A great hotel experience I stayed at Residence Inn for 9 nights, so really had a chance to see it in operation Every single member of the staff — front desk, breakfast service, housekeeping staff, groundskeepers — were helpful, professional and so friendly

And the place is immaculate Self parking is great; proximity to the highway makes getting around Oahu easy I will stay here again

Perfect getaway! We loved our stay in Diana’s condo The unit was super clean and comfortable The beds made you feel like we were at home! The views off the balcony were beautiful and relaxing

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the large cooler was perfect for carrying our stuff down to the BBQ grills I loved the kitchen appliances too The condo has a bunch of beach toys and beach chairs and beach towels! The games and videos in the cabinet by the tv were a nice touch too, for when we wanted some down time in the condo Parking was a breeze and quick and easy to get to I would love to rent this condo out again and again whenever we have time off Diana was always quick to reply to any of my questions I had throughout the booking process She even suggested snorkeling spots, grocery stores and was always so helpful

Landree Tullis

Diana’s condo is beautiful!! She met us at the front desk and made sure we we were all checked in She showed us where everything was and she is so friendly and helpful! The condo is beautifully decorated and has EVERYTHING you need and was super clean! The deck and the view of the lagoon and the sunsets are unbelievable! The complex is fabulous and the lagoons are amazing Ko Olina is a great place to stay! I hope we get to come back, and when we do, we will definitely make our reservation with Diana!

Miko Akamashi

Beautiful Location! We spent 7 nights at the condo traveling from Japan on first vacation rental adventure and were very happy with our stay! The condo is amazing – plenty of space of family of 4 There is a Target & groceries less than a 10 minute drive The lagoon is great for swimming and snorkeling especially kids & never busy

We went to Disney Aulani next door and enjoyed without having to pay high prices We really appreciated all of the beach accessories Diana provided to the condo, including snorkels coolers and beach bags My husband & I enjoyed a few evenings down at the bar and live music one night

This particular location is awesome They make you as a gust feel so welcomed This is my second time staying here and it’s perfect

The team members are the best The front desk employees night and day are the best They go above and beyond and that is true customer service Even though some were training, they were a team and they help each other out I had an issue with my cellphone and had to get a replacement shipped out to me That front desk kept an eye out for my package and call me the second it came in I appreciated that little kindness so much Thank you, thank you The hotel is so clean and I am a germaphobe The housekeeping sprays and disinfects the room before going in to clean The cleaning is impeccable 👌 I will be back

I honestly want to rate Hampton Inn & Suites Kapolei a five star, but I will make it 4/5 I will mention the downside first First, there was no microwave

I would recommend having microwave in all rooms I believe all the guests needs microwave to heat up their food Lastly, the ac Guests should be able to control the temperature in their rooms Me and my family were freezing due to how cold the room was and all we can do was wear jackets, hoodies or sweatshirts, and socksThe good side however is they have free breakfast every day, they can provide us toothbrush, toothpaste, etc (if we need one), get mini fridge, friendly & helpful staff, a swimming pool (already have clean towels for guests to ready to use outside), laundry room, a gym, and a beautiful lounge to stay at I also like how their water dispenser has that footstep to get water instead of using our fingers to pressSo overall, this still a good place to stay at It is a friendly and safe environment 🙂

Lavinia Morrison

I cannot say enough good things about this place! All of the staff are polite, friendly and professional This place is immaculateThe breakfast buffet is great

There is something for everyone The kitchen staff work tirelessly keeping the place clean and the food and beverages replenished There is a fitness center, pool and laundry room on the first door The decor is modern with very clean linesRight outside, in walking distance are a plethora of restaurants and shops!I highly recommend this hotel! ❤❤❤❤

This review is for Katey I feel very fortunate that she picked up the phone when I called them, since they are technically closed and only sell in the farmer’s market on Saturdays She invited me over to the farm and helped me pick out so much amazing produce

She was kind and patient and walked me through all of their stock in all their fridges and offered useful tips and suggestions about fruits/veges I was unfamiliar with I can’t thank her enough cuz everything she suggested tastes amazing and fresh The farm itself is beautiful and everyone I met there were wonderful!

