Disappointing as part of the Marriott chain From the photos we were expecting better It was decent for a two night stay and that’s it

Location was convenient Staff was very nice The rooms need a great deal of attention Renovations/updates of some sort The refrigerator was in the bathroom Room lighting was horrible The rooms are so dark because there is not enough lighting in the rooms They only do housekeeping for a 4 night minimum stay; housekeeping isn’t available at your request We did request fresh new linen and towels, never received it The rooms do not have microwaves, which wasn’t too surprising because most hotels don’t have microwaves BUT the kicker is that the hotel did not even have a microwave in the lobby for guest use Overall I will not stay here again

Lucretia Wendt

Recently stayed here I have to say for the price, I was disappointedThe pool was closed, the machine in laundry was out of order for laundry supplies and over all the just a mediocre stay

With kids, I had planned to use the pool to help keep them entertained during our stay so this was a major let down Had we known at booking, I would have chosen a different hotel in the areaI will say the staff at the front desk were wonderful Very friendly and helpful Our first room we were given smelled horrible Like someone smoked and never cracked a window and it saturated the room for a week The staff were quick to get us a new room and the new one was clean and smelled goodThe layout of our room was weird The fridge was under the bathroom sink that was open to the room while the toilet & shower had a weird pocket door that struggled to stay closedPrevious to our stay, I read that parking was $30 I can confirm that if you can not find parking on the side of the building and need to park on the back lot, it is at a cost of $32 per day The credit card machine is currently out of order so you will need to have cash or use the ATM in the lobbyOverall, I would not stay here again

Angela Wallace

Please don’t believe the bad reviews! My grandson and I stayed there for 3 nights and we enjoyed every moment! The pool is currently being updated to be able to accommodate handicap accessible, I think that’s wonderful and very important This place is amazing, the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful My room was amazing, I truly enjoyed my view at night watching the city lights and early morning watching the sun ☀️ rising

The Bartender was amazing, they had a nice choices of beverages! I loved the location and you can walk to the park or near by restaurants For many years I would only stay at The Westin downtown, but the location has become very busy and noisy If you are looking for a clean quiet location, Aloft Downtown Atlanta is the place to stay! I’m planning my next weekend get away there soon!

Edit- the manager responded to my review but missed key details It was not that there was a parking fee The parking fee email we received days before we arrived was misleading

The price was incorrect and it did not say PER DAYThe smoke smell was not regular smoke It was weed The people at the pool were smoking weed I changed my stars because even though the manager responded, the actual issues were not addressed The fees were misleading and there was illegal activity on the propertyI believe this hotel could improve greatly with more communication, staff training, and security We received an email before arriving stating that we would have to pay for parking It just stated a cost It did not say per night and the cost was more at the hotel than what the email statedWhen we checked in, we were given no details on how and where to pick up our car When I called down the morning we were needing the car, I was transferred to valet and no one answered It took a good amount of time to figure out where to goWe went to the pool one day and there was a small group there They guys were not swimming They were smoking weed in front of a no smoking sign This happened for at least 45 minutes There was no security presentAll in all we loved our stay There needs to be some improvements to make it better for all Especially for the price you pay

Linda Sherman

Overall, this was a decent hotel The rooms were clean There were a lot of amenities throughout the Atlanta Marriott Marquis

I especially liked the fact that we could walk to food courts without going outside The pool was quite nice – just always crowded I also liked how they had different elevators for different floors – that decreased waiting times Another plus was the many seating/lounging areas on the 3 lower levels The employees that I encountered were very accommodating

annmarie nagelin

The hotel itself is nice The people I encountered were pleasant and helpful The room however was very minimalist in design Unfortunately this means there is very little storage for clothing

There was one small drawer The room was somewhat dark There was a lamp on top of a closet The rug was a little dirty I made myself a coffee in the morning and all the creamers were solid

Just another hotel taking advantage of covid to cut back on amenities and service You have to argue with the front desk to get your room cleaned or towels replaced Even after that, good luck getting housekeeping to show up

