Great customer service! Very happy with our stay and how they accommodated our group The breakfast was great and Betty kept everything filled, clean and ready to go! She was always asking what else we needed Additionally, the front desk staff that checked us in and was around during our stay was very helpful and kind! Hands down, great place!

Christina Roketa

The people here (Employee’s) are awesome! Really friendly and always professional with and about everything They make you feel comfortable and give that at home feeling And always have fresh soft homemade cookies in the lobby that you can help yourself too! Along with fresh fruit like apples, oranges, banana’s etc

Rooms are always clean and spacious! Love it!

Front desk was nice when checking in Hotel is nice and clean overall However… this hotel over REGULATES your THERMOSTAT in each room with motion sensor thermostats

They may also have a upper and lower limit that may not satisfy your needs I currently have the stat set at 65 and the thermometer I have with me in my luggage shows it to be 74 when the AC unit kicks off I can only sleep with it being cold in my room It is 3am and I am currently tossing and turning in my bed feeling miserable and unable to get comfortable after waking up in sweat Unless you sleep walk around in circles in your room the unit will not stay on!!

One of the best stays I’ve had in recent memory This place is amazing and a great destination for traveling families, truly an oasis to relax after a long day on the road for business or pleasureThere’s something for everyone here

Plenty of entertainment for the kids, well maintained pool, hot tub, exercise centerOn site cafe, clean lobby Rooms were clean, updated, quietBeds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows in both the soft and firm variety to suit your preferences for a solid nights restStaff behind the counter were exceptionally helpful, easy going, and polite both on check in and check outHuge shout out to Josh R behind the counter on my late check in, absolute legend and truly an asset to the Holiday Inn team Found me a great rate and options, knowledgeable about the area, and easy to talk to Saved me from a long night of hotel huntingDefinitely coming back here when I need a place to stay

Well where should I start In 2018 the first time I stayed here very dated rooms but large rooms by the pool Keep in mind my reservation was for two days

The first night was a very nice room again a little bit dated but nothing wrong with it Came back later that night to go to our room and unwind they checked us out of our room and moved us into a different room because the reservation was for two different rooms two different nights apparently General manager was very sorry and comped me points for my stay nothing I can honestly complain about that except for cleaning ladies grabbing our luggage and things and moving them to a different roomFast forward to present day we are staying here now 02 – 12– 22 and again very nice updated rooms Customer service sucks here at the hotel front desk people were rude or overwhelmed with the amount of people trying to check in at 3 o’clock I understand the Hotel is busy today but the front desk and even maintenance people had no idea what to do with all these people here On top of it for such a large hotel they only had four luggage cards for people to use Requested a poolside room was bumped to the third-floor I was told by the front desk that this is a poolside room Will definitely be talking to the general manager about it Every time I’ve used reward nights here at this hotel they seem like they don’t care about people that patronize the IHG® brand Will definitely think twice about staying here in the future

I arrived after midnight I had called ahead to advise I would be arriving late (I had a reservation for several days) When I arrived, the security car was completely blocking the main entrance

2 security people were smoking just outside the front doors with the desk person I had to walk through the grass and squeeze between a trashcan and a post while carrying my luggage to get through The desk attendant shouted at me, “do you have a reservation?“ When I told him I did, he sighed and put out a cigarette and followed me to the door I had to hold the door open for him, despite the fact I was carrying all of my luggageRoom was comfy and clean However, there was NO water pressure The water trickled out of the shower head I asked about it at the front desk and he said he would have it checked No one did Other people in my travel party (4 rooms) also complained about the lack of water pressure There was construction going on with loud machinery outside my room at 6:30 am There is a large courtyard, arcade, etc There were loud groups with shouting and music after midnight, and security (although notified) did not manage to quiet or downI had to ask for more towels and wash rags (I was there for 5 days) They first said they couldn’t supply any, then later when I asked again I get a fewBreakfast costs $15!Disappointing service

This hotel deserves 5 stars for sure I stayed there for 2 months The front desk staff were always friendly , and ready to greet you as you walked in

Daily they could be found cleaning , sanitizing the lobby to make sure it was always clean They also had the breakfast bar every morning stocked up with fresh food, fruits, juices, and so much more The front desk clerk Maggie was very helpful always , and the lady with the awesome custom curls was always helpful as well They were always professional about their business and making sure we felt at ease The housekeeping was also a great bunch Anytime I had a question they helped me to get it solved immediately The whole staff was a great bunch and I was sad when I got reassigned Great job at making the people who are far from home feel better

