I am truly blessed to have meet such amazing people at this hotel in Archdale NC From the sweet lady checking me in, the housekeeping lady on the 4th floor, the lady that was here when I return back to the hotel There is not one staff member I meet that was not absolutely amazing

They were all very kind!! The cleanliness of the hotel was also immaculate I will always use this hotel in the future!!

One of the best Hampton inns Rooms are way above standard economy level breakfast, wifi included hotels Staff incredibly friendly

Not the greatest location but certainly good

This was my first time staying here about 2 weeks ago I’m sorry for the late review, but my experience was memorable! I mostly rated them a 5 because the customer service was amazing! Hospitality at it’s best!! If my memory serves me correctly, both Jennifer and Toni, were extremely helpful and I felt appreciated The room was breathtaking

I loved it! I had a wonderful sleep The only thing that really bothered me was the housekeeping lady kept knocking on my door asking about my departure time I asked for a 2pm checkout time and I was out maybe an hour earlier I feel like my time should have been communicated and no one should have knocked on my door or tried to open it I felt rushed to leave, and I did not enjoy my last hour Lastly, I would have loved for the Bistro to have better hours or more availability Still, I will return

Erica Jo Byers Pelton

We stopped and stayed here on the way to Myrtle Beach The hotel is modern and the rooms are spacious I am in a power wheelchair so it was nice to have a large room and a large bathroom with a nice roll in shower

Toni was very helpful with our check-in and answering any questions that we had They have plenty of areas to relax They have a beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating along with seating on the inside of the hotel The only downside of this hotel is that there is no breakfast It is made to order and it is a little on the pricey side However, we had a great experience and would definitely return

Kellsey Galart

We stopped on a trip home and paid $310 for one night Pool is not open, room has duct tape holding together the trim in some areas, beds are super soft so not sure how well we will sleep Thought about leaving but would be pit the $ for the room and have to pay for another room

plus got to pay for breakfast? What am I paying over 300 for amenity wise?Update: My 4 year old pulled a Jack Daniel’s bottle and boarding pass out of the couch/pull out bed, pulled back the bedding on one of the beds only for it to be dirty, and beds were terrible! Not just soft but broken down and needing replaced They did take some off the bill but honestly worst hotel stay we have ever had

I’m in the middle When we arrived in our room we had to request for someone to come fix the ac We waited an hour while it was being fixed

The handle on one of the dressers fell completely off when we opened it to put our things away There was some shotty electrical work on the bathroom ceiling I found several spots of mold in the bathroom Myself and my children are asthmatic I was told there was nothing they could do that evening and to let someone know in the morning I spoke with Vivian the next morning She said there was no room to move us, she would send someone to take care of the “organic growth” and would comp one night When I checked out the front desk told me that they had no record that I made this complaint I showed pictures of the mold, the lady at the front desk took my phone back and forth to show the manager the pictures I took and said they were too busy to come out for a moment because they were doing payroll This went on for 30 minutes At this point I was frustrated because it seemed like they were trying to make me prove something although I had already spoken with two representatives They finally agreed to comp one night After going through all of this I told them that I believe two nights would be a better option for compensation The manager offered me points in lieu of one of the two nights and I refused They finally honored my request for two nights Additionally, the pool was filthy The bottom was brown I was there for a family reunion I gave them a three because, although reluctant, they did compensate me for the issues encountered

Karla Murphy

When you walk in the door the chlorine smell from the pool is so strong, carpets were dirty, and staff unwelcoming When I arrived to my room it smelled musty and the smoke detector was missing off the wall I took a picture and went to speak to the guy (Chris) at the front desk

I showed him the picture of my room and told him my issues His response was “it will be fine as long as you’re not smoking nothing is going to happen “ I asked to be moved to another room, given a discount, free night stay or something He again smirked and said I can have someone look into it tomorrow Well I am moving my daughter into her dorm in the morning I just drove hours to get here and this is the accommodations of this Hilton establishment?! We always book (Hilton) properties and this by far has been the worst I will NOT be returning to this hotel

