What a unique (and frankly romantic) experience for myself and my boyfriend We wanted to make a pitstop in Boston on our way to Portland, Maine and thought this would be a fun location to stay We were not disappointed! The staff was super helpful and very polite

We loved our stay on the sailboat The room was nice and felt very cozy The marina itself is super quiet and has a beautiful view of the USS Constitution and harbor Stay here if you want a fun and unique lodging experience!

We spent four nights aboard the Port houseboat What a great place to stay! Melissa and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful This is a very small guest room but the addition of both the covered and uncovered decks make it seem much roomier

The double bed is super comfy and being on the water rocks you to sleep! This is a great location for visiting Boston as you can walk to many attractions The USS Constitution is just up the street and you can see the historic boat from the end of “your” dock Included with the stay are breakfast coupons for the bakery across the street and some other discounts for a few local restaurants Would absolutely stay there if we visit Boston in the future and would recommend Bed and Breakfast Afloat to anyone planning a holiday to Boston! Loved it!!

My wife and I spent three nights on the Rozinante When we first got inside the cabin, we noticed that the place was a bit shabby and didn’t feel clean, in fact it was down right dirty There was also a strong sewer smell, which kept coming and going throughout our stay that would wake you from your sleep

We reported this and staff did try to fix the problem, but the smell came back My wife was able to use the shower on our first day with no issues But when I tried to use it the following evening, the sump wasn’t working and the water wouldn’t drain properly So, we were told to use the clubhouse shower There was a black mildewy mold substance around the hot tub that wiped off when I touched it Improve cleaning protocol and make sure sump system works properly Not worth $300 per night We stayed here because we are in the market for a sailboat but was a disappointment Also, twice late at night when we were sleeping, someone would sneek on the boat, this was really weird We even put the cable up every night so this wouldn’t happen Lots of improvement needed

We stayed for 7 days and the vibes of the hotel was amazing! The housekeeping staff was some hard working ladies The front desk staff was just as amazing! The rooms was a little small but it worked since we didn’t spend to much time in there anyways The conspire in the lower level was my favorite spot to be in, if I wasn’t out on the town! If I am ever back in the area Revolution will be the hotel I stay in

Rachel Morrison

Had such a great time staying here for our anniversary weekend! The hotel is so fun, the staff so kind and helpful, and they also have a delicious coffee shop right at the front for easy breakfasts It’s easy walking distance to so many things, especially the Boston Common, and is in such a beautiful neighborhood They also left a bottle of wine and a note in our room – Which was so thoughtful! 🙂

Justin Downs

Rooms are very small for the bed size/floorspace ratio, even considering the shared bathroom-block concept Design and accoutrements add a level of comfort and thoughtfulness, but some material choices are low worry and feel cheap Lobby design and decor however are impeccable and pay homage to the building and the area’s history

Also the private bathroom units within the shared washroom spaces are very welcoming and provide the privacy level on par with any included in the bedroom spaces, even while being non-traditional concept

Encore is a beautiful establishment and a great destination for a day, night or a weekend stay The rooms are very modern and aesthetically pleasing but they are a little small The suites have the same issue but they surely have an incredible view

The staff is great in some areas such as the wait staff, cleaning and customer care but the staff on the floor could use more training in customer service and hospitality You will find most table games to be full on a Friday or Saturday but on any other day you can find a seat at most tables I recommend the high roller area depending on how you play The slots are definitely top of the line and a lot of fun (if you’re one of those people who just loves throwing $100 bills in the trash) with a wide variety to choose from Dining is definitely a 5 star experience All of the restaurants are large portions and priced fairly for a casino There aren’t a ton of amenities like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun such as pools and steam rooms go but they do have a very well trained massage and spa staff which can be great after a long run I would recommend planning out your stay rather than just going with no reservation Overall I give Encore 4 stars out of 5 and besides a few very small things, closer to a 45 I hope you enjoy your day, night or stay here as much as I do

This casino is absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been to many casinos all over the country and in my eyes this easily compares to the best of themI only visited for a few hours, but was impressed with the size, layout and offerings found here Lots of table games (they were packed so the limits were a bit high for me) tons of slots, a sports book and bar and several restaurants from quick service to fine dining

Parking was free (apparently that was a point of contention for a while?) and plentiful in the garage below the casino with elevators straight to the casino It was refreshing to be in a non-smoking casino—that was a first for meService seemed to be easy to find, though I don’t drink so I didn’t need a server for anything I did see them walking by quite a bit, and several asked if I needed anythingNow I did get the luckiest I’ve ever been in my life with slots–which is not the norm by any means, so it helps that I left way up, but as always I started with a budget If you’re going to gamble be smart, plan on losing and never gamble more than you can afford to lose Have fun! Should be easy in such a nice place!

