The night we came the customer service was awesome The rooms were nice and clean Where it turns around is when I turned on the shower, it was cold all the way around

I called the front and the lady was very sweet, but still no hot water Now today, when we went to get breakfast, it was a miscommunication about breakfast times, the guy who we the was a guest came up to us from outside asking us what’s going on The rudeness came in when he ran up on us and never identified himself He had on a hoodie and tennis shoes We just got coffee and left I’m not too big on others reviews, however they were not lying They need a better system

Michelle Hernandez

The room was fine The bathroom had a weird and somewhat uncomfortable, but forgivable, layout However, the staff were unprofessional and, most of the time, nowhere to be found

The WiFi was spotty at best The free breakfast cost nothing and was worth the price The eggs and the juice were all gross, especially the orange juice The waffle machine left the waffles undercooked, and we spent our whole breakfast swatting away flies Oh, and the lobby and elevators were like a sauna! Overall, I’d say it’s a place to stay just to rest your bones at night and take a shower in the morning, but I can’t give it credit for much else

Bharat Ramakrishnappa

Bad Stayed 3 nights No house keeping

There’s nothing executive about this placeThe other 2 star hotels have better serviceIron was dirty, asked for a different one Didn’t receiveHad to get towels by myself Nothing was refilled They don’t even take the used towels

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and we’ve been to a lot The front desk staff was always very pleasant and helpful, and requests were tended to right away Our room was comfortable, spacious and very aesthetically pleasing

LOTS of counter and storage space everywhere and spacious vanity with bright lighting in the bathroom Whoever designed the layout and details of the rooms did a phenomenal job We couldn’t have been more comfortable except maybe a bit more seating options in our King room (the loveseat was too deep to be comfortable without lots of pillows) And as is with all the Marriott branded hotels, the bed was oh so comfy That’s our first requirement when looking for a hotelThe lobby was spacious and absolutely beautiful We ate at The Bistro, conveniently located in the lobby, and breakfast was amazing That’s the only meal we had since our stay was just one night After continuing on our journey and staying at the next hotel, we wished we could have stayed at this wonderful hotel the entire time We will definitely be back

Yolanda Y

The window in the room does not open so there is strong chemical/paint/furniture smells in the room Can smell it even when lying in bed trying to sleep The staff said that it’s for the safety of the guests but there are definitely better ways to protect the guests than making them feel trapped in the room they pay for

Told the management but they did nothing Would not recommend staying here

Cheryl Roberson

Pros: spacious, updated, bed is comfortable, pillows were comfortable and the staff was incredibly niceCons: NOISY! So incredibly noisy The soffit, above the bed, hold the pipes for the rooms above, so anytime someone flushed the toilet you heard it

The walls are incredibly thin! You can hear the TV in the room next doorI’d stay here again, in a pinch, but it wouldn’t be my first pick

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure!Everything at the hotel was wonderful aside from the stained floors/carpets in the room I would definitely stay there again The staff is friendly and helpful The food from the bar is pretty good considering it’s bar food

You can tell the age of the hotel but I gave it I higher rating because I slept so well as it was quiet and the bed was comfortableMy one and only gripe or problem is the lighting in the room is so dark I couldn’t even shave in the bathroomMy cell phone adjusted the light in the pictures to make it look a lot brighter than what it actually was

The lighting in the hotel room is impossible to read by or do any work unless you’re staring at a computer screenIt would have been a higher rating if the lighting was better in the roomBreakfast was very good, so was the sandwich I got for dinner but the restaurant is not open during dinner as they don’t have enough staff like most places, not being their fault instead the fault of lazy people deciding not to work It seems to be a very big trend in my state capital for laziness but that’s a whole nother subjectThe restaurant is closed for dining at night but at least you can order at the little bar and they bring it to you I had a club sandwich and it was very goodSo like I said I probably will try this again

The staff was incredible! From the front desk to the wonderful people who cleaned the rooms I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived We were traveling from Georgia, so when I had looked up the room on booking

com i was so nervous the microtel would be a dump, considering how low the price was compared to the hotels surrounding this one But it was the complete opposite Everything about this hotel surpassed my expectations The staff was amazing, the lobby and rooms were so clean, the beds were comfortable, any questions we had was responded to in the nicest of manners I highly recommend this place! You won’t find anything else this nice for the money you spend

Tasha R

It was a good location and quite Even with the room being directly across from the elevator we were not able to hear any noise outside the room Linens and towels were clean and well maintained

