Great location and very clean room The staff was friendly and helpful as well The reason it is not 5 stars is because each morning they ran out of hot breakfast items by the time we got to breakfast which was still an hour from breakfast closing

In addition, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken and the elevator had an unpleasant pungent odor The cold breakfast selection was decent, but if the hotel advertises a warm breakfast, they should make enough for all of the guests

Katie L.

A friendly notice There is HOT BREAKFAST but you have to know who to ask to get it They keep it behind the counter, indicated with a little sign atop a food container

It will list your breakfast options and then you just ask the person at the desk to get you some Sometimes the option really sucks and other times it’s good I’m a contract worker and spend significant times outdoors working If you NEED a good breakfast like me to last you the day, I’d honestly just stay somewhere else unless you intend to make it yourself in the morning They are suite style rooms, so you certainly could given the mini kitchenette you have in your room Other than that, I still prefer the Home2 over the other Hilton options in the area For the space and comfort I feel, I think it ends up being worth it The Hampton Inn has great breakfast, however it’s a bit outdated Then the Tru is certainly nice but you get reduced amount of points for stays If you stay with Hilton to get points, then that could matter

Kerstin N.

Honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, and I’m pretty particular about hotels Quiet stay, big well-lot parking lot, free breakfast, lots of seating and space to spread out in the breakfast/lobby area The hotel suite itself was spacious and clean, and it seemed fairly new

I appreciated the use of reusable mugs/plates/bowls in the lobby to cut down on waste The workout room and pool were more open and inviting than most hotels I’ve come across We had a short stay but this would be a great spot for longer stays too

Receptionist was friendly and tried to be helpful However, for over $200 a night, I expected better No shampoo/lotion in room

No functioning ice machine on 4th floor (broken), soda machine on floor sold out TV remote was missing Got a replacement but it still didn’t work so we had no functioning television during our stay Come on Marriott You can and should do better Your quality is slipping

Jeff Griffin

A Marriott in name only Quality was lacking Went to front desk in the morning after our first night to ask for certain deficiencies to be fixed (bathroom door wouldn’t lock, thermostat not working, bathroom outlet not working, very slow bathroom drain)

Manager Pamela didn’t take any notes, or apologize, or address any of our issues She didn’t seem to care in the slightest Breakfast was gross Pool seemed polluted (and very cold) Ick You should keep looking

Ola Faye

Not sure if this happens all the time, I stayed here for four nights and I did not get any good sleep for those four nightsNights was noisy with people playing loud music Yelling all into the nights/ morning

I called front desk to help control the noise It stopped but next night it was the same all over I just gave upBreakfast is just breakfast nothing to write about it Good customer service

My husband and I reserved this hotel for over a month for when our two children went on spring break When I had called the hotel itself to ask questions the person who answered the phone which was Nora was very eager to answer any question that my husband or I had She was very knowledgeable and even told me about the Hilton honors and the app

I bet I called her everyday for weeks leading up to our week stay and there was never an answer of the phone without a sweet hello and thank you for calling When we checked in the staff was warm and welcoming and gave us the info we needed for the gym, pool and breakfast times Anything we needed they were more than helpful to make sure we got it Our children loved getting breakfast every morning getting their juice and making their blueberry or chocolate chip waffle I loved the biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and yogurt They always had coffee made in the lobby Our kids loved the pool We had a hard time getting them out of it The ice machines worked We had a double queen studio Plenty enough room for the 4 of us All the staff is so friendly and always greeting you with a smile The rooms are very roomy Very clean as well Beds are very comfortable I would recommend this hotel to family and friends And we will stay again We greatly enjoyed our time here

Stephanie Farmer

This place is very nice, and clean The staff was very kind I was there with my son for a birthday gathering for my grandson

Rooms are large In the shower area it has shampoo and body gel dispensers! It was wonderful The pool is indoors Nice and warm They also had a free breakfast buffet I was very pleased with my stay I will go again and also recommend to any body that will listen!!! Thanks Home2 suites, it felt like home!!!

