There room itself is typical for this price range A couple of issues we had with this location was primarily around parking Our room was 221 which happens to be the last room on the floor

We were across the hall from the fire stairwell exit that also served as the exterior door at the end of the floor Unfortunately, there are only four real parking spots on that end of the building That just means if your room number it’s close to 100 200 300, then your walk to your car won’t be that far But if you’re room is closer to 121 221 or 321, You’re likely going to have a bit of a trick between your room and your carThe shower and room 221 has a high-pitched squeal with the shower head Apparently there is an issue with the shower head and anytime someone takes a shower, you hear a very high-pitched squeal throughout the entire room and it’s very loud in the shower itselfThat’s for cleanliness, our bathroom still had a used bar of soap in the shower and a prior customers toothbrush and razor on the shelf unit hanging on the wallThe AC does have a fan that will stay on the entire night so that’s a plusAccess to one of the TVs HDMI port is very difficult to get to if you have a device that you want to plug in You can get to it but you can’t move the TV to see it as it’s mounted diagonally on the wall in the cornerThe lobby does not have any tables nor do they offer any breakfast in the morning If you’re looking for somewhere together with some friends at the end of the night, you’ll have to gather in a room or outsideAll in all this hotel was just fine but I wouldn’t recommend it We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly, but you do sacrifice in other areas for that

Cer

Would not recommend this place Pots, pans, utensils, dishes are very worn out and filthy Found other people’s hair in bedding during check in

Bathroom does not have a vent or that it’s broken I assume daily housekeeping doesn’t exist that’s why it wasn’t offered The bath towels are on the smaller side and rough There was a stain in one of themWould not return to this place Holiday Inn express is alot cleaner and nicer if you’re an IHG member

Obadah DB

I stayed here for ~16 days: the place was pretty good overall, the rooms had good amenities and were the size was okay I would recommend this place My only two complaints: The room had a bad smell; it’s very noticeable when you first enter but then you eventually get definitized to it, and the rate was a bit high given the size and quality of the place, but it wasn’t too bad

When I first checked in it was easily 5 stars all the way around and couldn’t believe the wonderful service for the price But unfortunately as our stay continued the price started rising and the Continental breakfast went from top notch to motel 6 standards Getting charged more for less Service from where we started

The Staff has kept the wonderful service through all the changes they are having to deal with

Lisa Fleischer

I visited the Inn while “back home” dealing with family issues The staff here is incredible! So very accommodating and helpful My mom and two sisters also had rooms

Additional issues arose and they helped us work through the details without complaint The cleaning staff was also very helpful working around OUR crazy schedules!! Thank you so much!! For sure visiting again!!

This was an awesome hotel and i hardly ever say that Service was top notch and so friendly even late at night Room was super clean and I saw housekeeping mopping the floors, so clean, loved that

Water was hot so no complaints there Breakfast was free and great, they have the waffle machine Excellent place to stay and great prices too oh and location is amazing

Annie Rivera

Stayed here during ice storm 2022 as I work at the hospital nearby and it was a great stay Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are very spacious with full sized fridge, and they had fresh coffee all day I came back at 1am one of the days and doors were locked, quick call and they opened them for me but I was glad they had this extra security to keep guests safer

Overall, happy with the stay and definitely recommend

Kayla Tillman

This was one of the best hotel experiences, I’ve had in a long time It had a huge handicap restroom with a chair for my son, with shampoo, conditioner, and body gel in the shower stall The room was huge and the beds were so amazingly comfortable

They were kind to accommodate us on the 1st floor for my disabled son The workout gym is very well equipped, the pool very nice with comfortable seating The breakfast with the self making pancake machine was amazing The staff was incredibly helpful for 2 days we stayed there during graduation times, and every shift really were top-notch Twin peaks and crispy Kreme is walking distance

Mitchell Scogna

Check-in was fine, the girl was informative but not friendly by any means My room was not clean at all: crumbs all over the floor, gunk on the walls of the shower and the bathroom door, fingerprints all over the wall The lid to the ice bucket was broken, minor gripe but just set the tone to the lack of attention to detail

