DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR EVENTS AT SPOOKY NOOK! They will charge you even if your event is cancelledMy basketball team’s tournament was cancelled 2 days prior to arrival When we called the warehouse hotel to cancel and refund our reservation, they would not provide a full refund given we were within 72 hours of our arrival

DISASTER! The reason we aren’t coming is because Spooky Nook cancelled our tournament and alerted us within the 72 hour window!! Complete bait and switch Shameful to cancel on an event and still charge you when you no longer have a reason to come to the facility! Speaks to their greed and customer service Do not trust this hotel They will screw you

I booked a Sights and Sounds show, I requested a 7pm show I was booked the deal! Here’s what I got arrived at 4pm for check in was presented with tickets to show that was booked for 3pm I stated that there was a mistake the clerk said oh no there’s never a show at 7pm on week days

Smh in discuss I asked to speak with the manager Was told none would be available until tomorrow, I asked where’s the restaurant and was told it was closed 🙃 Now I can’t get a meal or a show 🤔 but I can stay in the room with no microwave and I want to cry! This place is on a secluded dirt road and should be named the old alley The desk chair in my room almost put me on the floor 🙃 I feel like I’ve stepped into the twilight zone! I’ve never experienced anything like this and I don’t recommend this place! Over 2hrs drive and the only thing available to eat is about another 30 minutes drive I can’t believe this 😫 and there’s no accountability! That’s why I decided to warn others this place is a whole in the wall and they bamboozled me good! Don’t let this happen to you purchase your own tickets for shows there’s no emails sent out so you don’t have a clue about what’s actually purchase, until you arrive YOU’VE BEEN WARNED AND THE STAFF NEEDS SENSITIVITIES TRAINING AND DIVERSITY TRAINING That young ignorant clerk ought to be glad that I know Jesus

Emma Daniels

My whole anniversary was a bust The booking agent screwed me up I wanted 😒 evening show and received tickets for a show that started a hr before My check in time I told front desk clerk that there’s a mistake and she told me to call theater I did and was told that the hotel would have to switch tickets

When I was told tickets are non refundable I have literally been sick since! I would check out but the drive home is so long 😩 don’t let my experience become yours book your own TICKETS AND THERE MUCH BETTER HOTELS ALSO RESTAURANT ONLY OPEN ON WEEKEND I DROVE 37 MINUTES TO FIND A RESTAURANT SMH THE FOOD WAS OVER PRICED AND A ADDED DISAPPOINTMENT 😞 YOU’VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

I got a room at the MainStay Suites because I needed something affordable that would give me some peace and quiet It checked the box for me Check in desk was super friendly and very helpful

The room was comfortable and clean Note: this is not a five star hotel so it was slightly dated but functional I would stay here again, no questions asked

Aubrey Martin

This was a solid stay All the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating We had a room with two queens and pullout sofa which was enough for 5 people

The room offers a stove, full fridge, dishes, cups silverware, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster Easy to make yourself at home, grab groceries to cook Grab and go breakfast in the morning is great if you are traveling with kids (cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins-assorted flavors, yogurt-assorted flavors, danishes-assorted flavors, coffee, tea, flavored creamers, heat and eat breakfast sandwiches) Descent size pool that goes from 3-5 feet Pool towels provided Outdoor seating by and close to the pool Three floors, one elevator that worked efficiently The AC in the room worked extremely well My only issue with the room was it smelled like a cigarette and minor wall paper peeling (nothing a little fabreeze can’t fix) Beds comfy as well as the pillows very soft and fluffy If in the area for work or a quick getaway, I would stay here again Scoops icecream shop (they also serve food) and mini golf are 50ft awayso quick bites, desert, and entertainment close Shopping, grocery stores, restaurants are no more than 15 minute drive

From the mouth of babes: “Best hotel Ever” Mind you she hasn’t been to many This is one of the best budget friendly hotels we’ve been to

Breakfast: big props to the cook, he kept everything clean, well stocked, hot, deliciousPool: not grimy like some of the other hotels we’ve seen It is not a 5 star pool in a ritzy hotelBeds: best bed – firm and somehow so comfortable – I’ve ever slept on in a hotel-wish I have the same one at homeWashrooms: it is not 100% updated, but again not going to a 5 star hotel so my expectation was in line It was clean enoughFloors: noticeably vacuumed but I’d say they’d probably miss some corners AcceptableStaff were all 💯 great Loved our stay Pay it forward and leave tips for the staff so they keep doing a good job!!

