Room was not particularly clean, kitchen counters hadn’t been wiped off and pullout bed had stains and partially broke Certainly have seen worse thoughThe continental breakfast was awful

Right in the middle of serving time, there were no plates, 2 cups and barely any utensils This was despite the fact it was not busy, only one other person Most of the food was gone Front desk was no help, no management on sight When I emailed the manager, Drew Dixon, he never responded Just warning that if you do have an issue, management does not appear yo care at this hotelThe lobby was clean and it’s a good location For the price, I wouldn’t stay again

Sara Hesley

This is the dirtiest Marriott I’ve ever seen The first 2 bedroom suite we were assigned wasn’t even cleaned after the previous guests checked out We were assigned a second room, which was only slightly better

Between my family’s suite and three others occupied by other members of our party, the hotel was in consistently very poor condition – doors and surfaces covered in grime, holes in upholstery, extremely dirty and stained carpet, dirty curtains, stained bathtubs, mildew -covered shower heads, clogged sink, dirty dishes in the kitchens, etc The dimly lit hallways smelled like pet urine Very disappointing experience My feedback was well received by the front desk and promptly blown off bc the hotel is expecting a renovation in the future The future reno is no excuse for filth and doesn’t lessen the impact of a really disgusting experience Charged full price

Great room arrangement however wished that the sink area was connected to the shower and toilet area so that when you took a shower you didn’t have to walk across the room to wash your hands or get a towel for your shower I would absolutely stay here for probably the first time I was acknowledged as a Choice Rewards member Breakfast was very good and well organized as well as having highchairs for families traveling with small children was very impressive

Was extremely disappointed by the pool area completely shut down and closed was really looking forward to swimming in a pool to relax at the end of the day after traveling long day

In my experience Comfort Inn is a very consistent brand It’s great to be able to count on consistency when you’re traveling and everything else like traffic can be pretty inconsistent We got in very late due to 3 hours of traffic delays on our route and we’re promptly in a very comfortable room with absolutely no issues

This hasn’t been the case in other non-Comfort hotels that we’ve stayed on this trip Biscuits and gravy at breakfast were great and hot coffee ready for the road Room was quiet and comfortable Right off the highway location was very convenient too

faith paul

I would definitely recommend this hotel The rooms were in excellent condition, clean and a staff member, Becca, left a nice welcome note The room had a bit of a funky smell, but probably from the previous guests

The bathroom was a bit small, but that’s because they made room for a little living room The breakfast was hot and yummy, and the staff was kind and helpful

All I can say is WOW !! What an incredible experience! My wife and I were traveling from Fl to Neb and this is the perfect stoping place In fact on the way back to Fl we stopped here again The rooms were very nice, well kept and had been upgraded to a premium level

We had a jetted tub that was perfect for a very tired couple Especially after a long day of travel it helped us relax almost immediately We had spent 14 hours on the road Thank You so much for a absolutely amazing stay … twice

Shannon Wontsay

Lovely home(s) beautifully decorated with congenial staff and comfortable beds Very clean as well My only complaint is that, like many older bed and breakfasts, there are no individual HVAC controls in the bedroom

Also, there is the main house and the guest house next door We stayed in the guest house which seemed to host a younger, louder crowd In fact, someone started their laundry at 11:30 at night right outside of our room door Needs to be some house rules or price it accordingly to suit a different crowd of travelers

Dolores Mogensen

A clean room bed was fine Middle of the road Not a B&B when you have to pay extra for the breakfast

We were in the guess house our bath was across the hall Not even Coffee offered you could make your own if you wished Decaf Microwave was dirty I wouldn’t of used it one last thing TP is so thin you read through itWe did meet 3 other couples, all nice all remarked about Coffee Only 8 chairs in to have a conversation

I was always skeptical of the Drury chain, just because of the name, but after reading enough reviews, I decided it was time to see for myself Long story short, this was THE BEST stay I’ve had at this price point The rooms and common areas are SUPER clean and the rooms are spacious, which is especially nice for families with kids

