The hotel was extremely conscious of being cleanly The complimentary breakfast is over and above so wonderful the kitchen staff are amazing The front desk people are really nice and housekeeping helped me with any thing that I needed thing that I was disabled it was a few things

This hotel was so nice I think I could invent a reason to come back! The room was really big and the rolling shower was excellent It was hard to get to the pool area with a wheelchair without help The door is heavy Everywhere else was fine, even ice machine!

100% recommend! We are a family of 4 and try to keep things budget friendly yet comfortable I was so happy with this hotel and especially the staff! Everyone was SUPER friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was really good! Our kids had a great time in the pool and enjoyed this hotel so much I can’t recommend it enough, especially for the price, awesome deal! We will be back for sure!

We were supposed to be celebrating our son’s wedding but this stay turned into an absolute nightmare I called on 2/11/22 to ask if there was a handicap accessible room as my husband & I are disabled I was assured by the person with whom I spoke that she confirmed with the hotel there was 1 room, which she booked for 2 nights, 2/18-2/20

We got to the hotel to change & headed right out to the rehearsal dinner It wasn’t until we returned that we noticed the toilet was so rediculously low I had trouble getting up & there were no bars near the toilet nor anything I could grab to get up We had to call paramedics twice that night because of a couple of episodes I noticed the shower was also not handicap accessible I was assured on the phone it was a walk-in shower but it was a tub & only had 1 grab bar for assistance After the 2nd call to paramedics at 4 am, they arrived but had to wait a few minutes because no one was at the front desk Throughout the night we expressed our frustration with the situation, lack of disability aides (seat riser, grab bars, shower, etc) for persons with disabilities & the front desk clerk was the only person there As I was packing to leave, I noticed there were only TWO handicap parking spaces for the entire hotel! Also, the curtains didn’t close, the middle panel was sheer, so there was no privacy We left at 5 am, my husband missed our son’s wedding because of all that happened & additional pain he was in from the waiting

Arrived around 8pm and was greeted more with a grunt than a smile, almost as if I inconvenienced herAside from that, the checking in process was rather quick and painlessRoom was warm when I entered because the window was cracked open

This is Arizona It’s 100 degrees outsideTook a long time to cool the room down but it did eventuallyBed was comfortable and everything else was niceRefrigerator and microwave is a big plus

Alyssa Robertson (Starkillersbae)

Most of the experience was great I would however say that for the price, I’d probably stay somewhere else next time I was highly disappointed by the amount of things on all of the walls that could have easily been cleaned off with just a small bit of effort on the part of the cleaning crew

We also found small hairs on the comforter of other people and when I asked for another comforter they said they didn’t have any and gave me random blanketsI shouldn’t have to tell my children they cannot touch the walls, or use the beds sheets/blankets when we paid $250 for a total of 13 hours I ended up going to target and buying sheets myself to cover the beds because I just couldn’t trust it it makes me sad because this is where we typically stay when ever we need a hotel

Good location but service wasn’t great Asked for towels and to change our beds They put bedding just inside the doors (which I guess is fine) but didn’t take any used towels

Didn’t remove any garbage from the rooms for 7 days we were thereAlso, we were informed that the pool was out of service for the whole staywhich is why we booked here Would have been good to have a credit or knowledge prior to arriving

Rebecca Kinder

We had a room issue upon arrival and Dorlan, the resort manager, went above and beyond to resolve the issue The resort staff were friendly and accommodating Rooms were spacious and clean

The location of the resort is quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, which was perfect for our family of six My children greatly enjoyed the basketball court, playground area, and especiallythe pool, which also had a basketball goal and various pool rafts and toys for the kids We also appreciated the close proximity to Usery Mountain Regional Park, which had some great hiking trails A great place for a family to stay while vacationing!

