Stayed for over a week on business On arrival had some issues with our reservations and the room rate, but this was quickly resolvedSomeone had smoked in the room but the manager quickly installed an ionizer to kill the smell and after wiping down the room it was ready in less than 30 minutes

Bathroom floor was extremely dirty and quickly stained our socks, we had to clean it ourselves with dish soap and a towelThe toilet was extremely low to the floor and very shallow, Obviously the ownership felt no one would notice, But it’s very obvious immediatelyNow with all the bad out of the way, the room was otherwise very clean and comfortable, the bed will ed was extremely comfortable The grounds were well maintained the parking lot is well lit no trash or broken glassThere is a common area outside for smokers that was generally clean and well maintainedEvery issue we brought to management’s attention was quickly dealt with, and we had a total of 3 rooms for a special eventEach of our team was extremely happy With the quality of their room and and the overall price

Tifany Coleman

The lobby was musty and smelled of weed Had to walk through the smoke of two smokers to get in to the door (The weather was fine – there was no reason for them to be standing at the door)

The room was ok It was clean enough but had a faint smoke smell and the walls were very thin Also, the water pressure was almost too strong It kind of hurt my body I was able to sleep so that says a little somethingIt could be nicer but it was adequate for the overnight stay that I neededI would not stay again

Delaqua P

The hotel had a strong odor like of weed and cleaning solution to cover up the smell The lighting was poor and seemed dark The hotel was outdated and needed some serious upgrade

There was a lot of dust and ware and tear There was a roach climbing on the curtain and I was told that was a stink bug but clearly it was a roach They sprayed which was cool The thermostat was broken even set it did it’s own thing So it went from hot/stuffy to cold back and forth all night The water pressure in the shower was to powerful I felt like I was getting beat in my chest They need to seriously adjust the pressure The hall way was stuffy, really dim and it smelled The people were very friendly but I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to no one Don’t be fooled by the “very good” review

The hotel is what I expected The room is a little dated And not the best sound insulation

But it was clean and comfortable Just what our family needed for the nightWhat got me to take the time to write a review is the staff They were all so friendly and helpful!Checking in later at night both my husband and I recognized the woman at the front desk was above and beyond friendly and helpfulMrs Cynthia was the woman in charge of breakfast She was attentive, friendly and it was all very clean We we’re very impressedThen checking out this morning was all greatIf you want to experience great customer service this hotel is full of lovely peopleThank you

I had stayed in this hotel in a king suite the 21st-22nd with a checkout time at noon Condition of the room was great, cleanliness was great, off to a great start and we did enjoy our stay However, about AN HOUR before checkout time the front desk worker literally barged into our room

Beforehand he did try to call, but I was on another personal call and could not answer You would think he could have at least knocked? He said he was checking for room service and this is totally understandable after the time of checkout but not a minute before, especially with the prices paid for a room that is supposed to be private Thank goodness we were in ‘proper form’ but someone else may not have been I have stayed in many hotels and never experienced this Please let me know if this is a normal thing for your staff to do because if so I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere when in need of a hotel And by the way, minors stay in hotel rooms too This could have been hugely problematic on a legal standpoint This staff member had short dark hair and a slim build, I did not get his name but felt this experience was necessary to share because again, minors stay in hotels too

Tarnisha Hicks

The property is in a great location and very easy to find The staff is friendly and breakfast was decent The hotel exterior is in desperate need of pressure washing and maintenance

The hallways and elevator carpet/floors were very dirty and smelled bad Our room was put together nicely, but very dirty and lacked preventative maintenance It all presented itself as a hotel that was in need of an owner/management that cares The door handles, doors, light fixtures, inside of toilets were very dirty My family and I had to clean the room and spray the bedding and couch before we sat down and placed our items I was very disappointed as this is not what I expected from Residences Inn

The rooms were clean and beds were quite comfortable Staff were very nice and addressed my concern regarding the air conditioner within minutes I had overlooked the wall thermostat, so my problem was solved immediately

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool during our stay The area was clean and well maintained Would definitely stay here again and continue to recommend this hotel to others needing a place to stay in Concord

