I hope you like settling for mediocre This place is offering “snacks” for breakfast and a 20% discount at Denny’s Due to covid

But at this point in the game that’s code for it’s cheaper for us this way The beds were hard, there were not enough towels in the room for a family of 4 Best of all instant coffee All in all its a place to sleep and shower up, not much else The staff was happy and cheerful, not a shot at them But I’m not coming just for the smiling faces

Aleta Wakefield

The rooms were comfortable The grab n go breakfast could of been better but the woman who does it was very helpful and kind Jody who I think was the day manager not sure, she was also very helpful

They only change the sheets and stuff every 4th day except they come and get your trash daily and your towels but she allowed me to change my mother’s bed sheets instead of making her wait since something got in it Sometimes hotels don’t allow you too for what ever lame reason Right next to Dennys and when you show your room key you got 20% of your ticket The pool was nice and perfect Not super cold but just right for how hot it was They had tables outside to sit at when smoking in designated smoking areas Usually there someone right outside the doors smoking which for some people bothers them I would totally stay here again! Friendly clean restaurants close by shopping a mile up the road

Jason O

Very small rooms Hard squeaky beds No mini fridge

Old carpet and a chair held together with tape Breakfast is grab n gowhich was better than I expected I was told I got a 20% discount at the Dennys in the same parking lot, used the discount twice during my stayI was staying multiple days, I left early due to the discomfort of the bed, old musty smell in the room and the bugs I was grossed out and left early Was given a partial refund, better than nothing, but a full refund would’ve been more of the right thing to doThe staff were all very friendly The lobby and hallways were clean and somewhat updatedbut the rooms will leave you in shockNext time I will choose a different place to stayunless this Days Inn location gets a major update

Feel like I step in an old Wild West movie sets as a traveler from out of town and stop by for an Inn The room was very much decorated to the theme of the Inn but yet not lack of any modern convenient One of my favorite part about the room is the view if you planning to do some video this will be a perfect spot

The room is clean and space is the restroom is very clean with everything you need provided I would definitely come back for another stay next time when I come to town

Megan Lecher

Very nice hotel room and we had a nice view from the second floor Too cold for the pool; however, we used the hot tub a few times The breakfast isnā€™t really worth it and we went out instead the few days we were there

I really liked the location as it was still close to everything but not in the middle of the chaos Get up early enough and you can easily get a parking spot downtown to walk and go into the shops

Victor Gonzalez

We stayed here on August 12, we were excited and everything seem nice The AC blow up at 11 pm and no one was at front desk replying the phone, I had my newborn with us almost having a heat stroke and no one could help us In the morning, they just said ā€œthere is a sign at the door with an after hour numberā€ (no one told us when we check in)

So we spend the whole night without sleeping and we gave my newborn and toddler 2 or 3 showers just to survive the night We requested a discount/refund and of course no one at the front desk had the ā€œauthorityā€ to do it and they just said: sorry for the inconvenience, this helps us with the next guests to be better and fix things in our rooms Honestly, it was one of the worst nights someone could experience We had to come back to Phoenix really disappointed and stressed

We can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at Origins Bed and Breakfast! It was a perfect venue for our anniversary Jeff and Karen made our stay so special- with a balloon, ‘love’ decor, chocolate strawberries, table decor and lovely sentiments on our wonderful breakfast selections Our room was purely a delight! We truly felt like we were living in a canyon with ‘rock’ walls and waterfall features in the spa tub and huge shower

The bed was so comfortable and the bedding luxurious The private patio has outstanding views All the grounds are meticulously cared for, and the common areas are welcoming and comfortable The breakfasts were outstanding as well as beautifully presented-three courses of delight to send us off to sightseeing around the area Karen and Jeff are wonderful hosts–so accommodating, and helpful with ideas for wineries, dinner places, and other treasure spots to visit They are a wonderful couple who work so well together, and have built a great home and business to share with all of us!

Michele MacLachlan

What a perfect way to spend my birthday! Karen and Jeff have thought of everything is this wonderful bed & breakfast from a blue tooth speaker in the room to games and hiking guides in the common room The breakfasts were so good and well thought out My room was technically the small one but I had plenty of space to keep to myself in my room or on my own patio or joining others in the common room or large shared patio with fireplace

I will be coming back!

Denise Hammer

Our 2-night stay was the best!! So relaxing, and the caring and pampering we received from the owners, Jeff and Karen was wonderful Their attention to detail in every nook and cranny has been done with loveā€¦ and you can feel it throughout the entire house

Karen has awesome culinary skills, and every breakfast she creates is a work of art Will we be back???? You betā€¦ā€¦ but not soon enough!!

