This place is awesome Everything from restrooms to parking lot is squeaky clean, the food is very well cooked, the rooms are very quiet and inviting But what really makes this hotel different is the staff

They have a relaxed, helpful attitude that makes you feel at home and among friends here Since my arrival with Erick at the Reception, to Maria on F & B, to Cindy at check out, they all shared that can-do, friendly stance Outdoor fireplace by the swimming pool was also a very nice touch You guys are doing a lot the right way, please keep it up

Mike

It was an Ok stay, I’ve stayed at nicer courtyards

no breakfast, even though they pitched breakfast the day before Elevator has had better days and requires some maintenance Fitness center was a couple cardio machines, no real effort was shown there Plenty of places to select from here, this would not be on my list of places to stay for the next trip

Brandon McKnight

Tvs need to be updated as ours was kinda blurry and colors distorted Plus they are pretty small for now days Pool was as dirty as the creeks I swam in as a kid

And no complimentary coffee after you use your ONE pod in room You have to get a venti or whatever from Starbucks I don’t care about complimentary breakfast but have a coffee pot for Pete’s sake Other than that room was clean and good location

Being a military family we stay at alot of hotels traveling This is definitely our top favorite one Friendly customer service, nice comfortable big rooms, ac was amazing and kept us comfortable all evening

When booking a hotel I look at the most recent reviews I seen very positive feedback about this hotel We booked for one night stay

Front desk lady name Deandrea was so welcoming and very friendly I have small children with me and was excited for the pool for them Pool was clean and towels were available for us Rooms were clean and spacious Breakfast was fresh and delicious as well! We will most definitely be staying here again! Keep doing what y’all are doing!

Much better experience from the 1st stay!! Hotel is pleasing to the eyes, clean! Pool was clean and kids had a great time, not too deep so I had peace of mind The lady who made my reservation over the phone was very patient and friendly with me (we were disconnected multiple times due to dead zones) I believe her name was Miss Deandra So nice when she checked us in, very friendly with the kids offered a noodle pool toy, always greeted everyone cheerfuly when we passed by the front desk

We rented a suite and it was spacious and very comfortable, I would recommend a blanket for the pull out sofa bed Plenty of options to eat in the area The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the lady kept it stocked and she also was very friendly and attentive!!

My experience was excellentThe location is ideal and centralized for shopping and dining The rooms are clean and serviced as required by vacationers or travelers

Extremely friendly and competent staffStand out of the operation is the morning breakfast There is effort applied to have your morning start off with fresh and well prepared foodAs far as management, Chris, who operates the kitchen and meals is a superb employee She demonstrates a work ethic of kindness, thoroughness and very skilled in customer satisfaction Thank you Chris!

We stayed here for 5 nights Rooms were not the quality of a Marriott They were a little old and could be cleaned a little better

Beds were very comfortable and it was quite Our garbage disposal air conditioner and TV were broke but they had the repair man come in on his day off and fixed everything except the TV still wasn’t right but we could get it to work Also the outdoor fireplace was broke we were sad because we wanted to sit outside and enjoy a fire Not a big deal but stillThe staff members were very nice and that is what made this hotel nice The operation manager said she was trying to build this hotel up She was great

Mary Beth Numbers

Nighttime staff had no customer service skills They claimed they had no room for me despite the fact that I reserved 2 days ahead and called earlier that evening to say we would be arriving late It took 1 full hour at 11pm at night to resolve the situation

The night attendant was unprofessionally dressed and had phlegm hanging from his nose for a full minute as he keyed our key cards His supervisor was called and provided us 2 full beds when the original reservation was for a king bed and a full bed The day staff were much better! I have significant reservations about the competence of supervisor Patricia to hire reliable staff

Staff was very friendly I’ve never had an issue with any Fairfield hotel but I was very upset with this one I didn’t like that our first night after check inn we uncovered the beds and there was hairs and crumbs on the bed meaning the sheets were not changed from the previous stay and we found cookies on the bottom of the bed meaning the floor wasn’t vacuumed

the staff was able to move us to a new room and everything seemed fine until I went into the restroom there was ants crawling all long the walls and in the shower and sink!! Also only booked with Fairfield because I called the night before and asked if we could use the pool and they said yes we get there and they advised us the pool is closed!

