I enjoyed a one night stay here before flying out on vacation The reason I gave 4 stars for the room All of the furniture was in need of dusting

Miss LaDonna was at the front desk as well as the the cocktail server that evening She had a beautiful personality and was very attentive to mine as well as other guests needsThe dinner and breakfast were both hot and satisfying The shuttle service runs 24 hours! Just let them know at least 10-15 min prior to your ready to depart This was a great place to stay and the price was reasonable for a one day notice

Everyone at this hotel was great! I was there for 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience If you’re traveling for business, during the week, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! The staff is wonderful, breakfast was good, free dinner at night was unexpected but great I could go on and on

I am very happy that my company has decided to have us stay in Drury hotels for my area Looking forward to my next time there! Thanks, everyone!

It was very unprofessional, we were there for 4 days for my bday We wake up get dressed, puts sheets and towels outside the door, saw housekeeping in the hallway as I was leaving, I said to myself perfect timing, they were cleaning rooms Saw other sheets, towels out on the floor as well

So I come back, sheets, towels were still sitting outside the door, I was LIVID 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Walk inside the room, they hadn’t even step foot in the room We didn’t have towels or ANYTHING!!! Call down stairs, she said when the night person come in he’ll bring it up, no one ever came, call down there around 10ish And asked was anyone gonna bring clean towels are sheets up, she said I’ll call and see what’s going on, they eventually brought it around 11:30 We will NEVER come back SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE

Brian Baker

Made our reservation almost 2 months ago only to get there to check in and find out that they didn’t have enough rooms Housekeeping didn’t have the rooms done at 5:00 pm and the front desk couldn’t or wouldn’t guarantee our reservation The place is now a Holiday Inn as well and the Holiday Inn is an Elimwood

Very poor way to run a business and almost 24 hours later we still haven’t received our refund I’d give it zero stars if that was an option

Jane McGowan

Our room was very humid The carpet was damp The bathtub did not drain while showering

The breakfast was good and offered a good selection The staff was very friendly and accommodating The hotel is close to many restaurants It is close to the airport We used the shuttle service twice It was very good We thought a lot of the GM being willing to drive the shuttle That is above and beyond Thank you!

I will preface this that the GM did reach out after I cancelled my reservation and refunded our roomI booked the room online and when we showed up, my first inclination was to immediately leave It was around 11:30 pm when we went to check-in

The exit arm for the parking lot was constantly up which was my first concern Then as I was attempting to check-in, a young mother had come back to the desk as the room she was assigned was not clean She had two exhausted kids and needed to sleep The gentleman helping her behind the desk responded “Our housekeeping sucks” To which the young woman helping me stated “I know I’ve been chewed out all day” We were assigned a room and before we went to the room, wanted some water bottles, to which the pantry had none I returned to the desk where everyone behind the counter were chugging water bottles She did bring a case of water from the back and give us twoAs we were walking to our room, I noticed many doors that were propped open by the lock bar and thought it was odd I then noticed all the trash in the halls, including a pile of sheets and trash outside one door, but we kept walking Two doors down from our room, four young men exited a room that was loud with many people and loud music I tried to enter our room and the keys didn’t work After seeing and hearing all that was going on, I decided to immediately leave I followed the four guys out, and we met a group of four young women who also looked like they were there to party The halls were a mess, it smelled of cannabis and I was done There were multiple groups of young people hanging in the halls and down by the conference area/pool It looked like party central for a Saturday nightHonestly, I’ve never seen a Marriott in this condition and lack of professionalism To have your front desk person tell two guests that your housekeeping “sucks” is an embarrassment to the hotel and brandWe left and were given a full refund

Rachel Davis

The rooms were Amazing the beds were so comfy And it is a pretty place, but if you are looking for a goods Nights sleep do not come here The room next to my father’s had dog in it that would not shut up

And when he called to complain they didn’t answer So he did not get good sleep And they’re breakfast is overly priced and okay Definitely not a hotel favorite

S Ramkissoon

Bit unimpressive for a Marriott to say the least First off, we booked a room with a king bed and when we got there, we were told we’d get two double beds, no offer to upgrade or anything, even though it was clear we were a couple and two people in a double bed isn’t always super comfortable

