Pleasantly surprised The managers and staff are so kind and informative Complimentary coffee, tea, and water upon arrival

I loved the large, mini studio room, comfortable bed, full length mirror, sofa bed, great shower head and temperature, the kitchen came equipped with all the necessities and an oven Breakfast was spectacular with fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits, waffles, oatmeal and more A very nice spreadThe pool was very small, not one I wanted to dip into But all else was a great experience

Heidi Bunch

I needed a shower for someone with disabilities The 2 rooms that were disability accessible were taken, but I was assured that the bathtub had handrails inside of it No it did not

It was also extremely loud from drunken neighbors who were awake through the night, talking, laughing, screaming and carrying on The problems surrounded me!! Upstairs and on either side of me were partying peopleThere’s a sheet of paper that has to be signed that informs tenants to keep noise levels down It was so loud that I wasn’t able to sleep at all and had a Dr’s appointment early the next morning I loved the big room It was clean and had a nice kitchen, but due to the other issues, I’d pass

Tom Graham

Not the greatest location and the appearance is little to be desired Could use a serious facelift makeover The gym was not available

The doors look like they’ve been broken into The employees were super friendly, courteous, kind, and professional The free breakfast in the mornings was great and much appreciated Rooms were spacious and clean although furniture could use modern upgrades Recommend for say construction workers, contractors, and or business professionals for long term stays and or just for quick business meetings like I was there for

George is one of the most professional, easy-going people I’ve met I had minor, yet concerning hiccups while staying in the hotel George made sure I was well taken care of, and even stopped in passing to help me with the dead battery on my door

George gave me nothing but excellence, and treated me with the utmost respectHonorary shout-out to the maintenance team! 🤘

Bryce Stejskal

Room was nice enough but that was about itOur room didn’t have enough towels, and had half a roll of toilet paper We had two adults and two kids

When I called the front desk, the lady said I would have to come grab it No big deal, but I said I was coming right down, and then she took off and I had to stand there for 15minutes waiting She was just around the corner chatting about life drama with another coworkerAlso The bed was super uncomfortable Having gnarly lower back spasms today

I need to start by saying the staff was friendly and beds clean I have to stop there I wanted to enjoy our stay but it started off with after we parked our car in the back our key card did not work so we had to walk all the way around the building to get front desk to help us

This key card entrance happened randomly through our stay for the various entrances as well as the poolThen the hot breakfast was garbage basically it was gas station food ranging form cold cereal to packaged burritos, packaged bagels with fake egg and sausage, packed waffles Nothing freshconsidering the nightly rate I was highly disappointed Not the Springhill Brand we are used to The food in the store kiosk was betterThe scariest part was the final night we were there was another guest a man (we think it was a guest) had attempted to enter our room The only reason he did not was we had the extra security on the door the metal lock that only allowed the door to open a tine bit HE HAD GAINED ACCESS USING HIS KEY CARD!!! This was in the evening time and when we spoke to the front desk they were alarmed and said they would let the manager know right away but we never heard anything about it at check out we discussed it with the front desk and they were concerned and friendly and said they would let their manager know but nothing after thatSo based on that let me tell you more of my concerns that we were were going to not mention but because we had not heard back about the break in we felt these other things you should know before staying there:1) carpets had stains2) we had asked to have our room cleaned while everyone was out but that did not happen3) each time we went to the pool there were not towels and we had to ask for them

Andrew Munday

Incredible hospitality! I arrived at my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke so I called the front desk to request a new room The person quickly met me on the 2nd floor and moved me to a new room He even gave me a care package! Rooms are great! Very big, L shaped couch, AC cranks, blackout curtains, I could live here

Breakfast is solid, eggs and oatmealI also love the location I found a new restaurant called Local Kitchens It’s a digital food hall that has 5 different restaurants in it Right down the street – pretty sweet!

James Chandler

Day 1: The lamp that provided light for the room was falling apart and the shade was dangling by the hot/neutral wires After telling the front desk, no one came to fix the lamp and we were not offered a different roomDay 2: The deadbolt on our room malfunctioned, causing the deadbolt to engage every time we released the handle

This prevented the door from being able to close The only fix was to use the keycard to unlock the door from the outside, turn the handle, and then pull the door shut

I absolutely love this place I’m so happy I discovered this I was staying at an extended stay America and it was just an awful experience

I checked out early I was only there 4 days and I happened upon this location and I’ve never been happier staying here for 6 months on a travel assignment with my company So this is my new home away from home The staff is amazing They provide prompt, reliable service You couldn’t ask for more

Rosalie Regalado

Very nice place to stay $167 for a large suite with 2 king sized beds in the bedroom And a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, sink and cupboards

A breakfast nook and dining table The dining room can be used for client meetings because it has a dry ease board with a tray that can hold an eraser and dry ease markers A living room with a sofa , coffee table, tv, and sofa chair Clean and comfortable I would stay here again

Bev Ann G.

