancel our IHG Points nights, which we didToday, we have arrived at the hotel, and the nightly rate we are charged is the initial rate ($35/night more than what we were convinced to pay on the phone!!)So, we told the front desk to just use the IHG Points after all, and it will be fine – BUT! – surprise, there are no rooms available to book with points, so we are stuck paying the bait-and-switch rate, costing us $70+tax more overall I’d recommend if you must plan on staying here, keep in mind that the desk staff here are not really aware of what’s going on, so perform all your bookings and adjustments online

Best B.

The rooms are clean and everything is in perfect repair It’s a small thing but I liked that they have the slow closing toilet lids that don’t slam The towels, washcloths, Linens are all clean and bright and thick

The shower is high efficiency but the water is good and hot There is a mini fridge and a microwave and coffee maker and ironing board and hair dryer in the room The television is a large screen flat TV and there is a table and chair to sit and make notes There is no free breakfast but there is an attached restaurant that serves breakfast The front desk was friendly and helpful and they have free newspapers and a pool USB ports are built into the bedside table for recharging phones The pool area is extensive and beautiful

Consistent stellar front desk assistance every time I stay! I need accessibility features, and these rooms have safety bars and benches exactly where I need them When traveling, they give me a sense of the comforts of home Always more than advertised, ALWAYS more than is expected

Every time The deserve more stars than are available!

Nice and clean hotel and the staff always seems friendly and in a good mood I stay here quite a bit for travel for work Sadly might have to look else where as I drive an EV and stayed here cause they let me use there 120 outlet where there was also a parking space

Now with winter they have both spots taken up with snow removal equipment As I am out of town for usually more then a day rather not have it not charging on a cold night Also the sleep number beds are hit and miss on comfort

Terrance Alexander

We stopped at this Radisson for one evening on our drive to Minnesota It was quiet, comfortable, and clean Staff were friendly and helpful and the covid precautions were in full force, even though the state had ended most of them already

Overall it was a pleasant night If there were anything I would change it would be to provide some type of continental breakfast, or at least coffee in the lobby, as the room rates are fairly steep compared to most hotels we’ve stayed at recently

Very dated but room was very clean Pleasant staff, lots of local stores and restaurants nearby Interesting looking adult store next door, luckily the hedges are thick and tall in between the lots

Otherwise the location is very convenient Outdoor areas were a bit dirty after winter with cigarette butts and such Overall a nice value

Appalling!3:30 in the morning and some party on the first floor has been going on for several hours, keeping guests awake all night Hotel management does not seem to careI get the pet friendly thing but that doesn’t mean the place has to smell like a kennel

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever hadI would give this hotel 0 stars but it won’t let meIf this hotel is all you can get as you pass through Rockford, save yourself and keep moving on!

This location has had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in Best night sleep for sure, except for a random alarm going off Front desk took care of it quick

However, check in was a bit of a fiasco, might need more than one employee during check in hours Other than that so quiet, the room was very nice, and like I said The bed is amazing

Karen R.

Before I get into this review, I need you all to understand there is One True Amenity here that matters above all the others

The pancake machine At the press of a button, two pancakes come down a heated conveyor and deliver themselves directly onto your plate I am forever grateful to this hotel for bringing the pancake machine into my lifeThat aside, the hotel is fine – my room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfy The gym is small, but it’s fine – there was no hand sanitizer, wipes, or spray to wipe down the equipment though I wish the rooms had a few more toiletries – makeup remover wipes in the room are always a godsend for me when traveling Theres no restaurant here, but there’s plenty of options nearby, and several restaurants deliver to the hotel (ask for a restaurant sheet at the front desk) I highly recommend Greenfire and Prairie Street Brewing – both fantastic nearby placesThe bathroom didn’t have a tub, so if you’re someone with young kids or if you just want a tub, I’d make sure to ask for a room with a tub when you bookOverall, can’t complain much about my stay! I’d stay here again if (when) work brings me back to Rockford!

I was in Rockford visiting a family member a few days ago, and I needed a quick place to stay Decided to check in at the courtyard and I was pleasantly surprised with the service Front desk man was very polite, the lobby was clean, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable

Housekeeper Tyler was very polite bringing me extra blankets for my room, and overall I felt welcomed and comfortable during my stay

Ashley Kosziwic

We stayed here for a wedding last week and we enjoyed ourselves There were a few issues with the shuttle services Whoever the young lady was working the overnight shift (she didn’t have a name tag) took towels to my mom and she said the girl was really nice to her

We were also down in the lobby pretty late and she was really attentive (and a bit obnoxious) and it was like we weren’t even a bother to her They may want to have housekeeping overnight the hallways were a bit nasty

Beware!