Don’t get fooled by the pictures The place is DISGUSTING The bathrooms are filthy with mold

Lantern Light Inn is truly a hidden gem Our Queen Room was a little small but had everything we needed and loved – red Keurig coffee maker with awesome red coffee mugs (not paper cups!), teas, microwave, and a small refrigerator plenty big for several 6-packs of beverages They stocked it with 2 bottled waters and offered us a complimentary bottle of wine! Yes, the wine glasses and wine opener were available in room also

The bed was extremely comfy (best night’s sleep ever), the decor is upscale contemporary Everything from crown molding, scrolled screen door (to let a cool breeze in), and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient, nice towels and an awesome shower head ANOTHER very important thing we loved was the manicured lush grounds WOW It was so welcoming with three very large patio areas Lots of trees, climbing vines, benches, comfortable outdoor furniture, a pond with running water and so much more it was a beautiful garden, well landscaped and maintained And the patio lights (not too bright) were placed throughout the grounds I definitely (without hesitation) recommend this hotel You will love it!

Victoria Toler

The manager was super helpful, pleasant & accommodating The Vortex suite was spacious, very comfortable and clean The bed & pillows were great & the water pressure in the shower was awesome

An added bonus, the jasmine vines all around the property were blooming, so the fragrance was delightful Great value for the money We would happily return there

Sandra Higuera

This was our first time to Sedona, celebrating a birthday, and this was a great little gem for a couples getaway! On the Main Street, but nice and quiet area The person that checked us in was very nice and informed us of hiking areas and restaurants to visit We were offered a bottle of wine, which was perfectly enjoyed out on the swings in the courtyard

Room was a little small but had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend

We had a great experience staying in the Connor Hotel Online reservations were quick and painless Pictures of the rooms were accurate, at least for our room

Descriptions included information like expected noise level Some rooms are over the bar and they let you know up front We pick a nice quiet room not over the bar Our night was quiet and we heard nothing more that a door closing in the hallway, not even the ghosts that are supposed to haunt the place While the hotel is very old, it includes modern amenities such as air conditioning in the room with a remote control, satellite TV, refrigerator and microwave We even had instant popcorn packets to enjoy while unwinding from a day of walking around Jerome The beds were nothing special but I was able to sleep okay even with a bad back The bathroom was very nice and clean with lots of room Parking was not provided by the hotel, but on street parking was free We were able to find a spot half a block from the hotel entrance without much effort The location of the hotel was great for being tourists We had several restaurants less that a block from the hotel entrance Those are really short blocks too We spent about 3 minutes walking to our choice for breakfast from the hotel entrance Checkout was easy and quick The hotel is old but well maintained While it shows it’s age, it has also been upgraded where possible and we never regretted our choice Located in the center of the tourist section of Jerome, we were able to walk out the door and all the shops were just a few minutes away I highly recommend the Connor Hotel My family agrees that it was a great choice for our mini-vacation to Jerome

Tristynn kae Ruesch

I have no complaints about this place The history within it, the authenticity is 100% worth it The gift shop is absolutely adorable and the people at the front desk are so nice and welcoming

Yeah the buildings old and the decor is vintage but I think that adds to the experience The history of the hotel and the pub is also worth looking into I would stay at this hotel again and again Highly recommend

A decent place to stay Nothing fancy Rooms were nice and the room with two queens also had a couch turned futon bed if needed that was big enough to throw a kid on which was a nice surprise

Extra sheets and blankets were available at the front desk who always had nice people Room had microwave and refrigerator Complimentary breakfast had basics like coffee, juices, hot water for teas, and milk Cereal, bagel, packaged muffins, danishes, and some refrigerated items like yogurt, precooked omelet, hard boiled eggs, and a breakfast burrito Pool was closed for Renovations and it was less than a 5 minute walk to itā€™s sister site for pool access

Space Cowboy

My opinions/response that went to the Customer Survey they sent me:The property is really a Model with Hotel amenities The staff was great, from check in to check out – and this place has a lot of potential, the washer and dryer on site are really handy tooIt’s very strange that the front desk assistant can’t book the same room (to extend my stay) for the same price that I can online, and she even suggested going through a third party site

