POOR CUSTOMER CARE/SERVICEOn a business trip this weekend, I was very disappointed in the service provided As a Choice member, who recently resumed business travel, my review is based upon insuring that this does not happen to another business traveler I did not receive housekeeping services the entire stay

On Saturday, I had a business meeting off property and was in my room until after 11 am I did not remove the Do Not Disturb until leaving my room Prior to leaving that morning, we had requested additional towels from the housekeeper in the hallway We did not ask that they not clean our room Upon return that evening, our room had not been cleaned We chalked it up to them assuming we did not need service because we had asked for towels The next day, we did not place the Do Not Disurb on the door at all We were in our room until time to leave for my meeting off property; again after 11 am Upon returning the second day to a dirty room, I was not a happy customer This is when I was advised: 1 housekeepers are outsourced and no one is available around the clock; 2 housekeepers do not speak English (per the front desk); 3 housekeepers do not clean if a guest is in their room (As a point of reference, no one ever knocked on our door either day)The only resolution we were given was to move to another room without a guarantee that it would be on the same floor We declined that offer because it would have taken 30-45 minutes to move my temporary officeThe General Manager indicated that she would check with the Housekeeping Supervisor to see why the room was not cleaned She said she would contact me in the morning Knowing that we had not been serviced for the entire stay, no one insured that we had towels, toiletries or cups for the next morning We had to call the front desk to request towels and cups At checkout, after 10:30 am, I had to ask for the General Manager, as she had not contacted me She wanted to blame what we had done as the reason for not getting serviced, rather than Housekeeping We were in our room We didn’t leave our room early enough each dayIf you want to be treated as all customers should during a hotel stayDO NOT SELECT THIS PROPERTY!!!

We have stayed a total of 3 times at this hotel Overall it has been a great experience The room is large and the bed and pillows are absolutely comfortable

The breakfast buffet is okay Go with the waffles and the biscuit and gravy The eggs are a bit blah Coffee was okay as well The room as I said was clean and the heat and air worked perfect I was disappointed in the number of towels but that is a minor complaint The pool is inside and you could say it’s heated but not like it used to be There used to be a child’s area where the water spouts and everything works but it seemed to be turned off when we were there And the pool had an excessive amount of chlorine But none of the things mentioned would keep me away For the price tag of $100 it could have been much better but there are not a lot of decent options near the Baptist hospital where we had to go And if they are available they aremich higher priced But if you need a one or two night stay conveniently located to places this is a good choice Having a Walmart less than a 1/4 mile away was a bonus It allowed us to save money and use the microwave and the refrigerator to the fullest Room comes with an iron and hair dryer and all the amenities you’d need

Manda Castillo

I was really nervous about our stay do to the recent reviews I had read about rude management, cleanliness, etc I was quite impressed once we checked in They have really turned things around if that was the case

Our room was nice and clean, you could tell that the bathroom had just been cleaned as the bleach was still lingering (that’s a BIG plus for me) we have 3 rooms we rented since we are traveling with a group And all 3 rooms were in excellent condition upon our arrival without any problems with management or checking in Plenty of parking and a great vibe all around Because of all the reviews I read I felt the need for an recent up to date review If the prev reviews were accurate and not just a bunch of Karens /Kyles knitpicking Management/staff deserve some recognition as they have done an excellent job turning things around and making it a clean and welcoming place to stay

I stopped staying at hotels because it is hard to find a good hotel with hot water, water pressure, quiet room, and air conditioning that works properly After I looked at the reviews for this Fairfield hotel in Benton, I was a little concerned I called a week in advance, Terri told me to call and remind her the day before I was going to arrive

I called back on the day before the arrival, Terri took the information and said she would take care of it When we arrived, I had the exact room that I wanted! I was very thankful I always request a quiet room with working air conditioning This room is awesome! I love the design of the room The AC works perfect and is not loud or noisy The room is very clean! Katie checked us in with a smile We were very happy with our experience I will be back for sure! The rooms that are even numbers are on the back side The parking lot is well lit, and there are cameras all over the building I will have to say this is one of the better Marriott Hotels I love finding a good hotel People here are friendly! Thank you for helping me get some rest! One note, the hall way is very warm which is a bit uncomfortable when coming in from the heat with luggage Thank you for a nice hotel!

