By far the best managed hotel I’ve ever been in at this price point Love the food trucks and nightly activities Very very clean and well organized and communication is great

Staff is all top notchOnly stayed here because it was close to work location so not crazy about the location, but it’s a great hotel

Shawna Peters

The space was amazing It seems like everything is new And there is a fresh smell to the hotel

So I really appreciate the fact that the place is clean and newer Not to mention the rooms with kitchen living room bedroom and bathroom It gives more of a home feel to it The staff was really good they were very welcoming and professional I am very grateful for that The managers were very helpful and knowledgeable This is a great place to stay and the location is great as well Thanks!

A great hotel experience I stayed at Residence Inn for 9 nights, so really had a chance to see it in operation Every single member of the staff — front desk, breakfast service, housekeeping staff, groundskeepers — were helpful, professional and so friendly

And the place is immaculate Self parking is great; proximity to the highway makes getting around Oahu easy I will stay here again

I love love love this hotel! The view is beautiful, and it’s so clean everywhere I love their system for valet parking They’re very quick and friendly

We stayed on the 21st floor so the view of the mountains and Waikiki is beautiful However, we’ve been staying here for 4 nights and 5 days without cold water in the restroom When I said no cold water, I mean absolutely no cold water Imagine yourself showering with burning hot water that causes third degree burns This is such a traumatizing experience for me and my friends We’ve complained and was advised someone would do something about it, and nothing We couldn’t move to another hotel since everywhere is booked The hotel said someone was going to come and fix this problem, but then again they didn’t care to fix it I’m surprised not much could have been done If you’re unit have a water problem, you can move us to another room This is my first time to Hawaii and it could have been a very positive experience otherwise if it hasn’t been for this I understand there are situations where things just doesn’t work out, and we are just unlucky with the room having a malfunction However, how the hotel react to it is very important Such poor communication and management for such a nice place If you’re unlucky like us then you’re pretty much screwed I would not recommend this place

Enjoyed staying here Book lagoon (not Marina side, not city/concrete jungle side) #1130 was nice for what we needed

Blackout curtains would have been a nice addition Large balcony to have morning beverage or snack, tv, air conditioning, updated kitchen and shower, king bed and sofa bed Can view fireworks from balcony on Friday nights Would stay again Pool was nice Restaurant downstairs outside Ice cream, trinkets and some items at store at hotel like postcards, makeup bags, beach bags, soaps, beverages, snacks Very nice open air restaurant with fantastic history Walking distance to restaurants, beach and lagoon right there, Marina, perfect view from balcony

Vince K

Room was very nice, great view Centric location in Waikiki Plenty of food, shopping, and beaches in the area

Had fully stocked kitchenette, meaning utensils and cookware Temp was great but wish the fan/cooler could be aimed more at the bed Liked that all we had to do to check in/out was enter a code in the door lock Security was very nice during the few interactions we had with them Not sure if this is a normal thing with these kind of rentals but they only give you a ‘starter’ set of goods (tp, shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion and towels) and then a small fee of you want more or buy some at the market in the lobby I guess my point is that you usually get those things from room service as part of your stay Was nice sitting on the open pavilion and enjoying a couple of meals at sunset They have two pools, technically Main one is a regular pool with an outdoor hose and then showers in the adjacent bathroom Higher level one was just a jacuzzi and a very shallow pool You will get jealous of neighbors on either side however cause the Hilton has a crazy water fall pool with decoration and the other side has gazebos all around the perimeter of their pool with a big round splash pad Would recommend

I was worried that a dry town would be no fun but I was so wrong You can have drinks in your room, just not out in public places Obviously if you’re wanting a swim up bar, this isn’t the way to go