Jon Duke

It’s nice enough, the bathroom is small enough that you have to straddle the toilet to shut the doorThe room is a king with a pullout couch Reminds me of a cruise ship

Nice but crampedThe good wifi is an extra $5 a day as wellRecommend for single travelers and couples only Been a challenge with kidsIt’s right near a major shopping center but on the wrong side of the freeway You have to go through the lights any time you want to go anywhere

I booked a king size room with access to the pool so I could relax Unfortunately my room card would not access the pool area and when I brought that up to the staff upon my arrival they acted like it was a bother to respond to me Two staff members were discussing another room when I approached them with this problem, and at first I was treated like I bothered their precious time then told me (a paying customer) to wait and they would see what they could do then went back to talking like I wasn’t even there

At no time, was I contacted to rectify this problem So I wasted my time and money to enjoy a nice relaxing night swimmingPlus, the shower/tub was kind of scary to step into without shower shoes on But the room was spacious and clean for the most part The free offered breakfast was about the best part of the whole stay! That’s as close as I got to the pool was taking a picture from outside the glass windows!

Mark Gurin

Had no refrigerator in our king room even though we should have Called front desk and they said it was removed for service, then why not replace or not give out this room Ice machine broke on fourth floor as well so had to go to floor below for ice and since I had no fridge had no choice

Breakfast sucks as well not to many choices only had eggs and sausage No pancakes as machine was ALSO broke…sigh At least room was clean

Oh My Word

This place is pure heaven! Obviously an entire room dedicated to hot tub bliss is an instant yes However, there was so much else to love The fridge and pantry was stocked The bed was huge and comfy The check in and out was so effortless They made a guest reference guide that included everything you might need Seriously, I don’t want to tell the world how amazing this place is because I want it all for myself but to keep it secret would be cruel Have a great time!

Michelle Gibson

BEWARE! When I checked in to the Inn, I was shown around the property and was told by the owner that there was a “friendly ghost” that resided upstairs in the attic The room that I rented was also upstairs on the other side of the attic door When I was too afraid to close my eyes, I left the premises

I expressed my fear to the owner and requested a refund for my nights stay She was harsh, not friendly and non agreeable Very very bad customer service I would have been fine if she wouldn’t have told me about the ghost!

Ed Sowinski

Rode my bike out from Columbus to spend a night of exploring the Oregon district and visiting as many local breweries as possible ( there are several ) My host was super nice and invited me to share a glass of wine with her and some locals on the patio Then over to Blind Bob’s for the bestest burger ever! Great trip! I will do it again next year

My family and I were traveling through and stopped just to sleep I have an autistic 6 year old who likes to fall asleep in a chair so I made sure the hotel room had a chair before I booked the roomWhen we entered the room there was a giant empty space where the chair should have been as well as a damaged area of floor

The toilet in our room had diarreah or blood up the back of the toilet bowl before anyone had used itThe room that was next to us was having a dispute and the door between rooms doesn’t block soundI would have requested a different room, but moving rooms would have been traumatizing for my son I had planned to stop and discuss my experience at the front desk, but someone was already doing that and there was only one employee I didn’t have time to waitThe bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice

Molly Howard 101 (Baby ray ray)

I walked in to a few hotels in the area to book a small Bday party for my 12 year old The front desk man booked me for 2 weeks out I walked in to explain it was a party in the pool, but only 3 people will stay

I said I would like to blow dry the girls hair before they went home He said he would get me a first floor room if I called the morning of The day we checked in and started the party The manager was watching on the camera, made us move our cookies and brownies Then he made us move stuff a second time Then he literally kicked us all out of the pool Saying I had 20 kids There were 9 and they were all well behaved I wish I would have been told when I walked in to book, that we could not be in the pool I was yelled at by the manager saying we were told the rules A true, flat out Lie!!! The manager was the rudest person ever He should go back to skate boards and leave management to an adult

K LL

My room was not clean I found a pill (medication) on the floor of the bathroom,( I have a service dog that could have eaten it) the toilet didn’t work, (didn’t flush)I arrived at 10:20 pm and checked out at 5:30 am

