got told a rate of $120 after taxes after giving my information and they found out i’m from Canada they gave me a nice discount so it was $88 instead totally awesome!!! our room was amazing

very spacious, super comfy beds, very clean water park was AMAZING took my 3 year old and 9 month old nieces there took the 3 year old down the water slides and she just LOVED them pools were definitely aged, but still fully functional and super awesome totally will be going again also a great perk that it’s connected to the mall super happy

Ryan Price

Dirty and run down Including water park is run down, which 3 big slides where very fast! need a medium speed one Yellow one felt extremely dangerous and thought we would fly out the first and only time we went down

Hotel NEEDS major remodel to get back on track We took 4 year old, 2 year old and baby here to stay for 3 nights It’s in great location and convenience to games, water, shopping, and dining are perfect but just never felt clean and our guard was always up having to make sure kids didn’t get into all the dirty floors, bathrooms, pretty much everything Arcade and mall is really very good though

Molly Price

Absolutely filthy DO NOT stay herePros:•fridge was very cold•great location to shopping and restaurants•staff was seemingly friendly• Pet FriendlyCons:• Extremely dirty (floors in rooms, bathroom, hallways, etc… wiped the tile floors a few times and towel was black 😳)•way overpriced for how unsanitary and filthy it is – they should be paying guests to stay here!• Our toilet didn’t flush half the time and we had to manually flush it through the tank• Shower super strange (felt like a giant rocket or something – no tubs for children which I would have NOT bathed my kids here If someone paid me)• pool area also very grimy, the stairs to the slides are repulsive (thank goodness for chlorine)• slides are very dangerous even for adults – I have the battle wounds to prove it

Overall this place needs to be demolished to the ground and rebuilt It needs a major revamp Super unfortunate because the location is awesome! Does anyone in this facility know how to clean? Absolutely disgusting and disappointed! Will NOT be staying here again and will NOT be recommending this to anyone! GOOD LUCK future guests!

I would concur with others who say that this is a very clean hotel for the price I was leary given the low rate, but it was very clean and the staff was friendly The pool is small, and the breakfast light (although they did have waffles), but that is to be expected given that it’s not priced with the larger higher-end hotels

It even looks like it’s been renovated within the last 5-10 years I would stay here again

Jackson Rohrbaugh

Nice, friendly staff Beautiful rooms The views out the windows are spectacular after a snow

It reminds of my trip to North Dakota after the war We had finally won, and I was exhausted from the plane trip back I had very little money, all I had was what little was left of the allowance given to me by my parents i had spent the rest of it at bars and clubs in Germany, France, and Italy I needed a good rate on a clean room And I especially needed a hot shower with good water pressure, specifically 40-50 PSI After going from hotel to hotel I finally settled on the Sierra Inn They welcomed me like I was family and I have visited every third Wednesday of the month since 2015 Also visit Kroll’s diner Get the pancakes and ask for Sue

cindy kimble

The Sierra Inn is a nice hotel, the beds are a little hard for my sleeping pleasure, but I do like my bed softer Bathroom and room is very clean along with the hotel parts that I used The pool was nice and warm and I did not stink of chlorine when I left the pool

that’s a plus! Hotwl staff was always pleasant and professional, whoever o seen them in the hotel im passing and whejni checked in and out

Hotel was great for a nights stay Quiet and beds comfortable The only thing was that the coffee and the continental breakfast was less than par

Great thing was the shower was hot and strong Linens where clean and tight Check in was easy and clerk was personable

nat Johnson

First off, everytime I ran into a staff member they all were so friendly and very welcoming The location of the hotel was amazing,it’s by a Wings and Rings and seconds away from the Dakota Square mall The rooms were very clean, Front desk are in charge of breakfast, and the guy working Tuesday (August 9th) was awesome at keeping an eye on things, and even making sure health codes were followed by telling someone they needed to put a shirt on before eating in the area and held his ground when the guy started being a bit rude towards him

