Jerry Hardway

Pretty good location with easy access from the airport and interstate Staff is friendly and the hotel is generally okay The place is dated and it does show it’s age to some degree

My wife and I stayed two weeks here and it definitely wasn’t the best stay we ever had but it was acceptable They have a standard continental breakfast every day but no waffles or pancakes The rooms are fairly nice but nothing special Our microwave was old and the platter no longer rotated making it hard to evenly warm up food Our fridge didn’t have a freezer section but was cold enough to freeze water unfortunately There is also no temperature adjustment on said fridge The room did have a nice couch, chair, and table to allow for working from the hotel room The hotel internet was acceptable but we did bring a cellular hotspot to work from The bathrooms are small but look okay The shower was cold about half the time so I assume the water heating boilers cannot keep up with the typical demand from the guests Last but not least our sheets were dirty when we got into the room I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want luxury but it’s cheap and doesn’t have bugs so it’s not all bad

Amber Dailey

Check in went fine Got to our room, it was decent Left for our concert then got back around midnight

Went to go to bed and pulled the sheets down to reveal 3 long hairs and 2 short hairs in my bed Called the front desk and they said they could move us to another room It’s midnight I’m not going to move to another room in the middle of the night after I had already unpacked all my things Had to be demanding that they come and make the bed with new sheets They finally did and I could finally go to bed Also when I finally laid down you could hear someone stomping around upstairs until 3 am I will not stay here again Not just the hair but the fact you can hear others in their rooms The manager gave us $25 off our stay I guess something is better than nothing but we will not be staying here ever again

Gabi German

Customer service: I said ā€œgood morningā€ or ā€œhiā€ to more than 5 front desk employees and they didnā€™t say back All of them standing next to a ā€œbe kindā€ sign I found it sarcastic

Good location, easy access to train and restaurants all around itClean and confortable

This is an older Hampton Inn It desperately needs some attention Not in the best part of town

No refrigerator or microwave in the room as normal in many Hilton properties I was scheduled to stay for 4 nights I moved to another much better Hilton property for the same rate downtownI would recommend this place only if you need a room to sleep in or it is ski season and the rate was good Definitely better hotels in Salt Lake City to stay in

Stephanie Nightingale

Absolutely horrible customer service! An older woman’s husband was dying in the hospital and the hotel wouldn’t allow her to extend their reservation because he wasn’t at the hotel – in person! How in the world would he be able to do that? The woman offered to pay cash but the front counter shooed her away When she asked if he wanted her to sleep in her car, he just shrugged Appalling customer service

All staff were the same None seemed to like their jobs and several talked badly about new management DO NOT stay at this hotel

E. Jeffrey Hill

Because my wife is allergic to dogs and there were no rooms for her at this hotel because ALL rooms are pet friendly We asked to change rooms, no dice

even though the parking lot was basically empty We asked for a refund, no dice because we paid ahead I have stayed at Hilton properties for 40 years This has never happened before, and I hope it never happens again Or I may move to Marriott!

Ended up staying here for a week The staff is super friendly, especially Paul! He was very helpful, professional and just a great guy! They are pet friendly too! Surrounding area of the hotel doesnā€™t provide much grass but thereā€™s plenty of areas to walk your pet with the nearby propertiesHad a hot breakfast every morning with decent variety

From eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon to a mini waffle maker to muffins and bagels/bread Cereal and yogurt too! Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a couple of barsThe rooms are clean and comfortable The sink is outside of the bathroom which wasnā€™t a big deal to me Rooms come with a fridge and a microwave Would definitely stay here again They were great!

