Stayed in the cabin for a mid-winter retreat This place was super charming and a great way to get away for a few days of playing guitar and enjoying the restored woodlands overlooking the Mississippi River Plenty of firewood was provided and the inkeeper was very friendly

Only quibble is that the instructions for arrival was unclear and we had to track down an employee to figure out how to gain access to the cabin when we first arrived Once that was figured out, we had a very enjoyable stay and plan to return again

The Marvin Gardens cabin is very clean and cozy, easy to find and great, responsive staff Trails start right out the front door Well stocked, we got the picnic basket with chicken salad sandwiches, very good

There’s a Casey’s down the road if you need supplies Surprisingly good TV and wifi, easy to stream movies Kids had a blast Big wood fireplace, smells a bit like wood smoke of course but not a problem unless you are super sensitive There are accurate pictures on the website

Two of us stayed in the cabin for a one night, midweek getaway It was very clean and comfortable, it was great to have a wood fireplace on a snowy eve Loved walking the trail and reading the signs about the beautiful property

We did not have the breakfast but enjoyed talking to Marie about the property; she clearly enjoys her job Would definitely recommend it, and wish them success in the future

I absolutely love coming here! Centrally located on main street between campus and downtown; it’s the perfect spot The general manager, Julie, is fantastic and always so welcoming each time I visit The rooms are great and the complimentary breakfast is pretty good as well

Overall, I definitely recommend coming here The little bit extra in cost is worth it

Stayed at this hotel along with some family this past weekend, and had a bit of a mixed experience while there The hotel itself was very nice, but the staff member we spoke with just seemed a bit disinterested in talking with us when we had questions in the afternoon after arriving We were going to ask for some suggestions for dinner, but we ended up just googling places instead

Breakfast was good though, and it was well stocked in the morning We did have some good staff interaction though as Cindy was a treat to talk with while we were eating on the last day of our stay She was a very fun and energetic person to talk to, and we appreciated that For the most part this was a good hotel We just would have appreciated a bit more hospitality from a hospitality establishment, especially for the higher price we paid on the weekend

Hotel overall was very good I felt like the staff went above and beyond to help us My family and I who stayed here had a lot of luggage, and unfortunately all that was left were upstairs rooms

This hotel does not have an elevator, but Zach at the front desk offered to help us carry any bags we needed assistance with up the stairs He was very helpful, and we appreciated it The morning woman we spoke with was also very polite and friendly to talk with around when we checked out, but unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name The room we stayed in was a double queen, and we thought it was very clean and comfortable It was also nice having a microwave and mini fridge in the room If we are ever traveling through Platteville another time, we would more than likely stay here again

Stayed at this hotel over graduation weekend while visiting a friend of mine graduating from UW-Platteville The hotel itself was very nice Seemed very clean and modern for being in a small town like Platteville

One of the only downsides is that they don’t have an elevator The staff there were very friendly and helpful I had a nice talk with Zach who works the night shift He recommended some good bars, and my friend and I had an awesome time out on the town that night Breakfast in the morning was pretty decent About average for a hotel like this, but not bad by any means They had biscuits and gravy along with waffles for hot food, as well as various other items like Poptarts for take and go items If I have need of a trip back to Platteville in the future, I will definitely be staying here again

This hotel was fantastic! The rooms, lobby and pool area were super clean It even smelled clean inside! Not a hint of stale cigarette smellThe breakfast was cold but not bad for the price

The only complaint is that it is in the middle of nowhere It is right off the highway so convenient if you’re traveling, but not close to any restaurants etcOverall we had a great experience here

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a hotel Booked 2 rooms and outside of my control needed to cancel the stay due to unforeseen circumstances I reached out through the booking websites to cancel and understand if I would be able to get my money back since this stay needed me to pay up front

The response I heard was that they never received word back from the hotel for the request Was told that I needed to reach out directly to the hotel I did, both in an email and a phone call Was told when I called that the manager was not in and I would receive a response at least by the next day The phone call or email never came I will never stay not only at this Quality Inn & Suites or any Quality Inn & Suites ever again To not even get a response and just forfeit an entire 2 night, 2 room stay without even having an acknowledgement or conversation is unacceptable by any standard Worst experience in my lifetime
