Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms are great Our room was very clean and large, and the bed was incredibly comfortable The complimentary breakfast in the morning is okay, nothing amazing but definitely not bad and the fact that it’s included is nice

I would definitely stay here again I don’t have a single complaint

This should be the flagship for the brand The room I had this year was so nicely arranged – a sitting area with a small sectional, a half wall divider between it and the 2 queens There is a closet, luggage bench, desk, as well as a coffee nook with a fridge

It is located next to Hartville Kitchen, and 2 buildings from the Hartville Hardware store Which is, by the way, worth a visit! Anything you could want, it there Including a model house! So definitely will be back

Very disappointed The staff was not friendly, the guy at the desk was rude when I asked about the $50 fee that was charged to my card that I was unaware of when booking [Front desk never said anything and it was my first time staying here]

The beds were so hard, I didn’t sleep the 2 nights I stayed It felt like I was sleeping on a wooden board The couch was more comfortable than the bed and thats where I slept The lights were so dim we couldn’t see much to get ready There was no soap in the bathroom when arriving, so I had to go down to the front and ask No bags in the trash cans The TV in the living room of the suite wouldn’t pick up reception for the channels, only one channel worked and wasn’t fuzzy Drinks were over priced and the vending machines were only ice machines For what we paid for the room, I could have went somewhere actually enjoyable We won’t be back

Dawn T

The ONLY thing that saved this rating is the location and the staff The hotel is in DESPERATE need of renovation It’s very brown

Very 90s The microwave in our room looked like one of the first microwaves ever made The beds were uncomfortable, but the view was amazing There’s even a special deck that overlooks the falls that is just for guests I’m glad we stayed here, but wouldn’t return unless they decided to upgrade But this place was super busy, so chances are, they won’t be updating any time soon It definitely was not worth the price paid, in my opinion

Jack Moyle

The staff at the Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls was amazing! The hotel itself was great, and the location is top notch While eating at the restaurant, you get a great view Cuyahoga River – it feels like you are on top of the waterfalls The proximity to restaurants and shops is first class

There are multiple shops within a quarter-mile of the hotel Highly recommend

Fairly good location and very close to belden village if you are there for shopping or for the airport or the Hall of fame Lot of road construction going on north of there which makes it not as convenient for events in Akron or cleveland Room was very clean

Bed comfortable Water pressure very good Microwave and refrigerator Adequate TV with channel selections Good toiletries and towels Breakfast was just average with the usual eggs sausage some yogurt Could have used a little more fruit and non packaged bakery items The biggest complaint is the room temperature When the AC was running things were pretty cold but when it stopped they seemed to get warm in a hurry A little quieter than most hotels of this ilk I would definitely stay there again

Suzanne Maple

As a Marriot Bonvoy Member, I am not super impressed with this hotel We arrived at 11:30pm and there were noises all over the place We could hear all of our neighbors and didn’t get to sleep until about 4am

And then right at 6am, they started packing and all you heard was the banging of drawersOn top of this, the water flow was super slow and there was only super hot or ice cold Not much for a shower And our room thermostat was broken, so we slept in a tundra until it magically started working around 7amFood was alright except the hard boiled eggs turned out to be bad unfortunatelyI do want to mention though that the service was super nice and they did try to fix the issues, but they could not fix the noisey neighbors and that is really no fault of theirsPlease be cautious when staying Bring noise cancelling headphones and your own food

We used the hotel for our wedding ceremony and reception and everything was wonderful I worked with Mary and Brittany for planning, and they were very responsive and had everything running smoothly the day of I appreciated that they hosted a group event for tasting the food options, so we got to try a lot of different dishes before picking the final menu

They also went the extra mile to print out detailed menu signs for the dinner so that all allergens were clearly listed for those guests with dietary restrictions The hotel rooms are also nice and having a block of rooms already reserved was great for our guests I am so glad we chose the hotel for our wedding venue!