In my case, they lied and claimed my do not disturb sign was posted From my room, the elevators were very loud – to the point that it seemed like I was sleeping next to the interstate during peak hours On top of this, there was no hot water or heat for 2 days during my stay Did they offer a refund or new accommodations for this massive inconvenience? Yeah, no You’re better off pitching a tent in Olympic park and showering in the fountain This Westin is a joke yet still charges $250 per night Recommend staying somewhere else Breakfast was consistently good in the cafe Good views from the sundial restaurant

So, to begin with I was checked into a room that hadn’t been cleaned There was trash in the trash cans, the table tops had some kind of dried sticky substance on them, there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor and the bed looked like someone had just taken a nap I tried to reason that maybe they’d turned the covers down for visitors to get into bed easier

NO, this wasn’t that This was a dented pillow where someone had been laying and a bed that someone had hopped out of really quickly They did get me checked into another room within 30 minutes However, I’d made my reservation weeks in advance It shouldn’t have been that hard to check me into a clean room Then there was way too much noise in the halls all evening and valet took forever The view of the city was amazing However, the entire experience for the price was just horrible Completely ghetto hotel, I’ll never stay there again, and if you can avoid it don’t stay here

Jinnafer Shumate

The hotel itself it’s beautiful with breath taking views , the management was accommodating as well We arrived at 6 pm and stood in line to check in to our room until 7:05 to be told that the deluxe room we booked was no longer available but we would get a king bed room and a $100 hotel credit We were finally able to get our deluxe room as well as the credit

We enjoyed our stay until it was time to get our car from valet , we waited 45 minutes and finally asked where our car was and they said they called our name but most certainly did not What is the point of paying 50 dollars for valet if it’s not going to be convenient when we could’ve parked across the street for 7 bucks Overall experience was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the prices you pay Also we chose to use some of our credit at the bar and waited another 35 minutes for 3 cocktails

Great great experience overall! We loved the concept of the Hotel Found it very innovative and had a very pleasant stay Room was nice and clean, and lobby smelled amazing

The employees were the absolute best! I would go back just to see them again! How nice and polite they ALL were They definitely set my new standard when it comes to customer service I’m blown away

kateia gray

Enjoyed my stay at Reverb Staff was accommodating and extremely helpful at check-in It’s self check-in and pretty much a smart facility

I enjoyed that you needed a keycard to access the elevator to get to living accommodations The top floor has a rooftop lounge which was nice The location was great Nice skyline of Atlanta and a direct view of the Mercedes Benz Stadium I did not like the $43 for overnight valet parking Self-parking was $33 but the facility only had 10 spots for self-parking

Pam Hayes

I cannot express how delighted and grateful I was to find not only a Bible in our room, but also a booklet by Rick Warren and a booklet on the book of John In this evolving culture where Christian values are increasingly disparaged , it was wonderful to see a hotel, especially one associated with Hard Rock, take a stand for God There was a time when every hotel room had a Gideon Bible

Now it is uncommon to find one I am impressed, Reverb! I applaud your stand ! As to the facility,… beautiful, clean , modern The linen is divine, the soaps and shampoos heavenly, the water hot and great pressure, towels nice and thick and fluffy The staff… Donnie checked me in So very friendly, polite , efficient, asked if there was anything at all he could do for us just let him know He is a credit to Reverb and makes a VERY positive first impression for this hotel There was a young lady, I didn’t not catch her name, who was working with Donnie As I walked out she said “ have a good evening Mrs Hayes” I wasn’t dealing directly with her so I was very impressed that she was engaged , caught my name , and gave me a personalized farewell Very polite, smiling young lady Both she and Donnie enjoyed their jobs They gave endorsement to the saying “ if you love your job, you will never go to work a day in your life”!😊

TL;DR: HIGHLY recommend for large group events in Decatur!ACCOMMODATIONS & SERVICEThis hotel and staff were EXCELLENT Comfortable and stylish rooms, and staff were very helpful to address any questions or needs We were there for my sister’s wedding and they accommodated the whole family