Latonia Thomas

Some of the staff were not welcoming There was a Caucasian lady working the front desk on 3/13/22 morning around 6:40 AM As my Aunt and I walked to the front of the lobby, she just stared at us with a nasty facial expression and she watched our every move

As my aunt and I purchased something to drink, I asked her if we could get some cereal and a banana She very rudely stated that only if you are member Her tone of voice was very disrespectful and I didn’t like the way she made us feel! She treated us like we didn’t belong there and she made us feel like we were trespassing When we made it back to our rooms, I couldn’t go back to sleep because I kept thinking about how we were treated I decided to write this review to express my thoughts Based off of this, I will never stay at this location EVER again I regret purchasing a room here I didn’t travel over 200 miles for my family and I to get treated like we don’t belong To any future guest that stays at this location, please be aware of the profiling that comes along with your stay

Was only able to stay here one night (sadly) and it was amazing I was in town for an event at the country club and check in was fast and pleasurable Both the young man and young lady at the desk were nice and the young woman actually went to her car to get me a charger I could use because I forgot mine! Clean, upscale, and affordable

Also they had a great Breakfast which was included–hadn’t known about this!

Red Shoes

Rooms were nice with antiques furniture so it was quaint Room was quiet so easy to sleep and bed was comfy Workers are very nice

Ice machines would have been helpful over asking reception all the time Better selection at Grey’s Restaurant would be nice and add some actual cheese to the burgersNot everyone is into spicy food and southern food so choices were limited

Jamison Lackey

Room 33 is next to the elevator and there is no sound dampening The table in my room is busted and propped up against the wall The shower sprays water everywhere except down

The TV is a postage stamp Rooms are not inexpensive $1,000 for 4 nights so I would expect better Restaurant has spotty, odd service and ignored me for 20 minutes until I just left and went to another place down the road This was a disappointing stay I stay in High Point a lot for work but I won’t be staying here next time

Upon arrival, the person working at the front desk did not bother to even look up She was counting and activating door cards I introduced myself and stated that a room had been reserved in my name

Her first comment to me was that check in wasn’t until 3pm I explained that I had traveled a long distance( almost 8 hrs) and it was a little after 2pm, and that I had a family member admitted to a local hospital I stated I was hoping to be able to check in a little early She still didn’t bother looking up from her “task” of counting and activating keys After she had completed her important key counting task, she then asked my name Upon looking, she said she couldn’t find it…even though I had a confirmation number on my text, and she suddenly was able to “come up with some paperwork There was a discrepancy on the charging for the room which had been paid in advance, so I had to give her my credit card and have them recharge The front desk person and by now the manager, never once said thank you or sorry for the inconvenience Very poor customer service from this facility! Was not told the best way to get to my room or any other information Very pricey room for very poor service Both should be retaught how to value customers and provide cautious service

Belinda Brecska

I’m not sure how this place got 42 stars, and no I’m not just an angry person leaving a review I just felt very disappointed at the quality of service

I was very disgusted to see how the room looked The bath tub especially!!! As I was showering the paint in the tub was peeling Do you know how nasty that is and unhealthy to have paint that’s peeling and chipped The bathroom ceiling was also disgusting, it looked like the chipped paint would fall any minute Let’s talk about the pool area, how is it that they are allowing people to smoke even when there’s kids around Breakfast toaster is broken I wasn’t please at all!!

meredith emery

Very clean, friendly staff Decent breakfast It’s 2 stare because it’s noisy outside and there aren’t a lot of frills

But it was very comfortable One problem was that the treadmillWas broken But again, at least it had a gym I would definitely stay again, especially if I want to save some money

Lovely location It was conveniently located for our needs Unfortunately, it is not being lovingly cared for

Doors and walls show a great deal of damage presumably from housekeeping carts Speaking of housekeeping, there is none until checkout Be prepared to make your own bed and be sure to hang up your wet towel You’ll be using it again There was quite a bit of hair that was NOT ours in our shower Plus the shower door would not stay closed Breakfast is included and it’s about what you’d expect Employees “working” the breakfast were just standing and chatting together I never saw them do any actual work, but they had the nerve to set out a TIP basket