Adrian Kerrigan

Great location Indoor pool is very small and didn’t look clean Rooms adequate with nice size fridge and microwave

Was fairly quiet when we stayed on a weekend, except for the elephant stomping around upstairs My sister (in a different room) and husband both complained about the pillows (too big/thick/poofy) Might want to bring your own We hung out on the 2nd floor terrace a lot as a family and brought our own drinks, that was very nice Nice bar in lobby area Need to pay for parking and breakfast which is a bummer for the price of the room The staff at the front desk were not overly friendly One time when I went to the desk, two of the workers were openly complaining about guests not listening to them about items they will be charged for during the check in process I found that unprofessional Other than that, all good Nice place for a big group to come together for a weekend in Kent

I saw a couple of reviews somewhere that emphasized mean staff We interacted with four different front desk staff, including the night auditor when we finally got there at 2 AM because of a delayed flight, and they all were very nice The location is great for Kent State and NEOMED

The hotel seems new and all the surfaces were nice The breakfast was great and included some hot items There were even fresh baked cookies at the front desk in the afternoon

Samantha Owens

Decided to come stay at the Holiday inn after a 17 hour drive with our family The guy at the front desk who didn’t have the common courtesy to give his name Not only did he not want to show me a room due to my allergies, he told me to go to the Hampton Inn because he didn’t have time for this

After I left, I tried to call to get his name and he out me on hold for several minutes and did not return to the call

At check-in I was greeted warmly and it was a fast and easy experience The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The pool was 86 degrees and 3-5 ft which was perfect to relax in

The breakfast was better than typical so I highly recommend starting here The attendant working the food area was extraordinary and she deserves high praise

karen fridley

The staff is extremely polite and professional We found the room clean The indoor pool exceeded our expectationsThe breakfast is not the usual breakfast, they have a variety of food to select from

We will definitely stay there again

Gregg Robinson

Our room was very dated The carpeting in the middle of the living area floor was thread bare The air-conditioner was so noisy that it woke us up every time the compresser started

Sounded like a bad bearing The valve in the bath tub that starts the shower was so crusty was hard water residue, that it was hard to use We’ll never use this hotel again The staff were friendly and helpful

I am not picky, and I don’t expect much But I was let down several times during my stay Before I jump into the specifics, all of the people who work there are great

Despite what went wrong, they were very apologetic and extremely niceFirst, a fire alarm woke us up at 3am, which isn’t the hotel’s fault But they couldn’t figure out how to reset it So we couldn’t get back to sleep until 4:30amSecond, our “vegan” meal that the hotel provided for the event they hosted was completely lackluster We had a plain spinach salad (zero toppings!), and rotini pasta and zucchini (no sauce!) for the main mealFinally, the locking mechanism for our hotel door stopped working It wouldn’t read our keycard, so the concierge had to come up and let us in, using his master keyI wish I could recommend this hotel because the staff are great But the hotel itself is riddled with too many problems to get my endorsement 1 star

Rich Meek

The toilet in the bathroom would not flush properly and the room phone didn’t work I had to use my cell phone to call the desk I called 2 times the day that it happened

The next day I had to go to the public bathroom to use the that toilet I was told that maintenance would be in at 7am but he didn’t come until 7:30 I found that out because I had to call the desk again I was told that he would be right up, room 282, at 8am he is still not here ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF URGENCY!!!!

Kenneth Peachey

So very unhappy First the website said that the hotel was pet friendly, but when we got there they said absolutely no pets Second, I went the where the vending machines were at to find out that they don’t have any

Half the ice machines were broken Then there is the room, I at least get a mini fridge and a microwave at a motel 6 I will not be staying there again

Downtown Akron’s Courtyard Marriott is the absolute best To start, Sheryl in management was amazing to work with So helpful and polite in helping me block rooms for our guests

We had a ton of rooms reserved for our big day and everything went so smoothly Hotel staff were very helpful with handing out welcome bags Location was excellent My guests raved about the Speakeasy, outdoor patio, and proximity to Akron staple Luigi’s Very clean rooms We stayed in a suite and it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in Use this hotel for your Akron wedding or a weekend getaway So glad we did!!