Bekah Perry

We paid for a king sized suiteā€¦ the shower was barely comfortable for one person and the plug for the tub was just sitting on the side of the tub Our flat screen tv was quite small, you couldnā€™t really see it very well from the bed due to how small it was Honestly, there was nothing different from a regular king bed compared to what I had for king suites at other Comfort Inns

I was quite disappointed and had I known that was what the suite would be I would have chosen to save the amount to upgrade and just gotten a normal king bed, not the suite The room in general felt like it really needed to be updated, except for the mattress, the mattress was the only thing that felt suite like in our roomThe staff was pretty good and friendly though, I appreciated their work And I loved having check out be noon instead of the traditional 11am Everything also appeared to be decently clean as well, I feel like the staff cared but our room definitely needed an update and to not be considered a suite

shauna harris

Extremely dirty Everywhere not just the room Our sheets were not clean

Literally stains in the pillow and sheets The pool was dark poorly little the plastic covering for the roof had a huge hole It was freezing and raining in the pool We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again Not the first poor experience weā€™ve had Do not stay here Unsanitary

Fun get away with my spouse Many restaurant choices that are close Breakfast was very tasty

The rocky mountain tub shower combo is interestingThe Mountain Retreat is exactly that a mountain cabin feelThe room could use a microwave to heat water if you drink tea/coffee (bring your own) DVD movies provided We had a good time

First time staying here and now this will be where we stay when in SLC! What a charming place! Jessica checked us in and was amazing and helpful! The room was super cute and the jacuzzi/waterfall shower was heaven!!! The breakfast was served in our room and at our time specified; it was really good! Cant wait to stay in different rooms, but Mississippi Serenade may be hard to beat! Thank you for making our romantic getaway amazing!!

Saturday night and no kitchen staff; Disappointing but not a deal breaker Fireplace didn’t work; same feeling about this as the kitchen Jacuzzi hasn’t been deep cleaned in a while; turned it on and hard water scale and other foreign specs came out of the jets

kinda gross The kitchen was across the hall from us and we got woke up to clanging dishes for breakfast prep from 6am onFood was good in the morning Room was decent and unique lookingOverall disappointed for the price you pay Rather spend the money and get a suite at another hotel downtown

I love the location of the hotel The service was spectacular The front desk and manager were very helpful and constantly making sure that everything was good

I also really enjoyed the atrium The hotel has a lot of great amenities like a Starbucks and a restaurant and a really comfortable giant seating area with a lot of comfortable couches and chairs and ample places to plug in your electronics to charge The pool was nice even though I did not end up using it but I used the fitness center a couple times and it was great The location is very good close to the airport and downtown It is it is definitely a solid four stars The bed was very comfortable in the room was really clean The only reason I would not give it five stars as I felt the rooms themselves were very dated They had kind of an ugly yellowish seventies look and really dim lamps and lighting and I think the rooms are in grave need of upgrading Like I said though they were very comfortable and clean All in all, I would definitely come back

Kaylani Boland

I stayed here about 5 years ago & remember it being pleasant This visit not so much, the front desk was friendly & helpful however there was an attendant walking around the elevators talking about mechanical something or other which made me quite nervous I flat out asked her if we were going to get stuck in the elevator? She said ā€œI think theyā€™re fine but sometimes when theyā€™re at full capacity they can get thrown offā€ whatever that means? (yikes) I finally asked her to stop talking to us while we waited for the elevator

The decor was super dated, bathrooms were absolutely filthy behind the doors & around toilets, the sofa sleeper also had a brown stain on one cushion I wish I could share photos of our findings We paid $225 each for 2 rooms that my 14 year old twins didnā€™t even want to shower in because they were noticeably grossI wouldnā€™t recommend eating here We got the breakfast buffet @ $15 a head & didnā€™t eat anything but the sealed yogurt & a little fruit Honestly Iā€™ve had better food in hospitalsThis place is overpriced but under deliversā€¦at least we didnā€™t find any bedbugs :/

Ceanbriana K

The front desk representative Chino was amazing! Very sharp and knew exactly what she was talking about, She helped from when I checked in to my check out day!! She was always willing to help and was always happy and positive!! The housekeeping on the other hand was not so great, I had requested service the night before the day I needed it, and I was gone for the whole day when I returned my room was still dirty, which I understand them being very busy, but when I asked them to clean it they took about 25 minutes and when I went back into my room it was still dirty and bathroom was clearly skipped, the only thing that they did was restock my towels, which I was grateful for but why did it take 25 minutes? When nothing was cleaned? I was a housekeeper for 4 years and I know what is supposed to be done, very disappointed with the housekeeping service, The breakfast chef was amazing!! And was always smiling and was very helpful! She made great omelets! Very pleased with the food!