Whenever I come back to Minot, this is the hotel I’m staying at

Carol Clayton

Only good thing about the hotel was it was near the mall ( 1 star) Carpets in hallways and stairwell were filthy Our bathtub would not drain after shower and when we spoke to front desk, they asked what we would like them to do about it?!? We were told there would be house keeping but there was not

Will not stay here again

This hotel was AMAZING! The staff was the friendliest staff we have dealt with in a very long time at hotels Nicole was super helpful and niceWe stayed in one of the queen suites

It had a pull out couch, ottoman, window seat and small bar setup with sink, fridge and microwave The bed was super comfy, but like all hotels I recommend getting more pillows The room was super clean and well stocked with itemsPool was nice, hot tub was cozy and warm Appeared way cleaner than many hotel pools Restroom in the pool area and towels well stockedIf you are traveling to Minot, I highly recommend this hotel

Susan K. Gillen

my stay was a little different, as my apartment flooded and it took a few days to get it dried out, cleaned and inhabitable again, so they put me up at Microtel until my apt was done The staff was excellent and always so nice and helpful It helped reduce my stress level and not worry so much

I would recommend this Hotel for sure, they make you feel right at home!

Ray Beshirs

I just checked in to the hotel, and I don’t think my air conditioning works right and the wall remote is broke There are stains on the coffee table and the room is small I read the reviews before booking, but the reviews are not correct at all

I’m really considering checking out and finding a new hotel I called the front desk and they told me they don’t do refunds even after paying for a week The front desk was not helpful and didn’t offer a different room This place is a dump

Every employee I spoke to was happy and seem to enjoy the job they were doing They were pet friendly which was a huge bonus Not once did we hear kinds screaming

Best part is you can have a pool view which guess what you are going to hear families enjoying the time at the pool or you can have have a room that faces the outside that is unbelievably quite This will forever be our go to hotel Amazing views, not a ton of traffic in and out, within walking distance to certain things, offer a great shuttle anywhere really Even our dog who who hates everyone and everything enjoyed his stay! Thank you to the wonderful staff! Especially the ladies up front who always went above and beyond!

Teri Pender

Checked in and was given a room that was occupied Go back to desk to have 2 unprofessional girls argue with me that I was wrong Then figure out that they didn’t check in the person 5 hours prior

Ordered the champagne and chocolate but nobody could seem to locate it One excuse after another Was told we couldn’t use the pool because it was 10 pm But could see kids in the pool and at least 20 adults having a pizza party at the pool until well after 11 pm AC in room barley worked Mini fridge didn’t keep anything cold Spoke to a different equally unprofessional woman in the morning who was less than helpful She offered to give me a 20$ credit which wasn’t a credit but the 20$ I was already charged for the champagne and chocolate we didn’t get Waited until Monday morning to speak with the GM Gabriel and made a special trip back to the hotel to speak to him in person He assured me that he would take care of it and text me since I would be flying home and not reachable Never got the text Called again today and left 2 messages asking for a call Didn’t get one My credit card was charged the full amount Extremely disappointed with the entire experience Complete waste of time and money Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else

Kaitlyn Hernandez

Hands down one of the worst hotel stays me and my mom have had yetNumber 1 After traveling through two different airports, we arrive to check in at 9:30pm, the girls at the desk gave us our room key and when we arrived to the room it was already occupied with someone they failed to check in hours prior to our arrival

No apology, nothing, just a little giggle followed by “Maybe we should check them in now “Number 2 We ordered the chocolate and champagne to be in our rooms and it was not, we were told they couldn’t even locate the chocolateNumber 3 The room was gross, the carpet felt sticky like it had never been cleaned, the beds had a hole in the middle that we just kept rolling into, the fridge didn’t work so we had to throw all our stuff away, the lights and the thermostat were brokenExtremely unprofessional Still have not been refunded Will never stay there again

Reasonably priced option in MOT where there aren’t that many options Optimal location for business and leisure activities Attractively priced

Great staff and decent complimentary breakfast and manager’s evening reception F&B However, no daily housekeeping and poor maintenance/response to service requests Notified front desk 3 times of low water pressure, lack of hot water and broken shampoo/soap dispenser No action taken Also not a fan of housekeeping every 7 daysOverall, prefer Hampton Inn and Suites on Broadway, near the airport or Hyatt House as these offer more elevated stay experience

