Great hotel My king room was Super clean Spacious & updated!! We were shocked about the amount of space we received! So huge

The location was great There were so many food options near even a movie theater down the street The hotel staff was very friendly and there was also free parking at the hotel which was a plus There was a restaurant and bar in the lobby as well The only issue was the parking lot was extremely full so we had to wait for guest to move their cars in order to park Overall the hotel was amazing and I will definitely stay here again

Being on travel can be tough, one thing is that your away from home, family and friends When you find a place that welcomes you in and makes your stay justa little more pleasant you truly start to feel like it’s a home away from home That was the Hilton Garden for me

A room is a room but my room was up to date design wise and perfectly clean at check in Even though I do not request the staff to clean my room during my stays, the hotel cleaning staff stopped whatever they were doing and went out of their way to get me new towels and replenish my bathroom supplies as requestedThe Hilton Garden Inn customer service was top notch, professional and sincerely friendly I hope I’m not forgetting anyone but the following people went out of their way to make my stay that little bit more specialThanks to Brenda, Anna, Melissa, and Jaxtyn the front desk services who greeted me daily by name always had a smile on their faces and generally started or ended my day on a good noteAlex and Vanessa the restaurant/bar managers always greeted me as family and made me feel at home They were my go to for local food and attraction ideasJoe the bartender/food server along withNakaila, Ari and Douglas the food/bar servers treated me friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything I needed was taken care of We would often share stories of our weekend exploits and a laughRaoul from maintenance/late night front desk services was always there for me wether it was helping me setup my Xbox in the room or figuring out how to stop the tv from automatically turning off, he could fix it all He would always stop whatever he was doing to take the time to greet me and say hello in passingLast but not least is Sylvia the general manager Sylvia although always busy never missed an opportunity to greet me and ask how I was doing She went out of her way to help facilitate and secure rooms for other people I’m my group on travel even when there were no rooms available Sylvia would just make it happenMost of the time we have an abundance of choices on where we can stay while on travel When you find that place that makes you feel like your someone special and treat you like family then there is really only one choice to make and for me that is the Hilton Garden Inn

Requested a luggage cart to take my luggage to my room and was required to leave my id to take cart When I said that I have never been required to leave an I’d was told that I could get it back when I returned the cart I was told that it was a new policy because they only have 2 carts and guests don’t return them for use by other guests

Seems like there should be more carts and ask users to return them or return them to the elevator lobby on each floor Also some terrible stains on some sofas and chairs in lobby that need serious cleaning

Stay away from this hotel if you can We had many problems: 1) the hotel attendant “JD” is extremely rude, 2) breakfast is the worst, 3) noise fridge 1: We called the night we were staying to give the heads-up we were arriving after 9pm

JD, the attendant told me we had to be there before 11pm when I asked why, she hanged up on me I called her back several times and she would answer and put me on hold Finally I called from another number; she answered and asked her if she could put a note as I paid for the entire night I asked for a manager and she said to call the next day if I wanted a manager She hanged up on me again Son of a b After many other calls, I talked to her again In short, we made it by 10 pm, but this woman definitely doesn’t want to work there I am planning on filing a complain with Best West and Expedia as I got my hotel through them 2: breakfast was a brown bag with a granola bar, an apple, and a water It was a joke I specifically paid the price of this place because we like just having breakfast included This was not posted on the website either We had to go out to a restaurant for breakfast What a waste of time 3: the windows AC unit and the fridge were very loud at night Please avoid this place at all cost, specially if you go with your family

Grace S

The room is very small It’s about 100-200 square feet We live in the non smoking room, but we can smell the cigarette

The price is quite high We paid 140 dollars for a very small room in a small city It is a 2-star-hotel? I think it is worse than a one-star-hotelWe drove up to Los Angeles the next day, the room’s size is more than double than the this place Everything is newer and cleaner and we only paid for 100 dollars a night

Connie Garate

We were there for a wedding nearby We had 4 rooms (one was a suite with a kitchenette)The rooms were adequate

I was not informed that the breakfast was not available I got down to the lobby awaiting the hospitality centers opening When nothing appeared to be happening I tried to reach the customer service at the desk No one was there I went to my room and called the desk, again no response I was to be at my destination at 7am so I had to leave and buy a fast-food breakfast insteadThere were hundreds of farm workers staying at the hotel in rooms with multiple bunk beds They were fed from food trucks and taken by school buses to their worksites We never could get to the laundry room because of the many farm workers using the facilities

I stayed 2 nights and could not get the fan to work The remote showed that it was on, but the room was sweltering the whole time Apparently the office closes at 5:30pm and there’s no one around to be of assistance

I wanted to sit outside in the shade or around the fire pit in the evening for some relief but there was a wedding party of around 20-25 people who occupied all outdoor areas day and night for 2 entire days, so it was I was never able to do so Lastly, when I turned the TV off, there was a DISH network display that wouldn’t go away, even after manually turning off the TV Otherwise I loved the room itself, especially the claw-foot tub, and I enjoyed tooling around town on the bicycle they provided, but I think I’ll try another hotel/motel on my next trip out here