Kristen Woods

Rebecca was very nice at check in but we kept coming across issues with the hotel The luggage cart was gross and needed a good cleaning The room was fine but our toilet paper was on the floor because the wall holder was broken

I’m assuming the wall holder was broken because the toilet was so low Someone needed assistance getting on or off it Maybe put a handle on the wall We reserved a suite and didn’t find out until after we had gotten ready for bed that the pull out couches sheets and pillows were not kept in the room and we had to go to the lobby to get them We were told it was due to Covid but our toilet paper was on the floor? Either way That would have been nice to have known at check in and not when we were ready for bed The pullout couch was also extremely uncomfortable due to the metal frame coming through the thin mattress The blinds didn’t close all the way leaving a flimsy sheer curtain letting in the outside lights and the morning sun The room didn’t have any caffeinated coffee The room sleeps 4 but there were only 2 full sized towels When I pulled down the sheets there was a very live bug running around which I got a video of Breakfast was tasteless and I was admonished by one of the women working for spilling waffle batter on the floor even though I didn’t do it and my mom got yelled out for leaving the spoon in the eggs The only good thing was the water pressure in the shower and Texas Roadhouse was in walking distance

The room is a king suite and it is very nice with a small kitchenette The TV is small and it turned itself on when I walked into room It welcomed me by name – maybe a wee bit creepy ;)There were no towels, soap, shampoo and garbage had not been emptied so that was disappointing BUT the woman at the front desk was terrific and made all right very quickly

All in all it is a decent stay Free breakfast, small pool and workout room

D Carrera

The hotel room was remodeled and had a kitchenette The room was clean but there were a few dirty areas in the bathroom sink, night stand, and tub needed a decent scrubbing The beds were comfortable and the a

c Worked great Breakfast was ok and convenient No bugs!! Big plus, all in all it was a very comfortable stay Would definitely recommend

dana jankowski

Beds were comfortableService was goodBUT they only reason why they are not getting 5 stars is because the hot tub was not working and that is the main reason we chose this hotel to begin with! Also breakfast was good

The place overall was fine I visited Charlotte for a weekend The room was nice

It had two beds, a couch that turned into a bed, TV and small kitchenette The bathroom was decent- standing shower only My turn off was that the lobby was not clean when my family arrived and the front desk staff seemed nonchalant about it There’s a gym and pool I did not have the time to enjoy this amenities For a brief stay, this is an affordable option

JENNA SWEETS

Hotel was decent but wrong room was reserved despite booking with the reservation desk and not a 3rd party, which would have been cheaper Then Manager Andrew refused to address the issue and deferred me to customer service He needs better customer service skills and his staff, except the maintenance man who actually went past and said good morning

And PS the welcome mat in the front lobby is stained and unpleasant to look at!

Anthony Upton

I really enjoyed the time spent at Home 2 Suites We stayed one night but for the entire time We enjoyed the pool and watched a family “break in” the grill

The rooms were spacious and affordable I absolutely loved the amenities It really did hold to its name HOMENow that being said I was a little taken back by the way my wife felt uncomfortable having been greeted very rudely by one of the front desk personnel It wasnt the same person who checked me in but she was rude in the way she responded to my wifes questionWhile they did apologize, when we opened the sofa-bed we were greeted with sheets that were not clean I was told that I had to come down and get them myself (That put me the wrong way)Then I went to take a shower at 10:30 PM and there was NO HOT WATER I waited until 11 PM to see if that would get the hot water flowing again and I had to take a luke warm showerThere was a hot breakfast And checkout was easy Overall decent stay

I enjoy my stays at Homewood Suites It is usually very clean and I appreciate the effort they put into maintaining a good, clean friendly atmosphere The last times I stayed, there were noticeable stains on a few doors and door frames

I understand it though there is a lot of a certain staff is allotted certain time frames to clean_reminders to check behind themselves Also, there should be more focused monitoring of breakfast guests who don’t put on the supplied plastic gloves and keep masks on, as asked to do while gathering breakfast items The areas are clean, staff friendly and service is great!