Joe Poye

Anytime you call a hotel and you get ahold of someone on the other side of the phone that you can tell is just full of joy and loves their job, it is such a blessing I was in a bit of a pickle and had to make some very last minute accommodations Teri was tip top

She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure things were taken care of The admiration and appreciation I have can’t be emphasized enough The hotel is awesome It is the staff that brings it all together though True hospitality at it’s finest A HUGE thank you!

Ron Holder

Great hotel room for a tall person; I’m 6’4″ and the shower nozzle was a foot above my head, so I didn’t have to squat uncomfortably to take a shower That is rare The hotel was a little tricky to get to; my GPS took me in a circle

Staff was very helpful in directing us around an accident on the highway so we didn’t get stuck in a miles-long backup

Kirat Sun

I checked in around 330 am & I chose the Hilton because historically I have had good experiences at this hotel chain This stay was lovely with a clean, quiet room and helpful staff The bed and pillows were comfortable, I melted into them! And the little touches like the extra water bottles and Keurig were really nice touches

I parked in their lot with no trouble and felt safe about leaving my car packed with all of my belongings there When I told them I was driving from the West Coast to the East Coast, the also offered me late checkout I had my service animal with me too— he was comfortable and welcomedI highly recommend this Hilton because of their customer service and the lovely space

Tim Tsai

Beautiful, clean, new rooms, very nice decor I always check under beds everything was up to our standards Area is also pretty good, didn’t feel shady

Grateful they allowed my dogProblems are that it’s popular, being this nice and reasonably priced, so there are a lot of people And they are loud And the doors aren’t the most sound-proofedThe beds were also on the softer side so the next morning my back and muscles were killing me I’d never had that experience before But now I know that’s what can happen to my back so I’ll ask for a firmer bed next time If that’s even an optionWould I come again? Absolutely I’ll just ask for a firmer bed and for the room to be further from the elevators

Jenny Robinson

I stay at Hiltons a lot for business and I compare them to each other This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, ever If I could give this place 10 stars I would

Breakfast excellent Customer service absolutely on point Ameshia and Richard were so incredibly friendly to me I was there for five nights and we were friends by the time I left Parking excellent Location excellent sitting amidst some rolling hills right off the freeway Lots of green trees and beautiful grounds Didn’t use the pool Rooms updated and clean Bathroom clean and semi updated I have nothing bad to say about this place Not one single thing Will most definitely stay again when passing through

This is a great hotel It is quiet and the rooms are large and very well layer out The furnishings are mostly new or slightly used and high quality

The management was extremely nice and helpfulThey take their no smoking policy very seriously so do not smoke in rooms that aren’t designated smoking rooms as they will charge you steeply for “cleanup” and you won’t like their pricing on cleanup!Still a great hotel if you are a considerate guest Try them out!

Kristi Ashley

Front desk was very nice and very helpful That’s the end of the good things to say Carpets are dirty, hotel has a very worn quality to it

Updates need to be made and aren’t We had staff walk into our room without knocking Safety was a concern after that Ironic though that we didn’t get maid service the entire stay though Breakfast was bad, OJ watered down and food was not cooked well Offering was minimal We will not stay again

Veronica Harden

Overall, the hotel was clean and check in was easy There was a very large ink stain on the floor in our room Unfortunately we were there on a very busy night

