This will be the third week that we have stayed at this hotel and it has been one of the most pleasant stays The staff are always so friendly and helpful The breakfast far exceeded our expectations, although they do run out quite quickly on the weekends

😉 The rooms and hallways are always clean and smell fresh (previous hotels we’ve stayed at have reeked of weed and cigarette smoke) The rooms are quite and the location is excellent Easy access to expressway and many restaurant options are very close/in walkable distance We will forever be customers! Thank you for making this place feel like our second home

We stayed in the queen studio suite and it was a very comfortable room to stay in! Our towels were so plush and fresh We thought the ability to swivel the TV was a nice touch to the room layout! The full sized fridge and well stocked kitchen supplies were also very helpful Check in was easy and quick! Our room was right next to the stairs and it was loud at times, it sounded like guests were running and dragging items through the stairwell

At one point in the late evening it sounded like guests were having an argument and shouting at each other in the room above – better soundproofing or a reminder to guests to not disturb their neighbors could have been nice

We stayed in room 314 the past weekend I highly appreciate having a pack and play (that we requested) before we got inBut, I was highly disappointed when I pulled out the sofa bed at night

The sheets were not changed from the previous guest and was filthy I couldn’t even open fully and closed it immediately I had a guest sleep on the floor for the nightI travel often for living, while traveling with family, this is completely unacceptable I expected higher standards from Marriot especially during COVID

Leftover food in mini fridge Garbage bags not placed in garbage cans I had to sanitize my own toilet because it was not clean

Also, looks like there is mold on bathroom curtainI am very disappointed

MoyoPengu

Too pricey, room was alright, no apparent cleaning services The young man at the desk was extremely kind and helpful, But the old lady with glasses was stingy and annoying Breakfast was good, was an average hotel with an absurd price tag of 140$ a night

Gym was small and smelly compared to the inns nearby Pool was closed at the time

Jene’ Souder

This is my second visit to this hotel, as my father (below- Ruben Miller) mentioned, the rooms are quite small for two people As I write this, I’ve waited 35 minutes (and counting) for the night auditor to bring me a laundry bag and a pair of gloves When I called the first time, he ignored my call, probably because his Stephen King novel was more interesting that my request

The tub had a ring around it and the shower curtains are dirty You can tell this is franchise and not a corporately owned hotel, because Marriott would have none of this nonsense There is a stench of mold in the room, which explains my headache, but I’m too tired to move at this point Last time staying here…the wifi kept dropping of and the front desk never showed

This hotel is one of the best I have been to in a long time I have traveled to a lot of different places and stayed in my share of hotels, but this one tops them all! The night clerk is very friendly and an all around good guy A bit pricey but you get what you pay for

The room was clean and decent sized, would be perfect for someone on a business trip or someone from out of town visiting lake Michigan Definitely recommend this place if you need a hotel for the weekend or longer

Recently I stayed at this Hyatt Place for two consecutive nights Upon arrival the check-in took some time, as the receptionist had some issue with the guest right in front of me Finally in the room I noticed soon, that in the bathroom not everything was working properly

After flushing the toilet it made strange noises And the rack with towels on it was hanging loose But for two nights this was ok for me more or less One thing I didn’t like at all was, that housekeeping did not respect the do-not-disturb-sign outside the room! After the first night they knocked and immediately opened the door! After the second they knocked again, but at least waited for me to open the door Why do the have these signs, when everybody disregards them? Breakfast was ok so far Nevertheless this Hyatt property is below Hyatt standard only in my opinion At the moment I don’t know if I would return

BEWARE! This hotel will steal from you! I stayed here at the beginning of January and when I checked my credit card statement a few weeks later, there was an additional $750 charged to my card When I contacted the hotel, they claimed that I broke the television in the room and they billed me for property damage For the record, I did not break anything in that room! I am a business traveler who has stayed in this hotel before

What’s more is that they didn’t even call or email me to discuss the situation They simply charged my card, stole $750 from me, and then told me to take a hike when I complained about it I am currently disputing the charge with my credit card company, and if need be, will be taking this to smalls claims courtI travel for work all the time and I have never encountered a situation like this before They have lost my business, they have lost the business of any of my employees who travel there for work, they have lost the business of all of my friends and family, and the local company that I am working with that recommended I stay here is no longer going to send any of their customers who come to visit them to this hotel Unless you want to be accused of something you didn’t do, have money stolen from you, and have the biggest headache of your life trying to clear your good name, I highly recommend you find another hotel to stay at***UPDATE***I won! It took more than 3 months to get my name cleared, but I was finally able to get the hotel’s bank to acknowledge that I did not do anything wrong and refund my money! This place will try to scam you STAY AWAY!