I realized that the toilet didn’t work at 1:45 am so, I wasn’t able to use it when I got up at 5am to leave I reported all of this to the man at the front desk and told him I wanted my points back(I’m a diamond member, the highest level tier) I used points for the stay, he pretended like he returned them by giving me a receipt with no chargesThe next day I had not seen the points return so, I called the hotel Management emailed me that they were NOT returned my points BECAUSE I didn’t report the problems to them, there were no notes on my file 🤨 They are a bunch of liars 🤥 And I will be filing a complaint with corporate

I stayed here for a night and it was fine Not the best Residence Inn I’ve stayed and not the worst The sheets were scratchy (I had read this in a prior review and I wasn’t sure what that meant, but now I get it!) It’s an older hotel and could definitely use some updating and the carpets in the hallway in the stairway had some crumbs and could use some cleaning

The front desk staff was pleasant I was bummed they put me on the top floor even though I had requested a low floor I guess the hotel was sold out that night, so I get itWould’ve been five stars had the room and hallway been a bit cleaner and sheets a bit softer

Megan Arnold

The room is very nice I like the full kitchen and open area for the dining table I wasn’t impressed with the “cleaning”

When we showed up there was hair on the bathtub side and bottom The breakfast was the nicest variety I have seen, they even had gluten free muffins The pool is small but enough for the kids to play for a little while before getting bored But the location is right in front of a huge mall which we walked to numerous times There are tons of other stores minutes from this location if you needed anything (walmart, food etc) it’s real close We will be back

Rob P

Place needs some TLC Did not feel like a Marriott experience Many areas dimly lit

Many plug-in air fresheners used to stabilize common areas Guest Room needs a good detail cleaning Housekeeping was not available & hope this will change soon Nice recycle bin in room but didn’t see the same outdoors This is my 1st 2 star rating ever about a Marriott Hotel Over priced for being two stars

A wonderful place to stay When we checked in the staff was friendly and we entered the elevator which was clean our whole stay When we walked into our room it was completely clean

We were provided with lots of towels, a clean shower that has body wash and shampoo, as well as hand soap which was very soft on our skin and moisturizing The beds were very comfy in my opinion My mom would probably rate the beds 4 because they were “a little hard, but the pillows were good” The TV has quite a few channels and we watched The Office our whole stay We were also provided with a closet, drawers, and some shelves for our belongings As for the gym it was quite good They had an elliptical, a bike, some treadmills, and weights They also had a pool which we didn’t use My mom was disappointed that there was no hot tub but that’s okay There was also some coffee and tea bags provided and even a hot water maker so you could make it in the comfort of your room Overall a great stay even if we only were here for a night One last thing, breakfast was very good and had lots of options for drinks and food, and the staff kept up on making sure items were stocked and clean

Lexie Althore

Very clean! Great service and location Delicious breakfast I am happy staying here while I’m in town for work

I’m night shift and the blackout curtains are great and I haven’t had any trouble sleeping during the day between shifts I only wish I could use the pool late at night when I’m off with adult only hours, but it closes at 10

Arielle Willer

I wanted to like this hotel, but was disappointed Good things: nice lobby, nice hang out patio with gas fire fixture, spacious rooms, beds fairly comfortable Disappointing things: breakfast very simple affair and gets boring after 2 days, pool is absolutely frigid and unpleasant to swim in

My 3 year olds lips turned blue The front desk said it was set to 80 something degrees, but the pool room is blasted by the a/c, so it’s just extremely cold I overheard another guest saying it had been like that for months Pretty disappointing when one of the reasons we chose it was the indoor pool

We booked our room a month in advance and paid for it We arrived late but called to be sure our room would be available and the desk assured us our room would be available because we had paid for it Well, they had already resold our room when we arrived and told us no refunds