FinalGirl D

It was okay First room was very smokey with perfume overtones, but we were switched to another room without problem Room was stuffy, found some garbage in a cup but otherwise seemed clean

Quiet rooms Our beds were about 6/10 comfort for people who like soft beds as compared to firm Rooms need painting and a good cleaningBreakfast staff was pretty rude but food was good for price Pool was nice, indoors Probably will go with Hilton as opposed to this place again

Jenn Latz

We ended up at this hotel because of a gross experience at a different one 6 minutes away We were visiting Hersheypark and it was really close at an affordable price Once we arrived it was a relief to see it was clean and welcoming

The pool was a favorite of the kids and the breakfast spread was amazing The kids loved the waffle marker and the coffee was amazing Would definitely recommend!

Alright let me begin by saying I have traveled a lot both for business as well as pleasure We come to Hershey every year for a convention that’s held in the Hershey Lodge We’ve stayed at multiple hotels throughout the many trips

After driving almost 5 hours I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a very nice receptionist at the front desk after getting up to my room it was a moderate size room a king suite The room was nicely decorated and comfortable for 1 or 2 people The bed was amazingly soft and the pillows were like clouds The breakfast was different then I’ve had at other hotels yet it was nice everything was sealed in there own bags The grounds were well kept and there wasn’t garbage laying around The hotel was clean and everything looked like it had its place All in all I would probably stay here again

Sara Anderson

I went to Hershey Park as a family vacation and we last minute decided to stay an extra day so I had to call around for a room around 7 pm When I spoke to the lady at the front desk she quoted me $273 (which already was the most pricey hotel), as We needed a large enough room to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children Because of the availability and free breakfast As well as proximity to the park, I went ahead and booked it

The amenities looked decent and the breakfast looked like one of the better ones through pictures The breakfast was prepackaged egg sandwiches, plain oatmeal, yogurt, small cereal selection, toast and bagels, and two muffin selections The pictures are deceiving The breakfast was advertised as having waffle making machines with the fix-ins, multiple cereal types, fresh hot options like eggs and meats and whatnot (not everyone can eat bread or meat like on the only available 2 types of prepackaged sandwiches) , fresh food, pastries of all sorts, more than plain bagels and stale toast, no coffee! I had to go to the front desk just to have a cup of coffee! So onto the worst part…the last minute phone quote was $273 and I was charge $399 and another separate $6+ dollar unknown charge! We left the room with all of it’s contents and in excellent condition so there was no reason to charge me so much over The room was not going to be booked at that time of night so they were lucky we even paid for one of their rooms which they otherwise would have received $0 for The other suites in the area were at most $160 I was already crazy for booking the hotel at it’s phone quoted exorbitant price and then they practically double it This is the last time I book this hotel and, for that matter, use Marriott in the future!

Great stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating The front desk staff was awesomeIt is also in a great location, close to Hershey Park and my family and I had a wonderful stay

Basketball Crazy

When we arrived we were greeted with a awful smell as soon as we stepped out our car Then the desk clerk was very hard to understand and super dismissive He handed us a three page contract saying if we were loud we will be charged if we leave room a mess we charged if we up later we charged on and on

(for references I’m a 40 year old business woman with my 17 year old daughter)When we made it to the room after being treated like potential criminals, the smell from outside was very much inside the room The rooms looked like a mix of garage sale findsThe room was clean ! Points there Pillows awful and only three per queen, shower pressure was none! A small bag for shampoo (think instant oatmeal bag) And one bar of soap Yes TWO bathroom AmenitiesWe bring our own, but I’m painting a picture for youMoving on to breakfastor lack there of There were signs all over telling you what NOT to do Dirty paper signs and I quote “ No Biscuit in toaster”Breakfast was waffles, old bread, a very small crockpot of sausage gravy and cold biscuits(probably why people put in toaster)Leaving for the day we were again greeted by that awful smell the area is country and very beautiful but, farm life is all around including the source of the smell! Manure was the culprit, it was so strong it Seeped into the hotelSo in a nut shell, rude front desk, old outdated uncomfortable room, breakfast almost non-Existent, and rude signs all over telling you what NOT to do, and let’s not forget the three page contract and verbal assault on everything you will be charged for!We took pictures of the room after we left, super uncomfortable feeling of needing to prove it was left perfectly