Clean and friendly Staff Breakfast is ordered the night before Choices are few and the Toaster in a room barley worked

1 hard sofa bed to sit on No USB power adapter available So bring your own! It’s an older Motel, but you don’t pay what you would if you had all the upgrades! So take your pick Marriott price or OK and reasonable 😊

This is a nice and clean property with limited services The property does not have enough housekeeping staff If you need towels, toilet paper or anything else, you need to ask the front desk and they will get it for you

The breakfast is OK They do not have as much food variety as other Residence Inn The property is within walking distance to some restaurants, including Famous Burgers and Brew, which is goodThe room has a very small bed and a pull out sofa bed We traveled with an 8 year old, so I had to use the sofa bed It was comfortable, but would prefer having a King size bed with a pull out sofa

Doug Turner

This place is my home away from home I have been deployed to the Rancho Cordova/ Mather area for work for the past 4 years I have logged over 300 nights and have always been totally satisfied

Kristen and the rest of the staff are the best I have seen and I travel all over the statesHighly recommend!

I stayed for two nights and it was excellent! The front desk was super nice They have breakfast in the morning unfortunately I slept in both days with my daughter so we missed it ! The rooms are really nice I had a kitchen with a dishwasher in my room it had silver ware and pots and pans everything you’d need to cook on the go

The only thing I would say is that if you like really hot showers becareful showering with bathroom door open or smoke alarm will go off Will definitely be back next time in town

Clean , friendly, easy access , & close to all attractions including the airport! The breakfast hit the spot each morning! The weight room was always clean & Vanessa at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with daily! Each time we entered or left we were greeted pleasantly The woman who worked the breakfast buffet were also very accommodating & easy to talk too ! The waffle machine was a huge hit with the kids & these women cleaned it up nicely ! Just wish they had a pool ! Fantastic stay thank you !

karthik rajkumar

They got good amount of varieties in breakfast , so clean and tidy lobby place , computer dear for guests Floors are best with laundry , gym and parking is really good tooWhen it come to room – mini fridge , coffee access and closet, huge coach cum bed

But the bed was not in good shape Lot of back pain on sleeping over last 10 days Management need to look in to that seriously semi hard usually hotels use but full soft beds are not good always Room cleaning and staffs are awesome Worth staying out for 10 days

Wolf Pack

Happy with room, size and value is goodOn the flip side, was disappointed with the following;- Charged twice for the room and was not offered an apology-Front desk named Sara was not helpful- Asked for room to be cleaned and linen to be changed

Returned to my room late at night and nothing was done Was told that they only service the room at a certain time of the day Made it out it was my fault

What an amazing location, room, and so so clean! We stayed at indulge for two nights and I was in Awh over how beautiful this location, buildings, and our room was (Photos online don’t do this place justice) Staying in hotels is always scary to me, but wow was I pleased You walk in, smells and looks so clean

With covid, check in is done over the phone day of, and then you get a code for front door and also your roomThere is a decent amount of ring cameras everywhere to make you feel safe Great keurig and coffee in room and everything Definitely want to come back!

NekoSarine

I stayed there with my boyfriend while visiting for a wedding There were awesome breakfasts every morning and the room was amazing and kept clean We even set up a couples massage one of the days and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had

Near the end of our stay my boyfriend became my fiancee He had them set up the room with rose petals and champagne The staff was so nice and when they saw us the following morning they all congratulated us

Jennifer Foreman

Came here for my birthday and stayed in the Villa King Suite on bottom with my man and two little ones It had a beautiful living room and kitchen with full kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, table, oven, and kurig coffee machine with tea and Pete’s coffee The bedroom and bathroom with jet tub and shower were lovely

Oh yeah can’t forget the super plush robes available as well Lots of space for your belongings as well with a dresser and closet thst had a safe, iron and ironing board This suite is especially kid friendly and is the only one that can hold up to 4 guests There’s a park/playground across the street so perfect for if you are bringing children The sparkling champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were so tasty, the pull out couch was super comfy alongside a gas operated toasty fireplace TV was also available with subscriptions only though I’m pretty sure Overall though I really enjoyed my stay, and I hope to stay here again real soon In the same suite or even try a different one next time😊