The walls seem to be thin because I could hear music coming from the other rooms We had a difficult time sleeping which was unfortunate because my daughter’s gymnastics meet was early the next morning The reason I only gave 2 star was because of lack of linen We had total of 5 people with one person on the pull out sofa There was no pillow, bed spread, or blanket for the pull out sofa We didn’t have enough towels for 5 people and we had no wash clothes When my husband asked for linen, he was told there was not enough for everyone in the building that night We managed with the few towels we had but I was extremely upset my daughter didn’t have a blanket My husband had to buy a blanket and wash cloths at Walmart For $117 a night a expected way more than we received I will not stay here again We were not offered any compensation or discounts considering we had to provide our own linen

Nice hotel to stay at in the Little Rock area Check in was simple and the room was clean when I arrived The lady at the desk in the evening was very friendly

The bed was comfortable That being said, the room is showing multiple signs of lack of maintenance I almost feel that this is a cheap hotel trying to be upscale The interior is dark and a little dank The rooms have areas that need to be repaired through normal wear and tear There were a few times when I passed staff members with their faces buried in their cell phones They didn’t even look up to say hello when I passed them I think a little more attention to details here and it would be a much better place

Gwendolyn Pyle

This place is a gem!! Super friendly staff, attractive and comfortable rooms (spacious and the bed was so nice!), delicious dining You can tell the locals come to visit to eat at their restaurant in addition to hotel guestsVery family friendly as well… this was a one night stay on a 2 day TN to TX road trip with two of my kids and they were so gracious and helpful in every interaction

Would recommend and plan to stay again

Convenient place to stay on a road trip Plenty of food places and cheap gas around I stopped here for 1 night on my drive towards Texas

The hotels in Little Rock were more expensive, but this one was just outside the city proper and a better price The room was nothing fancy, but the bed was clean and the AC worked great so it sufficed for a short stay Check in and out was quick and easy, no fuss

Felisha Ann

The owners errr the people who seem to be running the place majority of the time are super friendly and even at their busiest times have stopped what they’re doing to assist me and stay professional and kind/polite every single time! The location is slightly hidden behind Little Caesars but I actually like it more because of that! It’s away from the road enough that there’s not this constant traffic or difficult to get into the parking lot but close enough still “in-town” so that it’s convenient, I literally walk wherever I need to go so yeah HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🙂Oh and the photos are from just outside my room{it was upstairs–2 floors}

Pride in ownership/management makes the difference An older property but they do everything they can to make a great stay Clean and comfortable Excellent breakfast

The outdoor pool was great for our summertime stay Best stay I’ve had in the areaIt is an older property right along the interstate, but if you turn the HVAC unit to constant fan it smooths out the sound No trouble sleeping Slightly less convenient location, but still a great stay

Great Hotel Really enjoyed our stay The atmosphere was lovely, the room was clean and updated not shabby or run down like some places

Huge plus, they had plenty of towels in the room, plus they had extra towels in the pool area The shower was really nice The only bad thing I can say is that the pool was chilly, could definitely bump the temp up a couple degrees But the pool area was super nice, with tables and chairs all around, and a pool bathroom too

Hitchman Homestead

Yay! Clean, quiet, updated rooms and propertyComfy pillow and pillow top mattress Lots of dinner choices within a short distance

Full breakfast buffet Enough towels in the bathroomOnly thing they could’ve added was a spa (There’s a pool but no hot tub)We had a great night’s sleep which makes for a better day of travelingI got a kick out of the key-card affirmations!

Nice stay! Clean, big breakfast, indoor pool So convenient to restaurants, etc We enjoyed southern food and live music at the Copper Mule

Update: I heard back from management of the Courtyard That helped make this less frustrating, but it didn’t result in getting my pillow back I still appreciate their effort, and it changed my opinion about the Courtyard