ItsOrganicDontPanic

When I first checked in they were not sure if the room was ready and I had other things to do so I gave them an extra hour and was assured that the room would be ready upon my return When I got to the room there was no bedding on one of the beds and the dirty bedding was on the floor I called the front desk to have this fixed but had to leave immediately for other obligations

Upon my return I realized that there was food and trash on every one of the counters in the room and a used bar of soap in the shower with someone else’s hair in it Based off this I am confident that my room had not been cleaned at all after the last guest

Jacqueline Gibson

A room was booked for one night for our out-of-town guest When the guest arrived, late evening, he did not have a room The confirmation was given to the clerk and manager

It didn’t matter They had double booked rooms and there were no rooms available!! Poor management skills Great alternate place found We will be using them instead for all of our out-of-town guests

Service and staff are amazing Hotel is very clean Comfortable beds

The only thing I didn’t like was the guy in the room next to us smoking weed Chris moved us immediately though and tended to us efficiently Amazing service Hope that weed guy got charged every penny for the issue Let not a bad neighbor slight the service though They certainly took care of it

queen downing

Hotel was very clean the smoking room didn’t smell like smoke at all Lady on front desk Dede I think her name was the very best checking in My house had burned down and we needed a place to stay for the night she made things very comfortable and easy for my husband and I

Definitely recommend this hotel Hot breakfast was great as well, would definitely book again

Bill Rogers

There is no way this hotel should have won a GOLD award The pool was broke, no notice provided before we got there (however, I received multiple emails including one on the previous day making sure I was still coming) The only working ice maker was on the third floor

None of the soda machines worked, I was told by the staff, ‘yeah someone should buy some sodas and fill that sometime’ I booked two rooms, it would have been nice if they were next to each other The one room was supposedly cleaned, maybe the bed made and vacuumed but that was it There was a dirty washcloth in the shower, there was still hair allover the sink and sink counter, the shower curtain was dirty, there was left over fruit loops from the previous stay under the night stand When you book a room at a Non-Smoking hotel you do that for a reason, you do not need to walk out the front door to the hotel staff smoking with one on each side so that you have to walk through a plume of smoke to get into and out of the hotelThere is no way this hotel should have ever won any awards other than dog hotel of the year maybe!! I like my dog more than that so I would find a better place for them also Go elsewhere!!!

The worse stay at a Marriott property that I have ever had I would avoid this property at all costs Reserved a Kind suite for my family of 4 (plus infant)

Arrived and was given a King Room Hotel staff and management did nothing to accommodate our family and we were forced to sleep on one bed until later in our stay when given the correct room We had called early in week to confirm booking In lieu of the actual room I paid for, Marriott gave me $20 per night They refused to make this right with my family and I I would avoid this property if traveling to NC

Mike O’Quin

Hotel itself was fine Nothing extravagant My room was small but practical

Bed and pillows were comfortable Bathroom looked like it had been updated recently Breakfast bar was available but I didn’t try it Fitness room was very limited Two treadmills, an elliptical, light free weights and a benchMajor downside, which was a freak occurrence I’m sure, was the hotel fire alarm going off ~9pm for about 30 mins due to what I was told was a faulty sprinkler system

Dawn A

Standard Fairfield inn Room was clean, hotel looked nice Shares a parking lot with a surprisingly good asian to-go place located in a gas station

Customer service was great Did have an issue getting someone at the front desk a couple times though It felt like it was largely unmanned However, the rest of the staff I interacted with was top notchBreakfast was greatIssues: one tv was broken However, they comped us $50 (1/3 price), so I thought that was fairA big surprise was that the indoor pool was not heated It was frigid Why bother to have an indoor pool if it’s too cold to use it for half the year? My kids were really looking forward to it (Nov stay) and they couldn’t stay in for more than a few minutes because it was that cold Should’ve brought a wetsuit :-/I did try out the pullout couch bed Felt every spring coil in the 4in mattress However, the normal beds were fine

