A very luxurious and beautiful hotelThe experience is amazingIn this review I will only focus and talk about the dining experience since this the main reason why I visited the hotel

To start of and before saying anything about the food I just want to point out that the bathrooms are extremely clean, and hygienicThe staff is extremely friendly and very diligent They were paying attention to all the little details Whenever my glass of water was empty someone would fill it back before I could ask the waiter to do itThe food quality is amazing The taste, the texture, the presentationI had several dishes and they were all authentic, made with extremely good and fresh ingredients, and they all complemented each otherLet me explain : we started with some salads, a breaded shrimp salad and a goat cheese saladThe shrimp was cooked to perfection and had no taste of the sea as some other places, the goat cheese was authentic made with high quality goat cheese You can really taste the difference For both salads the vegetables were fresh and the choice of vegetables complimented the shrimp and cheeseThe main fish was very creamy mushroom rozoto The mushrooms were very tasty and you could tell that fresh mushrooms had been used and no canned ingredientsTo top it all off some graded parmesom cheese that also tasted goodThe stake was delectable The meat was tender, juicy and cooked to perfectionThe side of gratin was also goodFor desert we had a chocolate mouse and a lemon sorbetChocolate is not my favorite desert but this mouse was very good It was not too sweet nor was it too bitter it was a perfect balance between the sweet inner chocolate and the dark outer glazeThe lemon sorbet was very refreshingThe roof top has a nice view over the city and the ambiant music was carefully selected and fit the occasionOverall a great experience 10/10

Not sure how this is a 5 star hotel the front of house is very rude they have zero people skills the rooms are dirty every day they have new rules as to what can and can’t be done the the workers at the pool are very disrespectful and have no respect they didn’t let me take a bottle of water to the pool that I got from the mini bar by far one of the rudest reception staff I’ve seen I think I would get better service from a $20 a night hotel this place should be rated 1 star max

Julia

Apparently you aren’t allowed to bring your own water bottle into the pool area!? The security guy took mineWhile entering the pool area I was met by a guy who literally tried to rip the towel out my hands while demanding 100 000lbp Also the entrance fee is way to much in relation to what you’re getting

Also the music is very loud you can’t listen to podcast or read

GREAT hotel and in a prime location in Beirut Very clean and reasonably priced for what you are getting We had a suite that accommodated all 5 of us adults very well

We had a pricing discrepancy up on arrival But the General Manger Reda Sinjaba took care of it without any issue The only other issue we had was sometimes was the air conditioning would just blow out luke warm air in the middle of the night but would eventually cool the room beautifully The breakfast buffet was very good and was available every morning The cleaning staff did a great job of keeping the rooms clean and they also provided a laundry service to the guests The employees (especially Ibrahim at reception) were all very welcoming, polite and courteous They were very eager to assist in helping out with any issues that the hotel guests had From helping to exchange dollars to the local currency to helping us buying cellular service Very well trained staff Our experience with Reda and his staff was AWESOME! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying there We are completely satisfied and inshallah will stay there again if we get the chance to visit Beirut once more

I am visiting the pool side usually on the weekends Unfortunatelly, the food does not reflect the stars of hotel The club sandwich is not the favorite of the chef

If he feels, he prepares it, but if not, he refusing it The bred what they use is toast bread that can be found on the market but using the bred shortage as excuse not to prepare the sandwich is very questionable Otherwise, my visits are enjoyable and the service staff are trying to satisfy my visits Sometimes kids are very-very laud so do not use the pool for relaxation 🙂 The service staff are young and ready to fulfill the orders and try to make your stay as good as possible However, it would be nice if they learn more about how to manage the pool side Their eyes should be alway on the area and clean it as soon as possible after visitors departure or the food had been consumed The Manager is very polite, helpful and try to satisfy customers Over all my visits were enjoyable even with above mentioned issues