Weird layout to the rooms We liked the sitting area but not impressed that there isn’t a sink outside the bathroom Plumbing is INSANELY LOUD! Woke up this morning to what literally sounded like a person repeatedly smashing on our wall with a large hammer

It was from the pipes due to the people upstairs taking a shower Crazy insane loud! NOT a good way to start your day Toilet doesn’t flush properly, we need to take the lid off the tank and mess with the plunger Lock on bathroom door doesn’t work Pool area is VERY small The place is quite clean though and a very well stocked hot breakfast (coffee was very good too) Staff was very friendly and helpful

NehNette Swanson

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!!! From the moment we walked in, when we received a fabulous welcome from the desk attendant, to the time we left, with more kind words from ANOTHER desk attendant, we were so pleased with this hotel The room was beautiful, clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable I noticed others comment on noise–that was not our experience even though the hotel was fairly full with lots of children running around

The complimentary breakfast the next morning was tasty and nicely laid out, and the lounging area was great Our only disappointment was the rain that started to fall just as we walked out to enjoy the outdoor firepit Not their fault! LOL! A great stay at a nice hotel with terrific staff Two thumbs-up!!!

Veronica Phoenix

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful However, we asked for a quiet room away from the highway, which we did get, but they put us directly above the firepit area which was supposed to close at 10 or 11pm There was a sports team out at the firepit ALL night

We called the front desk multiple times starting at 12am to no avail It was 6/7am before the party broke up – loud music, loud talking We paid to get sleep and got no sleep

I recently stayed at this hotel and am discouraged that after two calls for management that I have not received a call backCons:1)

I told the front desk I was looking for local things to do and she did not suggest the Trolley that went hourly from the hotel I was SO disappointed to find this out two hours from my departure2) I paid extra for the balcony room but was unable to use it due to it being overtaken by spiders We actually had some spiders in our room from my trying to use the balcony3) I had no washcloths in the bathroom for my shower and had to call down for some to be brought up I was told they should of been in there4) The refrigerator wasn’t up to temp and I lost all the food in itPros:I liked the location and the restaurant downstairs! Paris is a wonderful waitress and I appreciated her great jobHad I got a return call from a manager this review could of went completely different

Kate at the front desk was amazing & turned our stay aroundAccidentally booked room with a 3rd party & didn’t get correct room or view as promised When I spoke to the front desk the first night I was told nothing could be done

Was so disappointed as it was a yearly girls getawayAfter talking to Kate on the second morning she rectified the situation & put us in an awesome room with a balcony and view that was originally promisedI am so grateful to her for understanding what happened & want to commend her on her amazing customer serviceShe is awesome !Also, our bartender at the outside bar was great Wish I remembered her name She was so friendly & helpfulThank you to both of these wonderful ladies !Ended up having a great timeBeautiful, spacious outdoor area to enjoy drinks & the viewWould reccomend but make sure & call hotel directly to book

The location is wonderful On one side you have a nice view of Spring Lake with balconies The pool and hot tub were a nice amenity

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable The staff was friendly and helpfulOn the other hand, the pool needed a good cleaning The biggest negative was no breakfast was included

This is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at Incredibly clean, and the in house bar was great and very reasonably priced! The pool and hot tub were both really nice, the pool especially as the colored lights were a great touch The area around the pool is stocked with games- pool, ping pong, claw machines, air hockey, and more

Highly recommend

Lovely stay at this wonderful location I’m not into the traditional Bed and Breakfast where you usually stay in old accommodations with old decor and then eat breakfast with strangers We stayed in the New York Loft with every detail taken care of and a delicious breakfast delivered to our room in the morning

Whirlpool tub, comfortable king size bed, tile shower, and heated toilet seat with a pool nearby We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay in this little oasisThe bathroom in this unit was a little small for my taste, but this did not detract from the experience

Cs Josey

Relaxing, super clean, private retreat Many special touches with the bird hoses with chirping baby birds, slightly splashing water fountain, hammock and chairs for relaxing Beds were spacious and comfortable with plenty of pillows

Fresh baked goods in the kitchen and a snack basket in room upon arrival Heated towel bars, heated toilet seat- more hot water than one would expect for such large jacuzzi tubs- filled completely with out running out Hosts value your privacy, but are easily contacted for any needs you may haveHaving breakfast delivered to the door around 10 am was AMAZING!Well worth the trip!

Erika Fleming

We stayed in the Upstairs Guest House (Note that this room’s jacuzzi only fits one person) Everything was clean and organized; the staff were kind and attentive; and communication from staff was very clear leading up to, during, and after our stay

We loved the couples massage, the hot breakfast delivered each morning, the bouquet of flowers, and even the DVD selection We enjoyed walking around the local area too Would highly recommend for a weekend away!

