The staff was very friendly and helpful The first room we got was absolutely gross, but we were quickly given another one that was much better The breakfast options were great, get there early to get the best choices

The location is good you can see the amusement park from the parking lot The pool looked a little risky Overall a pretty good value choice stay

My wife and I stayed here on June 20-21 after a long day at Carowinds & Carolina Harbor We checked in late (10pm) and the front desk staff was very friendly and professional We have stayed here many times before and love the location, staff, accommodations and complimentary hot breakfast

This stay was a little different – however things were handled very well by the staff My wife noticed the tub was not draining fast when taking a shower I went downstairs to the front desk and let the lady know about the problem She originally stated it’ll have to be looked at by maintenance in the morning but also offered to look at it herself (even if it was 10:30 at night!) I agreed to let her look at it and she was very adamant about getting it resolved After some pulling and tugging, she got assistance from another coworker who was able to successfully unclog the drain (LOTS OF HAIR)…and they cleaned the tub out well with disinfectant After they left, the shower drained as it should This was impressive customer service and why we will continue to come to this hotel when visiting Carowinds Great job Comfort Inn At the Park staff!!

The Pink Room

Currently still here but I had to leave a review on Johnathan the receptionist because he was amazing and very informative I hope he is being paid well here He greeted me so nicely and made me feel welcomed which is significant because I’ve visited a few hotels this weekend and none of them were exceptional as he was

Definitely wish I came here to begin with ! Thank you Johnathan keep up the great work

The two weeks that we have spent at this hotel have been absolutely phenomenal! The pool outdoors is heated and the fire pit that is outside as well is cozy and you’re able to operate it whenever you want to use it They even have outdoor grills for you to use if you wish to The endless supply of hot water in the shower was wonderful, and the size, cleanliness and Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner and body wash were fantastic!Morgan kept us in clean towels, clean sheets, and whatever else that we needed the entire time! She was wonderful to run into everyday and always had polite conversation and smiles! The suites here are great

The kitchen had plenty of room in it and were stocked with everything but the food! You even have your own tiny dishwasher All of the other hotel staff that we ran into have been polite and friendly as well, but Morgan really went the extra mile I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for an wonderful experience!

Courtney Edwards

I had a marvelous stay The staff was accommodating as well as super helpful I was there for training and we left the first week and the front desk guy held on to our food items for us and labeled them and when we got back returned them

Also, the cleaning staff did a wonderful job cleaning my room I would recommend this place to anybody It was wonderful I forgot to get his name

The Short Review: We stayed at this hotel because of the amazing reviews, but unfortunately, it was not a good stay and we won’t be returning I would only recommend this hotel if you enjoy firm beds If you don’t, please save your back because the beds are HARD

The More Detailed Review: As I said earlier, we chose this hotel because of the amazing reviews and I should also mention, location Getting to this hotel was very easy and the best part is the hotel is very close to lots of things in Charlotte, especially downtown, without being in the hustle and bustle Check in went fine and our room was ready upon arrival The room was exactly what we requested We went to an event and didn’t get back to the room until late and that’s when we discovered how hard the bed was It was so bad that I could barely sleep and woke up with a sore lower back Because it was late and we were only staying one night, I decided to tough it out In the morning, we went down to the breakfast The breakfast provided was OK They mainly had coffee, juices, fruits, cereal and biscuits For it to be free, I thought it was pretty good When we went back to the room, I discovered hair in the shower and that the iron didn’t work Since we were checking out, there wasn’t really much we could do but I did speak to the woman at check out I asked her about the beds and she said that’s how they’re supposed to be I’ve stayed with various Marriott brands over the years with family and never had a bed like this I also let her know about the iron Overall, the pros of this hotel are the location, plenty of parking and the hotel was very quiet If the bed had been better, I would give it another chance, but sadly, I won’t be returning

I absolutely love this place I stayed two weekends in a row! The first weekend I was extremely upset because I took my children to swim for the weekend and they were unable to do so because some kids bullying my son! Melissa came down personally to make sure my son was okay But MSLILLIE IS OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!!! She comforted my son and make him feel so much better and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed

It was only because of her that we came back for my son’s birthday on 4/16 our stay was way better this time around and we were looking forward to seeing her smile at breakfast! She is absolutely amazing and she definitely saved me as a customer because before her I didn’t want to stay there ever again!!!!! She is definitely and asset to the quality inn brand! We love MsLillie ❤️❤️❤️

Susan Nelson

Great price for the location to go to Carowinds The pool is alright, not very spacious but it was enough to satisfy the children We got the room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa, it was the most spacious room we’ve had for that combination in the last few years of taking vacations with the kids

Breakfast has a great variety!