Great hotel for a stay in the area Front desk and workers were the friendliest of all the hotels I stayed in this trip Perfect location for walking to restaurants and nearby park after a long day in the car

There’s even an outdoor sitting area for eating breakfastThe room layout is also good for families – even though it’s all one room, the desk and glass divider blocks out views between the sofa bed and main bed And even though the hotel has the sliding barn door for the bathroom, this one actually locks (which has been my main complaint for that type of door and traveling with small children)!I’d stay here again if I was in the area

Lisa C

This is a typical SHS hotel The room itself was nice and clean There is free breakfast from 6:30-9a

The public areas are nice The walls seemed unusually thin Also, the shower head was on the opposite side of the shower, which I’ve experienced at other SHS and has been fine, but at this location the shower was small and the door opened inward so you could not turn on the shower until you were inside the shower with the door closed Not a big deal at all, but results in being sprayed with cold water until it heats up šŸ˜‚ This may have been a design flaw on all rooms, or our room could’ve been an exception Either way, the hotel was fine

Constance Norona

Easy check in Nice, updated room that makes very good use of space, including a lot of stow spots that keep surfaces from being cluttered Comfortable mattress and linens

Surprisingly good variety at the free breakfast bar Make your own waffle was great (crisp outside, fluffy interior) toppings included both milk chocolate and semisweet chips, coconut flakes, pepitas, and whipped cream (well, probably topping) you put on as much as you want Also plenty of healthy options for brekkie Very convenient to a good selection of shopping and restaurantsUpdated review Everything is still really good, a few brekkie items were improved My go-to spot to stay when I visit in SLC sugarhouse area

Location isnt super close to much Service was above and beyond and helpful Only reason for the missing stars is because you can hear everything in the rooms

We stayed here one night before flying out and stayed here the night we flew back in two weeks later We left our vehicle here which was in one piece when we came back However the first night our room was next to the exit side door and next to the stairwell You Could hear everyone going in and out the door, anyone going up or down the stairs and any conversations in the stairwell The second stay they put us in a room right by the elevator It was the same thing again You could hear anyone getting on or off the elevator Just wasn’t ever quiet which made it not very relaxing Besides that, the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable and the staff was lovely

Mike O’Carroll

Nice clean room Staff was friendlyThe breakfast service was really bad

We arrived Saturday for a funeral Sunday morning there was nothing in the hot food section Bagels and muffins looked like leftovers from the day before Monday there was 1 dried up omelet and a few potatoes Tuesday was better with breakfast sandwichesI spoke with the manager, Sydnee Shiner, she politely explained how everything went wrong with someone getting sick She apparently had no backup I was informed that breakfast is complimentary so if you don’t get it that is OK She emphasized complimentary I will remember that if I want to stay at another Fairfield Inn

Viktoriya Ivanova

Location is great, very convenient whether you need to get to the mountains or downtown and is close to the interstate The hotel is well maintained and the room was clean, staff was nice and they had hot breakfast My problem with them is they let people pay cash for the hotel (which is my understanding against Marriott brands policy)

The issue with it that dangerous criminals can be staying in the same hotel with you I found this out during my last day witnessing police arrest a group of people (one of which escaped in the car) I didn’t ask what they were arrested for but as police moved their cars so I could get out, one of the detectives asked me a few questions and told me the people they arrested paid cash to stay there I view this as a safety concern

We enjoyed our stay here Hotel rooms were nice and well kept Our bathroom had a roomy shower with glass doors

The free breakfast was great The staff were welcoming and helpful It’s close to the airport and downtown We rented a car, but honestly it may have been better to just Uber since all we were doing was going downtown We had to pay parking every time we went down there So I’m not sure how much it saved us since we just went down town for a conference all day and kept our parking at one location There were lots that were $20 and others that were $10

