Everyone was wonderful!! I had four rooms for my whole family and two dogs, the accommodations felt like we were home, staff was friendly and the environment was very clean!! Nick was great as well The breakfast they put out in the morning was amazing compared to other places I’ve been, the kitchen staff even went above and beyond and made my grand daughter a special breakfast almost every morning!! Highly recommend!!

We went to visit friends who were staying here I was shocked at how nice the rooms were with full kitchens and huge bathrooms I’d stay here all the time and its only minutes from my house

The kids loved it because they had an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, basketball court huge sitting areas with free wifi Definitely recommend staying here if you are on a business trip, visiting family or even for a weekend away if you live in the area Beautiful place

Okay stayBeds were comfortable, hotel staff courteous Complimentary breakfast was meh but better than others

Worth the stay but only because the hotel is directly behind a Stewart’s which is very convenientNo 5 star from me as there was a damaged light in the room which was taped up This is a safety issue and I’m shocked the hotel staff does not take the safety of their guests serious The fundamental flaw with the light is a design issue on furniture layout The light is above a high table/chair and simply standing up after sitting at the chair/table puts the person at risk of bashing their head into the light which is what someone probably did The fact that someone even thought of applying paper and tape to the glass to mask the light leaves a slew of other questions on maintenance practices Is turning a room over to capitalize on revenue from high occupancy rates more important than fixing a light fixture?Regarding the complimentary breakfast, I always ask the Marriott staff if they eat the breakfast they serve their guests and i have never ever heard anyone say yes I travel quite a bit so i get to ask this question alot Take for example the breakfast sandwich served at this location, the eggs, sausage, and cheese were good but the bagel it was served on was harder than a rock I mean honestly how can you serve this? Wife also ended up with a box of milk that was already 1 month expired Moral of this story is no quality check being done on what is being servedLastly we checked in and went to the room to settle in and only to have housekeeping knock on the door 15 minutes later saying they are sorry but they did not finish cleaning the room Communication is key here, we would have rather waited 10-15 minutes in the lobby while the room was being finished than have to unpack and then get the knock saying housekeeping wasn’t done yetWhen you add up these kinds of slips, usually a hotel will make up for a slip by apologizing and extending rewards such as complimentary points and etc We did get an apology which is a great start but nothing elseI’d consider my other options before I re-book here on my next tripI know management takes pride in running this establishment there’s a clear sign in the front lobby referencing their goal which is like a 10 if i remember right In theory there is no need for a sign, if your customer service, housekeeping, maintenance is spot on the remarks from the guests on their stay will be nothing but exceptional

Checking in at the Morgan State House was quick and easy, very polite host, he did not introduce himself though and I forgot to ask He was wearing a mask every time I saw him so very conscientious about keeping his guests safe We stayed in a suite two doors down from The Brownstone

Classy period Decor, very clean, great water pressure which sometimes is questionable in these old buildings Loved the soft sheets, all of our furniture was very comfortable Great location also! Walking distance to so many things and right across the street from the park which is absolutely beautiful

John Kurton

This is a beautiful old brownstone building and the interior of the lobby and dinning area is very much in keeping with the eraThe service was good and friendly making us feel at home from the outsetWe were in the annex a couple of doors down from the main house

The room was clean and well presented but the bed really did not live up to expectations The most uncomfortable night with little sleepIt was so bad my wife ended up sleeping on the floor

Edward Toombs

The ambiance fit well with area exalent wood work threw out as well as some nice unique pices! Location across from Washington park is amazing with many restaurants in area Nice outdoor space set up in back with nice continental brekfast in morning

We live locally and many of our family and friends have booked this hotel because of it’s convenient location and being pet friendlyUnfortunately that’s the only “friendly” feature you will find!!They are NOT friendly to the elderly or disabledThey are NOT friendly to Marriott loyalty members

They don’t even appear to be friendly about cleanliness and hospitality!!Definitely avoid checking in later in the evening, because the guy who works the front desk is the most arrogant, and offensive individual that we have ever come acrossWhen a disabled family member was distraught because they requested a handicapped accessable room, confirmed the day before that they had a handicapped accessible room, and then showed up to find out they were randomly placed far from any entrance, without any handicapped accessible requests met, the most arrogant employee responded with, “Well, I’d be happy to cancel your reservation for you”Would this be what you consider to be problem solving skills?Offensive, rude, filthy, and horribly managed!Book at your own risk!!