There was a toothbrush left behind from whoever stayed in there last, party snap fireworks on the floor, plastic wrap around the fire sprinkler (I am guessing that is some sort of safety violation) The guy at the front desk explained all of that was from whoever stayed in the room before me (awesome, very helpful and comforting), gave me points on my account and put me in a new roomThe room that I got moved to was perfectly fine, it was just annoying that it took a second try to get it right Everything else was pretty good: the fitness center was clean and had enough equipment to get by, breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking every day The area has good proximity to a grocery store, gas station and a good selection of different restaurants with a variety of food styles to choose from

Jairus Durr

When I first arrived at this location I was unfamiliar with bed bugs and did not know exactly how to look for them When I arrived in the room it was a bug that was red in color and when I squished it, it bled profusely There were spiders small in nature on the floor under the bed

When I asked the front desk they assured me that the “bug man” sprayed the rooms often I had a few bites which I thought was mosquito bites from journey throughout the day After a long day traveling the city with my daughter I took a shower and got in my bed and noticed a brownish residue under my pillows and in the center of the bed I thought this may have been from something I ate While watching tv my daughter kept telling me there was a musky type of odor coming from my side of the room when the a/c was off I thought this could of been from just having old floors When I went to sleep and awoke for the day my daughter noticed I had several red marks on my back I went to the mirror and then saw over 20 red marks over my body My hands, wrist, and upper arms were the worst I googled what this could have been from and it narrowed down my issue to bed bugs I went and talked to the front desk and they seemed shocked and I brought to their attention I asked about this before and they assured me it was not an issue They moved me rooms to a room where the door did not secure and my belongings was exposed for much of the day When I came home and noticed this I came down and talked to the on duty manager and she said she would change my rates to $79 per night When I checked out today they only gave me two nights at this rate and when I called back they told me that was the best they could do for me I will not suggest this hotel or their brand to any of my work partners who travel through this area often I would get into how their cleaning service work for their maids but that will cause a more expletive review DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

1st time visit to Sandman

Amazing! We arrived at 3am and the front desk staff were there with smiles on their faces! The hotel lobby and common areas were beautiful and our room amazing! The smell upon walking in was so good – I need to know what that was! 🙂 I want my whole house to smell like it The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a soaking tub in it!! I was able to detox from our long drive in the tub before going to bed and if was an absolute dream!

Staycation Experience — we truly enjoyed a quick weekend trip her and will definitely return againCute and trendy stylish hotel, professional and friendly staff and very convenient location to restaurants and shops Beds were comfy and room was spacious

We did have a slight issue with the ac not cooking in the living area, while the bedroom area was just right The manager quickly moved us to a new room and was very accommodating

James Mann

We stayed here for a corporate event recently, and it was the perfect hotel for our group of 60! It’s a beautiful hotel in a central location, and the rooms are updated and well furnished (nicer than similar hotels I’ve stayed at in the area) Plus the two bars that were on site were perfect for getting together after hours Sherri Ray was awesome to work with in making all the arrangements for our group! I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others (whether for business or personal travel)

This is an older place and you can tell The rooms were a little run down I had to call for pullout bedding, but the lady brought it up quickly and she was so kind

The bed was extra soft, which I loved and the husband hated Not memory foam so every movement made the whole bed shake The room had great furnishings and loved the full kitchen!!!The complementary breakfast was prepackaged frozen biscuits snadwiches and waffles heated up and self served in the bag, kind of weird They also had cereal, yogurt, milk Daughter and I was not a fan of the breakfast, but husband liked itLaundry took $2 coins for each which you have to get from front desk

Donna Carr

This place is Ok but it does not even come close to meeting the standards typically set by Marriott We have stayed at many Marriotts and this one definitely rates on the low scale We have been here one night and I am considering relocating

