This was our first time staying at a Drury Hotel I have to say I was a big fan We had spent the entire day at the Aviation Museum and were completely exhausted and we were starving

We arrived to check in right around the time of the afternoon buffet It was so nice for our family to be able to eat on site and to not have to head out or wait for a delivery There were plenty of options for everyone The food wasn’t anything fancy but we were completely content The kids also enjoyed taking popcorn back to the room It was also nice to have a breakfast buffet with plenty of options before we headed out to the zoo The check in and out was quick amd easy The room was very clean The price for our stay was very reasonable If you have kids I highly recommend for an extra easy stay

M E

Stayed here for 1 night because we decided to check out the local zoo We were promptly greeted with a smile The receptionist was very nice

The room was nice, clean, stocked and the bed was very comfortable They had a couple of nice extras one they called a kickback Fresh food from I believe 5pm -7pm Then a nice fresh breakfast in the morning Now the downside The TV in the room was outdated It would have been nice to have been able to Bluetooth from my laptop what I wanted to watch due to the lack of anything good on that night Then there was construction going on that was a little noisy at times They have a pool but it was closed due to the construction Even if it was open probably would not have used it due to it only being 3ft deep and not very big at that The mini fridge in the room was not even on upon check in So the drinks we put in it would not get cold Overall it was a comfortable stay If your looking for a hotel with a pool I would not recommend this one If your looking for great hospitality, very comfortable bed and good food this is the spot I even used a black light in this room to check for cleanliness and found few missed opportunities

I mostly so angry that this place is amazing, but doesn’t have free breakfast I get that they need to doubt you in every single place that they can, but really? Breakfast? Come onBut how can I say that when the meal was so freaking amazing

My stay was amazing! I’m so angry that I loved it so much but the price killed me But it was worth it Lol

Most of my review of the hotel is good…check in, breakfast, cleanliness, front desk help, all was good, but the most important part was sleeping here, where my experience wasn’t the best I was above the outdoor patio area, and there was a loud group out there pretty late that I could hear through my window

The A/C didn’t have an option to just run the fan all night, so I had to keep turning the temp down to try and drown out the noise Just my suggestion to request a room away from the outdoor patio, but it may be fine on your stay

Terry Tyner

I like the rooms, especially the kitchen areaLots of shelves and storage if you plan on staying a while I have stayed in several different rooms and each of them had a malfunctioning sliding hidden bathroom door that basically could not be closed

Im usually traveling alone, but if I had a companion or kids with me it would be really awkward really quickly I also could not activate a fan mode on the AC, so if you like to have the blower on while asleep, you can’t without having the heat or AC on

I haven’t stayed at a cleaner hotel Staff were so kind and helpful We were greeted and asked what brings us there and had a very pleasant conversation about our weekend plans with the front desk employee

Accessibility was easy, room was spotless, laundry room was so convenient, breakfast was delicious! I loved that there was a waffle maker available The hotel was extremely peaceful overall I, unfortunately, pre-booked a different hotel for the next night and REGRETTED not booking this hotel twice This hotel make me feel comfortable and safe Thank you for a great stay

S F

Room was lovely, spacious, and well-stocked with kitchen appliances Not as clean as it could have been (a piece of popcorn under the bed, glasses had fingerprints and residue) Good water pressure in the shower

Breakfast was lacking Empty cereal holders, dried oatmeal in the bottom of the empty oatmeal pot, cold sausage But they had a variety of teas and muffins Pool was well-kept Fitness center was in great condition Check-in was seamless, and staff were very friendly

Jim Koltz

Good place to stay but, for the money, I would stay at the Residence Inn across the street The rooms are bigger there and the breakfast is laid out a bit better This place is new and very clean, though

The front desk staff were friendly and attentive I would like to see a Tesla charger or two, especially at a newer hotel like this one, and the laundry machines were coin operated, though they were large and held a week’s worth of clothes