Do not stay here! I am a Choice member and am very fair on reviews given I used my points for 1st night and was charged for 2nd night like it was discussed yet the reservations gave us low quality, leftover, bottom rung of accommodations It was supposed to be a King suite with pullout couchit was not! Once we arrived, the room was not Clean to even just normal standards: walls were dirty, a dirty used wash cloth hanging on shower curtain rod was left, pinch clip to keep curtains closed, main door sticks, and most of all there were bugs on the window sill and sill was dirty as seen in pictures The associate at Comfort in brought down Lysol to take care of the bugs Lysol?!? Quality it is not! Tried to change rooms and they would not allow us; excuses of all booked up was given yet Not all room can be taken by 7pm on a Friday night NOT Recommended; Stay somewhere else Very Disappointed

Tony Ramone

After booking rooms at the super 8 across the street and quickly realizing we made a mistake and needed a room anywhere but there we found the Comfort Inn had rooms The very friendly employee working the desk that night was extremely helpful and put our minds at ease Hotel was very clean, room was very comfortable, four pillows

WHAAAT! Plenty of towels, very cold AC, wi-fi, satellite, and a pool was well worth the extra money considering we thought we might get robbed at the Super 8 down the way Staff was great, breakfast wasn’t overwhelming but fit my diabetic/ keto-ish needs Had a few hot and cold options The only problem I found in our two nights was the ice machine leaks bit they had had multiple signs and towels down to fight that issue, but every ice machine at any job I’ve ever worked with one does that eventually Easy 49 in my book

SECOND REVIEW TO THIS PAGE Someone deleted my first reviewThe manager is rude, and not friendly! I checked-in 3 nights in a row always for 3 weeks straight! I work nights, I sleep during day time and I woke up between 12-1pm bec the staff were noisy! The last week I checked-in here, there was no available king size br on 3rd flr

The manager offered 2 queens on 3rd but i had to pay more! $64, and 2 nights were from $73 became $81! I had to choice but to say yes bec i had to sleep ASAPWhen i tried to use the bathroom, the toilet seat has DRY URINE and ONE PIECE OF HAIR! Disgusting, dirty and unsanitary! When I sat down in the bed, the bed flipped to 35degrees! Of course i had to complain about this bec I had to pay more! When I asked the manager not to charge me extra $$$ per night, he adamantly said “No, I will not give you the regular price If you want i will refund you and you can check-in at 3pm (regular check-in) But I was still asking for inconvenience stuff to give me He said, “Pls be thankful that I allowed you to check-in early” I had no choice and I walked away! When I went to the new room, there was a bug in the room!I will never ever check in to this location!! Manager is very inconsiderate and not flexible!! And VERY RUDE! I believe I deserve for a refund or have free complimentary nights but not to this location

Absolutely loved my stay! We came for a weekend getaway and this place was almost perfect Staff was always extremely friendly and helpful The hotel was kept clean and always smelled fresh

The bed was heaven – seriously couldn’t get enough of this bed I loved being able to cook and do a load of laundry while I stayed here They really do think of everything you need at this hotel The ONLY downside for me was that the hot tub was empty and roped off with caution tape (I was really looking forward to that)

Lisa Smith

The room itself was relatively nice The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes and condiments and the never-ending hot water in the shower was amazing! The beds were comfortable, albeit a little small The staff was courteous

However, we stayed so the kids could play in the pool but the pool area was very poorly maintained The pool isn’t heated and the filter wasn’t even running cuz the water was filthy The hot tub is permanently closed and the structural supports in the pool area are extremely rusted It’s a bit concerning how rusty everything is and I’m not sure the pool area should even be open to guests

gammatammi

I called the hotel directly to make reservations and the person in guest services was very helpful I requested a first floor room which I was given I called a few days before my visit and requested a handicap room which I should have done when I made the reservation and they didn’t have any left on the first floor

My surprise when I got into my room that it was a handicap room! The suite was very nice! Small kitchen with refrigerator, stove top, microwave, sink, dishwasher, pot, pans, dishes, coffee maker The living area with a sofa, chair, desks, tv The bedroom had a very COMFORTABLE king bed with 4 king size comfortable pillows I have a bad back and I had no issues sleeping I loved that bed!!! The bathroom was huge, nice shower with handles and a seat The room was super clean! There is daily breakfast that had a lot of choices, Mon-Wed evening they offer an evening reception with sandwiches, salad bar, chips, cookies, beer and wine I called guest services a couple times with questions and they were so kind and helpful EXCELLENT customer service The hotel offers a pool, fitness room, computer and printer I was very impressed with the hotel I spoke with the front desk guest service manager and told her how I loved everything about the hotel I always leave the housekeeper a tip because they do a wonderful making sure the suites is clean and well stocked

Location great, right off i-90 Very limited tractor-trailer parking, you can park across from the hotel on the street (watch for hydrants), but there is no space in the parking lot Breakfast was good, there are several items to choose from

Rooms were clean, as well as the comfortable bedding Our shower needed a seal around the door Staying here is recommended