Homewood Suites in Concord is top notch! From the reception staff to housekeepingMy travel partner and I stayed here literally every other week, a week at a time each time We were never unimpressed

From check-in, the sweet reception staff are 5-stars in themselves <3 and always make it a breeze! Making our way up to our room and every time checking out the room before getting comfy (I’m an avid mattress-flipper) and this is the one and only hotel I’ve stayed in that consistently has stain-free mattresses We’ve probably stayed in at least 20 different rooms in this hotel and NEVER seen a stain, dirt, bugs, etc Every inch of the rooms are sparkling clean, never a fingerprint or dust anywhere Shoutout to housekeeping for that! In the mornings there is a wonderful breakfast (my favs are the western omelette, hash browns with peppers/onions) and of course the waffle maker when having a sweet tooth The linens are soft, pillows are top notch, and rooms are spacious Every time I come in those front doors I want to holler “Honey, I’m home!” The location of the hotel is close to a bunch of food/shopping establishments as well, and of course the speedway so that’s a plus!Shoutout to Amanda, Lindsey, and Tash for always being so welcoming and making Homewood Suites a home-away-from-home! You guys are the best!

Mercedez Allen

LITERALLY one of my FAVORITE hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s up there with the Four Seasons! The suite was beautiful and I’m picky so trust me you will love it ! Everything in the room was spotless and well taken care of The hotel looks brand new and smells fresh! I was truly at home during my stay

I checked in with Ruthie she was so sweet and welcoming and I checked out with Gen and she was so polite and nice with me and other hotel guest! She asked me how my stay was and I could tell she genuinely cared! I love this hotel! This will be my hotel I stay at anytime I’m in Charlotte/Concord area!

The hotel was very nice It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room I got with my family was very big We needed two beds, and we got two beds with a desk a big TV

The only things I didn’t like was the pool looked greenish and around like 11 pm, people were running up in down the stairs and playing loud music I don’t know if they do, but they should have a quiet time so that when people are trying to sleep, they can

Jose Diaz

This hotel is in excellent condition and the staff is awesome! Having a room full size kitchen comes in handy particularly to people with strict dietary needs like me Myka at the front desk has been very helpful to all inquiries about the area and hotel services My refrigerator ice maker was not working but Brandon (maintenance) came to check it, and until the repair was finished he brought me ice from the lobby

Can your hotel top that? Will stay here again when visiting this area

I’m giving this hotel four stars because I found a hair in the shower upon entering the bathroom I told the receptionist but she just made a face of disgust but didn’t do anything about itThe staff is very friendly

The manager goes above and beyond to accommodate guests Great buffet breakfast A vast amount to choose fromThe room that I was in needed vacuuming and dustingOverall this hotel is ideal and prices reasonable

Vanna Abernathy

Interior/Rooms of hotel are nice and clean Beds are comfortable Staff is amazing

Exterior needs a little adjustment I stayed for a week and daily I had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to get into the hotel as people sit directly left of the entrance and smoke The edge of the parking lot is lined with poison sumac, which left me with some pretty good whelps on my arm So, if you are allergic be sure to park against the building or in the middle spaces

Keith Scott

I only stayed for one night an I had an issue with the guests that were staying next to us I spoke with the manager who was very professional an understanding She did everything possible to make me comfortable

I appreciate her going above an beyond because no one ever does these day’s They usual just want your money an to silence your complaints I wish all hotels operated like this one

Very comfortable and spacious rooms Nice to have the pull out couch and a privacy curtain The kitchen was not well equipped (2 forks and 2 glasses in a room that sleeps 6)

We also only had 1 pillow per person and only 3 towels for 6 people The one real problem was how loud the A/C was – the noise was high pitched and unpleasant The staff were friendly The breakfast seemed nice but the food was not great (I don’t expect much from an included hotel breakfast though) The bathrooms in the lobby didn’t have any toilet paper