Brad W

The rooms are just incredible Luxury, luxury, luxury Everything is high quality, smart-connected, clean, comfortable

The bathroom is enormous, especially the soaking tub The bed I didn’t want to go back to my own bed after sleeping on that thing Best night of sleep I’ve had in months This was my second stay and we opted to spend an extra $40 for a harbor view and it was 100% worth it Watching the sun set over the city and the water is magical Service is fantastic, though of course the minibar and room service are very expensive But there’s a free water taxi that can take you downtown!Even if you aren’t a gambler and don’t care for the casino, check out the hotel It’s wonderful

A truly unique and pleasure to stay! From the moment you arrive you experience a unique musical experience with retro nostalgia from various music artists Cole, Annette and Chris at the front desk were so welcoming and friendly They took care to be sure we enjoyed our stay during the concert

I absolutely loved listening to vinyl albums in our room on the turntable The rooms was comfortable, clean and conveniently located to do many excellent restaurants Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Boston

OMG what a nightmare! We booked the room 6 months in advance based on the nice Victorian room pics on website Then when we checked in, he put us in the house next door with super small rooms, used garage sale furniture, old 20” tv (non smart tv) and nothing like the photos advertised! I went back to hallway and caught him walking in and told him this is unacceptable because we booked the Victorian rooms He said others paid more for rooms so they got the Victorian rooms

I told him this is a bait and switch and he stormed off while I was still talking to him Then we pulled covers back to check the sheets and there was a black hair on pillow case and a stain on sheet My wife called on phone and asked if they could change the sheets? He yelled at her “you don’t like, you can leave right now!”… I started looking around for hidden cameras thinking surely we must be getting punked for a new reality show on Air BnB’s! It was like the soup guy in the Seinfeld TV series! This all happened in first 10 minutes of arriving We checked hotels in area and all were booked so had stay here But wait it gets better, upon leaving room to check out, the lock broke on door and we were literally locked inside our room and had to wait until someone could open door with key from outside! I won’t even mention the towels from Dollar store or the dirty trash cans never emptied outside on porches etc Also they advertise as Bed & Breakfast but they Do Not serve breakfast They don’t even have fruit or water or anything like that You’ve been warned!!!

Miro Gavin

Not for germaphobes The covid precautions seem okay, but disinfected and sterile dirt on the sheets is still dirt on the sheetsAlso, they had MOLD GROWING on the air conditioner

It’s cold so it accumulates water, grows mold, and then because it grows on the air conditioner, the conditioner blows the mold spores everywhere So disgusting, but I haven’t gotten sick yet

Honestly

Beautiful, comfortable, accommodating & lovely staff However, when booking we were told certain amenities would be available such as a TV only to find out later that televisions aren’t offered in a particular building belonging to the facility Not so upsetting, considering I had my own technology, however, that plus the lack of soap and other basic accommodations (hair dryer, etc

) was a little unsettling The manager did his best to accommodate with this and parking Beautiful surrounding areas including a farm and other historic sites nearby in Cambridge Again, in terms of customer satisfaction, it leaves a lot to be desired

This hotel is very clean and orderly, and there is a quaintness about it, with lots of little narrow stairways etc The staff is courteous The location is great- we loved being able to be ‘at home’ in Cambridge in a more residential area, it definitely had a local feel

There is tea and coffee and chocolates in a common area, which was nice However everything is very outdated…it didn’t look like a single piece of furniture had been upgraded or replaced in at least 30 years, and a lot was chipped or threadbare It is basically the quality of a hostel, but with private rooms The shower and shower curtain grossed me out a bit- it was perfectly clean but just stained from age, and claustrophobic The mattress was super hard and springy and had a noisy plastic mattress protector The bathroom fan made an awful noise and turned on whenever the light was on The water in the toilet in our bathroom would not stop running, and the room smelled musty I literally bought a glade plug in air freshener from CVS to mask the smell Also there was no security latch, bolt, or chain on the inside of the room door, which did not make me feel comfortable- anyone with a key could enter at any time If I had paid $60-70 a night or something I would have been like ‘everything was old but it was a great deal!’ However it was like $200 a night after taxes Way too much money for how outdated the accommodations were If I had known what it was like I would have spent a little more on a different hotel