Patrick Villacorta

Stayed for a night driving through Illinois Well maintained, clean hotel Warm breakfast (bacon and eggs in our case) aong with the usual continental options

Convenient for those travelling on I-90 Looks like it’s close to a casino, several restaurants and another “interesting” neighbour First time I’ve seen those pancake machines

The room was amazing! We had a lot of room for a family of 5 I think the parking could improve as we didn’t have room to park near the hotel It would be nice if the embassy could have their own parking lot for their guests and not be shared with the public

The breakfast was lacking quality unless you got a fresh cooked omelette During the reception time, they made pretty strong drinks! The pool was ice cold but it was a nice salt water pool and not chlorine Softer on my skin and hair! Overall, the Embassy staff is amazing They make sure we are comfortable and make sure we have everything we need Even during breakfast they are asking how our stay is This is one of the reasons we will choose the Embassy time and time again

Ross Halleck

This hotel is a gem The vibe is contemporary, but there’s a feeling of history that was not lost in converting this aging manufacturing facility into a hospitality center The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable, the restaurant and bar energetic but calming

There is a driving aesthetic throughout that marries the old with the new The views are stunning from the rooftop bar The staff is very friendly and clearly proud to be associated with a place that is so cool in all respects

Chris Fleming (Chris Fleming Paranormal)

Wonderful hotel The room was massive for the price Extremely clean and amazed by the large hallways and impressed with the elevator intelligence system

Had dinner at the hotel and the food was extremely good Parking was full so had to park a block away, but regardless this hotel is top of its game and I do hope to stay here again Swam in the pool (which was way over chlorinated, probably due to post COVID) but had to leave as eyes were burning This would be a great place to stay during any of the music festivals Good job Hilton! Impressive hotel

I can’t express how much I appreciate the staff of this place We came into town due to a family member that was going to be passing soon, we did not know how many nights we would need, needing an extra night, I went to the front desk and was greeted by a friendly woman who helped me out and ensured me that we would have a room at an very fair rate They gave us peace of mind knowing we could focus on our family and not where we would be sleeping

Rooms are clean, nice with a comfy bed Appliances look to be in good shape with a two burner stove and a full size fridge It was quite around the hotel the entire time even though you could tell there was a lot of guests staying here If you find your self in need of a stay, short term or long term, we highly recommend this locationThank you again from the bottom of our hearts

I Love this hotel! My fiancé and I travel quite often from Indiana This is the only hotel I feel comfortable in when we’re in Rockford The rooms are very clean and the beds are extra comfy! The staff at the front desk and the housekeepers go above and beyond

And the breakfast is very good I can go on and on about all the great things that this hotel has to offer It is most definitely recommended and if I can give 10 stars I would

Dylan Caldwell

Residence Inn, COME ON!!!!! We drove all day and got here First room we’re given we open the door and it legit looked like someone had been partying in the room ALL DAY!! I mean not like “hey this room isn’t very clean” I mean the beds were fully torn up, there was a fold out bed in the middle room open with the sheets off of it, and balloons all over the floor We thought we walked in on other people sleeping at first! Back to the desk, mistakes happen

Room 2 Ride the rickety elevator up to the 3rd floor, go to the room, open the door and this room is almost exactly the same except a GIANT pile of pizza boxes are there instead of balloons everywhere The room is a disaster Back to the desk Third room the very appologetic guy at the counter goes and checks first (good idea) The room was a solid okay at best As pretty much every other review has said this place is outdated and worn Sounds like the cleaning staff is as well Time to fix this one Residence Our compensation2 free bottles of water! Nailed it

The hotel is right next to a major highway You can easily hear semi trucks 24/7 I had a north facing room on the east end of the building

The windows don’t do much for sound proofing I don’t suggest sleeping there if you’re a light sleeper, but maybe the backside or west end would be betterOther than the above, it’s a good hotel

When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted very warmly Front desk sign said that mask was required but no guest were wearing them in the lobby including the workers When I entered in the room, there was a strong smell of marijuana

I told the receptionist and she did not apologize or act too surprised When I entered second room, there was a strong smell of musky, damp and bad odor which seem to come from the floor and couch From what I heard previously from the receptionist, this was the last room apparently so I really didn’t have a choice In the bathroom, I noticed paint had mildew and was peeling There were multiple holes which had been patched with drywall mud but not sanded and painted Numerous hairs found on wall of tub, floor dirty and stains found on bed pillows Overall, hotel was disappointing and not worth $150 weekend stay

I had to stay here for a night, because my AC went out It was nice for the price

The only thing I didn’t realize beforehand was that it was pet friendly I just felt I could smell dog, possibly dog urine, in the air Maybe they need to deep clean the carpet, and fabric on the couch better? The shower and bath were great, and the provided hotel products were great!!! The staff was excellent!!!!!!!!