I usually book with Choice Hotels because I have a bad back – this location has the worst bed out of any Choice Hotels I’ve been at so far It seems new, but really, really firm The pillows did not seem like they were up to par with the usual quality at other Choice properties Maybe I’m missing something in how the quality of all the different brands scale, but for almost $300 a night, I’d rather stay somewhere elseThe indoor AC units batteries were dying, so it was hard to see what mode it was on, or how to control the temperatures Maybe a print out of the modes somewhere? There were cigarette butts all outside the patio ground, I’d of had to explain that they were there when I got there The beds seemed fairy new, so I’m hoping this isn’t the new standard for Choice I like the uniqueness of the property, but foe the price tag and the bed, I don’t think it’s worth it, so we didn’t stay another nightThe property was undergoing pool and some other maintenance, but it’s winter and that didn’t impact my stay

Dee Curry

Concerned because I was charged an extra $800 at night for amenities and couldn’t use because they were under construction The soaps and lotions needed refilling

My friend had bugs on her windowsill and was told they would do something the next day and didn’t The breakfast choices are good The outside tables are awesome It was quiet which I love Too many stairs for dragging luggage up and down the stairs

We stayed 2 nights and will never, ever go back We thought we would give it a try from having read the reviews We will return to the Tavern Hotel the next time we visit Old Town Cottonwood

It is much cleaner with real amenities and professional staff Our first assigned “large” room was upstairs We found a dark, dangerous stairway with steep step risers and narrow step treads There was no way we could carry our luggage up those awkward steps with a dingy light at the top The immature desk person rudely announced that we had taken the last room After describing the problem with the stairway and that I nor my husband were going up and down those steps for 2 days, she “found” us a smaller room for the same price next to the “coffee room” Instead of Starbucks in our room, as we had anticipated, we made it single cup style in the small coffee room, euphemistically described as the “Guest Services Room” We had several problems that needed attending to, but the “supervisor” could never be found or simply didn’t respond We asked for a discount at the end of our stay, but received no consideration This place is overpriced and amenities exaggerated I have read the highly rated reviews in disbelief, and wonder if they were staying at the same place

Family of four Got a suite, king and queen beds, two rooms Clean and comfortable

Positives: Great staff including Doug on evening shift The morning manager also super helpful Excellent breakfast Cook staff engaging and very helpful, especially with one gluten free family member The suite room was perfect for family of fourNegatives: Pool and hot tub both closed (off season?) But after two days of hiking Grand Canyon, wish we could have known Concrete construction work stared 7:45 Monday morning All good, we needed to get going Would rather wake up to something other than a hammer drill! Exterior entrancesThe positives far outweighed any negatives Great spot to stay if hiking the Sedona areaI also recommend the Mexican restaurant right out the front of the hotel

lisa johnson

The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig to make snacks and drinks The breakfasts had a great variety to choose from and start the day right The location was nearby trails and shopping, we found all we needed without going out of our way

The pool and hot tub were ready to go, but we did not try them out We didn’t use the laundry either Overall, it was convenient and the amenities Great, definitely a 3 star hotel

Bree Nacole

I went out to celebrate Motherā€™s Day and when I had returned we had seen our door was wide open I was furious and went straight to the office to complain When I asked to see the camera footage I was told they couldnā€™t because the manager wasn’t there but they would check the key log

The lady at the desk then apologized then offered 20% off I then went back to my room to celebrate Motherā€™s Day After about 30 minutes she called and asked if I had noticed if anything was taken When I said no she started to say that the only key that accessed my room was mine So they could no longer offer that discount but a smaller one I personally do not care about the price, I booked it expecting to pay But I also expected a safe room that wouldnā€™t be entered when I was not there Needless to say I will not be coming back hereAnd if you plan to stay here make sure you take everything valuable with you

This place is pretty cool Three restaurants: one very inexpensive ($8) for 1/2 chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie and roll Same for meat loaf and other entrees

They have a 50s themed diner and a high end restaurant Other than gambling ($10 minimum at black jack table), not much to do except eat, wander around or bowl There’s a fun place to leave the kids while you gamble, swimming pool for guests of hotel

Jodie Reichert

$1000 buffet: we were the first few to go in at 7:00am! No toast or bread of any kind, they only had scrambled eggs, corned beef and hash (taste like it came out of a can) hard bacon, good sausage links, cubed potatoes, small danishes that (taste like they came from the supermarket) and white gravy All of the food was warm not hot

It did include your drinks The best thing about going there was an outstanding male server that was so sweet, service with a smile šŸ˜Š and polite that made the experience worth it, we gave him a really nice tip!! That’s a man that truly enjoys his job (he said so) and working extra hours because he has a family

This is a nice casino All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful The place is clean and layed out nicely

The Three Sisters and the Cafe have reasonable prices, great food and coffee The other restaurants are over priced for the just okay quality of the food and small portions I’d recommend stopping by if your looking to have some fun on your way through the area