Shane Randall

Cool location with Food and drinking options walking distance Rooms were top notch stand up shower could easily accommodate 2 people or even 3 if that’s your thing Breakfast cost is extra but decent menue

Staff is friendly Parking is a 3 out of 5 but you shouldn’t have issues finding it just prepare to walk a little bit Overall I would stay again considering the options if I work close by again

Stephanie Bohnak

This hotel is beautiful It is a wow factor I am originally from the Akron area and am a graduate student in NW Ohio

For an academic conference, several of us came down and stayed at this location I heard nothing but praise among my fellow scholars and I must agree with them The rooms are up to date, clean, and beautiful Each room seems to have everything you could ever need and the bed was incredibly comfortable The Northside Speakeasy which is located in the hotel has wonderful cocktails and attentive staff They pull out all the stops for their guests and I highly recommend the Grasshopper if you like chocolate and mint My significant other joined me and had a lavender cocktail that was amazing! The hotel is located close to Lock15 where several scholars went for dinner as well as Luigi’s which is an Akron staple! I would highly recommend this hotel for business and couples!

I was waiting to write a review because I have never had to write a review about a hotel living in one

for a month So I won’t do pros or cons Everyone is pretty nice there is some judgment but that’s life I am currently being kicked out My kids and I due to complaints from I assume other whiter or lighter guest My kids run from strangers because they don’t trust them Due to what we have been through To think I used to have a 3 bedroom double wide Now this is my realityour reality An I’m a nurse it is hard on everyone right now Kindness though only goes so far it seems Do you have anyone? Such a small question Yet a huge one when your trying to get stable again I am leaving this hotel with a great deal of questions A great deal of frustrationSo about the rooms Rooms are clean they do a great job breakfast is pretty great My room that we have been in 417 has water stains on the ceiling but nothing ever leaked This is not a bad place to stay Expensive but not a bad place to stay just becareful that not everyone who smiles in your face is your actual friend or on your side Should have known that though right?

First and foremost I want to recognize the staff Scott and DJ for being accommodating and very friendly Unfortunately this was the only good thing about our very short stay hereUpon arrival everything seemed clean and well-kept, but there had been a power outage the night before and the key card machine was not working, meaning we had to be escorted to our rooms each time we entered

The gym was also locked and I had to be escorted there Inside there was zero air circulation and it felt like a sauna inside I didn’t personally mind it for a 30-minute workout but it seemed unsafe long-termWhen I returned from the gym we decided to check the room for bed bugs, which I usually do as a precaution Unfortunately we found a bug that seemed to be a bed bugWe immediately told the manager Scott and he was extremely apologetic, which was nice but we decided to leave anyhowI will reiterate here that the staff were friendly, professional, and met all of our requests Unfortunately the facilities just did not meet our standards

Bryan Wright

The staff was fantastic and friendly The breakfast was good They had a lot of options and the warm cinnamon buns were amazing

The room was dirty The chair in the room had visible stains and was so gross that my arms actually would stick to the chair when I sat The bed skirt had gross stains on it The building was not very sound proof There were several guys above us having a good time, which is okay with me, but it lasted into 2am and at times we could actually hear their conversation Needless to say we didn’t get much rest

David Miller

The staff was friendly & welcoming, with smiles on their face! The room was very nice & the bed very comfy! I got a good night’s sleep! There wasn’t any 110 receptacles near the bed though I had to move a lamp over onto the night stand so I could plug my phone in while using itI’ve run into this situation before at a few Holiday Inns

I stay in 12 diff Holiday Inns a monthThis one had a hot breakfast with plenty of bacon!I drive a box truck There was plenty of parking for it

It was a very clean and courteous hotel and checking was a breeze I was able to check in A-day early from my phone and was given the option to skip the counter and use my phone to open my door but that was unavailable when I got there The eggs that come with the continental breakfast could use a lot of work but I guess they’re the same at every hotel

Other than that, the stay was amazing and there were 18 rooms rented to us and our friends

Née Née

The attendants were nice but very poorly dressed Not a professional look at all They were wearing regular street clothes and just looked like the next person off the street could jump behind the counter and start working

