My fiance and I were pretty exhausted getting to this hotel on a long road trip The location wasn’t bad and we were easily able to get a room for us and our cat The rooms were clean which is my bare minimum requirement

The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and one of the entry doors wasn’t working The lotion had been used and the soaps were mismatched but they workedIf you need a quick place to crash this will do the trick just don’t expect anything fancy

Say Kost

The room smelled like pee and the door to the rooms are kinda broken They don’t open correctly so I have to shove the door open Was informed wrong on the phone that there was a pool air was broken and hair blower was smoking

They didn’t clean correctly so there is people clothes under the bed and there is food still InThe fridge is smells really bad Don’t recommend spend you money elsewhere

The front desk worker was very nice, and the breakfast was good That’s the only plus to this stay The safe wasn’t usable it was locked, the room was dirty, door was hard to open/close, fridge didn’t work, ac turned on, but even set at 61 it wouldn’t blow any air

Pillow case had a mark/stain bed skirt was dirty with marks, all of the drawers should be wiped out they were gross hard to capture a good picture to actually show how they truly looked Empty condom box in the nightstand The conditioner bottle must have been left from the last person that stayed and they didn’t put a new one in because I barely got a dime size drop out of it I would have asked for my money back and went elsewhere if every other motel wasn’t booked that I had called (Moving to a new room wasn’t optional either because I knew there were also no other open rooms available there) pets shouldn’t be allowed in the breakfast area I felt terrible for the little dog that sat there and scratched himself the entire time and all I could think was poor thing must have flees

I had a family emergency and had an early flight out of Bismarck Drove down night before and checked into the hotel The manager gave me a 20% discount and even offered to drive me to the airport at 430 am the next morning to catch a flight

I appreciate the humanity that this manager showed me and will definitely stay here again

Michelle Evans

The price was cheaper than some The bed did the job & I got some sleep Breakfast buffet is good

The room has a horrible smell that doesn’t go away Probably the carpet as there are stains on it There is a sock under 1 of the beds that doesn’t belong to us Guess they don’t vacuum under beds or they would have found itOh & the icing on the cake You aren’t informed of any “Covid-19” policy info until after you call to ask why your towels aren’t getting picked up & you have no fresh ones in your room Housekeeping doesn’t go into rooms daily for garbage & towels I was NOT told this during booking or check-in The sign in our bathroom tells us to leave the towels on the floor None of the staff or housekeeping are wearing mask so do you just pick & choose what “Covid-19” policies you want to use for your convenience Open breakfast buffet for guest seemed pretty busy w/ no Covid restrictionsThis is July 2022 so quit using Covid to get out of taking care of your customers

The reason why I chose this hotel in the first place over the Marriott brands was because it was the only place in town that had an airport shuttle So I went with this property and wasn’t disappointedThe welcome beverage tickets are fantastic I just couldn’t believe it

I got down to the lounge area and it was a great atmosphere! I was actually shocked and told the waitress and bartender that this is way exceeded my expectations! The fried food and drinks were good and a great price After dining went back to my room and had a very comfortable bed Overall stay was fantastic and I will be definitely coming back to this property

Rhonda Antonson

We stayed while traveling back home to Alabama from Glacier National Park We arrived fairly late in the evening and the desk manager was super friendly and accommodating although he had 2 phone lines ringing and his shuttle dispatch radio was broadcasting He upgraded us to a King room because of the distractions, although they didn’t bother me at all – he was going his job and doing it well

The room was huge! Very clean and well supplied with all the amenities The bed was pretty comfortable and the breakfast was great! Eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, breads for toasting, oatmeal with add ins, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffees, etc I highly recommend!

Penance Grace

Best price on rooms in Bismarck And pets are welcomed that is a huge deal! and it is a nice place not like your normal rundown pet hotels Good breakfast had everything you would want

And we went swimming as the pool opened and the pool was very nice temp I was really pleased But I would have rated a 5 star if staff in room area were even able to hear at all everyone had headphones on and we waved and yelled and we were totally ignored Even thou to she made eye contact Seemed rather rude We just needed a bit of direction I like entertainment too but I could not ignore someone squeezing by me in a hallway

This is really a nice hotel Clean, comfortable, quiet, and with good appliances and professional and courteous staff A few things I’ll point out to management, though:1

) Luggage carts This place apparently has TWO luggage carts Please expand this to at least 5, and more ideally 7-8 Seriously, if I come back to this hotel in the future and there are still only 2 luggage carts, I’m downgrading my rating2) Lose the TV in the lobby, or at least the sound Guests coming in, like myself, do not need to be subjected to whatever someone else chose to put on I haven’t watched television in about 10 years, personally, nor do I want to, for even a few seconds3) The disinfectants and aromas in the air are excessive, in my opinion I get it, and this really is a personal preference thing, but maybe consider toning it down My partner and I brought in air scrubbers to clean the chemicals out of the air, in our room Props for allowing the climate control systems to but shut off entirely, without modifying the thermostat This would be problematic in the summer, though, due to the desire for air conditioningOverall, this is a pretty top notch Residence Inn We will almost certainly revisit, at some point in the future (we travel full time) Thanks for a good stay