Frank Punturieri

We stayed in a suite so we had 2 rooms Facilty is very nice and open grounds around the Inn The bathroom was very small you have to step into the room sideways between the sink and toilet to cloe the door

Very tight Bathroom and suite was very clean Location only 5 to 10 minutes from most attractions and restaurants Nice rocking chairs outside on porch All ice and beverage machines are only on the first floor A pain going up to get ice bucket and have to come all the way down again Other than those few items a very pleasant stay Staff always helpful polite with a smile

My family and I were pleasantly surprised at just how nice this motel was and how well kept it was Pool is outside but clean and nice Rooms are updated with wonderful TV’s, decent sized refrigerators, and microwaves, irons, hairdryers, and coffee although single cup

But larger cups and coffee along with sodas and water available in the office The family that runs this place are lovely warm friendly people that take a lot of pride in the place The rooms are simple, but clean and updated A/C ran perfectly and a wonderful hot shower with great water pressure! Beds are comfortable and nice clean sheets Remember this is a motel, not a hotel We only stayed 1 night but it was safe and a nice experience at a great price Restaurants are numerous and close because it is Hershey Your about 5 minutes from the park We will definitely be back for a stay again!

I have been staying at the White Rose Motel everytime I’m in town for the past 12 years! Absolutely love this place! Nice friendly staff, always clean and they constantly update and upgraded the motel It’s very well keptWhen I first stayed here I felt like I was in a movie from the 1950s

Kids in the pool, the staff pulled out a card table and was playing cards and games with some of the guests outside of the office Other guests drinking coffee out on the wrap around top floor It was just such a cool experience! I highly recommend this place!

Natalie Desrosiers

Diamond in the rough!!! The rooms/bathroom are on the small side We stayed in a room with a king bed and brought a queen size blow up mattress Thee was just enough room between the king bed and queen blowup mattress to put our suitcase hind the bathroom door

(We only had 1 large suitcase) Not super modern but VERY clean!!! The staff were very pleasant and accommodating The pool was open, however we did not use as we were gone all day exploring Hershey! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying next time we visit Hershey!

Was looking for a place to stay close to Hershey park with the family The previous reviews spoke value and I’m just adding We drove in that night arriving at the hotel at about 11pm

The host at the desk contacted me at about 9pm assuring I was okay and on my way Upon arrival the host greeted me by name and checked me in Everyone who worked here including the GM were extremely helpful and kind Making jokes and being personable which is something hard to find nowadays The hotel provided breakfast for free in the morning They also have a outdoor pool and small fitness center The hotel is located on a main road with plenty of food to eat no matter the time TVs are smart capable with apps and Direct TV for those who still watch cable I would recommend this to anyone traveling within this area Thank you for making my family comfortable during our nights stay We truly enjoyed the short time we were there Lastly rooms were extremely clean and odorless Don’t be fooled by the affordable rate this is the best hotel for the amazing price!

We had the most amazing time staying at Hersheypark Camping Resort We stayed from Sunday to Friday and visited Hersheypark 2 of those days We stayed in the basic log cabin and it was perfect! It had a full size bed for my husband and I and two single beds for my daughter and my nephew with a dresser separating the two

It was just what we needed to unplug and relax The staff were friendly and very helpful The shuttle was a nice extra that saved us quite a bit in parking fees The one thing that stood out to us was how clean the bathroom/ shower houses were The cleaning staff were on it We saw them no less than every two hours stopping in to clean and check the restrooms The water pressure and hot water was to die for and felt amazing after a long day The kids loved the pool and the volleyball court I absolutely loved the creeks especially going down to where the two creeks met It was so peaceful and was a great place to relax and be one with nature for a bit The camp store had good coffee and just about anything you needed We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back and try the deluxe cabin or maybe even to use our tent

