Exceeded our expectations! The breakfast was by far the best one we have ever had! Front desk was really nice Only thing was that we lost my husbands credit card and they kept saying someone would call us back to tell us if they did or didn’t not find it but they never did And I have reached out via messaging as well

The hot tub was very nice and they had a basic work out room which we used Overall a very nice place to stay!

I have stayed at your hotel quite a few times in the last couple of years I stay here because of the clean inviting rooms, friendly staff, and close to I94 However, every time I stay I’m hoping the pool is warm

It never is I work for a choice hotel and we keep our pool at 85 and hot tub at 105 The last time I was there my grandchildren, who are pretty resilient, would not even use it Please please up your temperature

Upon arrival things were great We got to our room and noticed there was a lot of garbage in the halls – was sure housekeeping probably needed to just make their rounds This trash remained in the hall for the rest of our stay and was still there upon check out

The evening of our first stay we turned on the air conditioner, when coming back from dinner we noticed an awful smell in the room and started having a sneezing fit We assume the musty smell was mold within the air conditioning We contacted the front and Alexis was wonderful, switched our room and brought our new keys to our room She was so helpful Upon switching rooms, we start unpacking and notice garbage, old cups and used tissues throughout the room We cleaned the room, checked the beds and proceeded goto bed When checking out this morning – Haven seemed to be less than phased by our experience, proceeded to print my receipt and ask “well what do you want done about it? You want some points?” I told her it was irritating to arrive in an obviously dirty room, and that I would appreciate something being done Her reply was “well the manager will be here tomorrow You can call them then” Horrible customer service upon her part – and stating she couldn’t refund/do anything so id have to “call a manager” No matter how comfortable the bed, or accommodating one person may be, it tainted our entire stay Professionalism needs to be across the board, and all employees should be able to handle situations it they are the ones checking out the customers

Staff really very capable Beautiful room with great sheets Love the square pillows

This hotel was not originally built as a Hilton property…and it shows Hilton took it over but they need to invest in it I have stayed many times in the past

Cleanliness since COVID has really gone down hill Carpet is pretty gross They only put 2 bath towels in the room If you are a larger party this is a problemUpside pillows are great and the hotel is in a nice locationOverall disappointing for a Hilton property though

We’ve been here for a week now and will be for another week or so I’d like to say that the guy who posted 3 days ago about the breakfast must not understand waiting 5 minutes to restock the great breakfast they offer every day is worth it Every staff mber here is amazing

This place is wonderful and it’s a shame that impatient and entitled people that can’t wait a minute or two, can leave a bad review Absolutely NOTHING bad to say about this hotel Id recommend it to anyone

Kristine Baker

My husband and I had a great experience at the Homewood Suites Fargo Our 1 bedroom king suite was absolutely beautiful and clean The room had a full kitchen which came in very useful

The person who checked us in was so pleasant, professional and got us checked in quickly We were so happy the hotel was just 3 minutes from the airport and was still quiet

This place is awesome! The rooms are great! We loved the convenience of the full kitchen, the bed was soft and warm and we appreciated the large walk-in shower! Zack was an amazing front desk clerk! Great personality and so kind and willing to help with anythingThe morning breakfast is also super! Great fresh choices! Delicious! And Karen the kitchen staff was always helpful and attentive! This will definitely be our go to place to stay any time we are in the Fargo area!

July 30, 2022 Unprofessional front desk manager is uncaring and lacks the expertise necessary to provide a good guest experience Manager say its their policy to overbook and if you book through a third party they will bump you into whatever room they feel like and you have no say in the matter

Its take it or leave! And they say it exactly like that If you drive for a long distance or fly you might find yourself out in the cold and your vacation ruinedDon’t complain or get upset if that happens or even try to explain why you chose that room type because they will call the cops and kick you out Your innocent children will not be spared from being traumatized because the front desk manager is well trained for that The Hilton prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences every time but this location Homewood Suites at West Fargo sucks! Beware !