Belinda Aguilar

I had a mishap with the reservation I made for my birthday weekend, the representative who I spoke to originally booked the room for the following month After driving four hours to get here this was not the news I wanted to hear But Emmanuel at the front desk worked miracles & was able to help me book at another hotel that they paid for

I got to say that the customer service was by far some of the best I’ve ever experienced I just wanted to make sure that Emmanuel gets all the gold stars for his great service

Deb Isakson

The rooms were nice The 1st night, the pool was cold and hot tub not bubbling Next morning, pool a little warmer and hot tub working but a lot of chorline in there that it bleached out our swim tops so badly that even when we washed them when we got home it remained the same

Do u measure what u put in and test it? I could stilI smell chlorine on me when I got home last night, I showered after being in the hot tub Also, I must have left behind my phone charger, have called 2x, it has yet to be found, hhhmmmm!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent, the pool and hot tub were great, our room was nice and also very clean I was happy that there was an actually comforter on the bed You don’t usually find that in hotel rooms

We like the pool but the paint on the walls are cracking and peeling I think they need to put tile or something else on the walls Our bathroom was clean but the drain in the shower is missing its cover and should be replaced Also I have to say we thought the bed was very comfy! Overall we enjoyed it and had a great experience

Brian Nallon

Giving this 4 star because of the pool The hotel seems new, clean, and well kept, staff is good The pool and hot tub on their own are fine

But they both seem to have too much chlorine, and the hot tub is a bit too hot That combined with improper ventilation, makes it like a sauna in there The high chlorine left out eyes burning a bit These conditions are also leading to very accelerated wear to the walls, and anything metal getting rustyUpdated this to 5 star after we had the breakfast(food was fresh, and had a large variety), and comparing it to other hotels, I think this is a good value

Sharon

UNBELIEVABLE STAFF: I could not recommend this hotel more if I tried The staff here are absolute experts in the customer service and hospitality industry; if more employees were trained to mimic the golden standard these ladies set, customers would leave happy from any hotel I wish I remembered all their names, but a thank you to Jillian and her coworker who welcomed me in late 3/20/22 night and to Betty who took charge in ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible

Even the girls setting up the food made an effort to interact with you and offer what they could to meet your needsFREE BREAKFAST: When there was a part of my room that I felt could have been cleaned better, the front desk immediately sent someone over that day and left the area spotless They offer complimentary breakfast each morning and dinner during the week of my stay I wish there were healthy, natural foods offered Perhaps varying the fruit option to be more than just apples would be a quick fix for those with similar diets that missed out on enjoying this perkAMENITIES: Gym available, pool, and hot tub Never overcrowded Thank you to the staff who went out of their way to make my business trip into a vacationLOCATION: Walmart is right next door, and it is only a 10-15 min drive to get to Mandan or Bismarck Perfectly situated to save you time to hit snooze in the morningWOW! They really consider feedback too My face lit up as I saw some kiwis in the fruit section on my way checking out today

Had a lovely experience here staying one night with my husband and dog Staff were excellent: friendly, professional, and also fellow animal lovers The room felt inviting, was well decorated with plenty of room and very clean

They give out a small package with a disposable bowl, a tennis ball, and treats for doggos There is a pet relief area out front Comfy bed Would definitely stay again! Thanks for being so pet friendly/pet welcoming!

This was one of the finest Hampton Inns I have stayed at across the country, throughout the years I’ve been a Hilton Honors member I especially appreciated Mary and the rest of the staff for being so warm and welcoming, and accommodating during the week I stayed in Bismarck The complimentary breakfast was one of the best and I have had many different Hampton Inn breakfasts from Florida, Tennessee, and Illinois to Colorado and the Dakotas

It’s obvious when you stay here in North Dakota that they try to go above and beyond the usual Hampton Inn experience I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this location It was quiet and the location was great, with lots of restaurants, shopping, and medical facilities close by You can’t go wrong booking your stay here

This was THE Worst Hotel Experience in my entire life I’ve stayed at over 25 different hotels in my life, but nothing compares to this Me, My Son and my Wife were going to go to bed at 10:30 and try to be well rested for all of the running around the next day