Our room had comfortable/stylish furniture The bed was comfortable and clean The hotel offers various free streaming options on a large LG tv in each room

The bathroom was spacious and immaculateLoved that his place was dog friendly! So difficult to find a clean and comfortable hotel that is dog friendly with out being expensiveThe breakfast was a little lack luster, but was fineWe will definitely stay here again on our way to or from Florida

Kurt Thaxton

First and foremost I want to say the rooms are very nice That being said, the service at this hotel is horrible! The staff is almost never available at the front desk I am referring specifically to the morning staff

The evening staff is better at being present and available for their guests I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel until Marriott takes a serious look at the customer service level of their front desk staff at this location

Shalagh Hunter

Rooms were a very good size for a family of 5 We were able to set up a playpen in the room as well with no issues Beds were comfortable enough

Complimentary breakfast was decent Bathroom could’ve been cleaned better Could hear some road traffic, but worst of all the room next to us had a party until like 2am Had to call the front desk and I know several other rooms called as well because I heard them knock at least 3x to ask them to settle down I just don’t feel like this should’ve been stretched over like 3 hours I had a horrible night’s rest with a long ride home in the morning

Such a friendly staff! Room was amazing with big fridge, and stocked kitchenette VERY comfortable king bed Great TV and remote

Very clean I wish I could have stayed longer! Hotel was sold out but I did not heard much noise at all Convenient ice machine as well as the ability to make ice in the room if you have the time Would have been nice to have a soda machine on the floor but there was a nice selection on the first floor I did not have time for the continental breakfast so I cannot comment on that Great price for the amazing room!

Eric Barbour

The service by the staff was fine But the continental breakfast was just kinda of Meh This might seem a little picky but if you are competing with outer hotels then I would expect more

The self checkout store is a good idea but the scanner did not recognize a few items so they lost some coin The rooms were clean and nice The location was easy to find The staff was nice and attentive

Maj3st1k

Fantastic Hilton chain I can’t rave about them more than I already do on other reviews Very consistent throughout the U

S as far as quality, service, and cleanlinessThis location has a decent size parking lot for the lot Everytime I’ve stayed here they have been able to accommodate my F250, and 20ft flatbedHighly recommend this hotel chain

Quality hotel, with a few small place to improve The entire hotel is relatively new, and you can tell with the excellent rooms Plenty of space to stretch out

Chromecast in every room is a nice touch Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great though Also, due to the angle of the hotel, inside rooms stare directly into other hotel rooms I do like the location, it’s close to restaurants, shops, and a park Unfortunately, this can make street parking difficult, and the parking policy wasn’t clear on website (it’s paid parking everyday, even if it’s not valet)

Leigh Ann Bailey

Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, and breakfast was good Great location for South End However, if you want to sleep this is not the place, muscle cars were racing outside of our window much of the night, partiers coming in at 3:00am, loud and laughing

I’m exhausted Perhaps it would be better if you requested an inside room This was a Sat night

I love this extended stay! It has treated me better than any Hilton has Excellent customer service from the time you enter I had no issue finding my way around

I was getting FRESH, CLEAN, towels and wash cloths without having to ask twice The linens on the bed smelled super refreshed which is A1 for me and my room, kitchenette and bathroom made me feel at home! 10/10 recommend!

Kelly Metcalf

I travel for work and have stayed at several extended stays This is one of the better ones, friendly helpful staff The staff is always going out of their way to assist in any issues I have even going so far as to help me chase down my puppy who had escaped the car when I was not looking

Rooms are large, spacious, and clean Great location with any amenity you could think of within a five minute drive

C Dun

So pool wasnt open Even though there wasn’t anything wrong with it When I 1st walked into the hotel they didn’t have my room ready The room they did get ready was halfway cleaned I’m pretty sure there was blood on the couch

Plus the staff acts like they’re scared of Order distrust black people, when most of their customers are black people How does that even work? The service here is not only lacking but also inconvenient ended up leaving early You can hear people walking above you loudly you loudly so sleep is out of the question I’m going to be honest with you I absolutely hated it here

My friend and I rented a log cabin for one night so that we can take our kids to Carowinds for 2 days The resort provided the park tickets along with shuttle service to and from the parks throughout our stay The staff were very helpful and friendly

The shuttle driver was also informative and friendly The cabin was super cute and all 7 of us slept well, 2 adults,1 kid and 4 teenagers We will definitely be returning here next year

Sarah Flatt

Loved our stay! They sell “length of stay” tickets to the park which are perfect! It allowed us to go to go back and forth every day to eat healthier foods and enjoy some down time when it was hot! There is a Tram that takes you from the campground to the entrance of the park and the people that work the desk and drive the Tram are so nice! Especially Mr Steve! He was our family favorite 🙂