Bedsheets were very worn down, the fill in the comforter was completely bunched as shown in the picture (which they thankfully did change), reception didn’t really explain where the room was (a couple of other guests were also lost) or the situation with the parking and someone (housekeeping?) opened our room door at 9:00 am without knocking and we weren’t even scheduled to be checked out till the next day Only good thing is it’s close to the airport and the shuttle driver was very polite

The hotel was ok It could’ve been much cleaner The pool area smelled like mold

Our room was small but that was fine The housekeepers are likely over worked They only clean certain days of the week on certain floors I was able to borrow a vacuum and clean up for ourselves I always travel with Lysol wipes too- which I’m glad I did It’s too bad because there is a lot of potential of them being a great hotel The free breakfast was great every morning

Dawn Harris

I really really have to laugh at someone leaving a review about being allergic to dogs and complaining about how many dogs were at the hotel Why did you stay at a very very pet friendly hotel then? You don’t get to give any review if that’s the caseThis place is great! Keep up the good work

L C

Not very positive experience Stayed 2 nights Was given a room that has a loud rumbling noise, and when I sat on the sofa and put my feet down, I could feel the floor vibrating which is ridiculous

Called the front desk and they called back later saying it’s from the compressor and offered to change room My concern is that this should be a known issue and how could the room still be offered to a customer The room we got later is on the first floor which has a musty smell And I could hear water constantly dripping inside the wall, probably from the compressor What make things worse is that the second night I found a bug on the washroom floor, which looks like a silverfish I was not able to sleep that night at all, listening to water dripping and wondering whether there could be more bugs in the room By the way, the sink in the washroom and bath didn’t drain fast enough I would say that this hotel needs some serious maintenance Not sure how could it get the 44 star Breakfast was not bad though, as the others mentioned, a lot of options comparing to other Marriott hotel I stayed lately

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This website will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area

I have been coming here for years If you choose this place you won’t regret itWe were in town for a musical at The Fabulous Fox and decided to stay in the loop because we wanted to shop We were not disappointed! The Moonrise Hotel was quirky, comfortable, friendly, clean, and easily navigated The restaurant, The Eclipse, had a great bar where we enjoyed a few drinks after the show, and Sunday morning we had brunch there It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, and very reasonable Especially good were their pancakes, believe it or not They were made from scratch and had wonderful flavor If you stay at the Moonrise, be sure and eat in their restaurant The roof terrace bar was reserved for an engagement party, so that’s on our list for next time Parking was a bit of a concern because we had been told they were short-staffed and so didn’t have valet, but the parking lot was close by, easily accessible, and safe with a security guard We are usual patrons of the Chase Park Plaza, but we have decided the Moonrise is our new place to stay when we are in St Louis

Anthony Thomas

A unique hotel!Check in was really easy Justin at the front desk was great Friendly and offered recommendations around the city when it came to sights and restaurants

Everyone else we came into contact with was nice as wellThe room was clean with a view of the main street Bed was comfortable, with lots of layers Artwork was just as cool as in the lobby Coffee maker was the typical “hotel coffee maker”, but we brought our own Room had a ton of outlets, which was perfect for all the electronic devices, but didn’t have USB portsParking in the rear of the building seemed a little sketchy, but we didn’t have any problemsOverall a very nice hotel!

Thomas Maner

Me and my significant other stayed here after seeing a Hanson concert next door Very nice hotel! Our room was bigger then my apartment, the bed was comfy, the shower was amazing, and the staff was super friendly The restaurant was closed the day we were leaving but the complimentary danishes were good and the coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel! I defiantly recommend this if you need a place to stay in St

Louis

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic pillows Thermostat is on the wall and adjustable via central air Refrigerator, microwave

Desk with chair for comfortable work space and a sitting chairBrandy adjusted our rate when we casually mentioned we picked hotel because of its close location to the hospital We really appreciate the reduced rate since our expenses for medical trip was costly with current gas pricesDee and Elizabeth were awesome during the evening appetizer and snacks that were available Each made sure that everything was stocked and available while smiling the entire timeWe enjoyed the pool and hot tub It was nice to have extra towels in the pool areaIt’s been quite sometime that I’ve been to a hotel where everything was perfect from check-in to check-out What a great team of employees who seem to enjoy doing their jobs and making guests feel important

