I went to Floating Green Restaurant as part of an excursion with my job The people were so kind and helpful I work with seniors and we had amazing employees escort our seniors to the restaurant on golf carts

They took time out of their busy day to help the seniors to and from the restaurant The only name I got was Annabelle and she was so kind and so amazingly helpful

The rooms were nice, the pool was well kept and heated well, the breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was also pretty delicious We really enjoyed the managers reception they offer from 5-7 to get a little cocktail to start the evening out on a relaxed note, and the kids appreciated the chips, sparkling water, and cute little toys they handed out

Fantastic experience Quaint setting oozing with charm and immaculately maintained, grounds and interior Room was elegant and clean

Breakfast was made to order and fresh Newly replaced hot tub and sauna were a great add-on Very friendly and helpful staff Highly recommend a stay here(I see a few complaints about the rooms not being large or “modern”, this is a place you go to enhance your experience with an older world charm, if you want a huge room with multiple big screen TVs, maybe this isn’t the place for you, but it is an experience everyone should try)

Lexy Long

The coolest place to stay in Coeur D’Alene We were welcomed as soon as we arrived Everybody was so kind and they delivered bread pudding and a beautiful rose to our room while we were settling in

They have two of the sweetest dogs playing around the yard We went to dinner at Beverly’s which isn’t too far It is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and bars on the lake but not bad The complimentary breakfast was a nice I had the homemade fruit pasties and the coffee There were also eggs, bacon, bagels and juices Super cute Inn, highly recommend

Michelle Haynes

Didn’t actually stay here so I can’t vouch for much of it, but stopped here on a Sunday after brunch with family who lives in CDA There was a small arts festival, live music, and some food going on in the garden area and out front in the street Really nice vibe, fun vendors

Went into the Roosevelt to look around Owner was decked out in vintage clothing, answered all kinds of questions Very accommodating Cool place

Hey Ace

This is an older motel that has been modernized You could tell the carpeting, paint, linoleum, etc was new and cared-for

I think the only thing that looked old was the tub The front desk was friendly and my requests for a quiet room were honored Parking lot is a little cramped but it worked out fine The best part is being able to walk to great places for dinner or breakfast Don’t expect more than a well-kept motel room, and you’ll be fine I would stay again

TriLiCiT STyLuS

Cannot emphasize enough how pleased I am with this hotel Called them in a pinch given an absolutely absurd negative experience I had at a motel down the street, ‘The Budget Saver’ and Jolie was absolutely awesome Took me in, helped save some money, and her hospitality is above and beyond

Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and the rooms are spectacular Microwave, fridge, about a 42 in tv, super comfortable beds, and most of ALL- CLEAN

This is a sweet historic property that has been renovated to maintain wonderful character The staff from the first person we met, serving in the restaurant, to the person cleaning the room, to all the servers and the food manager, Gabriel Cruz, were extremely accommodating and friendly Room was clean (and quaint), bed was comfortable, and the food was fantastic – a really interesting menu and so nicely presented

Convenient location for the whole downtown, shopping and the lake Loved our time – thank you We’ll be back!

Kristin Gardiner

This place was awesome! Neat older home which reminded me of some really popular/expensive places in my hometown people use for wedding venues and B&Bs It is within walking distance of pretty much anything you want to see/do The restaurant is amazing and we wish we had more time to enjoy another meal there

It was a fantastic value for what all you get and we would definitely stay here again

Lois Lane

stayed here last year and loved it This time the room seemed alittle run down We had the only balcony room in the whole place but it was very dirty with leaves and debres we didn’t want to hang outside

The location is very convenient to the water frontWe did have a very nice breakfast at a bakery down the road Usually they serve you breakfast but on Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant is closed so they gave us each a $15 gift card for a very delicious baked 2 blocks away

A good value

if you manage your expectations and compare it to other options in the areaFact is, CdA is wildly over-priced, more so now that the pandemic is over/ending/never occurred (this is Idaho, after all) Rate increases in this area are insane, though comparable to other regions that have a tourist-base Two rooms, each with king-sized beds, costs approx $360 (inclusive of taxes/fees) mid-weekThe good? Great central location Small town/privately-owned, non-chain, feel Designated parking spots Comfy (if firm) bed A/C All/most of the other amenities you need Contact with the desk was pleasant over the phone while making reservations Check-in was easyThe so-so? Dated decor The ‘theme’ idea is fun, even if the actual execution is a bit of a hodgepodge Cleaning is a bit suspect (there were spit-wads on one of the pictures in my room) The other room had an ‘off’ odorThe bad? Nothing really, again, if you manage your expectations You can stay at a chain and pay way too much You can also stay at a certain ‘resort’ and pay way, way, way too much Or you can stay at a quirky motel, save some money, and use it for other things Your callWould I stay here again? Sure Then again, I prefer odd places with a certain degree of quirky charm even if I would urge them to continue making small upgrades (new or no carpets, better cleaning, new bedding, etc) as their profits–slim though they might be–permitPS: Being ‘pet friendly’ is only a plus to those who like to stay in rooms with pets or that recently had pets in them For others, that might be a turn-off regardless of whether it is an emotional support or service animal (though it IS illegal to charge a fee for the latter)