Ga T

OMG this place is horrible horrible horrible At my arrival I found some dirty dishes in the kitchen In addition, in the morning, to have cold water, One has to wait something like 20 minutes with the open cold water because in the system there is hot water instead

Shower leaking water Noisy because each room has a communicating door with the room near by Used as convention center as well Front desk totally useless Mainly used for conventions and by families with kids, thus if you are a Pro and need to put in some sleep to be effective the day after, this might not be the place for you Deeply Disappointed !!! BTW I emailed the general manager KN , not even an answer, this is how much they care for customers!

Great service and spacious rooms Kids loved the pool area and the games they have in the breakfast room Room prices can’t be beat for what you get! The staff was very friendly and attended any needs that we had without a problem

We have stayed here 3 different times and have had no problems each time Beds are comfy with lots of plug-ins for the whole family It has microwaves, fridge and coffee stations in each room We will definitely be staying here anytime we come through Fargo

Mshopper50

Hotel staff that greeted us were friendly We stayed for hot tubs, pool, and breakfast included HUGE disappointment! Hot tubs were closed

As soon as we turned on the slide water the chlorine fumes became unbearable All of us had burning eyes and little boy was coughingwhat was supposed to be fun turned into crying because of his eyes, coughing, and disappointment from having to leave the pool We also developed stuffy noses afterwards until we left I went to use a towel and every single one I grabbed was stained with what looked like either poop or blood🤢, so walked back with out drying off Towels in our room were also stained Breakfast was bare bones Plain donuts tasted horrible and coffee was almost gone I had to stand and wait for it to drip out a 1/2 a cup We ended up having to go out for breakfast, so no expense saved there I would never stay here again!

JUSTIN LETANDRE

Bed bugs, several families had been bitten including us We stayed up all night and couldn’t sleep Was so horrible

We had our little children we were watching all night just so they wouldn’t get bit We are still in shock from the situation You go somewhere expecting a beautiful experience and this happens They did assist us and move us in the middle of the night, but now every itch scares us We’re are tramatized from the whole experience

I’ve never stayed at a worse Hampton Inn before I arrived to a dirty room and my door was left open Having the door open was scary and my kids freaked out and felt unsafe

Once inside we realized there was hair in the shower, no liners in the garbage cans, bedspreads falling out of the duvet, chips all over the floor, no shampoo, no washcloths It was all grossI figured it was probably a one time thing and I let the front desk know about the situation I was staying two nights and made sure to let the morning staff know that I needed my room clean today That afternoon, I arrived to a dirty room, yet again I finally asked for a vacuum and cleaning supplies and I cleaned my room myself I took out the garbages I cleaned the shower I refilled the towels and wiped down all the surfaces to MAKE SURE they were clean Management should be embarrassedIt’s not just my room that was dirty and chaotic… in the two days and nights that I’ve been here, no one has vacuumed the hallways and no one has swept or mopped the entire downstairs or inside the elevators ALL of the floors of this hotel are beyond dirty and gross The doors to the rooms are also dirty and need to be scrubbed with some warm soapy water at the very minimum I don’t know who is running this hotel but it seem like they don’t really care if the building is clean I was under the impression that this is a one time mistake and they’re really sorry, BUT then I read all of the other reviews and now I realize that it’s a problem that management has had for monthsJust know that this hotel is dirty and gross and has been like this for a few months at least Management is aware that they have issues and they can’t figure it out either or else they don’t careI am in disbelief at the price of this hotel compared to how gross it is and it’s amazing that there is no manager or anyone here I can voice my concerns to because they aren’t here on the weekends Like, come on

Jennifer Cook

We have stayed at several Hampton Ins and have always been pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms Unfortunately, this location left a lot to be desired Our room smelled quite musty upon arrival and I noted that the bed linens didn’t look to have been changed

However, what was the worst was the mold and slime coating the shower walls I took a washcloth and wiped down the walls and was horrified at what came off I spent the first part of our stay wiping everything down Again- pretty gross Before we left I made sure to strip the bed and empty all the garbage cans At least whoever gets the room next will have a cleaner stay than what we experienced 🙁

Alexandria Richards

We booked this hotel for three nights for our family as I was being admitted to the hospital on one of the days The location was great, very close to the hospital When booking our room and even at check in, we were not told about the pool being closed completely for our stay

