Booked a King Bed room two weeks in advance at $21612 with taxes for Saturday & Sunday with check out on Monday I arrived to be told that I needed to pay $330

89 After I showed my confirmation email it went down to $29887 They were not able to explain the additional charge and told me that reservations changed the rate after I booked the room I am a Diamond member with Wyndham so I immediately called them I was transferred four times and hung up on once The call took 2 hours, I sat in the lobby for two hours without assistance from the GM who could have manually adjusted the rate upon my check in The front desk clerk – Liz was quick to understand the error and discuss it with the GM & Customer Care and Reservations This location charged my card $15000 at 2 pm and check in is not available until 3 pm Then I was told they have a deposit on top of the taxes They ended up canceling my reservation and creating a new reservation for one night and asked me to extend my stay for the next day I made it into a room three hours after I arrived at the hotel The room had hair in the bed, a dirty shower and the bathroom had water damage to the sheet rock as well as damage to the bottom of the bathroom doors I attached pictures as proof I will no longer go to any Wyndham properties after this experience, they lost a Diamond customer

I should have read the reviews because now I realize that this is a pattern They are thieves The manager is extremely rude

I booked the hotel for four nights and paid $36106 then another $50 that I didn’t understand when i got to the hotel I came from Connecticut to find an apartment in Forth Worth, i thought it was going to take days to get it but i got it on the second day so I decided to check out I asked them if they would refund and the answer was YES! If they had said no i would have stayed for the entire 4 nights Now i pack up and go to the front desk, the manager comes up and instead of crediting my account with $18370 he debits me instead of $18370 I realized it when i got to my apartment So now you owe me my refund plus the debit you just made I honestly thought it was an unintentional mistake until i called the hotel and spoke with the manager This guy was extremely rude and eventually told me to take it up with my bank I haven’t gotten my refund back or the second debit he made I’ve been back to the hotel twice and all effort to get back my money has proved futile If you would not refund the money then at least give me back my money that you claim you mistakenly debited I need help in getting my money back These people shouldn’t be allowed to do this to people

I was in this hotel in room 226 in March The hotel seems nice (not very clean though) and they are renovating some areas They charge you a $50 deposit upon checking in, but what they don’t tell you is that theere are bedbugs in the room

I can accept almost anything but bedbugs They are disgusting and you can carry them back home in your luggage without noticing When I told the front desk about it, they didn’t seem really surprised They didn’t offer any compensation or solution other than a “sorry about that” I don’t care how clean or renovated a hotel seems if it has a bedbugs problem Check the beds upon entering the room

The biggest reason I am giving five stars is because of Ahjonae She helped my husband with booking this hotel for me super last minute during the ice storm I am a nurse who works nearby and needed a local place to stay while working through the storm

She made sure everything was taken care of for me and knew exactly who I was the moment I walked in the door She was SO NICE and incredibly accommodating Excellent customer service! The room was also clean and comfortable, I slept great And the breakfast was delicious Highly recommend staying here

Timothy Green

Comfortable and quiet Off the beaten path just the right amount The staff has always treated me so kindly and accommodating to the extreme! Today I had a beer in the lobby after classes all day

Completely needed that, thank you The breakfast is pretty standard hotel compliment, but you can tell how much the cook cares about the food, cleanliness, and presentation My rooms have all been clean and comfortable Never out of sorts, at all This little hotel is booked solid pretty regularly, so book earlyThanks for letting me stay with you

Stayed here a few years back and fell in love with the grounds but not as much as we fell in love with Martha & Richard They are both amazing and make you feel at home It is the place I proposed to my fiancé and the place we got married

Cant say enough about this Bed and BreakfastActually I guess I can, the breakfast here is amazing Cant wait to come back for our anniversary later this year!

noralee.

Celebrated our engagement here recently We stayed in the Lily of the Valley room which was amazing Martha gave us a quick tour of the grounds and showed us how everything worked in the room

It was a seamless stay I also appreciated the fans going when we arrived — the room stayed nice and cool! We accidentally slept in (seriously best beds ever!) too late for breakfast which we regretted, but it’ll be all the more reason to go back soon!