Breakfast and dinner are complimentary I ate out for dinner, but breakfast was amazing (lots of options, all good) There’s a soda fountain available during both mealtimes and they also do popcorn in the evenings The indoor pool and hot tub are nice amenities, the gym is adequate, and the lobby is very nice The staff are a cut above – very friendly and helpful It’s almost weirdit feels like they ENJOY working there! I’m in Paducah from time to time and the question of where to stay is no longer a question at allA few minor opportunities for improvement that did not detract at all from the overall experience are updating the TVs to include streaming options and updating the meeting/conference room (which I didn’t use) Streaming on the room TVs is becoming more of an industry standard and it would make the Drury just that much nicer The conference room might get more use with nicer chairs, nicer tables, and a bigger TV (or projector) for presentations

Diane Highland

After several stellar visits at Drury Hotels, we were surprised to find a mediocre facility The room was clean and spacious, but obviously had not been updated in a decade or more Bed linens were clean but felt thin and threadbare

There was a decidedly sour laundry smell in the restroom area, although I checked and all the towels appeared fresh and clean The thermostat didn’t cool the room to a comfortable sleeping temperature until an hour before checkout time The staff were friendly and helpful, but the 5:00 Kickback and breakfast offerings were disappointing They seem to be cutting back significantly on quality and quantity of the food service, which has historically been a huge perk Not my worst hotel stay, but I have had far more impressive visits at other Drury hotels Hoping this facility is on the short list for renovations, as the location is excellent and proximate to many of our reasons for visiting Paducah Step it up, Drury!

luanne glynn

Great fast efficient service Didn’t get to try their breakfast as I had to leave before it began but did try the evening buffet one day It was excellent

Room was very roomy & clean Highly recommend! Back again – should get to try breakfast tomorrow – been traveling 2 months now for work & this is the absolute best hotel I have stayed in!

Not a bad spot I like the extra room The outdoor grill and fire pit area is adorable

Wish it was warmer to enjoyThe breakfast was horrible Sausages dry like hockey pucks Eggs so dry and rubbery like ping pong balls And workers either chatting about their evening job at a bar or smoking outside

James Compton

We stayed at many hotels over a two week period and this was the best one we stayed at The hotel was always clean, and the staff was always friendly We loved the workout facilty as well

The washers and dryers were also clean in the laundry room The breakfast food was great as well The room was well stocked, and the hotel room was showing it age, but it did not take away from our stay

Nik Rama

Whenever I come up to Paducah, I like staying at this hotelRecently my friends and I came here to stay here before exploring the beautiful nature as well as Civil War landmarks The hotel room is first of all massive with a full kitchen, a living room with a big sofa that has a pullout bed, and then a large bedroom

The hotel breakfast is also really good – they actually make warm food that is always solid every time I’ve had itOverall, it’s a great hotel to stay at if you’re in the area

My family and I don’t stay at hotels often due to having a large dog, but when we do we always choose a La Quinta Inn & Suites We had requested they book us a room on an upper floors away from an elevator and they made that accommodation no problem with only a few hours before we arrived The room was nice and clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly

What really made the stay pleasurable though was the breakfast in the morning They always have the best waffles and a great selection of cereals fruits and yogurts The man working at the breakfast bar was very helpful and friendly We were very impressed and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Jean Lankton

Just ok Clean The disability bar in the shower should have some sort of rough texture on a portion of the bar

A plain white slick bar on the wall is of no help in preventing falls There should be a vertical bar on the wall to assist in exiting the tub There was no rough texture on the tub as well Free breakfast was mediocre No USB ports in room The lobby area was well maintained

Mario Gomez

We went to La Quinta in Paduca, Kentuky Excellent choice for resting in a long road trip with our 2 dogs Neat room, spacious, with a desk, a seating area, refrigerator and great cold a/c

Breakfast has a decent variety of choices including make for own waffles Ice maker in each floor, gym, and also a great outside yard to take the dogs out Very clean

Tommy, Alle and Erika were the best ever They went out of their way to be friendly and always had a smile on their face Rooms were clean and quiet

