I decided to book this 2-star hotel when I looked at the newly renovated “castle” building in Google photos, the building looks so magnificent and I have no doubt that this well worth $280 price tagAfter I arrived, I looked around in the castle building try to find my room, but I could not locate my room Soon I realized that this castle building is just the lobby building with very limited rooms, the actual room I booked is located in an older building outside the castle, which is not showed in the photos

These photos are arranged in a way to give you false impression that you are living in the new building It is kind of embarrassing that you are lost when looking for your room in the Grand building, imagine you will sleep in the magnificent new building, in the end staff escort you out to your side building To be honest I will not even look at this hotel if not believing that I will sleep in the new grand buildingAfter checking google map, I realized this hotel have new castle grand building (lobby + limited rooms), two side buildings (accommodate most rooms) and many individual cabinsThe room I booked is located on one of the side buildings, the building is old and hallway is dark (musty smell) It is obvious hotel put most attention and money into the main lobby/grand building Room is pretty big with two queen beds, pretty much what to expect from 2-star hotelFree breakfast is hosted in the main lobby building, very nice Bacon and eggs are cooked perfectly, very delicious

We loved our stay at this lovely Inn Our 2 queen loft room was spacious with full kitchen and all the essentials, the separate loft space was perfect for a little privacy Very clean, bed comfortable, and shower had lots of hot water with good pressure

There is a indoor outdoor heated pool with 2 large jacuzzi tubs and plenty of large pool towels nice lounging areas and fire place The included breakfast came with many options Location is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping The manager Michelle and other staff were so kind and accommodating She even let my daughter pick out a stuffed animal from the gift shop She made our stay even better Highly recommend!

Holly Hastings

Stayed in the settler’s room, we decided to add an additional night to our stay, and they accommodated us with no inconvenience Honestly, this hotel has been by far my favorite out of our two week road trip (with our dog) between 3 states The hospitality and rustic charm truly made our stay relaxing

The room was cozy enough that we spent almost a full day of our trip just relaxing in our room The lobby remodel is gorgeous and hot chocolate and cookies in the evening is a big 👍 Can’t say enough good things Will only be staying here in the future when we visit

Booked our trip last minute so wasn’t sure what to expect but we’re very pleasantly surprised Cabins are quaint but very clean and equipped with everything you could want Beds were comfy enough after a long ski day

What I really appreciated was how quiet it was even on a holiday weekend Very easy walk into downtown Shuttle service is convenient and the driver Jeff entertains with his Cowboy poetry Continental breakfast is a nice bonus on your way to the mountain I’d pick this over one of the more traditional hotels in town any day!

Joanne Howard

Loved it! These cabins are adorable, clean and well worth the value Service was excellent The free ski shuttle was also a huge plus

Super convenient and always on time I suppose the free breakfast was nothing special, but it was free The rooms are a little on the dated side, but again, so worth the value; we noticed everything else in Jackson Hole was pretty pricey, so we were happy to save money here to spend elsewhere

Scott Burgess

This place looked promising when we arrived but fell short fast Check-in process was very fast but friendliness was just not there, both at check in and check out It’s a good thing we were exhausted from visiting and hiking the park because these were some very old saggy and lumpy mattresses

The sheets had several stains on them, questioning cleanliness Another negative was you could not lower the heat less than 69° making it a little stuffy for us On a positive side the kitchen area was quite nice with the essentials to prepare your own food if desired and that did seem clean Bathroom was also nice There was a very simple continental breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, fruits and a couple pastries Many other options in the area with better pricing and hopefully better mattresses Based on our stay I would not stay again or recommend cowboy Village resort

My husband and I spent a week at the White Buffalo Club at the end of January for our honeymoon It was an amazing experience, even given the staffing shortage due to the pandemic Everyone there made us feel special and welcome