I will say that the room was hot when we first got in and didn’t cool down to a tolerable temp until the middle of the night The room had an odor as if someone had smoked in it but that was mitigated with a candle The mattress was VERY firm and not comfortable for me as a prefer something softer The site noted that the would be a microwave and mini fridge in the room but there was none so leftovers that we had spoiled and had to be thrown out

The bed closest to the bathroom in room 228 HAS BED BUGS! Me and my kids stayed after driving 4 hrs to get there and have to wake up in the middle of the night to being bitten and attacked by bed bugs! Upon notifying the front desk all they did was take my name and number and said they’d look into it smh! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had staying in a so called nice hotel! We were already exhausted then to have to experience that we definitely did not get the rest we needed! Not to mention the ice machine didn’t work on our floor, the room only had 2 towels/washcloths had to get more, the pool was dirty towel bin was empty there was a pile of bricks in the area around the pool and literally less than 4 chairs just looked very abandoned and the pool was only 4 ft deep Couldn’t access the fitness room No clock in the room the telephone looked like it was used from an old motel the channel guide didn’t work on the TV and it didn’t even have all the channels that were listed on the paper guide

These hotels need to be shut down makes no sense to be so expensive and be of bad quality!

Andreas Meyer

Unprofessional Arrived late night after booking via portal and received confirmation On arrival the reception stated that the booking was canceled – no feedback to booking platform

The reception was incompetent and could not solve the issue No manager was available Not again The location is also in nowhere No place to go for dinner or drink closeby

Stayed for two nights here and everything was great I did feel bad for the young lady at the reception, she was there all by herself, hustling hard! She was definitely on it though and nice The place is beautiful and the rooms are clean, we had to get an extra bed because the room we got was for 5 but the beds were smaller which that kinda sucked

The pool was super packed and it got dirty so didn’t enjoy it as much but that’s what happens in summer It was awesome that it was by The Domain because all the restaurants and shops are there Breakfast was actually good and they did have a hot meal for people, I would actually add another waffle machine because we waited like 10 minutes for people to make their waffles

Wes Harris

Officially the longest hotel name in the world, the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Near the Domain was good for the rate and locationThe walls were a nice paper thin material where you can hear in the hallway at 12am the family returning with their young kids who must have had a blast to want to keep the party going, in the hallway, at 12amThe bathrooms were clean-ish, with namely the shower having needed some love (or maybe it got too much love at some point which would explain the stains)

The breakfast was a surprise – it was good and included The Texas waffle maker was a nice touchIf you’re looking for a good deal, this is a fine place to go

Let’s start with the location It’s tucked in behind other businesses and the parking lot is inadequate at best I had trouble finding a spot 2 of the 3 nights I stayed

I ended up parking in the neighboring businesses lot one night of my stayThe room (312 for reference), well, for the price I was disappointed The 3rd floor hallway air conditioning was inoperable my entire stay The hallway was stifling at all hours, though the air conditioning in my room worked fine so it wasn’t a huge issue The bathroom was not the condition I expected The bathroom door did not stay latched when closed When you opened the door, it swung shut, so it was always hot in there unless I propped it open with a towel The walls in the bathroom had questionable brown substances on them near the toilet Speaking of the toilet, the seat was not even attached to the actual toilet The wall behind the aforementioned door was cracked from the lack of a door stop The shower had multiple cracked tiles, one was falling away from the wall The pipe that the shower head mounts to was missing the wall dressing/water barrier ring Also it was plumbed in reverse So cold was hot and hot was cold Well luke warm, I couldn’t call the water hot at any settingThis brings me to the service of the staff The staff were all wonderful The hotel was fully booked, yet they were all polite and courteous to me They were the only reason I did not cancel the rest of my stay, so there is that to be saidUnfortunately I will not be choosing this location for my future trips to Elgin

Biggest complaints:There was a musty water odor in the hotel First floor was pretty strong Second floor was better

But, I’m sure they’ll fix that very soon!Staff friendly! No dinner serviceLocation was well, there’s really nothing there so, sure great locationAC works great so that’s a big plusWas quiet and cleanGet Some

June Moon

The staff were all friendly and very helpful The bed was comfortable I was happy even before I got home and realized I left my pillow behind

I called and they already knew about it and had it sitting behind the counter They put my name on it so I could come the next day and pick it up instead of driving back right that moment Very pleased

