Great hotel, beautiful grounds, and good location Staff was nice Rooms are a little older but also look remodeled

I would definitely recommend this hotel, the only draw back is the Marriott wide decision (not this hotel decision) on getting rid of hot breakfast at Springhill Major draw back for my family as some of us are gluten-free and enjoy the hot eggs and bacon/sausage

jenny judson

Do not stay at this hotel They claim to offer top notch hospitality but I have never experienced worse customer service The staff were extremely rude for no reason to guests who were just enjoying their evening

They have a quiet policy in the lobby which apparently starts at 6pm which is ridiculous If you don’t want soccer teams to be in your lobby then don’t register as an affiliated hotel

From the First Time I Stepped Foot In The Motel The Staff Was Phenomenal,Dre greeted me with a smile and so much respect,He was Helpful and Very professional,He Definitely Is A Great Person To see when you walk in

Friendly staff The park was clean and most sites were spaced well The onsite restaurant had good food at reasonable prices

About 20 minutes from the Fort Pierce ocean front areas Nice little brewery just down the road The only thing that keep me from it being 5 star was the single laundry area, it was not very big for the size of the park and it seemed that there were machine issues on a weekly basis They did take charge cards which is a plus although they were on of the above mentioned issues

Pamela Weinstein (Pam)

Very nice little restaurant The fish was grilled, nicely The soup was very good, too

It is in a travel resort, so not easily seen from the road I believe that they have Kareoke &trivia night, every week, in the bar Not sure if you have to be a resident I was a guest of 2 very nice friends, who showed me around I would live in the resort, if they weren’t booked for ages You can put one of their manufactured homes there, rent a cottage or put your RV there, temporarily or permanently It has the restaurant, I just did a review on, Charlene’s and it’s own bar Lucky you, if you want to live the lifestyle, to get into Road Runner

Beautiful setting with lush landscaping, convenient free parking, roomy suite with 2 comfortable full size beds, small magnifying mirror in bathroom with roomy counter space, well equipped kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge with freezer, utensils and dishes, lovely pool, complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, quick drive to Ocean Drive Loved the complimentary breakfast basket delivered each morning to the room Only suggestion would be to add electrical outlets and update with painting

We walked to the wide beach every morning as it was a quick walk across the street Hardly anyone on the beach in this area Don’t miss the beautiful sunrise! Long time resident Bettina at the front desk was a wealth of info about the area and restaurants Great mother/daughter trip! We’d definitely stay again

Brittany Antone

I would rate this place a 100/10 if I could This place is GORGEOUS and makes me feel so at home, I love plants and they have a beautiful garden that I was able to see from the balcony of my room The room is incredibly cute, I’d live here if I could

The rooms are the cleanest I have EVER seen and I’ve spent 100’s on rooms that couldn’t even touch this one The bed was super super clean and I can tell the blankets and everything are cleaned PROFESSIONALLY rather than thrown in a regular wash like most hotels They deliver breakfast to your door in a basket! FREE! How cute is that?! They also have a restaurant downstairs as well as a pool thats open 24/7 They have free bikes you can “rent” out to take a stroll down the road or on the beautiful beach FREE The owner is absolutely lovely, she is super super generous and made me feel like a friend rather than a customer I’d take the 3 hour drive ANYTIME to stay here again, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at and it was cheap! This is definitely my PERMANENT vacation spot And the beach is just steps away! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!! Absolutely loved my stay here and I wish I didn’t live so far so this could be my weekend getaway 😭

Veronica Galleher

We recently stayed at the hotel for our friends wedding It was AMAZING The hotel has such a tropical vibe

The grounds are stunning with all the beautiful trees, flowers and plants The staff are all wonderful Rooms were clean and unique Excellent location right across from the beach and close to downtown Vero Beach with all the cute shops And the restaurant at the hotel is beyond delicious We can’t wait to go back for a little weekend getaway

3rd time here Always been good Godfrey (receptionist when I arrived late at night Mar 20, 2022) was terrific

I have no doubt he’ll end up running his own hotel one dayMy only complaint on visit two was there was no freezer in the small fridge in the room ( I bought an ice cream downstairs and was going to throw it in there until later)I concur with another reviewer’s assessment of the breakfast I’ve stayed in cheap hotels that had more variety but otherwise, everything else is great

Lifetime Diamond member and pilot who spends 150 days a year in hotels, mostly which are Hilton properties Checked in and all seemed fine Once in my room I was immediately hit with the foul smell of mildew