Jo A

Very friendly staff I really enjoyed the variety of creative dishes The veteran options were great

I loved that we could bring our dog while we are in the outdoors We went at night so we got to appreciate the beautiful outdoor seating Surprisingly, there were no bugs bothering us and the string lights were perfect: strong enough so you can see clearly, but soft enough for enjoyable mood lighting They play music inside pretty loud so that it can be heard from outside I look forward to going back! It’s a bit away from the main road and if you drive out at night, the drive may feel a little sketchy Once you get there, it’s definitely worth it

nikkimnm d

An absolutely wonderful experience all the way around Staying in this incredibly peaceful place was ideal for us It’s a very simple, humble, no frills as far as the nightly stay but they offer a fantastic experience of starry skies, working farm housing interactive, welcoming, and muddied barefooted farmers with smiles and conversations

Chickens clucking their way around the pen with offerings of early morning wake up calls Open land of overgrown grasses and patches of gardens growing veggies outskirts the mountainous view For those willing to forgo any extra comforts and take on a more relaxed (and while not, it may be for some, rugged) experience, this is a must! It’s a shared space, as it is a retreat house and expect to leave your shoes at the door as is Hawaii custom The cafe doesn’t disappoint either The chefs spread is abundant and beautiful sharing the farms own organic produce It was the best food we tasted in the island and looked forward to the next meal

Cheap, cheerful and near the airport! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful The rooms are basic and bed comfortable Old style window AC whose noise drowned out the nearby light rail construction

Some repairs to the cracked and chipped areas would be nice This place could be so cool with the right paint Price is right, especially compared to distant hotels Free shuttle On-site Chinese restaurant Mini convenience store has the basics Gardens are very pretty and well maintained Pool looks welcoming Nice comfortable stay for the night

Ivan

My wife and I got a room here for a few days for a business trip Didn’t want to spend too much money considering neighboring hotels charge so muchAs expected, the room is simple and to the point

A little old, pop corn style ceilings but it has everything you’d needCameras are everywhere, parking lot is very bright at night and the tow truck man always is making sure vehicles who don’t belong there gets taken care ofCustomer service is great here too Booked early and the ma’am at the front desk was quick to settle us inHad a great stay and definitely will come here again in the future

LP JR

The staff from the front desk to cleaning staff, all were very helpful and friendlyI was allowed to change room when I’m not satisfied with what I originally bookedCoffee & hot water at the lobby is fresh anytime, their mini grocery is fully stocked from food, medicine, snacks and laundry needs

All over the property is clean and well kept by the maintenance/cleaning staff Chinese restaurant is comparable to downtown restaurants but prices are much cheaper/lowerWiFi is the best, each room have their own router, so no sharing with all other rooms/guests and strong signal because in your room

This place was amazing! There was a beautiful view and back porch My family purchased a 2 bedroom room, which was plenty of space for the four of us The smaller bedroom has two twin beds that could be split or merged perfect for the kids

The customer service was great and there was even a greeter to help us navigate the island and our rooms

Whitney Hicks

Our room was gorgeous Ground floor 2 bedroom We sat out onto our beautifully decorated lanais every morning for breakfast

Kids could play in the pools while we watched from the lanais And just a few short steps to the right was the beach The lagoon is perfect for kids Entirely protected waters with sea turtles!!The staff at Ko Olina is amazing And the villas are 5-10 minute walk (along the ocean) to fantastic restaurants and shops and ABC grocery storeIf you are looking for an elegant and kid friendly vacation- Ko Olina is perfect

Dave

We stayed a week at the Ko Olina Beach Villas in a beach tower condo on the seventh floor We loved the property! This property seems like it is more relaxed and quiet than the Marriott or the Disney Aulani next door The lagoon at this property was not very crowded compared to the others

Beautiful sunsets right out in front of the resort made for amazing evenings! The staff was courteous and easy to get a hold of I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a ocean front area on Oahu

Housekeeping is nonexistent Been here four days and they haven’t removed trash, haven’t replaced towels, haven’t replenished toilet paper, haven’t made beds, etc

Cutting back on housekeeping was industry wide and started because of Covid At the time it seemed appropriate but at this point there is no reason not to provide good service beyond padding the pockets of the ownerThis location is not in a very good location unless you want to be close to the airport Literally in the industrial area next to the airport as well as being on the highway If you are visiting as a tourist I’d stay closer to WaikikiI’ve stayed here several times for work and generally the rooms are clean upon arrival and the facility including the pool is well maintained The staff are always friendly

Blake F

If you have a choice, stay somewhere else Upon entering my room, I was greeted with pee on the toilet seat This was a good indication of how my overall experience at this hotel would be

The hotel rooms haven’t been updated since probably the 80s The bed is hard and uncomfortable with flat pillows The windows are very thin so you can hear just about every car on the multiple roads outside making sleep elusive The shower had two options: hot or cold While showering, it would alternate between the two making it a fun shower experience The included breakfast was minimal and not appetizing They offered pre-microwaved Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that were cold and inedibleMore than half the guests were military so it appears the hotel just takes advantage of their lack of options and could care less about the experience of their guestsThe front desk staff was friendly and I never had a bad experience with the employees of the hotel

Cody Johnston

I will start off by saying that the location is convenient and the facilities were very clean However, the hotel staff at the front desk seemed to be very i knowledgeable about most inquiries we had, and were rude on a few occasions One one occasion I had housekeeping trying to clean the room at midnight while I was sleeping