We brought our 2 kids (12 & 9) and had an absolutely fabulous time for 12 days We were super close to the pool, had a pretty quiet room for being on the first floor, quick service whenever we needed anything (we got our room cleaned twice while we were there & asked for extra pillows/ spa face masks), and could walk to food at the Hukilau Marketplace in the Polynesian Cultural Center next door The Bistro is not really a restaurant, they have a few items for breakfast and a few for dinner and that’s it There are so many food truck options nearby or to the north or elsewhere on Oahu, it totally worked out BTW the cabanas are only $20 for two hours, totally worth it Also, the on-site laundry is coin operated but the front desk gives quarters- if you have sensitive skin you’ll need to buy detergent, they only have regular detergent, not free and clear, in their vending machine I would absolutely stay again Lastly, go to Bathtub Beach, it’s a short walk south and amazing for kids

Iva Reis

The best hotel we stayed in Hawaii The staff was very friendly, with exception of one person we spoke on the phone But overall they were very helpful and friendly

The hotel is near the Polynesian Center, so is a different type of stay If you drive there are also gorgeous beaches nearby It is a petty we couldn’t enjoy the beach while staying thereThe Bistro closed early, and most places to eat close early as wellThey do have a microwave in the lobby with some snacks to buy I thinkThey offer Hula, Ukelele, and Lei crafting classes Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try anyThe bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was quietI def recommend

A M

The staff were all super friendly and the hotel rooms were fineIt had a bit of a conference feelThe pool area was good

It’s a shame there’s not a pathway along the main road to the shopping centre as that would be a nice walk, it makes the hotel in a lot less walkable location (not their fault)I knew prior to going to this hotel that it was in a “religious” dry town but I probably wasn’t prepared for how many judgmental “religious” guests would be in said pool area having a lot to say Each to their own but it was pretty full on – I recognise this is one of two hotels on the north shore so those wanting to explore more of the area are limited

This particular location is awesome They make you as a gust feel so welcomed This is my second time staying here and it’s perfect

The team members are the best The front desk employees night and day are the best They go above and beyond and that is true customer service Even though some were training, they were a team and they help each other out I had an issue with my cellphone and had to get a replacement shipped out to me That front desk kept an eye out for my package and call me the second it came in I appreciated that little kindness so much Thank you, thank you The hotel is so clean and I am a germaphobe The housekeeping sprays and disinfects the room before going in to clean The cleaning is impeccable 👌 I will be back

I honestly want to rate Hampton Inn & Suites Kapolei a five star, but I will make it 4/5 I will mention the downside first First, there was no microwave

I would recommend having microwave in all rooms I believe all the guests needs microwave to heat up their food Lastly, the ac Guests should be able to control the temperature in their rooms Me and my family were freezing due to how cold the room was and all we can do was wear jackets, hoodies or sweatshirts, and socksThe good side however is they have free breakfast every day, they can provide us toothbrush, toothpaste, etc (if we need one), get mini fridge, friendly & helpful staff, a swimming pool (already have clean towels for guests to ready to use outside), laundry room, a gym, and a beautiful lounge to stay at I also like how their water dispenser has that footstep to get water instead of using our fingers to pressSo overall, this still a good place to stay at It is a friendly and safe environment 🙂

Lavinia Morrison

I cannot say enough good things about this place! All of the staff are polite, friendly and professional This place is immaculateThe breakfast buffet is great

There is something for everyone The kitchen staff work tirelessly keeping the place clean and the food and beverages replenished There is a fitness center, pool and laundry room on the first door The decor is modern with very clean linesRight outside, in walking distance are a plethora of restaurants and shops!I highly recommend this hotel! ❤❤❤❤

We stayed at 2/2 Bamboo 2 with 4 adults I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to explain how truly astounding this place was We could only enjoy 2 days there because it was booked solid and for good reason! Not only was the home cozy, comfortable and beautiful but the hospitality was second to none

The location was perfect; right across from Hukilau Marketplace which we enjoyed for evening shopping and live entertainment We went to Ken’s Fish Market and bought the freshest fish and shrimp we’ve ever had and prepared a great meal at the bungalow We stopped at the street vendor and grabed Otai to put on our french toast we prepared the next day (I may never use syrup again) Stepping out into the oasis of a backyard with the ocean right there made us feel like we had the island to ourselves If you visit Oahu and only stay in Waikiki, you will be doing yourself a disservice