Stayed here for two weeks while attending training The good: pretty much everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, shopping and a multi-use trail), full kitchen with dishwasher, and free washers and dryers The not so good: it is dated but functional, with the kitchens it can get a little noisy if your neighbor decides to cook up a late night meal

While most of the staff was friendly, I do have to say the guy at the front desk I picked up breakfast from twice is probably the most surly hotel employee I’ve ever come across If you’re that miserable that can’t say good morning to a guest or thank you when they hand you a tip for the breakfast you really need to rethink your career status I guess it shows how shallow the hiring pool is right now

Tony Lopez

I stayed at this hotel on June 24 and 25th 2022 It was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I can tell you by far one of the best experiences in Folsom! I have stayed at other hotels in the Sacramento area and at this point will choose no other… Even if it means a longer commute into the Folsom Area! The cleanliness, staff, and amenities are unmatched And for the price it is an exceptional stay! Thank you Lord for landing for providing me up with amazing hospitality and service

Overall nice place The front desk personnel during check in didn’t appear very happy Made it feel a little unwelcoming for the prices I paid

The pool, patio, breakfast area and other amenities were great The night shift personnel made up for their day shift counterparts Night shift greeted us when they seen us Helped us on the patio with the fire pit and even showed us where the towels were They were very personable Night shift security guard Bishop was excellent It felt safer when I would see him walking the property and double checking doors and gates of the building His presence was known and made me and my daughters feel secure away from home

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel It was very clean and updated and the room was spacious I would only recommend each guest be informed of the housekeeping ‘only upon request the night before’ rule, as soon as they check-in

This will be more useful and less frustrating than having to call the front desk and ask why your room wasn’t cleaned IMO Also, a few more breakfast hot food options would be good as well (such as bacon, sausage, pancakes etc although the waffles were excellent and they even had sugar free syrup as an optionnice touch!) They have a small gym and a nice clean outdoor pool area with a grill for BBQing if that’s your desire Also, a covered outdoor smoking area and a security guard on duty in the evening/night parking lot, and since we arrived around mid-night, we really appreciated this touch and felt very safe Overall, I was very happy with our stay and would definitely come back

Ashley Harrison

This place was great I had a long day of trave I try several other places before this one with No success the hotel was nasty, not in a good area are just plan oh to expensive

I called the Hilton number and we found this hotel which I didn’t know of at the time Should up check in and received excellent service The front desk clerks gave me a complimentary gift, meal suggestion and were to advise The room was very nice and clean the bed was comfortable too In all I am happy I got to stay at this hotel

Jennifer Hoglund

We were in the area for a baseball tournament and decided to stay overnight and watch Rivercats game The hotel we usually stay at was booked and we found this one instead The hotel is a quick and safe walk from the stadium

The room was nice, the hotel and parking lot area was clean I was a little concerned because there looked to be some older motels next door and I was worried about the car Everything was great and our car was safe

I liked this hotel The reception was excellent The room were clean and spotless

The 3 stars are for the parking spaces They should make these other guys drive a truck with the trailer and a big utility trucks park out on the street Instead, they parked in the lot taking up 4-5 parking spots Yes, I end up parking out on the street

Andrew Zelechoski

The hotel itself looked pretty good from the outside but I quickly found out they are currently doing renovations and remodeling on the third floor (The same floor my room was on) I constantly had to contend with the smell paint, sawdust and whatever chemicals they were using

I was not told ahead of time of the ongoing/active renovations and if I would have known I probably wouldn’t had stayed here Also my room on he third floor had no hot water which I only discovered the day I was checking out when I tried to take a shower I brought this to the front desks attention and they seemed concerned and apologized but didn’t offer any sort of compassion or compensation for my hardship Overall I was very disappointed in my stay as they was a lot of repairs and renovations being done thru the hotel and things just seemed disarray Not a bad hotel there was just too much going on for me to really enjoy my stay

Robert Velasquez

The staff here is friendly and great you with a smile but the rooms are a bit worn outThis place is being remodeled so the gym and pool were closed, and the area surrounding the hotel is packed with homeless so I couldn’t go for a run I would not stay here with my family because of the surroundings

Excellent hotel and room Loved the full kitchen to used! The place was stylish, up-to-date, and the ambience was great The area was safe and close to the place of work I was traveling to

The front desk ladies were nice as well I didn’t partake in the continental breakfast, but I did enjoy the free coffee each morning It looked as though someone was there to make you various things as well Highly recommend and I will definitely stay here again

This hotel has a lot of amenities such as a free breakfast a great gym and a pool Also there’s a laundromat if you need to do your laundry The rooms are really modern and simple but very comfortable and even the single King rooms have a small kitchenette in them