The breakfast area was nice, neat and clean I experienced a few problems however, that I wont get into largely Just make sure you check your account and aren’t billed twice Make sure you have the room you requested And make sure everything works in the room

annette brent

One is only for the staff but overall a hotel nightmare Let’s begin NO POOL hotel had dings in door & wall bathroom was dirty bed linen was itchy had to endure guest above me running and throwing furniture called receptionist 5 times but I felt so bad she didn’t have any help alone having to deal with everything Breakfast didn’t look that appealing eggs looked runny and sausage looked freezer burnt took muffins to go They weren’t good at all moving forward I won’t make that mistake

Overall I wasn’t too bad, but for what we paid it was not up to par Renovated to try to patch over an old building it seemed like Shiplap paneling on the ceiling was falling in

Faucet was loose and damaged They had hand soap, shampoo and body soap dispensers in the bathroom but they had nothing in them They had plastic parts inside of them that were in plastic packaging so I’m assuming they’ve never been set up They did not provide some on the sink per usual so had to ask the front desk and let them know Tough to do mid shower though Staff was great Cute little bar restaurant inside Food was good

Tom Pabin

My stay at the Aurora Inn was fantastic! My suite was very comfortable and spaciousWe were in town for work, and we had the opportunity for our team to have dinner together in the Six Horse Tavern Perfect spot for us to gather

Everything was perfectly fine Nothing really to say Although, the pillows were not too soft!!!! I hate too soft pillows

Oh!!!! and the AC unit was not too loud It didn’t run all night long like most hotels It only woke me up a few times AND, the shower water pressure was very nice! I hate having to spit in the air just to get a shower Not at your place!!! The water pressure was very nice! Damnit, now that I think about it, your place was fabulously fine! Pass it on!!!

My fiancé had booked a room online to check-in on 7/22 and to check out 07/24, and paid in cash for 2 two nights We had received a call after one night of stay with a voicemail that we booked for one night and had been checked out and needed to get our things out of the room We called back and kept getting told we booked for night and were asked to show proof of invoice

As we left the family function we came in town for, we realized we had been charged again for that one night when we had already been charged for the 2 nights in April It was the most unbelievable and frustrating experience to be locked out of our room Have to leave in the middle of a family event Have to take a stand that we were not leaving as we had paid Then get double charged and have to show proof of our receipt that should already be available in the system We were also told to email proof to the Joe the Assistant General manager Whom we expected a call apologizing for how things were initially handled after been told a couple of times the hotel was full and we had to check out We were rebooked and the additional fee removed Which we were glad off not sure about any future stays at the Hampton I have a 2 because the staff were nice This kitchen staff very helpful and our first check in and correct check out day was pleasant

It was such a warm and welcoming experience at Berrodin Bed & Breakfast The home was comfortable, super clean, quiet and convenient Louie was such a gracious and accommodating host, and we lacked for nothing

Louie is such a kind and gracious man, he made us feel like we’ve known each other for years even though this was our first visit ever I recommend travelers stay here over any other accommodations in the area Thank you Louie, for such an awesome stay!

Phil Seguin

Louie was great Excellent communication and very accommodating I stayed while riding the Ohio to Erie Trail

Louie met me at check in with a Gatorade and a safe place to store my bike He gave me a thorough tour of the Bed and Breakfast and its amenities The rooms were all very clean and comfortable Louie offered great suggestions for dinner and local entertainment and even offered to give me a ride to dinner

Me Myself

We booked our room at Louie’s bed and breakfast on very short notice Louie was a most gracioushost who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable The room was spotlessly clean and there were chocolates and mints for us to enjoy

The B&B is located on a lovely residential street in the center of a picturesque neighborhood Excellent restaurants, Walmart, a movie theater, and a health food store are all in walking distance My son and I had dinner at the “Mustard Seed” and were duly impressed! They offered excellent food, live music and a great atmosphere! As breakfast is included in the more than reasonable price, Louie invited us to help ourselves to hot drinks and a continental breakfast in the morning (I have never seen a more modern kitchen in my life!) In the evening he invited us to hang out in the living room and watch a movie He took time to chat and make sure we had everything we neededShould we ever come to Akron again, we will certainly stay at the Berrodin B&B! Thanks Louie!
