Place is dated and the room isn’t perfect We didn’t have hot water in the morning Possibly due to everyone running their showers at the same time

That’s what I was told by front desk It was my first time experiencing this in a hotel Due to the hotel being packed, they can’t move us to another roomThe bathroom has stain and the ceiling paint bubbles up and peelingThey didn’t properly stock up on towels in the pool area Had to asked for it twice each timeThe down blanket leaked feather all over We woke up with little white feather all over our clothes and the carpetBut I’ll give props to the staffs for customer service though At least they really try and did what they can to keep everyone happy and comfortable

This place is in a really good location not far from the highway, and with a grocery store and a mall right around the corner So the area has a lot to offer I wouldn’t say there were any surprises in terms of the room itself

It was nicely appointed and comfortable The breakfast however was spectacular and well worth the money (it wasn’t free) and I only interacted with two staff members, but they were both very nice and extremely helpful despite how busy they were

My mom and I have stayed at this location twice, once in 2019 and again just a few weeks ago We were attending an event in the area near the airport, but choose to stay a bit further out For both stays we were able to spend each night sitting out in the lobby with our friends, chatting, enjoying drinks and catching up

We appreciate being able to take advantage of the large quiet sitting area and conference tableThe guest rooms are always clean and have high ceilings, and aren’t overstuffed with furniture, but there’s still plenty of room for two of us to spread out We didn’t have to schedule any housekeeping because we preferred privacy, but were able to acquire any supplies we needed with ease They also took note of our first floor request and were able to put the same hallway as our friends, a convenience that can’t be overlooked! The desk staff is always so courteous and accommodating I can’t remember the night manager’s name, but he was helpful and funny when giving us the extra coffee and supplies for the morning, including some extra decaf to “surprise” my mom with :)Overall we always enjoy our stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Schaumburg and we plan on returning in 2023 for next year’s event!

Clean and easily accessible Nice person at the desk Check in was painless

Some things that underwhelmed me:1 No hot tub2 Hotels should start charging people children fees because they can make just as much if not more of a mess than a single middle aged dog3 Uncomfortable pillows4 They charge for breakfast What kind of soul-less place is this?

My husband and I had our multi-day Hindu wedding at the Westin Aileen was our point of contact and was great to work with! Everything went so smoothlyThe guest rooms and suites were very spacious

Unfortunately, about 50% of our guest’s rooms lost AC on Thursday and Friday, which was not ideal However, the Westin was able to give us a 50% refund on those nights which was appreciatedThe Westin was a fantastic venue for our South Asian wedding, their staff is knowledgeable and professional

Nice suburban location about 20 minutes from the O’Hare airport Most of the eateries in the hotel are closed, I’m sure as a result of the pandemic The bistro has decent selections

Coffee shop offers standard fare Workers aren’t super helpful I ordered a coffee and fruit for almost $14 on two days No one told me they offered a combo that included the coffee, fruit, and a bagel/muffin for $8 (upgrade to specialty coffee option for like $2) I should have taken the time to read through everything but in the chaos of early morning rush, I try not to hold up the line I’ll know for return trips The hotel room I was in was OK Bed comfy Towels were a bit dingy Carpet shows signs of wear I also assume it is the byproduct of less workers due to the pandemic No daily housekeeping but that’s standard for the current times You can order service requests through the app Location is close to my office so I’m sure I’ll be returning

Sara DePew

Whenever I need to stay near Chicago, this is the hotel I choose I appreciate the quiet of the area (even with the airport nearby) and the restaurant has the best hotel breakfast The staff is friendly and helpful and there is free parking; I have always felt safe here, and have never had an issue with my vehicle

There is usually a robe in the bathroom, which is helpful to use if you are going swimming in the fitness center’s pool

First thing to welcome you is caution tape and remodeling, then a blue sign stating the pool and hot tub are out of service, and that it’s posted on all websites It was not As you can see in the photos the room was not the cleanest with either blood or ketchup on the walls

Looks like there was a leak at some point in time as well as the mold in a few different places There were several other things like patched up holes in the wall or how it looked like an animal was trying to eat it’s way out of the bathroom door and so on see the pics provided You can see stained or un washed towels and stained bedding Beds were surprisingly comfortable even after all the above Worst thing is it seemed to have a restrictor or regulators on the AC cause the room would not get colder than 74 and there was a really loud fan between the room and the main sitting areaLooked to be missing furniture and the items there were a bit beaten up with good sized holes in themThe guy a that came to the front desk looked extremely tired so much so he looked higher than a kite That was after waiting about 20 minutes for anyone to even get to the front deskBreakfast was a bit of a joke but what can you truly expect I guess Overall not a very good stay by any stretch of the mind but a great location and close to where we had to be for events