Matteo Antognoli

The inn is pleasant and not expensive compared to the area nearby downtown Most importantly it is well connected by Bus 1 and the red train line The Staff cares about cleaning your room

It is friendly and available to help you Although some improvements could be made (especially to the noisy AC and the mattresses), the place is fine for a short period like a vacation or a conference It has wifi and comfortable chairs in front of the main door

Yunyan Li

Great ambiance with historic feel! The staff was so friendly – I found out the day before my freedom trail tour that mobile pass won’t work and I need to print a physical copy, front office staff gladly let me sent email with the pass and printed for me in the office – saving me walking out in 99F heat to get it printed somewhereI also loved the common area/family room and the kitchen/dining/entertainment area in the basement I have enough room to lay out my two screens and practically all by myself with cool air beating the extreme heat outside

Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a walking-distance location to Harvard square’s fun and chic restaurants!

I’m mainly writing this because I saw some reviews in the past saying that the breakfast is only coffee and bread I would like to correct this: the breakfast, which is included in the price, is tea and coffee with toast, peanut butter and jelly, of which you can have as much as you want Maybe it’s not a big difference for some people, but I don’t think saying just coffee and bread is fair

Apart from that, the staff are amazing, kind and helpful The rooms have heir own bathroom with shower, very clean There is also a fridge, lockers and enough sockets (contrary to what it said in a past review) Maybe this changed after the renovation

We had a great stay in a private queen room (w/ private bathroom) The breakfast was incredible each morning The rooms are a little warm, but staff accommodated me by not only turning the thermostat slightly cooler, but also by providing me with a small fan, making it the perfect temp in the room

We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but they are available and coin operated There is an ice machine and a water filter in the basement, as well as multiple shared refrigerators It would have been great to have a fridge in the room, but we weren’t too inconvenienced by having to share Coffee available even in the afternoon, and it’s decent coffee! Thanks for the stay We’ll come again

Deep Chatterjee

I stayed at Irving house 5 years back when visiting MIT, and I really liked it, so I came back when I was visiting MIT again I took a single room with shared bath The room is perfect for a single person

It’s compact yet efficient The bed was also very comfortable It’s perfect for a short stay, if you are out for work on campus mostly I always found the bathrooms available It’s a little bit of a walk to MIT campus, but I enjoyed it I remembered the breakfast being great, and it still is Overall, great value for price for a short working stay

Daniel Reis

okay how can one have a horrible bed but still get four Stars? well it’s partly location location location Irving house is an 8 minute walk to the red line T and Harvard square and all the restaurants it’s a really nice walk, too

in the bed and breakfast is super clean charming it has a very good breakfast showers are great although there’s will a water and a half bathroom this for several rooms it was never a problem the bathroom was never occupied when I wanted to use it the single were my head was quite small but that was fine too okay the bed very squishy and there was a divot that one had to prop oneself up on to prevent one from falling in some people like soft bed so they might like a bed like this but I like a firm bed and this one was pretty bad but despite all that I would recommend this place highly very very pleasant comfy , quiet and very close to Harvard square

Well, this Holiday Inn Express was everything I expected

But, they gave me what I expected and more Upon checking in, the front office staff made us feel so welcome Joan, in particular, was quite friendly when we were zonked from a long drive Joan very kindly showed us where to park Easy, breezy check-in The breakfast was excellent Hot and cold items Very nice I made a mistake as breakfast goes to 11 am on weekends and 10 am on weekdays I showed up after breakfast had already been cleaned up My fault But the Breakfast manager offered to get me some bagels, fruit, and yogurt which she did not have to do I was late Upon checkout, we saw our housekeeper, and she said “Have a nice Day” Check-out was a breezeI don’t know Joan’s title but she brought over-the-top friendliness into the hotel What a delight We will returnOh, did I say we stayed over a Red Sock weekend game No matter They were busy but still extremely nice and welcomingDiane Borden

I came to Boston for Major surgery The professionalism and courtesy of their staff, compared to other hotels recommended by the hospital, was outstanding The room was deliciously comfortable, the staff strove to serve, and everything was as smooth as it could be while I was preoccupied by the stress of surgery

Will definitely choose this hotel the next time I come back to Boston for something more fun!