Heather Brown

Overall, it was a great place to stay with kids They have a pool, 2 Jacuzzis, sand volleyball, basketball court, shuffleboard, and ping pong tables The downfall to thus place is what everyone has said, the walls are very thin, and you can hear your neighbor like if they’re standing right next to you

Also, no one ever came to clean room or brought clean towels I also requested 2 beds but only got 1 king, employee said they were all booked and could not switch our room, yet the 3 rooms surrounding us and 2 across from us remained empty our whole stay But the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable after a long day I would stay again

Clean Spacious Comfortable

Room had a very well appointed kitchenette including a full size fridge, microwave and dish washer Huge TV! I appreciated the rolling desk, ergonomic office chair, and copious amounts of electrical outlets Breakfast was above and beyond a continental breakfast seen anywhere else and would rival an all inclusive resort Staff was friendly and approachable

Ashley H

Perfect hotel in a great location, grace and staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay Clean, quiet and tons of outdoor living space which is great Views of the mountain or golf course behind which is also a great course

There is an airport about 5 miles down the road so during the day you do have small planes overhead which we actually enjoyed, do not believe others who say its too loud, we’re on the 4th floor and had zero issues All in all probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in!

Yes I never got the chance to stay there because you were very rude and disrespectful on the phone! It’s okay to just serve 55+ community but you don’t have to say that I’ll never find a place for me and my family Take your negative and shut it up! So to all young families looking for RV parks don’t waist your time on calling because this place takes out their frustration on your call and questions Oh and by the way we found a beautiful park on a very nice , clean and new RV resort in Arizona that are super friendly as welcoming

So not all Arizonions are rude!!!

I am not share why people are not giving Bobby and Kim better ratings Yes, this is a small, locally owned and operated park Bobby and Kim live on site so any issues are handled very quickly

I am still a bit green when it comes to the RV world, but I did find out very quickly that adding “Resort” to the park name means you can charge at least 50% more Last summer I stayed in two such “resort parks” and what I paid for one week is close to what I paid for a month at The Tiffany No, there are no pools, hot tubs, organized outings, etc, but I don’t use these things so why pay for that What The Tiffany offers is a small community of people that get to know your name Yes, the spaces are a bit smaller, but I don’t need a large area as I am not here to host a partyTo start with, Bobby will speak with every person before they submit a reservation request I like the idea especially since I am a widowed senior woman traveling with my furry kids This park is for longer stays as there is a bit more paperwork involved Bobby was great in helping me to get my rig backed into my slot After one month being there, I was very pleased with the envirnoment and asked to stay longer Thankfully, Bobby and Kim were able to make a few adjustments and I was able to stay in the same spot I ended up staying in my one spot for close to six months before heading outDuring my six months stay, Bobby and Kim helped me out when I had accidently locked myself out when I took my pups out for the last evening duty time When my propane was getting low, I learned about extended stay propane setups from Bobby so I didn’t have to move my RV These two people are wonderful and I enjoyed getting to know themAre there things that can be improved upon, of course, there is always room for improvement In my six months there, I found only a few things that could be handled The biggest one is that the lot needs to be resurfaced Asphalt lots in AZ take a beating and one is no different The only thing that I saw was the fencing between The Tiffany and the neighbors to the west needs to be taken care of with TLC This might not even be The Tiffany’s fence!Do I recommend this great little park to others coming into town for a while, you bet I do! In a heart beat!

Amazing campground hosts! Front desk lady sorry I think it was Elaine was so helpful with assisting with our 5nt stay in KK2 cabin Not really a fan of how you enter in and out of the cabin as it’s loud going in and out Bathrooms kept clean and grounds, pool, and hot tub well tended too

Need more trees and maybe a shade drop down in front of cabin swings on other side of little porches as the sun is super bright in Arizona Cabins clean and ac worked like a charm

Rita Figueroa

Very convenient location, it was quiet most of the time but I was backed in on the street side so there was some noise from passing cars that had their music on loud The people were friendly and bathrooms were clean Only thing is they need more trash cans, I never did find were the trash area was so I dumped my trash in the can next to the bathrooms

Katie

Get ready, this is a long one During this stay we have had more power issues than we have at any other park in the 8 months we have been full time traveling We lost power 3 times on their end