I stayed only one night due to having surgery at Baptist health but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and affordable place to stay The pool and spa were in good shape and very clean The bed was a little harder to sleep on than we prefer but other than that I have already made arrangements to stay next week due another procedure at the hospitalWhen making reservations they went out of their way to get me on the bottom floor which was very important to my situation Anytime I stay in the area this will be my go to place I used to stay at the Drury suites and inn for business but after my stay at this hotel I am pleased to say you can’t go wrong with either

George Collins

I can’t remember if I stayed here or at the one across the street, either way my stay was awesome At that time, they were serving diner with drink tickets for beer and wine and the food was great The rooms were very clean, nice, well stocked with the usual items such as soap, shampoo, etc

Great staff and One of the better hotels that I’ve stayed at Be sure to visit the quilt museum

I was heading back to Alabama after driving for 10 hours I stopped at the Best WesternThe location was perfect it was it was right off the interstate I didn’t have a reservation, but the guy told me I could take a room upstairs or a king on the main floor

I chose the kingIt has been recently renovated and everything about the room and shower was perfect It had a good size refrigerator and microwave The heater worked very good, the bed was comfortable, cable TV worked, and the shower had plenty of hot waterBreakfast in the morning was biscuits and gravy, which I’m not a fan of But there was enough selection of other items to fill me up I will definitely stay here again

Lauri Rottmayer

This was a great hotel to stop in overnight The people who run it are very nice We had a small hiccup in our room that was taken care of while we ran out for water

Since it is about 1,000,000° outside it was nice to know that the air conditioner worked really well I am totally in love with the hallway carpet It is fabulous! I want it in my home😃😃😃The hotel is conveniently located and we would definitely stay here again

Ken Norman

It’s a room when no other is available The breakfast was the only good thing that kept this from a 1 star Rooms are musky smelling

There were a couple minor things not worth mentioning so I gave this hotel 5 stars The staff members were friendly I was told this property was renovated and very nicely if I may add

There is a pond with a fountain in it, benches and a spacious outside area if you are traveling with kids It was the only hotel in town that I was able to use my discount at and being an housekeeping manager from a totally different state, I must say I enjoyed my stay!

Stan B

At the check in the staff was awesome in both greeting and giving local information Felt very much welcomed and not rushed The lobby is very nice and the bar and bartender was good conversation and informative on local restaurants

The room was clean and comfortable and all the community areas of the hotel were well maintained There are still several power companies here helping the area recover from the tornadoes in December of 21 Overall great place to stay that is in a convenient location

Wow! I am super impressed with this adorable boutique hotel Not only is the staff incredibly friendly and everything impeccably clean, but the MOST comfortable bed I have slept in while traveling

and I just left a 900 dollar per night resort in Scottsdale! Seriously, best bed I’ve slept in and I really travel A LOT! I’m in the king room upstairs for reference Also, the bathtub is incredible I’m really happy with my stay and can’t wait to get back into those super soft sheets and cozy bed!

Great hotel in an historic building in downtown Paducah The staff is simply lovely and welcoming to all sorts, the rooms were clean, the venue in back was very pretty, and the location is just fantastic Our only complaint was that the lighting in the multiple rooms my family stayed in was not really sufficient so it could be super dark in them at times – this is easily fixable with some more lamps though

Would definitely stay there again!

Sherina Hill

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel 1857 We rented several guest rooms as well as the event center for a shower on Saturday The hotel is beautiful

We arrived late The property felt safe and the desk attendant was polite A quick check in and we were on our way to a peaceful sleep

Breakfast was hot and tasty with pancakes and a sweet staff member serving up some southern hospitality along with breakfastAll spaces we’re clean The room, the lobby, the breakfast areaspotless Would recommend

The rooms were clean and comfortable, for the most part the hotel was really quiet (we had a room that was above the pool so when someone was in there it was a bit loud, but that’s okay with us since we have kids that can be loud too) Breakfast was warm and fresh and the attendant was very nice Water pressure and temperature was the best part – such a refreshing shower

Oh and bed time cookies are a nice touch 🤭We will definitely be back on our trips to and from family events

Kenneth Bates
