We have stayed in Dewey many times but never in this hotel We chose this for the ocean front rooms and kitchenette option The staff here was incredibly helpful and FRIENDLY! The room and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained

Now, if you’re looking for brand new, high end amenities, this might not be the place for you Some areas are a bit dated and could use some love However, our room with a corner view right on the beach, was remodeled and inviting The bed was firm but comfy Could have used softer, fluffier blanketsThe kitchenette was clean and very useful, however, could have been better stocked with cookware and utensilsOver all, I’d highly recommend staying here! You can’t beat the view, proximity to the beach and the staff was exceptional!

Great Price Beautiful Views – even in winter :-)Hotel is older but room was comfortable and updated No elevator BUT there is a dumb waiter for luggage! The floor to ceiling window in the Ocean Front room gives fantastic views of the beach and ocean

Staff was very friendly I would highly recommend and hope to stay there again

Marc Phd

Wanted to find a place to stay overnight so we didn’t have to drive in the morning to enjoy the beach This was the perfect for us this time The lay out is a bit different; no elevator; only a dumb waiter (for luggage) available which helps

We booked the room (#202) with the view of the beach (Direct Ocean Front room) It was great ‼️ We would have loved it if it had a balcony, but still a wonderful sight to wake up seeing the sunrise glistening off the waters and illuminating the sand from our room We even got lucky to see pods of dolphins 🐬 swim/play up the coast (uploaded the video you can watch on here) ‼️They don’t have anyone after 8pm (security available after, no worries there), so be sure to call them if you’re going to arrive anywhere close or after that time There’s an outdoor lock box that you can access when you arrive The sign on the front door will explain this in detailAt the end, it’s worth the stay‼️

The hotel sits behind another business so I passed it coming in Looks better online & Price doesn’t match the accommodations to me Breakfast is continental, rooms are small, pool area is small & the gym is just a treadmill & an elliptical

To me the price should be maybe $200 a night (for holiday prices) instead of the $365 I paid per nightThought when I booked a suite I would have a small studio apartment feel but it’s just a regular room with a table, a microwave & a mini fridge for some razzle dazzleLoved the front desk staff & the location is good 3-5 miles from the major attractions of the area Also kind of like that the housekeeping is by request instead of someone just coming in your room

Tareen C

Location great and rooms were pretty clean

BUT the bed was rock hard Extremely uncomfortable Especially for a hotel called Sleep Inn Woke up at my 5am and started packing Couldn’t extend my reservation Not with so many quality hotels in the area on the same stripYes!! the bed made it a horrible experience!Complained to the manager She went to check it and says “its bouncy” Will never return Since when do rocks bounce? Then tried to convince me it was most likely due to me having MS Despite have a friend with me vouching it was similar to sleeping on the floorBaffled at the level of ignorance and lack of empathyI had to leave the premises to avoid reciprocating the energy I was receiving!!

First of all

if you’re going to give this place only 3 or 4 stars because they aren’t cleaning up after you every day or making your bed, then you’re ignorant! Everything and everyone about this place is so great! Not only are they so friendly, but they literally take time out of their day to ask how our stay is going, if we need anything or even recommendations for food places They are so kind to my son It feels like home when you come in here They recommended a perfect beach for my little 15 month old explorer He was terrified of the ocean the first day We went to Lewes beach, and he went into the water up to his waist Would have never gone if it wasn’t for the lady at the front desk The kiddy pool, the people that are staying, EVERYTHING! Down to the cleaning staff and breakfast gal Judy was such a pleasant worker She will make you be okay with a morning person around haha I will recommend this place to everyone and anyone If you’re complaining about room size then get a suite We had more than enough room and not to mention the bathroom actually smelt clean!!! I didn’t have to wipe stuff down when I came in I stayed in a 4 star hotel a couple weeks ago and it was the worst And the staff were just so miserable This place from what I see is a 2 start hotel which should be 10 stars because THEY ARE TOO AMAZING NOT TO BE! Thank you for having an amazing hotel for my little family to be at! We will be back!

