Beautiful tranquil environment Our cottage was clean and cozy The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable

We really enjoyed the community fire place and all the great attractions in the surrounding area We even enjoyed walking the local neighborhood We visited a state park and several trails and loved the natural surroundings and hiking We saw lots of wildlife, even a black bear and swimming beaver This is great place for everyone to visit

I was hesitant to stay here my husband and I were really looking to stay in one of those tacky couples hotel but it didn’t work out so we stood here instead

I am so glad we stood here instead the cottages were absolutely adorable and romantic We both loved it and would consider coming back during summer with our kids when the pools open Also the steakhouse near the cottages was really good So worth it, just go!

In the beginning of booking my trip I was very hesitant because when I was asking around on personal reviews no one never heard of this place until I asked someone close to me who knew this place and said it was nice well we just had the best vacation here for a long weekend it was so peaceful and pleasant the staff was incredibly nice and helpful I loved this place and wish I didn’t have to leave here I will definitely be back thank you woodfield manor for a incredible stay

This is my second time here, and have enjoyed it both times The hotel and attached brewery staff are wonderful Like other reviews say, the rooms can seem a bit dated

BUT they are renovating a lot of rooms currently it seemsAnother guest said their TV didn’t work, and neither did ours Not a big deal though Room on the smaller side, but the bathroom seems to have been updated recently which was nice and the bed super comfyWould also recommend extending the bakery hours, or having a community pantry where you can buy goods like medicine or personal care items around the clock Had an incident where my partner could have used Tylenol or Advil, but was unable to get it because the bakery was closed Staff was very helpful in providing some at their own expense though!! (Thanks a bunch woman at concierge’s desk)In Summary, a historical hotel going through good, necessary updates I most likely will be visiting again!!

SunMonet

Stayed here recently while skiing at Shawnee for a few days At first our stay got off to a rocky start when the television in our room didn’t work We were moved to a larger, more updated room

The staff really went over and above to accommodate us, giving us a discount for the night’s stay and a food voucher We extended our stay because of this The rooms are clean and functional Large indoor pool with hot tub Nearby is the quaint Gem and Keystone pub, which has great food Stayed at the Inn numerous times over the years and have always loved the historic charm of this hotel

Randy Botts

Historic place that has some really nice features Beautiful big porch with seating that overlooks the practice green and Delaware River Lots of scheduled activities and a restaurant and golf course on site

Room was OK, nice bed and floor but bathroom left a lot to be desired It was very small and extremely dated with peeling wallpaper Could easily hear the loud group in the room next to us It is a very old hotel with a lot of history so it makes staying there kind of worthwhile

We were in town today to pick up our daughter from International Gymnastics Camp and our 2 sons tomorrow from International Sports Camp so we stayed here due to being less than 20 minutes away from the camps this is by far one of the lowest standard hotels I have stayed in For the price this hotel is very below the Hilton standards I have stayed in to become a Gold Member I was allowed to check in early thanks to the young lady at the front desk this morning but was not greeted as a honors member at all

Now the problems:this hotel has no microwave in the room at least oursHotel feels and looks outdated especially the gym with the leaking ceilingThere was no sweet shop visible to purchase snacks/drinks only saw a couple of soda machines on the floorsThe refrigerators in the room did not get coldThe carpet in the room was dirty as you can see spots and the bathroom was not cleaned wellThe doors have a gap where you can see light and the hallwayThe tv is a joke super small for 2022/the remote didn’t work half the timeThere was no visible workstation with the standard desktop and printer Hilton usually offers in the hotelsThe hotel is tucked away in a residential neighborhoodThe evening shift the lady and the guy tonight we’re to busy laughing and joking to acknowledge the guestWill probably skip breakfast in the morning due to how this hotel feelsSave your money and go to the other Hilton it looks more modern online

My Hubby and I went for a nice/romantic weekend getaway The staff was sparse, but very nice & friendly