Tracy Belcher

From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome The room was very clean and comfortable We had a great workout in the fitness center

There was always hot coffee available There’s a big Target right next door with everything you could need, and several restaurants and delis in walking distance Our flight was delayed and the staff was quick to help us extend the room and even give us a ride to the airport We will be back in town in a few weeks and will definitely be staying here again In fact, we look forward to it!

Jennifer Ford

[EDIT] After my original review, the hotel manager did reach out to me, which is a sign of good customer service We didn’t get to speak, but I appreciate the effort Although my experience with the staff member that checked me in wasn’t good, I think it says a lot when someone tries to fix or address an error

-The Hotel: It’s decent for what it is I stayed a week or so due to work and it was great to have a larger space with a kitchenette The hotel is located near a shopping center which is great, and they do provide some options for breakfast which also helps a lot when you’re there for a longer period of time-The stay is affordable at about $100-$130 or so a night depending and the rooms are decent There are more luxurious options, but you can count on this location to give you a clean, reliable and safe place to stay-I would recommend!

Jessica Jo Prier

We stayed here for a week while I was here for a few dr Appointments The staff was incredible, everyone was very kind

Our room was very clean and complete with a small kitchenette It’s conveniently located by target and other small shopping centers as well as close to the airport They had the same basic breakfast menu everyday, so I wasn’t too impressed with the breakfast It was very basic and not much variety There are some great restaurants close by though! Overall we had a great stay – we have a couple of trips here in the future and we’ll definitely be staying again!

I stayed last weekend for my child’s tournament and it was great!! Staff was very kind and helpful as we were from out of state and didn’t know much about the area Rooms and building were very clean The pool was also great, the kids had a blast

The GM was amazing, she was so friendly and made sure everything was up to our standards Thank you Park Manor for taking such good care if us! Definitely will book again when we play again next year

Adam Ross

Major letdown We stayed at this location a few years back and it was amazing We were very disappointed this time

Upon walking in, we noticed the lobby floor was not very clean Check-in was a 20-minute process because no rooms were ready even though we arrived around 4:00 pm, an hour after check-in time began When we finally got a room, there were no bath towels, wash cloths, or bath mat, and the toilet paper was not on the roller There was a hand towel in the bathroom which was smelly One of two coffee mugs was missing from the coffee maker On my reservation it says “full breakfast” and the representative at check-in confirmed that hot breakfast is served in the morning for $10 which we were looking forward to since it was so good the last time we stayed here However, when morning came, there was no hot breakfast being served The dining room was dark and empty except for coffee, cereal and muffins When asked about the advertised breakfast, the woman at the front desk told us there was no hot breakfast on Mondays So why does it state “Cooked-to-order breakfast available for a fee daily 7:00 AM–11:00 AM: USD 10 per person” on the travel websites? No explanation was given It’s a shame because this hotel has a beautiful interior and could be so much more but it has gone downhill since the last time we stayed here From the minute we arrived and our room wasn’t ready, to the next morning when there was no hot breakfast as promised, Park Manor disappointed with basic things

$199 plus tax for the room The room was pretty and clean There was a stong bleach smell when you walk into the battroom

There were some stains on the pillow case and comforter but it was not the worst All-around the hotel looked fairly new The complementary breakfast was tour standard hotel food but they notify people that the eggs had pieces of ham in it for those who are kosher/halal

clotilde palmiero

We had been traveling for 6 hours with our 3 kids and were really looking forward to stay there for the night and we arrived and they were overbooked We had reserved and pre paid the room 5 months ago The customer service at the front desk was poor: they did not apologize or empathize (our kids were clearly tired from the car, maybe offer water or something?)