Steven Ferguson

My fiancé and I tried to book out several villas here for our close family in our wedding party We put in the reservation and 1 day later got an email saying that it was cancelled No explanation

No response after we asked (twice)Sure, you’re absolutely within your right to decline our business We assume you’re worried that we’re gonna throw a huge party (we’re not, and we downsized quite a bit who we were inviting to stay)But how about the professional courtesy to explain why you cancelled the reservation?

Not too bad overall, but a little overrated The price is what you’d expect from a military-affiliate hotel, so the higher rank you are the less value you’re getting The location isn’t bad, but a little outside the main area (this may be considered an advantage)

Parking is $16 is you’re staying there, which is great for the area The big hit on this hotel for me, along with the rough towels in the bathroom, was the pool There’s an adult only pool, a main pool with an infinity pool above it, and a splash area for children The splash area is fun, but the main pool had so many rules it was hard to enjoy anything:- the entire pool is cleared at the top of the hour for “safety and training,” whatever that entails (it wasn’t obvious)- a child must know how to swim to swim in the pool without a life jacket (which they will provide) I understand that’s extremely safe, but then what’s the point of the three lifeguards and the other rule to be within arm’s reach of your young child all the time? Clearly this pool is not a good opportunity to have a child practice swimmingOverall, I’m glad I stayed a night, and I haven’t discounted the Hale Koa entirely, but I will definitely do a thorough cost comparison with hotels in the area before staying again

Jessica Morel

Friendly staff, very clean hotel and Omgosh the beds are comfortable as ever! There is a Starbucks in the main lobby which is convenient when you want to wake up early and just lounge in the lobby area Downstairs there is the Exchange for military and hotel guest Pathway downstairs leads you to the pools and beaches

Food was good I had a cheeseburger and fries for lunch which was delicious Ocean view rooms you will not regret if you purchase it was amazing! Free parking and walking distance from the strip I definitely would book here again!

Tammy Folks

Hale Koa is a haven in the craziness of Waikiki The grounds are stunning The adult pool was so relaxing and quiet, with shaded areas which is a must for me

Liked the Barefoot Bar as there was a lot of room to spread out, and had good drinks for a reasonable price Our room was very nice, we were on the end so had an extra large window which made it feel more spacious Our friends stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian village which was beautiful, but it was way too crowded for us We enjoyed the serene quiet of Hale Koa! The only thing I would change is for restaurants to have more gluten free options as I have celiac disease The breakfast buffet was fine, but the snack bars really had very little or nothing I could eat This hotel is a definite perk for those who serve/retire from the military We felt blessed to have the opportunity to stay there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marine Surf Waikiki It was the perfect size for our family of four for our one week stay We really enjoyed the location

It was about a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach and just minutes from several different places to eat The free parking was an incredible plus in a place where parking can be difficult to find In addition to the kitchenette, we enjoyed the extra perks of having beach towels, beach chairs, and a boogie board If we didn’t feel like going to the beach, the pool was a nice option The kitchen was nicely stocked with the necessities to prepare meals in the room if you don’t feel like going out Although it is right in the city on a busy street, we couldn’t hear any noise inside our room The check in and out process was simple Our flight was delayed 6 hours and we still got in with no problems My texts were responded to in a very timely manner The ONLY issue we had was the shower was not as warm as we would like at times

David Heath

This place was AMAZING! 10 min walk to Waikiki beach and a steal of a deal! Immaculately clean and they thought of everything! Check-in/check-out instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow Niko was great to work with and put finishing touches on the place that gave it a personal feel Absolutely perfect

I would happily come back here and recommend it to my loved ones!