The representative let me know that she will be working with the location staff to improve their responsiveness and project a more caring attitude when someone loses a valuable itemOriginal Review was 2-star: Being a business owner who understands the importance of positive Google reviews, leaving a negative review is not what I wanted to doFor full transparency, the room was fine, and the Sunday 6/19/22 evening front desk representative was very friendly at check-in The lobby and hallway were fine, and everything worked I do agree with previous comments about the hotel needing a refreshThe problem was the apathetic and rude response of the 6/20 afternoon/evening front desk representative when my wife called to inquire about the very nice pillow that I left in the room when we left Obviously, it’s my fault that I left my pillow, so I’m not attempting to blame the hotel or the staff for my stupidity The call “dropped” three times during the conversation causing my wife to have to call back each time There was no concern or empathy on the part of the rep, and her claim to have checked with housekeeping and even checked the room herself seemed less than sincereWanting to give the hotel a chance to do a better job of convincing us that they cared at all, I encouraged my wife to stop by today on her way home because surely the rep wouldn’t be as rude in person as she was on the phone No such luck – she was at least as rude She said she had checked the room, but the tone of her voice and defensiveness about my wife stopping by didn’t give my wife much confidence that she had indeed checked the room or with housekeepingSo, if you choose this hotel for your stay while in West Little Rock, don’t leave anything in your room If you do, there’s a very good chance the person who answers the phone when you call to check on it won’t really give two hoots about whatever it is you left Again, I shouldn’t have left the pillow, but it would have been nice to think the staff gave a flip

Mark Steele

DO NOT stay here! We exclusively stay at Marriott hotels & this was by far THE worst experience we’ve had Our room was filthy, the toilet was full to toilet paper & pee which could not be flushed There was a hand towel hanging in the bathroom with crusty blood, the air conditioner unit was broken

Our room was by the elevator which was on the loud side but in addition to the elevator noise it made a loud additional beeping sound each time it was used on any floor which was constant all night The fire alarm went off several times between 1am-2am then again from 7am-8am The hotel smelled like cigarettes & pot! Upon checkout I asked to speak to the manager, Crystal Thomas the general manager was finishing up with a guest who was complaining he was given the wrong room key & had a gun pulled on him after he entered the room I explained to Crystal my experience, she did comp our room because of the fire alarm going off all night but made sure to tell me I was lying about the condition of the room She stated she personally checks each of the rooms so it wasn’t possible I pulled out my phone to show her the pictures & videos She was rude & did not appear to care that our experience was miserable

Chris Hawk

I travel a lot and Courtyard by Marriott is my hotel of choice This hotel should not be affiliated with Marriott The rooms and hotel in general smell like roach spray

The dust ruffle on the bed has a huge stain on it The sofa bed was unusable as the sheets had yellow stains on it and the blanket was inside crumpled up , so it was obvious it had not been cleaned/changed Various signage throughout the hotel is either dented or broken For $185 this hotel doesn’t even offer complimentary coffee or breakfast The patio area was dirty as well I have never visited a Marriott hotel that doesn’t offer complimentary breakfast The only part of this hotel that was nice and resembled the Marriott was the lobby I will be escalating this bc this was absolutely despicable!!

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! Room was clean and spacious with modern fixtures and feel, service was fantastic, and check-in and check-out were a breeze The kitchenette and large fridge was a nice bonus for heating up leftovers and keeping some extra drinks cold My room also had a nice rollout work desk and a couch/sitting area which were super convenient for getting extra work done

On top of the quality of the rooms and the facilities, the service was flawless Front desk was attended all hours, and they helped me solve an internet issue in my room, issued me a new room key in 30 seconds when I locked myself out of my room, and had complimentary snacks and drinks at all hours in the front lobby Being able to grab a few snacks and some cold bottles of water or Red Bulls made traveling that much easierAll in all, a fantastic stay for a great price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here or recommend it to others

I’m trying to get them to honor their satisfaction guarantee policy since July 24th They act like the only issue was the citywide power outage which was not the case at all there were several other issues that nobody wishes to address nor does anybody want to stand by their policy I did book through Expedia but Expedia is not all for the guarantee

Keep your word Home2Suites It’s literally right on your website

I’ve seen the bad reviews but this was not the case with my stay The room was very comfortable I’m assuming they fix the bug issue