We had a particularly great experience with Tom, who was driving the shuttle Tom was one of our favorite parts of our trip He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of great advice and opinions He was also very accommodating We preferred to stay downtown rather than up the mountain, and there was so much to do within walking distance Perfect location We will definitely be back

Steve Manuel

‘ll start with the good The hotel and the rooms are very nice and the staff was very helpful The rooms are decorated nicely and are very clean

However, there were 2 deal breakers First of all, the elevator was out of order I felt that this should have been disclosed prior to our stay I have a disability and it was very hard to walk up and down several flights of steps to my room without help from my family The staff did help us with the luggage, but had I known about the broken elevator, I would have picked another hotel to stay at Secondly, the hotel is on a truck route If you stay here, you will hear the trucks going by all throughout the day, starting as early as 5:00 am in the morning If you’re expecting to sleep in or take a nap, this will be a problem unless you stay in one of the few back side rooms If they remedy these issues, it would be a very nice place to stay But with these unresolved problems, I wouldn’t recommend it at this time

Katie Makurat

This place is

confusing It’s a beautiful hotel, the rooms were clean and updated It felt like there was nobody there besides the house keeping (who were very friendly) My biggest complaint is that the elevator was broken during the duration of our stay (July 1-5) We were staying there for our destination wedding and had a lot of bags, boxes, etc and people coming to the room for hair/makeup When I asked the people at the front desk (when I could find them) about the elevator there seemed to not be any urgency to get it repairedThe front desk people were at times, hard to locate One of the front desk employees was very rude to one of my friends when my friend arrived to get ready for the wedding with me We were on the 3rd floor (when again, with no elevator got a little old) I don’t think I saw maybe more than one other patron of the hotel on the 3rd floor the whole time we stayed theremaybe people are opting to stay at other more highly rated hotelsOverall, a nice facility We got a drink at the restaurant and people were complimenting the food It just feltempty, cold, and non-inviting

Very clean Helpful and friendly staff There was a long and confusing walk in the snow to find our room, but when we did eventually find it, it was beautiful

Our room key didn’t work, so we had to have it replaced It still messed up after that, so that was the biggest downside, but we enjoyed our stay Would return for the view and activities!

Horrible – Look elsewhereDirectly booked a queen room 4 months in advance for $350/night The room was dank, dated, and dirty- Ratty chairs which you don’t ever want to sit on (see pic)- Horrible view from window of dumpsters and morning dump truck run (see pic)- Dirty towels from previous occupants left on bathroom door- No side table by the bed to put phone, glasses, clock, etc- No daily service even though the front desk said there was- No hotel hospitality, no ‘Thank You’ or ‘How was your stay’We asked to change our room for our 2nd night as upgraded balcony rooms were available and ‘on sale’ for less than what we paid on their website (I wasn’t looking for a refund, just a better room)

Desk person took our phone number; said he would check with the manager and get back to us for sure Heard nothing back Don’t let this hotel ruin your Jackson Hole vacation

Barbara Tamburello

We stayed for 2 nights Our room was large & comfortable Was nice to have a balcony, a large bathroom, table/chairs & refrigerator

The room and service here was very comfortable! Most properties aren’t resuming daily service yet but this property is; I was grateful for that Very friendly and helpful front desk Last, Julian, our bartender at the restaurant was very, very friendly and nice

We didn’t order any alcohol but he was just as happy serving us desert and making our time enjoyable He is truly exceptional! Don’t let any of these employees get away!