Almost everything is dated and things just look run down There is an odor in the hall The stove is ancient as is the dishwasher The cabinets are cheap and have stains and bits of surface missing The kitchen sink faucet is so corroded that it is extremely difficult to move it left to right and back The space under the sink is dirty looking The room is for four but we have two towels, two washrags and two hand towels I am all for reusing a towel but there are zero towel hooks Overall, this room needs work Slapping a bit of paint on the wall, putting up some paintings and a new shower curtain helps but it does not resolve the glaring issues of an extremely outdated hotel There is no hot breakfast They have a small section towards the back of the reception area that has some prepackaged items that could be heated They also have yogurt, cereal, some fruit, milk and coffee If this establishment is still citing Covid as a reason to not provide the hot meal expected by its patrons, they need to make that explicitly clear at reservation time Burying the fact that hot breakfast is not provided somewhere in your website is not an acceptable way to disclaim I am sure this sounds unreasonable but Marriott has, in our experiences, certain standards and this hotel does not even come close On the up side, the rare interaction with staff has been pleasant and parking is good Final comments: the room had bugs The bugs looked like small roaches I flushed at least three The pool was not clean About 50-60% of the bottom was covered in a thin layer of algae I will say that every single interaction with staff was very pleasant I think they know what they are working with and yet they still try to do their best The ownership needs to step up and clean up/update this hotel

Chris M

Low cost suites

We’ve stayed here many times over the last 10+ years The rooms are a little worn, bath tubs showing their age, unraveling carpet, cabinets could use paint at the least Beds are comfortable, linenes clean, suite furniture is firm (but stained)The office personnel and staff have been wonderful and accommodationThey’re piloting a new breakfast platform of grab and go pre-made items They are ok We have tried 2 of the breakfast sandwiches as soon as they were put out, they were soggy on the bottom and tough on top Nice selection of sandwiches but they aren’t great I miss getting a bagel with peanut butter and bananaThe gym is tiny, no yoga mats and only 2 towels available, no wipes to clean equipment and the water is broken

Taylor at the front desk is so rude I went to extend my room and there was a long line After waiting 1/2 hour, when its my turn she says its past noon and you overstayed

I explained that I’ve been in line for last 1/2 hour and she says she just saw me walk in I recalled to her every detail that happened there for last 1/2 hour and then she’s convinced, but she keeps answering her phone and attending other customers while I’m still waiting to be taken care of I don’t know what’s their deal with overstay when I’m literally there to extend my stay Sorry guys this is not the level of service I expect when I’m paying a premium I’m taking my business elsewhere

Julie Winter

On the way to my first room I noticed that the carpet was dirty, especially in the elevator Once I got to the room, the toilet was dirty I went back to the front desk and got a 2nd room

When I took a shower the next morning, there were already body hairs in the shower Ugh Forget the COVID sanitizing, this place was just dirty and run down It smelled like an old, college apartment If I hadn’t pre-paid (trusting the IHG brand), arrived late and needed to be 1 miles from that intersection, I’d have left

Tim Stone

Will never stay at this location again First night there had car towed on Mother’s Day Was never told about car needing a pass

When I checked in I told them I would be staying a month or more You would think you would have a vehicle When I asked the front desk what happen to my car they informed me it was towed I explained to them I never knew about a pass nor did I ever think to ask for one The manager was very rude after explaining to her that I was never informed about a pass After spending 2 hours to retrieve it 317 dollars and a call to the IHG guest relations was it then they decided to reimburse me I downsized from 2 bedroom to a one bedroom with no money interruptions and was informed after 30 days that I had two reservations The front desk messed up on my reservations twice causing me to vacate property unexpectedly The staff at least admitted to their mistakes the manager Renee very rude and unprofessional I will be disputing all charges for my stay Worse customer service In violation of the law by not refunding me my tax money after staying for 34 days

Best customer service we have received in a hotel since the pandemic started The hotel was clean; the staff was exceptional and always greeted with a smile Anna and Gabriel ran the breakfast bar, and they made sure it was stocked until 9:30 and were helpful when asked for stuff that might have run out

We also needed our rooms cleaned since we stayed over a week, and we had no issues; Margarita was super helpful when we needed extra towels or new bedding Overall this is the best we have had since 2019

Kelsey Crystal

I seriously cannot say enough great things about this hotel As someone who suffers from severe mold, dust, and chemical sensitivities and allergies, it is extremely difficult to find a hotel who will accommodate these This location has done everything possible to help accommodate me during my multiple long term stays here and I can’t thank them enough

The general manager Jay and his assistant manager Brittany and their team are so helpful and accommodating and will do whatever they can to help you feel safe and relaxed here Thank you guys for always taking care of me during my stays