Ash C

Love staying here! We are season pass holders but live an hour away Sometimes it’s nice to stay in the rv park because we can break up the day and take more rest breaks The shuttle is very convenient and the drivers are always nice

Sites are big and most are shaded Office staff is always friendly and easy to work with for date or site changes This is one of our favorite campgrounds I wish the laundry and pool stayed open later Haven’t been able to night swim here🥲

This was our 1st trip to Charlotte, it was a stop over on a longer trip Being a long time Hilton Honors member I chose this hotel due to its location very close to interstate The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, & efficient in reassigning a room to us when the one I had chosen was no longer available

The happy hour offerings were great, the common area and bar area were clean and comfortable We ordered a meal at the bar & it was great as well, and again the staff were friendly & efficient Our room was clean and comfortable The complementary breakfast the next day was the best we have had at any Hilton We enjoyed our 1 night stay so much that we booked another night for our return trip home

Joe Smith

Summary: Excellent service, charming rooms that have character, beautiful open center balcony layout It felt grand and I truly enjoyed myselfI spent the better part of last year in one hotel or another and this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had

From the moment I walked in to the moment I was walking out the door I felt valued and important to every staff member I interacted with Breakfast was amazingRoom for improvement: coffee could have been a little better Other than that a+ and I will recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area

We used to really enjoy staying at Embassy Suites but this was the latest in a string of disappointments First of all this property is really showing its age The refrigerator had mildew stains

Paint needed to be touched up in several places in the room The door was marred – probably where a mirror had been removed The water did not get hot in the showerThe breakfast service is one of the benefits of staying there but it was lacking I asked for fried eggs at the breakfast station, and the cook scrambled them and said – ” here are your fried eggs” There were two cooks The man behind me asked for the same thing and got fried eggs, so I guess it was just the one who helped me who was unfamiliar with fried eggs There were items like grits and biscuits at the cook to order station that were not available at the hot buffet but you would not know it if you didn’t see it Usually they have hot oatmeal too, but this one did notThe biggest problem however was customer service at the front desk Our room only had towels for three and there were four of us so I called down to ask for a set for myself Surprisingly they said they’d bring it up By the time they brought it up I had found a housekeeper to give me a set, showered, done my hair, gotten dressed and left for the day Before we left my husband called down and asked if our room could be serviced and was told yes When we came back several hours later nothing had been done He called down and was told that they could only take the trash and refresh the towels but she couldn’t guarantee that When he asked to speak to a manager who could guarantee that, the lady hung up on him He went down to the front desk and asked her why she hung up on him and she said, “I was busy” Then her coworker asked “what’s his problem?” and she responds by saying our room number really slowly as if we had been bothering them all day We hadn’t The manager confirmed that and apologized for the behavior of the other employees and offered us points That’s nice, but in our past experiences the points never show up and they want to argue with you if you call and ask about it It’s just not worth it Not giving up on all Hilton properties, but we are done with Embassy Suites

I have NEVER stayed in a hotel where someone really puts in so much help and kindness Hes always working to make your stay better

Trixie Mac

The hotels appearance is appealing, the staff was pleasant & helpful The area is plentiful with restaurants, shopping etcWe stayed 3 days total, booking was easy through the hotels website, FYI if you want a better rate book online it is cheaper than booking at the hotel

The hotel was very clean, although the bathroom mirror was dirty & there was popcorn butter in the microwave (not bad but it was there in a cleaned room) the only thing I could point out to housekeeping is clean the glass on the pictures they were dirty Other than that it was a very pleasant stay

Jen

I checked out of the hotel 2 days early and instead of being refunded they charged my card The manager, Sharad, tried to tell me it didn’t charge my card when it clearly did Then he told me it was an authorization charge

After letting him know I wanted a refund asap he finally done it Although it took about 20 minutes Clearly trying to rip people offEvery night I had been going down to the front desk to get towels since we were there for 5 days On the 4th night the clerk informed me that towels had to be brought down before she could give me anymore Even tho I stood right behind a women who was given towels and told to put her old towels out by the door to be picked up by the maids in the morningThe pool was dirty The bathroom floor was dirty The elevator smelled like a dog The breakfast wasn’t good Only cereal, waffles & bagels

Stayed for almost a week while visiting family It was ok but minimal services Room was clean when we arrived but no daily housekeeping

Asked for extra pillows and was told they didn’t have any, two different days The pool was awesome though The water was so warm which was wonderful Kids loved it The gym was nice too Coffee in lobby was good but no real food Has a small selection of frozen/fridge food but nothing for breakfast Should at least sell frozen breakfast sandwiches or cereal charged $2 for one tide pod Real Hilton? I by 80 for $20 Way to gouge your customers on something so trivial Overall nice hotel that is very reasonably priced