Takeivia Daniel

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I normally check reviews but, we stay at Home 2 Suites and various Hilton hotels all the time so I assumed THIS location would be fine for a quick overnight stayThe reviews are TRUE- blood stains on the sheets- filthy stained carpet- filthy stained walls- light switches don’t work- curtains don’t close- front desk unprofessional and rudeWe tried to avoid complaining but, there were just too many things that were wrong

We went downstairs and the “manager” CAMI was beyond RUDE She had 5,000 excuses…never apologized…ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMMa’am do you think we booked this room and wanted it to be filthy? Did we put that in the comments as a request? Why would you ARGUE with a GUEST?She did not want to move us and said since we were in the room for a period of time and used the restroom she couldn’t move us We were literally in there no more than 10-15 minutes We were told she didn’t have anyone to clean the room for the next guestWell obviously they didn’t clean the room for us She insisted that she walk with us to the room so she could “see” my complaint Once she saw the blood on the sheets we were moved to an additional room and again BLOOD STAINS on the sheetsWe were moved to a 3rd room- we checked the room with the service desk young lady (night shift person) prior to accepting the roomLuckily we were just passing through and only had to suffer in this place for one nightDO NOT STAY HERE! We are waiting on corporate to contact us regarding this hotel and more importantly regarding Cami and her unprofessional handling of our family as guests

Rhonda Davis

I will never come to this location again I had problems from the beginning I picked out my room online for a specific floor and quiet room When I got there I was put on a different floor that was very noisy and was told the floor I picked out was no longer available There was a guest there with a handicap son that chose her room online as well and they didn’t have it available to accommodate her sons disability I felt so sorry for her

The bathrooms in the lobby were disgusting and no tissue, the pool looked dirty, the breakfast was terrible! I was not pleased with my stay and canceled my second night and booked to another location! I called the manager with my concerns and she became argumentative going back and forth with me and didn’t care at all what I was going through , she was not professional at all! I had my children with me and was not going to have them stay here in this condition! If I’m paying this much for a stay I expected better and Hilton failed to provide great results for me and my family! Very disappointed!

After reading some of the reviews I guess I feel really lucky and blessed My hubby and I found everything fine upon our arrival The only complaint we had was the water pressure and it was fixed IMMEDIATELY! The staff was very friendly, our room was clean, as well as the bed

I’m a stickler so I search for everything No bugs were present, no foul odor, no real noise to complain about It was a really good stay for us The guy who checked us in, oh how I wish I could remember his name, was absolutely phenomenal He gave me the best laugh after a very long drive in He treated us with much respect and genuinely appreciated us as I felt he understood the assignment Without me there is no them So thank you front guy for taking care of us so well Of course I’ll be back, can’t let my luck or blessing run out now!! I recommend

Last minute accommodations while on business travel, and I was very pleased You can tell the staff is really trying their best to satisfy customers, even though times are challenging for businesses and adequate staffing coverage The breakfast was all I could hope for at a breakfast-included hotel, but the staff went above & beyond to make sure the guests had all they were looking for

Will remember this for future business travel to the area Thank you hospitality team for doing a great job

Stayed in a king suite for three nights with my family Thankfully no bed bugs or any bugs at all Only complaint I have is within the bathroom

For a king suite, I would’ve expected a tub (not that I would’ve used it) instead of a small, cramped, stand up shower with mold growing along the caulk and a cracked sinkOur microwave had no plate and the fridge was leakingWith that being said, I am extremely grateful that the room itself was in clean condition and we didn’t have any bed bugs That was my biggest worry after reading other reviews I’ve stayed at both here and the Hampton Inn next door when visiting Concord and the breakfast here had a better selection It’s a great central location to EVERYTHING!