Yeah I know it’s Florida and most older hotels have this in their air conditioning After 2 hours in the room I couldn’t take it anymore The air conditioner just smelled awful, pumping more moldy smelling air into the room Not to mention that the sheets on the bed felt damp This is due to poor air-conditioning systems, where the air maybe cool coming out but is not dry I went to the front desk to try to get a different room I went to 2 other rooms Each was as bad as the first I had to pack my bags and leave the hotel at 9pm It was that uncomfortable If I had stayed not only would I not have slept at all, I probably would have gotten sick from inhaling mold all night I’m just glad I found a very comfortable hotel close by and that I didn’t have an early morning flight the next day This hotel needs a total restoration of all it’s air conditioners I am surprised the management hasn’t done something about this because it’s been like this for a while I certainly will not be back and am going to make sure my company takes this hotel off it’s list of suitable hotels for Vero Beach As a note, all 3 rooms I was in were on the 2nd floor

Breathtaking view in their outdoor seating section Of course their was a wait to sit outside but we ordered drinks from the bar while we waited and just enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather Our server was AMAZING and explained to us all the shipwrecks in the area to include the history of the one located out from the outdoor seating area

Can’t wait to go back!

Great place on beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants The staff in general were attentive The beach is great and the pool was warm, with a great pool side bar

They have some service at the beach but it was extremely limited during our stay We never saw pool side service at allCons-Our server Emily for breakfast was not pleasant in the least We never went back for breakfast after this experience The menu for family’s is lackingThe vibe after 6pm is disappointing in Vero Other than restaurants there is little to do in Vero after 6The second bedroom is not inviting and provides no room to move around in at all For the price paid expected more in that regardThe room in general shows some wear, and the doors would be better served to have a modern keyed system The room needs some new touches such as TV’s,There should be coffee, hot coco left out for longer hours

Omar Adorno

The staff at this resort is amazing Communication through the stay was constant to make sure our stay was pleasant From the front desk ,bar,Valet,Concierge, House keeping and beach personnel, all staff was friendly and attentive

The room was clean and exactly what was shown at the website Will definitely go back Thank you Sean,Evan and Brandie for the attention given You definitely make this place better!!

Scott Mayers

I specifically wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to the resort and staff – we had an excellent time at this resort I think most importantly, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and specialFirst of all, we’d considered taking our jet ski with us on our trip and asked the hotel to accommodate us – they did, and as soon as we pulled in to the lot mentioned that they’d held a parking spot for our ski

We ended up not taking our ski, but this was a really nice touchSecond, the hotel is dog friendly – and they truly made our two four legged friends feel like part of their family If you were there the week we were, you probably caught a glimpse of, or heard about “the border collies” Anyway, the pups had a great timeNext, the hotel had a welcome gift in our room (and our room was ready two hours early) I’m not going to mention the vineyard for the bottle they left us – but either they have very high standards or did their research on us – as it was our favorite bottle of wineFinally, the whole staff really did just a great job – from the guys working the beach equipment, to the front desk, the bell staff, etc We had a really enjoyable visit and will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I (and our two small dogs) had an excellent stay here over Easter weekend I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Vero Beach The front desk staff was very welcoming when we arrived Friday night

Check-in was easy and several luggage carts were available to take our luggage to our room Every area of the hotel was aesthetically pleasing, quiet, and very clean Our room was a studio and was perfect There was a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, sink, etc The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the a/c worked great Although the hotel is pet friendly, there was no dog smell in our room or in any of the common areas Our room included complementary breakfasts, which were great – much better than the typical ‘continental breakfast’ other hotels offer The menu was different each day but included eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, toast/bagels, etc The hotel staff was excellent!! EVERY hotel employee we had contact with was friendly and helpful Check-out was also simple We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Vero Beach

Cassandra Hardick

I stayed here for 2 nights dos a work trip, and it honestly felt like I was at home Every employee was SO incredibly kind and accommodating They took the time to learn my name and I was only here for a short time

The rooms are clean and quiet and the pool is perfect size The breakfast is tasty as well The people are the real winners of this hotel though, I have never met a more welcoming bunch! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area

C T

Good hotel with clean and relatively new rooms and facilities I didn’t give a five star review due to the condition of the in room coffee maker It was a wreck, with the handle half off and the lid in two pieces (It should have been one piece)