We have been here only 4 days It’s 90°-100° right now & we have animals inside our rig We are so thankful we came home early or things could have been very bad They also don’t tell you it’s happening at all either so we wouldn’t have even gotten a phone call all day That to me is extremely concerning If we would have came back to no power or a/c after being out for the day & our animals had been in there in this weather I would have been so extremely angry to say the very least We are also not allowed to use generators at this time, as told by front desk lady “if you use it, we will call fire marshals & have you sited” No one who works here even seemed concerned about the issue which makes it seem like this happens oftenWe were told by the front desk lady WITH the manager next to her agreeing “the best we can do is check you out early without a refund & you can find somewhere else to stay”Yikes extremely poor answerWe took it upon ourselves to call the power company because they kept claiming it was all their fault The power company was concerned, had no idea what they were talking about & said it’s nothing on their end it’s the KOA Apparently they aren’t getting a voltage check like they need to since their power keeps doing this due to laziness or lack of careI give it one star because I don’t find that safe for anyones pets, especially in this heat I also give it a one star for not being told about the power issue That’s a problem A courtesy call would have been greatly appreciated but instead the same woman upfront also said “what do you want me to do about it? It’s 100° & we don’t have your number” So apparently they don’t write your number down with your reservation then? Which is again another disappointing answer The fact that she said that seeing nothing wrong with it, like yeah, that’s the point, that’s the issue here Yet again another red flag After our experience here we will be staying somewhere else this winterThis place also does not do refunds, which makes sense since they probably wouldn’t make much if they did Again, one star also due to very poor business here, cognitive dissonance & lack of empathy Front desk was very disrespectful & did not care about our concerns Such a “not my problem” kind of attitudeThere are currently people with no power still as I am writing this & no one has been called which means who knows how many animals are baking in peoples trailers & rvs right now It’s sickening to say the very least Just a heads up for any others who are thinking about this place because we are now having to call about staying somewhere else Not the type of stay we had in mindPlease do better at this location With how staff acted about very concerning issues (especially front desk lady) I doubt this review will be taken serious but this was the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had at a KOA

Checking in was good Went to the room and the air conditioner was not turn on in the room It was a 110 outside! Turn on the air conditioner took about hour to cool down plus it was very noise hard to sleep

The carpet need to be replaced lots of stains and looks dirty Breakfast was okay but no oatmeal or bananas most of the hotel breakfast do offer those items

Jim Tolbert

I measure Comfort Inn’s with the yardstick of a good Holiday Inn Express This hotel didn’t make the “good” Holiday Inn Express measure It was clean and didn’t smell, so I would stay there again – and it was reasonably priced and on the outskirts of the metro Phoenix area – a great stop for my travel that took me to Albuquerque the next day

I stayed there twice on two trips through Both rooms were a bit cramped and smaller than Holiday Inn Express rooms; Breakfast was edible The whole experience was acceptable, but not 5-star for this level of hotel Decent stay, but not great

James Williams

Hotel was okayStaff were friendly and efficient but our room was disappointing It was on floor 2½ and the elevator only went to floor 2 It overlooked the entry canopy and the big windows afforded a good view of the sunrise

The room itself was very cramped and there weren’t enough flat surfaces to put things onBathroom was almost the same size as the room but the shower was pretty feeble and the toilet had an old, worn round wooden seat that made it like pooping through the hole in the middle of a Lifesaver mintThe air conditioner in the room looked like it had been punched in the mouth and rattled like a freight train but I found the rattling could be subdued by wedging the chair up against itBreakfast was okay-quite a cramped breakfast room and my wife thought the waffles tasted a bit odd

I lost an item at this location and it’s pretty obvious housekeeping found the item and didn’t turn it in! That makes me furious because it’s a priceless item and it would’ve been nice if they were nice enough to turn it in but they didn’t They just played dumb when I kept asking about the lost item If you stay here don’t leave anything behind bc you’ll never see it!

We had a really great experience all around We travel often for work and bring our toddler with us, and this hotel met all our needs It was very clean, quiet, and had a well-equipped kitchen

The sheets felt like they had been in use since 1998, but that’s my only complaints Also special compliments to the staff who took our stay to the next level Ethan who checked us in went above and beyond, better than some five star resorts we have stayed at The person checking us out this morning was very helpful and friendly too Would stay here again

Cooper Marquez

When we arrived, they kindly said that none of the rooms where ready, so we asked if we could just leave our luggage by her desk so that they won’t over heat when we wee out at soccer all day Immediately they double checked and it turned out, a bunch of rooms that were reserved nobody showed up As we headed on outside to grab stuff from the car, the manager rushed out to tell us that good news, getting us in a room right away

Props to the Manager and only desk employee for their quick service, getting us a room early, and going above and beyond at our stay Great job to the manager for hiring hard-working staff That manager worked her butt off making guests feel at home!