What we didn’t expect was for there to be people running back in forth in their hotel room, jumping up and down, jumping on their bed, jumping off their bed, and stomping around for 2 HOURS STRAIGHT We went to complain to the hotel after an hour and a half but absolutely nothing happened So this time we went after another 45 minutes and the staff did NOTHING We ended up with zero minutes of sleep, a terrible next day, and when we went to demand a refund they said they could only do 50$ Which is RIDICULOUS 2 Weeks Later, My credit card gets charged THE FULL PRICE I am NEVER staying at another Hampton Inn and I recommend anywhere but this place

Check in/out was quick and the staff were all welcoming and helpful My room was clean, was surprised at how spacious the room and bathroom were Loved the Paul Mitchell hair products and the other bath items

The a/c was on when I came in so the room was comfortable and not too warm or stuffy The bed wasn’t too hard, had a great night’s sleep Breakfast was really good, was happy with my options and the warm food choices were the perfect temp so it was still warm when I sat down to eat

August Norman

Room was clean and nice and bed was comfy enough It was very noisy in the morning due to it’s proximity to the elevator We had to get toiletries from the front desk because they were not in the room

We also could only regulate the temperature of the room by unplugging the AC unit because the thermostat had no effect on itFree breakfast was solid too

Dan Bakke

The first time I stayed at a La Quinta Inn was back in 2014 I was very impressed We stayed at a La Quinta in Bismarck last night we were equally impressed! Very clean

Everything worked as it shouldJust a side note to people who stay at a La Quinta or any motel If something isn’t right, say something to the front desk to get it replaced or repaired For example: my wife and I stayed at another brand of motel a few weeks ago and all the outlets in the room were shot because we were going to plug our cell phone in to charge it it barely stayed in and had to have it just right in the plugin So I told the front desk and they were very glad I said something and were going to get maintenance on it to replace them It’s a win win for the motel and anyone staying there from that point on The motel cleaning crews concentrate on the way it looks and how clean it is, not the mechanics on how things work that’s our job to speak up if things aren’t rightThanks La Quinta, good job!

This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at Not only is it clean, it’s so quiet I would think I was the only guest here Beds are extremely comfortable and the sheets and blankets SMELLED so clean! Staff were beyond friendly and check in was a breeze

AmericInn is usually my “safe” choice because they’re decent, but this has far exceeded my expectations My job requires a good amount of travel, and my coworkers and I have a list of all the best hotels to stay at throughout North Dakota, and this one is going straight to the top I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Jill Gibbon

Reserved a suite for the hot tub in room, sofa bed and king size bed Room 118 The room smelled bad

Took the cushions off the sofa and found cheetos and other food crumbs Pulled the bed out and found stains Reported to the front desk and was asked if I needed to use the sofa bed Then offered a room with 2 queen size beds and use of the hot tub in the dirty room or use of the hot tub in the public area after hours 12 am Upon checking out we were told we had been given a discount It appears to be 45 dollars off We were moved to a lesser cost room so that is appropriate the room was smaller and not what we had reserved

I’ve stayed here many times over the past several years The quality of stay has been consistently excellent The staff has always been helpful and friendly without being patronizing or bothersome

They were there when I needed them, but not underfoot every time I moved The rooms are always clean The bedding is always fresh They don’t provide daily room service but it was never needed to begin with for short term stays There are more than enough supplies for a family of four for one evening If any room service is needed, you just ask and they take care of it The small refrigerator and microwave are taken care of and clean Everything works! The breakfast is always decent with plenty of variety There’s a reason I keep coming back when I’m in town

Marissa Roshau

We stayed here along with our entire bridal party and we would highly recommend! Stacy was incredible to work with and made it a breeze to set up a room block She was super responsive, kind, and helpful each time we reached out to her We even rented out the meeting room for the girls when getting ready (3 hairstylist and one makeup artist came) and it was a great experience

Stacy had the meeting room all setup and provided more extension cords when needed They also went out of their way to decorate our hotel room on the night of our Wedding! They treat you more than another guest here The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy!

C K (Nighthawk)

This is a decent hotel They do a good job in customer service and it is generally clean and decent Some of the rooms are getting a bit weathered and could use a few touch ups, which they have been slowly doing, but is defiantly an above average place to stay in Bismarck that is close to plenty of shopping and restaurants

I spend a decent amount of time here and have no complaints

The bathroom shower had mold along the tub and handle When we walked into the room there was a putrid smell blasted in your face No one came to clean our room

The front desk lady was really nice and she’s the only reason I didn’t give a one star There was a bikini top in the closet making it clear it was not cleaned The pool area is great except every time I would go down there would be at least one person to fall on the floor Would recommend if you don’t have a better option for a hotel

Heather Peterson

Rooms were very dirty Mold in tub Pool area was unenjoyable due to overcrowding, rowdy guests, nobody watching their children, and the pool was in desperate need of a cleaning

Front desk notified of rowdy guests with alcohol in pool area, nobody even came to check it out so no resolution There were people punching each other Children were climbing up the waterslide while people were going down, which did result in a bloody nose Very disappointed

Jessie Murray

Nice Rooms, great kitchenette suites! Good pool area with 2x separated pools and each has its own slide! Also a separate shallow kid pool and a hot tub as well! (essentially 3x pools) the kid pool area has a small slide and a waterfall area to play around as well! Good side rooms for meetings or family gatherings with less cleanup to deal with at home!!