Angela Peterson

It was very much over priced for how dirty it was The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because there was 2 ladies that I had seen during my stay One was actually working

She wasn’t entirely friendly but she wasn’t rude by any means either She didn’t seem to care for her job She didn’t smile It was the same with the overnight girl too My room was nasty There was hair in my fridge and my sister’s fridge in a different room The room was not vacuum very well The bedding had hair in it and other STUFF The shower was NOT clean nor was there any type of water pressure The bathroom was pretty gross in general I’m wondering if my room was cleaned before I checked in and after the last person left or if they just made the bed quick and put new towels and changed the garbage I will NOT ever go there again I never seen the hallways cleaned and heard a dog next door barking all night long It was probably my worst stay in a hotel ever So the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because if the 2 front desk ladies who clearly didn’t like their jobs but still performed them even though it was without a smile I think they are lacking house keeping all together The windows to the building had not been cleaned for at least a year to This hotel needs some work done It really doesn’t deserve 2 stars

DON’T STAY HEREI made a reservation and called to confirm it, also to check if they had any king rooms available I called at 9AM and got no answer! So I continued to call for another few hours and still no answer

finally got someone to pick up and she asked if I could hold As I was waiting I could here the receptionist talking to a customer that was there I heard the conversation end and continued to wait After 10 minutes of waiting I said screw it hung up and tried calling backagain no answer I continued to call throughout the rest of the day and never got anybody to answer So we took our business elsewhere I won’t give my business to a hotel that doesn’t have the decency to answer a phone I will never attempt to make a reservation here again!

Great experience! My daughter and I went to a friend’ s Birthday party here and everybody had a blast! We stayed up really late and barely made it to the continental breakfast in time Kitchen staff was so accommodating, making sure all the girls got to make a waffle They also restocked the fixings for us,when they could have just closed the door

Thank you for the hospitality! Definitely coming here again Highly recommend!

Stayed 24 March 2022 and out of all the Hilton properties that’s we have stayed at, this, without question has been the worst! Room was disgustingly filthy, outdated and room amenities were sparse and/or not re-filled If we wouldn’t have arrived so late (around midnight), we would have left and found another place to stay Would not recommend and will definitely never stay at this hotel again!

Julie Norton

Upon arrival NO toilet paper or kleenex in roomThroughout the stay tv reception sucked!! Sofa was horrible! Ice machine on 2nd floor was not operating

Breakfast was less than desirable although the staff was pleasant Overall experience was VERY disappointing and did not come close to what one would expect from a Hilton hotel We wanted the “suite experience” of a comfortable leisurely stay and for the price is was less than “sweet” We left a day early

The room I was suppose to stay in was DISGUSTING Sheets were clearly not changed from the last time someone stayed Everything from the microwave to the toilet was filthy

The fire alarm was hanging off the wall tied in a plastic bag The picture hanging next to that had broken glass I went to use a side door to get into the hotel when guests that were in the parking lot told me that I should use the lobby entrance because it can get dangerous and “sketchy” using that entrance at night As a woman who was staying alone that night, I immediately decided to return my key and not stay there Never had an experience like that in my life

Kim Rose

Me and my wife stayed here for a travel assignment until our apartment was ready The room we stayed in was clean considering where we were (I’d recommend wear shoes in the room at all times, carpet feels gross barefooted) The hallways smell like cigarettes most time, the towels and rags (which we never used) were sometimes torn and had stains

No coffee or any amenities that were in working order There’s never a dull moment here with all the drama from the crackheads and God bless if you can get sleep after 11p some nights when they decide to come out , not to mention cops are often there because of this Some of the staff were nice and well mannered like Hilary & Verona Kelly the manager tries to be nice, but it’s beyond her, she’s loud and obnoxious, not to mention rude While staying here, she snapped at me twice and I witnessed her been rude to another customer while waiting by the front desk She has no customer service training and has no business being a manager!