We typically choose to stay at Drury In when we travel They always have a great breakfast selection plus, the evening kickbacks We stayed at this one with my daughter volleyball team as we were playing in a tournament downtown

The hotel was obviously completely sold out but we still had great service Check in was smooth quick as always and our room was clean and nice We weren’t able to enjoy kickbacks until our second night The dining area was packed The staff and Manger worked quickly to clean tables off and make sure food was out There were several groups staying there and a lot of groups were just staying to visit after eating The Manger quickly offered to open up to conference rooms for everyone to go into after eating so others could still eatThe one bat tender I didn’t get her name was so personable She talked and made jokes with everyone as she made drinks This Drury In went above and beyond for its guest Great staff!

Floor tile and sync was stained, see picturesWalls pretty thin, could hear other toilets flushing and people walking aboveWe had a 2 night stay booked but decided to only stay a night and take a loss on the 2nd nightThe rooms clearly show their ageOn the positive side:The free breakfast looked good, but didn’t have enough time to sit down and try it outPool wasn’t super clean but the indoor/ outdoor design was funFront desk employees very friendlyCheap parking

Far as the hotel goes its pretty decent All the rooms are suites very much spacious Front desk they are helpful, although a few can learn how to talk to guests

They have a year-round indoor/outdoor pool The lobby, common areas, and in general are well managed and clean The casino is huge, beautiful design, various slot machines and tables Staff are always visible and willing to assist

Wesley Gordon

Did a staycation with my daughter and her fiance We rented two rooms Both were very nice

One face the downtown area and all the lights and the other face the river which was nice as well The rooms are very big and spacious Showers are really nice My only negative would be they don’t have a sort of gift shop or place to get things like soda or chips They also don’t have ice machines and vending machines on the floors like most places I assume that’s to encourage you to eat at the restaurants The staff was kind to us to get the rooms close together A little pricey at about $200 per night after the local taxes Would definitely recommend

Larrann Pippin

We purchased a room for 2 nights Mind you we have 2 young children that tagged along We have been to this hotel more times than we can count and have always had an amazing time

We checked in this time and got situated in our lovely room when the kids asked to go swimming We all got ready and went down to find that the pool closes at 6PM for anyone under 21! I asked if this was an everyday occurrence and the lady went on to reply yes Never have I ever heard of such a rule before As I stated earlier we have been numerous times before We were very disappointed especially when we couldn’t even check in until 4 We pay a pretty penny to come here but it makes it all worth it to let the kids enjoy the awesome pool Little to say the hotel definitely lowered their family friendly atmosphere a notch by making this change

I cant express enough how comfortable and accommodating this hotel is! Bryan and every other staff member I encountered was very sweet and helpful I am impressed by the continental breakfast as well I was shocked to see that they had turkey sausage as an option

Most continentals I’ve experienced only offer pork for breakfast The bed was so comfortable I almost didn’t want to leave! I will absolutely revisit as well as recommend to others! Keep up the great work!

Alex Demas

We stayed a couple of nights here while visiting St Louis Staying out by the airport was not an issue, driving-wise, and the much better price made it worth it

The room was spacious and comfortable The beds were clean and soft, there were plenty of outlets for a family of 4, the furniture was clean and in good condition The bathroom was clean and everything worked wellBreakfast was well made and the guy running it was fantastic, really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care ofThe only downsides were the internet wasn’t very good and the walls were quite thin, so the Olympic track and field competition being held in the room above ours was quite distracting

Jenny Brock

Good for just a quick place to sleep but it was also the most expensive choice if that’s the only goal For less there was a Hilton and something called Renaissance that looked much betterBiggest grip was room cleanliness

Obvious stains on the furniture, floors and walls Some looked really suspicious 🤮Furniture/chair and ottoman were old and the faux leather was peelingA/C sounded like a tornado alarm (just not as loud, but same EXACT sound) when it was turned onIf you’re going to spend the money, I would say go elsewhere We had a last minute flight delay and I booked IHG b/c I’m a member and love their chain This hotel just isn’t up to par