My husband and I stayed two nights here for our 51st wedding anniversary We’re so glad we found this gorgeous, spectacular gem of a B&B The property, the accommodations, the amenities, the decor, the delicious breakfast and how personable Luey and Norris were just topped off our getaway

Everything is first class!! They even did something special for us for our anniversary, which we appreciated very much! It’s the perfect location, away from the city, but close enough to shopping and restaurants We are definitely coming back We absolutely LOVE this place

The property is beautiful with an amazing front lawn perfect for lawn games (like pickup soccer or croquet / pall mall) The hostess is most welcoming and offers a hearty breakfast to guests Our party loved the outdoor swings and rocking chairs on the porch

Such a cool hotel!! My daughter and I stayed here for a night and both loved it The theme/decor is different from a lot of hotels you see in the area and was really fun The room was amazing, had everything we needed, and was really cute

Also the staff was very friendly and helpful both the night we checked in and in the morning when we left!

UPDATE 6/5/22: Two weeks after the stay, I realized my credit card was charged $46 two days after my stay for no reason (room was paid with points) My Marriott account, however, does not show any charges I called the property three times and GM Ellis was suppose to have called me back

He never did I did learn from a helpful front desk associate that their records do not show any charges either I am now disputing the random charge with Chase Check your bank or credit card statements for erroneous chargesPoor excuse for a Marriott property Everything is dingy from the lobby to the rooms Attempts to provide a modern ambience are overshadowed by lackluster amenities Will not be staying at another Aloft branded property On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and had great attitudes

Lindsey Ray

Edited to add: as of today, there is a pending deposit from AloftNot a great experience 2 nights of our 3 night stay we had no television

They came and looked at it and said they would fix but that never happened Our last night there, the shower head dripped and was hitting the metal drain pan I tried jusr closing the bathroom door but the rolling doors don’t close all the way A plastic piece of the door kept falling off but we could just put it back The chargers on the bedside tables seem like a great idea but they don’t fully charge even when on for 8 hrs Last day, our air conditioner couldn’t seem to get the room cool but maybe it was just so hot outside, it couldn’t keep upI told the lady at check out all of the issues and she was very nice and apologetic She said she didn’t have authority to really do anything about it and wrote it all down in a spiral and assured me someone would call No one did so I called a week later and spoke to front desk manger and she said we’d be refunded a night’s stay in 3-5 days Never happened I called again, still nothing Called and talked to GM,he assured me we would get the refund Never happened I have now left a couple messages and talked to a couple other people and while all mostly friendly, they are doing nothing I should have demanded it be taken care of at check out but I’ve honestly never dealt with such a shady hotel Our stay was Memorial weekend and still no resolution

Excellent hotel! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent The lamp in my room wasn’t working so I told the staff and they fixed it immediately The bed was very comfy and the sheets were clean

The bathroom was working properly This was by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Texas The hotel is a bit pricey but I think it was worth the price I recommend you to stay at this hotel if you are looking for a good place to stay at

*WORST STAY EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL*I have been to Hilton numerous times, and I can’t believe how poorly the staff handle it From the first night when I checked in, I got to my room and the plugs weren’t working and the lights for my nightstand weren’t functioning properly I informed the front desk about this matter and they moved me to a new room

I grab all my belongings and move into the new room, and the worse case happens The A/C doesn’t function and the room had a filthy odorly smell Then I let the staff know of these issues happening I asked Monica and Stephen (the front desk staff) if I can get a refund and cancel the booking for 7/27, and they stated that I won’t be able to due to their 48-72 hours cancellation policy Due to this they decide to move me to a new room the second time I then grab my belongings and move into the room With being the second time moved, I thought I would be satisfied and everything will be okay, until around 11PM, there was a Middle Eastern man that was knocking on my door and was waiting there Immediately, i felt unsafe and I called the front desk Monica picked up and said that she will check it out and let me know, but she never called me back During my check out, I asked the staff if I could speak to the manager, and Monica stated that she would let her manager know of my cell number and that the manager would give me a call back To conclude, I never got a call back from the manager at Hilton Garden Inn Very disappointed I plan on never using Hilton

Sarah Jordan

I love Hilton I stay with them exclusively There are tons of Hilton hotels in this area