My family and I had a weekend trip to Morrisville and being able to rest here was great It was actually better than I envisioned It was spacious and clean

There’s plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from as well so the location great Just keep in mind there’s no workers on the weekend (at least there weren’t any this past weekend)The only thing I would advised is to have extra beddings in the room (maybe in the closet) for the sofa bed Also extra towels for the weekend stays since there won’t be anyone in the office But, all in all it was a great stay and I will be looking for this place when I travel

michelle Eversole

The hotel room is well designed and vert clean Though for a place that has an oven they don’t have cookware that is safe for it No pans, cook sheets, or baking pans and they need they enough for two people to eat on if it’s made that way

There also need to be better cutting/chopping knives as well with a cutting broad You just don’t want to come to a hotel that is supposed to have this anf when you arrive you have to buy all that like your buying for your own home Otherwise great sleep and very spacious

Karry Mabry

I am the executive admin to my teams that travel for work Each time they have come home they have been raving about how great the hotel is It is a brand-new location for Affordable Suites of America

The rooms are always very, very clean My guys like the kitchenette and the new grills located in the well-maintained court yards The price is amazing for all the perks you get with this hotel Robert has been my main contact He has been great about last minute items and extension of the rooms The work crew likes to go to this hotel when they are in town working on a project My team will only stay in this hotel from now on It’s a bit of a drive to our work site but they don’t mind They said it is more than worth the drive to be able to stay here

We had an excellent overnight stay at the Springhill Suites in Research Park As soon as you walk in, it smells so fresh and clean, and the staff was very kind Alex at the front desk even took the liberty to print out hard copies of directions to the concert we were going to (he printed a bunch out for the guests) which I thought was an “above and beyond” gesture

I normally don’t write reviews, but I think this stay truly deserves it Thanks for making us feel welcome!

I am staying at Springhill Suites University Research Park and will be here for (11) days I had to comment only after one night that this is the most pleasant stay at a hotel in a long time I have to say Glenda P

in housekeeping was such a delight and so accommodating She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed Please let her know that Valerie in room (320) said once again, Thank You for everything!

I would have rated higher because it was nice and clean and quiet Conveniently located right off the freeway, reasonably priced, and had a friendly staff My problems were that the door in the back required a swipe of your room key to unlock for safety but it was manually unlocked so anyone could walk in

There were no towels or washcloth in our room and our pillows were small, about the size of a throw pillow on a couch Thankfully I takemy pillow from home everywhere I go

The room was clean and neat, the beds comfortable and the complimentary toiletries were actually usable The desk clerk, Carolann, checked us in quickly and when asked, she recommended a few good nearby restaurants She was friendly and very helpful

We would stay here again

Our room was dirty and the bed was lumpy/old/uneven I spilled some water on the tile floor and went to wipe it up with a towel and it was a dirty brown I kept wiping the floor and was horrified how dirty it was

Carpet had lots of stains Door didn’t latch to lock properly We were right by the back entrance and all we heard was the door slamming shut Probably one of the worst stays I’ve had, and definitely disappointing for the price Front desk staff was the only saving grace- very friendly and quick

This hotel was good Not bad, not great-just good It’s old and had a semi-facelift

Like you could tell it has been remodeled quickly There were still remnants of an older version The room was fine though-we just needed a place to stay for the night and it worked The location was fine and I appreciated Jessica, our housekeeper, writing a little note to enjoy our stay I’ve stayed in better Holida Inns, but I really can’t say this was terrible The air conditioning was loud too, but it worked The elevator is the SLOWEST elevator though-it took forever! Oh and their chocolate chip cookies upon check in were really good!! I’d recommend it if you need a clean, comfortable place

Avoid at all costs!1 I’ve never seen a smaller parking lot2

The public bathroom on the first floor reminds me of a gas station bathroom3 The building has some years on it and it shows4 The room card creator was broken so the front desk clerk had to let us in our room every time5 I know pot is legal but the first floor smelled like Snoop Dog was here6 You can find a MUCH better hotel at a better rateI travel a lot and stayed in some seedy areas but it’s been a while since I stayed at a chain hotel this bad

Find another hotel This place lacks any kind of customer service Management is unavailable to talk to during regular working hours

Front desk is fully of empty promises Stayed here three nights and they never came to refresh the sheets, towels, and such (after multiple requests) The room was dirty, cobwebs in both windows and on the fan, and dirty towels left in the bathroom from the last guest Truly disappointing and well below the Hilton standard The only positive is the location

Christopher Condon

Stayed her for a wedding I was in Never got the discounted rate I’m a Hilton Honors member and they said they could do anything

So Staff and Hilton Management can’t fix their mistake Never going here or any Hilton again Recommend checking you bill many times, even though nobody can do a thing Wow, now they are asking me to call Which I have done, twice VM and no response You are complete BS Stay away from Hilton!!