Very nice hotel with full kitchen and balcony (at least the two rooms I stayed in) Slightly upscale, but not excessive Pricing was reasonable and staff were super nice and helpful

Valet parking wasn’t exorbitant and they provide 24 hr vehicle access Overall, I’d recommend Luana if you have a mid range budget There are both cheaper and more expensive options nearby, but this place was great

Jesse Sinyster

Room was nice, balcony, sink, toaster oven, dishes and silverware It definitely hit all the right spotsExcellent for the Waikiki area

Short walk to the beach and a hop away from the shopping districtThe best part? The diner located in the hotel It was some of the best food we had on the entire island Price is perfect and portions were great Always satisfied with a meal from there

Sampath Durairaj

Our stay in Luana was excellent overall Room was clean and spacious, ocean view and the patio were great and the location was perfect! What compelled me to write a review was the support and care we received from Patricia Davis from housekeeping We forgot few valuables in the room and Patricia went above and beyond in getting them delivered to us

She showed empathy, care and diligence and kept us well informed through the process Her management of the situation and customer care was par excellence! Thank you Patricia!

We had quite a terrible time at the holiday inn expressIn our first room, the ceiling was flooding and leaking (see photos) When we told the front desk they had a maintenance person inspect it and tell us we had to move rooms

We got downgraded in our rooms and the front desk refused to give us any compensation for the downgrade or the fact that the ceiling was leaking It was very unfortunateAt the very least they should offer a night or two off or a discountThen, the front desk double charged us twice for our resort fees We paid these upfront through the booking agent, but then they tried charging us again when we arrivedThe morning breakfast is also very low quality and not worth it It’s convenient but not good We ended up going out for breakfast most daysThe housekeepers were great though They always worked very hard to keep the hotel cleaned and they were much appreciated

Jeff Blankenship

Two queens with ocean view is not disappointing us Centrally located and within walking distance of good food and beautiful beaches You get breakfast every morning helping save money on meals

No restaurant or bar on premiseSmall pool but a nice size jacuzzi Putting section and ping pong Great place to relax after a long day of soaking up the sun and surfStaff have been extremely friendly and helpfulWe will certainly come back

The hotel is located farther away from the ocean or the main strip than other hotels but I don’t think you will find a nicer hotel when it comes to staff, operation, cleanliness and comfort The valet here is incredibly quick and you will get your car about 20x faster than the Hilton or Marriott The hotel is always kept extremely clean, and provided daily housekeeping in a post Covid world

They provide free beach towels through an easy checkout system You almost never have to wait or share the elevators, which once again was a luxury compared to the Marriott or Hilton Overall if you are looking for a great hotel with no fuss or issues the bigger hotels have this is the place for you If you are looking for an exceptional view of Waikiki Beach I would recommend the locations closer to the ocean

Kimberly Franco

Laurie the manager was awesome! The hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable Location was great with many food and shopping options near by All the staff and Front desk were nice and welcoming! Highly recommended

The pool was small- but it is heated and was a nice place to rest from long walking and hiking days Pictures from balcony were great!

Dave Miller

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Waikiki Hotel The staff was very pleasant and attentive Our room (1005) was very spacious and comfortable, especially for a week long stay

We enjoyed watching sunrise from the balcony Although we were able to hear a lot of traffic noise from our room, it did not affect our sleep (I was very surprised by this, and a little nervous)The hotel location was very convenient and within walking distance of pretty much anywhere in Waikiki, shopping, restaurants, and beaches We had a car and the valet parking worked out nicely and we never had to wait long for our carI normally don’t spend time on reviews, but I wanted to make a point at our happy we were to stay at the Coconut Waikiki

Terrible experience The hotel is very old and needs a renovation We couldn’t use the AC because it stinks