My husband and I stayed here on a night passing thru We picked this place just for the pool and hot tub Our rooms were good and the night clerk was awesome

He had a wonderful personality along with great people skills He had breakfast ready and stocked when we were leaving They have a great grab and go selection of Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches along with a waffle maker station The pool area however, was a huge let down The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub looked like pond water It had a musty and mildewy smell coming from it As the day progressed we started seeing more and more questionable looking people checking in We decided to stay in our room until the morning and left early

Amy Eddinger

The entire hotel smells of marijuana It was very disturbing for our 7 year old who kept wanting to know what the smell is Our rooms were decent and clean

The beds who hard as a rock we got in about 6PM on a Friday night and left early the next morning but on the second floor there were bags of garbage just laying outside each door like it was garbage day The breakfast was frozen sandwiches you had to warm up and the juice was terrible

Viola Sadorsky

Manager was horrible Staff was trying to be helpful and let my 86 year old dad use a chair from the lobby to sleep with as he has a medical condition The manager made them come and wake us up and took the chair at 7am

The staff was very upset that she would not wait until check out What would it have hurt the manager to have waited Very POOR management!!!!!!!

I was very happy with every detail about my stay here The place was currently undergoing some renovations but that didn’t bother us Actually never heard any noise from said work

We were the first to stay in this newly updated suite We walked into a good sized living room/kitchen area with a breakfast bar with two chairs A full sized refrigerator, small counter space with sink/garbage disposal and dishwasher The electric stove tops were not installed yet but they offered hot plates to cook on The beds are new and comfy I can’t speak for the other units but this room had a bath tub instead of a walk in shower which was great for the kids Brand new TVs in both living room and bedroom Brand new pull out sofa bed (just call down and ask for extra linens and they are brought up promptly) There is a common courtyard with a fire pit and chairs and a propane grilling area An indoor pool was a great option and towels were readily available poolside Continental breakfast served daily but be early Food selection was good with fruits, muffins, cereal, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausage etcThere was some kind of paint spray on my rental car when I came out in the morning The attendant at the front desk came out and wiped it clean for us Very friendly, great location and average price Would absolutely stay here again

Steve Davis

Place is dirty Huge stains in the carpet in the corridors Drywall falling off walls and ceilings

Rust in the tubs Very out dated They tried to paint touch up but used colors that didn’t match Furniture is old unclean and smelled Had to call front desk cause they allowed a party at Midnight in the middle of the court yard with loud music(weren’t the only ones to complain) Pool is a joke Will never stay here again Staff was uncaring and hard to find

Megan Roush

We really gave this place a 3 out of 5 stars due to a few factors The front desk was very nice and welcoming and even gave a paper with info about the hotel, breakfast and pool hours, etc which we really liked This is more of a business/extended stay hotel so the pool and the fireplace outside close early at 10:00pm every night, but they don’t mind you staying in that area as long as you’re quiet since most of the rooms look in on that area

Breakfast was decent, not 5 michelin star quality, but not a 2 star motel style “here’s a muffin and cereal” type oc breakfast The building is a little out of date, so it didn’t look as nice as the photos online when we booked Further on that, it showed an oven in our room time and there was no oven when we got to our room One of our rooms the curtain was torn and we even found someone else’s child’s boots and socks inside the pull out sofa The elevator floor was always with debris and dirt and the rooms had dust on top of the refrigerators Normally wouldn’t care, but the refrigerators are very short and you can see it on there

I spent a great deal of time looking for an affordable place to sleep while on business in the Columbus area I booked a three-night stay in this hotel after reading the many glowing reviews Now, upon entering the first room I got (room 426), I came across a blanket on which someone (or a pet) had clearly vomited