Mechanic Man

Cute car-themed room, welcoming to our small dog We could not get either TV to work, not even the night clerk’s friend could help Kitchen had kind of a bad odor (someone had forgotten to empty the garbage disposal),certainly not a fancy motel, but the bed was comfy, area is quiet, and yes, would definitely stay here again

I love that our pets are welcome! Great location too–thank you for being there

Update: They are having staff issues and new maids are doing a poor job of cleaning the rooms, the second time we came here the side table had dust all over it, the coffee maker filthy TWO maids tried barging into the room with us in it! They aren’t being taught to KNOCK and the other doesn’t understand that the “I’m busy” sign means “do not disturb” I was sleeping and she pounded on the door and literally tried to forcefully enter (!!!) even with the sign in, nowhere NEAR checkout time! Holiday Inn needs to change the wording back! Front desk apologized, promised me 5000 points for the trouble but never gave it to me! Docking a star, that is unacceptable!—The room was beautiful, newly updated

The beds were very comfortable Breakfast was good, they actually brought out some bacon for once (we stayed a long time at a different IHG hotel and they only had bacon out once a week, if that)The landscaping was gorgeous! A waterfall out front and fires going, as well as a fire pit out back for guests The pool and hot tub looked nice, my teen kids enjoyed themThe convenience shop was too pricey, though $400 for a bottle of water!

Steve Hess

This is a nice hotel I especially enjoyed the real food offered for dinner, for a chain hotel I really felt like there was a b&b vibe I feel like everyone working there was happy to have me there

Cookies even!Breakfast was typical fare, all good and plenty of itThe rooms were clean and comfortable as well The hotel was easy to get to and close to a lot of the local attractionsI will be staying here every time I’m in the area

My friend and I stayed at this hotel July 20th and July 21 2022I cannot tell you enough how absolutely perfect this hotel is (I travel frequently so I am well aware of hotels)From the cleanliness, staff and wonderful happy hour food, we could not have asked for more

Although everyone was wonderful there, I want to give extra praise to Darla who prepped the food in the evening and served it I felt like I knew her my entire life She deserves something special as your employeeI also want to take the time to tell the owners and managers that whatever they are doing to create such wonderful staff keep doing it and if possible if you could go around the US and teach this to other hotels, I would greatly appreciate itI will definitely be back I have already referred your hotel to other fellow travelers against my better judgement because now you will be booked all the time

Joy in the office is amazing and super nice! we were even able to rent a run-about boat and they launched it and picked it up all the staff were very friendly as well! Sites are narrow (not a lot of grass between stalls) but worked for our needs

Beth Simondet

Mixed feelings about this campground Staff were plentiful and extremely helpful and friendly Bathroom/Shower/guest laundry room were really clean and kept up

Campsites were a bit tight Met a lot of nice people at this campground which was nice! Nice store and community fire pit to enjoy each night at 7:00pm There a dog park in the campground There’s a creek you can fish in, canoes and kayaks to rent too Now for the Super downfallsVERY LOUD traffic noise and very little WiFi at all!!! For those reasons alone we will not be going back there in the future!

The hotel is nice, it’s clean, we’ve enjoyed the pool The only downside is that we paid for a room with 2 queen beds, but the beds are full sized We measured them

The front desk says they are definitely queen size We sleep on a queen size at home, these are full size We spent $500 for 2 nights here, and we’re feeling a bit cramped on the bed Aside of that we have no complaints

John John

Room was really great Spacious, clean, well appointed, modern, everything in top working condition Bed was in great shape, pillows were excellent, nice comforter, huge name brand TV

Honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in recent memory I didn’t want to leave! Competitively priced, and nice staff to boot Would definitely recommend staying here

Marissa is amazing when it comes to working with her clients, being efficient, and staying driven She clearly has put much effort into where she is today The Blackwell Hotel was beautiful for my wedding night stay

She gave me clear communication as well as an effective plan for how things are going to work She took away A LOT of anxiety for such a big day The building is gorgeous, clean, and has a lot of thought put into it All of the rooms are so unique and gorgeous! I appreciate the breakfast in the morning as well! This was a very excellent choice for my wedding and I am glad we had the opportunity to stay <3 Once again, thank you, Marissa and Molly!

The Blackwell Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding Marissa and The Blackwell Hotel staff did a marvelous job making our wedding day flow smoothly from start to finish Marissa was so on top of things and made the wedding planning process all the easier and more enjoyable

It was so helpful having her wedding planning help and she did an outstanding job communicating with our many vendors The Blackwell Hotel itself was a lovely place to celebrate our wedding day The yard and grounds were pristine and the inside of the hotel provided a lovely backdrop for our photos So many guests told us how lovely the venue was I highly recommend The Blackwell Hotel along with Marissa and her team to make your wedding dreams come true!