The lady at the front desk was very nice on Monday Aug/15/22 She greeted us and had a smile The room was very clean and I liked that it had a large fridge and sink Only issues I had was the bathroom door had no handle Also the ELEVATOR CERTIFICATION has been expired since June of 2021 I didn’t mind it but I’m sure that is a huge deal when it comes to safety and certifications for a proper working elevator Also this hotel does not have a pool which is a bummer

Ok here goes DO NOT STAY HERE! My wife was woken at 1am having been bitten by bed bugs, there were loads of them, I quickly went to reception and he moved us straight away although we couldn’t sleep after this and my wife couldn’t even get in another bed here, we left around 6:30 am just to get away from the place We feel we should have a refund, but not a chance

In case you’re interested it was room 117 This was early June ‘22 and 3 weeks later my wife still has the marks on her

Stay away from this Hotel You been warned!First my front door lock was not working Put the door key in, green light comes in, push the handle to open the door, door won’t open

You literally have to try 15-20 times before you can open the lock Notified manager nothing was done Restroom comode is continuing leaking water and flushing by itself ever 3-5 minutes making lot of noises AC thermostat control don’t work, it’s go to cold than you turn of the AC Than it go hot than you turn on the AC again You have to play with AC every 1-2 hours Coffee maker is to old that button marks are gone, you can read which one is power button Comforter have Cigretts holes and dirty Behind the bed dust everywhere Carpet is filthy and too old I was coughing whole time due to carpet dust Spider web in the room and at window I paid $236 for IHG hotel and I was not expecting this

Front desk employee was great, bed was comfortable and I love walk-in showers – but pillows were all lumpy, as if the case was filled with pieces of foam That surprised me because I have to this location for years So I awoke when housekeeping ignored the sign and banged on my door and had a sore neck

But, if they replace pillows would give it 5 stars

Greeted by very friendly young ladyWhen entering our room we noticed the drawers were open and the desk chairs which was extremely worn was moved about 3 ft away from the desk, the curtains are torn and someone had sat on the bed We can see they are in the middle of a remodel however I didn’t know that when I called and booked the room otherwise I wouldn’t have paid the rate I paid for this room

The room does appear to be clean otherwiseI was hoping to upload pictures however the site wouldn’t let me upload them

Nice Guy!

To start be ready when you make your reservation to get transfered to a high pressure vacation sales person when they ask you to hold when they email your reservation I had to hang up on him The supposed email never came after an hour I used redial on my cell to call back

the lady told me I must have called a third party reservation company she said “we don’t do that!” I said I hit redial to get to her, she insisted I called a third party and refused to admit it Then I made another reservation with her She told me the price and then after we were off the phone I got a email conformation email with a higher price than she just lied to me about Bait and switch cons! The second I saw the reservation email, I called right back with redial for the 3rd time to cancel the reservation I think a different lady, asked why and I plainly told them I don’t like companies who jack up the price after the sale They said the reservation was canceled After we get home from our trip, guess what I find? You guessed it! They still charged my account for the nights stay! So, first a bait and switch, then complete thievery! These guys are cons and thieves! In my humble opinion anyway We stayed at the Best western JFK instead and they actually charged us what they told us So if money means nothing to you, this might be a nice place

We stopped here on a road trip home, after spending a week and a half in different hotelsThis hotel is so clean! The breakfast area was immaculate and there was a really nice hot breakfastWe did have a couple of outlets in our room that were positioned too far into the wall so they wouldn’t work for large phone bricks/ chargers

But we really loved this place in comparison to more expensive rooms SO CLEAN

Amanda Miller

Our stay was fantastic at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites My Priceline booking was incredibly easy, and all I needed at check in was my license and last name I was promptly helped at the counter and the young man gave me all of the information I needed

Our room was spacious and one of the cleanest we have been in in a long time We had plenty of towels, good hairdryer, comfortable bed w/ tons of pillows and soft sheets, and the mini fridge and microwave came in handy for the take out pizza we ordered from across the street (Domino’s)There is a Defy trampoline park right there, tooThe continental breakfast had very good orange juice, make-your-own pancakes, cereal, fruit, bagels & breads, pre-made cheese omelets, biscuits & gravy, sausage links, and coffee to-go It was very busy on a Saturday morning, but we got fullThe 3rd floor ice machine is currently broken and the pool closes at 9pm Those are the only things we could even remotely complain about!