There is no way it should have gotten past housekeeping but alas, it didDesk service staff were great and the food served at breakfast, while not gourmet by any stretch was definitely decent and better than fast foodThe property was immaculate Would happily stay there again

This place is NOT a five star hotel or anything fancy With your expectations managed, it is a wonderful place to stay The location and views are amazing, the beds are comfortable and the hotel grounds are very peaceful

The real highlight is the “on the edge” tiki bar and grill next to the hotel We were there every day of our stay Great drinks, surprisingly good food and live music One gripe, our hotel room had be we will call it “gently cleaned” I ended up getting cleaning products from the front desk and finishing the job myself Regardless, we would stay here again and recommend to others Can’t beat the price for waterfront stay in South Florida!

Marie Tomlin

From check in to let’s talk to Lois and see if we can stay longer until we checked out 9 days later was great clean rooms, helpful staff

our housekeeper Maria and her help was the greatest Maria was the sweetest and always left towels and toiletries and coffee at out door even when we didn’t need anything Puppy friendly too See you next year ❤

Savanna Barry

The manager was so friendly and helpful at check-in She really helped us out, we were travelling for work on a really tight budget and since it was a Monday night she gave us a break The rooms were clean and the location was great

Definitely nothing fancy but this place has all you need and the personal, professional service was much appreciated

I give it half the total number of stars because the hotel staff was great, breakfast was alright (no egg whites or to go breakfast or snacks), room was very clean compared to Fairfield right by them BUT I couldn’t workout at the gym all week because their hours are from 6am I need to workout at 4am to be at work by 6am Also couldn’t have breakfast because it also opens at 6am, the time I have to be at work

Only was able to have breakfast one day out of the entire week I was there

What I thought was great: the little beach, the breakfast, the front desk super helpfulHowever, the rooms look much nicer on the website This hotel needs a MAJOR overhaul

The room was a bit moist smelling The paint is chipping off doors, etc The best was really cheap and uncomfortable What I found to be the worst though, there’s not really anyone maintaining the property during the day There was a whole family in the pool during a lightening storm, playing very loud music, and yelling at their kids The pool deck was also in disarray The pool with filthy with oil slicks and debris from the surrounding trees and bugs Water bottles and towels left all over Why is no one constantly walking the property and cleaning up? All in all it was a pleasant weekend

Jesse Meek

Nice hotel with serious need of renovation We were kindly greeted by the front desk staff and check in was easy The room was clean and had a nice view

Unfortunately our headboard broke off the wall, I wish I could say that was my wife and I’s fault😆😉 but when we went to lay down the first night we heard cracking and other noises Upon inspection the headboard was literally hanging on by 1 drywall anchor Could of definitely hurt someone had we not noticed Honestly not that big of a deal, the staff did offer to move us but we just laughed it off and carried on with our trip The pool and little beach is a super rad amenity and the breakfast was alright I would absolutely stay again and the feel the price was reasonable considering the current market

Stuart Thomason

Given the price, location, and basic amenities, this place is fine Just don’t set your expectations too highPros: clean, the AC worked well, the beds comfortable, fridge and microwave, the low budget breakfast but a plus and appreciated, the large dock area that was clean and safe, and the decent views

Cons: I suspect there’s not enough staff They ran out of coffee and syrup at breakfast Staff is not upbeat; rather, they seem worn out The shower water pressure in our room was almost not enough to even work Housekeeping didn’t come—didn’t restock soaps, coffee (it was undrinkably awful, too), just a no-show Local families filled the pool area (we watched them jump in their cars as the sun set)We’d stay here again, maybe, but at least we’d know what we were getting

Per usual, Costa d’Este is an amazing resort with all the amenities I was married here in 2015 and since have returned multiple times when I visit family in the area Everyone is so professional and kind, the entire grounds is beautiful, and the rooms are luxurious

I was so relaxed and happy when I spent time in my hotel room, and also out on the beach The food is amazing, my favorite part is ordering room service in the morning for breakfast and sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean The rooms are always immaculate, and my only regret is not staying longer See you again soon Costa!