Steven Spenner

After walking into the lobby I instantly saw filthy carpets Most hotels smell “clean”, not this one thoughThe pool was closed, even though their website says nothing about it

My room stunk like an ashtray The sheets had some crumbs and stray hairs on them I was considering sleeping in my vehicleWorst hotel I’ve ever stayed in You couldn’t pay me to go back Hope this review saves other people from this same experience

Jen Noonan

10/10 would not recommend anyone using this hotel for a block for a near by wedding The people at the front desk were rude and on the phone for personal reasons while checking in guests There was awful food for breakfast

They did not have appropriate staffing for that many rooms being filled If I could give negative stars that’s what I would be rating it

For me, I’m happy with the hotel I grab a coffee in the morning but that’s about it I don’t eat anything (or haven’t yet) or partaken in any happy hour (yet) but that’s mostly because I work in the evenings or go out with coworkers for dinner

Mornings are early to work so it’s coffee for the road and coffee at the office Ha ha ha Sooo many places to eat and some really outstanding places if you know someone who knows something about the area

Emily C

Great little room It was a good size for one person, but not really for two The only complaints I have were the coffee maker splattered everywhere when brewing and it was a huge mess; also the mini fridge wouldnt even hold my left overs from the night before, and there was no microwave to warm them in the room

Seems like a nice place but the little touches seem to be lacking slightly

Stephen Foster

Recently renovated and the renovation was done very well! The AC worked well and the shower had good hot and cold water Perfect location to many restaurants in walking distance The staff was very accommodating and helpful with everything

The hotel has a very good sized conference room that could easily handle 20-25 people I’ll definitely book here again when I come back

We left a dirty hotel room and came here Rob at the front desk was an absolute angel, he listened to me vent after a long day of travel and losing my credit card at the dirty hotel He was so kind and helpful, Hilton this man deserves a bonus! He even gave my kids some bags of snacks since we had such a rough day

This hotel is very clean, comfortable, and the staff is amazing Don’t waste your time trying any other hotels

Jenn Soderblom

We stayed at this hotel for a “Stay and play” youth hockey tournament The hotel was more than able to accommodate us and did so well The check in and check out process was quick and easy using the Hilton app

They didn’t seem to mind the many kids in and out On Friday night we had pizza brought in and they allowed us to eat in the lobby and gave us the conference room to use The staff was very nice and always willing to help The only reason this is no a 5 star review is the breakfast It was awful!

Ross S

This was my first stay at this Hilton location, As I am not local to the area However, I wanted to give special recognition to Graciela at the front desk I had a moderate inconvenience, and She took care of everything

Let’s face it, there are so many hotels we can stay at In this day and age, but she and her team put people first Outstanding job Hilton! Highly recommended

This Comfort Suites is run down but they are doing their best There is no breakfast to speak but the staff is friendly During the week it is a nice quite place but on the weekends this hotel is hopping

Loud parties, cigarette and marijuana smoke and lots of people running around If you want to relive your college days I highly recommend booking a weekend stay here

Hannah Jones

NOT for groups!!!We were promised a meeting space with our group, and this was a deciding factor in choosing the hotel However, upon arrival we were told that the new owners do not rent out the room or that it would be $300 (which is a drastic overprice, the room was not good quality other than having tables and chairs) The only bright spot was the evening employee who listened to us and helped us work out something for our group of students

I would NOT recommend this hotel for groups, especially if you are looking to have space to be together The new management is horrible, and clearly they don’t value groups We were also scolded for a noise complaint that was not even our students I would never come back

We had a great getaway With me being so busy I wanted to show my man that I appreciate him, this location was the BEST We had a whirlpool suite that was amazing

The fireplace was perfectly next to the window that had a great winter breeze Jacuzzi was amazing and deep enough for the both of us The staff were wonderful so polite, friendly and greeted us each time we came through the door I would definitely come back Only thing was upon checking out I found a shoe and other items under the bed from previous people

Stacey Johnson

Everything about my stay was 5 star Hotel was clean, facility, smells clean, check-in was smooth, pool and hot tub were up and running Hot tub was heaven

Happy hour, good breakfast Debbie was so sweet and polite I am definitely coming back Bonus for me were the signs about quiet time and what time its enforced Ive stayed at some hotels where guests and or children of guests had 0 consideration for other guests when it came to noise This will be a monthly weekend getaway staycation for me