Ingrith Aguayo

I highly recommend this B&B!I do not even know where to start but I booked a room to get away from home and celebrate my husbands birthday! Martha, the owner made sure she received us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stayWhen I arrived in the room, some champagne and homemade cookies where waiting for us! Martha is a super host! The jacuzzi was super big, and complementary toiletries were provided! The B&B has a nice station for drinks and emergency kit!The house is super big and the garden is beautiful with a gazebo and many other places around the house to just sit and relax! The breakfast was amazing! Homemade food is the best!I just truly enjoyed the stay and appreciated the owners taking care of us!This is a must stay!

Felicia Torres

Nice staff, good customer service The beds are very comfortable and the room and premises are well maintained The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and not over chlorinated

I removed a star because the water pressure in the shower was weak, there were ants in the pool area and the extras I asked for online (extra towels and pillows), which the hotel confirmed they would accommodate, were not put in my room Otherwise this was a good place to stay and well worth the price

Amber Kimberling

Not Instagram worthy perhaps, but perfect in functionality Beds were good (little firm to be but not bad) The hot tub and pool were great and clean

The staff was super friendly, professional, and helpful And they even had a sample size of laundry detergent we could use to do laundry before we leftI will definitely consider this place again in the future

Toni Blake-Gonzalez

Hotel staff is very welcoming Hotel is also very clean and well keptHotel does provide a courtesy van to/from airport

Hot breakfast, gym and pool are a great addition Hotel is within walking distance to many eateriesBesides the housekeeper walking in on me🙈 My visit was great and will definitely patron this hotel again

For what we paid, I expected better Overall, the rooms were clean, I appreciated breakfast, and the easy walk to The Stockyards was perfect I also enjoyed the pool and the smell of the provided body wash

If it was cheaper, I’d stay again But at this price point, the following was not satisfactoryThe fresh sheets in two of our rooms were damp/wet upon arrivalThe bathroom faucet knob falls offThe bathroom door is a barn door (doesn’t seal in smells or steam) and the door handle slams into the wall because there’s no stopThe room smells kind of musty if the air isn’t on

Melissa Ellis

Pretty hotel and great location, but wayoverpriced We stayed in 2nd large kingroom and it was 400 first night and 1662nd night No service, no room clean (theydid not even take out the trash), and wehad to go to the front desk to get toiletpaper

Breakfast was fair …sausage wascrisp and everything was just standardfare The staff was nice and beds comfy, but I would never pay that price again Feltripped off at SH Suites On a positive note, the rooftop restaurant was beautiful andthe tapas were top notch The drinks wereexcellent but we paid about $16 each Beautiful view

Dawn Brown

Nice, new hotel in the heart of the Stockyards Super comfy bed and a wonderful breakfast made our staycation so relaxingWe had drinks and a bite to eat at the rooftop restaurant Ático and enjoyed beautiful sunset!Would absolutely stay again!

Try to stay here but the person who made my reservation was too incredibly high After a ridiculous 20 minute phone call with reservations and confirming three times the date of my reservation which was for the day I was calling I arrived at the hotel and was told it was made for the wrong day and that there were no rooms available Normally I would not accuse someone of being high but in this situation it is the only way I can explain how they were acting

I was expecting a little more from a four-star hotel but was sadly disappointed and had to sleep in my truck after a 20 Hour drive Maybe the hotel is nice on the inside if you are actually able to successfully make a reservation

Chris Baillio

Had a great experience here Amy went above and beyond to get us rebooked where we would normally have to change rooms we didn’t She did a great job took care of everything and we really appreciate her hospitality We will be returning here the rooms were very clean we ended up ordering outback through DoorDash and they completely screwed up our order which has nothing to do with the hotel but I feel like I should mention it

Nataly Rodriguez

0 stars if I could I made a two day reservation, paid both days in full of course I wasn’t able to check in on the first day due to a family emergency

I got there on the second day and they said they had canceled my reservation without contacting me even though I had already paid They refuse to give me a refund so I will stay clear from this hotel and make sure my friends and family do as well now for future trips!