We took the filters out and they wasn’t cleaned for at least a few years, and it helped a little bit No windows so we basically had no air The last night at 4am our room filled with smoke and strong smell of something being burned, we were it’s fire but no fire alarm was on The smell and smoke was strong so we couldn’t be in the room since 4am We had to check out and move outThe room was also very dirty and full of previous guests hairThe area around is full of homeless people but it’s a downtown so it’s kinda as it should be in AmericaVery bad experience with this placeThe stuff was very helpful and nice tho That’s the only good thing about this hotel – the stuff

pafadul

Stayed here last week with my wife and chose this hotel because it was closer to the capitol and the palace In theory it sounded good but was a big mistake The area around the hotel (and I understand that this is out of their control) was not tourist friendly

Lots of homeless wandering around, people sleeping on sidewalks, abandoned looking buildings (the longs drugs at the bottom of the hotel was shuttered), and generally did not look safe The hotel itself does not have a restaurant or room service, so you will be forced to look around the hotel, which is fine unless you want to eat after 3pm (most of the restaurants close after this time) Now for the hotel itself The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but they could only do so much There is no fitness center at this hotel (a first for us since even the holiday inn has a basic setup) but they can sell you a one use pass for the 24 hour fitness nearby for $12 The view in the room was great, but the room itself was dated No comforter on the bed, and room service only comes by after 4 days of your stay You can request housekeeping or more towels, but we never actually tried this The tub had jets but as others had mentioned, the nozzles were black and quite dirty In our room the caulking at the base of the tub was not present, leaving a nice gap between the tile and the tub that looked unsettling when walking around with bare feet The carpet was well worn and the wallpaper was peeling in several places The a/c diffuser was placed on top of the door to the bedroom and ended up blowing directly on us as we tried to sleep, which was annoying It was nice that the rooms have a kitchenette with utensils, mugs, etc That actually came in handy a couple of times We did like the fact that there was a small table in the bedroom as well as the kitchen area and a loveseat as well Lots of room, but everything was just so old and worn down Overall, i think the hotel could be great if they just renovated the rooms I feel like this would have been an awesome hotel like 30 years ago

Stephanie Chase

Spacious room with a full small kitchen, a bathroom with a large tub and a washer/dryer, and a large bedroom with a view The neighborhood around the hotel has many AMAZING restaurants, and it is very easy to access Ala Moana and Waikiki beaches (in fact, much of Honolulu) via the multiple bus lines that come right by the hotel Keep in mind you are in downtown Honolulu, and not the tourist-filled streets of Waikiki

Location is great, short walk to the beach A lot of restaurants and shopping nearby, within walking distance The staff is very welcoming and nice

The rooms are EXTREMELY outdated but clean For the price, it’s a great deal The pools are disappointing, we didn’t even bother spending time there They are extremely small and located between two buildings Might be the saddest pools in WaikikiOverall, if you are looking for a budget option, it’s an decent choice But if you are looking for resort type of property, with nice pool and view, this isn’t the one

I booked my trip through beachbound I was very impressed with the service I received I brought back a lot of sand in our bathing suits and accidentally made a beach in our room

I called room service and they were very quick to come up and vacuum for us and with a smile The front desk was quick to answer any questions we had and very polite The room was spacious but simple which was perfect for my taste The staff made me feel like we were not guests but visiting family that they care about This made my trip easy, at home, and very welcomed I’ve never felt this well treated even by a higher end hotel I was very skeptical at first due to reviews I read but for my experience they were very very wrong Thank you for everything

The staff make the difference here, they were great! We picked the Malia for reasonable prices and weren’t looking for frills Room was clean and comfortable Location was central for walking but the street can be noisy if you’re a light sleeper

We were happy with our stay and thrilled with the staff!