(There were many chunks of semi-digested food on the blanket, it was thoroughly stained, and it had a pungent odor) The clerk said she would report this to the manager Whether or not she did I don’t know, since nobody proffered so much as a perfunctory apology during my three-day stay (To be fair, the clerk was never discourteous and readily agreed to change my room Still, I think the situation called for an apology) The second room I got (room 401) was hardly cleaner In addition to a great deal of mold around the shower drain (please see picture), one of the pillowcases had not been changed It was only because the pillow had a nauseating smell (a stench so strong that it was impossible for me to ignore it despite how tired I was) that I found out that the pillowcase had multiple yellowish stains, presumably caused by saliva (Please see picture) Since I did not have the time to change rooms again (I was in the Columbus area for business), the next morning I merely requested another pillow (Again, even a perfunctory apology was in order No apology whatsoever was proffered) When I returned to my room in the evening, I came across a chocolate wrapper near one of the nightstands (I was so tired the previous night that I didn’t see it)To be fair, the rooms are well appointed (and tastefully decorated), the staff is generally courteous, the breakfast was adequate (given the category of this establishment), and the location is good (given the price of the room) But my main expectation with hotels like this (two- or three-star extended stay hotels/motels) this is that they uphold high standards of cleanliness As far as I’m concerned, almost everything else (aside, of course, from the courtesy and effectiveness of the staff) is somewhat superfluous Judging from my very negative experiences with these two rooms, I don’t think this hotel does a good job in this regard (at least not as far as the guest rooms are concerned) I regret having chosen this hotel

Tara Cadwell

I want to give this 5 stars We loved the room It was huge, super clean and the kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge was amazing! We happened to book the same night as multiple youth baseball teams who were unfortunately allowed to run around the hotel all night

Pounding on windows, lighting fireworks, spraying silly string all over, running up and down the halls well past 10Even when I tried to take a break to the downstairs, the lobby was packed full of the baseball parents drinking alcohol and watching a baseball gameI don’t blame the kids, but it should have definitely been more controlled by the staffWe also weren’t able to use the pool the last day because their PH levels were off It was the whole point we chose this location

melissa melnik

On 3:00pm arrival, 3/26/22 we had to wait until 4:30pm for our room The lobby was filled with other guests waiting even longer then the 15 hours we had to wait while the rooms were being cleaned

It was very stressful for the guests and the cleaning staff They looked absolutely miserable Our stay didn’t get any better The room had an exhaust fan in the sleeping quarters which was very loud It generated an unpleasant noise for the entire restless night I tried to call the font desk and the phone in our room did not work!?! What if there was an emergency? Perhaps the phone shouldn’t be in the room if it doesn’t function? I went down to the front desk – they said there was nothing they could do Our hotel experience at Home2 was absolutely horrible

Person at front desk was friendly and very pleasant and from Euclid Oh The people doing the morning breakfast were also super helpful and friendly The breakfast was amazing to be free

Pancakes, sausage, eggs, different cereals, biscuits and gravy muffin and rolls Just fantastic The beds were soft sheets clean Only complaint was the tub wasn’t quite clean But overall a great experience I will definitely come back

Robert Saka

I’m here now and I have only 1 regret I wish I had one more night to stay

Also it looks like this was just recently renovated in the past year or so and it looks much better than what might be on some websites or hotel booking platforms They were so nicely renovated that I almost thought I was walking into the wrong Hotel It definitely looks and feels like a four-star hotelI’m known to be a bit of a fussy traveler at times , especially when it comes to hotels Sadly this hotel left me with nothing to complain about The room was very clean and comfortable The AC was great The washroom was quite new and modern They had a really good free breakfast The staff were very kind and professional To all my travelers with babies This hotel offers a free and really quite cute baby crib they can roll up to the room if needed but be sure to claim one early or call ahead to reserve as they do go quickly To all the dads out there yes there is tons of free parking 😎 Happy and safe travels all

Brianna Alheim

We stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better placeThe woman at the front desk during check in was so friendly and helpful I had a last minute cancellation with the person who was supposed to share a room with me