DaLeesia Simmons

Never stayed at a Home2 location and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was It was very clean, rooms were a nice size, they had a nice continental breakfast, and the amenities were great I love the fact that rooms were equipped with a full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher

Osman Cruz

I like that the place is very clean I like that the rooms have good big enough and have enough counter space to put our belongings on and not on the floor I do like the bathroom and shower size

They pillows on the bed felt very comfortable and good I can tell they do maintain their building and make sure nothing is out of place I can’t escape to pay attention to things in hotel rooms I do that all the time I look for things, not necessarily to complain but to report those things to the main desk so no one else gets hurt At this room we stayed at, nothing was out of place as I said I really enjoyed our stay there

Erin Wofford

You get what you pay for The whole place has an updated “hostel” vibe Only difference is you get your own room and bathroom

When you first walk in you can’t tell if you walked into the lobby of the hotel or a cafe of some kind We booked a king room, where you get all the typical amenities The room was so small however there was barely room for two suitcases There was about 2 feet on each side of the bed When you look at the photos on their website, their king room is showing the entire room minus the bathroom The mattress was lumpy, and the springs in it squeaked with every little movement The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired Lastly, the hot water in the shower had no middle ground It was either really hot or luke warm which would fluctuate between being cool and too hot The room was clean though and staff was friendly

Amy R.

The building, rooms, and stay were all very pleasant Everything is clean and it smells nice The front desk staff is a little odd and the lady that was there this morning was rude and argumentative

We kept having to go down stairs to have our room keys reactivated The lady insisted it was all because the key card was next to my cell phone Sure, maybe that would cause my key card not to work, but that wouldn’t deactivate our electronic key or the other card Breakfast was pretty good Coffee was good I enjoyed the toiletries The lemon body wash and lotion smell divine All in all, I would stay here again Shopping was also very close!!

My Wife and I visited for a 3 day weekend and golf lessons to celebrate our anniversary It was a wonderful experience all around! Our 2-day Golf School with Arlene was an absolute blast, she is fantastic and made the experience well worth it for both my Wife and I, we will definitely be back The views and grounds are beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, and our outdoor jacuzzi patio hit the spot as well as the on-site Spa date for my Wife

Do take in mind that this is an older property from a Lodging/Resort standpoint bordering the wilderness so don’t expect the rooms to be the ritz, but the great value reflects that Will definitely make this place a yearly getaway spot!

Ended up just driving home at midnight instead of staying here The outside of the resort is beautiful but the rooms are in desperate need of updating and sound proofing There was a significant musty smell and felt like a 2 star hotel with 4 star square footage (big rooms and cool layouts at least)

It feels like it was built in the 80s and just never updated or cared for Clean, but never cared for or updatedFood at the restaurant is very very good, one of the bartenders we had was amazing (can’t remember her name though), and the wait staff is great – the manager was not the best though Everything closes early and opens late in the morning, even on the weekends, making it difficult to have events here or larger groupsWith better hours and renovated rooms, this place could be amazing It’s just not right now

My wife and I have attended many events at Gold Canyon Golf Resort and have always enjoyed the professionalism of service we have received from Charlene and her staff at these events From the excellent food selections we have enjoyed and been served to the ambiance and atmosphere that Charlene and her team provides, it allows one to have a delightful experience That exceeds anywhere else in the Valley! While attending a wedding and reception 2 weeks ago, we can only say that once again, Charlene and her team of service professionals have outdone themselves!Thank you again Charlene and all of your Staff for going up and above for a wonderful evenings experience of a high quality Of food, facility, and friendliness that is always enjoyed by all in attendance at any of the Gold Canyon Golf Resort events! This is why we keep coming back!

I dud not stay at this bW but we did visit tge var/restaurant attached What a disgusting excuse of a manager After ordering fountain drinks we could not get waited on to order food

The waitress was playing with her phone and after a while we walked out to leave The manager followed us out to the parking lot cussing that who in (f) did we think we were ordering those fountain drinks and then just walking out without paying for them I trued to explain but he was having none of it and continued to use tge (f) word Still he would not listen to me and continued cussing I gave him ten dollars for the drinks abd told him to keep the tip and we would never be back Two of us in our mid seventies and one lady in her early eighties and we should never have had to go through that Hard to believe Best Western would be associated with someone like that! To Be sure I’ll be telling my friends from Gold Canyon about this and to spread the word to not patronize this place!