The location is great They provide a lot of practical amenities in the lobby which is extremely helpful if you are staying with a familyHowever, there were some concerns as well:We stayed for 13 days and was very difficult to get housekeeping done

They tell you that housekeeping is done every 3rd or 4th day while it mentions on the website ‘ Daily Housekeeping ‘We lost our laptop in their Business Center We asked them to have a look in their security cameras and they kept saying we need approval front their manager who was barely ever at the hotel So the issue still hasn’t been resolved after the incident took place almost 20 days twenty days ago

I was quite disappointed with my experience Rude desk clerks, broken elevators, too expensive breakfast buffet ($1499) that would have been just okay if it was complementary

I was shocked to find out only when I arrived that they charge $20 per car per night on top of your room charge just to park at the hotel Our keycards barely worked in any of the card readers and required up to 10 swipes in the elevator before it worked We saw this with multiple guests, and it became a joke when multiple people were in the same elevator car, with everyone trying their own cards before we found one that worked The card slot for our room was only marginally better It was an issue with everyone, and the front desk never mentioned it was an issue Bed was comfortable but only had a paper thin blanket sandwiched between two sheets That’s a sheet on top of the blanket; it was odd There’s a massive construction project directly across the street that was very noisy but not nearly as noisy as the typhoon of a heater in the room Even with earplugs, my wife and I awoke several times There were also strangely zero pamphlets, menus, local guides, TV guides, hotel amenities/directories, or even a Bible in the room I won’t stay here again

Jennifer Kivi

Good location but VERY noisy and small bed!! The location is great and not far from downtown Boston The lobby was nice looking and check in was easy The “king suite” we had booked had a full-sized bed (not the relaxing accommodation one hopes for)

It was very easy to hear hallway noise and people in other rooms Additionally, they had large truck deliveries occur around midnight 2 nights we were there, which led to very loud banging as they moved large items on/off the truck

Kristen

I am a travel nurse and stayed here for an extended stay I had an amazing experience! The front desk workers were always welcoming and helpful (especially with helping me find a subway route to my hospital) Cleaning service always did a wonderful job and the man who works at the buffet/dinner was always so friendly to everybody who came in!

Booked a one night weekend stay on a whim, then decided to go a different weekend

when we called to cancel, the hotel said that it was too late and would charge us a fee that would be nearly the cost of the whole thing (less than 12 hrs after we first booked) Deciding to roll with it, we went anywayApparently the advertised free parking garage does not have enough parking for every guest, so after we checked in, we were advised to not move the car so we ended up taking a taxi everywhereThe breakfast served bad eggs (sour) and was generally below average quality for the type of hotel This was also the first time I’ve ever seen a tip jar at a continental breakfast with both attendants sitting guard , watching it the entire time we were thereThe room we stayed in had a faint musty smell reminiscent of mildewy AC, but was cleaned decently It was also right next to the elevators so there were some pretty loud noises, but thats not the hotel’s fault (unsure if this was a last resort sort of room or if they aren’t aware)Other than that, everything else was par for the course Overall not horrific but on the bad side of “fine”

The service at the hotel was atrocious Although we understand places are short-staffed, getting housekeeping 1 out of 8 days seems extreme Also, the staff seemed surprised that we wanted our room trash taken out every 2 days, and did not make it easy to get more coffee or towels delivered (you had to go get these yourself)

When a trashcan was a bit dirty (because they don’t offer plastic trash bags) the housekeeping handed it to us and told us to rinse it out in our bathtub! For the price of the hotel, we expected better service

The hotel was good! But they didn’t give any room service during our six days Stays! Also, the chef from the breakfast area was very rude Before leaving the hotel I went there and wanted to gave to thank her for her service she didn’t even replied which is very awkward Unless anyone doesn’t need any fresh towels or room service the hotel was not that bad!

The actual hotel was lovely, the room was clean, the staff was amazing But DO NOT eat or drink at this hotel One of the night desk employees went on and on about how amazing the breakfast was, online it said it was 20 a person

My family was on board to try it We got there at 830, on the weekends they open at 8 The food was BARELY warm It was powered eggs, bacon, sausage and some potatoes The pastries were are frozen and thawed The “chef special” was perhaps the grilled zucchini? It was a pitiful breakfast spread The coffee literally assaulted my mouth it was so burnt and bitter Than the second pot was a watery mess They brought us the bill and it was 31 bucks an adult and 10 for my 6 year old I spent 100 bucks on a breakfast spread that was no better than the free breakfast at a comfort inn And the wine prices?! Holy hell 2 glasses of wine cost over 55 dollars! And we didn’t get super fancy wine I looked up the prices on both and I basically paid for the price of the bottle with one glass Not worth the money I literally bought a 1299 for a bottle of wine that tasted just as good Great hotel, horrible pricing on mediocre food