JameZ Bee

This is just a great place to stay The rooms are very clean and up to date Mattresses are good

The staff is very attentive, great customer service And the location is conveniently right off the freeway, but not so close that you hear it in your room There is plenty of parking The pricing is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area Not significantly higher But then it’s nicer than the other hotels nearby as well

Kate Swensen

Staff is really helpful and friendly they were the best part of our stay Room cleanliness was okay If youā€™re going for the pool I wouldnā€™t classify it as a water park, much smaller than it looks in photos

The Poole cleanliness wasnā€™t great either Be sure to know kids under 48ā€ canā€™t ride the big slide which was a letdown for my kids who were just under that My kids had fun but we probably wonā€™t be back

I was a little bit skeptical about this place at first because it is an inn (remind me of a motel) But it turns out to be great The room is clean and has everything that hotel provides

The location is obviously not downtown, but if you have a car this should not be an issue It has a really convenience access to the freeway Bus no 209 can take you to downtown too The one other great thing that we found is it’s really close to a historic farm You must check that out Really cool and great photography location

Laura Lee-Haycock

We stayed here for a family reunion in June 2022 The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable Service was good and employees were very friendly

It is a bit outdated but not horribly I would recommend a change in the breakfast menu It’s the same things everyday and no waffle maker Coffee is awful We only ate the breakfast twice due to the reason above No variety at allParking is a bit crowded and if there is no spaces in the front you have to park in the back which is not well lit and a but unsafeI would stay here again in the future I would just plan to eat out for breakfast

Monica Murariu

Personnel was so amazing and so helpful, on top of that we really appreciated the shuttle from and to the airport, the location right next to the ski bus, the gym, the pool and the jacuzzi Maybe too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, however that didnā€™t stop us from spending some relaxing evenings there The rooms were not the most amazing feature of this hotel, but the sofa was so much appreciated! So 4 stars for the location, jacuzzi, sofa and the shuttle for the price! Iā€™m going to return for sure

My Dad was air flighted to the U of U Hospital after falling from his horse My cousin and I are both Marriott members He set up the rooms and paid for them

It has a really nice rooms and outside area was stunning The hotel was great to work with us and provided a medical rate It was perfect location and we were very close to the hospital However, when I checked out they insisted that the rooms weren’t paid for, so I paid it when checking out Then, when my cousin and I talked, we discovered that were double charged, and it took almost a full month to figure it out

jax Yo

Very disappointed First of all, if youā€™re looking forward to hot showers during your stay at this place, forget about it! Thereā€™s no hot water coming out of the shower heads Just a tiny bit warm, enough to wash up quickly and get out

Secondly, no microwaves in the rooms Nor do they have a coffee maker (Starbucks in the lobby though) Thereā€™s one microwave by the front desk, so had to go down four floors to heat my leftovers And wait for others to heat up theirs Paid over $300 a night for this Marriott location that is equivalent to any other less expensive 2-25 star hotelDid notice alot of group meetings, conventions, catering So maybe theyā€™re great group hosts šŸ¤”

Jerry Hughes

I Made reservations five weeks in advance for TWO rooms When I originally called I was told we would get adjourning rooms Guess what we got, ONE room on the fifth floor and the SECOND room on the seventh floor

We were told at check in thatā€™s all that was available BS, the parking lot was NOT even Ā½ full Besides poor room location, the A/C wasn’t the greatest because the direction blades were broken and you could not adjust the airflow direction Room was small and no microwave I have had a better room at a Motel 6 In nearly 60 years of travel from Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and many places in between have I ever received such poor service NO, WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY MARRIOTT or recommend Marriott in the future

This hotel was amazing! As a snowboarder, it felt like it was made for me with the in-room snowboard/ski racks The rooms are modern and very clean The staff was very friendly and welcoming

The rooftop patio is very comfortable and the building itself has a really unique feel to it It is a work in progress, but it was an amazing place as is The snowboard/ski shops, the skate park, and the art gallery all under the same roof was amazingly convenient I canā€™t wait to come back when itā€™s completely finished!