Hello owner of this property I am sad to hear your system could not find a reservation with my surname from your system from last night for room 263 Perhaps you have deeper issues

Americas Best Value Inn at St Cloud provides a place to spend the night Of course, be careful getting in and out of bed, since the mattress is over 6 inches wider than the box spring Smokers will feel at home in the hallways, home to the stench of stale tobacco This hotel attracts the type of guests who think an appropriate place for a picnic, complete with a case of bottled beer, is sitting in a parking spot Clearly, the motel has received many coats of paint to keep the walls looking fresh, but the building still looks tired Some will appreciate how hot the tap water is, but take care for the little ones so they don’t get scalded

Location in the city was ideal But the site itself felt like a modified senior living center Room turnover service could have been much better

They missed fecal matter or vomit (not sure which) around the toilet itself Only two tissues left in the box, had to go all the way to front desk to pickup The beds were ok but honestly not that comfortable They call the site pet friendly, but you have to sign a huge agreement to stay with them If you have dogs, there is only one small place outside to take them and its on a large incline, which I could see owners literally breaking their backs in the winter should they fall Lastly their morning breakfast consists of stopping at the front desk to pickup your (complimentary) brown bag with water and granola bar Overall just wasn’t please with the stay As we’ve stayed in better for less If you need a safe and fairly clean place to stay last minute, this place works But I’d suggest planning ahead and book elsewhere for the price

Deb Courts-Brown

The room was comfortable, but the noise from the pool came in through the air conditioner The staff was amazing, especially at the banquet dinner we attended Very fast and friendly

Nice location with a beautiful river walk easily accessibleWe didn’t have any problems, but a number of vehicles in the parking lot were broken into while we were there Windows were not broken so the thieves apparently had an electronic device to override the locks Unfortunately there were no security cameras in that area

Stayed here because my work booked me a room here I would not have stayed here had I had the option not to Rooms are severely outdated, holes on bedsheets, curtains covered in stains, safe wasn’t functional, hair dryer wasn’t functional, room was cold even with heat cranked on

I had to lay all the towels on the bathroom floor because the tile was so cold in here Room was dirty, major food debris under the bed skirting and around edges of carpet Coffee maker was a Keurig, but it was covered in dust inside and out I would have used it had it not been so filthy Pillows were badly worn and lumpy, no comforter on the bed at all It was a thin blanket with sheets, and in MN in February that doesn’t cut it Vending machines ripped me off and wouldn’t work I then explained it to the overnight desk attendant and he was literally more concerned with what he was watching on TV and told me “that sucks” The woman working the counter during the day wasn’t so rude, but I didn’t bring it up in the morning either This place is cheap, and you get what you pay for Spend the extra $20 and get yourself something with some amenities

Wonderful staff Steven at the front desk was very helpful when I made my reservation Nice discount for hospital (VA) Room was super clean and very comfortable as was the whole facility

The ladies were very nice and helpful in the breakfast area I had my son’s service dog and they helped me with my coffee and plate In the dining area they have a table setup for the missing soldier Wish I could post a picture Beautiful done if your veteran stay here

Had all of our wedding guests book here because they provided a free shuttle However, a couple weeks before the event they cancelled the shuttle service claiming too few guests had booked with us After asking my guests it was determined that 20+ people were already booked

When I called back to see if we could still use a shuttle because clearly we had enough people they let me know that they had no one to drive The only reason I recommended this hotel for our Guests was for the shuttle service and now it’s way too close to the event date to change reservations to a hotel that does offer transportation, I do NOT recommend using this hotel if you’re planning a wedding or event

Our Family

We wanted a wonderful night out with our two children so this was a planned family overnight trip to enjoy the pool, swimming, hot tub and just some quality time Sadly upon checking into our room we saw stains on the outer blanket top on both beds, hair in the bathtub and the fridge still had items in it from whoever stayed in it previous to us which I thought was very strange It is like the housekeeper forgot to do multiple things on her checklist prior to our check in