She was great at not only switching me to a king instead of two queens but she also made sure I was still close to my family I also traveled withThat night I realized I had forgot to bring the pac n play for my son I called down to the front desk and the lady checked to see if they had a spare crib She told me she would bring it right up if they did or call if they didn’t She brought it right up within ten minutes of our call They didn’t charge me extra either which was lovelyThe room was spacious and I thought the bed was incredibly comfortable It was definitely a nice place to stay and I would stay again when traveling that way

Great rooms, love the second floor balcony overlooking the nice courtyard Another reviewer said this place was “quiet” – not if you’re from a rural area!! You can definitely hear the highway from the balcony but that’s okay I just appreciated having the balcony and the view

Nice big try right outside the balcony so it was just nice to be able to step out and get some fresh air without having to go outside of the hotelBed is comfy – I would describe it as soft but firm enough to support the spine Super comfy pillows (there’s an extra one in the closet for rooms with a pull out sofa if you are a pillow fiend like me and want ALL OF THE PILLOWS)The breakfast options were sufficient but definitely not like a regular restaurant Probably about 5 or so menu items, give or take I ended up just going to the Sunny Street Cafe down the road which was simply deliciousAlso, I can run myself a HOT bath! That was wonderful and much needed It’s the little things! Good room for the price Only 4 stars due to the highway noise

patrick lyles

There currently under renovation but we have had nothing but smiles and a warm welcome the entire stay The rooms are well kept and passed my walk through Inspection before putting the bag down My only problem I had is that I’m a bigger guy and the shower was narrow

The interior courtyard was amazing and extremely relaxing along with a good size pool that was not crowded at the time The price was on the high side to me for a night $135 a night But I don’t usually stay in hotels so that up to you Overall 9/10 stay deffinety recommend

Amy Tranter

If you are a prudent booker of hotels and picky about finding the very best hotel, I would not suggest you choose Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Dublin The only positive I would say is the pool – it’s not as “small” as some indoor pools feel, and it’s saltwater vs chlorine That’s where the positives end

First off, the location is horrible – this is not at an exit with hotel and store options nearby There is no complimentary breakfast or even coffee as is common with most Marriott brands There is one ice machine on the entire first floor – it’s a long, long walk The TV is positioned to the side of the King bed instead of right in front of it The shower stall is tight and with a fabric shower curtain, which you know is not often washed or replaced The woman at the front desk was not kind An elderly lady had been walking all over to find the ice machine – the front desk woman said “yes, we just have the one and pointed which direction” I went and got ice for the guest myself Upon leaving, the same person was working and said absolutely nothing except “no” when I asked if we needed to stop to check out If you’re going for the “bar” – it’s not one – it’s a counter and right in same area as check-in counters – it offers no atmosphere I was very disappointed in this Marriott experience

On the surface this location is very nice Once I got settled in my room I found that this place needs a lot of maintenance attention The tile in the bathroom has been “fixed” with caulk and pretty poorly

The carpets need to be replaced They show signs of serious wear Hot water was practically non-existent I turned the shower on full hot water and it barely got warm enough to tolerate The location and staff are very nice They need to do some updating

Julia Titus Emerson

I have stayed here for years! The staff are always friendly and helpful I came to visit my mom because she broke her hip at 93 and is not doing well I had to bring my work with me

I’m a captioner and couldn’t give up the job They hooked me up with their conference/meeting room and got me hard wired to the Internet so I could provide captions to the Deaf and hard of hearing! They didn’t charge me for the meeting room! They go above & beyond to help out!! I’m back again because they just keep proving they are going to provide 5 ⭐️ service every time! The rooms are always clean The breakfast is always good! You’re not going to get an omelet made for you, but the food is packaged and there’s variety It’s perfect for being on the go!