They gave us another room with smaller beds and charged us again at a higher rate (our kids had to sleep on the floor) Sheila, the manager avoided our attempts to contact her for two weeks I had to call the corporate office to file a complaint and then she still avoided our calls (She was at the hotel when we called but conveniently unavailable) Finally I had corporate call her and put me on the phone with her She refunded partially the additional room cost but failed to make the situation right I informed her I had read the hotel policy on ethics I felt this was a violation She was rude and sarcastic, “I am surprised you can even read” was her reply There are many other choices for hotels in the area and I recommend you look past this hotel for one that treats their customers with more respect and offers solutions when they make a mistake instead of insults

Bobbi Spiegler

Serious remodeling needed Carpet wearing Curtains are older

A/C, heating system is loud Pluses are, beds are very comfortable Good breakfast, dining area was clean and well stocked The kitchen staff though one woman, did an excellentjob The gym had no sanitizer and equipment needed cleaning ie the only working treadmill Very pricey for the quality of the hotel

FinallyFennix

I will start off with some good notes The staff was very friendly and so were the patrons Their breakfast was big, with a lot of selection

That being said, this Hampton Inn is in shambles Every amount of furniture, in the rooms, halls and breakfast area is ripped, torn, warped, scuffed etc It feels very run down Not well kept AT ALL There is no Wi-Fi The air didn’t work in the room and was definitely not on in the halls/elevators Although it was not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone Pretty disappointed with the hotel and their price You don’t get what you pay for

Stayed 2 nights ( June 24 – June 26 ) Area was safe and stores/restaurants nearby Room ( Suite ) was clean and all amenities provided as advertised

Ample free parking Room cleaned after 1st night and new/additional towels provided Front desk personnel were polite and friendly Free hot and cold breakfast provided each morning in good sized area for guests Hot coffee provided via machine/dispenser was very good flavor wise My wife and I would stay here again anytime All in all stay was pleasant

Niki Mastny

This is a great, well cared for hotel For the price point, they offer a great free breakfast bar with your stay that they actually maintain and refill during breakfast hours The breakfast area is open all day and you can hang out there if you get take out from somewhere local or for playing games, hanging out, etc

The pool is well maintained The room was clean and didn’t have a musty smell as some hotels can that have AC units in themThe employees were helpful and kind I would recommend this place for travel multiple nights for more than just a place to sleep, but somewhere you could hang out after businesses are closed and feel comfortable

lyle Wittmann

I travel for work and stay exclusively at Country Inn This hotel is always clean and I have no issues with the room whatsoever The owners/employees I can’t say enough great things about

Every time I request or needed anything, it was provided or taken care of quickly The staff is always so polite and very attentive when I see them One even brought two freshly cooked cookies to my room just because I mentioned earlier in the day how good they were This is my experience at this hotel now for the past two two week They count on my return business while I’m working in Ohio

Other than a minor issue with the kitchen sink leaking under the cabinet (easily addressed with a mixing bowl for the duration of our stay) everything was perfect The 1 bedroom suite was more than enough space for 2 adults and our cat (she gives it 5 paws) for our 2 night stay Next time we’re in the Dayton area, we will definitely be staying here again

The staff was wonderful and the hotel is in a terrific location

David Hewitt

It’s simple and cleanBut, two appliances (one in the kitchen and bathroom) were not working properly There is also no recognition of status

Breakfast is basic and parking is “free”Missed the complimentary happy our, but it is a nice touchThe Staybridge is fine, but there are better choices in the area Key appliances not working in the room was disappointing

Baxter Exum

Overall, we had a great 4-night stay Mary at the front desk was outstanding As others have noted, though, the room had a weird layout

The TV was perpendicular to the bed, making it hard to watch And the bathroom is on the other side of the bed, laid out in a way where there’s no privacy and you nearly have to step into the shower to be able to close the door No hot tub, only a pool (I must have just missed this in the list of amenities) Everything else was great

My one night stay at this Fairfield Inn was a great experience The location is easy to find and near the highway Having booked in advance, check in was simple and quick