Andrew Chang

So when I came up to Jackson Hole in August 2009 with my Family, we stayed here and the whole resort was spectacular, nice staff, nice pool, nice accommodations and amazing setup, the loft room was nice because it had a fabulous view of the tram and the mountain and it was right next to the tram and the base itself In February 2020 right before COVID, me and my friends were on a school retreat and we stayed here again in another loft room, same view, same room setup and didn’t change a bitWhen I stayed here both times, the room I stayed in had a spiral staircase which kind of made me dizzy and gave me some headaches when walking up and down the stairs, but I really loved staying here and when I plan to go to Jackson Hole sometime in the future, this is the place to stay and when I do it will still be an amazing place to stay

We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Huff House! We were traveling with a toddler and it couldn’t have worked out better The rooms were spotless and the staff was extremely accommodating– they even let us keep some of the baby provisions in the fridge The breakfast was delicious and took the hassle out of having to go to a restaurant

We hadn’t planned to eat breakfast there every day but ended up loving it! They bake fresh cookies daily for an afternoon snack and we could walk to everything They also have a beautiful hot tub, pool, and fire pit out back We would recommend Huff House to anyone traveling to Jackson

Kim Spalding

Very nice accomdations Nice little touches like fresh baked cookies and flavored spa water every day Rooms very nicely furnished

Enjoyed our breakfasts both days I selected the special each day and my husband chose the classic each day Breakfast was served in the house which was very homey Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tubs because of rainy weather They also have a laundry area which was helpful as this was part of a longer trip for us Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay there again

Very good hospitality and a nice view at this well-located hotel just a couple miles north of Jackson on the road to the airport and the national park Front desk staff couldn’t be friendlier Rooms aren’t super modern, but they’re fine and are being rennovated

Good winter rates — compare the prices on their own website to the big online agencies I recommend the top floor rooms with the kitchenette A good value for more comfort and convenience and just a few dollars more

Liana Sega

The place was clean and well managed The location is very convenient Some of the furniture needs upgrading, as it shows signs of tear

The fridge, stove top and food storage area in the kitchenette were a bit too small for my needs, but it was nice to be able to do some cooking The view is pretty cool, but it comes with a busy highway and the accompanying noise, and I kept wishing that I could take the cars out of the view Overall, I was expecting a bit more for the amount of money that we spent, but, on a limited budget, it seems that in Jackson Hole one has to trade this expectation for the amazing outside adventures I did not resent the trade, as we did have a great time visiting the parks

Gail Henricks

It was nice to have free snacks available It was clean Convenient to have a gas station in walking distance to fill the car before returning the rental car

Rm 102 has difficulty getting the tubs hot water to turn to the hot position Couldn’t fill the tub due to the drain not sealing properly For the the lack of other amenities and price I feel I should be critical on this basic items

We had a hard time choosing a place to stay as we have never been to Jackson hole and there is a ton of choices I’m sure most places are a good choice however we had a great stay at the 49er They have an indoor pool and hot tub that we took advantage of

The room was nice and clean The breakfast was good and there was a large variety of choices I woke up early and was going to use the gym because I couldn’t sleep and had nothing else to do but it doesn’t open until 8 am unfortunately The hotel is centrally located and really close to everything in town There is plenty of places you can walk to as well This was a good stay

This is one of the wackiest hotels I’ve ever been too It is several buildings, unconnected The main building is quite nice and there is a good continental breakfast

The rooms are just strange as heck Firstly, the numbers in the different buildings are odd When you get to your room, the door opens directly into the bathroom Like, you open the door and you see the sink The room itself was large, but it had barely any lighting even with every light turned on There were 2 accessible outlets in the entire room, and for its size, it makes no sense that the bathroom is that small Keep in mind that only two of the buildings are actually wheel chair accessible, which means there aren’t elevators in the other buildings Have fun lugging a massive suitcase up those stairs The nice thing about this hotel is that it is only a block or so away from the town and the square Very walkable Just very, very odd

Went to take shower and there was no hot water – even after letting it run full hot for 10 min There were doors to outside on each side of room so people walking and talking on each side of your bed while trying to sleep Refrigerator did not keep my food very cold

My son asked if there was a designated smoking area and was told just not in rooms He was smoking in the parking lot when 2 staff came out and asked if he had a room Then he was going to go swimming when some girl sitting outside door called him names so he just left For the prices you charge I would expect more We stayed across town the night the night before for only $15 more and it was at least comfortable and quiet VERY sorry left to try your facility Left all this information with clerk at check out and never heard anything from anyone You had all my information from receipt Reading other reviews looks like you have a pat response to problems so I’m not expecting much else at this point