Kelly Latimer-Briggs

We have stayed here in the past before buying a home in Vero, and it was wonderfulLast night we went to the outside bar for drinks and music It was very busy, but I got an extremely good espresso martini, and my husband got a beer

We were sitting there enjoying the music and atmosphere when a man, who we presumed to be a waiter, stopped to ask how everything was Come to find out, he is the managing director, Chad Olson He was so kind and friendly Taking several minutes to visit and make sure we were enjoying the evening made all the difference after just leaving a place that had terrible customer service He even pointed out the Gloria Estefan was there!I highly recommend the bar and the hotel We will definitely go back

Alistair Rochester

From start to finish, the experience here was amazing! Everyone is so nice and friendly, the valet parking team is beyond helpful and I hope they are blessed every single day of their lives! The pool, the rooms, the spa, the views, the area in general is such a pleasant place to be! If you haven’t already, take a trip here and stay at this hotel! You won’t regret it one bit!

Zero star if I could Ended up in the ER from angioedema and hives from allergic reaction to bedding in the room Never had an allergy before in 43 years of life and very well travelled

I made a rookie mistake and went for the bargain $270 Saturday night and ended up paying for it with my healthAlso, not as traumatic but there was a small animal in the kitchen scurrying around , maybe lizard or mouse, likely common in this area but we reported it to front desk and they could care less

WORST HOTEL/INN IN VERO BEACH Changed rooms because the first one had an awful small and used body wash/shampoo, on top of 2 centipedes that were on the bathroom floor Called down to the office where we were movies to room 9… which was even worse then our previous room

The carpet was absolutely Disgusting and would never dare take off our shoes Then walked into the bathroom, where Multiple ants covered the sink and surrounding areas Called back down and was told they “must come come in due to the rain” “ we will set traps” on top of the bathrooms looking like literal prison cells… if I didn’t pay $225 I would leave… do not stay here

Overall excellent location for a short walk to the beach The room did have an odor which was smelled like mildew or old air The room itself was plenty big even though we were only in it to sleep since our family had a larger rental house

the couch was super comfy and the bed was tooFind the odor smell and it would have been a 5 star

I read a previous review on this place and they suggested you manage expectations I’d agree! Love that this place is dog friendly and the proximity to the beach is unbeatable Spoke to Giovanni on the phone when we booked it and the process was so easy and pleasant! The room was clean and comfortable

The only reason I can’t give this place five stars is because our ac unit kept turning on and off at least once each minute during the first night which kept waking us up Next time we will come back and bring our own necessities like silverware and coffee filters and probably a fan to drown out any noise from outside or from our ac Will return for the location!

Do not call these people because they will lie to you and say you can make a reservation and they will allow you to cancel it without penalty They lie They will not return your deposit and will charge you a bogus “cancellation fee” that you will know nothing about unless you go to their website, but a large number of people will NOT go to the website and will instead call them directly and they will fail to inform you about their charges

Questionable ethics Unable, in good conscience, to recommend such a business

Highly recommend South Beach Place It was our first time to Vero Beach and this was the perfect place to stay We loved the well-kept tropical grounds, the pool, the grill area, and of course

the 2 minute walk to a pristine beach I also loved all the books and games that were in our room This motel is close to restaurants, shopping, and the grocery store It was a quick drive to the Botanical Gardens, and about a 20 minute drive to the Navy Seal Museum Absolutely staying here again!

South Beach Place is a true hidden gem in Vero Beach I needed a place to stay for whenever I came to this side of the state to visit my father and this is now me and my fiance’s go to We’ve stayed here twice and both times were nothing short of amazing

The rooms are all unique in their own sense and are surprisingly spacious You are provided with everything you need and are a short walk to the beach for beautiful sun rises Highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway This is a hidden oasis

There was no towels in the bathroom The lobby looks So Nice while the rest of the property is dirty and worn I’ve never been to a hotel where there’s only two sheets on the bed, no blanket

Fixtures are old and the plugs for charging my phone didn’t work The bed was very uncomfortable The best thing was good air conditioning and cable TV

Never again for the price stay at theHoliday Inn express or Hampton Inn This Comfort Suite is more along the of lower quality hotelStain on the carpet

Holes in the curtain I’m a night shift nurse and can’t block out the lights because the curtains won’t go together Lamp shades are cracked Paint chipped out of the wall, carpet ripped up by the door OK it’s clean No breakfast like the other places It’s got cereal or prepackaged danish The gym is closed Along with other problems I had Yes the people are nice But for $277 first night That I didn’t stay because I was at work and then 210 for the second day that I actually slept Checked in at 8 am and checked out same day at 6pm to go to work Other places would let you do an early check in if they have a room available not here A plan farther in advance next time for me Was not offered a discount for being over 55 was not offered a price match which I find out that they will do after looking online today