I fly to Hawaii every year for my birthday, and this was one of my favorite stays! The best part of this hotel is the pool area The bartenders and servers are so much fun and so polite! They made my birthday trip here amazing, I truly do miss them! The hotel itself is located in a prime location and the rooms are nice The food here is great too! If you want a beach/pool day and don’t really feel like going anywhere you can honestly assure that you’ll have great food, drinks and service right at your hotel, plus there’s a small beach a short walk right behind the pool

I Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re going to be in Honolulu and I hope to return this year for my birthday when I come back

Everything is good The room size is above average The pools are clean and all amenities are good

The staff are courteous and requests for linen and other essentials were taken care of immediately Parking is not a problem Request a room that has a view of the lagoon so you can watch the fireworks on your room I only gave 3 stars because of the policy that they do not clean the rooms when requested I understand not cleaning daily but if requested, they should clean the room

This was my first stay at the Modern and it was extremely disappointing and nothing special Without prior knowledge, on arrival we were told that there is no room cleaning and we have to ask for fresh towels and other room amenities when we need them, including putting our garbage outside the room Firstly, we are not in quarantine so I don’t know why this is the case and secondly it is not hygienic or pleasant to have used towels and garbage lying around every floor of the hotel corridors

The staff at the hotel are extremely slow at actioning requests When asking for towels, I waited up to an hour for them to be delivered on one occasion They also don’t answer the phone promptly and even before my trip I was trying to contact the hotel about my reservation and I had trouble contacting them via email and phoneThe pool is nice, nothing special The sun beds are filthy however- they could use an upgradePool bar closes at 9:30 which I thought was quite early for a hotel? The overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing- on arrival the room was far from spotless There were hairs on the bathroom floor and dust and dirt on the floor which I had to clean myself3 electrical sockets in my room were not working and the WIFI cut in and outWouldn’t bother staying again- apparently it has recently been acquired by Hilton so I hope they can whip the hotel into shape!

Had high expectations for this resort given its prime real estate Checking in late, we expected an easy & smooth check-in, but ended up waiting way too long – could have been greeted with waters or a complimentary drink to ease the wait The guest experience is lacking given the $ paid – just didn’t feel the warm friendly vibe you would expect

The rooms are dated, but spacious – AC works well Nearby food outlets on the resort are average quality – nothing special (nice part is there is an ABC store on the resort) You have to book your housekeeping (ended up cleaning the room) plus can only hold pool towels for 24 hours or return them the next day Also, make sure you check which building you are staying in as they play live music until 11pm on some nights and found it hard to sleep Pools are good, but busy All and all, would try booking somewhere else next time unless this resort starts to prioritize guest experience management

Beautiful location with direct beach access This conglomerate of Hilton hotels bunched together creating a little shopping haven What is unique with this Hilton location is the fire work every Friday night at 8pm

An experience you do not want to miss The fire work is beautiful and proximal that it feels 3DBali at the waterfront for breakfast: the waitress I have was attentive, personable and made great suggestions Although it looks real pricey, the portion size is decent and can be sharedwhat make up for the price is the view of the ocean and the food being served immediately piping hotThe only cons are the front desk could have smile more and be friendlier Being a diamond member and could not get any member benefits when subscribed to the Hilton Grand vacation package was a total disappointment Not only you can’t check in early, we had to wait 3 hours to be notified that our room was ready Then wait another hour at the mail and key line to find out that our room was not ready That was a little perturbing

The General Manager (Jeff) + all staff of the hotel were amazing, helpful and accommodating This helped my family and I to actually relax and enjoy every moment we were there I am so grateful for the hospitality and professionalism from initially booking to departure

Very clean resort with very high standardsExcellent location Accessible stores and food options within the village + a 15 minute walk to the main strip regardless, for shopping and restaurants Parking although expensive, is in a secured garage steps away from each of the buildings in the resortBeach front, lagoon and landscaping were well maintained and beautifulMandara Spa on site was helpful to rectify an issue and the massage was excellent

The hotel was in a great location

walking distance from shops, restaurants, & the beach The front desk staff was very accommodating to us as we were a family group of 14 They gave us a free cot for 2 different rooms The rooms were large enough for each group The breakfast didn’t have a lot in the way of variety but it was enough for us The lobby area was great for our group for the evenings when we liked to play cards The rooms were cleaned nicely each day after our activities One night there as a lot of noise from the street until like 3am but certainly not the fault of the hotel The guy getting chair’s/luggage was kind of grouchy but I attributed that to the fact that he was always working–day & night with no day off that I noticed throughout our 8 day stay We thanked him for all he did putting up with us & tipped him our last day He did apologize although no apology was necessary If you’re on a budget & want a nice enough place to stay with free breakfast & close proximity to places I recommend it