Holly Montemayor

My family stayed here for 6 days for a baseball tournament this month Every person we interacted with was very friendly and helpful The air was cold, the pool was clean, the beds were comfortable, the laundry worked well, and the shower wasn’t the typical low pressure hotel shower

The room was VERY clean- especially considering people cook in the rooms I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

After a long day of work I arrived to the hotel around 1030pm The room I booked was not ready and I was told they did not have my room type available Marriott has a reservation guarantee so I told the front desk of the policy

They seemed to be on the same page and to honor the policy A few minutes later, the shift manager made a call to the facility guy on site and asked if a room was clean He wasn’t sure but she asked him to take a look and make sure it was ready for a stay Supposedly this guy cleaned and prepared the room within 15 minutes I am not sure if it was actually cleaned or not In total, I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby and was able to get to my room at 1130pm No accommodation, poor service, no urgency, no customer service I stayed over 100 nights with Marriott last year I have never had a bad experience until staying at this Westin

David

The suite they put me is was nice, but it had a strange layout The toilet was down the hall and around the corner with motion sensores closet lights with no doors in between That was annoying at night

I didn’t want the lights on!Lastly, the shower head was very low They said it was because it was an ADA room Maybe that is a legitimate building code or requirement in Texas However, I have been put in many ADA rooms in my travels and never seen this Just be aware when booking or being assigned your room

Alan Bielefeldt

The hotel and rooms were modern, clean, very nice and comfortable I had put in for a specific suite upgrade, which i was told i received When we checked in, it was a room with a Pelton which they said was a Junior suite

But this wasn’t one of the two suites I had requested, so it was disappointing to have two suite nights used for this upgrade As a Platinum member, this is room would be the normal upgrade we typically receive without using a suite night as the Pelton was the only addition to what seemed like a regular room Another area we were very disappointed with was their breakfast staff and food which was lacking in comparison to many other Marriott hotels we’ve stayed For example the first morning they give us a menu, but recommend the buffet since they said it would take at least 25 – 30 minutes for any menu item we ordered So we select the buffet which my wife picked the oatmeal which turned out to be dried up and cold, from sitting in the pot I selected the scrambled eggs and potatoes which were also cold and eggs were runny Our waitress only came by once to bring the bill, so we had to wave down other staff for coffee refillsAlso, we were very frustrated with the pool which was over crowded, they have limited chairs with umbrellas, so we baked in the sun, which is not great in Texas with 105 temperatures Not to mention the pool water was very hot, so it took away from our plans for a relaxing weekend

Room was nice, bed was comfy Customer service is severely lacking at this hotel My friend had booked a room at the same time I did

When she arrived, her room had been given away, due to “overbooking” She was never notified, or offered any real solutionI’m not sure if that’s the hotel’s fault or the third party booking, but nonetheless the lack of care was disappointing I would choose a different hotel in the future for this reason, which is a bummer because it’s in a nice area within walking distance to some cool spots

Shishir Vahia

Value for money But quite far from the business district You may end up paying more for rideshare to reach somewhere

I had requested a microwave bowl It was not provided for 15 days Kitchen amenities are available but needs a 2nd clean Rachel at the Front Desk is very helpful Housekeeping Service is claimed to be provided every 7 days My room was serviced only once in 17 days that too after a couple of requests

Amazing hotel! Only downfall is every time we would use our sink it smelt HORRIBLE! Smelt like straight sewage disgusting! The drain on the restroom floor is where it came from Besides that we enjoyed our stay Aso our room didn’t come with a hair dryer… we had to call the front desk and get one from a different room and she wanted it back after we used it…

We spent four nights in this hotel which was conveniently located for our purposes Unfortunately the carpet was very dirty with many spots that looked like they could have been cleaned if someone had tried The air conditioner was extremely noisy while running and clunking as it turned on and off

It kept us awake off and on all night The shower door was so small that it made it difficult to get in and passed the dispensers on the wall My husband and I are not large peopleThe staff was very polite and helpful