Melissa Cardoza

Me and my boyfriend stayed one night, we enjoyed the room perfect for a small getaway the bed was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were okay breakfast was good we were satisfied with what they offered lots to choose from, now to why the three stars so around 11:40 (check out is at 12) we decided to finally get up and start grabbing our stuff I had accidentally spilled some coffee on my shirt so I was in the middle of changing when we heard the softest knock on the door and before I could even respond a cleaning lady presumes to open our door I was livid Check out is at 12 why the hell is someone barging in at 11:40!? So I go to the front desk with my frustration and the lady giggles it off and says oh I’ll talk to them

This place isn’t cheap by any means and the lack of customer service really irritated me I was in the middle of changing when a worker seemed it was alright to not even give us a second to respond to her knock before letting herself in We’ll be taking our business elsewhere our next couples getaway

Wish we were there more than one night- the room was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff were so pleasant and nice- the front desk staff, the cleaning staff and especially the gentleman over the breakfast They even had Turkey sausage which was an A+ in our book because my husband doesn’t eat beef or pork The breakfast choices were PLENTIFUL, not skimpy like some other hotels we’ve been to during Covid

The price was also great compared to other hotels in the area Thank you so much for allowing us to be comfortable away from home Love from Ohio!!!

Kimber Ly

I had the best experience!! Was here for a bowling tournament and the staff was beyond exceptional We drove 10hrs overnight and arrived way sooner than we expected The staff was gracious enough to hurry and get a room ready so we could check in early

The breakfast was pretty good, they have all the staples so even the picky eaters should find something they like I will definitely come back if I visit IL again

Latoya Reed

The breakfast was not much of a variety to choose from There was no fruit for a healthier choice I wish the hotel offered turkey or chicken patties for people who don’t eat or can’t eat pork

The eggs with cheese was cold and horrible The pool was dirty, the only thing good about my stay was that my room was clean I have visited other Hampton hotels but this particular one really was a disappointment, I will not stay here again

I had a wonderful experience at Eaglewood Resort The amenities at the spa were wonderful and I had excellent stone message I highly recommend it

But know there is other fun things to do on the resort’s campus If you play golf, from Spring through fall you will enjoy their beautiful golf course The food is delicious; the service personnel are kind, considerate and friendlyI’m going again during the spring summer or fall because the landscape is gorgeous Go and have a chill out Eaglewood is a place to chill

Chris Lucas

Great place to stay! The only reason for four stars on the room is that we thought we were getting a view of the golf course not the parking lot Otherwise, the staff were great and the whole resort is beautiful We were close to everything that we wanted to do, while still having the feeling of being in the country! I would very much recommend a stay here!

Laura Nguyen

Booked a entire week here and very pleased with my stay Ever since Covid started we continue to travel at least 9 different states During those 9 trips we had to be extremely picky where we book our stay just you want to stay somewhere you know for a fact will be clean

Our usually booking have been through Airbnb which has been a failed We are talking about even around $500 a night for a house or condo you expect it to be clean and that hasn’t been at all for us We seem to still get very nice properties that end up still being dirty Clean to the eye , but not deep clean So we started looking into resorts and very pleased with my experience here With kids and the more money you spend for the best should be clean not just looks clean Anyways this resort exceed my expectations from the comfort of the bed to replacing new towels to calling down stars for a coffee machine They take care of you on the spot Hubby booked here for the golf and the kids had a great time at the playground and pool The view of the golf ground on our balcony was breathtaking every morning The family had a great time here and since being here for a week due to my surgery it just made it comfortable overall Again Very thankful for giving me a worry free experience about how clean our stay was Worth the value and definitely come back in the near future!

They went above and beyond for myself and my daughter regarding our stay I haven’t had such great customer service on quite some time! Room had older type decor, yet was very clean and well maintained Shower pressure was amazing Pleased with the soft-close toilet seats & soft-close shower doors

Used both, key card and mobile phone key, without any problems Heater kept us warm The fridge kept our drinks and food cold Our stay was short, so we were not affected by the fact that there aren’t any microwave in the rooms Due to COVID, housekeeping is not automatic, despite requesting the service, no one ever came Overall, we enjoyed our stay, would recommend to friends & family If we’re ever in this area again, we would definitely come back

Jordan Syrowik

Had everything you would expect from a moderately priced hotel Bathrooms were up to date with modern tile and shower Mattress was a little firm, and the room decor was quite dated

Per usual with hotels the air conditioning kept changing back to 72, which kept the room a little stuffyIn all, great place There is a Starbucks as well as a non-included breakfast buffet