Perfect for a visit with our daughter – only 5 minutes from her apartment Room was clean, the plugs for electronics worked, (not always the case at a lot of hotels, which I don’t understand) and we were able to park fairly close to the door Breakfast was adequate

Nice that coffee was available during the day Were there for 3 nights and no complaints! 😀

Sheri W S

Great location! Customer service was super! A bed, TV and a desk do not make up a suite I thought every room was a suite, but apparently not Bathroom was pretty decent sized and bed very comfy! It was less than a 15 minute drive to NC A&T, Bennett College and NC at Greensboro

Would stay again if in the area

For a limited service hotel, it’s quite good The room was missing one chair which wasn’t the end of the world Room, in fact the whole facility, was clean

Staff was courteous and competent For me, the location is a little awkward in relation to the business I do in Greensboro, but for folks traveling I-40 who need to overnight in Greensboro, it’s good

This isn’t a 3 star hotel, was a nice hotel once but now run down, mattresses hard as a rock, pick another hotel Order something for room service, you can’t even charge it to your room, what kind of room service is that!! Had better experience at lower end brands Stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6 it has to be better than this so called 3 star

Just stay at a 2 star lower end Marriott, you’ll thank me

Jimmy Jamz

How is this rated 40, makes no sense This is a 1/2 star, 39

99/night a hotel at best PICS ARE NOTHING LIKE WHAT YOUR ROOM WILL LOOK LIKE! Do not stay here, you will regret it If you do, bring a mask, sanitizing wipes, mop, cleaning supplies, gloves, and your own sheets/blankets/pillows Also be prepared to trash/burn everything you brought with you after you leave

Michael Holdcroft

I have no idea how this hotel has a 40 star Google review It’s pretty bad…like two star at best bad

The rooms are totally run down The maintenance is horrible The hall was flooded and stinks to high heavenI would expect much better from Wyndham This is Motel 8 quality See photos of our room for proof

Extremely nice staff any issues or concerns are quickly addressed with absolute empathy I really love everything so far The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable it has an at home slash business feel My heat wasn’t working and they wanted to give me another room but I liked my room and was willing to wait until Monday for maintenance to come to fix it

I just requested to extra blankets I received those from the kindest housekeeping staff I haven’t encountered in a long time Then the front desk calls me to tell me they were sending maintenance to my room to fix the heat I was so impressed because I didn’t mind waiting at all but he came fixed the heat and I’m grateful Thank you for going above and beyond for me but I didn’t mind waiting at all

Danielle Kotch

This is my first and last stay at this hotel I had nothing but issues with it and some of their staff They were doing construction on the parking lot, which inconvenienced my stay in so many ways

The pool is tiny and there isn’t a hot tub The beds are comfortable Everything else leaves a lot to be desired Would not recommend this hotel We needed maintenance on three separate occasions The air conditioning was set to 60, but I was sweating We needed to leave the room to have the unit replaced The stay was so terrible, we got a night comped by the general manager

Kaylee Aleshire

Everything was okay with this hotel except that fact that our room was right across from the equipment room, which was a very loud area in the morning It was also pretty clear that our bathroom had been cleaned to a very low standard as there was an open soap bar still in the shower and the wrapping for it was next to the shower curtain Overall an okay stay, great for the price we paid, just could use some attention to cleaning and noise levels

My family booked this hotel because it was close to NCAT where we were moving my niece into the following day We gathered on and around the couch to eat dinner and BED BUGS started coming out the couch in room 205 (double bed) My sister and I immediately took our things into the hallway and went to the front desk Lady at the desk didn’t seem surprised or have any urgency to rectify the situation

It was 1am she offered to move us to the 4th floor I said I just need to be moved to a room that has never had this issue reported So she put us in 107 (a single handicap room) which lead me to believe they’ve been reported on the 4th floor as well! New room smelled of cigarettes and 2 of my family members had to sleep in the car because that room didn’t accommodate my family size We definitely cut our weekend stay here short to just that night as there was no other option but to stay The manager refunded all our money and apologized However, mentally this was too much The hotel was to capacity I hope none of the future NCAT students or their family’s took any of those with them to their destinations I’m beyond convinced there was an infestation in our first room Thank goodness we were only in there for an hour, never unpacked and had alcohol with us to spray our things down Unacceptable