With 3 young children, a pool was a must for us The air conditioner seemed to rattle and didn’t blow cold air, our room was very warm all night We ended up canceling two of our nights and moving to a different hotel for the rest of our stay The staff was very friendly on the phone and at check in

Staff was courteous and efficient Room was clean and very comfortable I had just spent the day getting tests in the hospital and was very tired

Was very grateful to walk in to a room that was just the right temperature with a comfortable chair to sit and eat my dinner, a clean bathtub to soak in and a clean comfortable bed to sleep in Thank you to the staff

Pauline Hoepfner

We stayed in a king suite and it was nice and roomy The counters had crumbs on them so not cleaned that well My daughters family stayed in 2 queens and found dirty tissues in their bed

They were offerd a different room but it also had crumbs and was very noisy They did have fun at the water park We were woke up at 7:30 by a barking dog So just be aware of that when you book

Overall it was clean staff was friendly! Only 3 stars because reason we came was for kids pool it was closed so we were not able to use the pool which should have been told to customers or a discount offered! The bigger side was over run by a sports team! Until late Our room overall clean however my daughter while having a shower pulled a big gross wade of hair out of the drain! There’s no microwaves in the room! I didn’t get a chance to address front desk as there was a big gathering of people that took over the lobby and breakfast area making it uncomfortable to address anything

Do I think it was worth $250 a night with a broken pool no microwave no! Would I stay there in future yes but I would call in advance to make sure no large group of people and pool is working! Some groups forget their not only ones in hotel we all pay good money like them to be there

I recently stayed at this holiday inn 4/13/22 I went down to the reception desk No one was at the desk

I waited and tried to get the attention of the hotel staff Said hello at the side of the desk Then someone shouts your gonna have to wait Man! I got whatever I needed from the desk Went up the elevator then decided to come back down I asked the hotel receptionist Steve shuls, or Steven shuls who else is back there? Ask him who shouted your gonna have to wait man? Then asked him is that how you greet your hotel guests? He then raised he voice and puffed his chest out stating you where going to walk into my private office I told him I was merely trying to get someone’s attention He said he was making a reservation over the phone Then I asked him you could of said anything to me besides raising your voice and telling me I’m gonna have to wait man! I was going to proceed in telling him To correct his attitude Told him it was alright because he was arguing and getting loud with me Told him it was alright don’t worry about it Didn’t sleep well after unnecessarily getting barked at Worst hotel experience I have ever had Overall the hotel is very nice but didn’t really feel welcome at this particular holiday inn Definitely won’t ever come back to this hotel

Definitely one of the very best hotels in Fargo And *the* best outside of downtown The salt water heated pool is heaven, the hot tub is huge, the hotel is well-appointed, with spacious rooms and all you need for days

The kitchen areas in the rooms are fantastic Much bigger gym than at most hotels, too We have stayed twice, and when we have both our kids with us, the family room with the bunk beds is better than any other hotel we’ve been to Highly recommend!!

LaiJien

I had to drive from Seattle, Washington to Appleton, Wisconsin, and this was my second stop I had a fantastic experience here: when I checked in, Jaimie at the front desk noticed where I was assigned and without me having to ask moved me closer to the elevator and where I could also see my parked car Breakfast was amazing – there was a station where a lovely young woman named Lexy made delicious avocado toast to order, aided by (another) Lexi

When I checked out, Ashley was at the front desk and was also quite friendlyMy only small complaint is that both the lobby and hallways are scented I was told this is a characteristic of the Element brand, but I feel it is totally unnecessary – the wonderful service and beautiful lodgings speak for themselves The scent didn’t particularly bother me, although it was definitely noticeable, and a little bit wafted into my room from the hallway If you are very sensitive or allergic to scents, you may want to think twice about staying here

We stayed here during a family emergency while my mother-in-law was in the Fargo Hospital Angela and Erica at the bar were superb! Will, the hotel chef served us delicious food He even makes his own home made ice cream toppings

Ben at the front desk was extremely accommodating in every way He made sure we had the correct rooms and took care of our every need This is were we will stay at during our future Fargo visits

Jo Caps

It was modern enough except for the tub which was very worn Location was great for shopping and restaurants and there was little to no noise outside, which this hotel says can be an issue and provides ear plugs to accommodate The ear plugs should be used for the actual hotel