Tushar Rao

My room 721 was used by someone else when I was away, and the whole bathroom was dirtied When I showed this to the staff I was given a simple answer “we don’t know” without any concern or apology There was a camera right outside the room door and the staff promised that they will look at the footage and have a manager call me back

Been 4 days, no call and no follow-up Avoid this property if you value your safety and belongings and absolutely avoid ROOM 721

Beautiful, clean hotel Plenty of parking Staff were nice, and efficient

My room was clean and had plenty of nice extras, like soap, shampoo, conditioner in the shower, soap and lotion next to the bathroom sink, a keurig with coffee and tea, etc Would have liked some hot chocolate since I don’t drink coffee, but that’s just a suggestion Bed was comfy My only complaint (which isn’t the hotels fault) is that people let their kids run up and down the halls and be loud It would be nice if the check-in staff could mention to parents to please make their kids be respectful of other people Other than that, my stay was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again!

Our first time here Friendly front desk staff Our room was amazingly clean! Pool was titanic cold but we asked the front desk to turn on the heaters and they did

Hot tub was amazing! They did charge a $50 fee which stinks I did notice MOLD on the heater/air conditioner Morning breakfast was not too bad But over all we would definitely come back!

This is one of the worst hotel experiences that I have ever had The staff was pretty friendly upon check-in, but it went downhill from there We needed a place to sleep for my son’s wedding

Nothing extravagant because we were so busy Every time we returned to our room it smelled like smoke, very distinct smell that resembled drug use The response from the front desk was, “That’s weird” On the second night, our car was broken into Nothing was stolen, but that was the final straw We decided not to stay the last night of our reservation Since we prepaid, they refused to refund the final night’s stay I would not recommend at all There are much better places to stay that are very helpful, friendly, and sympathetic

10/10 *claps*The lady at the front desk, provided the best customer serviceWe were a family of 4, and we reached the hotel well before the checkin timings as out flight landed at 7The lady guided us to lodge the luggage and wait for sometime

And to our surprise, as soon as the room was ready, she checked us in! We also received a room upgradeThis woman was an angel in disguise I can’t recall her name, but I remember she wore specs had black hair and was youngTheir breakfast menu included everything essential Omelettes, waffles, and breads were super good and deliciousThe place is at a very optimum location- bus service is nearby There is a supermarket and Dunkin at walking distance too

I stayed here back in September for an event in the area As soon as I walked in, guest service was kind! Very generous They gave me my key with no hassle, gave me my room number, and sent me on my way

I got up to my room and opened the door, and I heard the voice of a grown man shouting in dismay at the door opening, and I could hear the shower running I was given a room that had a grown man in it who was showering I rushed back down to the front desk and explained it to them, and they seemed confused It turns out that the room had been given to someone, but it wasn’t logged into their system that it had occurred They gave me a new room that was the same as what I had requested, and they walked me to it to make sure that no one was thereI get nervous thinking about that scenario I was all alone, I’m a young woman, I’m very small- Had it been the other way around of a man walking into my hotel room while I was showering, I’m unsure on how the situation would’ve gone Guest service was kind, but I hope that after these months, they have themselves better put together I didn’t feel safe there after that and I had left my luggage in front of the door to prevent anyone from entering the room if the door lock failed I hope others have had better experiences than I have

Check in was fine Friendly & courteous customer service Easy on & off the highway

Place is very clean! The restaurant off the front lobby was great! Nice bar to wet the whistle The food was hit/miss Another table had sandwiches and they all were stating “hit the spot”my entree not-so-much Grilled chicken was delicious but the veggies seem very “BLAH” (Againhit/miss with food)Room was clean and decentMy shower is a death trap!!! Slippery surface even before soap hit the floor (It’s in their best interest to get that changedit’s a lawsuit waiting to happen!)Shower head is too small to be hanging from the ceilingnot getting the right balance with water distribution (need larger head for the effect you’re wanting to give off) And the half glass wall allowed me to soak the bathroom as I was trying not to fall in the shower (no joke)!!!And for truck driversthis location is starting to break away from us parking here on lot That back drive into Extended Stay that loops into Holiday Inn is NOT TRUCK FRIENDLY (EXTREMELY LOW TREE BRANCHEStrust meI “know”!

Here is a list of all my issues

For the room I purchased online I was told the price was wrong and was charged an extra 50 dollars No towels in room, no soap in room, trash cans still had trash in them No microwave Place charges for breakfast with outrages prices! Staff was nice but quality of stay is poor I don’t recommend anyone to check into this place for the price they charge was not worth it You get better perks at a roach motel!