They tried to blame it on us first (We had to find the reservation in our emails to show the date) and then the booking site It took them half an hour to reimburse us and left us with no room for the night and no apology Homewood suite? Never again

Decent sized room (suite) for a little over $150 (Monday/Tuesday stay) 2 Queen beds, a sofa, small sink, microwave and coffee maker Work station (desk) and a 40” flat screen TV

A/C was a little dirty and bathroom needs some work Looked more like a Motel 6 bathroom, in terms of cleanliness Other than that, I enjoyed my stay Hotel is very conveniently located near restaurants, ice cream shop and mall isn’t that far either

Dean Marzullo

Hairs on the bathroom floor and tub faucet Stains on the carpet and underside of the tablesVery small pool, cold and unheated

Sleep was okay, service was decentIt’s alright for a one night stay but I probably wouldn’t come backAdditionally Lazy designs – toilet paper holder too far away to reach, and grab bar for getting out of the shower was on the same side as the toilet, so you can’t use it

Davonna Austin

The couch was disgusting and scratched up, the light was broken, the tv kept blacking out, the remote barely worked, the staff was rude and not accommodating, had to beg for extra towels and blankets for a room booked for 5 people while they only provided for 2 people, and the carpet was disgusting By far the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed in and they should be ashamed of themselves Cynthia, in particular was very unprofessional and rude over the phone

Really disgusting and street like attitude They charged me for damages that already existed in the room Don’t waste your money there It’s trash

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are immaculate and well taken care of It’s easy to get to but far enough of the main road so we’re not bothered by the traffic noise

My only issue is there are no USB ports in the rooms Most hotels now have lamps and/or outlets that have them Not a big deal but worth noting, so people know they will need to bring charging cubes with them when they stay

Pastle Bestys

The accommodations are as they present online, but for me it was the STAFF that had made this our GO TO spot in Albany, NY The front desk clerk Casey is always absolutely wonderful! She really makes you feel like we are old friends and goes absolutely out of her way to accommodate! Another honorable mention is the new cook SAMMY! This last time we were here we had the pleasure of meeting him and tasting his delicious HOME COOKING! If you are looking for a beautiful and conveniently located hotel in Albany this is the place to be! If you are looking for a hotel that SHOWS they care about your experience then Staybridge Albany IS the only hotel I can recommend in Albany that truly has it all! See for yourself

Hans Johnson

Outstanding! Stayed here on two separate nights and was happy both times Very clean and comfortable The breakfast had quite a spread with many selections

Mondays through Wednesdays they are serving dinner And I mean dinner, not snacks Pot roast, turkey, mashed potatoes, plus complimentary beer and wine Indoor pool and jacuzzi, airport shuttle The property is a short walk to a mall, starting with Macy’s

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice now The room was clean, breakfast was continental and some options changed daily I asked for extra towels and sheets, front desk gave me plenty

Housekeeping was very nice The AC worked very well in the room The shower was nice and hot Only small complaints were the pool smelled very chlorinated, but it was heated so maybe that is why it seemed that way There is no vending machine on the 3rd floor, so we had to go to the 1st floor for snacks We were able to get delivery to the room from a local pizzeria

David York

The basic of basic Rooms are okay Lobby good for sitting when you don’t wanna be couped up in the room

Nice size pool only 4 and half feet deep tho Friendly staff Location isn’t near much but everything is few minutes away Now, the rooms idk if it’s the staff or what have you but there was hair on the beds sheets and towels They moved is to another room which was good and would’ve been great BUT again hairs on the sheets in the next room as well The tub also has a used old bar of soap in it and wasn’t properly cleaned either So house keeping can use some improvements

Was really looking forward to my stay here while we came up from out of state to house hunt Arrived at 3:30 (check in time is after 3) and was told in the arrival instructions to go to room seven which would have the keys sitting on the dresser Room sevens door was shut and locked on our arrival

Called the owner twice, texted once, and emailed without a response Around ~1hr later got a phone call saying we could just go into room 6 across the hall which should have been open At this point we were down the street grabbing coffee and made it back to the inn around 5:30, at which point room 6 was occupied Texted owner who said she was coming over to resolve things 30 minutes later she had not arrived We had reservations for dinner at 6:30 Proceeded to text her with no response We had already been charged for a room so we just staying in one of the open rooms No follow up communication ever occurred about the issue Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean but there is very poor communication and organization of check in Breakfast situation also leaves a lot to be desired We will not be returning For the price you can stay at a full service hotel in the area with just as much charm