Tiff and Kyle are the nicest crew members! They brought fun to bar!Overall not a bad place The team members keep the grounds clean Parents do not watch their kids, and camping etiquette is not followed

Kids walk through our site and didn’t care Adult pool is out of control Too many people to even enjoy it Great music bands the weekend of July 4th It is always nice to see kids outside enjoying the fishing and playing This camp resort is perfect for families

Sue Hetrick

I stayed here with 4 other girl friends for 3 nights in one of the newer cottages The cottage was very nice We loved the screened in porch where we were able to sit out late and play games

The porch could use a ceiling fan to help move some air around We did go to the small beach and pier to capture some beautiful sunsets The food that we did buy was very good The pool area was full when we arrived We still went in the adult side and enjoyed ourselves I definitely recommend renting the golf cart Especially if your in the cottages across the road I will definitely come back again and bring my family

Derrick Byrne

Sun Outdoors Rehoboth is a great location The sites are comfortably sized with the exception of little to no privacy on the back of the site Hookups were newer and appeared to be well maintained and nice firepits

The kids loved the family pool which did get crowded at times but had some water features to make it more enjoyable The pool near the office which has the swim up pool bar was a nice touch but the water was filthy and cloudy This may have been due to spilled drinks or food and/or sand but it was less appealing than the family pool where we spent most of our time when we stayed on site The Cafe was also great with large servings of Hershey’s ice cream at reasonable prices The main complaint we had was the misuse of the golf carts by obvious children and the lack of parenting but that is no fault to the facility Overall, it is a great location with friendly staff and plenty of activities for the family and close to many local attractions

Worst experience in my life,The hotel location is great and the front desk young Lady Madison is so nice and friendly that it’s the only good think when you dealing with all kinds of issues, first she was having a hard time with the thing that activate the room keys, once we arrived to our room the toilet was dirty with urine mark/splashes under the seat, shower walls were not clean and there were hairs everywhere, it was a handicap room witch we never requested so everything was in a odd position for us, the bed sheets had a bunch of hairs, lucky I have my own and we could just change those, a light bulb was out and the room looked like it hasn’t been use in a long time, and I can said this because my friend stayed in another room and everything was good even the room seems to be updated I tried not to be a me of those people that complained for everything but looking at the te here it said we could fix it if you call or said something but how about you make sure you rooms are clean and everything works good before you put people in it, it was a Holliday weekend and I pay almost $1500 for 3 nights that were not pleasant at all, the breakfast they offer is ok except for the pancakes machine that takes forever and it was a lot of people in line to get you 2 pancakes and the last days wasn’t even working, again the location of the hotel was the greatest and we could be out all the time and just use this place to sleepDefinitely not staying here ever again 😏😏

What a great hotel & great staff all day everyday of our stay! Everything was clean, bottles of water, cookies & apples were complimentary all dayThe room has every thing you may need to enhance your stay The only thing that didn’t work was the toaster

I requested another one & it was promptly brought up to the room, however, it produced too much smoke to be used in a hotel room right under the sprinkler, lolThank you to everyone on duty 4/5 – 4/7 front desk, housekeeping & maintenance!

Jonathan Tello

About a 10 min drive to the beach which we loved Rooms are very clean and cute the hotel had a great selection for breakfast overall we enjoyed the stay The reason I dnt give it 5 stars is because our refrigerator was not working so I could not keep my beverages cold

And also the mattress was not the best the size was good but it was not comfortable Digital check in was a plus

glenn sachetta

The hotel it’s self was awesome Came down to Spread my mothers ashes with my sister Everything was perfect

As we thought, I was double charged, i called the front desk to have it resolved Ms Bobbie was absolute nightmare she was nasty from the beginning to end She clearly doesn’t know how to speak to a customer The issue was that Hilton had double charged, claiming that they hadn’t got the funds from bookingcom, so that allowed them to charge my other card without authorization She constantly cut me off, talked down to me, threaten that her manager was right there ( which i cant believe the manager allowed her to speak to a customer like that ) and hung up the phone on me after i simply asked her did it get refunded? In the end, i received a call left me know that I am getting refund from Hilton it was a mess and honestly embarrassing for the company to have an employee like that representing them I filed a compliment with Hilton & Booking I truly hope this a learning experience for Ms Bobbie

The Residence Inn in Rehoboth Beach provided an exceptional experience Beautiful modern decor The fire pit is amazing this time of year; and conveniently located outside of the hotel bar which is great for smokers

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs The size of the sitting area in our suite is one aspect I wasn’t too happy with It was impossible to walk around the bed once you deploy the pull out couch Our kitchenette didn’t include an oven either which was listed in the amenities when I booked online However, I do believe some suites include a full kitchen area My advice is to call and confirm with the desk after making an online reservation to ensure your room has everything to fit your needs Other than that, this hotel has a laundry area, a tasty complimentary breakfast and so much more! Use the Bonvoy Marriott app for added perks ,like chatting with the front desk and no contact check-in Turns your phone into a key to access the many amenities within the property which is beyond convenient!