The rooms were clean The beds were comfy I think the best part of the room was the heated tile in the bathroom and vanity areas

But the best part of the hotel is their staff! I can’t say enough great things about them! Every interaction was friendly, helpful and what every hotel should strive for The shuttle drivers were informative about the area and pointed out different things that we could go and see They also gave information about the history of the area which was very interesting The staff at the front desk was so nice And all the staff that was there to clean, refresh the drinks and cookies, and just keep the place running were also very nice You can tell that this place has standards when it comes to customer service and I am so super thankful for that!

This is our second time at the Lexington It’s within walking distance to downtown and the Elk Refuge The rooms are spacious and clean

The hot tub was always clean Breakfast is typical for a hotel We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette The stove didn’t work but they had maintenance up to fix it within minutes Loved the staff and would stay again!!

Great rates during the off season Clean room with plenty of space Comfortable beds

Good cable TV and WiFi The rooms were pretty nice; probably a remodel in the last 5-10 years Breakfast was good and typical of free breakfast buffets The restaurant selection in the area was more limited than we expected, so the hotel breakfast was a big plus Great location within easy walking distance of town square

Best views of Grand Tetons around! Owners were very friendly and wonderful hosts We rented the two small cabins They were clean and exactly as described

The ground squirrel and magpie neighbors were an unexpected treat! We enjoyed mornings with the squirrel coming to sit by the porch and observe us as much as we observed her The cabins are rustic but clean The front cabin with the kitchen had a queen bed and plenty of outlets to recharge our electronics and phones The back cabin with the bathroom had a single bed and bunk beds The bottom bunk bed was big enough to sleep two and then a single on top The shower had awesome water pressure and two shower heads front and behind to fully soak you We have AT&T cell service and had decent service but there is also wifi The cabins were perfect for our group of 4 and our 4 nights here We did not want to be in touristy hotels or resorts and love patronizing local businesses when we can Jackson only about 15 minutes away if you need something from town The log furniture is made by the owners and added to the rustic feel and ambiance No tv but we didn’t miss it and needed to unplug Who needs tv with that VIEW!? The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet at night We had a wonderful experience We really enjoyed our stay here Would stay at these cabins again in a heartbeat!

We were fortunate to find this place at the very last minute on a trip through Jackson in August when every hotel room in the city was booked up The Owners were great and the cabins have been in their family for many, many decades so they take great pride in themThe morning views overlooking the Tetons are spectacular and you’re only a short distance from the famous T

A Moulton Barn, one of the most photographed barns in the US You can quickly swing by for some photos on your way into Grand Teton National ParkThe Cabins were rustic, clean, and very affordable for the amount of people they sleep

Joe Stone

Comfortable and cozy cabins with spectacular views of the Tetons It had all the amenities – full kitchen with dishes and cookware, hand made beds, full size washer and dryer (with soap), and even has WiFi! I discovered the wifi on the day we left

Overall it was a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near Jackson, WY and not wanting to be in the thick of of all the hustle and bustle in town

It was an interesting experience We didn’t stay at the resort So this review is for the spa

We sat in the lobby for a bit and was greeted by the therapists who escort us to the big therapy room with a soaking tub In my experience, the first stop would be the locker room so we can undressed, get into our robes and sandals Then, we can proceed with the services Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here at this spa For such a nice therapy room our clothes were all over the couch because we weren’t escorted to the locker room (yes there is a locker room) Since my fiancé and I had to split up after our soak I had to leave the room (in the provided robe, which was very soft, and no slippers) The massage was fine, nothing to write home about Once I was done I, once again, I barefooted through the spa back to the big therapy room to put on my clothes For my fiancé, he said his therapist was all over the place Ultimately, it was not worth the $600 tab as we had better experiences at other spas