Not a bad place It was a bit older, with some aspects being outdated But overall, a decent stay

I would stay again Breakfast was minimal, but enough to satisfy everyone in our family Hot tub looked a little sketchy, brown streaks all over (possibly rust?) and a pile of dirt in the bottom But water was clear and hot Nice little area outside of pool, we ate our dinner out there Although the keycard reader did not work, so we got locked out there Room was fine, aside from a horribly loud, squeaky closet door Room was clean, pull-out bedding was in room, decent sizeBut the staff……every person on staff that I interacted with was extremely polite, kind and helpful Kudos on that! That can just ruin a hotel stay for meEnjoyed my stay!

Jonetta Minter

For the most part this place is clean, food is mediocre I had to switch my room after two nights because of flooding from the use of the tub but couldn’t because the place was booked The last day of my stay I was able to switch

I was there for a total of 5 days I was told I would get points added to my Marriott account for the hassle of keeping towels down by the door but didn’t After calling three times asking about points I said forget it We stayed at another Fairfield Inn in Kentucky and it was truly remarkable Fresh food like eggs, bacon and sausage With fresh fruit , bagels and coffee cakes Kids loved the place

Jenni Hecht

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTELThis hotel is a joke We booked our stay Wednesday before we left and paid in full We had a funeral to attend the day of checking and we only wanted to get into our room and decompress-this wasn’t going to happen

The Fairfield decided they didn’t need to uphold our reservation because it was booked through a third party and never kept a room for us On top of that, they lied about a room being available and wasted two hours of our already emotional day by making use wait while they “cleaned” a room-which never happened Then when we asked for the manager we were told he wasn’t on site when he was and he was walking around us with HEADPHONES in I will do my best to not book a Fairfield again and with the Marriot Group, which will be hard since they are everywhere Thankfully, Hotelscom took care of the issue at no extra charge and even got us into an upgraded hotel

This place was great! It has an exercise room There’s also a family gaming area connected to the indoor pool The water was perfect temperature, and I thought it was cool how the hot tub continues outside into a fenced in patio, and next to that is a grill area

The breakfast spread was impressive with all sorts of hot and cold choices My kids were fascinated with this automated machine that cooked fresh pancakes

SO very comfy cozy! Despite having a horrible experience at the last Holiday Inn I stayed at, this stay was memorable in all the right ways!Nestled in the charming city of Holland (which has is its own Holland-themed theme park!), this beautiful Holiday Inn property is ideally locatedA warm fireplace greets guests as they enter the lobby to check in and there is an intimate lounge area The entire facility is very clean and although we didn’t pack swimwear, the pool looks phenomenal! Some rooms even boast whirlpool hot tubs, which was very welcome after working hard in the snow all afternoon

Although all staff here were very sweet and personable, Katy went above and beyond with customer service from a phone call to helping us out with the check in process We can’t thank her enough for making this such a great stay! Kudos, Katy! 🙂

I LOVED this hotel It was exceptionally clean The beds were super comfortable

My family and I (8 of us) went to eat here today My dad picked this place, and to be honest, I pre-judged this place and did not want to eat there Their food slaps!! It was so good, especially for the price!! I had the perch dinner, side salad, with rice pilaf and a perfect roll

I also tried the bomb onion rings & potato skins Also, Hands down thee BEST SERVICE I’ve experienced in the last 2 years! Super clean too Truly, check this place out!

Michael Kridler

This place is really great Katie gave us awesome service and the food was delicious and delightful Everyone was more than satisfied with our meals and we will be returning for more soon

I had the Cobb salad which was a good choice for me as it was meaty and delicious Burgers burritos and ghoulash satisfied the group I would recommend the sweet potato fries

Beverly Heilman

Stopped there Sunday after church They wouldn’t seat us for about 20 minutes because the kitchen was behind Ordered our food and drinks

After 15 minutes we asked if we could have our drinks My eggs were cold, not even warm! My husband ordered a waffle and when he got it it was so tough he asked for a steak knife! The waitress said she had made so why would you serve a door stop? My silverware still had food on it when I unwrapped it! Also the toast was burnt! Very disappointed because we do like to go there Maybe a while before we go back!

The beautiful patio out back was the perfect spot for us and our guests to hang out They even took photos with their own camera throughout the weekend and then surprised us with the prints when we left We will definitely will be back! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel

The staff was nice but the place is “under renovation” and has been for a while Bare concrete floors in lobby as of April 2022, I see reviews mention this almost a year ago, so probably staying that way Lots of clutter behind front desk

Seems to be a lot of traveling construction workers staying here, many hanging out in cars in parking lot Had to sign a “do not party” waiver, which gives you clues Our family didn’t feel safe so we went to another hotel The website photos DO NOT match reality Rooms are dated and don’t feel clean Did not feel comfortable staying here with small children

Staff was really friendly and helpful Freshly popped popcorn was welcome after a long drive with kids that just wanted to swim Pool was loaded with diving toys, pool noodles, and balls

My kids had a blast Rooms are very clean Breakfast was better then most included hotel breakfasts with a lot of grab and go variety though we took advantage of the eggs, potatoes, sausage, and bacon Will stay here again if we end up back in the area