This is an amazing space and concept Stitching together one of the best retailers in the outdoor space with a rad hotel and many yet to come experiences (skate park, climbing gym, bar, restaurant and more) within this breathtakingly renovated old building is an experience like no other While there were still a few kinks to work out, we stayed during their soft launch, you totally get where this is headed

Beds were comfy Rooms are cozy Art throughout the space is terrific My daughter really enjoyed the skate park and can’t wait to comeback and use the climbing gym

Jeremy Matherly

I really enjoyed my stay at evo Hotel in February The location is very convenient It took me only10 minutes to get to evo Hotel from the airport and when I went snowboarding at Woodward Park City it was a mellow 25 minute commute

Be sure to check out Ruby Snap cookies that is only 2 blocks away (with Roots Coffee shop directly next door) or take a 5 minute stroll north to Rose Establishment for a delicious breakfast The evo Hotel building is beautiful and features really cool artwork throughout There are large murals in the common areas and each hotel room features a different artist There is even a QR code on the door to each room that directs you to information about the featured artist The hotel shares space with outdoor equipment shops (evo), a skatepark and a climbing gym There are 2 outdoor patio areas with fire pits and a great view of the mountains During my week long stay the site was still not 100% open I was told that coming soon there will be an in-house bar, restaurant and coffee bar on site The staff were very friendly and fun to chat with My room was clean (basically brand new) and cozy with a private patio and view of the city and mountains I’ll definitely be coming back

We were in Salt Lake last week for my daughterā€™s volleyball tournament We were pleasantly surprised with both our hotel and the wonderful people working there Cold weather during spring break was not something we weā€™re looking forward to but our experience at SpringHill Suites West Valley was relaxing

Miguel, the general manager is a great person The ladies at the front desk always greeted us with a smile Our room was spacious and clean The workout facility was clean and adequate Breakfast was perfect for a family on the go early in the morning The location is a fairly short drive to the downtown convention center My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks across the parking lot at Pins and Brews Red Robin, Starbucks, In and Out Burger, and a DQ in the mallā€¦we enjoyed our stay in SLC and our home base, SpringHill Suites

Jerry Zhong

Overall a solid night stay, and location is very convenient However, the breakfast was slightly disappointing: lacking a bit of varieties compared to other marriotts we’ve stayed at Also, if you arrive in an EV and is planning to use the charger at the hotel, take it with a grain of salt since both the plugs were out and I had to go to downtown to top up

We stayed here on business and we really enjoyed our stayThe staff was friendly and accommodating; they called me when my Amazon package arrived and placed us in a non pet room since I’m allergic to pet dander They provided clean extra towels, without a wait

The hotel is directly across from the mall that has one of the best movie theatres on town! We selected lounge seating and the theatre also had excellent surround sound There are also a lot of resturants within walking distance; and a bowling alley that has a full rssturant and bar, axe throwing, pool table, video games and billardsThe room was super clean!***My only major complaint, the hotel needs to offer decaf coffee This is the only Marriott hotel that I’ve stayed at, who didn’t offer decaf coffee You should offer a decaf option

I have to say that the room was decent except for the noisy neighbors but not too bad The room was comfortable What we had an issue with was breakfast

Breakfast is supposed to be from 7:00 to 10:00am We came down at 8:00am The selection was extremely poor at best and when we asked if they had any more breakfast sandwiches we were told no they were out How can you be out an hour after you put breakfast out? She wasnā€™t the most pleasant either The juice was empty and never refilled So you had a choice to make your own waffle, an egg patty in a paper bag, bread, or cereal I understand itā€™s a complementary breakfast, however, running out of food an hour after you begin breakfast is not acceptable We have stayed at other locations all over Wyoming and have never had such a poor breakfast

it was our first time staying herePros :* Good location, close to a lot of stores, Liquor store and the hospital* Room was spacious & clean* Breakfast was decent not great* Beds were comfortable but not great* Spacious Lobby Area and cleanCons :* We had to wait about 15 minutes for the frond desk Lady to show up at the desk