Kimberly

Great room, comfortable beds, clean, but Saturday night, 4/2, there were multiple people that were drunk and loud and having way too much fun all night long Despite the no parties signs everywhere, overnight staff did NOTHING to stop this and said they didn’t hear anything NOT a great place to stay if you value your sleep

Friday was fine, but Saturday was HORRIBLE and staff totally enabled the behavior and did nothing to stop it until after my 3rd call When we confronted the woman on our way out at 5 am, she defended it and said she didn’t hear a thing NO WAY she didn’t hear a thing!

We are staying here for one night midway to our final destination This hotel is comfortable, clean, and walking distance to shopping and restaurants Being an honors member we weren’t disappointed

We’ve stayed in different brands with Hilton and feel like the value is good Didn’t have an issue with temperature in the halls or common area as mentioned in previous reviews I’m all about customer service and Chasity at the front desk did not disappoint Friendly, informative and just all around pleasant Would definitely stay again and may on our way homeWe travel a lot and cleanliness is huge for us Thank you for the pleasant experience and thank you to Chasity for your excellent service

Tia White

The stay was great me and my family was just there for a night The rooms are clean and dust free I didn’t experience any weird smells or unclean spaces

The hallway is a little hot , the staff was amazing the information board about what goes on in the city was informative especially for food, bars, and activities My only complaint was that bed was tough, I had a King room and tossed and turned all night The breakfast was decent the breakfast sausage could have been cooked a little longer it was on the rare side Overall 4/5 would stay again if they changed those beds out

SeaTheBlondie

Stayed at a few of these so far have LOVED them However this much be a franchise because it is definitely NOT family friendly The showers are open and close doors

Which if you have small kids that need help showering, prepare for a flood or your pre-shower Also If you have babies that still require warm breast milk, or formula there’s no microwaves in any of the rooms So 👋 hello 3 am baby bottle in the lobby 😒 Not to mention, the corners of the bed frames are sharp My husband stubbed his chin and it actually bled for a bit There are zero plastic cups, no real creature comforts for family’s The desk is the PERFECT height for my toddler to smack the corner of every time he waddles by it Not to mention the bathroom doesn’t lock or even latch closed So keeping the toddler out is just what I’d like to do every 15 -20 minutes when he remembers 🤬The rooms are clean, this is just such the opposite of convenience it’s getting 1 star I’m just super disappointed when I seen there was one on our map I was excited because the ones we’ve stopped at before we hadn’t had any of these issues with What a let down

The staff is top notch Everyone was very friendly and super helpful Bed was extremely comfortable, mini fridge was nice and the TV was large

Negatives: tiny bathroom, as in the door was 1 inch away from the toilet when open No fan in the bathroom makes for a steam room, not always good Our door to the hallway had open spots, meaning lots of light and noises traveled in We actually had to switch rooms (kudos excellent staff for the help)Lastly, the Starbucks was closedat 8:30amon a Saturday

Michael H

Didn’t get free breakfast, but the pantry room on my floor (5th) had a nice coffee machine and snacks available (trail mix, snack mix, fruit cups, oatmeal) Can’t say it was better than the regular continental breakfast, but considering the room rate was better than I was expecting I was happy with the compromiseThe room was very nice looking and the bathroom was clean and modern

The staff we talked to during our stay were all helpful and really nice people

Michael Donner

The whole hotel was terribly hot, to the point we couldn’t stay at the bar or pool very long The restaurant/bar was out of most food, the telephone lines to get to them didn’t work, and they are incredibly expensive for the quality The beds weren’t comfortable and the bathroom was very small

On the plus-side, the staff was very friendly and check in was incredibly easy The location was great as far as ease of access and lack of traffic