Location was great and the property on the outside was beautiful! Unfortunately the rooms were extremely dated, we had a big bug crawling on the ceiling The spider webs were in the corners and the faucet were broken in the showersWe asked the night for our room to be cleaned

The next day at 12:30 it was still not cleaned and when I asked down stairs they said it wound be clean When we came back that night of course it had not be cleanedDisappointed from this hotel-

It was easy to make the reservation for 2 rooms, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter, her fianc, their 2 dogs The hotel was easy to reach from the interstate, the front desk clerk gave me friendly welcome & efficient check in My room looks as though no one has ever stayed in it

Clean, clean, clean! Full size fridge with ice maker Stove cook top, microwave I was very happy with everything and will definitely stay here again if I am in the area Good job My Place!!

A competent, reasonably priced hotel experience for our large youth group The hotel staff was friendlyI deducted a single star because their computer system was down and they could not provide a receipt in check out

The promised email never arrived either We will have to call and follow up The courtesy coffee was awful The complementary wireless internet was appreciated, but the log in instructions posted in each room were not intuitive There was some clothing left in the room from a previous guest These are minor points and our overall experience was positiveTo end on a high note: each room has a kitchenette and that is awesome

Missy R

First of all Randy and Ayanna at the front desk were awesome They both were the most friendliest and helpful staff we have had in our last 5 weeks of traveling My Place should be very proud of these two people

I would definitely go back to this hotel just because of the great customer service they offered And now for the room The room was the nicest and cleanest one we stayed at in our 5 weeks of traveling The only improvement which could be made is the lock on our door It didn’t always lock but we weren’t too concerned as we had the upper lock Good luck Randy on your future endeavors

My wife & I took a day out of town & experience something new in Charlotte We stayed at the Embassy suites in Charlotte/Concord, & was lucky enough to get a front room with a view of a hole on the golf course, Camping World, Hendrick Chevrolet & Charlotte Motor Speedway baby! We visited downtown E Trade street, &Tryon also tried out a couple of Charlotte restaurants while enjoying the free Embassy Suites house drinks after calling it an evening

Had a refreshing shower that almost sent me to the emergency room That’s one slippery when wet bathtub in room 1012, but I caught myself We rested and relaxed, had a good nights sleep In the morning we both really enjoyed our made to order breakfast that came with the room M6 wife had two over easy eggs while I appreciated the skill of the chef, making a delicious bacon & ham with mushrooms, spinach and cheeseWe would love to come back one day & do this all over again

I went for a convention ; the service was decent considering they were full w/ convention goers & normal hotel guest When we arrived there were no baggage cartsWhen asked if there were additional or when the baggage carts wld be available

We were informed, if not downstairs other hotel guests had the cards; in turn we wld have to waitThat was a bit of a bummer, though we understood given the fullness of the hotel If you didn’t get extra items such as pillows or blankets when you first arrived There were none or minimal after check-in The complimentary breakfast was amazingThe staffing was a bit low, but I believe like w/ everyone it’s due to the pandemic The rooms were nice & clean I would definitely return to patronize them

The front desk staff was exemplary, but we experienced issues with the Rocky Creek Grill and the reception hours Issues we experienced with Rocky Creek Grill were not answering the phone after 5pm and when we arrived at the restaurant, the lights were not on so it did not seem they were open The staff seemed lackadaisical

The impression was they did not want our business so we ate elsewhere As far as the reception, each night there was only one person working the bar area when there should probably have been at least two people, especially on a Friday and Saturday night Each person was overwhelmed but doing the best they could considering the volume of customers they were serving The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very accommodating Overall this hotel definitely could use some renovations We will not consider staying here again