The hotel was very clean including the large, plain rooms You cannot beat the location! I absolutely recommend the Irish pub across the street We did ask for a change of our linens after night 1 & some more towels Someone from the staff came in while we were out in the heat all day, dropped off towels, NEVER touched the linens for us & TURNED OUR A/C OFF Not nice The Air conditioning could really work better But, overall, we were pleased & we will be back

Kylie McNerlin

We stayed here for one night on our way to a further destination Very clean and practical Great location- within walking distance to many things

The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the bathroom was a nice touch The walls are thin, but that is expected with the age of the building My only (minor) complaint is the breakfast- it would benefit from some protein, even if hard boiled eggs Overall, we would absolutely stay again

Neesa S

Excellent stay, excellent property Character for days, and her staff are the friendliest people, they really make you feel they are invested in your stay We are combining our 30th anniversary and a family visit in Bangor PA

We have been warmly greeted noting our special occasion They went a bit extra also Okay, the room is clean and very adequate, no odors of any kind and the beds plus pillows make for a restful sleep We are on the side not main street I believe that makes a difference in how quiet our room is Housekeeping is outstanding, the continental breakfast is very thoughtful The young lady working that offering is on top of it, an amazing human Helpful in every way We will stay here every time we return to this areaLove the Penn Stroud, we so appreciate you!

If you’re looking for a fun getaway, look no further than Camelback Resort! Located in the heart of the Poconos, it’s a decent drive from New Jersey, New York, and of course locations in PA! Featuring an amazing indoor water park, amusement rides, an arcade and more, there’s never a dull moment hereThe hotel staff were very helpful and courteous throughout our entire stay We enjoyed the water park the most, which had numerous water slides, a tidal wave pool, a splash pad for little kids, a sauna, outdoor pool, a lazy river, drinks, food, and more

The indoor water park is worth the visitAbove that, you’ll find amusement rides and activities The place was pretty busy but there weren’t any long lines anywhere And the pizza was pretty good, although pricey-Everything was wheelchair accessible and friendly-Masks were worn by a lot of staff and a few others-Parking is ample and valet service is available-Shuttle services were available and there are daily activities on their website

We had an awesome trip! The rooms were clean and there were tons of amenities However, the service was inconsistent It seemed like every section had some staff that was awesome and some staff that couldn’t be bothered

We saw that at the front desk, at Trails End, and at Donut Decorating The only place that had consistently excellent service was the Arcadia Skills Center They were all very nice and knowledgeable Will definitely be back!

Gracie Terrell

We went here with our kids, ages 7 & 11, during spring break and they loved it! Was suppose to stay 2 nights but ended up having to leave after 1 night due to a family emergency Staff was understanding and refunded us for the second night since it was only 0900 when we had to leave promptly While here the place was clean and the staff was great

We were luckily able to experience their breakfast buffet which was AMAZING! Definitely recommend going if you kids and need a quick getaway

Nice hotel for a last minute stay It was super spotless and clean! I don’t understand how this is only rates a 2 star hotel as we never staybat under 3, and I was so impressed! We came in extremely late, being too tired to drive through the Pocono Mountain night fog The lady who checked us in gave excellent customer service, giving us a late night gift bag

Also, they happily extended our check out time to noon, so I could get some sleep My only criticism is that the Breakfast hours are too limited

Went for a wedding and while it was beautiful, there were quite a few issues First off the room: very tiny No curtains only blinds so the light wakes you up immediately

The curtain pole was also broken so when we tried to hang a blanket on it to keep the room dark, it revealed to already have been broken Checking in and out was easy enoughThe wedding was lovely but the wait staff was taking our plates before we were done The bar was closed all during dinner for some reason??? It seemed they were very anxious to get everything wrapped up because they started breaking down the wedding an hour before the wedding was even over so we felt rushedAll in all not a terrible experience but definitely not my favorite Just be aware when booking here you get what you pay for, even a little less

Brianna Celiano-Hutton

We got married here at Terraview on 9/25/21 and it was the most magical day of our lives! Linda and the Stroudsmoor team did an amazing job making our dreams come true! Everything was seamless and our guests still our raving about our magical day (5 months later)! I can’t stop looking at my pictures and the beautiful scenery we had for our early fall wedding The suite we stayed in was beautiful with and was big enough for my bridal party and I to get ready in the morning of We rented out the full Cedar House and it was a wonderful place for my husband and his groomsmen to get ready the day of and for all us to celebrate after

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the delicious food and beautiful venue we chose here at Stroudsmoor We even had our rehearsal dinner on location in the private stone room and it was just perfect If you’re looking for a beautiful, mountain top wedding then look no further! Wish we could relive the day again and again!