Both rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you need including microwave, dishes, dishwasher, silverware, fridge, toaster, blow dryer, and a nice table on wheels that can be used for dining or as a desk They also offer a burner plate if you want a stove top cooking experience Just ask the front desk and it’s freeThe daily free breakfast has lots to choose from including waffles, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, granola, cereal, toast, juices, etc They were also great about wiping down tables and sweeping/mopping the floorsThe front desk always had someone present, and they were quick to help with extra towels, blankets, a free toothbrush, bottles of water, etcThere was ample parking, an indoor pool, gym, and laundry facility The AC in the room was nice and quietThe only thing to be aware of is they allow dogs in this hotel They have a policy that if you can’t keep your dog quiet, they will refer you to a local boarding house to keep your dog at We didn’t bring a pet and only briefly heard barking I’m sure this will vary for everyoneOverall, a clean hotel with prompt service

Try another place These employees are thieves Cleaning crew stole valuable possessions

Left a dress shirt behind on recent trip Called front desk immediately They stated retrieving item (described it to me for verification) and promised to hold for pick up Still have the voicemail saved Magically, as soon as they learned the value ($800), it mysteriously grew legs and the entire staff developed a case of amnesia!!I would seriously caution anyone from considering this establishment My company, and our colleagues, will be doing the sameCourtyard @ The Colony, congrats on forfeiting $100,000/yr!! You’ve earned the loss

We were pretty happy overall Any real complaints would be woth the other guests We didn’t use much, just the room

The hallways aren’t temperature controlled, so the texas heat the hallways are were very warm but not a big deal since the room was cool The ac is worked fine, though it takes a bit to bring it down, cause I like the room like a freezer Overall it was a nice place We got a sweet with 2 queens and a pull out sofa The beds were pretty nice The pull sofa was the usual for a pull out The one staff member we dealt with was funny and nice I would stay here again, for sureI booked through the app, last minute

We came down to celebrate a birthday First we went to the pool with everyone and there was glass in the bottom of the pool so we didn’t stay long Room cleanness looked okay but when we woke up the next morning there were ants all in the bathroom around the toilet and shower area

We ended up checking out early and had to notify the front desk

I’ve stayed at Marriott hotels for over 20 years, but the quality for what I pay has declined over the years I made a reservation for this hotel for a special occasion for a friend The room looked horrible! It was half cleaned, and there were holes in the curtains! After calling the front desk, I was shown a few other rooms that had holes in the curtains, as well as a toilet that ran nonstop, damaged kitchen chairs, a cracked toilet, loud A/C unit, and the list goes on!!! It was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve ever had in my life! I got a message from the hotel that said they’d share my experience with the hotel staff, but offered no credits or anything for all the mess I had yo deal with! Never ever again! It’s PAST time to find another hotel chain

The thermostat is connected to a motion detector If the system does not detect movement in the room, it turns off the heat or air conditioning Now imagine 90+ degree weather in Texas

You go to sleep nice and cool, and then wake up in the middle of the night hot, sweaty, sticky, and uncomfortable Now imagine a week of this Ridiculous! I can’t recommend this hotel for this reason alone unless you want to freeze in cold weather and bake in hot weatherThe light behind the mirror wasn’t working either, so that made shaving more difficult than it had to be also The free breakfast was nice because it was free, but it’s pretty much the same thing every day Eggs and sausage patties, same cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, and you can make waffles It’s OK if you don’t mind the same choices every day Too bad, because other than these issues, the hotel was OK

Nurse

Pros: Located in a great location that’s close to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping…you could literally just walk Friendly front desk staff at checkin5🌟sCons: The rooms aren’t as clean as they should be

We switched rooms because our bathroom was dirty and you could obviously tell that the kitchen floor hadn’t been cleaned Our second room was on the same caliber as the first, but we decided to just clean it to the best of our ability, and call it a night 3🌟s

My family and I stayed in this hotel while we transitioned into moving into our new apartment Though our stay was way longer than expected, we enjoyed every night Corey was the first person we met, and the first person we were enthusiastic to see when we came running out of the lobby to go to work

His customer service skills, personality and joy brightened our days with every single encounter The rooms were clean, the rest of the staff were great and this is, overall, a great location and experience There are even a handful of restaurants across the street and a Walmart not even 5 minutes away