This was the first time we ever stayed here and we were very underwhelmed The online portrayal of this hotel and the real life experience were very differentThe hotel is older and the decor reflects it and the rooms are interior and exterior

We chose interior (these cost more) and we were right across from the open play area and pool area so we heard the lots of hollering from the kids who were having a GREAT time The room we had was very small for the price we paid, but it was clean and all of the staff are very niceA hot breakfast bar was provided and it offered standard breakfast options but it wasn’t impressive at all They did have a Sunday brunch later that morning and that looked way better than what we had but it wasn’t freeIf you have kids this place is a really good option because the kids seem to be living their best unsupervised lives here from the time we arrived to the time we left! They were everywhere! We didn’t have the worst experience in the world but we probably won’t stay here againUpdate: the last night we were there about 2am there was a man crying and wailing walking the hall of the floor we stayed on and 2 of his friends were trying to calm him down for about 30-45 minutes It was loud and no one from the hotel came to fix the situation Will not stay at the hotel again There was also broken glass in the parking lot that was never cleaned up our entire stay and yes we had brought it to the attention of the front desk

Sarahi Villanueva

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days 2 nights Lobby is beautiful from the inside My family & I had a great in the lobby as they have a ping pong table where I had fun with my husband

My girls enjoyed the playground where they had a blast and the mini golf was fun experience as a family! The pool was also cool as it’s indoor and outdoor and you can swim under to get past We over all got a great experience out there We got a suite Inside the hotel where I have mixed feelings The couch is old, the walls are dirty, we saw spaghetti on the wall (as seen on picture), My husband used a UV light in the room where we saw a bunch of hands and marks on the walls and one on the sheets (picture was a bit blurry for that one) The lazy boy was awesome and the tvs and drawers were newer unlike the couch and beds The hotel is old and needs remodeling If we come back it’s because of the lobby not so much the rooms…

Christy McElhaney

The location is great, the indoor pool and fun activities for kids are great, the breakfast buffet can not be matched anywhere! The food is top notch home cooking! NOW FOR THE 😔 The beds are not comfortable and the ac is a hit and miss depending on the room Staying in the front seems to be the quietest Staying in the rooms in the back seem to be where all the rifraff happens

Even if you don’t stay, you can pay for the Sat and Sun brunch buffet, which is definitely worth it

Looks like new construction but if it is, why is it so dirty and scuffed up already? Walls scuffed, filthy elevator, dirty floors We have stayed in quite a few LaQuinta Inns over the past year bcs we have done a lot of traveling and they accept dogs We have always been happy with these hotels, but this one has a weird vibe and dirty

Definitely won’t stay at this one again

Alejandra Felix

We were very happy to find a pet friendly hotel with a reasonable pet fee ($23), perhaps, when we got to the 1st room that Leonard checked us in, the heater thermostat control didn’t work He was very nice to Switched us to another room, but that room didn’t look like it was completely clean at all The covers were stained, The mini fridge was Filthy and had an old yogurt inside, and the microwave was also dirty

There wasn’t a blow dryer available in the bathroom, but I found a pair of dirty socks instead The staff was nice and the breakfast was okay, but I don’t think that we’ll be staying there ever again in our way to Dallas

Dee Alday

It was a nice stay just annoyed that I left a a wifi Hotspot in the room and I called the next day supposedly the housekeeping door was locked Called in the morning and spoke to the manager and she wasn’t very helpful told me she didn’t have anything in lost in found and that the housekeeper wasn’t going to be in and that she would get back to me no towels in the pool area, 100 dollars incidental fee like that’s nuts I paid 50 at the 191 holiday inn

Brian Wingfield

Beautiful hotel with lovely interior in foyer Staff was friendly and rooms were clean but dated a bit Beds were very comfortable but the water pressure makes this lose a bunch of stars

Maybe hairless people can get clean in the trickle It’s almost impossible for a long haired bearded man Washing kids was hard too as even the water pressure from the tub faucet was awful A big part of traveling, for me, is getting clean That’s where this hotel fails big timeStaff is great but understaffed like most places during COVID Restaurant hours are subject to change based on businesses and food is mediocre I understand it’s hard to have fresh food available when your understaffed and business is unpredictable I understand all of that but the water pressure alone is enough for me not to use this particular hotel For me it’s actually a 1 star since water pressure is a big deal but I put 3 since some won’t care about that

To begin, we have stayed at this Homewood suites here in Odessa once before in June 2021 and had a similar experience to this stay in July 2022We travel with dogs and appreciate the dog area for potty and also a fully stocked poop bag dispenser 👍Our family LOVED this location very much 💕Rooms are excellent and very clean! We LOVE the kitchens in the rooms as they allow us to eat healthy on the road as well as store food for pups 🎉 The front desk staff has been AMAZING and we have met several different staff depending on our arrival time I have spoken to Javier on the phone and met Kaylen at night and CiCi in the AM and they were so kind and helpful I was driving in from Arizona and a 11 plus hour drive and truly appreciated their hospitality so much

😊Breakfast is very plentiful and coffee is delicious! I am so thankful they have the flavored creamers for the coffeeAll around great property and excellent hospitality from the staff!!