The pool room is brightly lit and feels so fresh and clean Our room layout (studio queen) was awesomewith so much storage we didn’t have our luggage lying all over the floors Breakfast included an excellent selection I can’t wait to stay at another Home 2 Suites and hope it’s just like this one

This Home2 Suites location is consistently top notch The rooms are clean and very spacious with a fridge, microwave, dishes, and anything else you might need to settle in for a while I appreciate the little things like the personal welcome on my TV when I arrive

I love being able to easily connect to my streaming services The digital key and being able to choose my room is a great feature The location is great Near a grocery store and major retailers The breakfast has an amazing variety This hotel is great for families but even better for those traveling for business The only thing that could make it better is having a reception for weeknight guests or offering adult beverages in the sundry area Will stay here every time

The staff definitely have pride in the hotel They are pleasant and, the hotel is clean, the location is very nice close to many amenities Michelle helped us significantly with a joining rooms

It took her about 10 minutes to give us rooms that were together It was greatly appreciatedWe were staying there during the April blizzard and some of the staff could not get home and had to stay at the hotel They still provided a wonderful breakfast and kept the hotel very clean This is the only hotel I stay at when I’m in Bismarck

Clean, efficient, and modern This Courtyard was comfortable I only had a quick one night stay before continuing with my trip

The location is enough off the main drag to be away from traffic and noise There are a number of places to eat within walking distanceStaff was friendly and helpful with local questions Room and bed was comfortable Had a relaxing evening to settle from long driveI would consider staying here in the future I normally avoid Courtyard because of lack of free breakfast, but with cheap and repetitive free breakfasts after COVID, it’s becoming less of an issue (if I have time to stop at store)

Really close to a number of restaurants but, most close “early” Hotel itself is great Lots of parking, friendly staff

At this time the bar / food area is closedFind me on tiktok Lexlagger for a room tour! I tour all the hotels I stay at and post them there

Stayed here a few times and I had all clean rooms The last week that I stayed I must have had a bad house cleaner who cleaned the room before I got in it Found a nail clipping on my bed, long hair in the shower, the floor didn’t look vacuumed, and the soap dish was still caked in soap as well as the shower handle

All soap bottles were half full and the remote had an old well used plastic over itOther than that, the front staff of mostly friendly and the hotel is updated

My wife and I thought we booked one of the nicest places in town after doing our research There are two things that brought my rating down the first was my first experience at this place The lady that checked us in found our reservation but told me she didn’t have a room for me! After going the rounds with her for over an hour all of the sudden she found her mistake and we got our room just to be told the hot tub was out of order until march 2022

Otherwise it was a great stay great breakfast options nice room and a warm pool Other staff was amazing!

Customer service is very hard to find these days and the Manager at this motel went above and beyond! We were in a blizzard and I was unable to get home so I pulled in and she was so kind and welcoming They have great amenities evening and morning, nice clean rooms and free laundry services! I travel a lot but rarely rent in my own hometown but I’d highly recommend this motel to travelers!

Stay was just okay There wasn’t anything wrong with this hotel, but there wasn’t anything exceptional eitherRoom was smaller than expected, but clean

Bathroom was dated and could use some upgrades and new fixturesPool area was also small and hot tub was drainedDid not get up to try the breakfastFront desk staff was friendly and efficient, but with other options in Bismarck, I won’t be visiting this hotel again

Ray at the front desk, AWESOME! 5 stars for RayHe was detailed, friendly, and more like a concierge than a front desk clerk He made me feel at home the minute I walked in the door

I don’t see this service very often anymore, but Ray is the exception and I felt like I was checking into an Autograph Collection HotelWould have been a 5 star, but 2 stars taken away for the multiple issues in my bathroom that could easily have been taken care of with some TLC

This night, the hotel was maxed out at the seams Good for business Right

Lots of kids and families, full indoor pool, sparse workout room Ac was not working in our room, they gave us a fan and said this is the best we can doWe have a service dog and had requested a ground floor for easy outside access for potty breaks No notes of request where on our reservation What ever happened to being able to make a DIRECT reservation with the direct property you want to stay at ? Why do all reservation requests have to go outside of the US to make a domestic reservation ? They put us on the 3rd floorI get itit’s only a request, but dangwhat is was so hard about holding a reservation for a ground floor ??