Walls and floors/ceilings are paper thin People walking sounds like stomping and you can hear voices and tvs through out When we checked in there was no direction given to us at all The lady was silent She gave us our key and didn’t even wish us a good stay I had to ask where the elevators were We came down later and the other lady at the counter was extremely knowledgeable – almost like she has worked there for a while We eavesdropped and got a great second hand welcome from her, indirectly Also be aware you will not get room service if you are staying for 2 nights Would have been nice to have been told this but we found out the hard way when we got to our room at 9pm and it wasn’t touched At check out they said that Sheraton stopped offering for 2 night stays So I told him it would have helped to have known that (or any details) at check in, and provided the feedback from that experience I doubt I would come back for the price we paid… it would be considered far too expensive for the experience

Mahmoud elJazzar

Rooms were clean but I could easily hear ever word my neighbor would say (0 sound proofing)The room was clean but had some weird smell that I really didn’t likeThe restaurant inside was closed due to July 4th (but it was closed since Friday!!! )

So, for those added breakfast in their room rate technically paid for nothing

I’m giving 3 stars for the positive things – my kids enjoyed the pool I liked the poolside bar – you could order snacks and beverages- and there is a sitting/dining area with games available It was family friendly for sure

The restaurant had good food as well The hotel overall could use some updating The carpets, the walls, the room in general was so/so It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t awful either The thing I hated was that the hotel staff allowed unaccompanied children to run and scream through the halls – for HOURS! That was unacceptable and beyond annoying Who knows where the parents were

Roc May

This was my first time here and honestly, I was not hyped about coming, this was due to me remembering the last times I was at one of these places, casinosI was undoubtedly mistaken The atmosphere was very mellow, not too crowded and our hostess was very nice, polite, and wasn’t overbearing

I felt very much at ease My friend then took me to the swimming pool area which was very much upkept and tidy We did not stay in the hotel part but from what I saw I would definitely recommend it

Woke up early by housekeeping staff and coincidentally we never seen the housekeeping staff again Our room was not cleaned, bed not made room not vacuumed, no replaced glasses Staff at front desk in evening shift was hard to be found and definitely did not care anything about our room, towels or anything else

I found some dead beetles on the bathroom floor and was hoping someone would clean them up Breakfast, I’ll just say my apple juice was warmer then my sausageYou pay decent money to stay and expect some services I have been staying here for years and I’m done I won’t be back

Disappointed and dissatisfied by the front desk whom I asked a few questions Patricia’s attitude changed my mind and I will never be staying at this location I was tired and forgot my ID so I couldn’t get a room but there was no need to treat me like a 4th class person once she realized I wasn’t able to get a room

She looked smugly satisfied as I left the building That last look decided it, I will never stay thereEdit: Thank you Patrick for the quick response I can understand how fraud could be an issue but she wouldn’t answer my simple question I was asking for future reference so that I could simply avoid her presence (as I was advise by my friend, Amanda) just to avoid her all together The question was “Can I register online and use my card for payment?” She wouldn’t answer, only kept stating that an ID was required to check inAmanda said the hotel was one of the best she stayed in in her initial praise report and recommended it; its the reason I decided to check out the pool, spa and breakfast area If it wasn’t for Amanda, I wouldn’t even have walked into WingateI have since changed my mind (Amanda really loves your hotel) and might stay there next time I am in town but will be using the online registration as it offers a 10% discount and I only need to show my ID upon check in and if I’m lucky, won’t run into Patricia Or if I do, I hope she has better customer service training so she can spot someone who actually is attempting fraud I just wanted a shower, good nights rest and some breakfastI won’t forget my ID Thank you

Room was nice and clean, the continental breakfast was pretty good Now the negatives: upon arrival I waited 25 min for someone to come to the front desk and check me in then she charged my card twice for the room and I still haven’t been set right on that and it’s been 2 weeks since it happened So for 2 weeks my money that I could really use sits untouchable iin a “pending” state! Why the f#*k can’t you just refund my card like you said would be done no later then the next day! 2 weeks later it’s still not done

Unbelievable!