It has such a comfortable feel with gathering spaces for everyone, large parties or small groups Some rooms have windows overlooking the central community area which I liked, but if that’s not your thing and you want more quiet you may want to request an externally facing room The pool and the gym were also quite nice, and the cafe serves Starbucks beverages which was a nice morning treatPARKING & LOCATIONThere’s ample parking also It’s super close to lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do which was really nice for everyone who was in town We stayed busy and no one had to drive anywhere Also really close to MARTA

Keki B

The accommodations were nice and clean You can tell they take cleanliness very seriously, which is greatly appreciated The room itself was decent

Sort of modern, however, the bed was firm and comfy I did love the hardwood floors That was a very nice touch Overall, I enjoyed my overnight stay The $10 parking though, I didn’t love Haha

Tyler Schimmel

Our van broke down on the highway so we had to book a room quickly for the night The customer service was great! When we arrived we were greeted with water and a quick room upgrade I do not remember the mans name, but he was very accommodating

Their service to our room was fast when we asked for anything extra and our room was very clean Although we did not plan on staying here, I would highly recommend it I

Very nice hotel Staff was kind and helpful My room was very clean and the balcony was beautiful at night

I do wish there was seating on the balcony as if was nice to end the night our there before turning into bed There is a cute bakery across the street with amazing breakfast and lunch choices The hotel is attached to 2 other hotels which makes it nice for dinner/restaurant options There is also a food court connecting the hotels which is open 6am to 6pm on most days CVS was just a 2 min walk from the hotel if you forgot anything Will definitely stay here again!

Wasn’t the WORST If you’re staying one night and don’t need top notch, it’s decent The main issue was the overall cleanliness of the room

There was a lot of ( extremely noticable) dust on the lamps and whatnot The balcony door wasn’t sealed and allowed the floor inside the room to get soaking wet when/after raining Don’t look under the bed! Just don’t!Beds were comfortable and service was OK Great location to the airport, 5 minutes from car rentals Balcony had a pretty cool view of the airplanes landing I was able to hear the sounds of the airplanes, but it wasn’t enough to keep me awakeIf the cleanliness was up the par, this place could have been much better

Yalande Jeffries

I was told prior before travelling, the shuttle would pick up from the airport just called the receptionist said I arrived, then called, and I was informed that the shuttle was unavailable it was 1pm and I had wait two hours I decided to take a paid vehicle instead! I also asked could check in early and when I spoke to them on phone prior no problem

Course when I arrived I was informed that the room was not ready And actually the room wasn’t ready until 4pm mind you check in at 3pm Now they waived $100 fee that was not mentioned anywhere on the website and I had no idea about The pool was unavailable why advertise?! I paid extra for balcony which I had no access to why was room more expensive Mind you the managers never spoke to me for the shuttle or my room delay I would not be recommended this hotel to anyone nor will I be returning I have stayed at five or six Best Westerns; this is a franchise and they give Best Western a bad name, an embarrassment!

Nicholas McElveen

Hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the ATL airport The free, hot breakfast was great You can smell it from the front desk! If you miss your shuttle, Uber will cost about $16

00 to the airport I took one at 6:45amRoom was clean Good amount of space! No funny smells The electrical sockets are loose on the night stand lamp, so make sure your charger stays plugged inThe front desk will give you 2 bottles of water, for free, if you ask

Check-in on 5/20 at approx 12:30am was awesome Ariel was very courteous, friendly, helpful and informative Had a little issue with my U-haul move and her advice and help saved me a lot of head ache

The 418 sq-ft room is a little small for a family of 4 but it was clean and organized We got a high floor and a great view as requestedThe complimentary breakfast was great and the ladies we very friendly and welcoming Hope its not like another hotel I stayed at that only had the same breakfast every morningParking is a little expensive $32 a day As a guest it sucks but as a business man it makes financial senseHere for an extended stay, will either update this if possible or create a new one as time goes onLocated about 15 miles from the airport