Rebecca S. Lancaster

As a group of four we all enjoyed our stay We were able to be comfortable and not crowded The hotel sheets were great

We asked for housekeeping to come as the garbage did pile up quickly and even though the policy was to have them come every seven days the front desk honored my request and made sure the beds were made and the garbage emptied

Kyle Schmaltz

Although it might be “pricey” for Minot, this hotel is worth every penny As you walk in, there is a huge open lobby with food to the left and an incredibly huge outdoor area The rooms are always clean and tidy

The pool is large for a hotel along with the hot tub This would be a perfect place to stay, if it wasn’t always booked booked because it’s such a great place to stay!!

While the staff is very nice hotel is lacking the most basic amenities I could not get a plastic cup for water They no longer have coffee in the lobby

When I asked the front desk about these things they said that they required too much time so they had eliminated them If it is too much time to stock plastic cups I wonder what else they are skimping on I won’t be saying there again

Ben Brunner

Nice but slow staff every time I go down stairs I see people waiting and I waited for 20 mins for silverware turns out they don’t provide any silverware, pots I understand but you don’t have basic silverware I’ve stay and a couple cheap hotels in minot and tioga and they all had pots and basic silverware like why even have a stove if there’s nothing provided this really dropped the ball for me

Bottom line bring your own pots pans bowls plates and silverware if you plan on cooking and eating the food you cook here smh

Great place with friendly staff Room is clean and well put together Has a shop area that is like a mini c-store

Has a lounge area serving beer and wine The breakfast area has a broad array of options The one hiccup is the hotel is way north past the airport So it takes a bit to get to shopping and food areas BUTif you are flying in or out it’s awesome

Alan Johnson

Good enoughMinor nagging concernsWash room sink and tub drains did not work properly An alarm rang from 5 am to 8:30 then started again at 9:30 It was not known that facility was pet friendly until we asked, at reception, if that was a dog barking down the hall

No one asked if we had allergies to cats, dogs or other animal’s

Went for the Shaun T event and expo The conference rooms were nice The bathrooms we’re clean the first time but when I used them in the afternoon it was kind of a mess

The space was good for the event Event was staffed and seemed very to business without an friendly personality Not sure if they were hotel or just event staff so I don’t want to say it was the hotel I can’t remember the names of the rooms we were all in Looked at the pool area and it looked great Only bad thing was that all information said it was the holiday inn but the signage on the building said a different name which really threw me off Otherwise location was nice

Tiffany Rupp

Right next to the state fair grounds Nice pool area Slides for the kids and a hot tub for your weary bones

The hotel has had a couple of renovations in the last few years Rooms are nice Nothing special but comfortable and clean Staff is nice For food they are connected to the Ground Round as well as their own restaurant The Pavilion I wasn’t very impressed with their breakfast buffet

Rebecca Hooker

Stayed here for the first time on a business trip I would definitely stay here again The employees were kind and helpful

The hotel and room was clean The rooms have the coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator It is convenient to have a lounge downstairs There is not a complimentary breakfast but there is a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast I did not eat breakfast here However, I ate supper in the attached Ground Round Bar & Grill restaurant and enjoyed the food and convenience of not having to drive anywhere

Stayed multiple nights The staff is so friendly and the service is great The rooms are well looked after and we loved the driveup access to our room

There’s a large variety for the complimentary breakfast with both hot and cold options Pool area was quite spacious and the hot tub allowed for many people to be in there at once It was very comfortable and homey, and doesn’t break the bank We highly recommend the Kelly Inn for your next stay

Britany Ortega

Very helpful staff, housekeepers were awesome about cleaning up after our children and accommodating their cleaning schedule to when we left each day Room literally right next to the pool and hot tub, very convenient! The breakfast was excellent each morning! Comfortable, clean roomThe only negative things that impacted our stay: no fitness center within hotel and there is no laundry room within hotel

(There is a laundry mat within a mile up the road)