Cynthia Trowbridge

It was a great cabin It was clean and roomy There were four of us and we could easily have added two more comfortably

The bath houses were clean and well stocked Even the showers had good water pressure The pool was a comfortable temperature There were lots of activities for children If I had one suggestion it would be coffeemakers in the cabin That’s the only hotel like amenity I would have appreciated

Marie Q

I’ve stayed here twice so far, both times it was not busy, and both times in Carousel Circle area This is a pretty large campground with all different types of sites and different sized cabins There are a couple of playgrounds, the pools, basketball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and of course the shuttle to Hersheypark

The staff is very friendly (I was walking around yesterday getting exercise and checking out the Pioneer Heights area which I hadn’t seen before, and an employee was cleaning the laundry up there and made a point to greet me and ask me how my stay was Like, no big deal or anything, but she could have just ignored me, I wouldn’t have thought she was rude or anything, she was working) There is a busy railroad track right next to the campground, which could be really cool if someone in your family is into trains It could be less cool if you weren’t aware and booked a site next to it and found the noise disturbing The trains don’t honk super close to the campground (you do hear honking though, there must be a crossing somewhere nearish) and I live near a train track so the noise doesn’t bother meThe only complaint I have is that at least some of the staff do not understand about driving RVs This is definitely not a problem unique to this campground, but both times they gave us the wrong directions to our site Both times we were in the block between Rd C and Rd D, and they told us to drive down C If you do that there are 2 problems 1, the site numbers are visible from Rd D, and 2, you have to back in, which isn’t really a problem, except it defeats the purpose of a pull-through I suggest you just look at the map, the sites are all angled, so you can tell which road you should go down But in case the campground reads this, I really suggest you get someone who actually drives a big rig to give the employees a little training, because it could cause accidents, especially with newer campers who don’t know better

Really enjoy our stay here The rooms were very modern looks like this place was refurbished recentlyThey had a very good hot breakfast of eggs and sausage

Good Cereal selection, good assortment of pastries Coffee was fresh brewed with plenty of flavor options on creamersRooms 5 starsHot and continental Breakfast 5 StarsAppearance of building outside 5 starsAppearance of inside common areas 5 Stars

The staff was excellent! We interacted with the front desk house keeping and breakfast staff Everyone was very friendly and helpfulThe pool was also really nice and didn’t feel over chlorinated

There isn’t much of a 3ft section for small swimmers but the slope is very gentle I appreciated being able to float in the 95 ft sideThe rooms were clean but it whole place could use some updating Carpet in the hall is buckled up everywhere and stained from bleach The walls in the bathroom are thin I could hear our neighbors conversations clearlyWhere we really had an issue is 2 nights in a row around 2am our neighbors got into a screaming fight in the middle of the night including slaming doors On the second night I called the front desk and with in a minute I could hear the person at the front desk talking to the neighbors and they quieted downTheir quick and efficient response to the problems made me appreciate the staff here so much more

Dana Nebel

Rooms were clean but smelled like dogs We had a housekeeper knock on our door and open it at 830 to clean when my children were still sleeping Check out is 1100, breakfast ends promptly at 9:30 and the staff made it well known multiple times to customers

By 915 staff announced that the breakfast area would be closing for breakfast at 9:30 At 925 the staff asked guests to bring their food upstairs so they may clean up breakfast, vacuum and clean the tables We went back up to our room My husband needed to use the breakfast tables/lounge at 1015 to work and was told by staff that they needed to clean and he had to move Lastly, staff were using the toaster to cook food for themselves before patrons had a chance to get their food This is a fine place if you want to rest your head and go; however, I would not recommend it for families Management needs to step up and work on customer service My family will not be staying here again

Our family (and there were 18 of us) had a fantastic time at the Canna Country Inn The “Barn” is beautifully restored, well furnished and comfortable Each family was able to have their own bedroom and private bathroom