Second time to stay at a Drury and I love it They truly sell themselves short when they say have a snack at the 5:30 kickback, it’s a full dinner complete with drinks The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, you got the feeling that they were just looking to find ways to serve you

Great experience Rooms were nice and clean From now on I will look Drury first when needing a hotel

Lyann Pace

The hotel is new and looks nice The rooms are decent and we booked last minute since we were house hunting and came up spur of the minute to see and put an offer on a house For a room that was almost $400 a night, I expected a little more and a shower that actually drains

I don’t take long showers but the water didn’t drain as quickly as it was coming out of the shower head so I was standing in water the entire time I was considering a Drury for my wedding guests but I am looking for alternative options The breakfast and happy hour drinks don’t offset the experience to me, especially since I don’t drink

Trisch V

Although a typical Drury experience including evening happy hour and morning breakfast, the service and friendliness of everyone from the bartender to the management during happy hour were above reproach! The hotel is conveniently located to a beautiful outdoor shopping and restaurant area Even though located right next to the interstate, it was only noticeable when in the parking lot Room was clean and spacious

Really enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel The staff were all friendly and helpful! The breakfast selection was surprisingly large and the eggs were actually decent The lady in charge of the breakfast room was sweet and efficient in keeping everything stocked

The rooms had just a little extra width that made them feel more spacious I would definitely stay here again!

Doug Reed

It’s not the Ritz Rooms are decent and clean On the old side, you can see some wear in the bathroom but nothing awful

Nothing special but we were not there to stay in our room! Breakfast was really good Chef knows how to make really good scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon, good for folks looking for low carb Lots of other options Older woman who was there kept the area clean and made sure food was hot (if it needed to be) and replaced things that ran out Coffee is good, which is a shock for a hotel

Phillip

To be fair this wasn’t the staffs fault We had driven through a storm to make a layer check-in When my family entered the lobby we were greeted with countless buckets, bus tubs, laundry bins and trash cans strung out throughout the lobby to catch MASSIVE leaks in the ceiling

The word Atlantis comes to mind, minus the lost wonder and excitement of exploring ruins! The flood had more than a puddle to it and to top it all off the elevator had a construction sign on it To be fair, they limited construction from 11a-4p, but still it was there and happening It was late, we were tired, and in no mood to find something else so we checked in and went to our room It didn’t get better The room was dark and extremely humid, like hard to breath/swimming in your skin humid The floor had a huge red stain on the carpet between the beds, the refrigerator was spacious but had rust at the back, the toilet seat and handle were broken and the bathroom had what looked to be mold and rust growing in the corner(see pic you decide) If we weren’t literally about to drop from exhaustion we would’ve checked right back out! But we stayed the night, and promptly relocated the next day Might be better after renovation is finishedprobably not

The staff here were just wonderful—the receptionist on the night of 1/31 was amazing, I was too tired to catch his name but he was wonderful Knew just how to streamline everything and was very competent and kind The shuttle drivers were so nice as well

My room and the lobby were very clean The hotel had availability at short notice in the late evening for a reasonable price, and it was just a short, complimentary shuttle ride to and from the airport Only stayed for one night but would not hesitate to return!

We stayed for one night while traveling for a softball tournament Our thing is good price, safe area, clean property, and hot waterAs for price it was more than we had been spending this summer but it was very competitive for the area

The one gotcha is the 25 dollars in taxes for the one nightAs for safe area it was alright The area definitely is not as nice as it used It is just before the neighborhoods start One nice thing is it sandwiched between another hotel and restaurantThe property was clean but it is an older hotel Lobby and breakfast area was nice Somewhat limited seating in the breakfast area Our room was clean The AC did have a bit of musty smell It had just rained quite a bit so it was fairly humid and the AC was working fairly hardDefinitely had hot water and plenty of it Our room also had a microwave and mini fridge Ice machines on each floorThe front desk staff was very friendlySince this is a Drury property its really hard to beat with the breakfast, popcorn and soda The breakfast was somewhat limited but when you add in what it would have cost for 3 people to go out and grab breakfast its not terribleOverall we would stay at the property again