On another occasion we had a phone call on the provided room phone at 11:30 PM asking if room service could enter the room to complete a cleaning they had not completed earlier that day, again while sleeping On both occasions, my dog was startled in her sleep and began protectively barking at the door, startling my pregnant wife The location is excessively loud from outside noise, being located directly adjacent to H1 and Nimitz highway underpass I was woken up most nights by loud vehicle exhaust noises I would strongly not recommend this hotel to those looking for a quiet and friendly hotel

Overall I almost gave it 5 stars The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable I like the baths with the showers

The lady on the front desk was nice when we checked it but not as friendly when we checked out The airport shuttle was good but I thought it was tacky having a sign on the bus saying that you have to pay an extra $1 for every bag that the driver handles Personally I think when you pay good money for a hotel at an airport that this service should be included Trying to get extra money from guests who have just flown in from other countries and may not have US cash yet is not exhibiting true aloha in my opinion, especially when the lobby ATM charges a fee and give a terrible exchange rate as wellI think that helping people get on a shuttle with their bags in most countries is considered part of the service Also we were told to wait in the wrong area by the front desk for the shuttle back to the airport and no one helped us with our bags, when we had two young children Minor issues but I would have given 5 stars if not for them

Stephanie P

Great location close to airport to stay for a night before a flight/during an overnight transit Rooms were clean and had decent facilities Was a short Uber ride to Waikiki

Only downsides were the free shuttle only runs after 7am meaning we couldn’t use it to get to the airport for our early morning flight, and the location is kind of random, there’s nothing around in terms of food etc

Nicole Thyng

No part of me would ever stay in this hotel again We were moving off island and limited on where we can stay with a pet We came here because of that, and the shuttle to the airport

Our first room, the bathroom was covered in black mold There was part of the wallpaper peeling up, and behind the wallpaper was black mold Black mold was sprouting in the sink That’s where I wash my BABY’S bottles Then they move us to a new room with no compensation for the inconvenience They gave us hours to move our stuff when we have a 4 year old with a broken arm and a 3 month old We are moving off island so we have a ton of stuff with us They move us to the room across from the elevator, which with a dog, is terrible The wifi doesn’t work in this room Then our bathroom flooded No compensation for anything we have dealt with This hotel has been an absolute nightmare and made our military move off island a complete nightmare We will be sharing to military pages about this hotel and experience in hopes others do not have to end up dealing with the stress this hotel added to our lives

Great IHG that will soon be fully renovated Very well kept for an older hotel The location gives you amazing views of the island

If you are going to work at the hospital this hotel is a must during in processingThe staff is very helpful and accommodating This hotel is a great location to stay if you want a central location on the island It will allow you to access all the major areas of the island Large pet friendly and lots of space for the fur babies to play

G&C ALVARADO

Andrea HSK Supervisor, Aloha front desk lady and Judy all deserve a raise their hospitality and customer service was exceptional they will make sure your stay at this hotel is the best and most comfortable stay possible, very clean and this hotel even provides a continental breakfast We highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Hawaii

Cat Higgins

First off check in is at 4 pm, they didn’t check us in until 4:30 PM, due to late check outs The hallways smell musty, and moldy and the rooms are below average To put in perspective of the location you are away from all of the action, to get anywhere you have to drive about 20-30 mins on average

If you are on the search for a “Hawaiian” luxury experience and vacation, seeing palm trees and being near the crystal blue waters and white sand do not stay here even though its cheap it does not justify My recommendation and what I should of done was stay down in Waikiki, but live and learn this is my first time visiting Hawaii The hotel amenities are nothing great The TV does not work, the breakfast is a joke and it has stale coffee The staff is nice but incompetent Also there is no elevator and the hotel is two stories, so if you family member that is handicap or cant do stairs this is not the hotel for you

Plenty of restaurants in the area as wellThe salt water pool is always clean, never crowdedThe staff are kind and helpfulWhen we leave the island we will return

My husband and I stayed here for an extended period with our kids It was nice being able to cook in the full kitchen with kids Also very close to restaurants and shops if you needed

We had a 2 bedroom with was nice to put the kids to sleep without bothering them Each room had its own AC sl we didnt hace to waste power if we werent in a room We were in a middle floor and it was still quiet We loved the pool it was always clean Great option for military families as it’s close to food and easy access to most of the bases down south We plan to stay here again on the way out

Angelica Salazar-Tsoi

The place is a little dated but the room we got for 2 adults, 4 kids and our big dog was perfect! Clean, ready to “live in” Pool is cute and clean There’s a bike path right behind the hotel, it’s by the water, so pretty

Location wise, it’s by the mall so there’s plenty of food options That being said, the street it shoots off from, that area is a little sketch at night I’d stay there again tho! Worth it for me and my big family