I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool and hot tub While the room was as expected, bed comfortable

the pool left MUCH to be desired Bottom line, it was gross The pool water was brown legit brown Not to mention the yellow scum-line The hot tub was the same but be sure to add the floating hair balls and no joke, large sand/dirt granules covering the bottom As if it has never been vacuumed So disgusted and disappointed! All that said, the pool gets 0 stars (negative if that were possible) but the front desk staff were very nice, helpful at check in Oh, and paying almost $50/night for parking on top of the room charge is ABSOLUTE RIDICULOUS!! If I wanted to get real petty, I could also mentioned that the TV had no guide so you have to click into each channel to see what’s on Ugh Probably will NOT stay here again sure I can find something better than this in BostonI do not recommend this hotel if you are interested in the pool area

I absolutely love this hotel in Boston Staff are extremely helpful, and rooms and amenities are kept pristine The food served in the restaurant is excellent, and we grabbed several pizzas from there throughout our stay

Next to the check in area, there is a great place for cold food and snacks as well as a professional coffee machine Hilton diamond members get $18 credits per person per day for up to two people This means you are able to use your credit on any snacks or restaurant foodI really like that they have an indoor pool which is excellent and a pretty good sizeThey have four elevators that are really fast, and the close and open door buttons are extremely responsive The elevators have glass windows pointing inwards so that you could see the entire hotel as you go up and downOne of the best parts is that they have a free shuttle bus every hour that will take you to certain locations This is excellent if you need to be dropped off near the Harvard area and I don’t want to deal with finding an Uber or LyftOverall, this was a great hotel and a great experience and I would stay here again

Pay for what you getPro: Nice ambiance Unlimited water bottles

Con:- the front desk is understaffed; the guy working was also at the bar entertaining a guest I called several times and then ended up coming downstairs to tell them we had ordered pizza-The exercise room is well equipped with decent equipment and towels, but no wipes I worked out at 11 pm and felt like there was sweat everywhere Also, I don’t know how this particular design was formulated but there is a door stop on the door so make sure you do not painfully stub your toe like me Why didn’t they put it on the wall?- don’t put your hotel room cards by your phone, it will demagnetize We had to reset several times- rooms were 8/10 clean Check your sheets and bring wipes I wiped down the counters and definitely picked up some stuck on funky gunkPro tip: park in back and request room facing back

Christopher White

Bed was not sanitary There were a couple brown stains that housekeeping just put thin sheets over to hide I left the room for the day with the stains showing to make it obvious to them but they just put sheets over it again

House keeping also didn’t replace our shampoo bottles There is no safe in the room for passports Transit is not great in this area, you’ll have to walk 15 minutes to get to a bus stop that can take you to downtown Boston On the plus side the rooms are furnished nicely, the bed is comfortable, and there is free parking, but I don’t know why this hotel has such a high price given the cleanliness

I traveled alone when I stayed at The Charlesmark and I couldn’t have had a better time! I felt completely safe, had a fantastic view of the Boston Public Library right outside my room, slept great because the hotel was so quiet even though I was staying during the weekend, and stayed warm with perfectly working heating and hot water I really enjoyed the fact that a complementary breakfast was provided Also the fact that the hotel offered keys to your room and the building because they lock up at 10PM made me feel extremely safe as I was traveling alone

ALSO there’s a train stop right across the street All of this combined with the fact that the room stayed within my budget was so perfect I will definitely recommend this hotel and stay here when I visit Boston again!!!

Minal Kamat

The hotel is cute and well located The rooms are not sound proof You can hear footsteps of those living above you as well as the traffic

Service was great from the receptionist Our poor experience was at the bar Our first day in the afternoon and they ran out of the mimosas The next morning, we didn’t get any eye contact and had to ask for coffee and pastry I got an eye roll for asking for hot tea Our 3rd day in the morning, they had no pastries and refused to serve hot cappuccino that they served the previous day Loved the food and service at the restaurant! I will recommend with reservations

Jackie Ham

Perfect location! The T stop is on the same block Yes the rooms are small but that is not unusual for a city hotel The staff are super friendly

My only critique would be of the continental breakfast The pastries are fabulous but you must ask for them at the counter It would be nice to have some fruit available as pictured on the website and plenty of coffee