Loved Catherine at breakfast, she was kind to my children and attentive and on top of it They had a popcorn machine for special socials but weren’t able to make those Fridge froze our food but did not keep frozen our ice cream🤔 The rooms were clean and comfortable, I like the closet space

Would have used the pool if we weren’t busy traveling It’s in walking distance from Bandanas BBQ which we tried Would recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay near St Louis

We had a very pleasant stay at the Comfort Suites The staff was VERY friendly and helpful When I made my reservation for the wrong days, they were quick to change it

When we asked to checkout at noon, they said yes All without any additional charges We did mention that it smelled of smoke, but the front desk reported it accordingly so we wouldn’t get charged the cleaning fee The room was nice for 4 people, especially with the little living room area Breakfast tasted great and I appreciated the hours of it being open We got everything we needed for only $100 Thank you Comfort Suites!

Travelers beware!!!Reservation was made March 2022 for one night June 3-4, 2022 Just got a call today that our reservation will be canceled due to a busted water pipe Really???So you cannot get a busted water pipe fixed in a 2 week span? This is what I think

I think you over booked the hotel due to a concert being held close by, so you are canceling any reservation that got a good rate Now you can rent my room to someone that booked a 2 night stay or was paying more than I wasVery poor way to do businessNever again Comfort SuitesPS: I had a room booked in a hotel several years ago and a pipe burst Guess what happened That hotel booked me a room at another hotel that was actually nicer than the one I actually had booked Guess what it cost me for the week at the hotel with no water pipe burst?$000ZeroNothingYepThe hotel with the busted pipe paid for my room at the new placeNow that is how you do business Comfort Suites

Stayed here over the weekend for 2 nights and was horrible First off checking in there was 3 ladies up front 2 I believe was in training and they were nice, but the lady training them or the manager was super snippy with them and treated them like children

I was uncomfortable standing there being checked in Next our room was barely cleaned There were toenail clippings on the floor, hair, and could definitely tell that the room was not vacuumed The showerhead in the bathroom broke on us 3-4 times in 2 days My husband had to go to the front desk when we first got there and ask for a screwdriver to fix it It was not a good experience, and I definitely wouldn’t stay here again For $165 a night I expected so much more Definitely overpriced and out of date

We were traveling and wanted a park and fly Upon initial contact with the hotel, my husband was told parking would be free up to 9days When we got there we were informed it would be $10 per night

While awaiting our check in Someone came from the pool asking about lighting (9pm) they were told there is none It’s all natural 😆 🤣 then once we got to our room the remote wouldn’t work 3 remotes later it finally worked The gentleman at the desk literally brought it to us the last time Drinks in the bar were $8 each The toilet also didnt flush correctly Staff was very nice and hospitable but that’s about the only good thing we experienced here We will not be back

Rogen Nabors

When I arrived I was given a room quickly and efficiently Thats about it The front hallways are not mopped and there are fingerprints on the windows

The room smelled like sewage along with the hallways The TV, mirrors, etc had been wiped down with wet rags so you could see a filmy residueI requested a different room and it smelled like rotten eggs and urine by the end table next to the bed The phone looked burned, end tables dirty and tub had mold (Pics provided)The hotel advertises that it has a restaurant but it was closed downI was moved to a third room and everything seemed fine until I opened the closet There were dirty, wet towels hanging that were left by the previous guest (Pic provided)I called the front desk and asked if the staff here were on Crack? He said no, of course🤥It was late so I decided to stay and also there were no other hotels in the area that were any nicer I’m glad my company paid for this

Zach Mayberry

Photos online and the 40/5 rating are very deceiving Hotel rooms are much more run down than you’d think

When we arrived, the toilet was filthy and covered in feces We had to call the front desk to get it cleaned, which they did very promptly Later, we realized why this happened as the toilet stopped flushing properly and water kept backing up in the bowl Everything else was fine but as a whole, the hotel probably needs a renovation soon

Spent one night with my family Easily fit four adults and a child in one room We had the child on an air mattress

The room was SO clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly and professional The pool was clean, the location seemed safe and secure, and we enjoyed our night there very much The bathroom was very roomy and accommodating for our different bags and items Breakfast had a nice variety, and was tasty enough as far as free breakfasts go We would absolutely stay here again if in the area but we’re just passing through