Christopher Santos

30+ Day stay Seamless Roberta and Anela were outstanding and always friendly and helpful

The room was weekly cleaned and immaculate Daily breakfast was delicious and always a little different We miss the Texas shaped waffles nowIf ever we have to do this again We will not hesitate to stay there again Do yourself a favor and don’t even wasting time at the adjacent hotels next to it

Michelle Gordon

My in-laws were visiting and we went to visit them at this hotel I walked in to a clear and fresh entry and and Corey greeted me with a warm welcome He knew the guest I was there to see, made a connection with my entire family and talked to me the whole time I wanted for them to come down

Based off of this experience and the warmth Corey brought alone, I will be recommending this location

I had just relocated from Dubai to Frisco I stayed in this hotel for 20 days and this was the best decision!!The staff is super friendly and helpful I don’t think I’ve seen such courteous staff in other hotels

My cargo boxes were due to be delivered when I was traveling and they managed to keep them in the conference room till I came back and took them Kate and Shelly are amazing ladies and they were extremely helpful throughout my stayThe place is very conveniently located near super target and a lot of restaurants nearbyThey have managers reception every Wednesday with complimentary drinks and finger foodOverall great experience!

Absolutely loved staying here I see why they got such good ratings We were house-hunting, so it was a 30+ day stay, so it was our home away from home

Thank you Shelley, Vickie and others for such great service I worked in hotel management for almost 20 years and you’re doing it right at Homewood Frisco Keep up the good work!

Tina Roberts

This is a pretty good hotel come down once a month This is the 1st time at this hotel The bed was comfortable and lots of pillows

The shower is great and is perfect for taller people Tv is a bit small Shampoo and conditioner was enough that I could use one each The front desk lady was a bit condescending when I got there since my friend was there 1st

It was good The staff was amazing! They were friendly and always willing to help No issues with the staff what so ever

Where I did have issues though, was the room The room was clean and fresh The highway noise was horrible, maybe because I was on the side of the highway Obviously the noise is louder Not sure if you hear the highway nois on the other side of the hotel If you stay make sure you’re not in a room facing the highway They could upgrade the windows to block out the noise The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would like Still manageable What really got me was the sulfur smell you would get in the main lobby You couldn’t smell it in the rooms or the hallways on the floor I was on It was strong in the lobby It did not help because I’m a big breakfast kinda person With that smell I lost my appetite Overall good experience minus the smell and highway noise Staff was amazing One of the best I have experienced

Overall this was a good hotel and I definitely would stay there again For the most part it was clean it did have some spots that were not clean in the bathroom which would indicate that they didn’t do a 100% of a good job cleaning You can see those in the picture things that were left on the counter

The room itself needs a little bit of work on cosmetic as there are contractors fingerprints and other things wallpaper peeling and water damage signs The structure also probably needs to be evaluated because it has some major shift Front guest staff was awesome and nothing but friendly both at night and in the morning It’s nice to see that they keep more than one person on hand for the front desk at all hours Hotel is handicap accessible and has accessible rooms Shower was great although the shower doors are installed backwards Rooms could use a little bit more soundproofing as sound travels through the doors fairly easily You’re also going to hear a little bit of highway noise depending on the side of hotel you’re on because it is directly besides 75 They have a good snack and drink selection at the front desk They also have extended breakfast hours till 10:00 on Saturday which is better than a lot of neighboring hotels Parking is decent though it can be tricky to navigate and there’s a shortage of spots in the front I was able to find a spot still open later in the evening though so it wasn’t too bad Gaining access to the hotel is easy if you’re going southbound on 75 however if you’re going northbound you’ll have to bypass and loop back to it Easy to spot from the road Overall I would probably stay here again but one thing that does detract is they have anti-concealed carry and open carry signs The signs are not valid as they are posted incorrectly however they get the point across that they don’t want anybody that carries to stay in their hotel

Jerry Schrader

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend, I cannot express how amazing the staff was to us, everyone of them However Gabby went above and beyond as she mostly dealt with us throughout the stay There’s not enough that I can say about this place, they’ve always treated us like royalty, but this weekend when we really needed it they shone through

I highly recommend Hyatt in Allan