Nick Gusto

Staying at the Alamo Motel is a must when visiting Los Alamos! The staff members were delightful and the fire pit is very lively and communal during the evening They also have great local beers, wines, and merchandise for sale in the main officeP

SHarry Styles, if you are reading this, you have a huge fan attending your Inglewood show in October, so maybe you can give them a shout out during your set? Just a thought Thanks

My husband and I stayed at the Gypsy Suite and WOW we loved it The details of the room and the bathtub are spectacular! We’ve never been to a place like this Denise, Rod and Kathy were very nice and friendly

A gas station and restaurants are within walking distance which we loved We can’t wait to go back and stay at a different suite! Oh and before I forget the breakfast is super delicious and they bring it to the room without you having to step out or anything 10/10

I want to preface this review by saying that although our stay was marred by some major problems, I still want to go backThe Good:We stayed in the Egypt Room and it was enchanting I was worried it would be too hot but there was excellent temperature controls in the room

The theming was fantastic The bath was enormous and luxurious The shower was a standing shower that doesn’t feel cramped, and a showerhead that’s both high enough to stand over and adjustable as needed The street sounds never permeated the bedroom, and though I did hear people on the stairs it was infrequentAs some reviewers mentioned, the TV placement is a skoosh awkwardly You can see it from one side of the bed and the chaise lounge That said, we really liked the CD and kept it on as white noise (Additional thematic cds would be great!)I will also say that the food was delicious, and I loved how food etc was brought Every meal is room service at no extra cost, and it really adds to the feeling of luxury (And is great for an introvert!)The Bad:We brought up avoiding carbs when we booked our stay, and was told that while there would be some, there would be quiches and we’d be able to eat the egg and leave the shells if we wished This sounded fine At arrival, this was true for the first day, but the second day breakfast was nothing but carbs (Strudels and croissants) No mentions of our earlier request or agreement, no quiches second day I didn’t bring it up at the time because I really don’t like to complain (as you’ll see later) But I would be wary of staying here if you have dietary restrictions, especially related to blood-sugar levels (My need was based on a keto diet for that reason, but I’d already decided to not worry about it for the vacation itself)The much bigger issue:We had major plumbing issues The hot water in the shower kept cutting out, turning icy and causing pressure to dipMy husband called the number we’d been given, and the manager on duty said they’d contact the owner and get back to us I finished my shower in freezing waterLater my husband noticed the toilet was running a lot, a sound I had noticed too but assumed old building, old pipes He decided to check the well, and discovered a problem with the chain causing it to flush constantly He was able to reach in and temporarily fix it, and we agreed to just let it go for now, and talk to the manager about it when they got back to usThe manager never got back to us, so we called ourselves the next day after breakfast, brought up the discovery with the toilet Their reaction was something like ‘oh, you fixed it?’ to which I very emphatically emphasized it was absolutely not fixed, it was a bandaid They said they’d fix it for the guests after us, which I was not thrilled about, but agreed to because I’m conflict-adverseThis problem would continue to deteriorate throughout our stay until, by the end of our second (and final) night and for the rest of the stay, the toilet was completely unusable We had to ‘flush’ by dumping huge amounts of water into the well It was horrific and utterly ruined the final night (of two) and morningWe mentioned this at check out, and the manager said ‘well you mentioned you weren’t planning to leave your room’ being utterly dismissive that THERE WAS NOBASIC PLUMBING DURING OUR STAY IN THIS LUXURY HOTEL and acted like we requested this (We did not)After we left, the owner herself called and seemed much more apologetic Apparently, the first day she had called a plumber, but the manager had them sent away(!!!) after we called backOwner offered a small discount (especially considering the gravity of the issue) which I accepted mostly because I DO want to returnBut I still feel obligated to share this and emphasize that if you have issues, please stand your ground about it Don’t be like me I regret not being pushier, I might have been able to enjoy the end of the stay if I was

Amanda Carter

This place was definitely worth the 3 hour drive! The Innkeeper Denise and Ron were an absolute joy and made the overall experience very memorable We stayed for 1 night in the Roman room it was so much fun My husband and I were both blown away by the amount of detail and class this room had

The town is so charming and the Japanese soaking tub in the room will blow your socks off! If you’re looking for a place that is like no other you should make a reservation and check it out for yourself Cleanliness and customer service is very important to the owners and it shows! The breakfast was so savory and delicious it kept us full up until lunch time I’m in the process of making another reservation as I write this review! Don’t second guess this place!Treat yourself, or the ones you love to this experience of a lifetime You deserve to let your hair down and have a good time! I hope you booked something even if it is for a night

The room with a kitchenette was great Some of the dishes were dirty from who ever used them before us Breakfast was good, the little lady working in the breakfast area was the highlight of our stay

She is warm, friendly, kind, helpful, and probably the hardest worker I’ve ever met! She greeted everyone who walked through the door with a smile and a good morning, and sent everyone with well wishes as they left to start their day 🙂 It was a decent value

Initially, the room was stale and smelled slightly of mold Despite that, it was a cozy room with all of the basics The window fully opened so we caught a nice breeze

I was stoked on the fitness room! It contained all of the machines I use at the gym to get my sweat on Stationary bike, treadmill, 360 station, dumbbells, water cooler, ac Breakfast in the am is tended by the sweetest, most attentive lady! Breakfast was pretty packed by 9:30 am There was a nice selection of food We enjoyed our stay and had a late checkout by 1pm!