Lauren Sumereau

Started off not so great – I had to contact the owner for check-in instructions because they were never provided to meThe day we arrived it was mid-70s and the temperature in the place was set to 74! I called & texted the phone number provided to see if the thermostat could be adjusted

3 hours later and I get a text saying someone would be there shortly to turn the heat off Never did I receive a follow up communication, so I’m not entirely sure if anything was fixed Thankfully the rest of the weekend was cooler weatherLastly, when check-out time came I had to text the owner again to ask what to do since no instructions were provided Communication doesn’t seem to be their strong suit here(Don’t expect much from the “breakfast” either, it was a couple yogurts and apples in the fridge)

I’m familiar with Airbnb more than hotels and B&B We stayed here mid October This is a cross between a guesthouse and Airbnb

On site parking is a plus Host reached out ahead for self check in information — arrival time, entry codes, kitchen privilege, etca big plus! There’s a revolving crew patrolling the inn and replenishes the pantry and quickly greets guestsbut no real reception desk It’s partially renovated but is showing its age We didn’t dare touch the windows Fortunately, ambient temperature was comfortable as is Very nice decor Comfy bed and clean bathroom Well stocked kitchen for diy breakfast, snacks, refreshments including wine, beers, juice Good value for us We appreciate the extra spaces to lounge instead of being cooped up in hotel rooms

Terrible place, sitting outside like homeless person waiting on a room that was supposed to be ready before noon now here 6 hours and still nothing Update I’m beginning to believe that this location is a Franchise, the carpet has stains in the room The shower curtain has a blood stain or maybe poo stain don’t know

The DEAD BOLT does not latch in the Door Jam (big safety concern there) outside in the hall ways is very DINGY The Breakfast was pretty weak to include the All temperature Box Milk they give you is More like the military milk if you were ever in the service Also it seem they refilling all the shampoo bottles with cheap stuff dollar store don’t know why The pool is very dirty it need to be drained and repainted or somethingThe fitness center is sub par Compared to Corporate Owned Holiday INN Actually it seems every time I end up at a franchise Owned Hotel it’s always a bad experience Compared to a corporate one That’s my experience how bout yours??? There is also a restaurant attached but it’s only Open for special events I guess The business center gives you no privacy that’s for sure in the end I would suggest spending an extra 20bucks for a Hilton will be sooooo worth it

M E

This hotel falls short on many things First the good Bed was comfy room was clean and breakfast is available

Now the bad…The hotel is in need of major renovations There is not one wall in the hotel without scuffs Carpets are pulled up from subfloor with heavy staining evident Room furniture is worn There is not a single USB connection in the roomThe common breakfast area is not inviting at all It reminded me of a highway rest stop cafeteria While the concept of a restaurant on sight sounds appealing, do not go to On Tap Just don’t

Faye V Newsome

I stayed at this hotel 8/8/22, I loved it there The bathroom was nice and clean no dirty bath tub and no hair on the floor The sheets smelled nice and fresh and there was no noise in the hallway

I’ve been staying at the Quality Inn, in Colonie, NY every Monday and I had to make a change, this is how a hotel is supposed to be I will make this my permanent spot every Monday that I have a layover

This is my second time staying at this hotel The first time I made the reservation via hopper, and the second via the actual hotel website I was not only greeted both visits with the friendly staff faces at the check in desk at all hours of the day/night, the hotel provides literally everything I could possible need

Rooms were clean and neat, and well lit I have to say out of everything I feel like the safety procedures set in place for all of the guests was my top favorite I love the fact you can’t enter a floor without a guest card That alone made me feel the safest I look foward to the next stay and thank you for everyone who made my stay yet another amazing one !

