Absolutely unsanitary!! Pull back sheets before even putting bags down! Sheets had hairs embedded as though the just made bed from previous guests beds I’m still cringing

ugh if you want a contact buzz simply stay in the hallways Advertised breakfast yet no service it’s just closed no reason given And such a tiny room for price paid!! Oh yea and if you want to watch TV be prepared for the thrown together rig up of cables and boxes Had to give it a star to post anything, trust me one star is more than they deserved

Hannah Hollyfield

What you would expect for the price point Please note: as of April 23, 2022 the pool, continental breakfast, and gym were still closed- regardless of what websites or signs say Nothing was remarkably dirty but it wasn’t nice either

Bathroom mysteriously didn’t have a trash can, but was clean No coffee pot or fridge in room Did have a laundry room but no detergent available for purchase The carpet in the room may have been a bitsticky?? Really the only thing somewhat icky, just keep your socks on

I booked this hotel at a whim because my flight had cancelled They had decent reviews but it does not depict the actual situation in the hotel when you check in This hotel advertised 12pm check out and had 11am checkout

I asked for a late checkout and they said they din’t allow that Also said in the website breakfast is offered but not even a coffee The first night I checked in, there was a cockroach in my room and also some gnats There was no hot water in the shower and in the morning, at 10:11, housekeeping already knocking to clean the room and they been calling the room Bad overall experience! Do not stay here! So many more nicer hotels around the area

My husband and I travelled to St Francisville to stay at the Inn and take in the sites of Louisiana I have heard about the Inn now for over three years and since Covid has slowed down a bit, we jumped at the chance to go

Wonderful place The people are so sweet Monica, Shayla, Angelica and Ms Shirley have so much Southern hospitality that we felt right at home The Saint restaurant was A++++ We did not have one bad meal!!! The bar is top notch! The cocktails were wonderful and we enjoyed several on the front porch in a rocking chairBrandon and Jim, you have a jewel of a place and we hope one day to return

Rob Tulloh

We visited the inn to dine at The Saint restaurant We arrived a little early and sat in the bar area enjoying cocktails while waiting for our table Everyone who worked at the restaurant wore a name tag that also said where they were from

My wife said it reminded her of Disney Our bartender Daniel took care with each drink It was a hot day and I loved my Aperol spritzThe dinner menu featured red snapper, redfish, pasta, and a nice selection of starters We enjoyed sharing the fried cheese balls Our server Lily was very friendly and offered good insights into the menu when our party asked questions A full wine list is available and we enjoyed sharing a viognier with our meal Dessert featured chocolate torte, bread pudding, and key lime – all made in house according to Lily We ordered all 3 and shared them

I stayed there this weekend and checked my bed like normal and found hair was everywhere I need this place to start changing the sheets like they are suppose to The shower had hair in it

The staff was great but the room was not up to standard Thankfully I always bring cleaning supplies on my trips and my own bedding for times like this

Chelsey Kreil

Hotel Was Perfectly Situated, Easy To Access This Is Super Important When Unfamiliar With Baton Rouge! Shower/Bathroom Facilities Were Amazing! The Shower Was Modern With Plenty Of Hot Water And Shampoo/Conditioner Dispenser Available ‘In’ The Shower These Products Have Left My Hair Soft And Feeling Amazing For Two Days! One Tidbit To Share Is That The Beds Are Very Soft, Almost Too Soft (If There Is Ever Such A Thing)

After Having Been On The Road For Hours It Was Nice To Sink Into The Covers And Before I Know It I Took A Nap (Haha)

Paul Woodburn

I had a brief stay in this hotel on business and the outside and foyer was quite nice Adequate parking, shuttle service to the airport and within walking distance to heart attack inducing fast food and fast casual eating establishments The room however was another level

A lower level I went to bed fine that first night but then I was awakened by a loud screech outside my window and something crawling on my face Did I just check in to the Bates motel instead of Springhill Suites? Disoriented after being jarred from a long overdue sleep, I got up to check the noise It was a black bird with a nest in a tree outside my window and a line of ants with a trail leading to my bedDefinitely in need of an ant/termite fumigation treatment Surprised it has not been reduced to an anthill already

Worst hotel stay of our lives, an absolute nightmare This place needs to be condemned and demolished Our room smelled horrible and was filthy upon arrival