Michael Yeager

I very much enjoyed the staff The front desk people were always friendly and helpful The hot breakfast was a great start to the day

We were in a (2) double bed room and I hated the layout The vanity was wide open to the beds, the commode and tub were in an impossibly tight space like a cruise ship, and the closet was tiny with poor access The fits and finishes were that of a lower tier chain The rate through Expedia was high

Claire

Location and staff are great but I would take your money elsewhere First, the hotel is very old The room reeked of mildew and smoke even though it was a “smokeless” room

The bed was so old that it was indented in the middle from kids jumping on the bed The wall unit could not keep up with Texas summer I had it set to the lowest setting and it was constantly running but not cooling the room Then I noticed the previous person had wrapped the fire alarm with a trash bag When I brought this up to the front desk personnel, he said maintenance was gone for the day and he would address it the next day (I was checking out the next day…)

Jenny Terrazas

There was coacroaches in our room and in the hallways of the hotel I brought it up to the staffs attention and he didn’t seem very concerned Our room smelled musty and the restroom is tiny

Breakfast was a huge let down and the staff was extremely unfriendly I went to the front desk to ask for extra towels and they didnt have any clean ones One of elevators had an issue where it will close the doors you press the buttons and it wont go anywhere Your just stuck inside which is pretty scary Overall it was not a good experience For the almost $500 we payed I expected way better We will not be staying there again

Overall a great hotel Love the extended stay style but with very nice clean appliances What made it a lower rating was the noise

That highway penetrates every nook and cranny of those walls I think they got screwed by the builder on insulation? Either way they were friendly people, good setup and good breakfast Loved the dishwasher in the room Very nice

The gentleman that checked us into the hotel tonight was extremely rude When my family walked into the hotel room the gentlemen didn’t speak I had to speak to him which okay I understand not everyone has been taught customer service but working in hospitality you would think one has been trained on it My rooms were paid for via credit card however the gentlemen said only one night was showing paid for I was showing the entire weekend charged

I’ve never booked rooms and only paid for one night upfront and pay the rest when you get there! Since when is that a thing? and again I have an email showing when it was charged and for the total amount He then refunded my credit card and charged my debit card for the total I also specifically requested adjoined rooms and was told I couldn’t have them when I got there It was my husband three kids and so and while it was okay to separate us we shouldn’t have had to We haven’t even laid our heads down for the night and I am highly upset and annoyed with this hotel and will not return nor recommend

Our family was there for a funeral And you front desk workers on all shift helped our family above and beyond we are so greatful And the breakfast was amazing

Loved all the breakfast options they provided!! Everything was fresh !!! Our trip due to being a sad trip But your hotel made it a lot easier on our whole familyThank you from the bottom of our hearts! I would recommend your location Again thank you so much sincerely the kobell family

Again best hotel I’ve stayed at, not just dallas/fort worth, but even counting all the states I travel to These guys are reliable, hardworking, fair, dependable Clean rooms, always perfect

0 complaints I switched from choice hotels and wydman, giving up my diamond member status in both to stay at Marriott hotels and although I find them all phenomenal, this one is literally outstanding The front desk staff morning and night are respectable and even the cleaning and alternative staff will great you Thank you for the stay

We had a short stay for business We used the Drover facilities and stayed the nightThe service was excellent

The food provided for our meetings was delicious and had a great varietyMy room was small but comfortable The bathroom was clean and the brass, antique style shower was interesting and refreshingI’ll be back with family for a fun weekend Too many things within walking distance to name

Amber Morris

Staff was top notch The impeccable attention to detail with the decor was out of this world Every turn there is a surprise and if you keep looking, you’ll find more subtle touches of Americana and ode to the southwest

It smells delicious in the hotelOnly giving four stars because I feel like for the price of this hotel there should be in room dining and better coffee in the room It was really bad coffee and super cheap coffee fixings Have had better at CourtyardsThe pool seems kind of small for the size of the hotel as well, but it was really beautiful Would love to go back and experience this place in the winter with the firepit

Fred Peabody

The Hotel staff were friendly My room was large and clean Bed comfortable

Pool clean and well maintained Everything you could hope for The dining was the worst mess of disorganization I’ve ever seen They opened at 7AM, but were not ready and unable to serve the people expecting to eat So, on short notice, they announced that Saturday, they’d not open until 8AM People showing up at 830 were told to return in a few hours for breakfast They didn’t seem concerned of the inconvenience this caused I’ve had better breakfast service in a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or others So, if I have to seek out a meal at another place, I might as well stay at another clean, comfortable, cheaper hotel, then go to a real restaurant Coffee isn’t available in the Lobby, but $5 a cup at the restaurant Breakfast for a light eater can easily top $25