I would suggest you pick any of those This property charged me $640 more than the rate I booked with and agreed on They say they did so because when I checked in on the app I added the guest I was with’s name to my stay My stay in a one bedroom king room booked for 2 people… it’s totally bogus I do this every time I book when I check in and have never had an issue before Luckily the Hilton diamond desk saved me and refunded the money But because this hotel was unwilling to refund the money they had to mail me a check vs refunding $640 on my credit card I have never been treated so poorly by Hilton Love the brand Sad that this location is so unfitting of the name

I could rave on and on about this place! Comfortable beds with soft sheets, gorgeous spacious bathroom with nice big bottles of JR Watkins toiletries, good grab and go breakfast with hot and cold options, coffee all day that actually tastes good, and just an overall clean facility (no carpet in the rooms is a huge plus) Our room did have a small cube fridge and microwave, which wasn’t clear when booking, but a very nice surprise The whole place is just super well put together, and we were thrilled with our stay

This place had absolutely everything I look for in a hotel I’m definitely hooked on the avid brand and will be a repeat customer if the prices remain comparable

We literally just checked out, and this modern hotel is Absolutely one of the best hotels we have stayed in…and yes, that is considering the high value hotels! As an Army veteran, I have traveled all across this country, and one thing that makes my stay the best is the customer The customer service here is second to none!!!! No matter what concern I had, they were prompt, professional, and kind while addressing this issue!Additionally, the breakfast options were amazing! My children loved everything they had to offer, and that’s rare 😁 The hotel is kept clean and stocked with some of the best snack option And the coffee was freshly brewed in a machine that literally grind up the coffee beans to order! Wow!!!!!!From Becky’s great welcome, the young man on 3rd shifts’ integrity and professionalism, housekeeping’s hard-work, maintenance’s kindness, to Erin’s generosity to my children before leaving, WE LOVED this hotel staff!!! Don’t be fooled by the low cost, you will be getting top notch service!!

Elise D

I booked this hotel for a work trip that I had in town I feel that the hotel was clean – check in was easy and every encounter that I had with the staff there was great! Everyone was very nice and friendly The breakfast was also nice

One item to note is that the room is TINY – even by NYC standards I could barely walk around the bed – which was not I expected It is also close to the highway so it was a little loud at night There are also no drawers for clothing or a closet in my room (one king)I liked the gym – I will say that it was well equipped and fully functional! A highlight of the property for certain! The other item to note is that there was no housekeeping I feel that is just ridiculous So everyone can be congregated at breakfast with no masks, staff does not have to wear a mask (which is consistent with CDC guidelines so no issue there) but you don’t have housekeeping because of COVID? That does not make a whole lot of sense and just looks like a cost saving effort on the hotels part It was frustrating to have keep asking for fresh towels/soap etc from the front deskIf you are going to reduce your rates to account for the lack of housekeeping, that is one thing – but to charge full fare for no housekeeping, I did not think was fairOverall, liked the property so I would stay here again though

I grew up in Round Rock and remember watching this hotel be built as a kid That said, it’s more than 20 years old and it’s starting to show While it’s still very nice and the lobby is updated, the rooms could use a refresh

Still giving it 5 stars because it was very clean, staff were nice, and the price reflects that it’s not the nicest, most modern hotel in town I also loved that it’s pet-friendly, as normally I have to stay at not-so-great places in order to have a pet-friendly hotel Would stay here again (Stayed here at Thanksgiving, 2021)

Had an incredible experience! Staff is awesome and helpful Really feels like one big family The speakeasy downstairs is one of the coolest places we went to

Rooms are a bit small, but honestly didn’t have any issues with storing my belongings Left the door open and unlocked a few times and everything was safe Will definitely be staying there next time I’m in Austin

The location is fantastic You can walk everywhere from here It is kept very clean

(maybe the individual bed fans could be cleaned though) I stayed twice and when I was on the second floor I could hear the music from the bar very easily Luckily I liked the music and could listen to it from my bed, in my pyjamas Win The next time I stayed on the third floor and this had nicer bathrooms I couldn’t hear the music from this floor I would have liked a larger social area and if they could run social events in the evening, as I didn’t feel so safe walking around Austin alone at night I’m sure travellers would be happy to donate towards this if it was offered

Wife and I decided to stay here while on a business trip based on the positive reviews While the hotel itself was decent, we had one of the worst experiences with the front desk clerk upon arrival We walked in and up to the front desk (there was no one else in the lobby)