Ky Maz

Not as clean as we would have liked it I did find a fairly large stain on the comforter of our bed Booger on sink

Bathroom very outdated and small We were on the first floor and it was horrible To the point I wanted to move rooms Very loud at night, and there was a picnic table outside of our window that people went to all nights of the hr and we heard everything Pool was also outdated but clean Breakfast was okay, great selection though I will say the staff was amazing Everything we needed or complained about was fixed immediately Older lady who works during breakfast is so sweet Just wasn’t highly satisfied with our room unfortunately

Breakfast is always missing something whether it be milk, juice even water sometimes Laundry room is small and is out of order Pool is not open

I could tell the room wasn’t cleaned before I checked in, and my dishwasher had old food stuck to the bottom From my understanding this hotel used to be really good but now that it’s under new management It has really been underwhelming I’m still staying here so I’ll update it at the end of my stay

Robert Wolf

I have stayed at several other Sonesta ES locations in the past and typically had good experiences The problems with this location was not the staff as they were polite and helpful The condition of the room on the other hand, leaves much to be desired

Our room had a great floor plan with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and seperate living area However, the TV in one bedroom did not have a picture, only sound The kitchen faucet was mounted so loose I had to use two hands to turn the water on as I felt it would be ripped right off of the counter One of the headboards was torn very badly and looked terrible We found several stink bugs in the room which my infant daughter almost grabbed one The sofa was also stained and torn and had makeshift covers over them to “hide” their poor condition Cobwebs were in on the bathroom ceilings, one of which had a dead spider Also, there was a fireplace as advertised, but was inoperable Lastly, the windows were so drafty, my wife had to use coat hangers and a blanket to cover them to prevent our daughter from getting too cold I would not recommend staying here

Nida Syed

Do not stay here! Instead go to home2Suites This place is disgustingly grimy There was grime everywhere

on the side of toilet, on the walls, kitchen cabinets, fridge, kitchen sink, microwave(inside, outside, underneath), bathroom Disgusting stains on bed board, walls, doors The kitchen drawers had leftover food crumbs from prior residents had greasy finger prints all over cabinets microwave The kitchen sink and sink handle was so disgusting had to use a glove to use it I have very sensitive skin my skin starting itching everywhere within a few minutes Again stay away from this establishment!!! There cleaning staff don’t bother to clean after other residents leave 🤮🤮🤮

I came for a professional conference, stayed 2 nights The room appeared clean, until I noticed an odd stain next to the bed, and on the curtains The room could use some updating and repair to the furniture

The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet Breakfast buffet was good The conference rooms on the ground floor were freezing every time I went in for a session It was 90 degrees outside, and I was looking up the closest place to buy a jacket Overall, not a bad place to stay, but I expected something a little cleaner for the price

Jeremy

Room was nice and clean, had plenty of space for a hotel room The cable had been disconnected but was hooked back up by the staff after we called We stayed over a weekend and the pool is warm and clean but there’s no towels available unless you ask at the front desk

Staff doesn’t enforce any pool rules so noise and occupancy gets crazy in there Staff doesn’t monitor any type of noise in the hotel at all either There were kids and adults hollering in the lobby and running the walkways until almost 1am The bar in the lobby is nice but when people blare music and scream all not, it makes the evening less than enjoyable Parking is 10 bucks a night and we were charged a different rate for the room each night we were there Decent hotel if you only consider room condition but I won’t stay there again due to all the other issues

The hotel is very clean, but the staff is a huge issue! Walk by the shuttle driver in reception several times and all i could smell was alcohol and marijuana

thats not all when asking for directions anywhere i would get an attitude from the personnel! Will definitely never stay at this Hampton, of course unless the staff gets either better trained or changed! Horrible experience and also the pool was out of service due to a kid having an accident that caused the entire hotel to be evacuated, you can actually google it Love Hampton but that week stay was simply horrifying!

I would give a 4 star review, but I’m a big fan of customer service because I’m in the customer service industry and from the moment we walked through the door the lady at the desk was rude and very unwilling to help accommodate our party of 8 that was staying Also, she got our bills wrong which I specifically told her which room we were paying for since they were different prices, but again she was so inconsiderate and wasn’t worried about customer satisfaction but only her dag on pop tart that we interrupted her eating!!!