(there were no signs posted)* Make sure the request a room not close to the elevator it was loud* They were out of coffee for breakfast* the chocolate milk was expired ( we noticed when we checked out and on the way home)* The lobby music was really loud, specially at nightsOverall we are happy with the stay, would stay here again

I reserved a room with two queen beds and was given a room with only one king I called and asked for the correct room and was told a new room and then the staff member hung up I did not know if I needed to go down and get new keys, if someone was bringing them up, or if she could change them from her computer

We do to our new room and the key doesn’t work I have to take my exhausted children back down to the front desk to get new keysOn top of that, the carpets are absolutely disgusting; completely covered in stains The entire hotel smells like someone bathed in curry and then rolled around on every single floor I love to eat curry, don’t get me wrong, but this was something elseOverall, I will NEVER stay at a Home2Suite again Worst hotel experience of my life

My first stay at Ellerbeck, and it was absolutely wonderful! The building is elegant and beautiful, the decor is intriguing and nostalgic For a moment you feel like youā€™re transported to a different time, absolutely peaceful and tranquil Then, the breakfast was delicious; the cottage cakes were fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly

I canā€™t say enough good things about my experience I highly recommend the Ellerbeck bed-and-breakfast as a unique place to stay in Salt Lake City, and Iā€™ll be back for sure!

Our stay at the Ellerbeck Bed & Breakfast was like a dream! We booked and stayed in the Zion room It was like sleeping in a place of history We were in love with the decor and the theme kept throughout the house

The breakfast in the morning was absolutely deliciousThey were also very accommodating as I had a friend come in and decorate it a little in celebration of my wedding anniversary and they allowed him to come in and decorate the room no problem, no hassle Definitely want to stay again

The is a nice place to stay for being older The beds are comfortable but the pillows not so muchIt is a good location downtown as well

I think what I liked most was the bar attached to the hotel They provided menus for each eating establishment attached to the hotel so we could order anything from a high end steak to great finger foods and appetizers All while in the comfort of the bar in the relaxed atmosphere The staff at the hotel and bar were very attentive and friendlyI was taken aback by the lack of parking as I’ve never had to pay for parking independently from the hotel before It was quite expensive for what was provided as well Maybe I’m a bit sheltered, I don’t know but all in all it was a great experience

Kyla Beck

What a beautiful place!!! I loved walking into the lobby, and seeing how big and beautiful it looked The employees there were all so kind, and took wonderful care of us! We stayed for our birthdays this past week, and we will most definitely be staying again!! Our room was huge, the bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable It was so fun to get away for a bit, and be able to relax here

Thank you guys so much for the amazing experience

Stayed for 4 nights and location was perfect! Walkable to all the best restaurants and bars I know the building is old, but maintenance needs to be kept a up with Drains in sinks not working and drains in showering falling off

Temperature settings in shower are backwards Bathrooms sinks in lobby make a screeching noise when turned on Rooms are extremely small and sinks are outside the bathroom, in the bedroom area The king size room felt even too small for 2 people Would be nice if they took each 2 rooms and combined it into 1 room to make it more modern and spacious so guests arenā€™t crammed Staff were nice and always had fresh coffee and water Bar downstairs I do not recommend Weird theme with gargoyles , strange music , and drinks are too surgery Head to Lake Effect bar instead

I didn’t like the hotel, there is no free parking, no breakfast, I had to slam the door so it could close every time The shower was clogged up, the pillows were old because they didn’t keep the shape, the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted, the valance on the curtain was falling, furniture was old, bedding was stain They claimed the pool was heated which was not true