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway weekend staying at the lovely Blackwell Hotel I personally love old homes and enjoy every little detail that was in keeping with the age of the building Having some on-site activities like the pool table was appreciated

The location couldn’t be beat either! It was only a short walk to many restaurants, shops, and bars we were interested in We would definitely return 🙂

This location is in the middle of the bustling town of Post Falls, ID Literally- you can WALK to Walmart in 10 min (and 5 of those minutes are just getting out of the campground!) Very convenient!Ample sites, full hookups

Concrete patio and picnic tables Mostly pull through sites except around the edgesFriendly staff who are quick to helpNice big office/community room with indoor pool*I didn’t check out the facilities, but they have app-based laundry

Kristi Kennedy

Pros: big park, close to town, friendly staff, nice bathrooms and a wonderful big field to play with kids and dogs inCons: rarely mowed lawn, small unkept dog runs, busy park with lots of traffic and people drive fast, laundry is expensiveNice park with a lot of potential

It is sadly pretty run down Needs a fresh coat of paint and maybe a couple more workers to keep the grounds clean Fence is falling apart and the big gazebo and basketball court is in shambles

Tara Carmody

Writing this review after both walking in to the facility and also calling JUST to inquire about rates 1st time I walked in and immediately I could tell my presence was unwanted “Maybe she was busy”, I thought, SO

I gave her the benefit of the doubt and decided to call a few days later instead to get the answer to my question The 1 minute call was ended tonight by the lady working there, with her voice raised at me, might I add, “LOOK I HAVE TO GO”All in all, I would never stay there I felt as if I was the biggest inconvenience ever for just inquiring about rates both times and the worst part is, I didn’t get an answer either way Customer service is important, I can’t imagine how they’d treat me if I was a “resident”

The workers here were very professional and friendly There were homemade cookies for the guests which was very sweet The breakfast was adequate and had multiple options

The pool and hot tub were nice although the jets on the tub didn’t work when we were there The rooms were clean and affordable Very quiet atmosphere, but do be aware there is no elevator so if you are disabled, be sure to book a first floor room

Ciara White

The entire hotel is pet friendly, they don’t have any rooms designated non-pet, so this is not good for allergy sufferers We had to try three different rooms to get one that didn’t smell like wet dog The hallway smells like dogs

Unfortunately for the first half of the day (immediately following our 1 night stay here) I had an allergy attack and had to use my inhaler 3x On a normal day I don’t use it This is not what I expect from a hotel that costs $250/night All of their double queen rooms are downstairs/not on the main level, and so if you need a double queen room it won’t be accessible I had unfortunately hurt my foot elsewhere just before getting to the hotel so it made moving the luggage a little tougher The pool is wayy too cold The breakfast was very tasty and perfect for sending us on our way Loved the ice water available near the front desk The hot tub temperature was comfortable and pool towels provided

A Google User

Normally I would not complain about hotels We had terrible customer service from the time we walked in We paid over $200 to stay for 1 night

Online the pictures and reviews looked great It was not at all like that There were cigarette burns in the shower curtain and the toilet was dirty The room smelled like cigarettes The hotel is advertised as a “non-smoking” hotel We tried to switch rooms and we were put across the hall in a room with the same layout (jacuzzi tub) I wouldn’t want to go in that tub, let alone even let a dog in there I would not recommend this hotel at all We tried to get a refund but they were not helpful and are not giving us a refund at all

We left an incredibly sketchy hotel we had booked online weeks prior and came to this La Quinta instead and WHAT A RELIEF Drew at the front desk was amazing Pool and hot tub are available 24/7, which is genius because why not? Breakfast was better than I anticipated, with sausage and fresh waffles you can make yourself

My dogs were welcomed and did great here The room was beautiful and large and very very clean AC worked great, fridge, TV and bathroom were all perfect condition Finding the one entrance/exit in the parking lot Is a bit silly, but a minor detail compared to the hotel itself – which was 10/10 for my family I would come back to this hotel every time I’m in CDA

It was my granddaughters 14th birthday We booked 1 night 3 generations of ladies

Went to the Chinook restaurant at the casino for dinner It was amazing The staff at this location was great The pool being open 24 hours was fun The continental breakfast was great also Even showing up 30 minutes prior to the banquet room closing ( long night) there was plenty of food and options The staff even closed up but let us stay and finish our breakfast Had an awesome stayTammy FSpokane,Was

I drove around for literally 20 minutes in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to get there (from the hospital across the street!) There is one way in—through one of many parking lots, but you have to find the right parking lot No entrance from the highway (west), or the bordering streets on the east and north, and worst of all, NO signage I almost drove over the curbs and grass between businesses in desperation before finding the one spot to get in

How hard is it to put up a SIGN with an arrow from, you know, the street where you should actually turn? (Google maps etc don’t work as they can’t tell you where exactly to turn either) Best to arrive during daylightI paid a whopping $250 to stay for 7 hours next to the highway in a cold room with a single thin comforter (I doubled it over) I thought $350/night for a lake view room at the CDA Resort a week earlier was a splurge In retrospect, it was a stealStaff were nice Not their fault
