Stopped here on my way home from vacation Would’ve rather just drove the last 5 hours The floors were sticky and nasty

Probably haven’t been mopped in months Was charged “extra” cause we’re not from the area? Never heard of this being done in ANY hotel I’ve ever stayed at Ridiculous My hotel on the beach with an ocean front view in Myrtle Beach cost less than this garbage place

First off, the staff were helpful and the one star review is not because of them Rather, it’s because of the outdated design, non-smoking rooms that reek of cigarette smoke The walls were stained and the floor was sticky and disgusting

Although I will say the cleaning staff did a good job of preparing the room, as in folding the sheets, making the bed, giving us ample towels, but the rooms are just so rundown, and that’s what merits the 2-star review

a minute ago on GoogleI do not write negative reviews often, hardly ever, truthfully I don’t like doing so But save your time and money, steer clear of this hotel

We booked a room for 3 days, checked in, got the keys, and headed to the room Thankfully we checked out the suite before bringing our belongings inside There was dust and dead bugs in the corners, cigarette holes in the mattress cover, broken lamp shades, and 2 live cockroaches One crawling up the side of the tv, the other crawling up the side of the mini fridge We promptly headed back to the check in desk where we explained that we will be canceling our reservations and would like to request a refund The staff was SO kind and understanding They were swift with their assistance and apologetic We were charged a $100 cancellation fee and are in the process of receiving our money backOur room was on the bottom floor, corner unit, the furthest away from the rental office (Suite #113? #130? Something like that)

Shawna was so warm and welcoming! From the moment I arrived I felt valued and she was extremely courteous! She was so genuine and was professional She was engaging and you really have a great team Breakfast workers were also very kind

The housekeeping team Top notch! Even the man who was mopping He mopped half of the floor so you could walk in and out on dry floor and then did the other half But Shawna- she stole the show! You got lucky with so wonderful people!

We had a really good stay Our room was very clean and spacious and it had a balcony which we enjoyed It is on the older side but it was well maintained

It had a nice pool and patio area We used the workout room which could use some updating We ate at the restaurant and the tavern They were short staffed the first night but we weren’t in a hurry and our food arrived quicker than we anticipated The hotel/restaurant staff were all very friendly and accommodating We will stay here again on our return trip

Easy check in – Gabby at the front desk was so nice, fast and professional! Probably the best since I became a regular guest I hope they keep her My room was clean and shower power was unexpectedly awesome

HOWEVER, there was a consistent chirping in my room – it was not the fire alarm, I dismantled it and took the battery out and it kept chirping every 30 seconds or so I alerted the front desk when I checked out (I did also call the front desk once I checked in, they were to send a tech, do not know if that happened) I did not notice the chirping during sleep, THANK GOODNESS but it was very present when I got ready in the morning

This review is Only about the bar/restaurant service Over the last few years we have tried having a patio meal in good weather, and we have been told no service They have a nice new patio and in covid times, the best location

Yesterday the server said it was a busy day with graduation and couldn’t serve patio The restaurant/bar was hardly busy, and what a better reason to allow customers to be served at the patio to celebrate graduations! Over the last couple of years, 6 times at least I have been told the patio is closed for service More often than not, the solarium can’t be used either because of an event Simply put, I don’t think we are going there again Service is clearly lacking!

We stopped here on our way home from North Carolina, and I made the reservation over the phone, and the guy was very helpful and nice in answering my questions We got there, and every worker we interacted with was just so nice and welcoming We had just had an awful experience at a Hilton (worst hotel customer service I have ever had), and to end our trip at a hotel where everyone was very helpful was a really nice ending to our trip

Very clean, nice breakfast, very friendly staff, and very reasonably priced! We were very pleased with our stay, even with a 3 month old! The beds are very comfortable and my hair actually feels amazing after using the provided shampoo and conditioner, which is rare for me in a hotel! And we loved having a later checkout than most hotels we have stayed in!

Room and staff seemed great however my 5 year old woke up at 3am and was upset saying his legs hurt so I took a look and seen little red marks went to the Dr next day and found out they were bed bug bites at first the staff were understanding and said that it had been brought to their attention by other guests then the next day some manager calls and accuses me of using to much soap and threatend to call police on me seems like a joke but not after talking to their corporate I was refunded and offered free stays but would never stay there again be sure to sterilize anything you brought home from there so bedbugs don’t infest your home like that hotel total nightmare but other hotels next door that are cheaper and much better quality

Location is convenient to Athens, however, it is difficult to get to the road Don’t rey on Google maps Room was very clean and comfortable

There was a microwave and refrigerator The refrigerator sits on the floor and is difficult to access Rooms are dated and could use a little update, especially more outlet locations I would have given 5 stars, but the ac unit is too loud to be able to sleep Would stay there again, but not in really warm weather