My room was very clean and up to date It was well-equipped with all the essentials The bed and pillows were very comfortableBut there was one oddity in my room The artwork (see included photo) was out of place for this quality of hotel However, I’ll probably remember the image for a long time Why? It is driving me crazy trying to figure out why the “artist” included the letter “R” twiceIf you want a snack or drink before bed, I suggest you bring your own There were no vending machines There was a “market” near the check in desk But the selection was limited And the prices were highThough I didn’t use it, the indoor pool looked inviting The atmosphere in the room was bright – rather than the dark closed in feel of many hotel poolsThe included breakfast was nothing special But it was freeCompared to other nearby hotels, the price was only slightly higher And, in my opinion, the added cost was worth itWhether traveling with family or on business, I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn near Dayton, Ohio

Matt Furrow

Stayed here a few nights while visiting family Prices were comparable to other hotels and the staff were friendly helpful The hotel, like most businesses in the service/hospitality industry was short staffed, but for the most part that didn’t impact the stay

Room was clean and comfy, and the location was nearby several other restaurants and had easy access to the highway

Heidi Aigner-Bailey

The hotel was very clean and one of the friendliest places we have stayed When walking in and out of the hotel, the front desk staff would greet you and talk with you about how your stay was going and how our baseball games were going The cleaning staff was beyond friendly when you were interacting with them in the hallway

Brady, who is the receptionist at the front desk, shared stories about her own child and was beyond friendly with our children I would highly recommend staying in this hotel

I don’t normally write reviews, but this one is necessary If I could give this place negative stars, I would The room vents had black dust all over them from not being cleaned-My son and I developed a cough while we were staying here

The paint is peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom The tub has stains all over it The bathroom fan doesn’t work The toilet does not flush right The chairs and booths in the downstairs eating area are so disgusting, my six year old would not even sit down, and honestly, I didn’t want to either We only had the breakfast here once because everything is so dirty The mattress pad on the pull out couch has pee stains on it The elevator door sounds like it’s going to trap you in there because it hasn’t been greased And the evening janitor has an attitude problem The only thing nice I can say is the front desk staff were kind Other than that, I cannot say enough that my family was disgusted by this Hilton and we won’t be back I hope this review saves your family from an gross experience And Hilton, if you read this-get your people there to clean this place up

This place was pretty nice to stay at with only a couple inconveniences that we came across If our room,531, had working A/C like what you felt when you walked in the building that would have been great We slept in a 75 degree room all night

Not comforting Also the gym doesn’t actually have free weights like the website described Other than that it was a good experience

Adam&Eve

The rooms are fine, but the people at the front desk (day-shift) were disrespectful to me Be aware (especially if you are black or with kids) that they will give you a flashy smile just to make you feel happy, it is all fake I was surprised to see one of the senior staff (who seems to have a managerial role) reprimanding a younger associate in front of me because the younger associate gave me some information about my room bill

The gist of the story is that this senior staff didn’t want me to know how much the third party charged me for the roomthe familiar dishonest corporate system

We stayed at this Hilton when we went to a retirement party Everything was so clean and EVERYONE was so nice The breakfast bar workers made life so nice with a cheery smile and a kind word in the morning

Our room was clean and comfortable I would stay there again Kroger’s is close We didn’t go to any restaurants in the area, as we had family functions to attend I loved how our room was close to the door and elevator Was on 4th floor Was perfect! Shower was perfect too — water pressure was goodeverything was perfect! Thanks

Good points include: quiet, clean, enough room to do yoga or stretch, great hill in the back to let your dog run around, and specialty coffee machine available in lobby 24 hours a dayNegative points include: spotty cell service in the location (AT&T), internet not functioning properly, AC returns to setting of 84 degrees after 6 hours, causing you to wake up sweating to turn it back down again, toilet rocks back and forth (room 133)Completely overpriced (room $175 with pet fee of $75) considering the negative points above, but was in a pinch and could not find another place at the time

Front desk men were kind and attentive, location is gorgeous and well kept by staff Brandon looked hungover for meeting applicants Jennifer never returns calls or emails

Do not work here because they do not communicate with staff and it’s all narcissistic white people hiring only folks of color We should have diversity in the workplace and not mock history It’s disgusting