Quaint and extremely convenient to little shops and places to eat in Lewes We literally walked to a nearby pavilion to listen to a live band after dinner The hotel itself had the feel of old, classic, beach

There were beautiful fresh flowers and the staff were friendly and professional The room itself (we reserved the last available) was a nice size, corner – very clean It could have easily accommodated a king bed, but had a queen in it That being said, the bed was very comfortable with good pillows and bedding – very important to us It had an interior cooling unit which I normally do not prefer, but this one was fairly quiet and did not distract The TV was in a cabinet and quite small, but since we were not there to watch TV, we didn’t care Our friends were in a different room with a king bed, big TV, and nice balcony – we would try to reserve that room type for a future, long trip The bathroom was traditional without issue The morning breakfast appeared to offer what we would enjoy, but since we had breakfast plans elsewhere, we did not partake Overall, we liked this hotel and would return

Carolyn Baier

We had often seen the Inn and when we reviewed it online it looked wonderful We were disappointed! Our room on the 4th floor was dated or out-dated! The room smelled musty The rugs did not appear to be clean

The furniture was old and was not inviting because it looked dirty The mattress was one of the worst ever and yet the bedding gave a great appearanceThe continental breakfast was fine and had a lot of varietyUnfortunately, we would not recommend the Inn as it did not meet the expectations we have come to expect!

This is a very quaint Inn with a focus on sustainability and Dogfish (obviously)! If you like what Dogfish is all about then you’ll like this place The room was clean and the attendants were very nice/helpful The fire pit outside was great for sitting around and chatting with other guests after dark

There are free bikes you can take to ride around town You’re within walking distance of some good restaurants We’ll definitely be going back, as long as we book well in advance

Julie Blichmann

Quaint town with an eclectic inn If you’re looking for posh, skip this place If you’re looking for simple, clean and comfortable, this is the place to stop!Spent two nights here in January, so taking advantage of their bicycle rental, was not even considered! There are several restaurants in walking distance and the room has a refrigerator and microwave

We will definitely choose this place to stay whenever we make it back!

Jessica Stewart

I almost hate to post this review, as we love this place and want to ensure we can still get space We have stayed at this hotel both as a couple before children and as a family of four We loved it for different reasons

The location to beach and town is great, the beds are amazing, the place thinks of all the little items: fire pit (although miss the smoke from the real fire as helped to control mosquitoes), items to borrow, and the specialty things like the growler, etc We plan to continue to come back (hopefully every year!

If you want friendly service and an at-home atmosphere, look no further! The owner is a beautiful soul; she is friendly, accommodating and does her best to help you feel the most at home Located just about a block off the beach and boardwalk, its perfect for anyone who is on a budget but still wants to walk everywhereThings you should know: this is a Bed and Breakfast type place, you share a bathroom (toilet and and sink) with the other rooms on your floor, and your showers are ALL outdoors

There are locking doors on the showers of course and towels and wash cloths are provided There is coffee and tea in the morning with actual mugs and condiments for coffee/tea; and a beautiful wrap around porch with rocking chairs to enjoy your mornings The whole property is covered in planters and lovely decor with books and magazines for all to enjoy If you aren’t used to sharing a bathroom or outdoor showers, Id say give it a try The atmosphere is WELL worth it

Jesse Hickman

A real steal You are a block away from the boardwalk and only three from the main strip of Rehoboth For the price you really can’t beat that

It must be said that it could be inconvenient that a whole floor (4 rooms/ 8 to 16 people) have to share a single bathroom and there are only two showers, which are outside However, I was there over a very busy weekend – the place was full – but I didn’t have to wait onceIt’s nice and quiet there, and that’s how the people like it If you’re there to rage, you should look elsewhereLastly, I had read some reviews about intolerance for alternate lifestyles from some older reviews, but I’m here to set the record straight that the old lady that runs the place – while overtly religious – couldn’t be nicer and welcoming There were all sorts of people staying in the house with us – ranging from subdued to the more alternate lifestyle

I stay at Marriott properties quite often, and this was a great place! Centrally located, close to everything Outlet shopping, restaurants, the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, and Cape Henlopen State Park Quiet, clean rooms

Complimentary buffet breakfast was OK, not a lot of choices but enough to get by Egg omelets, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bread, fruit, a waffle station and coffee, tea and juice Staff was friendly and always greeted me when I came through the door

hunter kahl

As a titanium member … It is honestly laughable that this place charges the rates it does It is a nothing better than a road side motel that operates in price gouging of the highest degree

when asked for a member benefit they said don’t offer late checkout in the summer … even though Marriot guarantees it for titanium members Never had an issue with the other 100 Marriot properties I stayed at Plus the property was empty and three of the front staff were just hanging around because the property was dead Won’t be back