Went for work stayed a few months Room was clean with no complaints Bed was comfy and the pillows are great A/C acted up but they were right there to fix it

Great pool area, hot breakfast every morning Didn’t care for the shower couldn’t add enough cold water to have enough water pressure to make the fancy shower head work Also Didn’t like the smell of pot in the hallways

We had to stay just overnight and the staff was very accommodating On the phone they told me how to do a late check in at Red Roof and the person at the desk in Red Roof was awesome about helping us The room was extremely clean and very nice! I almost felt out of place, especially since a week ago I had stayed somewhere more expensive and was pretty sketchy

The breakfast was just what we needed and there was plenty of choices of what to have I would highly recommend staying here whether you need a long business/moving stay, or just want to treat yourself a night after a long day of driving

Rented the meeting space here this last weekend for a baby shower Nice and spacious 220$ for the day

However the customer service really lacked, we had balloons delivered and I called ahead to ensure that would not be a problem come the day of they sent the balloon order away The worst part of the whole thing was the bathrooms smelt so infested the entire night like there was something rotting in there Honestly was shocked We left the space nice and tidy, and ended up leaving a case of beer Called to see if we could come pick it up thinking they hadn’t noticed Yes, they did, and had zero intentions of reaching out to us even tho they had all of our information I don’t think we will use this space again but grateful it was available last minute but now I see why 3 stars to be generous

We enjoyed our stay! Easy access to numerous hot tubs Basic pool as deep as they get for a motel Nice to have snacks and hot drinks available in the evening

Rooms were pleasant and adequateLights out at, was it 10 or 11, pm was relaxing One star less because the quiet time after that was not heeded by so many guests and the loud conversations and children running up and down was not conducive to sleepingNice rules but not so nice when they aren’t keptMaybe to avoid this don’t book a courtyard roomBreakfast in the morning was satisfying ☺️Thanks for accommodating!

Upon arrival

We traveled 25 hours and we were told our room would be ready to check in to at 3:00 pm It wasn’t available until 4:00 pm We noticed while waitingthe Hotel itself was not very clean Even the hot tubs look like they could use a good deep cleaning Our room looked clean until we started looking The microwave was filthy the carpetswere the worse Our bathroom faucet was broken We had no hot water in our sink I would never stay here ever again There breakfast wasn’t good either Nothing was very hot it was filthy When we told them about our water issuethey only took $10off our bill Also the hot tubs were warmnot Hot

We booked five rooms and the party room for a family reunion, 60th Anniversary celebration and two wedding showers What an excellent hotel to work with! The central courtyard was a great space to gather and sit and talk, we all enjoyed the pool and hot tubs and the location is so near to restaurants and shopping It was perfect! And I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff who went out of their way to help us out and make sure we were comfortable

As with any gathering, there were things we forgot — they provided us with fans, a salad tongs, can opener, and extra garbage bags as well as answering a million questions They were helpful and cheerful and we would most definitely stay there again

We were there for a banquet They served a pasta bar for the adults and chicken strips and fries for the kids The best part of the meal was the salad

It looked like the meats were streamed not very good at all They barley had enough food to serve the people that were there They ran out of the shrimp almost right away that said that they only had a small quantity of shrimp that didn’t even serve a quarter of the people attending They had two salad dressing The one I chose seemed to be watered down They had a red sauce and a white sauce that I thought was a Alfredo I’m not sure of what it was supposed to be It definitely did not taste like Alfredo The price per plate was not worth what you got I’m pretty sure majority left hungryAfter the banquet was over we went to the bar We did enjoy our time there Of course they were under staffed like everywhere else So you can’t blame the staff The bar was clean and enough room to move around for a Saturday night There was gambling live music available I would recommend the bar I just couldn’t recommend having a banquet there Hopefully they will step up there game in the future for the food they serve I do not know anyone that can look at dull gray meats and think it looks appetizing with overcooked pasta that is all stuck together

The restaurant was super yummy but a little high in prices Still amazingThe hotel was nice and pools were greatJacuzzi in our sweet was way to small though we never used it

The maids don’t clean your room every day unless you go ask someone When we finally asked all they did was give us towels No toilet paper and didn’t change our garbage Over all it’s a good hotel but could use some better cleaning practice