The decor is really modern and you can buy food and alcohol in the store in the front I find the location to be perfect especially if you live off of I-80 and it’s one of my favorite hotels in Sacramento The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because they have some housekeeping issues lately

Jason Brewer

Stayed here on a road trip stopover Given the location, it’s more of a business hotel; however, it is adjacent to a large shopping complex so there are a lot of chain options around The room was a little bit smaller than some other Elements I’ve visited, but the whole hotel was very clean and new

Room AC functioned without hassles; and, there are total blackout shades which is a real plus There is a made-to-order hot breakfast which was decent (eggs and grains), but not a lot of other breakfast options besides baked goods Overall a good brief stay

Felt overwhelmed by the druggy filled community in there Serious dealers dealing resin, no policing what so ever Felt unsafe a lot of the time and shaken up by the large homeless population in an around the building

Beds were amenable and could have been more soft Generally a horrible experience with a minority hosteller which could have been monitored more carefully by more consisentious staff

Very very nice access to well equipped kitchen Very nice private rooms Nice dorms for good price

Very very clean no worries of any type of bugs Staff is nice and all the other guests who come through are awesome company Old Victorian home with lots of history Even if you live in Sacramento I recommend staying in a private room for at least one night

We loved all the accommodations of the hotel including the kitchenette living room area and bedroom area made private by a curtain Even our dog grew comfortable here She was treat pleasantly by staff and guests alike The daily breakfast options were wonderful and the coffee was awesome Even the fresh fruit in the water pitcher was a delight I can’t say enough great things and would definitely stay again

This was a great stay Relatively new place, rooms were basic but nice Minimal fitness room, but definitely workable

Continental breakfast was pretty good, and service was outstanding Juliana was very attentive and helpful, and Lindsey was nice and accommodating Has a pool, but didn’t get to it I was informed that booze will be for sale in the lobby soon (if you’re into that), and there will be a BBQ food truck there Mondays and Tuesdays (I think those were the days) in the near future Would stay again

The service was great, very friendly/sweet staff The room was beautiful and VERY clean, they have everything you need from extra pillows and blankets, to literally a kitchen sink Plates, cups, eco friendly, and its quiet

We stayed on a Friday night and it was packed but completely silent Decor was cute, and I’ve never seen more counter space in my life The only thing I can think of that someone might be upset about is the size of the bathroom Compared to everything else it was pretty small but super clean and well put together Highly recommend giving a try if your looking for a quiet clean space that has everything you could think of and more

My family stayed @ Larkspur Landing hotel in Sacramento, California briefly and our experience was awful and we’ll never returnThe parking lot didn’t look monitored, and there were used syringes everywhere, so gross On check in our room looked nothing like the photos online, it looked grotesque and depressing

And the bathroom had maintenance issues We were going to check out due to all of the above but we had dinner plans that evening so we just dealt with it When we were there a front desk “manager” (a Caucasian woman in her 40s? with circa 2005 yellow highlights) was repeatedly unpleasant Said manager was also hostile and ignorant towards me when I needed something simple for our room The sheer amount of ugliness that this “manager ” kept projecting at us seemed personal, so I rightfully critiqued her for it Despite us trying to avoid her, the next day that same”manager” maliciously attacked us in the lobby about my criticism from the previous day I guess she couldn’t handle someone standing up to herThis “Manager’s” self entitled child-like buffoonery projected at us was vile at that point We didn’t owe her the time of day so we immediately disengaged with that “manager” and left the lobby We ended up speaking to the GM of the hotel , and he apologized profusely for that incidentAlso, per my request I was assured by the GM that we wouldn’t have to engage with said manager again for the remainder of our stayHowever, we were over it And thankfully we cut our stay short at this trash hotel and booked a suite at a cleaner hotel with a classier staff ( Marriott) The staff there couldn’t have been nicer and more professional, and the property was gorgeous and well maintained It ended up being an absolute perfect fit for us, so thank you Marriott

For the price, it is an extreme value! The premises are very clean and clean smelling The amenities are top-notch in the breakfast is better than most of the continental breakfast you see Also the staff is extremely accommodating

The only small downside is that the room was a tad small and TV HDMI were both malfunctioning Not a big deal for me though It was a very great experience

This was probably one of my worst experiences at a hotel Came from the bay to attend the bubble race with my 2yr old Check-in was fine, the woman at the front desk was very kind and pleasant