Please upgrade the in-room TV offering Antiquated TV service has SD/480p blurry menu without and stream offerings — was under the impression this was standard Hilton Your TV sets are nice — the menu/quality etc piped in is not

Everything else was great and counter staff was really helpful Would be 4/5 with modern offeringsBetter/less expensive breakfast offerings from Starbucks on the first floor Complimentary grab and go items would have been nice

Probably the best hotel we’ve stayed as a family Everything was great for us The staff was friendly and knowledgeable

The maintenance person is a gem, sorry I forgot his name but please let him know how much we appreciate his dedication and smile At first the AC in our room was broken and since they could not fix it right away they moved us to another suite My kids loved the ‘problem’ they had to deal with every morning, pancakes or waffles :)also lots of healthy choices, fruits yogurt cereals eggs We never ran out of fresh towels and we just had to ask in order to get housekeeping during our 4 night stayThe one thing we could not enjoy was the indoor pool The chlorine level was constantly too high and made us cough and tear up We tried flagging it at the front desk but were told it’s the way the pool is oh wellWe also had fun times shopping at the nearby mallIf we ever come back in the area this will be our go to hotel no doubts about it PS: if you are looking for lunch-dinner options, you must try the diner a few blocks up the road

Rooms are very nice, clean and spacious The hotel is large and fairly new The gym is well stocked with equipment

Now to my gripesThe hot water is nasty It smells and tastes like old coffee so you know they aren’t cleaning them out properly and mixing the water and coffee jugsNo bacon any of the days They started repeating food but bacon wasn’t in the rotation DisappointingIt’s advertised on their website that they have an evening reception Monday to Thursday Blatantly false advertising They only have it Wednesday I booked specifically to take advantage of that so I feel ripped off Second, it says on the sign here it’s from 5-8 but at 7 it was all packed up and gone This is really the main differentiating factor between the Hampton inn and Homewood so if they don’t have it why would I pay more to stay here?Overall the rooms and hotel are good but the services are lacking and misrepresented

I was extremely satisfied with my stay here! Also I’ve never seen such an accommodating hotel Handicap and pet friendly, and there’s even storage for guests (which I’ve never seen before and assuming if one is staying for an extended time)There’s meetings rooms, a media room, fitness area and a pool! The best part complimentary breakfast 👏🏾 (it’s starts at 7 so get there early)The rooms are nice and spacious, the showers are lovely with phenomenal water pressure and temperature! The staff are extremely lovely and helpful and I can’t wait to come back if ever I’m in the area again 🤗

I booked this room form my grandmother and myself for a weekend away from home The rooms are massive and the pool and spa are great, but other than that, I am very disappointed On multiple occasions, I picked up dirty towels and food from the pool area

They were left there all day On one occasion, I picked blueberries out of the pool There was often trash in the halls and elevator that has been there since we arrived They also failed to tell us that housekeeping is only available upon request That would have been fine but they never told us until we went down and asked When we requested towels and toiletries, we had to ask 3 times before we received them, and they were left outside the door in a pile I am extremely disappointed and I would recommend you stay somewhere else that is worth the large sum I paid for 3 nights

I was a bit disappointed with a few things For the price of $170 per night, I expected at least clean bedding of the proper size There was a stain on the bedspread, when we pulled all the bedding off at the end of our stay there was a large stain on the mattress

Also when we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there was a large urine stain on the mattress When I called the front desk to see if they had a replacement mattress for the sleeper sofa, the only solution that was offered was to put an extra sheet over itThe bedding for the sleeper sofa was of the wrong size (looked like it would probably fit the king bed), and when we asked for proper size sheets to be sent up, they were still the wrong size They either don’t have the right size sheets for the pull out bed, or no one knows where to get them fromThe night we were there, the pool towels were all used up and never replenished From about 6pm until 10pm when the pool closed, there were no towels Someone should be checking this stuff This was on a weekend when the hotel was booked up, so they should have had staff They don’t put enough towels at the pool anyway Even when we went first thing in the morning after it had been filled up, I could tell the towels were going to run out very quickly because they didn’t even fill up half the towel rackThe remote control was missing the battery cover and the batteries would not stay in When I called to ask, they did not have a replacement remote Not the biggest deal, but disappointingThe pool was nice, other than rarely having enough towels out The complimentary breakfast was very good and had a variety of hot food choices The mini kitchen in the room had everything you would need for a short trip All staff I encountered were very friendly, I just wish they were better at solving issues such as the one we had with the pee stain on the pull out The stained bedding and mattresses alone are enough to make me unlikely to stay here again They need to do better in that regard