We were supposed to get a room with two queen beds and instead we were given a room with two double beds it seemed We have queen beds at home and the beds we slept in were def not queen beds OR maybe hotel queen beds are smaller than traditional queen beds at home It was very strange that the beds were smaller The beds were very uncomfortable and all four of us woke up with aches and pains It really was not a comfortable relaxing overnight stay We wanted to use the pool and hot tub the next morning since checkout was to be at 11am but when we got ready and all went down to the pool the next morning there was caution tape surrounding the hot tub and we were told we could not use it That was def a huge bummer for all four of us because it was one of the main reasons that we got a hotel for a night out was to enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as possible If we would have known that the hot tub was going to be closed we would have probably rented a different hotel in St Cloud since that was so important to usThe good about the hotel is the location right off an I-94 exit so the ease of getting on and off the freeway was excellent The distance into the actual town of St Cloud was about a 10min drive to shops and into the center of town The hotel is located right across the street from the Pilot truck stop, McDonalds and Subway restaurant so it was very easy to grab a bite to eat before we checked in and after we checked out The morning breakfast at the hotel was absolutely spectacular They had a full buffet style breakfast Going from right to left on the counter was an amazing pancake machine, hot fresh cinnamon rolls, toast, muffins, fresh hot biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, veggie and egg omelette, sausage links, turkey sausage patties, juices, milks, cereal and yogurt

There is a $40 deposit held Housekeeping did combine pick up our bag outside of a room for trash This is located in downtown Saint cloud There are many establishments nearby for drinks and for food and right next to the convention center

Marriott, you can do better! It wasn’t terrible but I have higher expectations for a Marriott The biggest problem was very, very low lighting in the room and the bathroom If you’re reading this before booking 100% request a room that is on the West side of the building

You’ll thank me

benton taylor

The employees here are the only bright spot, and saved this courtyard from being a 1star Unfortunately, while we travel 60-70 nights a year, are BonVoy members, and almost exclusively stay in Marriott branded properties, this is the hands down ugliest, most disgusting, and disrepaired property we have seen to date, with the prices very overpriced for the quality While this is a franchised, not corporate owned property, it is hard to believe that Marriott has allowed their esteemed name to be tarnished with this property

Many items, including air conditioning, elevators, chairs and room furnishings, floor coverings, etc… broken or completely worn, beds sagging and no longer comfortable, and I had to go to the front desk and have my room rekeyed every time I came back to the room, because the electronic module would not retain memory We were charged for parking which we were never told about, and only had it show up on our checkout receipt, which is completely unsecured, a public lot, and otherwise free during non event hours, and non school months This hotel is Marriott in name and pricing only, and does not participate in any Marriott programs They are also a service requested hotel, and will not provide any in room cleaning service unless requested, and have done absolutely nothing to alert the public of such (there are no signs, no postings, and no in room placards to identify as such We were told of this, only after directly asking the front desk staff, after our room not being cleaned)

Check in/out were smooth We stayed for a week and didn’t know we needed to request turn over service in between which was a slight irritant They were always very friendly about providing fresh towels and bedding when requested

Our main complaints were humidity inside the room and slow internet With this being said we’d stay here againPluses were complimentary water bottles, individually wrapped chocolate chip cookies, and flexible jacuzzi hours 😉 On site laundry was affordable at $150 to wash and dry (75 each) Be prepared with your own quarters and laundry soaps as there is no vending or change machine

The 1st night of my 3 night stay the mattress was horrible and in very poor condition My wife and I kept rolling to the middle and I woke up to back pain An employee wanted to flip the mattress ( he kept saying that’s all he can do for me ) but eventually decided to replace it

The morning after the mattress problem Betty the breakfast lady was extremely extremely rude for absolutely no reason She displayed this rudeness from the moment I walked into the dining area At this point I thought I was being pranked So my stay wasn’t all that goodShawn Spencer

I am in the area looking at houses and decided to spend a little extra money for a “nicer” hotel Unfortunately, the hotel is under maintenance and very loud and dusty currently There’s paint and construction dust everywhere

The room was pretty large and the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft I woke up with a really bad headache and neck ache the first day and had to go buy another pillowI didn’t care for the policy where they don’t clean or check on rooms that are occupied I put my trash in the hall by the door and no one picked it up Had to bring it to the trash in the laundry room and use a shopping bag in the can I’m not the best at constantly going to the front desk and asking for stuffPoor wifi meant that I had to cut my stay short, since I was supposed to be working remote It was bad on both of our phones and my work computer We couldn’t even load a basic page on our phones The wifi was so bad, I had to change my cell plan in order to enable tethering at a higher data rate Very frustrating They need to invest in a quality mesh system and possibly a better internet planThere are no usb ports in the room Had to rely on the “just in case” plug I bring when I travelThings I liked:Breakfast optionsLaundry room pricesRoom comfortLocationDislikes:PillowsPolicy where they don’t even check on the condition of your roomCondition of hotelLack of usb in roomPoor wifi coverageShower water smells strongly