We were staying with our family and after the first afternoon we had to take our daughter to Urgent Care as she was reacting adversely to their pets We were released but could not stay with them so we made a call to The Residence Inn at 2am and Christine was just fabulous She got us in immediately, set us up with an extra bed set and comped a bottle of water

She even walked to the other side of the hotel to let us in the back door Then, she called up to the room to make sure everything was perfect We had a TREMENDOUSLY positive experience with Christine and the whole team over the three nights Highly recommend!

Teresa is a darling—my family, pets, and I stayed here as a stop along the way for our move across country; she worked with us to find the best place to park our trailer and even upgraded our room to make our stay more comfortable This is a great, clean hotel with a nice breakfast and a friendly, helpful front desk and back of house staff that we would stay in again (and probably will as we have family nearby) Many thanks to Teresa and the other staff for what was our best hotel stay along many on this long, cross-country journey

We live local and wanted to use our free night with the kids and swim When we got to the hotel that man said the pool was closed We were bummed at that time

Theresa went above and beyond and helped us not only get our points back , but she helped us call other Marriott near by and get us a great room with a pool I will come back here for the excellent customer service Awesome looking room for the 2 min I was in there Great job Marriott!

Staff has been great Staff aside, this hotel is complete garbage We booked through Expedia and I didn’t realize the breakfast wasn’t included

They want $1250 / person to eat (no free coffee either) Our room A/C isn’t keeping up, it’s warm, our A/C unit is leaking, causing the carpet surrounding the A/C to be SOAKED (I’m sure it is also moldy) and our bathroom smells like wet dog Also, when you turned the shower on, it sounds like 1,000 bees behind the shower wall (there aren’t actually bees, it is just really obnoxious) The toilet runs and runs and runs I’m just flabbergasted they have the audacity to ask for $1250 / guest for breakfast on top of our already expensive booking costs when our room isn’t even worth $170+ a night We’re paying $37609 for two nights here Which also makes no sense seeing as how our booking through Expedia was only $34192 Just overall NOT PLEASED with our stay here in any way, shape or form **WOULD NOT RECOMMEND**

I expect more when I visit AC properties The location is great and the front desk staff is friendly and accommodating The food options were limited as we visited on a Sunday evening during COVID, which is fine However, the rooms themselves seemed to be quite dirty for a newer hotel

The cleanliness was more in line with what I expect at a Days InnThe room I was initially given had a stained mattress, so I requested a new room and noticed this room had red stains in the exact same spot next to the nightstand Apparently the construction of the bed leads to any spills on the nightstand staining the mattress a blood red color since the bedframe and nightstands are connected They could mitigate this by putting washable bed bug covers on the bed, but instead they have cheap torn mattress covers that don’t protect the much of anything We also noticed that the floors in the room were very dirty in both rooms and our feet tended to stick to the floors We walked on them briefly in white socks, and noticed right away that our socks were turning black from the dirt We made sure to wear our shoes the rest of the nightAlso, when booking on the Marriott app as a gold member during a low vacancy time period, I listed a high floor, extra pillows and a crib or pack and play as my requested preferences; none of those were accommodated without me having to request them again after checking into our room when we noticed they weren’t there It wasn’t a big deal, but would have been nice to have them available as soon as we arrived since we were tired and wanted to put our newborn to bed

The AC Hotel was the hotel we had our wedding hotel block at, and they were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish! Shay was so responsive and so helpful with all of the set-up And all of the management staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcome and taken care of Would absolutely recommend working with this group!

The hotel is new, looks great, love the king bed room with a sofaBut special mention to Ali and their friendly staff Ali made us feel extra welcome and was honestly a reason we would come back here sooner

Unfortunately we did have a guest who was staying above us walk around til 1:30am and woke me up in the morning too as I’m a light sleeper But I think that can happen any place