Very expensive for a hostel, at least the night I was there Maybe the rates are a lot better on other days I guess they were taking full advantage of the ridiculously priced hotels in the area

Front desk staff were okay, but not super friendly with me I immediately began to wonder if I should be there, because I’m a mid 40s woman, and maybe they prefer younger people Then I got in the elevator and saw a large sign that said, “to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and it’s people through hosteling” I’m still scratching my head over this moto and the way I felt just seconds prior I don’t want to be one of those people who pick something apart and misconstrue the real meaning of things, but I did feel that they “ESPECIALLY” prefer younger travelers The experience left me feeling unwelcome and a little sad I can learn a lot from younger people and they can learn a lot from me Together, and not “especially” one or the other, is what I want and need Other than that, the place was clean with nice sharable spaces I only needed a place to sleep and then left

Tamanika Ferguson

Would definitely stay again Doors are noisy and the six bed dorm rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but the staff work hard to maintain the hostel Spacious kitchen and lounge areas

The hostel is very colorful with wall art and paintings There is a little cafe adjacent to the front desk Lots of windows and natural sunlight Hostel is centrally located within walking distance to public transportation in around the city Boston is very lively Luv the city vibe

Kim Hughes

This was my very first time staying in a hostel I chose this hostel because it was rated higher than the $300-400 a nite hotels in the Boston area I was NOT disappointed

The staff is VERY helpful The facility is very clean and safe All the common areas are spacious and clean as well The travelers I met while there were friendly and quiet I had a great experience

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Row Hotel 2 weeks ago and they made our wedding a perfect day! They took care of all our needs to the finest detail! The food was so delicious Everyone was coming up to us and saying what a wonderful hotel it was You could cut the filet with a fork, so tender and juicy! The waiters were always available if we needed something during and after the meals, they were right there with our requests

The rooms were spotless, and the staff working at the lobby desk were extremely polite and very helpful The Row is only 7 miles from Logan and we had guests coming from Australia, Ireland and Canada So it was a quick drive from Boston! The whole area is so convenient and has so much to offer the guests The entire staff from the valet to waitresses in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast were very tuned into everything we needed THANK YOU ROW HOTEL FOR GIVING US A WEDDING WEEKEND WE WILL NEVER FORGET! A special thanks to Marissa, our wedding coordinator for doing an A+ job! We loved your hotel!!!!!

Dhanu Thiyag Ranjit

Our wedding at the Row Hotel was the best choice that we made! The hotel is modern and gorgeous, but more importantly, Marissa made the event planning fun and smooth! She was always so kind and supportive no matter what changes we wanted made She responded quickly and kept everything super organized! The Row ensured all dietary and taste restrictions were accommodated safely Marissa provided one-on-one care the week of the wedding taking care of even the small things like getting us up to our suite and the big things like making the decorations look better than we even envisioned! Marissa and her team were there throughout the event to ensure everything went smoothly and helped afterwards to even clean

We could not have picked a better venue to make our event perfect! Thank you!

This hotel isn’t worth the price tag My wife booked me a stay as a “mom’s night out” treat – it was my first and only night I’ve ever been away from my son so it was supposed to be a relaxing break for me She specifically reserved their room with the nice teacup bath tub

The tub is nice, very big and deep, but the water doesn’t get very hot – pretty much just lukewarm, like pool water They say they have a pantry on the second floor with “seasonal snacks” – it’s a shelf with jars of mints The hotel does not offer room service, which is odd The manager claims they offer room service for breakfast, but this contradicts what I was told during my stay and there is no menu or any information in the room to suggest they offer this My room had an adjoining door with another and the guests next door were a family with a baby Can’t fault them at all, but the walls must be insanely thin because I could hear them all night You’d think they’d do some more soundproofing I ordered a burger from the hotel restaurant to bring back to my room, it was one of only 5 menu offerings on what they said was an altered menu due to the storm – though no prior mention of reduction of hotel offerings was given before my stay or else I might have had the option to change my reservation After almost hour I hadn’t heard back about my dinner order, and no one mentioned an extended wait when I ordered, so I went down to the lobby, they were able to get my order after another bit of waiting, but the burger wasn’t well done as ordered The room itself was just fine They offer a bathrobe but no slippers The best part of the stay was probably the breakfast buffet, which was nice and the staff member managing it that morning offered excellent service If I had spent $100-$200 for the room I would’ve thought it was a fine deal But for the hefty price (nearing $500) you expect something higher quality It was a disappointing night away, and left me wishing I’d stayed home