The location is great, walking distance to the heart of downtown with lots of shops and restaurants of every kind The lodging was excellent, even with a small room, it didn’t feel small given the other shared spaces to enjoy like the dinning area, the covered patio, grassy area and more Lots of room to find a place to sit and visit both indoors and outdoors

The breakfast was tailored to each person and generous The coffee was excellent The customer service was top notch and responsive to any requests We will definitely come back

Susan Forbes

Charming B&B feel to the place, gorgeous gardens, nice staff but the room was just not as we’d hoped It was dark and had a crummy view of the roof of the business next door While it did have an air conditioning unit, it was so loud it was hard to sleep

I mean really loud I expected it to conk out at any minute We only stayed one night, so we didn’t ask for a new room The bed was comfy though and the tub was a treat Breakfast was made to order All in all, in a town where a king room at a mid-range hotel chain costs $500, I think it’s probably a decent value at $415 I’m still giving them 4 stars for keeping up the good fight in very difficult times I hear they’re going to do a remodel and that’s great I probably won’t be able to afford it after that 😀

Kevin Kline

Fairly unimpressed, especially for the cost (yeah, everything in Jackson is expensive) Staff were very friendly and helpful, the lobby was very nice and cozy, and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch Location was as good as it gets in a very walkable town like Jackson, which is good because there isn’t much parking here

The room was basic and aside from a fridge had everything I could have needed, but wasn’t that nice Bedding wasn’t very good but clean, mattress was fairly uncomfortable, the heater looked like it was from the 1980s and was fairly dusty when running, walls could have used new paint or even just a good solid cleaning as they were visibly dirty

Great location being seconds away from the ski lift as it is a resort hotel Got a nice upgrade when checking in which was a welcome supply Little pricey but that is expected during the peak season

Rooms were clean and service was great as provided daily Adequate supply of restaurant choices around the hotel Highly recommended and will definitely stay again

J Levy

Love it Convenience and kindness of staff couldn’t be better Rooms are a bit pricey (high season) but super comfy, well stocked and perfectly furnished

I love the boot warmers in the room and the Murphy bed is super comfy Right in the heart of all the action in Jackson Hole mountain resort but still quiet and peaceful in the room Tonight we will dine in the restaurant but the food looks amazing and smells delicious The hostess last night was super accommodating and tried to accommodate us as best she could even though they were fully booked Greetings when we arrived early couldn’t have been better – we didn’t expect our room but they had one available and as such were happy to accommodate This place is truly a gem!

Joshua Lippiner

Wonderful experience Beautiful hotel right in the village Noelie the concierge was wonderful and extremely helpful

Definitely recommend upgrading to a one bedroom suite if going with the family Only issue is the hot tub Very unusual for a ski resort to not allow those under 18 to use the hot tub The location is also a bit tricky as it’s not directly near the lifts so requires a bit of walking Other than that definitely would recommend and would stay again

Short walk from town square but still quiet Great price Only open part of the year, so check before you go

I forgot to mention, they had the best smelling bed linens I’ve encountered in a hotel That may sound strange, but usually hotel bed linens smell like bleach and are very starchy Golden Eagle had very soft, pleasant smelling linens Definitely added another level to a relaxing restful stayThey also have larger fridges, at least in the double queen I stayed in That’s definitely a plus for longer staysDefinitely will stay here again!

Marci Krause

The Golden Eagle Inn has been a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it The rooms are clean and have a microwave and nice size refrigerator The location is close and convenient to downtown

The manager is one of the best people I have ever encountered She was very accommodating and helpful I highly recommend the Golden Eagle!

Piggo Vision

Only stayed here for one night but it was very pleasant Lady at check in was very nice and helpful and the room was neat and tidyWe got stuck in Gardiner when the roads got washed out from heavy rain in yellowstone and couldn’t make our other reservation here, even though we called on the day we were supposed to check in to cancel they didn’t charge us for it

Thank you Golden eagle inn