What a fun hotel! I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed myself The check-in is at the bar, where you receive a token for a free drink and moves quickly The room I was in was small but nice with a great view

We played games in the lobby on Friday and there was a DJ We also went to the High Note which is the bar next to the pool and would’ve gone back but it stormed the second night we were there The gym is pretty nice for a hotel as well Like others may have mentioned there was no iron in the room but there is a steamer in the room but also a public ironing room There is also no refrigerator which wasn’t a big deal for me but could be for others There is a microwave downstairsI’d definitely book again

Joy Elizabeth

Only stayed one night, but will definitely be back The atmosphere at Moxy is so cute and eclectic I felt like my room was a NYC apartment

Very modern and chic A great bar area in the lobby with plenty of comfortable seating, and lots of games Very clean, smelled good, room had great lighting options including a motion light under the bed that was great for middle of the night bathroom trips in the dark Great privacy options on the door including two locks and a view hole to see into the hall that has a cover when not needed Last but not least, the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever laid on

Christina Simmons

I took my daughter in law for her 21st bday to this hotel on a Saturday Staff were friendly and fun!! Everyone helped us and made sure we were taken care of We stayed the night and the room was comfy

We took a cooler for drinks while in room no refrigerator We danced all night till the DJ left and had a few friends come to have drinks Great party atmosphere Enjoyed it !!

Our stay was excellent from the time we checked in to the time we checked out We utilized online check in which allowed me to select a room on the higher floors where we felt we wouldn’t disturb other guests as we do have small children Being able to view the floor layout on the app is definite perk when traveling with small people

When we arrived at the hotel the front staff was friendly and helpful We were able to find parking within the gated garage no problem We found our room and were able to get squared away for the night The room was clean and comfortable The bathroom was well lit and spacious The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and accommodated guests of all ages We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when in the Atlanta area

Excellent Hotel, Great Rooms, Great Staff! We took a flight from Arizona to attend a family members graduation from Emory University We were not familiar with the Atlanta area, and were thrilled to find this Hampton Inn based upon reviews on both Google and Trip Advisor When we arrived, the staff member we interfaced with was excellent

great customer interface and pleasant We parked in the parking garage next door, which was affordable, safe, and the next building to the hotel We asked for and received extra towels since we were in and out of the room over a three day periodOur room, which had one king bed, was spacious and nicely appointedWe interfaced with the General Manager, Jerry Roach, who was extremely friendly and who helped us to understand the variety of eating establishments around the immediate areaWe had a rental car and found it quite easy to arrive at the hotel from ATL the ride from the Airport was quick and not complicated at allOur ability to get to the Emory campus quickly was uncomplicated as well Fifteen minutes at most Starbucks is easily accessible by car; approximately 12 minutes away and not hard to findOverall, this experience was a 10/10 Congratulations Mr Roach and your staff for a top notch hotel experience

Dianne McNary

Front desk service was great Carey was always helpful Breakfast was okay

Pet friendly (75$ fee) and decently priced depending on how long + when you are staying and what amenities you want Room was very clean and staff was so nice and friendly Def recommend as we have enjoyed our stay

Relatively sparse food options (and most options only available for a few hours in the morning and evening) that are a little expensive but good if u need a quick and convenient snack There is a microwave in the lobby for guest useThey only do house keeping on request which is helpful especially when traveling with a petVery nice, friendly, and clean hotel Good price for our stay especially compared to some of the hotels nearby Our cat enjoyed his stay too 🙂

Laurie Johnson

I really enjoyed the night I stayed at this hotel! I brought my teenage daughter to Atlanta for a concert She stayed at my 21 year old son’s house with his roommates and I booked a room at the Sonesta I had a king size bed on the 7th floor

Everything was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable I used the elliptical machine in the workout room (in all honesty, the workout room needed a little attention as far as restocking sanitizing wipes and towels, but was still an enjoyable experience)I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again the next time I visit my son Great location for GA Tech parents!