There were hairs and gunk all over the bathroom The toilet paper holder, door frames, ironing board, and towel racks were rusted over and unsanitary Carpet and shower were so dirty that we had to wear shoes while showering and walking in the room Curtains, bed skirt, and fridge were covered in mystery stains Each night a group of 10 people gathered outside our door drinking, smoking, and yelling past midnight When we drove in after dark, we almost got a flat tire due to the numerous potholes and broken up pavement chunks in the driveway Stay ANYWHERE but here!!!

peyton bonner

Worst experience I’ve ever had from staff They refused to let me talk to a manager while we were in the office Me and my wife have called numerous times to speak to a manager and they still refused

They charged debit card twice at 133$ and we never opened the door in a room! Swimming pool was greenish black! Pics on advertising look nothing like this place!

Friendly at desk Major remodeling occurring on second floor Parking lot in upper area mostly full of shipping containers, leaving lower lot with signs reading ” Park at your own risk, susceptible to flooding”

Room just felt dingy, with dirt build-up on lamps headboards sinks and mirrors The beds were good with new/newer linens Furniture needs to be replaced Coffee maker looked disgusting Biggest issue was the toilet, I believe the wax ring was leaking, so water on the floor That is repairable but the toilet was so close to the wall (@13-14″ from center, code is minimum 15″) it was difficult to use, and with a grab bar next to it (lowering clearance to 10-12″) there was just no room We dealt it but would never have stayed a second night In the morning the coffee and breakfast were good and the attendent was very pleasant and accommodating We mentioned the toilet at the desk and he said he’d have maintenance look at it

Tara Wilson

This is easily the worst hotel room I’ve ever been in  If it was me paying for it, I would have definitely complained to them by phone or onlineOk, let’s see

bathroom lightswitch had to be toggled up and down several times every single time before you can get it to actually turn on My sister went and reported it several times but nobody came to even check on it No shower curtain Some kind of sharp metal who knows what at eye level at the back of the shower, about a foot longToilet stopped up and my sister went down to the front desk to borrow a plunger, and they actually just let her use it instead of coming to fix it themselves  Only one tiny trashcan in the bathroom, not another one in the room itself Shower wouldn’t go cold at all  – only warm to hot That’s just the bathroomThey’ve got a small Keurig that was absolutely covered in a thick layer of dust, as was most surfaces Window was filthyKing sized bed had a large bump in it going right across my side of the bed at lower back level It hurt so bad to sleep on!! The ice machine didn’t work on the 3rd floorThey were doing some construction on the second floor which is definitely needed I hope it’s much better for anyone checking in in a few monthsI could go on, but that already tells you It’s awful I absolutely wish I had taken pictures to post here

Shermanie Reed

The rooms were not clean, tub was rusty, the carpet was dirty and had stains, the paint is peeling off the walls and doors, the peep hole on the door was stuffed with tissue paper (they are too cheap to replace the door), free parking was advertised but not honored when we arrived The office manager, Brandy, was rude & extremely unprofessional She could not answer questions that were asked

She was asked for their corporate & she didn’t even know the number She was also unwilling to get the number She advised I find it myself on Google I would give 0 stars if I could

We had our wedding reception and Old Centenary Inn and it was so wonderful!! They were so easy to work with and extremely kind! They let us get set up the day before, they even helped up set up! They allowed us to pick everything up the next day, and they even helped with that tooThey were such kind ladies The Inn is GORGEOUS

And we couldn’t have had a better experience

Joseph Granados

We stayed here for a wedding and the experience was like few others The smells, the quiet, the true spirit of Southern Hospitality from the staff You feel like you’re staying in someone’s home instead of a hotel

The history of the place keeps the buffs interested, the peace and quiet, for the greater part of the day, was incredible for the loafer in me The shops nearby were quaint and worth my time The town’s map wall was definitely worth a look; be sure to ask about it

Troy Mire

This is only our second time staying in a B&B but so far it felt the most like being a guest in someone’s home The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with tips and ideas of what to see and do, and where to eat Due to cancelations, we were the only guests both nights we stayed so we got to enjoy especially personalized service although I doubt it would have been much different if there were 20 guests

If you are looking for someplace other than a chain establishment to stay in the St Francisville/Baton Rouge area, this is it Just minutes away from Barnhill Preserve