I liked the room Nice and comfy Did have free wifi, free complementary breakfast & microwave with fridge

The breakfast could of been little more varied each day or switch it around some days It had same type of “main breakfast” for the 4 days of my stay Very friendly & informative people on where my rooms were & other stuff U can’t assume people know the hotel Liked the complimentary coffee & tea pots they had by the lobby Different flavors That’s always a great gesture by the hotels U have it available all day & night Sometimes you just want something when you’re in a hurry to work or come back to hotel from a long day at work(my trip was business) but even if it was family trip I know me & my wife like that gesture Gave it 4 cause I think the breakfast could of been varied little more daily

Location was good Bathroom door lock was broken looked to be possibly blood stains on the carpet The attitude I got when leaving with my service dog was completely uncalled for, I made the reservation online and checked service dog nothing was said when I got there and walked through the lobby with her and got my key but on the way out this morning the attitude for not having a piece of paper (that was never told to me was needed) and a sign on the door (also never mentioned before at any hotel I had been to)

Cruisin Bob

From reservation process to check in to quality of the room, the experience was exactly what I would expect from a Hampton – expert front desk personnel (Reuben in particular he was amazing and VERY helpful), clean and comfortable room, good breakfast available Upon arrival, Reuben was so kind and helpful plus he made an extra effort to have my room ready a little earlier than normal check in We were there for a graveside service for my wife’s sister, and Reuben went above and beyond to make sure that we had a peaceful stay

He also very graciously printed up a number of programs for the ceremony at no charge to us He was also familiar with my sister who was already staying there with her husband and kept checking to see if we needed anything Hampton almost always meets or exceeds my expectations The Hampton in Odessa, Texas on John Ben Sheppard Pkwy exceeded my expectations A special shout out to Reuben for the expert and gracious help he extended to us while we were thereFamily businessService50Location50Rooms50

AWESOME hotel, spotless, housekeeping is superior rooms clean and well equippedJust try avoid the front desk personnel looks like they are having BAD life (not a day) I tried getting breakfast at 9:40 am, and was told by front desk personnel they were putting it up

It made me feel like I was trash and not worthy

Jeff (Yeff2)

I can see it’s nice and new but after getting into my room the finish work was terrible The caulking in the shower looked like an old dirty house Base boards not done right in the bathroom had screws driven in the top to pinch it to the wall

Paint looks like it’s melting off the wall above shower head Now I see what quality you get when they pop these hotels up as fast as they do Looks like it could be nice but sloppy work Bathroom floor wasn’t swept Toe nail clippings laying on the floor in the corner Kind of gross for what should be a nice place

First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful Second, the beds are awesome

more hotels should invest in the mattresses that this hotel has Air conditioners could use some upgrading because the rooms get fairly warm during the day The only real negative thing that I must say is that the elevators, where you will most likely interact the most with other guests, are not cleaned as often or thoroughly as they should be Other than that, this hotel is a great spot for a weekend getaway

Sea Designs

The staff is amazing The hotel however needs to be updated desperately They are literally stock in the 80’s

The window in our room was dirty (see pics) but everything else was ok The sink water had a bit of a smell, so we had to run it for few min before we used it All in all, not a total bad place if you aren’t too picky Would I stay there again? If I had no choice, yes

Yeet TheMeat

I loved this hotel It was calm and clean They have a bonfir outside that turns on from 6p

m-11pm and is a nice little place to hang out at and wind down for the evening They have soda vendimachines and ice at the end of each floor I assume since I saw them and thought that was cool They have a snack vending machine on the first floor by the single elevator and I didn’t see it until the night I left They had a little coffee machine with both decaf and regular Starbucks coffee with cups, sugar and some other things too Only bad thing that I had an issue with was that sometimes people would smoke in the hallway and it would smell horrible Also we found one bug on the towels provided I killed it but if I saw one then who knows how many more there are Overall enjoyable experience here, would recommend to anyone if they have the money