This is for an 8 day visit in Fort Worth, TXFirst we made our reservations a year in advance They didn’t have a room ready for us when we arrived

Second night we got back to our room and we were locked out because they wanted to change our room without warning to usThe food and condiments were slim pickings or missing…didn’t have any butter or syrup yet have a pancake maker…the bagels and muffins are staleThey say they only clean your room every 3 days yet don’t leave you extra trash bags or towels or toilet paperWhen they finally cleaned our room all they did was take our trash, still no towels, toilet paper, or fresh linens Or cleaning quite franklyThen they didn’t always have coffee ready and available in the morning and the machines in the room are special so you can’t go out and buy your own to make itThe pancake maker was faulty every dayOh and the extra blanket that we needed for our fold-out couch for our child to sleep on had a huge hole in it, ended up buying a blanket to keep her warm at night The pillows were flat so we bought those too to make our stay more comfortableWe were on the 3rd floor and there were ants in our bathroom Pool bottom never gets vacuumed so there’s a lot of sand on the bottom of the pool

Amy V

Room was very clean, beds were comfortable and a king room was separated from the living room by another door that I loved for more privacy Front desk agents was extremely helpful and was able to provide me with toiletry items since our flight was cancelled and the airlines holds the Bags The facility also has a laundry washer and dryer

Takes coins but they do have an ATMThank you for providing a comfortable clean room after a stressful day at the airport

The room was great Very comfortable and clean No light at night which was wonderful

The disappointing aspect was getting to my room I’d just arrived from a cab from the airport where my flight had been delayed until the next day I was present with the airline staff as they booked my reservation with this exact hotel and address on my hotel voucher The hotel attendant (0200 on June 14) said my reservation, “wasn’t showing up in the system” and needed my card I said I’d wait in the lobby until it showed up (the reservation) In approximately 30 minutes she said it still wasn’t showing up So I gave them my card and was charged Which is to be expected I had to get transport back to the airport in a few hours Slept well The front desk attendant said, “there’s no shuttle and just looked at me” It would’ve been helpful to have some suggestions ready for me However she did eventually give me a number to call I understand my circumstance was different and this wasn’t a planned vacation However, if this hotel is on the list of options to stay after a flight is canceled/delayed it’d be helpful for the staff to have resources to pull up reservations, have suggestions as it’s a stressful time The rating is based on my experience but the quality of the room was excellent and breakfast looked wonderful Will the airline reimburse me? I hope so But, the point is that I’m still dealing with it when the airline tried to make it easy with the voucher

Brandon Noto

I want to commend the staff, and in particular the manager Pesina She went exceedingly above and beyond to serve us and ensure our stay was enjoyable I travel a lot and many times with students and I have never experienced this type of service

She made a difficult check-in and check-out process easy and was very reassuring We also really enjoyed the breakfast! We will be back!

We were in town from Chicago and overall the stay was fine The hotel most definitely needs to be updated and I do have to say breakfast in the morning was not good so we ended up having to find a restaurant because it was that inedible People who worked there were nice in the room was clean but again, the whole place really needs to be updated

The Deluxe suite was nice because you could close the door between the areas and have your kiddo sleep on one side while you hung out on the other Rooms were clean Pool was iffy, and not that pleasant because it was so hot in there

Diane, who did the breakfast, was very friendly and brought oat milk out for us For vegans, there’s cereal, English muffins, peanut butter and jam, fruit, coffee, and juice

Very clean, fun bright colors… the rooms have a dorm type look with a desk and lots of places to store stuff The beds are comfortable I would definitely recommend

I think they are going for a young/hip vibe, but technically anyone can stay right? And just because it was an issue at the last hotel I stayed at… no funny air freshener smell Yay! Also, the sheets were soft

Great hotel, the atmosphere was great, i liked that if you have the app and can unlock your door from that Room and bathroom was clean and updated Loved that it was just a shower, didn’t have to step in

Bed was comfortableLocation is nice, right off the highway Not in a scary location Wish the TV had a guide and the soft drinks weren’t so expensive Those 2 things are the reason why I gave it 4 stars

The staff is friendly and the hotel room itself is nice and cleanThe cons:Elevators smell like old toilet water inside a nursing home It’s very unpleasant

The vending machines are sad Nearly empty snack machine and the good drinks in the soda machine were sold outOther than that I had a quiet stay, but I doubt I’d stay here again