Also they don’t have housekeeping If you are used to someone making your bed, getting you clean towels and taking out your trash, this is not the place You have to put your trash outside of your door and ask for everything else you might need but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in To top it all off they don’t have late check out We paid a lot of money and it was not worth the price in my opinion I paid nearly $1,800 for 2 rooms for 5 nights and they couldn’t accommodate for me to check out 1 hour later in one of the rooms It was just 1 hour Some staff were friendly The only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION !!! There is a few hotels around the same area with more amenities so next time I visit I will look somewhere else to stay I feel robbed for the price I paid

Chayla Teske

Didn’t enjoy that we had to pay for parking

$10 per night per car Must have missed that in the description Hotel is a little run down Receptionist was nice A light breakfast would be nice, muffins or something on the goMake sure to put the do not disturb on your door Even though check out is 11am, room service woke us up walking into our room around 830 Doors have large gaps at the bottom so we could hear everything going on in the hallway Kids running, the ice machine running We woke up a few times because of noise in the hallwayThe only plus about this hotel is the close approximately to city center Temple square is right there, the tram is across the street, City Creek Mall is a block away

Maxwell Krem

Stayed 4 days Check-in was easy, and all the staff were very friendly There is no complementary breakfast

Bathrooms are a little bit small but functional enoughThe exercise/workout room has treadmill (was very fussy), a couple elliptical machines, and a set of free weights: workout options are a bit limited The room and bathroom were cleaned well enough, however On the positive side, I thought the staff were very responsive, and the hotel is very close to the light rail and the convention center

It was nice and has a great location If I could review the other customers I would not give a great review because the lobby smelled like pot when we arrived and they had cases of beer out making it feel like they were going to be there a while and we were invading their private party We loved our room and customer service was awesome but we didn’t get good sleep with so many guests making noise all night through the seemingly thin walls

This would probably be a great place if you are a night owl, I really needed my sleep for travel and liked the convenience of this location being downtown

Ryan Saunders

Location is everything here, we were going to a jazz game and were able to just walk there I even had to walk back because you couldn’t take bags into the game, and it only took about 5 minutes walkingThe room was nice and clean

Breakfast was good This was our second time staying here and will most likely will be back in the future

Cee GeeBee

We had a great night here before our flight out of SLC The room was the perfect setup and is really conducive for longer stays There was a kitchenette, a living area, the bedroom, and nice bathroom

Very quiet and adequate breakfast in the morning We’ve had great experiences with the Hyatt brand and would definitely stay at a Hyatt House again!

The front desk staff are so friendly and professional and made my stay as comfortable as they could possibly can The suites are spacious clean and comfortable I havenā€™t tried out the Elements restaurant as it was closed the whole time we were there, but the complimentary breakfast and meals were great

Thank you for everything Luse and West Valley City Embassy! Will definitely visit you againā¤ļø

Hotel amenities in the room are substandard Several of the light switches in our room didnā€™t work The TV in the main room didnā€™t work either

It turned on but only displayed ā€œPHILIPSā€ throughout our stay (3 nights) The sofabed was completely broken, kids had to sleep on the floor The saving grace for this place was that the hotel staff were extremely helpful and very customer oriented They offered us a second room, at no charge, but canā€™t accept having half the family sleep in a total separate floor & room We traveled with 2 minors I would stay at this place again if they updated/upgraded their room furnishings The view was awesome though šŸ˜€

Bad Room ExperienceI made a reservation a night before my wedding in March 2022 with my 2 kids so we can get ready the next day close to the reception I checked in at 1am, they were friendly Once we were going to bed the Bed sheets were yellow! Disgusting! I called front desk, they apologized and offer to give me another room in the same floor

My kids and I packed and moved We checked the Bed sheets before unpacking and same thing Yellow!I called front desk and they offer another room in the same floor again but this time the Front desk lady went to check the sheets and Yes Yellow again!!So front desk and the security went to get clean sheets, at this time it was 3am!! We had to be up at 6am to get ready for my wedding, we were super tired!!Front desk said they will discount my stay but unfortunately they didn’tVery disappointing to Pay this price for a suit and get a dirty bed! I just hate a night before my wedding me as the Bride and my little kids had to go through this so late In the nightAt least the Breakfast was good!