She offered to put me where it would be a little more quiet When we got to the room Friday night, noticed ants all over the bathroom, they said they would send someone up and that never happenedThen when we got back to the room to sleep, there was an extremely loud party that went on until 3am (Not the hotel’s fault) but none the less very disruptive “Breakfast” the next morning was horrible It seemed like it was just pastries scattered around from the local grocery store The creamer for the coffee was all the way spoiled and the woman at the front didn’t make an effort to change it or remove the spoiled creamer I tried to canceled my room for the second night to no avail That night, the fire alarm goes off at 4am and disoriented, I had to grab my 2yr old and rush him outside in the rain We were outside for about a half hour before they let us back in The next morning in an effort to let my son sleep considering the night he had, I asked if we could get a late check-out (check-out is at noon, I asked for 1pm) the front desk attendant was extremely rude and wouldn’t let us nor would give me a reason why I couldn’t Overall is was a horrible experience and I would highly recommend people look elsewhere, especially for the price (spent $320 for 2 very disruptive nights)

I have been coming here for 3 years with my company and have had nothing but great experiences The staff has always been great and Christopher working the front desk is the absolute nicest and most helpful person when ever you need anything All other staff is great, rooms are clean and quality, and the front patio area is great for grilling and hanging out in long stays

Out of all the Residence inns I’ve been in this is by far my favorite, keep doing what you’re doing!

Incredible staff and a great experience We came to the Residence Inn last minute after a travel delay and couldn’t have had a better experience The room was everything we needed and more: with a full kitchen, expansive bathroom, comfortable bed, and large TV

The amenities and breakfast on site was top notch Most of all, the service was excellent Jacob, from the front desk, took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond at all times to make sure we were taken care of Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had because of Jacob’s caring service throughout our stay Absolutely would stay here again

I’m giving a 5 star because the hotel is brand new and I love the Marriott brand As I’m nearly a titanium elite member, they have always and continue to provide exceptional service and this is no different at this property HOWEVER…do not stay here unless you don’t mind an extremely hot room

When we got into our room it was 74° inside and because California is maniacal about emissions, the air will not come on until a guest is present in room More importantly even with the air on we never broke 70° This is extremely uncomfortable for my family and I and I feel that customer satisfaction should be most important I cannot confirm or deny that the thermostat may have been bypassed, however one would speculate that even if it had, it still could not get lower than 70°Cleanliness was a small issue and it wasn’t anything that was visible to first look We moved one of the end tables away from the bed and behind it was a lot of trash To me it’s not that big of a deal but others might not appreciate that so muchOtherwise this property is conveniently located near many shops and big box stores and as I said appears to be fairly new One highlight was the breakfast bar Very clean Well prepared food and plenty of stock for all taste buds!Again, Marriott delivers just about every time but the cooling is an issue*edited* this is the first property that doesn’t respond to reviews (Not many anyways)

My experience – This company did not honor its promises and showed complete disregard for the customer Why? I made reservations weeks in advance for a 2 bedroom with riverside views This was a special mother-daughter trip with my mom, who is 93

When we arrived, I was told the reservations would not be honored because they overbook reservations Their attitude was that as a customer, I did not matter, and I had to take what they gave me So, I had to settle for a room with one bed and one pull out sofa The sofa was hard and dumpy The bed my mom slept in had one sheet We requested house keeping but did not get on their schedule, so no cleaning The safe we needed for our jewelry was brokenThe attitude and actions of this hotel were extremely disappointing I have been to other Embassy Suites and never experienced such disregard It was especially clarifying when I overheard another person who had reservations six months in advance and they were not honoredI should note that they did give me a discount on the lousy room that was provided However, a discount does not make up for spoiling a portion of a well-planned and special visitI would not recommend this Embassy Suites

It is difficult to describe excellence in a few short sentences but here goes: Location: just a few short blocks and easy walk to downtown, and very close to the river front trails and old town Rooms: the rooms are very well appointed with high quality amenities They main lobby is incredible with a beautiful atrium and places to sit and dig the amazing vibe

Staff: All of the staff here was incredible We brought our small dog and staff were very accommodating with our little pup and we very much appreciate that touch They never once questioned anything about our dog Of course we are responsible pet owners and made sure she could use the bathroom outside Food: Incredible coffee and a breakfast that will leave you satisfied and fulfilled It was truly scrumptious Thank you Embassy Suites for an amazing stay We will be back!

Great rooms, nice location Breakfast was great with lots of varietyCheck in was sub par- there were 4 people at the front desk including concierge, but only 3 checking in the line of guests that extended out the door

Could have been friendlierValet parking is required, otherwise you pay $25 to park in the garage across the street