This place is OK There is some room for improvement We booked a room for six people

The check in time was 3pm We arrived at around 10pm and the room wasn’t ready I mean two beds for 4 people were ready and pull out sofa wasn’t, there was no extra pillows, clean sheets, blankets available in the closet I called front desk twice to ask for bedding for pull out sofa—no answer I called housekeeping twice- no answer I walked downstairs to the front desk myself and requested missing items They told me that it’s supposed to be in the closet but it wasn’t This place could definitely use better management Breakfast was nice— for that I’m grateful to them The lady that was serving breakfast was friendly and made sure that tables are properly cleaned and entire breakfast area is tidy Even tho it was very busy

No complaints! My room was very clean Air conditioning was working great Front desk agent was super helpful, polite and very friendly

This location is right off I-485 near everything you need Pool and full breakfast And the best perkAFFORDABLE!No noise from outside was super nice

Chrissi Blondetanílla

I chose this place because of the reviews of it being clean

and it was for the MOST part There were two roaches that appeared one in the bathroom and one that must have come up through the drain on the little kitchen sink island My room was fairly clean The staff was really niceThe bathroom was REALLY a tight area But other than that everything worked, hallways were clean, and the area where the hotel sits is nice Close to everything I could walk to shopsThis is my honest review

Gotta give 5 stars to the service I received from Cali at the Hampton here in Charlotte! I travel a lot nowadays and Cali provided some amazing service Staying here on a business trip and was greeted by one of the brightest smiles I’ve seen all day Cali was a big help and getting me situated with my mom

Checking in with super easy with her helpThis Hampton location is conveniently located off of one of the main highways It’s a little far outside of the downtown area so it’s fairly quiet around it I didn’t find that it had much walkable stuff around but I did arrive to my room at 10 o’clock at night The hotel was quiet where there weren’t many guests and loud people around The room was clean This is not one of the newer locations that are updated so things are a little old but it’s clean and tidy The decor is that oldies 2010 decor – you can tell the hotel is in need of some RenoFive stars for the amazing service I received from Cali

Stayed this past weekend and Room was nice Breakfast was good Fred and Darrell were amazing and very welcoming

Even the security guy was nice My biggest issue is the day I was leaving I was trying to get a towel and wash cloth for over an hour and was finally told they do not provide those to guest that’s leaving , I’ve never heard of that before and even though all of the used towels and rags was in the hall they wouldn’t provide one set And it’s sad it took over an hour to find that out

The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable It’s nice to have a breakfast in the morning before leaving Two drawbacks — eggs were cold even though they were in a warmer and the tub/shower is a slip/fall issue waiting to happen

Once you are soaped up, the tub is super-slippery Even the grab bar was slippery with soap on my hands

Spacious rooms that are designed well, are comfortable and clean Front desk staff are friendly and know how to do their job making guests feel welcome Breakfast is typical Hampton Inn fare – cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit, and waffles, as well as premade eggs, meat, potatoes but the lady week prepares everything is very friendly and willing to help you get what you want/need if it’s not out

A great hotel in a quiet location Highly recommend

The hotel is very clean seems on the newer side it’s walking distance to Harris so getting something from the hot bar instead of eating out is easy and there are a lot of restaurants nearby in walking distance And they gym is well thought of since it has dumbbells up to 75lbs and cable machine and kettle bells a rower a bike etc…The bad sides of the hotel is that they still us the plastic tiny bottles, also the windows are tiny in the room maybe 3ft wide kind reminds me of when I served time for the ponzy scam using alpacas but that’s another story for another day…

Also door is locked at 6pm so you have to use your key makes me feel like a teen trying to sneak into the hotel 🤫 🤐 🤫

The property feels quite new and is well maintained The rooms are quite spacious and the kitchen and living area makes it feel quite comfortableThe check-in process was quick and efficient even though we reached the property quite late

The laundry service at the property did not have half the machines working, and the ones that were working, were not effective Anyways, coming back to the room The bathroom, kitchenette, bed were all of high quality We enjoyed our one night stay at this property

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place They compare countless hotel sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in this area

I enjoyed my stay at Hyatt House The guest service was friendly, staff friendly, rooms were homey and breakfast was okWhen I checked in I wasn’t informed of the free dinner tasting or the shuttle runs by the lady host but she was relieved of her position shortly after my arrival

I also spoke with the manager about the monthly rate, he said they were sold out until June but they are advertising available rooms that let you book online throughout the entire month when he said they were booked Maybe he was misinformed I’m going to contact him and get clarityOverall, It was a great stay and I would recommend