Josh Sexton

I am currently staying here through my football team for fall camp In the first 2 nights I have had to switch rooms 3 times, double booking me the first time with the guests walking in on me in their room My final room was completely unclean from the previous guests

Front desk staff has been super nice and helpful in trying to resolve my issues but I cannot give anything higher than a single star after changing my own sheets from the previous guests, throwing away their trash, cleaning up the bathroom, and replacing my own towels I am lucky enough to have the football team pay for my expenses during my time here but I feel as though I should be getting paid by the hotel for doing everything staff the staff at most hotels usually do…

Recently stayed here and honestly would not book againPros- Location was decent with good food and entertainment options nearby- Room was large, decently appointed, and seemed surface clean

– Beds were comfortable with luxury linens and very nice pillows- Valet and services staff were kind and very helpfulCons- We were quoted $30 per night for parking by a booking agent over the phone before we booked our stay When we went to check out we were charge $50 per night and the front desk staff refused to honor the quoted price we had been given over the phone We even had the name of the person we spoke with, as well as time/date of our call and their calls are recorded so they should have been able to confirm the validity of our claim- There was obviously water damage to the entire floor our room was on There was a slight musty smell to our room and throughout the entire hotel- The room was advertised with 2 queen sized beds but they were actually full sized beds- The rooftop pool had dead cockroaches all around it- It was difficult to regulate the room temperature, it was either hot and muggy or freezing cold- There was very little water pressure in the shower and no ledge or raised seat- We had Issues with the toilet clogging for no reason- One of the windows was also missing a set of blinds

The hotel was super clean Was in a walkable part of town The staff was great

The elevators had to be managed by staff Roof top pool was closed We were not made aware of the pool closure before arrival They did not make arrangements for an alternative pool The kitchen is listed as a full kitchen how ever the microwave did not workThere was an extra fee for dishes

The front desk help was excellent and very professional and courteous We had a 2 bedroom suite – which was very big Included full kitchen and washer and dryer

The part that needs improving is the housekeeping There were several containers of leftovers in the mini refrigerator when we arrived We called Housekeeping and there were quick to come to clean it out And then in the morning, I was making sure I didn’t leave anything before Thats when I found a pair of pink girls pansies in the top drawer to the nightstand I notified the front desk as we checked out and they seemed very concerned and apologetic And lastly, we paid for 4 guests but I could only find 2 bath towels Housekeeping needs more training But other than that, great location and lovely hotel

This was a very interesting experience – but in a good way I booked a room after not really reading much about the location itself It’s not a hotel, it’s a bed and breakfast which surprised me

There aren’t many rooms but we didn’t have any issues with parking or getting checked in The building itself is old but very clearly maintained and cleaned I booked a room with the jacuzzi tub in the room The tub is barely large enough for two people of medium size More than enough room for one person The customer service was also excellent When I mentioned a pork allergy during breakfast, we received a chicken patty instead of sausage The rest of the breakfast was really good too The location can’t be beat either, so close to Stone Mountain Definitely would go back

Beautiful property with an excellent host The rooms are luxurious and impeccably clean The host, Christian, is warm and welcoming, and very helpful with recommendations

The shower is great, breakfast was delicious We would certainly recommend One of the nicest B & B’s we’ve ever experienced Big plus is a great German restaurant in walking distance

This Bed and Breakfast was delightful! Large rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, homey, and amazing customer service! Cristian and Adam were kind and caring hosts! From precheck-in to check- out they went above and beyond! The location is great with plenty of great places to eat within walking distance! Loved this stay and if we are in the area again we will definitely be staying again!