This is a very nicely located hotel in the middle of everything you need The accommodations are very good, a little above the 3 star rating they have Everyone is friendly and the continental breakfast is also very good

After a fun filled day, I would enjoy sitting by the pond and relaxing with my wife before we went back upstairs to our room I highly recommend it

NOT AS DESCRIBEDI am not one to write a review but this place was so bad that I felt compelled to warn other travelers There are many places to stay in Honolulu, don’t choose this one Not as advertised

The pictures must be from 20 years ago We arrived in Honolulu at 11:30 pm, was told their parking lot was full and there was no street parking The hotel clerk gave us directions to a public lot which he said was a 5 minute walk away and they would validate the parking I asked him if it was safe to walk that distance at night and he said just be aware of your surroundings The parking garage was a 10 minute walk at best but because we found ourselves in the company of multiple people that appeared to be very intoxicated and several looked to be living on the streets, the 10 minute midnight walk felt like an eternity When we finally arrived to our room, it was dated, dirty, the sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and the air conditioner over our bed could not be turned down Just below our room on the street, people were partying until after 3:00 in the morning When we picked up our car the next day from the parking garage, we were charged an additional $2000 with the validation We were very disappointed in this property and if you are considering staying therecontinue your search

My husband & I celebrated our honeymoon at Paradise Bay The views are astounding! Treat yourself to a mountain view suite! You won’t regret it! The views driving up to the main roads are also amazing! My husband was in love! Paradise Bay provides the quaint & relaxing feeling Yes, there are roosters but not heard all of the time

The grills, pool, docks are all amazing! The boat excursion with Brian & Captain Rollin a huge plus & amazing experience! No, they’re not serving breakfast or any dining but everything is within a 10 minute drive & they provide an excellent list of dining suggestions! Minor issues (pillowcase had stains, only 1 side of toaster working) but the views & your experience make those minor issues disappear! Would definitely come back one the breakfast & dining re-open (hopefully very soon!)

Overall the resort is nice It’s clean and they have some great services The staff were all very friendly

My only complaint is that the walls are very thin You can hear your neighbors dishes, conversations, etc as if they were right in your room If they could fix that by adding insulation or removing doors that connect rooms, then they would be fantastic

Kate Oksendahl

The location was wonderful and staff were very friendly Rooms are basic (they’ve got a few TV subscription channels that you can log into if you have your own account) and walls are very thin My only issue was that they are still charging a $19 per night Resort Fee (half off) even though they aren’t serving breakfast and they additionally charge $15 per night for parking

The Resort Fee covers kayak rentals, the fitness room, and pool towels, but if you’re not using those things, it would be nice if it at least covered parking on their property This added up to an additional $200 for 5 nights I’d prefer that they just charge for amenities à la carte Otherwise, we had a great stay

My husband and I stayed here for an extended period with our kids It was nice being able to cook in the full kitchen with kids Also very close to restaurants and shops if you needed

We had a 2 bedroom with was nice to put the kids to sleep without bothering them Each room had its own AC sl we didnt hace to waste power if we werent in a room We were in a middle floor and it was still quiet We loved the pool it was always clean Great option for military families as it’s close to food and easy access to most of the bases down south We plan to stay here again on the way out

Angelica Salazar-Tsoi

The place is a little dated but the room we got for 2 adults, 4 kids and our big dog was perfect! Clean, ready to “live in” Pool is cute and clean There’s a bike path right behind the hotel, it’s by the water, so pretty

Location wise, it’s by the mall so there’s plenty of food options That being said, the street it shoots off from, that area is a little sketch at night I’d stay there again tho! Worth it for me and my big family