The younger man working behind the front desk didn’t say a single word to us Instead he stared at us and raised his eyebrows I told him we had a reservation and, without saying a word, he held up his hand , as if he were holding something and just stared at me I literally thought maybe he couldn’t speak or something So I asked him what the gesture meant, to which he finally said, “Id” At this point, I was a little annoyed, but gave him my id He proceeded to quietly check us in on the computer Once finished he, still without saying anything, looked at me tapped the credit card machine with his hand Extremely annoyed now, I tapped the credit card machine back and asked him “what does this mean??”My wife followed up by asking what was with the attitude to which he replied that he was having a bad day I can certainly sympathize with someone having a bad day, BUT, when your number one job is to be HOSPITABLE, and you can’t do that, then you probably should find a different job I strongly suggest Marriott work on their customer service training There’s certainly no shortage of hotels that will gladly take your $150+/night and not treat you like your an inconvenience

We always stay at this place every time we are in town to visit our college children The location is convenient and the facility is nice The day time staff are very nice and friendly especially the on site manager Ms

Mary However, last several times when we checked in around 8:30 pm on Friday or Saturday evenings, the night shift staff, especially the big guy is very rude and he looks angry for no reason I felt he was judging/profiling me The credit card machine at the front desk is very difficult to use and it needs replaced I had problems with swiping my card for the recent check ins

He checked us in and assisted us since we have a Marriott BonVoy CC account, due to the app not accepting the phone number! The room we got was TERRIFIC! It has a kitchenette and all amenities of home feeling fir extended stays! A dining table with 4 chairs, lounge chair with lamp, large shower, comfy beds with fluffy bed linens and great TV stations! Nice large windows with blackout curtains that really black out!! We did get in pool, it was so cool, nice, 4

5 ft deep Nice lawn chairs, and tables with umbrellas! Out front is a patio area with 2 grills and nice large comfy patio sectional! Very nice to hang out and grill a nice steak and potatoes dinner! Breakfast was good, an assortment of hot/cold, coffee, and different juice and milk cartons Eggs, bacon, turkey sausage patty, hot large pot of oatmeal, bread, cold cereal, boiled eggs, and waffle machine Plenty tables to sit no matter the time! The lady keeps breakfast going, no waiting! Dogs are welcomed!!!! Just make sure they are safe snd not barking all day and night! I stayed in room 209 The sheets reeked of chlorine It wasn’t noticable during the day, but at night, it made it hard to sleep

One of the elevators was not working I liked the plants in the lobby It made the place feel much more comfortable The breakfast was good The shower wasn’t working I tried to pull the little thingy on the water faucet but it didn’t work so instead I just used the bathroom sink The toilet paper was too far behind the toilet which made it hard to reach The electrical outlets are kinda iffy Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’tIf I ever come again, I’ll bring my own blankets and pillows I think it’s genuinely a good hotel It’s just got some design flaws

The hotel is very clean and beautiful with great breakfast but there’s room for growth especially in the service areaAccording to one staff member you need to request your room to be served otherwise they won’t clean it even if the do not disturb sign is not displayed at the door That’s exactly what happened to us, but once we addressed the issue they brought us everything we needed and the front desk gave us some treats

There is only 1 working elevator at this establishment, which made for a crowded elevator ride, both up and down A couple that I visited with said that the elevator had been down for one entire week, even though it’s clearly marked that the service for the elevator has been scheduled With the currently working elevator, it would make a nasty shimmy when stopping at the top floor, which made for a scary/uncertain experience which was troubling

Within the room that we stayed, there was a very disgusting spot on the curtains, the buttons on the telephone in the bedroom did not work properly, there was a crack in the bathroom sink, the television set in the bedroom only connected to audio and would not connect to see what was on the screen, and the microwave oven was filthy/dirty/nasty We then reached out to the front desk and were told that the maintenance individual had already left for the night When we called back, there was no one available to pick up the call We then went downstairs and saw the front desk person sitting in the atrium casually visiting with another hotel employee When we went downstairs, with pictures, we shared with the front desk personnel what we had seen/experienced in the room and magically the maintenance person was still on sight to go upstairs and review the problems that we had reported I felt that the staff was very nonchalant and was overall not very helpful Also, we had been upgraded to the premium suits, complete with snacks and beverages, but were not made aware that the snacks and beverages would only be available at the initial check-in, and might only be replenished if we stayed more than four nights, since the hotel policy is that any room service/housekeeping only happens after a four-night stay I realize that a lot of things have changed since Covid, back in March of 2020, but I hadn’t realized just how much has changed