The game room in the loft was super fun – pool table, foosball, air hockey, and pinball There are 2 kitchens that had absolutely everything you would ever need We’d also like to recognize Linda, the property manager She gave us a tour of the “barn” at check-in and explained everything, and she was there to assist us at any time if we needed anything

George Koshy

Came here for a college reunion of about 20 guys Good place for a large family or friends get together Bedrooms galore, good number of bathrooms (most attached to the bedrooms), two sets of kitchens and bars, 2 or 3 dining areas, a few lounges or meeting areas, a game room (wish there had been space for a ping pong table)

Lots of parking, I’d estimate for 10+ cars The house works better for couples since many of the beds are double beds An outdoor deck (although we didn’t use it), overlooking a lawn Not a whole lot that I saw that one could do in the immediate vicinity But relatively easy (within 30 minutes) drive to hiking trails All in all I thought it worked well and was well priced for our use

Would’ve rated it 2 stars during construction bc the pool is closed and we expected to be able to use it as it’s not listed out of service For the price paid we should’ve been made aware ahead of timeHowever, the concierge who greets patrons and serves breakfast was so kind and fun to talk w it bumped our stay back up a notch

Room was fantastic for 5 people Very comfortable and clean

Sharon Reed

The staff here are wonderful Very friendly My GPS not working correctly and Jeanne or Wilma met me at gas station nearby and they directed me to hotel

Both these gals very very kind I’d recommend this hotel due to the staff and nice rooms and nice location They also have a breakfast Overall a 5 star experience in a small town hotel

Matthew Hiserodt

Solid option for travelers in the Lancaster area Hotel prices in this neck of the woods are in my opinion greatly inflated That said the sleep inn was very reasonable compared to other options

Room was small but clean with comfortable beds Only reason I give a four instead of a five-star review was that the continental breakfast is exceptionally sparse and the water in the pool is very cold

We just came back from a weekend stay We booked the efficiency room which was perfect, very clean and cozy with plenty of room for my family of 3 Our 2

5 year old son had the time of his life Between seeing and interacting with all of the farm animals, running in the big open fields, collecting sticks by the stream, playing in the huge playhouse, riding bicycles they provide, hay rides and barrel ride through the farm It was so perfect for kids while mom and dad enjoyed the peace, relaxation, delicious homemade breakfast and just seeing our son smile and laugh We plan to come again in the fall Love it!

We stayed here because it allowed pets; I’m not so sure those pictures are real; they make it look like it’s a nice, new, clean hotel Think again When we checked in they said the room we were staying in was pet-free

They moved us into a nicer room The layout of the room was great; we had a living room, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms, but the actual hotel itself was old, decorated in a way that may or may not have been in style 30 years ago, and was somewhat dirty and dusty

One of the BEST Marriott experiences I have ever had!! The most charming staff!! Especially Kenny up front!!! The room was huge, there was an indoor and outdoor, mini basketball court and gym!! Tons of local food less than ten minutes away Constant staff and workers I usual don’t like residence inns but this was a top stop regardless of the name!!!

Super friendly staff! My room was missing several items like silverware drinking glasses and the like, and the front desk team made sure that I had replacements before the end of the day Front desk employee Kenneth was especially friendly and always more than willing to help! I stayed here three weeks for work, but my family flew in to join me for about 10 of those days He really helped to make our stay more enjoyable

It was so nice of a stay that our daughter didn’t want to leave!

Great place for pets and family, and down the road from the park!Their reservation service will price match from valid online offers — I sent a saved HTML of payment page just before payment with online with cheapest e-booking, and they matched!Call ahead if you have a larger dog (read their online policy) but management was very accommodating, and most pleasant to speak to Has a great spot for your pooch to walk and poop with a lawn behind the hotel away from traffic — but don’t forget to bring a baggie as their dispenser near the garbage was empty for my stay Still, the lawn was poop free

Indoor pool was clean and comfortable, and the loin-spawn had a blast using it I did not try to bring the dog into the pool, and I would not recommend itBreakfast service was tasty, and well kept, and would also recommend that over local restaurants for the convenience and cost savings for larger groups Food service ran like clockwork thanks to Donna, the Breakfast Manager for my visitOnly complaint might be thin walls for my room, but it wasn’t really an issue after 9 pmI plan to stay again