Mieke Maloof

The hotel was okay Nothing special but also not bad For spending the night on our travels it did just fine

We had trouble connecting to the internet and when I called the front desk I was told that others also had issues but when they called a certain toll free number they were able to have the issue resolved My question was: I have to call? Yes, I had to call If the young lady at the front desk had told us if we wanted to use the internet, make sure when you look for the connection that you put abccom in the browser and that will take you to the log in page So after quite a few minutes trying to get online, then calling the front desk and then the 877 number, it took just a second to type abccom to get onlineBreakfast was ok When we got there, the eggs were all gone and none were ever brought out But there was a good selection of yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, English muffins and bananas and apples

Was here for a business trip Staff was very friendly and helpful Only issue was 5 people in one group and we were given rooms on 3 different floors

Amenities like gym and pool are very well kept Didn’t have time for golf but the greens are very nice and are also very well kept Very large ballrooms that look like a great space for weddings or seminars Was a pleasant quick stay and recommend to any avid golfers looking for a quiet resort with nice views and great service

I am surprised I was able to book my room because furniture market was in town at the same time The room was clean and ready early, so we could drop our suitcases before the massage The massage was great and I really liked the tech I had

The breakfast was amazing and the made to order buffet was delicious The beds were very comfortable and room service was up in 20 minutes with our food It seems like they have done some remodeling and refreshing, and it felt new and relevant again

I really liked our room It was one of the newly renovated rooms and they were really thoughtful with the design, plenty of shelves and surfaces to put your things The only thing is the ac is really loud

I don’t usually notice but this one made some strange noises Oh and they didn’t provide wash cloths in the room, I had to ask for them Pool is not open yet so that was a little disappointing, but they are under renovation I never heard any construction noises during my stay on the third floor The staff was very welcoming Very convenient to gas, restaurants and stores Literally right off the interstate I would definitely stay again

This is actually the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The room had a really bad odor and the bathroom was full black mold! That made me so sick that I had to cut my stay short and leave Also there was a roach found upon my initial walk through of the room I also spotted a roach crawling beneath the cart where the complimentary breakfast was placed

I tried to get a picture, but it crawled away before I could I brought all of this to the attention of the “General Manager” Sandra and she was completely nonchalant and inconsiderate about the entire issue! And even though I remained calm, she did not She began to raise her voice so unprofessionally! I did contact the health department and they are starting an investigation Please think twice before you stay here!!

As stated in a prior review the General Manager at this location Sandra is very nonchalant about matters of concern to the guest She seems to think it is her job to “manage” the guest instead of her focus being on managing her Staff! She approaches guest with aggression and a very accusatory tone, definitely not what you expect from management in hospitality Since I was unable to have a reasonable conversation with her my issues were not able to be resolved at the hotel level and had to be escalated to IHG corporate

I’ve stayed at many, many IHG hotels in the past with no problems so on my next trip to Greensboro I will be choosing a different IHG hotel for our stay

We had a fabulous experience at Pandora’s Manor and would highly recommend! The Wilson room is beautiful and comfortable (and so is the rest of the house) so we were very pleased with how beautiful the house is inside and outside The front porch and outdoor space is lovely! The hospitality was also fabulous – we felt welcomed and Tina went out of her way to make us feel comfortable The attention to detail and amenities were wonderful

Our time at Pandora’s Manor was very relaxing and enjoyable We will definitely be back!

I was invited to a private dinner at Pandora’s Manor and it was exquisite! Chef Nico served amazing cuisine all in their state of the art kitchen that was comfortable, relaxing, open and fresh The furnishings inside are perfectly selected to fit the ambiance of this charmingly restored historic dwelling You can tell that the owners and management have a fine eye for detail and hospitality

My favorite has to be the wrap around porch decorated with intimate seating for socializing and relaxation When you picture southern hospitality, Pandora’s Manor is the perfect fit!