If your visiting Zahle, Grand Kadri is the place to stay we own a house in the area but we love spending a few nights when visiting Lebanon The pool is very clean and nice, but the water is definitely cold takes some time to get use to The rooms are beautiful and the staff are great, they hire all the local kids which is nice

They have a beautiful terrace where you can hang out with the family or friends, can’t go wrong with Grand Kadri

Alvin Mailvaganam

Currently staying at the hotel while I’m writing this post It’s 11pm and there is a party going on with loud music in front of the hotel…I’m not sure if this is normal but it’s not the best if you looking to get a good nights sleep

Also, do not trust the menu as there is a conflicting information on what you order and what you get We ordered a 4 cheese penne which listed coming with mushrooms and broccoli, which those item not in the mealThe rooms are nice though…

This hotel is worst hotel in Beirut And all the managers should not work in hospitality All the managers are not qualified to work on this industry

The rooms are very noisy There is a club they are renovating on the 16th floor and it’s a small hotel and you can hear it probably in all the roomsI was staying there for one month I heard other guests complaining about the noise You can always hear the room next to youI wanted to upgrade to a suite I asked them 6 times and they gave certain dates for availability I never got upgraded and I never knew why that didn’t happenThe complementary items are never placed The water, tea, coffee etc I KEEP ASKING FOR ITEMS EVERYDAY And it takes them hours to get itAll staff treat everyone bad as if we are staying in this hotel for free And for sure if they are tipped well you will be treated better This hotel has a corrupt managementThis was the worst month ever I don’t recommend anyone to stay in this hotelAnd last this hotel is not safe Some of my valuable items were stolenIf you want get robbed stay at Smallville

Dania Abu Moustafa

I visited this hotel on recommendation from a friend as I was worried about the hotels given the current situationThe hotel is good and staff are friendly The hotel has a funky retro superman theme which is cool and different

The bedrooms are clean and spacious and there were no issues with electricity which is apparently common in lebanon now The bed is comfy however only downside of this place is the bathroom is kinda small and the balconies need more maintenance Also the breakfast needs improving but all in all would go there again

NOT RECOMMENDED!! PLEASE READ MY STORY!!From one of the best hotel in town to the worst experience ever My latest booking in this hotel was awful I reserved a room 5 days prior to my stay scheduled starting 17

032022, I arrived in Beirut by night and reached the hotel at 1 after midnight and the big surprise was that the personal on the front desk informed us that there’s no booking for us and the hotel is currently full and with shameless and rudeness asked us to go search for another hotel – remember, it’s 1:00 AM! – after a long discussion he acknowledged that my reservation was canceled Who canceled my booking and why, no one knows! Later on, two of the staff in the hotel admitted that that was also the case for many other clients in the last months! The next day I tried to contact the administration and the executives (especially Mazen and Mario) but the answer was from the operator and for many times: they are currently in a meeting and one of them will contact you immediately when they are done I still didn’t get any call or even an apology! That was a nightmare and extremely unprofessional from this hotel, from now on it will deserve 0 stars for me and for many other clients who confronted the same catastrophe My last advice: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

I stayed for 3 weekends for a training and the hotel was perfect for it We were able to use several venues, each venue for different activities We took lunch and dinner in the restaurant with a calm terrace where we had informal gatherings and social breaks

Food was exquisite, service up to par, staff was great and very friendly and accommodating Would love to have more workshops here in the future

May Ghanem

We went for a workshop for the weekend Bad food with little diversity They had a party till 2 am on the fifth floor and the whole group couldnt sleep

People coming for the party were knocking on doors at night and bothering women in the elevator and the management did nothing about it Also the rooms were terrible, many of us were stuck with smelly rooms and not working ACs, water tabs and more

Andre Andraos

Located in the heart of Jounieh Al Murjan Hotel is ranked a 4 star hotelThe service and staff are greatThe rooms are good but could use a little more of cleanliness nonetheless you can find all amnesties that should be found in a 4 stars hotel

The food is good and the price to stay ratio is great