I wanted to rate this higher but I just can’t in good faith do that cause the beds were so bad, you’re better off sleeping on the floor Why were they so hard??? I’m glad I was there for just 1 night cause I can’t imagine being there longer than that I also woke up with backaches and the a/c kept turning off and on keeping me and my family up all night

It wasn’t a fun timeThe complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was very nice but the main reason you go to an inn is to sleep If you can’t sleep then it defeats the purpose So yeah Please spend more money on better mattresses

T. Michael Rearic

Very nice hotel Everything was clean and the staff was great The complimentary breakfast was a little lacking, as they all are but, the restaurant next door serves the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a restaurant

We came to Hershey for a concert and the hotel was exactly ONE mile from the Hershey theater Parking was easy Trip was great Thanks, Hampton Inn

We spend a lot of time at Blue green reports so it is easy for us to compare experiences The location of this hotel is prime for visiting Hershey Park and surrounding areas The two bedroom suite we had was obviously updated and looked nice

However, the main toilet seat was cracked upon arrival and the next morning we found out the coffee pot was also cracked so we couldn’t make coffee However, one call to guest services and both issues were corrected The other downside to the rooms are there are no balconies at this resort which we normally enjoy relaxing on The pools are on the smaller side for a Blue green but overall it is a nice resort

Linda Waldron-Inman

We were booked in a 2 bedroom suite There was a fully equipped kitchen A tv in each room

Laundry equipment in the suite Beach towels were provided for the pool The room was very clean It’s not like a hotel It’s a timeshare You are expected to leave dishes in the dishwasher and not dirtyThey have all sorts of things to do basketball court Pingpong table Outdoor grill We had a great time

a charter

The front desk agent was fabulous I checked in on 4/15 at around 3:15 PM He even held the room across from mine for my family that would check in later

The underground parking was free and convenient The room was everything I could hope for Great amenities in the kitchen and laundry room in our room Spectacular fireplace Ample space for a family of 5 Two bathrooms Clean I really loved the two bedroom suiteThe one thing that I thought was odd, was having to throw out your garbage at the end of your stayThe only thing that was extremely upsetting was a staff member walking into my room without knocking I was so startled She said she thought we checked out I said I am right in the middle as you can see getting our belongings together Then she said check out is at 10AM It was 10:30 at the time It doesn’t matter what time is check out or if you “think ” we have left you must knock on the door I will always put my safety latch on from now on The location of the hotel is exceptional

This was a great getaway for my family The room was so well kept ( I usually bring my own supplies just in case, but they were never needed) The pool was quiet and my daughter enjoyed the time in there

Our room was also nice and quiet and spacious Breakfast had a great variety of food, which is always helpful since I have two picky eaters Noah, who checked us in was so kind and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable My daughter enjoys coming out to Hershey around her birthday so this is our new go to! Thank you for everything

Kristin Picco

I was apprehensive to stay here after reading the other reviews, but we decided to go for it We were very happy with our stay Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of towels (many hotels now only give 2 towels per room which doesn’t work for a family)

The next morning we went down for breakfast at 8:30AM (which I highly recommend because after 9AM it started to get crowded) Breakfast consisted of muffins, english muffins, bagels, bread (toaster available), yogurt, bananas, apples, oatmeal, eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, make your own waffles, and 3 different kinds of cereal I would stay here again!

The Hilton Hampton Inn Suites near The Park was a great hotel stay for the price we paid Staff was and the manager there was super awesome Our room was clean and hotel had a indoor pool that our kids enjoyed, as the weather outside was super cold

Kids were even more excited when they found out they can make their own waffle for breakfast, with the waffle iron Regular breakfast food was just average All in all, this hotel was great and 4mins away from Hershey Park

I read reviews before booking this bed and breakfast I was not let down This was a clean, beautiful place with great character

The inn keeper, Nancy, was so nice and caring She was always interested in her patrons and ready to help She prepared a wonderful 3 course breakfast every morning The only issue, if I want to call it an issue, was the ac unit that was in the window next to the bed I will certainly book here again