Just stayed here with my boyfriend— everything was amazing! Tom is so friendly, we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived All other staff are friendly as well The house is beautiful, clean and well decorated

The outdoor area both in front and back of the house are both great spots to relax during the day/evening And to top it off, breakfast was delicious as well Will definitely be returning

Hear me out with this review:I have never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast house before and when I was initially trying to book somewhere to stay in Rehoboth Beach this was the first place suggested The house contains rooms with private bathrooms and rooms on a floor with shared bathrooms I was very hesitant to book at first when I read that I would have to “share” a bathroom

We just returned home after a 4 night stay here and we were more than satisfied!Tom, the house owner, is super kind, personable and hospitable His other workers (Rayvn and Chris) are also so helpful and always get you what you need You can request to have breakfast in the morning from a menu selection and they bring you your food out at the time you request to have it ready for you Tom always came and checked up on us wherever we were sitting during breakfast to chat about random things, show us his puppy and ask us if we wanted more food or needed anythingThe room we stayed in had a shared bathroom in the hallway (we stayed on the 2nd floor and other rooms shared 2 full baths and a half bath with us) and it was actually very clean The staff did a good job replenishing towels each day and cleaning the shower/toilet/sink Felt very comfortable here We would love to try a room with a private bathroom (it was so booked up when we tried to get one initially so book way in advance!)I love that the beach was only a 4 minute walk and access to the main streets was only an alley walk away from the house No complaints at all after this stay When we sat out on the porch each morning and night, many people would walk by making comments about how pretty and interesting the establishment was The interior of the house smells super good and is clean Highly recommend staying here!Overall 5/5 stars and we will definitely be back next year 😊

jason bienert

This is what a bed and breakfast should be!Friendly hospitable staff, fresh cooked breakfast to order, and an owner that cares about the experience and the locationEvery staff person was so authenticly kind and thoughtfulEverything was clean and the house smelled great! We had a long weekend

arrived Friday night and left Monday morningThe location is within walking distance to just about everythingThe rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointedHonestly this location and the people that give it its heart were quite a suprise, we’ve never stayed anywhere that wasn’t a chainWe will definately revisit!!!If you enjoy history and the way small towns tend to rewrite themselves as unknown obscure things come to light Do yourself a favor and ask the owner about the history of the place I’m glad he had the time to share with us before we checked out

Felt safe at night with a well lit parking lot and we stayed in the section that had room doors inside and has a lobby door that was locked from 6pm to 8am Price was great We stayed during the “off” season at the beginning of March The building looks great, clean and well maintainedThey were doing some maintenance and remodeling and getting ready for the upcoming season Will stay here again during our next trip

I spent two nights here with my dad One on race weekend, and an extra night for the rain out In total a 2 day stay

We love the anchorage! The woman at the front desk is nice & helpful, they offer complimentary coffee & tea in the mornings The Anchorage is located on coastal 1 so the highway can be loud, plus on race weekend, people are enjoying themselves and being a bit loud Bring ear plugs! The rooms were clean, and they had shampoo & soap samples in the bathroom for your convenience We love to weigh anchor here!

Loved our room here! The owners went above and beyond to make it feel homey and more than welcoming It was right in the middle of all of the entertainment, which was amazing! Especially because we’re tourists and had no problem entertaining ourselves simply based off of the location We’re already planning a summer trip back to Rehoboth and will be staying here again

Thank you!

Came here last weekend with my boyfriend while he was working only stayed a few hours Everything was very clean the front desk made recommendations for food which was nice since I was not from the area VERY quiet which I am sure everyone would appreciate

Doors are a little heavy, so they slam when you open and close them going in and out of your room

Hotel was minimal You need to request housekeeping service as they are not cleaning rooms if you are staying more than one night Also do state the type of room, I was given an accessible room at check-in without being asked if I was okay with it (No they were not sold out)

We were a family of three with a small kid This hotel is also quite far away from the beaches so be prepared for a ride

Hotel advertises as accommodations for Sports at the Beach I would not recommend booking this hotel for a team attending Sports at the Beach The hotel is close to the complex but is not set up to deal with a team of children

Besides the pool, there is no where for kids to congregate in the evening Pool closes too early Some staff members were very accommodating and understanding, others were rigid and rude I understand that it is not easy to take on a team of 11 year old boys, but you advertise for it so figure it out Maybe a game room?? Horribly overpriced for the area No cleaning service, no clean towels Garbage bins in hallway fill up quickly and are not routinely changed Do your self a favor and find another location even if it means driving a little farther