So glad we picked this place The place is clean and all of the staff we encountered were some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve met The place was super clean and spacious

We went swimming and watched all the planes come in which was cool The fire table wouldn’t turn on but it was still nice to sit out there They have a fitness area and laundry room where you pay to do your own stuff Wish I would have known and brought detergent to do our clothes before going home 😅 The breakfast was good (bagels, pastries, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, bacon, sausage links, cheese omelets, juice, coffee, and a pancake machine which wasn’t working) Another review said it wasn’t in a great area but it’s off the road so there’s not people just walking around It’s quiet and I always felt safe 🤷‍♀️They have dove toiletries and angel soft paper products I really hate the hotel shampoos and stuff so seeing dove was a nice surprise! The bed was clean and super comfortable! The ac worked great The room had a pretty large mini fridge, microwave, and keurig machine It also had a chaise by the window (we had a beautiful view of some trees so no one to watch us through the window) This would be a great place to pick for a work trip! The bath towels are SO soft and the water pressure is amazing!!You can’t go wrong picking this place!

Wonderful hotel! I was incredibly impressed that they had the zip-up mattress covers on the beds Room was big enough to fit a twin-sized air mattress “Queen” beds appeared more like fulls

I was disappointed that they did not have hot water available all day, and the Keurig in the room wasn’t able to provide me hot water that did not contain coffee grounds But other than that non-necessity, what an incredible stay!

Great Hotel The rooms were really nice and clean The lobby was and common areas were super nice! The elevators were awesome

People who are complaining that they take too long are impatient and don’t know what they’re talking about I stayed at 3 hotels in downtown Atlanta (all were super busy) and this one had the best elevator service When these hotels get so busy, there is nothing they can do to speed up the elevators and also nothing wrong with the elevators if they take a while It is very typical for these downtown hotels to have really busy elevators sometimes This hotel should NOT modernize their elevators because they work fine and modernizing would take a whole elevator out of service for months which is super inconvenient I’ve seen hotels try upgrading the elevators and it makes the problems WAY worse, if they tried that here it would be a disaster All the bad reviews about the elevators are coming from people who know nothing about elevators and have no clue what they’re saying Plus modernizing is a waste of money I wish they still had a pool but this is still a great hotel and I would recommend staying here

The staff was very friendly and approachable and our room was very clean The shower was slow to drain, but it was manageable and we were only there for 2 nights There should have been clearer communication regarding parking and adding parking to your reservation

We were able to do it at the front desk, but would have preferred to have known about the $35/day parking charge ahead of time, especially so we could have added it on to the room reservation at the beginning and saved time waiting in line for the front desk before going to dinner

The restaurants at this hotel are way OVERPRICED!!! The room doesn’t have a microwave What are guests supposed to do when he/she wants to heat up a meal or drink? No housekeeper come by to check if fresh towels are needed If you are staying for a couple of days; surely, he/she will not be using the same towels over and over again

The parking should be not be charged extra for the PRICE of a room per night!!!! That is so absurd Plus the structure of the parking area could have been better The elevator to the parking area had an out of order sign making it difficult to get to your vehicle I had to find the stairs along with some other guests that tried to find his/her vehicle That was so frustrating For the PRICE of this hotel, this could have been better

I had a really good time at this hotel It was so clean, elegant, and peaceful I felt completely safe

The shower, bed, and pillows were amazing The room was so comfortable It was as if my soul was being gently rocked like a baby The grey color scheme in the hallway created a cozy soothing atmosphere I think this is where I am going to stay every time I come to Atlanta This is the first hotel I’ve been to since May 2020 What a great experience for easing me back into travelling with a sense of normalcy since the pandemic Walter & Vincent were the most pleasant and attentive front desk personnel I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering The valet staff was so friendlyI didn’t even mind that they had to readjust my seat!😆 Sorry, not too many photos I was too busy soaking in the awesomeness of the experience

I had such a wonderful stay at the downtown Hotel Indigo Consider this a 5-star hotel The entire place is incredibly clean, the rooms and bathroom lighting are as good as it gets, and the bed was extremely comfortable

To top it off, all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay painless Sweet Thomas from the front desk even gave me a piece of pizza while I was waiting for my ride Incredible experience here and will definitely be back!