The true rating would be a 25 star for this hotel The hotel has elevators but are slow or out of order so get the top floor can be a pain as well as the stairs being close do to renovations

Some of the staff is good while others seem to be lost This could all be due to the area, but I am not sure The best part was the breakfast and the children loved this aspect as well The beds not the best and overall the rooms are okay

I wish I could give this remodeled motel 4 stars It’s in a perfect setting with nice views and fresh air The rooms were clean, updated and the pillows were very comfortable

The pool area was cute , small but poorly maintained There were no clean towels for guest use Unfortunately no bar service at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon ?! The facility fee of $20 is just not justified The main reason I give it 3 stars is lack of customer service It was lacking and it seemed that the receptionist at check out was just not interested I won’t be coming back unless I get a discounted rate for 3 star motel Check before going if restaurant and bar service available It was a ghost motel yesterday

ReviewWe booked this trip in April for a late June stay with our 3 year old They changed their pool policy (only 21+ allowed in pool now) between that time and failed to contact us directly (we even called in April to confirm children were allowed and indicated she was coming on the reservation) We arrived and due to the lack of direct communication, received an exception for her to use the pool from the staff

On a 95 degree Monday afternoon the GM Matt came up to the 3 of us in the pool and kicked her out He asked us to remove her from the pool which caused a crazy scene because she was hot, just got into the pool, and now felt like she did something wrong because this man told her to leave to her face There was only 1 other couple in the pool and our daughter wasn’t splashing our disturbing the peace Couples around the pool even offered to take a vote because they thought she was so adorable and it was so hot out We complained at reception and was told Matt would be reaching out with an apology and potential compensation since we weren’t allowed to use the facilities It’s been a week – no apology and we were charged the full amount including pool fees Matt – you should’ve pulled one of her caretakers aside outside of the pool to speak with one us directly Telling a toddler directly she wasn’t allowed was a poor choice and stained our first trip as a family post-Covid Staff knew a child was coming, they should’ve called us directly to inform us of the policy change Will never be coming back

Excellent views, yummy food (if you like steak, get the steak), clean rooms, well decorated rooms(get the room upgrade with the private patio and fire pit it was dreamy),and overall good energy on the property and with staff If you have any customer service needs they will take care of it And if they can’t attend to them in the moment, they will find a way to make it right

Great customer service Can’t wait to return next month for another staycationPs- if you like gin, get the “important date” at the bar

First time to this location and hotel The property appears to be old and I expected to see a rundown hotel I have seen other properties that have no pride in the hotel

Not this location it was the total opposite The grounds were immaculate and the entire staff from the desk to room made you feel like family I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area The happy hour was great and the food from breakfast to dinner was the best Thank you to management for taking pride in their hotel

Jerry Bass

Great hotel for amenities Staff was kind, prompt, and courteous The areas were clean and the rooms were as well

Had an issue in our room with the air conditioner, but they quickly fixed it The one thing to be aware of is the bathrooms are part of the main bedroom and the sink If you’re staying with others, they will need to access the main bedroom to use the bathroom That caused some minor inconvenience, but otherwise, everything else was great The breakfast in the morning is extensive versus the typical free continental breakfast Rooms had a microwave and refrigerator The best part of the hotel is the staff Everyone was accommodating and helpful

Leslyn B.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here Everything was clean, comfortable and welcomingThe daily breakfast choices were outstanding and the fresh/made-to-order omelets were absolutely delicious

We enjoyed the natural sounds of the birds and frogs at night It was calming

We booked the hotel using our reward points and received great serviceWe rank it as a high-quality Holiday Inn hotelThe experience would have been even better if the hot breakfast had provided

Mark Navarrette

Not pleasant paid over 500 for two nights and the customer service was poor Room wasn’t cleaned you have to request it to be cleaned, had to ask for more towels No complimentary water for the coffee and tea they offer in the room

Breakfast was still to go bags Yogurt small juice and small pastry and this is the weekend On Saturday the dining hall was available and the next day it wasn’t Bugs were also spotted in the room Just giving people the heads up I based my choice of this hotel on some of the reviews The photos were false of the hotel The swimming pool is right next to the street so not much privacy No security on site of property so outside people can go on site Very disappointed with service we’re past Covid virus and they are still serving small bags to go not worth the price

Maria Magana

Staff was friendly and welcoming Plenty of parking on site Clean rooms, big rooms, king bed was amazing and comfortable

I felt safe staying here You need your room key to enter the building and the elevators located outside Security guard on-site Plenty of eateries around there Easy access to and from fwy, why Only 20mins from the Chumash Casino and Solvang Would stay here again