Connie Stine

Stroudsmoor is my favorite place for dinner We’ve been there for the buffets and they certainly have lived up to my expectations The salad bar is always fresh with alot of selections, the main buffet is grand with many side selections on the side

Desserts just make the evening complete I do wish there would be a dress code for the type of place it is

My husband and I had an incredible stay here for our anniversary last weekend The owner was so amazing and accommodating (helped my husband pack a cooler with ice for my pumped breast milk!) and the breakfast was incredibly delicious Room was so clean, jacuzzi tub was great

The grounds were beautiful and there were lots of great restaurants near by We will be back for sure! Next time with friends!!

The RoseMary Inn has all you could ask for and more! This bed & breakfast is beautifully appointed, spacious and very clean The owner Jeanne is a charming and gracious host along with being a fabulous chef! Jeanne makes a delicious, hearty breakfast which is creatively presented and served to perfection! The inn is a hidden gem among the woodlands of Columbia NJ and nearby Delaware Water Gap There are many places to relax on the property like the pretty stone patio, the cozy fire pit area and the gazebo at the edge of the pond

If you are interested in exploring the area there are wineries, breweries and hiking Our favorite dinner out was at The Post Time Pub Our room had a wonderful view of the pond and all the amenities of a 5-star hotel We are already planning another visit!

This was our 4th visit to the resort and we already have 2 more lined up We have stayed in the suites, a lakeside cabin, and once in a small cottage in the woods The suites are gorgeous and modern with vaulted ceilings and have a great view of the grounds

They are more of a luxury hotel room with a microwave and espresso machine (I brought my own Keurig with me because I cannot go without my regular coffee) The cottages and cabins have kitchens that are stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils You will need to bring your own toiletries We just came back from a stay in a lakeside cabin and this was our favorite so far for the location, view and access to the lake just steps from the front door The fishing is unbelievable due to the perfect size of the lake and because the owners keep it stocked so well We bring our own food so that we can make quick things to eat in between times out on the lake You need to leave the resort to go out to eat, but that isn’t our focus when we visit anyway, so it is a non-issue We spoke with Amber at the front desk a few times while making our reservation this last time and she helped us pick out the best cabin location for what we wanted, which was somewhere quiet and with boat access steps away We have also spoken with Nadine at the front desk and she is also quite amazing and helpful when making our reservations and during the check in and out process This resort is a true getaway and we really love it here!

Kayjay Claveria

Just spent a weekend here, and have to admit we were very disappointed with our stay First of all, the check in lady was rude and not very welcoming I had a few questions and she quickly rushed me through check-in and handed me our packet

I also felt their website was misleading, and what we paid was not worth the price of staying for the weekend I was told there was “a lot to do here” by the check in lady, but everything was closed and the only thing available was a quick 2mile hike around the lake None of the boats or fishing gear were available for rent, which we were very disappointed by Also there is no food available on site, you have to leave the resort every time you want to eat, and everything was about a 10-15min drive away depending on what you wanted to eat Our cabin was beautiful and clean, which we loved We also enjoyed the fireplace But that was the only thing we enjoyed For almost $1000 for a weekend, we were better off staying at a hotel somewhere else and looking for the public hiking options However, we booked this trip over a year ago and had already out down a deposit so we were obligated to still go We rebooked for the SAME weekend a year later and the price had gone up by $300-400 extra! Which I truly don’t understand, because as previously stated, there was not much to do and not much available The resort was empty, and it wasn’t a busy weekend/holiday weekend so I’m not sure what could have made the price go up I think this might have been more worth it had we been here for a wedding with a bigger group of people Overall, very disappointed and would not recommend