My husband and I had the most relaxing stay at the ghost city inn Nichole, the caretaker, is such a friendly and down to earth person, we enjoyed talking to her over breakfast Our room was clean, comfortable and had the most amazing view from the balcony in the morning

The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers in the front and the back of the hotel The smell of jasmine was especially nice! The instructions to get to our room was so much fun, almost as if you were in a scavenger hunt or video game I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jerome, as we will definitely be back ourselves! Thank you for making our vacation that much better

We stayed here on July 7th Our flight out of Harrisburg was delayed 9 hours which caused us to get to Jerome right at midnight instead of the expected 3 or 4 in the afternoon with some stops along the way I called as soon as I knew we were going to be delayed and they informed me of where my keys would be and if we needed anything to call them and let them know

The room was adorable We crashed and fell asleep right away and slept great The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect, and the shower was great! We slept in a little and took our time in the morning We didn’t partake in any drinks or snacks We packed up and then we explored Jerome again as we usually do while in town The skeletons on the porch pointing us in the right direction were really cute Our room was really nice (I wish I had their decorating talent) We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town The view is pretty awesome too! Thank you for the hospitality!

My wife and I stayed this weekend From the time we first called until the second we walked out of the door to return home our stay was amazing Ingrid is a very friendly person

You don’t normally find people as nice as her We will definitely be back when we come to Jerome next time We love the city, the people and the businesses of this city Thank you Ingrid for making our stay as wonderful as you did

We stayed at the Green Tree Inn for a weekend get away from Phoenix We chose it specifically because it is pet friendly and conveniently located in West SedonaThe staff was excellent, but the amenities were basic and medium quality

The on-site breakfast left a lot to be desiredThat being said, there were excellent breakfast options within walking distance of the hotel including Nick’s West Side and Sedona Crepes We also walked to Vino di Sedona one evening and enjoyed the live music and wineDue to the pandemic the hotel was not offering cleaning services, but they were available if we needed additional towels or soapWe were disappointed that cleaning services were not automatically available given that we paid a daily fee for hotel services and we were willing to vacate the room while the cleaners were present to keep them safeOverall the hotel met our needs and helped us stay within budget but we probably would not return without pets

We stayed at the Green Tree Inn for several days in January 2002 The room was dated and small but clean and comfortable The staff was friendly

We had a balcony with a nice view of the mountains The location is great close to the hiking trails and uptown Sedona There is also a Safeway grocery store about a mile away My problem with this hotel is the breakfast which is poor Basically, just microwaveable food The breakfast is included in the hotel rate It would probably be better just to eliminate the breakfast and offer only coffee and tea There is a Mc Donaldā€™s and several small restaurants near by which offer a reasonably priced breakfast Another issue I found is that I was charged a $1000 nightly fee called a ā€œhotel services feeā€ No idea what this entails We had no room service during our stay (by choice) and I saw nothing on the property to justify the fee My guess is that it is just another way to make money I probably would not stay at the Green Tree again Although it was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find I would probably stay in Oak Creek Village on my next visit to the area Oak Creek is also close to the hiking trails and uptown Sedona but appeared to be less expensive

We stayed here for 2 nights Kcup coffee was okay Complimentary breakfast was pretty good

Staff was friendly and accommodating Pool and hot tub were pretty decent Room was comfortable but shower head leaked and bathroom floor got very wet from showering Shower curtain wasn’t quite long enough Iron leaked water and the ironing board legs were bent so it was tilted when fully extended Hard to iron on it Iike that The air conditioner worked well but it ran all the time and had to be changed manually since the batteries in the thermostat were dead But all that aside, it was clean, comfortable and convenient

Staff was very friendly – family owned and run business Older style of motel which I usually try to avoid, but it had been remodeled nicely Had a grab and go breakfast with donuts, juice, fresh fruit and yogurt

Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfy Is a couple of blocks from a whole food store which also had a huge supply of wine Ate one meal at the restaurant across the street which was good food and convenient They do also have an outdoor pool and a hot tub but it was too cold when we were there in January of course

Sawyer Gould

It is a cute mom and pop hotel with old school charm Rooms were clean Decor and furniture all dated but not so much that it ruins the experience

It just feels like a $50 hotel The pool is not heated and was filthy dirty Pictures are not accurate The hot tub was not heating so it was very cold They should update the site to reflect non-working utilities Staff was kind of friendly but mot super bubbly Breakfast was sufficient but in a weird/awkward location/small space Some simple updates and this place would be so retro cool