My cabin was amazingThe fireplace added a great ambiance for a romantic getawayAlso the shower is next level, you may enjoy it the most with a rain shower head and 3 additional side jets

Excellent experience The room is really nice, the employees are all really friendly and helpful The casino had a good mix of games

The pool is beautiful and the pool bar was the best bar in the place The food was really good to, my only complaint was the pizza place The pizza was tasty but it took FOREVER because there was a long line and only one woman working there I give her credit though because she worked her butt off and I don’t fault her for the wait We’re definitely looking forward to coming back

Rebecca

Had a great time The hotel and casino were both very clean Great shower (but would have loved a tub)

Like most reviews I’ve read about this resort, it will get 4 stars because of the lack of a mini fridge in the room (this should be a standard amenity nowadays), and the prices of the mini bar items Most nice hotels now provide a few complimentary bottles of water, but if you wanted the water in this room it cost $7! Yikes Checkout was smooth, staff very friendly, valet was surprisingly quick Overall we would definitely stay again, but I hope they get on par with the fridge situation

Went on a Sunday between 12:30-3pm Most all table games including Craps, Roulette, and Three card poker were $5 minimum (Blackjack $15 minimum) That was a very pleasant surprise

The dealer at 3 card (Christopher) was very enjoyable and fun to play with As long as the table games are affordable, I will continue to come back Very satisfied with my previous visit (8/7/22)

Just came back from a weekend here with friends It was wonderful We stayed in a dog friendly cabin – was great to be able to bring ours along

Check in was fast & easy We were able to get in early and enjoy the poolThe pool was a super fun vibe There were multiple drag queens doing performances and an awesome DJ Everyone was having a great time Lots of options for drinksWe had dinner and lunch at the restaurant I was very impressed by the food, but the service was a bit slow & chaotic First half our party got entrees, then our appetizers came, then 30 min later the rest of the entrees showed up The restaurant itself is brand new & immaculateWe didn’t spend much time at the club but it seemed niceI hope to return soon and spend more time here!

Been coming to this place for 8 years and I love it All the staff, drag queens (Tracy d Dior Ariel and Francesca) Are truly the best, big asset to this place

Bring the ambience to a different level and because of that we will continue to come We keep bringing our friends over and the community seems to be very nice and welcoming Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Some details: *WE LEFT THE KEY IN THE ROOM AND LEFT OFF TO ANOTHER HOTEL* we booked on a Saturday night in April 2022 (so no pool yet of course) and only two of us for the booking I would steer away from this “resort” as much as possible When my boyfriend booked this for us, I was SO excited because of the pictures and the description of the whole place on their website

He booked it for us and didn’t double check with me The nightclub was a huge anticipation for me We get to the place, off the bat super confused where to park, but wasn’t a big deal Then we go inside to get our room key and check in, a nice woman at the front desk helps us and gives us room #1 in the same building as the lobby When we got up there… it was disgusting The room was still dirty, there were hairs on the bed, the sheets were messed up, there was a soda bottle in the sink and it was a super small room, so I definitely wasn’t expecting that That room felt like it was going to cave in at any second No TV or anything other than a dresser and a table and a really stiff bed We decided to ask for another room We spoke to another front desk associate who seemed as if we were an inconvenience, but this time they gave us room #5 in the same building It turned out to be the room right next to the stairs and we heard EVERYTHING The room felt SO dirty This room was clean but the windows were so crusty, the table was so worn out, under the sink was…gross The bed was stiff and it felt like I was in the 1980s with old furniture that came from a thrift store I felt so uncomfortable The lobby looked so nice and artsy so I thought I would be met with the same in the rooms No, It was not artsy It was gross We called another hotel to book same day and left the key on the table, that’s how bad it was The second room we were given had a wrinkled bed too I would give it 0 stars, but I can’t so it’s a 1 star for me I added some pictures to this place if you wanted to take a look They had two odd and different looking chairs next to a rundown table Hopefully they can learn from the bad reviews theyre gaining in 2022 alone
